The Stone Zone with legendary Republican strategist and political icon and pundit
00:00:09.280
Roger Stone. Stone has served as a senior campaign aide to three Republican presidents.
00:00:14.980
He is a New York Times bestselling author and a longtime friend and advisor of President Donald
00:00:19.680
Trump. As an outspoken libertarian, Stone has appeared on thousands of broadcasts,
00:00:24.600
spoken at countless venues, and lectured before the prestigious Oxford Political Union and the
00:00:29.700
Cambridge Union Society. Due to his four-plus decades in the political and cultural arena,
00:00:34.840
Stone has become a pop culture icon. And now, here's your host, Roger Stone.
00:00:43.940
Welcome. I'm Roger Stone. And yes, you are back in the Stone Zone. I hope you and your family had a
00:00:51.600
blessed and joyous Easter. Who would ever have thought that a former president of the United
00:00:58.960
States advocating for the Bible would be the slightest bit controversial? A country and
00:01:05.340
Western superstar and one of the most beloved patriots and Christians in the country, Lee Greenwood,
00:01:11.540
has produced the God Bless the USA Bible, and his friend, Donald J. Trump, made a video advocating that
00:01:20.900
folks buy it. It's an amazing Bible, but it sparked a controversy from the godless left.
00:01:27.860
Joining me now is my co-host, Troy Smith at Slingshot.news. And then joining us momentarily will be Lee
00:01:37.020
Greenwood himself to help us break down this extraordinary development. Troy, welcome back
00:01:43.760
on the show. I hope you had a great holiday. It was a great Easter, Roger, and I hope you had the same.
00:01:49.100
God bless you. All right, ladies and gentlemen, Lee Greenwood joins us now to talk about his Bible
00:01:55.080
and the fact that he has flipped the godless, atheistic left out of their minds just by putting
00:02:03.280
it forward. Thanks very much. And hi, guys. Troy, Roger, nice to talk to you. I have some shocking
00:02:11.400
news. I'm switching to the left, April Fools. Thank God. You almost gave me a heart attack there.
00:02:22.560
The first thing I wanted to say to you is that what I really believe to be true, and yes, we had a
00:02:30.520
wonderful Easter year yesterday. My kids were in town. Dalton came in from Chicago with his wife,
00:02:34.900
recently married, and then Parker came in from Miami, where he's at the University of Miami,
00:02:39.220
getting his master's in music education. And so we talked about this a little bit. I really believe
00:02:45.660
that a lot of the people on the left are Christians. And what's a shame is that they will put their
00:02:50.740
hatred for Donald Trump in front of their religion, in front of their beliefs that faith is important
00:02:55.320
in this country. And thank you for asking about the God bless the USA Bible, because we've been
00:03:00.900
endorsing this for over three years. And yes, I sent President Trump a copy of it. I signed it.
00:03:08.500
And as a matter of fact, he signed another copy and sent it back to me, which I have proudly on my
00:03:13.480
desk here. It's interesting that the Bible is 2,000 years old. This is nothing new. What is new about
00:03:20.300
this particular Bible, it has four documents in the back of the Bible we have inserted at the request
00:03:25.760
for the publisher. That's the Constitution, the Declaration of Independence, the Pledge of
00:03:30.820
Allegiance, by the way, and the Bill of Rights, and a handwritten version of God bless the USA for
00:03:35.160
those people who would just like to have that memory. But those documents are very important,
00:03:40.160
because that's how our country got started. And what's wrong with putting those documents along
00:03:45.000
with the faith that people had when they came here on the Mayflower, and they settled in this country
00:03:50.080
to get away from the restrictions of the King of England, who said, we absolutely are not going to
00:03:55.740
allow you to have the religion of your choice. Yeah, this is, Lee, as you know, when you were kind
00:04:02.340
enough to do my WABC radio show in New York, we talked extensively about this Bible. I spoke to the
00:04:08.180
president yesterday to wish him a happy Resurrection Sunday. He told me, you've got to get yourself one of
00:04:14.420
these. It's absolutely beautiful. Let's roll President Trump talking about the Bible.
00:04:20.080
I'm proud to be partnering with my very good friend, Lee Greenwood, who doesn't love his song,
00:04:26.000
God Bless the USA, in connection with promoting the God Bless the USA Bible. This Bible is the King
00:04:33.440
James Version and also includes our founding father documents. Yes, the Constitution, which I'm fighting
00:04:39.880
for every single day, very hard to keep Americans protected. Also, the Bill of Rights, the Declaration of
00:04:47.100
Independence and the Pledge of Allegiance are all part of this. God bless the USA Bible. And it's
00:04:54.140
very important and very important to me. I want to have a lot of people have it. You have to have it
00:04:59.380
for your heart, for your soul. Many of you have never read them and don't know the liberties and
00:05:04.940
rights you have as Americans and how you are being threatened to lose those rights. It's happening all the
00:05:11.100
time. It's a very sad thing that's going on in our country, but we're going to get it turned around.
00:05:16.380
Religion and Christianity are the biggest things missing from this country. And I truly believe
00:05:21.680
that we need to bring them back and we have to bring them back fast. I think it's one of the
00:05:25.560
biggest problems we have. That's why our country is going haywire. We've lost religion in our country.
00:05:31.920
All Americans need a Bible in their home. And I have
00:05:34.880
many. It's my favorite book. It's a lot of people's favorite book. This Bible is a reminder
00:05:41.000
that the biggest thing we have to bring back America and to make America great again is our
00:05:46.160
religion. Religion is so important. It's so missing, but it's going to come back and it's
00:05:51.400
going to come back strong, just like our country is going to come back strong. In the end, we do not
00:05:56.080
answer to bureaucrats in Washington. We answer to God in heaven. Christians are under siege. We must
00:06:03.740
protect content that is pro-God. We love God and we have to protect anything that is pro-God. We must
00:06:12.840
offend God in the public square and not allow the media or the left-wing groups to silence, censor,
00:06:19.420
or discriminate against us. We have to bring Christianity back into our lives and back into
00:06:25.880
what will be again a great nation. Our founding fathers did a tremendous thing when they built
00:06:32.700
America on Judeo-Christian values. Now that foundation is under attack, perhaps as never
00:06:39.880
before. What can we do? Stand up, speak out, and pray that God will bless America again. I'm proud to
00:06:47.680
endorse and encourage you to get this Bible. We must make America pray again. Pray, get educated,
00:06:56.140
get motivated, get motivated, and stand with me and the legions of Americans asking God to bless our
00:07:02.100
great nation, to bring our great nation back, and to make America great again. I'm proud to partner
00:07:08.360
with Lee in this offering. He's a very special man, both as a talent, but maybe even more so as a human
00:07:15.460
being. He's very, very special. And I think you all should get a copy of God Bless the USA Bible Now and
00:07:23.480
help spread our Christian values with others. There you have it. Let's make America pray again.
00:07:35.300
Now, to me, that was so much more than just a promotion for this great Bible. And I think that
00:07:42.040
message, as put forward by the president, is vitally, vitally important. Lee, were you surprised at the
00:07:49.920
at the backlash among the mindless left about that simple message?
00:07:56.680
Not at all. And, you know, Troy, you're much younger than I am, but I will tell you that I've
00:08:02.020
lived a life all my life. I went to the First Baptist Church when I was 13 years old in Sacramento,
00:08:06.720
California, where I was raised. And I didn't know anything about people on the left. I didn't know
00:08:12.980
that there was actually a part of the United States somewhere that actually hated America enough that
00:08:18.080
they would get on media and condemn it. And now it seems like most of the mainstream media has
00:08:23.620
sided with that group of people to also condemn America for so many things. You know, we're the
00:08:30.080
most benevolent country on this earth, and we've taken care of so many people. Look at the wars in
00:08:35.720
Korea and Vietnam, World War I, World War II, where we defended other countries with our lives, left blood
00:08:41.640
on other shores, just because we believe freedom is precious. Freedom is under attack. However,
00:08:48.520
my kind of freedom, to me, is a Christian freedom. We started as a Christian nation. Why aren't we still
00:08:54.980
considered that? Look, I'm a hard-boiled political strategist, but in all honesty, if there was ever a
00:09:03.860
time that we needed divine intervention, when we needed prayer, that time is now. Everything that we hold
00:09:11.260
dear, all the fundamental underpinnings of this country, which is based on Judeo-Christian values,
00:09:16.680
are under attack. And it's just, it's amazing to me that the same weekend, Easter weekend,
00:09:23.320
the holiest of weekends, the president is under attack for advocating the Bible. At the same time,
00:09:30.940
Joe Biden is declaring it to be Transgendered Visibility Day, which is an insult to every Christian
00:09:38.720
in the country. I honestly think that they've lost their minds. I mean, no one can believe that
00:09:45.920
that will win them votes. It is really offensive, I think, to every Christian in the country. We're
00:09:53.400
going to put up the website where people can go order this great Bible. I've ordered mine.
00:09:59.000
I ordered it as soon as I saw the president's video. There you have it, folks. Godblesstheusabible.com.
00:10:06.400
We'll leave that up for a second. Godblesstheusabible.com. You can also go to Lee's
00:10:14.460
website, and it's available through the website as well. This is an amazing cultural development.
00:10:24.120
We've got about a minute. Troy, do you have a question for Lee? And then we're going to let him go.
00:10:28.380
Absolutely. Mr. Greenwood, could you just speak real quickly about
00:10:31.400
the anger that is shown by these people? Do you think that people should be discouraged by that?
00:10:38.220
How should they at home feel when they see you put out a Bible and you're attacked for it? And the
00:10:43.140
president, I mean, how should we feel about that? Well, the key word in your question, Troy, is they.
00:10:48.840
Who are they? And it's interesting that everybody considers my career non-controversial.
00:10:55.040
I have never been anyone to condemn anyone else. I don't use my stage for a pulpit. I don't even
00:11:01.080
broadcast the fact that I make a little joke here or there about my association with former
00:11:06.400
President Trump. But I've sang for 10 different presidents. And I've also been employed by the
00:11:11.720
government under five different administrations as the National Endowment of the Arts Council.
00:11:16.680
And of course, now I'm a trustee for the Kennedy Center. And so all I do is try to be
00:11:22.200
a good American, a good citizen. And when people say and shake their finger at me because I'm
00:11:27.540
associated with a former President Donald Trump, I was associated with President Obama and President
00:11:32.640
Carter and President Clinton. So during the Firearms Memorial at Yankee Stadium after the attack on
00:11:38.100
America, President Clinton was standing right with me when I sang there for the Firearms Memorial.
00:11:43.380
You know, you can't condemn me for what I do. You may shake your finger at me because I'm a
00:11:48.120
Republican and a conservative, but you certainly can't do it because I'm a Christian.
00:11:52.200
All right, folks, there you have it. You can go to leegreenwood.com. We're going to put up that
00:11:57.940
Bible address one more time. Let's do that. Godblesstheusabible.com. Folks, order yours
00:12:03.800
right now. Lee Greenwood, we're honored by your presence. God bless you, my friend. And
00:12:08.700
thanks for jumping on it at late notice. We're really very, very welcome. Very, very grateful to
00:12:14.560
have you. Thanks, Roger. And you as well, Troy. Thank you. Have a great day.
00:12:19.200
All right, folks, we're going to go to a quick commercial message. And then when we come back,
00:12:24.620
we're going to talk about the train wreck that is RFK's running mate for vice president. We know
00:12:31.120
so much more now than we knew late last week. In the meantime, stand by for a quick message from our
00:12:51.980
Is there any regrets that you have in life? I should sit here and say, yeah, I got a lot of,
00:12:57.340
yeah, I got a lot of regrets. But when I look back on my life and I understand the lives that were lost,
00:13:04.880
I mean, I'm sitting here with them. And I can tell my story.
00:13:12.620
Former National Security Advisor, Lieutenant General Michael Flynn, pleading guilty today for lying to
00:13:17.180
the FBI. He was one of the most respected generals in the military. He was, by definition, the most
00:13:22.240
dangerous possible person for Donald Trump to hire.
00:13:25.920
He's a brilliant military career, serving 33. Why was he being so abusive?
00:13:45.460
Joining me at the news desk now is Rebecca Walzer of walzerwealth.com. She has been a regular guest on
00:13:52.760
my TV show, Brennan House Live, for a long time. She's not just an economics expert, but she's an
00:13:58.460
attorney. Rebecca, you have a large firm. How many people work for your firm?
00:14:04.240
30. And tell me, how can people prepare for what's coming with the, well, the end of the dollar as
00:14:10.440
The end of the fiat system as we know it globally. We are moving to hard asset-backed currencies again.
00:14:15.460
Thank the Lord, because fiat is where we get into all the problems. When you have debt-based
00:14:19.900
currency, you have debt-based problems. And the United States, unfortunately, since 2020,
00:14:24.380
has not stopped spinning at pandemic levels. This is systemic, and it is unsustainable,
00:14:30.500
and it is coming to an end, especially with the addition of Saudi Arabia and the UAE to the BRICS
00:14:34.900
nations. This is what controls our petrodollar. This is the threat immediately in 2024.

00:14:48.320
Welcome back. If you're just tuning in, I'm Roger Stone. We were honored to have
00:15:05.220
Lee Greenwood, the country and Western superstar, and of course, best known for his national anthem,
00:15:12.660
really. God bless the USA. It's amazing to me that there's actually a controversy about the fact
00:15:19.260
that President Trump advocated the purchase of this amazing, illustrated Bible. But that's where
00:15:29.260
the country is headed. And then, as I said, Troy, what's particularly amazing about this, and we'll get
00:15:35.100
to this a bit later, is the fact that they attacked Trump for promoting the Bible. At the same time,
00:15:40.760
they are promoting, on the holiest of holy days for Christians, they're promoting Transgender Visibility
00:15:50.320
Day. Now, I don't care who you are, even the most hardcore leftist cannot think that that's a vote
00:15:57.720
getter, cannot think that that has broad appeal to Americans, and not recognize that it's offensive
00:16:05.360
to so many Christians. But first, let's talk, Troy, about Robert F. Kennedy's campaign, because,
00:16:14.380
well, I think he made an egregious error last week. He tried to build a great deal of suspense
00:16:21.380
around the naming of his running mate. There were rumors that it would be a former Minnesota governor,
00:16:28.140
Jesse Ventura. There were also rumors planted that it would be a football great Aaron Rodgers.
00:16:35.360
There had earlier been some speculation that Tulsi Gabbard, the former congresswoman from Hawaii,
00:16:42.500
once a Democrat, now an independent, was in contention. And then he came forward with this
00:16:49.280
choice that is, A, first of all, it leaked, which destroyed the suspense of the moment. But then,
00:16:56.380
secondarily, her politics seemed to be hard, hard progressive left.
00:17:02.300
I have a piece I just put up at StoneZone.com, also putting it out on my substack, because I want
00:17:10.100
people who were wobbly on Donald Trump, voted for him last time, thinking about voting for him again,
00:17:17.100
but might have been considering RFK to understand the way this has really revealed for us who RFK really is.
00:17:25.360
Well, and Roger, you pointed out something that's pretty substantial there, and I think it needs to
00:17:29.740
be emphasized. It's that this campaign has major leak problems. And every time they try to build
00:17:35.600
anything, Diana Falzone of Mediaite leaks it. And, you know, I did a piece on this, Roger, that's got,
00:17:43.500
I think, over 200,000 impressions on Twitter. And we ran some ads on it and people really picking up on
00:17:50.060
it because RFK's campaign has a leak. And as you've stated here before, any presidential campaign that
00:17:56.700
has the amount of problems with leaking that this campaign has, obviously has structural issues. And as
00:18:03.740
we've talked about here on the show before, I think this move is a sellout move. It's a move to bring on a
00:18:09.740
billionaire that has a lot of money that's willing to put it towards the campaign. Shanahan played a huge role in
00:18:16.540
the Super Bowl ad that we discussed here on the Stone Zone. And, you know, the idea that he's going
00:18:23.120
to sell out, I still don't think he gets on the ballot in a lot of these states. You've confirmed
00:18:27.700
that as well, Roger. And at the same time, as you point out, there's a lot of questions about this
00:18:33.060
person. Here's Robert F. Kennedy, who spends a majority of his time talking about censorship.
00:18:38.100
He has to do the podcast circuit because he's not allowed on mainstream media. And yet his running mate,
00:18:44.980
was married to a co-founder of Google that spends their time censoring him. She's vaxxed. She's
00:18:51.080
boosted. RFK spends a lot of time talking about the COVID vaccines, the danger of that. His running
00:18:56.880
mate played along with that. So as we're going into the election here, Roger, it's kind of, my question
00:19:03.120
is, who are they trying to appeal to? Who does this, I mean, who in the RFK camp does this selection
00:19:11.200
appeal to? And maybe you can help answer that question, Roger.
00:19:15.460
Yeah, it's, I can't figure that out. I mean, Shanahan is at best an obscure attorney and
00:19:22.300
social justice advocate, unknown to the American public. As you point out, she is best known for
00:19:29.580
being part of a love triangle, allegedly, with Sergey Brin, who is the founder of Google, Google being
00:19:36.420
the number one culprit in the country in terms of election interference. We had Dr. Robert Epstein
00:19:44.480
on my 77 WABC radio show not long ago. It was one of the best shows we've ever done. It's amazing the
00:19:51.760
way Google manipulates the information that Americans get in order to affect elections. That's a discussion
00:19:59.520
for another day. She was rumored to be in a love triangle with Elon Musk, somebody I actually
00:20:07.240
admire. And then shortly after that, she and Brin were divorced and she got an extraordinary windfall.
00:20:16.880
I think you put your finger on it in the sense that what made her attractive to RFK was her checkbook.
00:20:25.580
Uh, but she is really not politically copacetic with the, with the, uh, issues that he's chosen
00:20:37.560
to emphasize. Now it's interesting. RFK, uh, talks about health freedom and in that area, I applaud him. Uh,
00:20:46.300
he, he has a concern about the border. Uh, I, I also, uh, think he's basically imitating Donald Trump's
00:20:54.120
position on that. Uh, and, uh, he never talks much about the fact that he wants advocating putting
00:21:01.160
those who don't believe in his climate agenda, uh, in prison, uh, or his support of abortion on
00:21:08.820
demand, uh, or his support of reparations for people who may or may not have been the descendants
00:21:16.520
of slaves. Shanahan is the founder of something called the bio echo foundation, which is a San
00:21:23.640
Francisco based foundation that serves as a money dump for various left-wing causes. She's overseen
00:21:31.300
$10 million in contributions from to the Silicon Valley community foundation, an organization that
00:21:38.200
gets violent felons back onto the streets and helps illegals, uh, invade California. Uh, they have
00:21:46.000
$14 billion in assets and they basically exploit liberal guilt to amass, uh, millions of dollars
00:21:54.360
from some of the richest leftists and corporations in the country, uh, for the advancement of gender
00:22:00.260
and racial and economic, uh, justice. Shanahan's also a major financial supporter of measure J
00:22:07.800
in Los Angeles County, which is essentially defund the police in practice. Uh, measure J forces LA
00:22:15.420
county to spend 10% of its locally gathered funds on mental health treatment, housing subsidies,
00:22:21.720
and other programs meant to clear the county jails. This money cannot be allocated to law enforcement
00:22:28.060
or prisons. It's a step towards revolutionizing the criminal justice system under the black lives
00:22:34.980
matter flag. Essentially it's a new racial caste system. Uh, she's also a huge financial supporter of
00:22:43.860
Los Angeles, uh, County district attorney, George Gascon. If you don't know him, he's the male version of
00:22:51.880
Alvin Bragg. He's the male version of Fannie Willis. Uh, he's, uh, another soft crime Soros, uh, funded
00:23:01.920
prosecutor. Uh, there's, uh, been a major effort to remove him. Uh, this woman doesn't fit the coalition that
00:23:13.040
Kennedy keeps saying he's trying to put together. It's kind of shocking, but I think it should end any
00:23:19.100
delusion, uh, among moderates or anti-establishment conservatives that Robert Kennedy is a viable
00:23:27.740
alternative. Sure. He's pushed back against big pharma, but the policies that he advocates when it comes to
00:23:35.520
social justice would, would ruin the country, uh, even faster than big pharma has, uh, I really found
00:23:44.540
this choice shocking. So what explains it to me, Troy, this tells me that his effort to get on the
00:23:50.920
ballot is not going well, uh, and that they need more money to pay paid petition circulators because
00:24:00.300
they're, they don't have enough volunteers or their volunteers don't have the skills or the discipline
00:24:05.740
necessary to collect the necessary and required signatures in the timeframe required. So I think
00:24:13.540
what Ms. Shanahan brought, uh, was her checkbook. Uh, and I noticed that RFK has gone from saying that
00:24:20.440
his ballot access drive would cost 20 million to now saying it will cost 50 million, 50 million dollars.
00:24:29.100
Look, uh, Robert Kennedy has some interesting things to say, but it's going to take somebody
00:24:35.400
like Donald Trump to take on the deep state, uh, whether it is Trump's chutzpah, his aura, his
00:24:41.580
essence, uh, he's a wrecking ball. And that's, what's called for now a wrecking ball, not an effete,
00:24:48.920
polite liberal, uh, with a running mate who is funding the very people that are destroying this country.
00:24:55.540
Well, Roger, and I just like to ask you, you know, uh, the Shanahan pick is
00:24:58.980
interesting to me because I think, and I could be wrong about this, but I think, uh, there's a,
00:25:04.420
there's a thing in this country where a political outsider who, uh, you know, I would, I would call
00:25:09.900
Kennedy kind of an outsider. I mean, he has that outsider appeal, although he is a Kennedy, you know,
00:25:14.840
it's hard to, it's hard to say that a Kennedy is an outsider and anything political, but, uh, in this
00:25:19.960
case, I think it fits. And yet is, you know, I think throughout time, we've seen kind of a more
00:25:26.420
establishment running mate for an outsider candidate. And I'm interested to hear your
00:25:31.240
thoughts. I mean, from all the things you're telling me, it sounds like Shanahan is, is pretty
00:25:36.020
much a Democrat insider that's funding, you know, some of their major efforts. So, uh, my question to
00:25:43.440
you would, would be Roger. One, do you think that's accurate? And two, uh, what about the viability of
00:25:47.960
this woman as a vice president, presidential candidate in general? I mean, does she have
00:25:52.200
any qualifications that would, that would lead us to believe that she's capable of serving as
00:25:56.720
vice president of the United States? Well, the good news toys, I don't think we're going to have
00:26:01.640
to worry about that because she's not going to be vice president. Uh, you know, I'll tell you what's
00:26:05.260
interesting. I have only met RFK one time in my life. Uh, I met him, uh, we both spoke at a seminar.
00:26:12.560
I believe it was in California. Uh, and, uh, I had my picture taken with him, a picture that
00:26:17.900
is now ubiquitous on social media. Uh, no, I did not urge him to run. No, I'm not advising his
00:26:25.440
campaign. No, I'm not supporting him. I do think his position against, uh, a big pharma is courageous,
00:26:32.060
uh, and I admire it. Uh, but that's kind of where our political commonality ends. Yet, if you go online,
00:26:41.200
you can see that Roger Stone and Steve Bannon were very close political associates, as you know,
00:26:46.960
uh, teamed up to urge him to run. Uh, this is a fantasy of the, of the left. But what's interesting
00:26:53.800
is suddenly the Democrats have figured out that with the selection of Shanahan, uh, Robert Kennedy
00:27:01.620
is no longer an obstacle for Donald Trump. If anything, Robert Kennedy has just become an
00:27:07.200
obstacle for Joe Biden. The Democrats, uh, have just unleashed a multimillion dollar effort
00:27:14.000
run by a woman named Liss Smith. He's not terribly capable, uh, to try to knock him off the ballot
00:27:21.500
legally wherever they can, uh, and also attack him as, uh, some kind of a third column, I should say
00:27:29.180
fifth column, uh, for Donald Trump, which he most definitely is not. And they point to this fake
00:27:36.720
association. Once again, guilt by association is one of the most, one of the favorite techniques
00:27:42.700
of the left. So the fact that I met this guy once, uh, at a public, uh, event, uh, that has been
00:27:51.020
turned into, Oh, Stone is running his campaign. It's, it's really, really laughable. Uh, you know,
00:27:58.400
he's a compelling speaker despite his, his, the disorder, uh, that affects his voice. And he's also
00:28:04.700
a spirited debater, but in all honesty, I think his belief that he's going to get into a debate
00:28:12.000
with Donald Trump and Joe Biden is unfounded. I don't think in the end that's going to happen,
00:28:17.960
but the criteria at a minimum should be, does he get on the ballot in enough States to theoretically
00:28:25.080
get 270 electoral votes? So when everybody asks me, how's he going to do, or where do his votes come
00:28:32.260
from? Or who does he take votes from? I always answer the question with a question. Will he really
00:28:37.720
get on the ballot right now? He's on the ballot in four States. So, uh, to me, that's still the
00:28:45.600
biggest question. We may be wasting our breath here entirely. If he doesn't demonstrate the ability
00:28:51.620
to get on the ballot, uh, those deadlines really start to come pretty quickly here in June,
00:28:58.100
as late as July, but this surprise running mate underwhelms. I expected someone who was a public
00:29:06.620
figure, someone with less of an, of a, of a record of being a hard left progressive. We're going to
00:29:13.720
have to take a quick commercial break here. And then when we get back, we're going to talk about
00:29:18.480
the stunning and I think bewildering decision, uh, uh, on the holiest of holy days to declare not
00:29:26.680
Easter, but to, first of all, uh, limit, uh, and, uh, and rule out any religious themes around the
00:29:36.080
traditional Easter egg hunt at the White House, but also to declare Easter the holiest holy days
00:29:44.260
for Christians, the day that Jesus Christ rose from the dead as transgendered visibility day. We're
00:29:51.740
going to talk about that when we get back right after this message.
00:30:01.260
Hi neighbor, Pat Boone here today. I want to help you find some peace of mind concerning your money.
00:30:08.680
Like it or not, we're all living in a financial war zone. That's right. We're watching our hard
00:30:14.340
earned dollars get crushed by inflation. In fact, recently inflation reached its highest level in 40 years.
00:30:21.600
And on top of that cash, which has always represented freedom and privacy is more and
00:30:27.120
more being replaced by a cashless system. That's right. Powerful forces are definitely waging a war
00:30:34.060
against cash. So I'm encouraging you to prepare before it's too late call or text the number on
00:30:40.700
the screen for a free report, the secret war on cash from Swiss America. Discover how a few simple
00:30:47.480
steps can protect your money as well as your privacy and your peace of mind. So call or text for your
00:30:54.120
free report, the secret war on cash, and make sure to mention Pat Boone sent you.
00:31:01.160
We've learned through the pandemic, we can never be caught unprepared again. And so many Americans when
00:31:07.400
COVID hit, they had nothing in the house. Stores were shut down and doctors' offices were shut down.
00:31:13.480
And even if doctors prescribed drugs, hydroxychloroquine, ivermectin, pharmacists wouldn't
00:31:18.440
fill the prescriptions. That was a nightmare. Now the situation is much worse. We have these horrible
00:31:25.480
supply chain problems. In our emergency medical kit at the wellness company, we have eight prescription
00:31:33.480
drugs that are all potentially life saving. Most people have died with COVID. They died in the hospital
00:31:40.360
because they didn't receive early treatment. Every American family should have one of these.
00:31:53.480
I can tell you the wellness company kit is the answer.
00:32:10.360
Welcome back, folks. If you're just tuning in, this is the Stone Zone, and I'm your host, Roger Stone. With
00:32:19.560
me, my usual co-host, Troy Smith, the editor-in-chief at Slingshot.news. If you're not subscribing to
00:32:28.120
Slingshot.news, let me urge you to do so. It costs nothing, but you will get cutting-edge information about
00:32:36.280
what's happening regarding the presidential campaign as well as a lot of interesting
00:32:41.400
pop culture news that most people don't get. So I strongly urge you to go to Slingshot.news.
00:32:48.200
While you're at it, though, go to StoneZone.com, StoneZone.com. You can see all of our Stone Zone shows in the archive there.
00:32:58.440
You can also pick up the WABC radio show that I do every Sunday from 4 to 6 o'clock Eastern.
00:33:08.680
They're also all archived there. This past weekend was a great show. I had Mike Davis of the former U.S. Senate
00:33:19.480
Judiciary Committee Senior Counsel talking about the upcoming New York City trial of Donald Trump.
00:33:30.840
I also had Jack Posobiec of Human Events looking into the horrific accident in Maryland surrounding the Scott
00:33:40.760
Francis Scott Key Bridge. Some really, really great interviews there. You can find them now at
00:33:48.920
StoneZone.com. So, Troy, what's the Biden White House thinking here?
00:33:57.640
You know, Roger, it's a good question. And, you know, just before we get into this segment,
00:34:01.960
I want to point out, you know, I was kind of in my head this morning going through the entire
00:34:06.760
Biden administration because, you know, I was watching MSNBC this morning and I was listening
00:34:12.920
to the misinformation and the lies, and I was just kind of putting it together in my head and say,
00:34:16.600
okay, you know, as a whole, is there anything positive, a single positive you could point to
00:34:22.280
when it comes to the Biden administration? I can't. I can't. And here's the thing about the points
00:34:27.800
that the media talks about with Biden. They say the economy's great. The economy's not great. The
00:34:33.560
economy is terrible. And most people are struggling to afford things like groceries. And then you have this,
00:34:41.160
like, weird situation with Easter, Roger, where they declare it the day of trans visibility. Now,
00:34:49.480
I just want to ask you, Roger, politically, that has got to be the dumbest move I've ever heard
00:34:55.000
politically. Am I wrong in stating that? I mean, it just seems unbelievable that we would have a
00:34:59.400
situation where the White House, I mean, how many trans people are there in the United States? Maybe 1% of
00:35:05.160
the population. And not only that, but there's a far greater percentage of people, even on the left,
00:35:10.120
who were insulted by him basically disgracing the holiest of days, Easter. Can you explain to me
00:35:16.760
what in the hell these people were thinking politically doing something like that?
00:35:21.000
You know, Troy, I really can't. I noticed on social media that each individual member of the Biden
00:35:27.720
cabinet, in lockstep, they all were hailing this as some great declaration, Secretary of State in the
00:35:37.000
Blinken, a man who is trying to push the country into World War III, the man who canceled any peace
00:35:44.680
talks surrounding the Russia-Ukraine situation. He thinks this transgendered declaration is the greatest
00:35:52.840
thing since sliced bread. And then, of course, Admiral Rachel Levine. I mean, that's just weird.
00:35:59.880
There's no other way to describe it. The Democratic Party used to be the party of working class people,
00:36:06.760
and they won elections in this country because they had a large, blue collar, mostly Catholic
00:36:12.600
constituency in the swing states. Over time, of course, those voters have moved occasionally to
00:36:20.280
Republican candidates. They came back to vote for Bill Clinton. Some of them even voted for Barack
00:36:26.360
Obama, some of them. It looks to me like the Democrats are seeking to just boot that constituency
00:36:33.960
entirely. So this is such a fringe issue. And the controversy of doing it on Easter weekend,
00:36:44.200
it really boggles the mind. Now add to it this idea that in the traditional White House Easter egg hunt,
00:36:55.880
your Easter eggs cannot have any even vaguely religious theme. Well, what do they think Easter is
00:37:02.120
about? Why is Easter a holiday? Why are we having an Easter egg roll? The whole purpose of this holiday
00:37:10.360
holiday is to celebrate the resurrection of Jesus Christ. That's the purpose of the holiday.
00:37:16.760
But if you said that at the Easter egg hunt, they'd probably throw you out in the street.
00:37:23.240
Well, and here's the thing, Roger. I was baptized Catholic, and it has never been a religious
00:37:30.720
thing with my family. I mean, it's never been a religious Easter ceremony. While we do believe,
00:37:36.520
it's not, you know, I think it's an opportunity for millions of Americans, whether they're religious
00:37:41.080
or not, to come together and, you know, have a meal together and to associate with each other and to
00:37:48.600
talk. And sometimes, you know, for families, that's a huge thing. That is a massive thing. So I would
00:37:55.400
point out that on top of the religious aspect, which is a total, just makes no sense. The idea that they
00:38:02.920
would attach something that is so controversial and political to a day that for millions is about
00:38:09.160
the religion, but for others is about, you know, coming together as a family. I don't see where
00:38:15.160
any benefit, and especially to the trans people, because, you know, it's almost like the Biden
00:38:21.160
administration yesterday painted a huge target on all the trans people in this country's back,
00:38:27.800
because they made them the enemy of Easter. The trans people had, you know, and I understand,
00:38:32.680
you know, there's a lot of people say, oh, this is a satanic thing. And who knows, you know,
00:38:39.080
with the transgenders, it's a case by case basis. But my point is, they didn't all get together and
00:38:43.880
say, hey, you know, let's make this trans visibility. That was the Biden White House.
00:38:48.380
So for a group of people that spends all their time talking about being persecuted,
00:38:52.140
the trans people talk about being attacked and trans murders and things like that,
00:38:55.600
it would appear to me, Roger, that the Biden administration making this Easter,
00:39:00.900
the day of trans visibility, was almost throwing these people that they're claiming to support and
00:39:07.100
they're claiming to have a voice for under the bus and making them a target for millions of people.
00:39:13.320
Am I wrong in saying that? No, I think you're absolutely right. I noticed in some of these videos,
00:39:19.200
and we'll throw the first one up, Biden seems to be having a hard time. He's really slurring
00:39:24.420
as he tries to get this tripe out of his mouth. Let's take a look at that.
00:39:31.840
Well, what's so special is this is the people's house. And you expect over 40,000 people to be
00:39:38.340
here. It's the largest ever. And it's just, we just like to open it up to places that people see
00:39:45.060
Is that Adderall? What is that? I can't figure out what that is.
00:39:50.720
That is unbelievable, Roger. And that's the funniest part about I think this whole thing
00:39:55.180
is that you have a move with the trans visibility thing that is so politically just doesn't make
00:40:00.320
even any sense. It's incoherent. All of the Biden administration officials are pushing it out like
00:40:05.420
they thought it was this grandiose idea. And the messenger of this whole insane thing is that
00:40:12.020
this guy can't even talk. We had another clip, Roger, of him during the same interview where
00:40:17.040
he was talking about the economy. And he's trying to make a point. He really doesn't make a point.
00:40:23.900
When people are saying, you know, but Mr. President, I'm feeling, I'm feeling, you know,
00:40:27.720
my buck isn't going as far. What do you say to those folks about the economy and what's going on?
00:40:32.440
Well, I say we have the best economy in the world. We've got to make it better. We really do have
00:40:36.220
the best economy in the world. Jobs are up more than they've ever been. We're in a situation
00:40:41.140
where the lowest unemployment rate in 50 years is maintained. We have people who just put people
00:40:46.480
look, I think we're going to find out that what happened is a consequence of the crisis we had
00:40:52.740
in health is have a lasting effect. And we just got to get people to move again. We're ready. I mean,
00:41:00.180
I think the country's ready to come together in a way that I've never I mean that sincerely. I'm
00:41:05.320
truly optimistic. Whenever Joe Biden says, I mean that sincerely. That's how you can tell he's lying.
00:41:13.400
These these employment statistics are, as I pointed out before, completely manipulated. Yeah,
00:41:19.300
we have the lowest unemployment in our history. If you don't count the seven hundred and eighty
00:41:24.900
five thousand people who stopped looking for work in December, or if you don't count the roughly two
00:41:29.500
million people who stopped looking for work last year. And then, of course, you have to take
00:41:33.820
into consideration the seasonal adjustments. Barry Habib, one of the most respected economic
00:41:40.320
analysts, a real expert on both housing and the mortgage market, makes a case that the real
00:41:45.740
unemployment rate is probably closer to twenty three, maybe as high as twenty eight a percent.
00:41:52.240
And obviously, inflation does not come into Joe's calculation here. Inflation is the worst that
00:41:59.720
we've seen in decades. And of course, that's eroding the buying power of the dollar. People feel that they
00:42:07.800
see it when they go to the grocery store. And I would also point out to Troy, notice how gasoline prices
00:42:15.340
are creeping up again. So that temporary fix of dipping into the strategic petroleum reserves prior to
00:42:23.800
the last election to try to beat back the red wave, which I accurately predicted would turn out to be a
00:42:31.240
pink drizzle, is wearing off. So now we have a we have a vulnerability in that the reserves have been
00:42:38.780
drawn down and they can't really pull this trick twice. Stone's prediction, gasoline will hit four dollars
00:42:46.600
a gallon before the next election. Bookmark that. You'll see. So, you know, they don't have anything
00:42:52.840
else to run on other than attacking Donald Trump. We have to attack Donald Trump. We talked about this
00:42:59.780
a couple of days ago. They they love the the the wrap up smear. That's when they take something that's false,
00:43:08.120
feed it to one of their allies in the free media, get them to publish it or broadcast it and then point to it and say,
00:43:15.700
yeah, you see, there's the proof that it's true. We actually had Nancy Pelosi. We caught her in a video
00:43:21.820
bragging about this technique they use to smear Donald Trump. We're going to go to a quick commercial
00:43:28.280
break and then we're going to continue this discussion of everything that happened politically
00:43:32.660
last week right here on the Stone Zone. Stand by for a word from our sponsors.
00:43:50.560
She called me today and she told me something and I said, you have got to tell the audience this.
00:43:57.640
They need to hear this because it's really good news for those of you that, well, are taking Bella Grace.
00:44:02.700
Well, I went to my hairdresser and I had not told her about this product that I've been taking when
00:44:07.660
she was blow drawing my hair. She said, you I just noticed when I was parting your hair and
00:44:11.840
fixing it that you have a bunch of new hair growth. I've been going to this lady for
00:44:16.260
probably 13 years and she's never said that to me and I had noticed it but for the fact that she
00:44:22.660
the fact that she noticed it was I had to call Bran right away and tell him she just said,
00:44:26.900
you've never had this like this and it's growing and you just have all these baby hairs growing in
00:44:30.660
and they're kind of curly. And so I just told her that what I was taking and she was amazed.
00:45:58.180

You can also see us by going to Rumble.com slash Roger Stone.
00:46:22.040
But the best place to get everything Roger Stone is, of course, StoneZone.com.
00:46:30.980
Let's go back to our political discussion with Troy Smith, the editor-in-chief of Slingshot.news.
00:46:39.720
As always, it's an honor to be here in the Stone Zone.
00:46:42.240
And I wanted to end this show off where we're talking about Biden's health.
00:46:46.220
Now, we have a couple clips that I want to run because it's just been a disastrous couple days for the president.
00:46:52.220
We have a clip of him talking about the Easter bunnies and actually saying the Oyster bunnies.
00:46:58.780
And we also have a clip of Jill Biden and a couple of Easter bunny handlers bringing Biden out of the White House.
00:47:07.040
And I'm coming down to do that Easter egg roll in just a minute.
00:48:11.640
Well, and it's, you know, the weirdest thing to me, Roger, is that after the last State of the Union, the media has kind of taken the position that the questions about Biden's health are over.
00:48:21.160
Now, I wanted to ask you about this politically, Roger, because to my knowledge and to what I see, the questions about Biden's health have actually gotten worse.
00:48:28.800
The State of the Union speech that the media seems to claim was some kind of major victory for President Biden because he was hyped up on Adderall and screaming.
00:48:36.820
I don't think that that was some kind of great showing for Biden's mental health.
00:48:40.300
No, I think the purpose of that, Troy, internally, where I think he's got many Democrats who are now petrified that he's going to take the whole ticket down in November was to show that he's strong and vibrant.
00:48:54.520
To me, he just looked angry and extraordinarily confused.
00:49:01.640
What I do find amusing is that on X, which used to be known as Twitter, he keeps challenging Donald Trump to a round of golf.
00:49:13.680
I don't think I mean, and Joe Biden is biting off a bit more than he can chew.
00:49:26.460
It's interesting that in every campaign he's run, he's always threatened a physical attack against his opponent.
00:49:34.360
When he ran for the U.S. Senate in Delaware against John Burris, who was a trucking executive and company owner, he threatened to take Burris out behind this high school gym and thrash him.
00:49:46.480
And Burris outweighed Biden by probably 60 pounds and was much younger, would have destroyed him.
00:49:53.360
He threatened Donald Trump on numerous occasions.
00:49:58.760
Who is it who advocates an attack on their physical attack on their opponent?
00:50:11.600
Unfortunately for him, based on the latest polling, the voters are not sharing that view.
00:50:18.320
So the questions about his cognitive ability are going to continue.
00:50:22.720
Remember, he's the one who said, am I up to this?
00:50:28.000
He kept saying, well, we are watching him and it's not going very well.
00:50:34.620
You see him there on the balcony with obviously two members of his cabinet or whoever those two people were in the rabbit costumes.
00:50:46.680
Her job, I think, is to keep him under control.
00:50:53.340
And the the worst thing about this, and I'd love to get your perspective on this because you've seen it from both ends.
00:50:58.900
Biden is an angry, vindictive person, and that's evident, I think, in anybody that watches him speak.
00:51:07.800
We remember him screaming at Peter Doocy during that press conference where he was discussing the her report, which the her report said, you know, we're not prosecuting the guy because he is a confused old man with bad memory.
00:51:24.460
So, you know, I think as he's he's very vindictive, he's very angry, he's screaming at people, and yet he gets a pass from the media for for what he does.
00:51:35.860
And yet you contrast that with Ronald Reagan, who I think even people who, you know, didn't like Reagan politically would acknowledge that he was a great spokesman for the country.
00:51:45.360
He was a good meaning, well-intentioned human being.
00:51:48.700
And I think that's evident in all of his speeches and watching him.
00:51:53.380
Can you compare and contrast the treatment of Biden and Reagan and how they've kind of given a pass to Biden where Reagan, they looked for something that wasn't even there?
00:52:03.140
Yeah, this idea that Reagan was slipping at the end of his second term, I saw no evidence of it.
00:52:09.260
His decline was relatively swift after he left office.
00:52:13.620
He was also very public about it with the American people.
00:52:19.180
But the attacks on Trump every single day, no matter what he does, are extraordinary.
00:52:33.340
There was one poll, a Quinnipiac poll, that showed Biden ahead of Trump's.
00:52:38.420
The only one within a series of polls taken in the time in the same time frame.
00:52:51.660
I'd have to examine the whole poll to tell you.
00:52:54.260
But when there are four or five polls taken within the same time frame and all of them show approximately the same thing and only one of them shows something different, you have some kind of flaw.
00:53:06.720
Now, if we start to get a spate of polls that show Biden pulling ahead, that would be different.
00:53:12.540
But I don't think based on what's going on in the country, that's going to happen.
00:53:18.320
Again, this performance at the RKO Music Hall juxtaposed with Donald Trump going to the wake of a New York City police officer who was killed by a violent thug who had been arrested 21 times, been put back out on the street by the liberal bail policies of New York State.
00:53:43.660
The juxtaposing that with Obama, Clinton and Biden at a high dollar fat cat fundraiser at RKO Music Hall did not serve them well either at all.
00:54:00.900
But what was most interesting about that, Troy, was not what was going on inside, but what was going on outside the Radio City Music Hall.
00:54:09.560
Those demonstrators, and there were many of them, they weren't Republicans, they're not conservatives, they're progressive leftist Democrats who were upset with genocide Joe.
00:54:21.980
There's a deep cleavage in their party, and I think it is one of the things that explains these weak polling results that we're looking at.
00:54:31.640
Well, and on top of that, Roger, I would say, you know, Trump is, and I'd love to hear your thoughts on this as well.
00:54:39.320
I've always thought that Trump is a better outsider candidate, and the further his pitch as an outsider is, the further outside he appears to be, the better his appeal is.
00:54:50.540
And I think that in 2016, there was a lot of people who went into the ballot box and they said, you know, a vote for this guy is a vote against the establishment.
00:54:59.400
And I don't care where he comes from. I don't care who he is. He's a FU to the system.
00:55:05.300
And I thought in 2020, it was hard to make that pitch because he was president. He was president of the United States.
00:55:12.420
So the outsider pitch, while, you know, he still had his support, and I think he had way more support in 2020 than he did in 2016, it was a different kind of support.
00:55:21.880
And now in 2024, I see similarities more to 2016 than to 2020. Interested to hear your thoughts on that.
00:55:29.140
I do think things are substantially different because now you have the Trump record to compare directly with the Biden record.
00:55:42.160
People will not remember this, but Biden was supposed to bring civility back to our politics.
00:55:48.380
Biden made this promise that he he could reach across the aisle and work with Republicans.
00:55:53.320
Instead, he's done nothing but vilify Republicans and the authoritarian nature of his presidency, I think, is abundantly clear.
00:56:03.140
The idea that the FBI is now visiting people to question about things they posted on Facebook.
00:56:10.820
This is almost unbelievable. I mean, it's actually hard to believe.
00:56:15.540
Or that the federal government is pushing Google to give to them a list of email addresses and URLs for those who may have looked at certain things online.
00:56:30.740
I mean, Big Brother has really been unleashed in a way we've never seen before in this country.
00:56:38.540
If we have a free, fair, honest election, I still believe that Trump will win.
00:56:44.980
Now, whether or not that happens remains to be seen.
00:56:49.580
The biggest single problem, I read a great piece on this this weekend, are the people on the voting rolls who don't really exist or have moved or have died or who are not eligible or who registered to vote from a post office box.
00:57:03.200
Now, the courts generally won't allow you to take people off the rolls, but they will allow election officials to remove those who have bad addresses.
00:57:13.040
This week, we're going to have Lou Maron from the Florida Republican Assembly on because he and his colleagues have developed a terrific program to identify bad addresses and then take that list in a cooperative way to election board officials to have those folks removed.
00:57:32.980
In Florida, in Florida, in Florida, which has 67 counties, 62 counties have been completely cooperative.
00:57:41.260
Oh, the largest counties that are dominated by Democrats.
00:57:45.680
The Republican National Committee is going to need a major effort to get non-voters, people with bad addresses, off the voter rolls.
00:57:57.260
This is something we're going to talk about here on the Stone Zone later in the week.
00:58:03.180
Troy, we're just about at the end here, so I'm going to wrap this up.
00:58:10.100
Also, I want to remind you yet again that we are brought to you by the great folks at MyPillow.com.
00:58:25.580
It doesn't matter whether it's the dynamic new MyPillow 2.0 or the absorbent bath towels or the famous bed sheets or the dog beds or the pet blankets.
00:58:40.980
There are many, many great products at MyPillow.com.
00:58:44.580
And when you go there, you're supporting us here at the Stone Zone.
00:58:47.900
You're also supporting that great patriot, Mike Lindell.
00:58:51.680
So please go by there and do a little shopping.
00:58:59.320
On behalf of myself and my co-host, Troy Smith, we say God bless you and Godspeed.
00:59:05.520
A man who's gone through hell, but he's kept going and he's smart and he's strong and people love him.
00:59:15.000
Not everybody, but people love him and respect him.
