00:01:09.960 who volunteered at Ground Zero after 9-11.
00:01:12.380 He later enlisted and deployed to Iraq, where he made the ultimate sacrifice.
00:01:16.280 Nelson was killed by a rocket-propelled grenade, leaving his wife, Mecca, and daughter.
00:01:20.520 Tallent Towers honored the sacrifice by providing the Nelson family

00:01:41.860 This is the Stone Zone with Roger Stone.
00:01:45.420 People love him and respect him.
00:01:46.840 Roger Stone.
00:01:48.040 Now, get in the zone.
00:01:49.840 It's the Stone Zone.
00:01:51.760 Here's Roger Stone.
00:01:53.180 You are now jumping headfirst into the Stone Zone.
00:01:57.780 Well, former U.S. Special Counsel Jack Smith, the progenitor of the second greatest dirty trick and abuse of power in American history,
00:02:07.860 the so-called Arctic Frost investigation, which was nothing less than an effort to destroy Donald Trump's chances of returning to the White House,
00:02:16.700 appeared before the U.S. Senate today as part of the ongoing investigation
00:02:21.140 into the largest abuse of power, probably other than the Mueller investigation,
00:02:26.680 which took place during his investigations into President Donald Trump
00:02:30.940 under former President Joe Biden and former Attorney General Merrick Garland.
00:02:36.840 Smith, you'll recall, led the charge in the phony witch hunt against President Trump
00:02:42.100 heading into the 2024 election, overseeing an illegal and abhorrent raid on the president's
00:02:48.560 home at Mar-a-Lago, his palatial estate in Palm Beach, which doubles as a private club,
00:02:54.640 over so-called classified documents in the president's possession. Documents which I
00:02:59.980 point on under the Presidential Records Act, President Donald Trump had every lawful right
00:03:05.380 to possess. What is it that Jack Smith and his confederates were so desperate to get their hands
00:03:11.200 on. Was it proof that the Mueller investigation was in fact a complete and total hoax? That was
00:03:18.380 essentially proven by the director of national intelligence, Tulsi Gabbard, who interestingly
00:03:23.620 enough was seen visiting the White House this week. I wonder what that was all about. As you
00:03:29.840 know, Tulsi Gabbard has stepped aside because her husband came down with a very, very rare form of
00:03:35.560 cancer that was extraordinarily debilitating, and she chose to put family first. As soon as she
00:03:41.160 returns to public service, well, the happier I will be. Jack Smith's raid of Mar-a-Lago consists of
00:03:47.940 the lawless and unspeakable acts of government overreach and intimidation. It turns out the FBI
00:03:54.200 officials who raided the place tried to tell Jack Smith first that they didn't think there was
00:03:59.600 sufficient probable cause for the raid, but they were ordered by the Justice Department
00:04:05.560 go ahead anyway. They went through the closets and the draws of First Lady Melania Trump,
00:04:11.300 as well as going and tearing apart the bedroom of first son, Barron Trump. I understand this level
00:04:17.080 of violation. The FBI went through my wife's underwear draws when they raided my home back in
00:04:24.620 2019. Smith ignored the fact that then President Joe Biden's illegal disclosure to classified
00:04:31.160 documents to his ghost authors while serving as vice president, a position which, by the way,
00:04:36.980 does not grant him the disclosure authority nor the right to retain those documents. That can only
00:04:43.140 be done by a president. Joe Biden actually had classified documents from his time as a U.S.
00:04:49.300 senator and vice president and disclosed them at that time in violation of the law. But of course,
00:04:55.700 Biden was not prosecuted. President Donald Trump was. Therefore, the the charging of Donald Trump,
00:05:03.780 by definition, was illegal. It was a complete and totally fabricated charge heading into a
00:05:09.580 presidential election. I believe more importantly, it was part of a cover up. In other words,
00:05:14.460 I think Jack Smith was desperate to get the documented proof about the origins of the
00:05:20.120 Mueller investigation, which was in itself, as I say, a witch hunt. In his opening statement to
00:05:26.220 the U.S. Senate, Smith laughingly told senators that he has no partisan loyalties. We revealed
00:05:31.940 right here in the Stone Zone years ago that Smith's wives had donated to President Joe Biden
00:05:36.540 prior to his appointment as special counsel. If political donations aren't a sign of partisanship,
00:05:41.940 what is? He was also a longtime friend of the single most corrupt, sadistic, and evil 0.98
00:05:48.920 federal prosecutor in U.S. history, Andrew Weissman. They worked together in New York.
00:05:54.960 Now, I would say Jack Smith was a hyper-partisan. Without any question, he was a foot soldier for
00:06:01.220 the deep state. His wife, by the way, also donated to the radical congresswoman and member of the
00:06:06.960 squad, Rashida Tlaib, who also happens to be one of the worst dressed members of Congress.
00:06:12.820 When you look for my international worst dressed list, which I publish every New Year's Day, 0.86
00:06:17.360 as I have for the last 16 years, you can look for Rashida Tlaib. 1.00
00:06:22.000 She'll definitely be on the list.
00:06:24.680 Smith went on to falsely claim that he and his investigators, quote,
00:06:28.960 developed proof beyond a reasonable doubt that President Trump engaged in a series of serious crimes against our nation.
00:06:36.420 Classic deflection, in my opinion.
00:06:39.120 Smith's being called to the Senate, he was called today, not because of the success of his investigation,
00:06:44.200 which ended up yielding zero evidence of any wrongdoing on behalf of President Trump,
00:06:50.200 but because the investigation was found by the U.S. Senate to be blatantly and openly partisan,
00:06:55.720 devoid of any fact or probable cause, and an outrageous abuse of power.
00:07:01.740 Jack Smith, at the behest of Merrick Garland and Joe Biden,
00:07:06.380 used the full authority of the Department of Justice to wage war on their chief political rival,
00:07:11.620 President Donald Trump, who led polling throughout his candidacy in 2024, having launched his
00:07:17.140 campaign particularly early in late 2022. As for the documents case, President Trump had the
00:07:24.000 authority, as I said, to declassify the documents in question. He also had the right to possess the
00:07:30.480 documents in question. Under the Presidential Records Act, he had the full legal authority to
00:07:34.940 handle and store them in any way he saw fit. At the same time, there's ample evidence that Trump
00:07:41.160 and his lawyers were cooperating with the National Archives in their efforts to get their hands on
00:07:46.860 these documents. Why? Because they were the smoking gun that proved that Barack Obama and his cabal
00:07:53.140 tried to take Donald Trump down in the Russian collusion hoax. The Senate is now focusing on
00:07:59.280 the partisanship of Smith's team that led to the bogus charges against President Donald Trump
00:08:04.000 during the 2024 election. Their findings to this point indicate a 1984 level of coordination to
00:08:10.680 quash President Trump's campaign in its infancy, an attempt that backfired spectacularly to say the
00:08:17.440 least. The Senate is also now delving into Jack Smith's team's potentially illegal handling of
00:08:23.380 classified documents themselves. You see, while Jack Smith relentlessly pursued Trump for allegedly
00:08:29.240 mishandling classified documents after leaving office, behind the scenes, members of his own
00:08:34.580 investigative team committed the very same offenses that they accused Trump of as early as
00:08:40.180 July of 2023. Disclosures show they granted access to classified information without
00:08:46.420 verifying the need to know, including instances where unauthorized investigators were given
00:08:51.840 full access to classified information. Separately, internal communications show Smith's team failed
00:08:58.680 to properly track classified materials moved inside what they call a SCIF. That's a secure
00:09:05.120 facility in which classified documents can be viewed by appropriate members of the executive
00:09:10.860 branch or certain members of the Congress. Most alarmingly, they left a secure facility
00:09:16.380 unsecured and accessible completely overnight, possibly longer, an incident that was internally
00:09:24.160 flagged as a formal violation and an incident on informal records. On April 19, 2024, one member
00:09:33.160 noted no one closed it the day before carly rodriguez fao responded that's a violation
00:09:40.400 in an incident so i need to know the details the exchange also highlighted limited oversight stating
00:09:46.340 now that raskin and brett are gone i'm very limited in the help with oversight i wonder
00:09:52.620 what they meant by that one message from august goes so far as to ask if jack smith is assistant
00:09:58.160 less. Smith also allegedly worked to obtain text communications from 44 members of Congress,
00:10:04.980 potentially leading to questions about further political digging done throughout this investigation
00:10:09.620 by Smith at the behest of the Democrat Party. Think about that for a moment. Jack Smith was
00:10:15.460 illegally spying on and surveilling the text and email communications of 44 elected members of
00:10:22.140 Congress. If that doesn't meet the definition of overreach, I don't know what does. The evidence
00:10:29.360 released on July 14th of 2026 revealed that Smith's team secretly obtained and reviewed
00:10:35.740 text messages involving 44 current and former members of Congress. The communications were
00:10:42.300 pulled from a June 2nd, 2023 request by senior Smith prosecutor Thomas Windham to the National
00:10:49.880 Archives and Records Administration, also known as NARA, for White House text messages covering
00:10:55.360 the period from October 2020 through January 20 of 2021. NARA delivered those materials on August
00:11:03.080 21, 2023, weeks after Trump's initial indictment of President Donald Trump. Within minutes of
00:11:11.300 NARA's delivery at 12.19 p.m., Senior Smith Prosecutor Thomas Wyndham had already downloaded
00:11:18.260 the spreadsheets containing the texts. By 12.24 p.m., he emailed the team to do the same, and by
00:11:24.200 1.02 p.m., he was sharing specific excerpts, completely bypassing the filter team as required
00:11:31.340 by law. Records further show that Jack Smith's team planned to turn some of these materials over
00:11:37.580 in pre-trial discovery to Trump's legal team, raising questions about potential mishandling
00:11:42.260 and strategic use of the improperly accessed communications.
00:11:46.740 Now, these protocols were designed to protect congressional communications.
00:11:52.080 The speech or debate clause privileges, attorney general client privilege,
00:11:57.480 pardon me, attorney client privilege, and sensitive materials.
00:12:01.240 The messages included exchanges, for example, between lawmakers and senior Trump officials,
00:12:05.640 including the chief of staff of Mark Meadows, presidential assistant Dan Scavino,
00:12:10.640 presidential daughter Ivanka Trump, deputy chief of staff Stephen Miller, special trade
00:12:18.340 deputy Peter Navarro, and many others. The topics focused on the certification of electoral votes
00:12:24.580 and post-election challenges. The disclosure has also prompted Republican lawmakers to condemn
00:12:31.040 Smith and his team for what they described as outright spying and unauthorized surveillance
00:12:37.060 on members of Congress.
00:12:39.540 This makes Watergate look like a milk-fed puppy.
00:12:43.060 Grassley, Senator Chuck Grassley of Iowa,
00:12:45.620 and Ron Johnson of Wisconsin both went further,
00:12:49.320 accusing Smith's team of deliberately bypassing
00:12:51.900 all of the standard filter team review protocols
00:12:56.300 that have been established for Project Coconut,
00:12:59.300 the January 6th investigation,
00:13:01.500 and Project Cranberry, that's the Mar-a-Lago documents case.
00:13:05.240 They described the actions as a serious violation of established investigative procedures and an unconstitutional intrusion into the duties of elected officials.
00:13:16.280 Jack Smith's criminal investigation of President Trump was a runaway train that had no brakes, according to Senator Chuck Grassley of Iowa.
00:13:24.600 Biden's DOJ and the FBI investigators apparently ignored their own routine investigative protocols to obtain and review work-related messages from me, so that would be Senator Grassley, and dozens of his Republican and Democrat colleagues.
00:13:39.800 Smith's team ran roughshod over the U.S. Constitution.
00:13:43.700 That was what Senator Chuck Grassley of Iowa said.
00:13:46.440 Grassley, who was chairman of the Senate Judiciary Committee, said he intends to bring Smith before the Senate Judiciary Committee again for accountability and to answer for the unconstitutional intrusion into the affairs of various elected members of Congress.
00:14:01.200 This is yet another grotesque example of the Biden administration's weaponization of the Justice Department.
00:14:07.840 Senator Ron Johnson of Wisconsin said Jack Smith's team acted with impunity.
00:14:12.240 No one should be shocked by Jack Smith's recklessness and his blatant abuse of power.
00:14:17.680 But wait, folks, that's not all.
00:14:20.140 Attorney General Todd Blanche has said that many of the documents that were being thrown out by Biden's DOJ's officer
00:14:26.300 prior to Trump taking office involving Jack Smith have now been recovered.
00:14:31.200 Blanche says the Justice Department has discovered a room filled with important documents tied to former special counsel Jack Smith's investigation into President Donald Trump that were evidently thought to have been destroyed or hidden prior to Trump becoming president again.
00:14:45.260 Speaking on a podcast, Blanche said that the room was technically not secret, but the DOJ personnel seemed to be completely unaware of it.
00:14:53.480 If you're just tuning in, I'm Roger Stone. You're listening to The Stone Zone. We'll be right back with more of the illicit tale about Jack Smith and the second greatest political dirty trick in American history.
00:15:04.880 This is The Stone Zone with Roger Stone.
00:15:08.480 He likes politics and he's a professional at the highest level. Roger Stone.
00:15:23.480 The Stone Zone. Entertaining and informative.
00:15:27.360 On the Red Apple Podcast Network.
00:15:39.320 This is The Stone Zone with Roger Stone.
00:15:43.100 Roger Stone, who's a very, very, one of the smartest political minds.
00:15:47.000 Roger Stone was persecuted. People forget he's actually a brilliant, brilliant political analyst.
00:15:51.120 Now, get in the zone. It's the Stone Zone. Here's Roger Stone.
00:15:57.540 And you're back in the Stone Zone.
00:15:59.700 I have just broken the news that Attorney General Todd Blanche says that many of the documents that were obtained by Special Counsel Jack Smith
00:16:11.860 and his illegal and unconstitutional efforts to take down President Donald Trump and prevent him from returning to the White House
00:16:19.440 that were thought to have been destroyed or lost have been recovered and found. Blanche says there
00:16:25.840 was a special room at the Justice Department filled with important documents tied to the
00:16:31.440 Smith investigation into President Trump. Blanche did say in a podcast interview that the DOJ
00:16:38.500 personnel were unaware of the existence of this special room. He said the materials were found
00:16:43.640 in burn bags, which normally are used to destroy sensitive documents. This is the second time this
00:16:49.660 has happened. FBI Director Kash Patel said that when he took office, he found a special room
00:16:56.420 with burn bags full of documents having to do with the Russian collusion hoax. Blanche said
00:17:03.160 the location of the bags raised serious questions. Why were these documents not burned? That's one
00:17:08.980 question. He also floated a theory that an honorable agent may have placed them someplace
00:17:13.180 unusual to preserve the records rather than to let them be destroyed to cover up Jack Smith's
00:17:19.380 trail of illegal activities. Discovery, of course, follows, as I said, comments from FBI Director
00:17:25.160 Kash Patel and former Deputy Director David Bongino about sensitive Trump-Russia probe documents
00:17:32.040 They were also found in burn bags in a special room at the FBI.
00:17:38.520 Bongino described roughly one 100-page document connected to Crossfire Hurricane as a motherlode,
00:17:46.280 saying it changed his understanding of the entire Russian collusion probe.
00:17:51.640 Crossfire Hurricane was the FBI investigation into the alleged Trump-Russia collusion was based on a pack of lies
00:17:59.100 and designed to facilitate a coup against President Donald Trump
00:18:03.280 that frankly hampered his presidency through his entire first term
00:18:07.200 and put me and my family through living hell.
00:18:11.960 Jack Smith and his thugs were ultimately unsuccessful, thank God,
00:18:15.400 in their attempts to destroy President Donald Trump.
00:18:17.840 You can even make the argument that their baseless and lawless attacks against the president
00:18:22.360 even backfired and may have aided him in making his pitch to the American people
00:18:28.180 and effectuating the single greatest comeback in American political history.
00:18:34.420 Folks, I can tell you this.
00:18:36.880 The swamp is real and attacks anybody and everything that endangers its power.
00:18:42.280 Donald Trump has taken on the swamp like no president before him.
00:18:45.940 And for that, he was prosecuted like no other president before him.
00:18:50.080 And for that, he was prosecuted by Jack Smith.
00:18:52.880 If there is justice in this case, Smith and his team and those who place themselves into power will be charged for their rampant abuses of the Constitution of the United States, the perversion of our law enforcement agencies for political purposes, and ultimately for their betrayal of the American people.
00:19:11.320 Their attempt to rob the American people of a free, honest, and fair election back in 2024 should echo throughout this country as a warning to Americans everywhere.
00:19:22.880 He's President Trump today, but it could be you or a future president tomorrow.
00:19:28.480 Thanks for joining us today on The Stone Zone.
00:19:30.740 When we get back, we'll bring you more on the latest of the breaking politics and the inside skin and what's really going on in Washington, D.C.
00:19:38.420 So don't go away.
00:19:40.580 The Stone Zone, entertaining and informative on the Red Apple Podcast Network.
00:19:52.880 this is the stone zone with roger stone roger stone who's a very very one of the smartest
00:20:02.740 political minds rogerson was persecuted people forget he's actually a brilliant brilliant
00:20:07.500 political analyst now get him his own it's the stone zone here's roger stone you know democrats
00:20:15.440 really hate the second amendment they hate the right to keep and bear arms enshrined in our
00:20:22.100 U.S. Constitution. Now U.S. Congressman Kevin Mullen, Democrat, of course, of California,
00:20:29.300 has introduced legislation to close what he calls a dangerous gap by redefining BB and pellet guns
00:20:36.460 as firearms. If this redefinition is adopted, it requires that BB guns and those who buy them
00:20:43.600 undergo the same background checks that other prospective buyers of an AR-15 or a 9mm pistol
00:20:49.860 or other serious firearms are subjected to now.
00:20:53.880 Daisy BB Guns used an ex-post to comment on the proposed legislation,
00:20:58.600 writing, this bill would include guns like the Daisy 880.
00:21:03.420 Their goal is to eventually include all air guns.
00:21:06.400 If passed, it will treat air guns producing high velocity as firearms.
00:21:11.040 The bill was introduced to the House of Representatives.
00:21:14.820 It would add all air guns that provide 800 or more feet per second velocity
00:21:19.440 in 1.77 caliber and all pellets over a .25 caliber. In a Friday release, Mullen's office
00:21:27.820 described the current lack of background checks for a simple BB gun as a loophole, adding Garrett
00:21:35.420 Edwards, who was a constituent of Congressman Mullen, struggled with mental health during the
00:21:40.800 pandemic and was prohibited from possessing a firearm by law. Yet, sadly, when his condition
00:21:46.880 worsened, Garrett legally produced a lethal air gun online and used it to take his own life.
00:21:53.720 To prevent similar tragedies, Garrett's law, which is what Mullen has called his proposal,
00:21:59.820 would close this dangerous gap in federal law by designating high-powered lethal air guns as
00:22:06.860 firearms. The aforementioned press release contains a quote from a gun control advocacy group,
00:22:12.660 Giffords. They poured $800,000, almost a million dollars, into trying to defeat Congresswoman
00:22:19.800 Anna Polina Luna, one of the most outstanding conservative leaders in the U.S. Congress.
00:22:26.060 They put out a statement praising this California Congressman Mullins' bill, saying,
00:22:32.380 we're glad to see that Congressman Mullins introduced this legislation to create basic
00:22:36.900 guardrails from those previously unregulated weapons, and we urged Congress to swiftly pass it.
00:22:43.460 The anti-Second Amendment group March for Our Lives, of course, quickly endorsed the bill
00:22:47.920 as well. This is what it's like in Gavin Newsom's California. Your power cycle's on and off.
00:22:54.160 You never know if the water's going to come out of the faucet. That's because if your house doesn't
00:22:58.400 get burned down in a wildfire because Newsom's government refuses to perform basic forest
00:23:03.640 management, and they turned off the water because it was endangering a particularly small fish,
00:23:09.520 which is why half of Los Angeles burned to the ground and still hasn't been rebuilt. If Democrats
00:23:15.780 do take power again in 2026, you can best believe they'll do everything and anything within their
00:23:21.220 power to strip Americans of all of your Second Amendment rights, deploying gun confiscation
00:23:27.080 measures, and arresting those who refuse to comply. Even as we speak, Governor Kathy Hochul
00:23:33.100 has a proposal that says if you do legally own a firearm, you have to keep it within a safe within
00:23:39.780 your home for it to be legal. But how would the government know whether the gun that you legally
00:23:45.780 own is kept in a safe unless they come and check on it? Here's a question for Kathy Hochul. We'll
00:23:52.240 wait for her answer. Americans have a God-given right to bear arms, in my view, as put forth by
00:23:58.520 our founding fathers and enshrined with our Bill of Rights. The right to bear arms is not granted
00:24:03.820 by government, but by God, just like the other nine amendments enshrined in the Bill of Rights.
00:24:09.000 They cannot be altered by law of man. Any law which infringes upon the rights of Americans to
00:24:15.520 bear arms when challenged in a constitutionally based court of law actually stands no chance.
00:24:21.820 It is only through the perversion of the judiciary with radical activist judges who view it as their
00:24:27.640 duty to unlawfully legislate from the bench that gun control remains in effect in many of our
00:24:32.800 largest cities. Baltimore, Chicago, St. Louis, these are cities plagued by gun violence
00:24:39.220 in the faces of illegal restrictions on law-abiding gun owners of those respective cities. So in other
00:24:45.360 words, if these cities have the most restrictive gun control laws in the country, why has that not
00:24:53.040 stopped the rise in crime, particularly gun-related crimes, in those cities. It essentially proves
00:25:02.000 that gun control measures do not work. If guns are outlawed, only outlaws will have guns. Those
00:25:08.500 who stand against America's core values, particularly those in our Bill of Rights,
00:25:12.480 have no place in our Congress and certainly not in our government. Meanwhile, President Donald
00:25:18.360 Trump on Monday announced plans to build the largest steel plant in the U.S. history in the
00:25:24.440 state of Iowa. Leadership from the India-based SR Group, which owns Mesabi Metallics, joined
00:25:31.820 President Trump in the Oval Office, along with a number of Iowa officials, for the official
00:25:36.600 announcement. Today, we're thrilled to announce that Mesabi Metallics will be building the largest
00:25:42.300 steel plant in American history in the great state of Iowa. It's the largest plant, or one of the
00:25:47.980 largest plants in the world, but it's certainly the largest plant in America by far, President
00:25:52.900 Trump said. Trump said that once operational, the plant will source iron ore from a Minnesota mine
00:25:59.600 and produce a whopping 10 million tons of steel annually. But it's the first new iron ore mine
00:26:07.460 in the United States in more than 50 years with the highest quality of ore being used.
00:26:12.080 So, in other words, this steel will be mined, melted, and made right here in the United States, which at this point is extraordinarily unusual.
00:26:21.720 The project is expected to create up to 6,000 new construction jobs, nearly 2,000 manufacturing and mining jobs, and add another $95 billion to the U.S. economy, which is the number one economy in the world by far, the president pointed out.
00:26:38.480 Trump touted his steel tariff policy and highlighted manufacturing job loss
00:26:43.040 under former President Joe Biden in the White House Oval Office appearance.
00:26:48.180 Under Sleepy Joe, steel production declined significantly,
00:26:52.000 along with nearly 200,000 manufacturing jobs that were lost in the year before I took office, the president said.
00:26:58.600 He said that steel has come roaring back to life after he imposed a 50% Section 232 tariff on steel from other countries
00:27:07.580 He also put a 25% tariff on steel and upped it to 50% in late June of 2025.
00:27:15.320 Everyone's building their plans here or there because they don't want to pay tariffs.
00:27:19.400 It's really not that complicated, the president said.
00:27:22.080 A lot of people say they don't understand it, but they do.
00:27:24.980 They just don't like to give us credit.
00:27:27.120 The president's right about that.
00:27:28.600 He has enormous accomplishments for which he does not get credit.
00:27:31.880 Because of the tariffs, the president said, were taking in hundreds of billions of dollars of profits.
00:27:36.780 It's one of the reasons I can offer, if Republicans win the House and the Senate, $5,000 to every adult, and we will have the money to do it, the president added.
00:27:46.680 Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick echoed the president's sentiment on tariffs.
00:27:51.000 You have these 232 tariffs, the steel tariffs, at work.
00:27:55.320 Without those tariffs, this mine wouldn't have gotten built, and the steel plant does not get built at all.
00:28:01.380 Lutnick has this one right.
00:28:04.020 Meanwhile, the Texas Democrat U.S. Senate candidate James Tallarico,
00:28:08.080 sometimes called Tallafrico for his outlandish, progressive, and left-wing views,
00:28:13.660 is scheduled to attend a high-file fundraiser right there in New York City on Monday,
00:28:18.260 along with former Senator Sherrod Brown with a number of Wall Street financiers,
00:28:24.200 Hollywood figures, and other Wall Street elites,
00:28:27.200 including a jewelry designer and filmmaker who's publicly criticized the United States
00:28:32.500 and its flag among those involved in the fundraising event.
00:28:36.540 This September 28th fundraiser, hosted by the actor Robert De Niro,
00:28:41.940 it's amazing how short that guy is,
00:28:44.000 and other prominent Democrat donors,
00:28:46.000 is scheduled to take place at an undisclosed location
00:28:48.580 somewhere in downtown Manhattan,
00:28:50.540 with top tickets costing $27,000.
00:28:54.860 Actress Gina Gershon is also expected to attend.
00:28:58.860 See, that's how these Hollywood starlets, actors, and others in the entertainment industry burnish their credentials by campaigning for Democrats and trashing Donald Trump.
00:29:10.780 The event comes as Tallarico promotes his campaign as a people-powered movement to take back Texas,
00:29:16.880 despite the fact that he's received the vast majority of his campaign contributions from outside the state of Texas.
00:29:23.540 According to figures reported by the Texas Tribune in July, more than 55% of Tau Rico's contributions came from out-of-state donors, while approximately 44% came from Texas.
00:29:34.820 By comparison, Republican Senate candidate and Attorney General Ken Paxton received 82% of his contributions from Texans and just 18% from outside the Lone Star State.
00:29:47.420 The New York Fundraiser's host committee includes Charles Alaimo, a Democrat megadonor and the managing director at Group One Trading, Sadomar Kurnabek, a former managing director at an investment firm, D.E. Shaw & Company, and current board members of the Inclusive Abundance, as well as Charles Myers, former chairman of Signum Global Advisors,
00:30:16.100 and a former top advisor to Hillary Clinton.
00:30:19.800 Other participants include Jane Rosenthal,
00:30:22.680 co-founder of the Tribeca Film Festival,
00:30:25.420 who has lived in a $40 million condominium
00:30:27.800 on Manhattan's Upper West Side,
00:30:30.100 as well as Bill Darrow,
00:30:32.260 a corporate banker over at Jeffries.
00:30:34.860 Also listed on the host committee,
00:30:36.520 this is a public document, by the way,
00:30:38.160 is Alexis Bittar, a jewelry designer and filmmaker
00:30:41.880 who's previously supported
00:30:43.100 several progressive Democrat candidates
00:30:45.540 and criticized the United States and its flag.
00:30:49.220 According to an article that I saw in the Washington Free Beacon,
00:30:53.100 Bittar, whose jewelry was worn by former First Lady Michelle Obama,
00:30:57.040 was a major financial bundler for New York City Mayor Zoran Mamdami
00:31:02.160 and co-hosted a fundraiser for the Michigan Senate candidate
00:31:06.260 Mohamed El Sayyad earlier this year.
00:31:10.320 In an Instagram post in June supporting the Democrat Socialist Claire Valdez,
00:31:15.060 Bittar wrote, hey people, it's voting time, bringing all the Democrat socialists, let's change America.
00:31:22.940 Well, under the First Amendment, she's perfectly free to say that, but it tells you who she really is.
00:31:29.420 He also appeared in an Instagram video in August with El Sayyad declaring that the traditional Democrats have one foot in the grave.
00:31:37.100 Take that, Jack Kennedy, Bobby Kennedy, Harry Truman.
00:31:40.840 The revolution has begun. 0.86
00:31:42.400 Bittar has criticized Zionists and the American Israel Public Affairs Committee 0.98
00:31:48.480 Suggesting that their influence, along with major media companies 0.52
00:31:52.360 Could prevent El Sayyad from winning his election to the Senate in Michigan
00:31:57.040 In an interview published shortly before America's 250th anniversary
00:32:01.460 Bittar called the country a S-hole
00:32:05.560 I can't really say that in a family radio show
00:32:08.000 He also produced a 33-minute documentary about the American flag, denigrating it with filmmaker Bruce Cohen.
00:32:16.520 See, this is who James Tallarico fundraisers with.
00:32:19.580 It's become a symbol of aggression, the American flag, like we're coming for you during Trump's era, Bittar told Forbes while promoting his film.
00:32:27.680 How tragic is this?
00:32:29.260 Like this is where we're at, the ultimate symbol of the United States is now used as a weapon to bifurcate.
00:32:36.760 Bifurcate what?
00:32:38.000 We all love the American flag as part of being an American.
00:32:41.720 Bitar said in 2016 that both his parents were socialists
00:32:45.020 and created an advertising series featuring a fictional female serial killer named Amanda Gates.
00:32:52.920 The videos depict an actress portraying Gates strangling a male victim
00:32:56.460 while wearing Bitar's celebrated jewelry.
00:32:59.980 I'm always intrigued by people who kill, Bitar told V Magazine back in December 25
00:33:05.820 while discussing the campaign for his film.
00:33:09.940 On September 10th, Grey's Anatomy creator,
00:33:12.880 Shana Rimes, and Lost co-creator Damon Lindelof
00:33:18.800 and his wife, Heidi, were set to host
00:33:21.120 a Washington fundraiser for Tallarico
00:33:23.580 and Senator John Ossoff.
00:33:26.520 He's the one who President Trump correctly said
00:33:28.640 looks a bit like Pee Wee Herman.
00:33:30.760 That was supposed to be at Lindelof's Brentwood home.
00:33:34.200 Tickets ranged from $1,000 to $27,000, with fundraising proceeds expected to be split evenly between both candidates.
00:33:44.000 Earlier in the summer, the Lindelhoffs attended a separate fundraiser hosted by media executive Peter Chernin and his wife Megan for Tallarico and three other candidates.
00:33:54.360 Tallarico's campaign is also fundraised for Illinois Governor J.B. Pritzker, the billionaire heir to the Hyatt Hotel fortune.
00:34:02.680 I say these names simply to point out that the Democrat Party is now the party of the wealthy Wall Street and entertainment elite.
00:34:11.740 It used to be thought that the Republicans were the party of the wealthy, the party of the country club, but under Donald Trump everything is juxtaposed.
00:34:18.800 Now the Republican Party is the party of working people and the middle class families, while the Democrat Party is the party of the elite ultra rich.
00:34:29.400 When we come back, we're going to talk about the banning and censorship, once again, of Trump supporters and Republicans online.
00:34:40.420 Their spam filtering, I think, has obstructed over $117 million in fundraising for Trump and the Republicans.
00:34:47.680 They're back to their old tricks, Google and Microsoft, very specifically.

00:35:50.640 Welcome back into the Stone Zone. A newly published study estimates that Republican fundraisers lost $117 million last year after email providers, chiefly Google, Microsoft and Yahoo, inappropriately flagged Republican fundraising messages as spam while allowing Democrat fundraising emails through to the email box for those that they were intended to.
00:36:14.600 The New York Post reports that the study, authored by Dr. Cameron Ellis of the University of Iowa and Dr. Lars Powell of the University of Alabama, uses itemized Federal Election Commission donation records to separate first-time donors from repeat donors across the Republican platform, WinRed, and its Democrat counterpart, ActBlue, then tracked how donations moved between two stretches of spam filtering last year.
00:36:41.440 The first stretch ran from June 30, 2025, when the Republican consulting firm Targeted Victory told Google that when read,
00:36:49.640 funging emails were landing in spam through September 2025, when Google dropped a spam blacklist called CERABLE that the researchers say had been improperly flagging the messages.
00:37:02.700 During that window, spam filtering caught first-time wind-run donations by more than 75% across Gmail, Outlook, and Yahoo.
00:37:12.300 The second stretch, affecting only Outlook, ran from February through April that same year and saw first-time wind-run donations drop a whopping 83%.
00:37:21.700 Together, the two periods cost Republicans 1,400 and 2,126 expected first-time donations, which the researchers converted by calculation to be about $117 million using FEC data.
00:37:39.700 data. See, the point is that when a Republican fundraising outfit sends you an email, thanks to
00:37:46.600 Google or Microsoft, it ends up in your spam filter, doesn't go to your email box. Yet when
00:37:52.160 a Democrat organization such as ActBlue sends you a solicitation, it went right to your email.
00:37:58.660 This is just another way that the big companies in Silicon Valley cheat. It's a huge number.
00:38:03.960 Powell who conducted these studies
00:38:06.880 told the New York Post
00:38:08.020 he said the loss doubled as a gift to the other side
00:38:10.960 you can really think of it as an
00:38:12.920 in-kind contribution to the
00:38:14.860 Democrat recipients
00:38:16.260 both Ellis and Powell who wrote
00:38:18.900 the report said that a narrow
00:38:20.600 link level placement decision
00:38:22.540 by a small number of mailbook
00:38:24.780 box providers provided
00:38:26.880 a measurable and economically meaningful
00:38:29.080 drop in political fundraising
00:38:31.060 and the mechanism was observable
00:38:33.280 only because private-paired testing evidence leaked into public reporting.
00:38:38.720 That's how it ended up in the New York Post.
00:38:41.540 Powell, who wrote the study, was up front about the limits of studying a system companies keep so opaque.
00:38:47.180 Can't read their minds, he said, but pointed to other evidence, pinning down the cause.
00:38:52.320 Inbox placement data and paired email tests showed that when the filtering happened
00:38:57.860 and supported that WinRite links were those that were the trigger,
00:39:01.840 Email placement for the Republicans, the researchers found, were normalized once Google stopped using their CERBO program on September 15th.
00:39:11.240 Just for scale, the Republican National Committee, the Republican Congressional Committee, and the Republican Senate Committee fundraising totaled $375 million combined in 2025.
00:39:22.860 Gmail, just for comparison, has more than 3 billion monthly users.
00:39:27.780 Google pushed back hard on the report.
00:39:31.180 The spokesperson said the study relies on deeply flawed methodology that fundamentally misunderstands how Gmail works right.
00:39:39.980 And called $170 million a theoretical estimate rather than a real-world number.
00:39:46.120 Our spam protections apply equally to everyone regardless of political affiliation, and we encourage bulk senders to follow the best practices to reach inboxes, the spokesman said.
00:39:56.560 adding that people are in full control of their inboxes
00:40:00.060 not true
00:40:00.760 with the power to mark messages as spam
00:40:03.060 block senders unsubscribe at any time
00:40:06.100 Microsoft declined to comment
00:40:08.180 Yahoo also did not respond to the report
00:40:10.980 when they were asked by the New York Post for comment
00:40:13.340 Google changed Gmail settings that August
00:40:16.980 a new verified sender program
00:40:18.800 letting political campaigns and packs
00:40:20.960 bypass the Gmail spam filter as long as they say
00:40:24.160 Policy compliant takes effect this coming Tuesday.
