00:00:00.460 The Stone Zone, entertaining and informative on the Red Apple Podcast Network.
00:00:07.640 And we're back in the Stone Zone. Joining me now is Cliff Maloney.
00:00:12.760 Cliff Maloney hails from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
00:00:15.580 He is the chief executive officer of the Citizens Alliance,
00:00:19.380 but he's also, more importantly, I think, founder of the Pennsylvania Chase.
00:00:23.920 At 34 years old, Cliff Maloney's door-knocking deployments
00:00:27.920 have knocked on over 8 million doors
00:00:30.080 and delivered victories in 418 elections across the country.
00:00:35.720 Many have referred to Cliff Maloney as the godfather of shoe-leather politics and door-knocking.
00:00:41.540 He hired 124 full-time door-knockers knocking on 510,000 doors,
00:00:48.520 and he increased Donald Trump's share of the Pennsylvania mail-in vote from 20% to 34.5%,
00:00:56.800 something Cliff told me from the beginning he would achieve.
00:01:00.300 Every time I would reach out to him by text or by phone, I would say,
00:01:03.560 Brother, how you doing?
00:01:04.460 And he would say, I'm grinding, man.
00:01:05.980 I'm grinding.
00:01:06.760 And grind he did, hitting the numbers that he predicted a full year in advance.
00:01:12.060 Cliff Maloney, I know you, like me, are reeling over the brutal political assassination
00:01:17.220 of our mutual friend, Charlie Kirk, but still, I welcome you into the Stone Zone.
00:01:22.360 Roger, always an honor to be with you as a mentor, a friend.
00:01:26.640 You're right.
00:01:27.080 A year ago, you gave me a platform.
00:01:29.580 I told you that we had to hit 33% in Pennsylvania for Donald Trump.
00:01:33.740 You believed in me.
00:01:34.800 Not a lot of people did.
00:01:36.060 We pulled it off.
00:01:37.180 Appreciate you.
00:01:38.040 Thanks for having me tonight.
00:01:39.620 Yeah, I mean, if I had to name three individuals beyond, of course, Donald Trump and J.D. Vance,
00:01:45.960 responsible for the greatest comeback in American political history, something that on paper
00:01:51.600 should have been impossible, something that some in our own party said was impossible and
00:01:58.480 wasn't going to happen, that, frankly, would be Charlie Kirk, Scott Pressler, and you, Cliff
00:02:04.900 Maloney.
00:02:05.360 And when you began the Pennsylvania effort, some of the old bulls in the party scoffed
00:02:12.320 at the idea that you could increase Trump's share of the mail-in vote, which is notoriously
00:02:17.720 Democrat-manipulated, from 20% to 33%.
00:02:22.040 You got it to 34.5%.
00:02:24.880 Many people consider that a miracle.
00:02:27.320 Yeah, and you're right, Roger.
00:02:28.200 You know, it was all the old guard, the Karl Rove-esque, the John McCain establishment
00:02:34.360 Republicans who told me to sit down, shut up, and you were the opposite.
00:02:39.680 You handed me a microphone.
00:02:40.840 You said, young man, speak out.
00:02:42.840 And just, I want you to know, Roger, how much I appreciate that.
00:02:46.420 Well, you are the future of the party.
00:02:48.640 Don't, you know, don't ever tell people what they can't do, particularly young conservatives.
00:02:53.540 But we have suffered a serious blow in the loss of Charlie Kirk.
00:02:59.000 I didn't know Charlie Kirk, as I said earlier in the show, after the FBI raided my home,
00:03:05.280 he could see through it, as many Americans could.
00:03:08.040 The fact that CNN just happened to be there.
00:03:10.460 Totally coincidentally, Cliff, of course.
00:03:12.880 He knew immediately that I was being set up in a fraud.
00:03:17.740 It wasn't that I had done anything wrong, but they had run out of scenarios, run out of narrative.
00:03:25.800 They had to create Russian collusion where none existed.
00:03:30.000 They would have let me walk.
00:03:31.460 They told me repeatedly that they would recommend that I serve no jail time, that I just walk away
00:03:36.180 if I would just agree to testify falsely against President Donald Trump, which, of course, I refused to do.
00:03:42.180 Charlie recognized this vice grip that they had me in, and he became both a public and a private advocate,
00:03:49.760 probably more effective even privately than he was publicly.
00:03:53.960 I mean, he said it on his show.
00:03:55.940 He said it in his tweets.
00:03:57.620 He said it publicly.
00:03:58.760 But I know that he argued with the president and some of his advisors that I'd be given full clemency,
00:04:05.680 that the charges against me would ultimately prove to be fraudulent, which, of course, they were.
00:04:10.740 Anybody who's looked at the fully unredacted final Robert Mueller's report, special counsel's report,
00:04:18.840 which they hid from the American people for three years, finally took a federal judge to order them to release it,
00:04:25.420 you can see that they found no evidence of Russian collusion, WikiLeaks collaboration, or any other crime on my part.
00:04:34.780 Let's focus on the future because politics is always about the future.
00:04:38.780 You have a theory, which I totally subscribe to, that if we can lock in Pennsylvania,
00:04:45.080 if we can ensure that it is a red state going forward, it becomes virtually impossible for the Marxist Democrats to retake the White House.
00:04:55.200 So, Cliff, what's the plan?
00:04:58.400 Yeah, you know, listen, I say that Pennsylvania is the red wall, right?
00:05:01.560 The math becomes extremely difficult for Democrats to win nationally ever again.
00:05:07.040 If we make Pennsylvania the new Ohio, right, the next Florida, if you will, there's really a minimal path that they have.
00:05:15.040 So, Roger, what I've committed to is, listen, we did this effort in 2024 with the Pennsylvania Chase.
00:05:20.900 We cannot sit out a year.
00:05:22.380 Here are the two options we have, okay?
00:05:23.940 And Josh Shapiro is praying that we take the first option.
00:05:27.520 The first option is, you sit out the odd years, you hang out, you let them incrementally claw back on all the gains that we made in 2024.
00:05:37.120 That's option one.
00:05:38.080 Option two is you say, listen, we're going to do this thing every year.
00:05:41.520 We're going to match the Democrats' playbook.
00:05:43.800 We're going to run a ground game.
00:05:45.480 We're going to chase ballots.
00:05:46.680 We're going to knock doors every year.
00:05:48.360 So, here's my pitch, and here's my plan for all the Stone Zone listeners.
00:05:52.780 In 2025, this year, we're going to knock 500,000 doors again.
00:05:57.160 We launched August 4th.
00:05:58.580 We'll be there through November 4th for the general election.
00:06:01.380 Next year in the midterms, we're going to do 750,000 doors.
00:06:05.960 2027, another 500,000 doors in the off year.
00:06:09.620 In 2028, whether it's J.D. Vance or whoever the nominee is, I'm a big fan of J.D., we're going to pledge to knock a million doors.
00:06:16.640 This is the Democrat playbook.
00:06:19.260 I don't give credit for creating it, Roger.
00:06:21.340 You were the one that told me this.
00:06:22.980 You know, political technology is politically neutral.
00:06:26.320 It's ideologically neutral.
00:06:28.000 It doesn't matter.
00:06:28.900 If it works, you have to do it.
00:06:30.820 So, in Pennsylvania, we have 50 days, 50 days of voting.
00:06:35.040 And so the antidote, the remedy to that is to go out to every Republican that is unlikely to vote on Election Day and say, hey, Mr. Bob Smith, here is a request form.
00:06:48.040 We'll get a ballot sent to your door.
00:06:49.740 And then once ballots go out, what do we do, Roger?
00:06:51.700 We go to every Republican that has a ballot, and we say, you have to send this back.
00:06:57.360 And let me tell you the results.
00:06:59.280 In 2020, there were 141,000 Republicans that requested a mail-in ballot and never sent it back.
00:07:07.200 In 2024, when we actually did the Chase program, we went and talked to these people that had a ballot.
00:07:12.840 We got that number down to 60,000.
00:07:16.040 That's how Donald Trump won Pennsylvania.
00:07:17.960 That's how we're going to continue to build the Red Wall, and that's what this is about, permanent infrastructure.
00:07:23.640 Beat the Democrats at their own game, and the Stone Zone has my word that I will go out and raise the money.
00:07:30.160 I will hire the individuals.
00:07:31.800 I will deploy the door-knocking team, and we will knock the doors needed to make PA the Red Wall.
00:07:38.460 It's easy to get stuck reaching for the same familiar fruits and vegetables, even when you know a colorful variety is key.
00:07:45.240 Balance of Nature's fruits and veggie supplements don't replace fruits and vegetables, but it makes it easy to add more variety to what you already eat.

00:08:08.180 Folks, if you're just tuning in, you're in the Stone Zone.
00:08:11.920 We're talking to Cliff Maloney.
00:08:13.440 He is the founder of the Pennsylvania Chase.
00:08:16.160 He also serves as the chief executive officer of Citizens Alliance, and he is the architect of the Keystone State victory of Donald Trump.
00:08:25.600 He set out to do it, well, more than a year in advance.
00:08:28.800 He told me what he would do, and he is one of the most dynamic young leaders in the Republican Party today.
00:08:35.180 What do you say, Cliff, to those voters who love Donald Trump, voted for Donald Trump, but may not be that in love with the Republican Party?
00:08:46.200 What do you say to them?
00:08:47.240 Well, I say, listen, you know, I'm a liberty lover first before I'm a party member.
00:08:51.340 And my advice to anybody who's just getting into the fight, whether it's because of this horrific tragedy with Charlie,
00:08:56.860 whether it's because you realize, you know, the good versus the bad, you know, unfortunately, I hate to say it like this,
00:09:03.440 but it's representative of Republican versus Democrat.
00:09:07.820 Do not get in the battle to build a party.
00:09:10.140 There's a lot of great friends of ours, Roger, who are in the battle.
00:09:13.200 They're in the party.
00:09:13.880 I'm not saying that the party is bad, but find a candidate like a Donald Trump.
00:09:18.820 Find a candidate that you really support.
00:09:21.860 That, to me, is the effort.
00:09:23.700 Don't get caught up.
00:09:24.660 If you're in a meeting and you're an activist and you find yourself spending a majority of your time arguing about bylaws,
00:09:31.940 arguing about, you know, different motions and who makes a second, go out and talk to the voters.
00:09:38.760 That is the real battle.
00:09:40.360 That is the opportunity we have.
00:09:42.140 The American people are with us.
00:09:43.760 If the gut reaction of voters was to stand with illegal immigrants over Americans or to stand with men who think they are girls over the real girls who are out there trying to be in their own places to play sports, I'd give up this fight.
00:09:58.160 But the reason I've doubled that, and you taught me this, Roger, is that the American people are with us.
00:10:03.920 And so my advice is find a candidate you align with.
00:10:06.900 Find an issue you want to fight for.
00:10:09.220 Spend your time focusing on that.
00:10:11.740 That's how we make liberty win.
00:10:13.760 That's how we save the republic.
00:10:15.340 I think you made a very good point there.
00:10:17.340 I'm not sure everybody caught it, but I'm going to come back and hit it.
00:10:19.780 And that is Cliff Maloney had to go out and raise all the money for this shoe leather war to win Pennsylvania.
00:10:26.800 We don't have a George Soros standing in the background writing billion dollar checks to Cliff Maloney or to Turning Point USA or any other grassroots organization.
00:10:37.760 We have to go out and raise that money.
00:10:39.700 So Cliff, if people want to support your work right now, and they realize that this doesn't just go on just in the presidential campaign years, but it's a year in, year out, every year effort to not lose the valuable ground that you made in terms of voter registration and in terms of building the infrastructure to locate, identify, and turn out votes.
00:11:01.240 Where can people go?
00:11:03.760 Yeah, pachase.com.
00:11:05.960 P-A, short for Pennsylvania, pachase.com.
00:11:09.500 And, Roger, here's the best thing I say to everybody out there in the Stone Zone.
00:11:13.480 100% of the money that people donate, there's no grift, there's no percentage cut, there's no commissions.
00:11:20.420 $175 covers an entire day.
00:11:22.780 For me to put a ballot chaser on the ground, it goes towards their pay, their housing, their food, their gas cards.
00:11:30.460 $175 is a full-day sponsorship at pachase.com.
00:11:35.120 And that's what I ask people to do.
00:11:36.460 Listen, fundraising is the worst part of my gig.
00:11:39.460 You know, a year and a half ago, Roger, when we first talked on your show, it would have been easy for me to say, hey, listen, the party, the establishment, they don't want to fund us.
00:11:48.880 They got their own consultants.
00:11:50.140 They got their own grifters.
00:11:51.220 I'm just going to go home.
00:11:53.340 But instead, I spent 300 days on the road in 2024 meeting with patriots.
00:11:58.980 They don't have any special interests.
00:12:00.940 They're not looking for favors.
00:12:02.120 They just want to save the republic.
00:12:04.160 They want to save the country.
00:12:06.020 And so that's my argument to everybody.
00:12:07.940 $175 a day, pachase.com.
00:12:12.000 You can sponsor an actual person on the ground talking to voters.
00:12:17.140 That's how we win.
00:12:18.280 As Charlie would say, it's one of my favorite quotes.
00:12:21.220 Do the work.
00:12:22.140 And my big message to everybody right now is for Charlie.
00:12:26.840 Do it for Charlie.
00:12:28.440 That's what we're up against.
00:12:29.540 Yeah, this is a very key point I want to come back and hit.
00:12:32.320 And that is, trust me, Cliff Maloney does not have cushy offices.
00:12:36.580 He doesn't have a massive salary.
00:12:38.280 He doesn't have a huge expense account.
00:12:40.360 There are not high-paid consultants and grifters.
00:12:43.140 This is a hand-to-mouth, grassroots operation where the money you give goes right to the main task, goes right to voter registration, voter identification, voter turnout.
00:12:55.540 I, frankly, in the 50 years I've been in American politics, I haven't seen anything this impressive.
00:13:02.040 Cliff told me he was going to build it 18 months before the election.
00:13:05.000 And by Election Day, he had surpassed what the old bulls in the party ever thought was possible.
00:13:11.120 In fact, they laughed at him.
00:13:12.540 They thought that this was a fool's errand.
00:13:15.280 But he delivered thanks to the literally hundreds of thousands of donors who stepped up to the plate and went to PACHase.com.
00:13:24.280 We've got about a minute left here before we come back to a little more.
00:13:29.900 I want to talk about the New Jersey governor's race when we return.
00:13:33.960 As you know, New Jersey and Virginia are the only two states who have their gubernatorial race in the off years.
00:13:40.540 It is interesting to me that Donald Trump ran extraordinarily strong in the Garden State, despite the fact that it was not a targeted state.
00:13:48.900 It was not a place where the Trump campaign could afford to make massive expenditures.
00:13:55.020 It's an incredibly expensive state to campaign in because, of course, it has both the New York and the Philadelphia television markets.
00:14:03.700 The New York market covering the northern part of the state, the Pennsylvania market covering the southern part of the state.
00:14:11.220 It's not a cheap place to campaign.
00:14:13.540 Donald Trump ran extremely strongly in the state, considering all the efforts in the state were largely grassroots, things put together by patriots like Mike Crispy and others.
00:14:25.020 I want to get to Cliff's take on the upcoming gubernatorial election.
00:14:29.140 I also want to talk to him a little bit about his personal remembrance of Charlie Kirk, the founder of Turning Point.
00:14:35.920 He was a great friend of mine.
00:14:37.520 He's a great friend of Cliff's.
00:14:38.920 He provides inspiration for us, even in death.
00:14:44.040 So we're going to cover all that when we come back.
00:14:46.460 You're tuned into The Stone Zone with me, Roger Stone, on the Red Apple Audio Networks.
00:14:51.720 Whatever you do, we'll be back with more hot politics, so don't go away.
00:14:58.020 The Stone Zone.
00:14:59.920 Entertaining and informative.
00:15:02.080 On the Red Apple Podcast Network.
00:15:05.120 And we're back in The Stone Zone.
00:15:07.400 Well, I'm still joined by Cliff Maloney.
00:15:09.780 Cliff Maloney's been called the godfather of shoe leather and door-knocking politics at a mere 34 years old.
00:15:16.220 He is one of the key architects of Donald Trump's incredible victory in the Keystone State of Pennsylvania.
00:15:23.060 We have people in eastern Pennsylvania listening to us right now.
00:15:26.000 So you've probably been touched by Cliff Maloney and his Pennsylvania Chase operation.
00:15:32.560 Probably the greatest single grassroots political operation in the history of American politics.
00:15:39.500 Average age of your deployment, Cliff?
00:15:42.660 Yeah, probably about 22 years old.
00:15:46.480 I mean, a lot of people either are taking a gap year after high school, they're fresh out of college.
00:15:51.720 You know, we pull a lot of people, Roger.
00:15:53.140 They either listen to The Stone Zone, they're listening to the different shows, the Charlie Kirk show.
00:15:57.400 But people that say, you know what, I'm working a dead-end job or I'm working, but I want to be in the fight.
00:16:03.240 And that's typically how we recruit.
00:16:04.740 You know, for us to have 120 people on the ground in PA in 2024, we had about 1,100 people apply.
00:16:11.580 And so it shows you, I mean, there's a lot of young people that are just yearning to get involved, but 22 is probably the average age.
00:16:19.280 So all these young people had a profound effect on the direction of the country, helping facilitate the greatest political comeback in American history by President Donald Trump.
00:16:29.980 I loved watching him over there in London, all the pomp and ceremony.
00:16:35.100 Of course, I know he's now going to want his very own coach and carriage because that was pretty cool.
00:16:40.600 But I want to ask you about New Jersey.
00:16:42.580 We've got about three minutes left.
00:16:44.800 New Jersey, one of the two states that has its gubernatorial election in the off years.
00:16:50.480 Have the folks in New Jersey been wise enough to utilize some of the lessons that you taught us in 2024?
00:17:01.360 Well, one, I'll give Mike Crispy credit.
00:17:03.620 Mike Crispy, a great patriot.
00:17:05.080 But I got an outreach from Mike and a bunch of other patriots in New Jersey that said, hey, listen, you know, how do we get the PA Chase to launch in New Jersey?
00:17:14.020 So I'm happy to report here on your show, here in the Stone Zone, that we are involved with the New Jersey Chase.
00:17:20.720 We have committed to put people on the ground.
00:17:23.520 We launched in early August for Jack Cittarelli.
00:17:26.360 And we are committing to knock 500,000 doors for the New Jersey Chase program.
00:17:32.860 And honestly, Roger, there's nothing special to say.
00:17:35.180 It's just taking the playbook that we used in Pennsylvania.
00:17:38.240 And I was just in Cape May yesterday meeting with some of our people that are investing, strategists.
00:17:44.400 We are knocking 500,000 doors for Jack Cittarelli.
00:17:47.620 I'm honored to do it.
00:17:49.060 And I think it could be the difference maker to put him over the hump in this gubernatorial election.
00:17:54.180 Well, there you go, folks.
00:17:55.040 We just made news right here in the Stone Zone.
00:17:58.220 And I have to upgrade Jack Cittarelli's chances.
00:18:01.080 Look, this is tough territory.
00:18:02.840 I mean, New Jersey is a very, very blue state, but the high-tax, soft-on-crime policies that produce people like Cory Booker have, I think, run out of steam.
00:18:14.160 President Trump ran a very strong race in the state, and Cittarelli is coming on strong in the public opinion polls.
00:18:20.100 I think victory is indeed possible.
00:18:22.220 And now, frankly, I'm encouraged by hearing that Cliff Maloney's technology, his tactics, his techniques, and indeed his handbook, shall we say, is going to be used on the ground in the Garden State.
00:18:35.760 So I'm upgrading the chances of Cittarelli now as a potential come-from-behind winner.
00:18:42.160 It's going to take this kind of Herculean effort, but Cliff Maloney and Mike Crispy, that's an unbelievable combination when it comes to grassroots action and activism.
00:18:53.400 So I wish you the very best in that effort.
00:18:55.940 If you've just tuned in, I'm going to give it to you one more time.

00:19:09.380 Absolutely, Roger.
00:19:10.160 And let me tell you this, just as a send-off, Roger, I appreciate you.
00:19:13.520 You've always been there for me, a great patriot of this country, a true America first man, and I appreciate your mentorship and just always being there for everyone who wants to fight for the cause.
00:19:24.300 Thank you so much for having me.
00:19:25.720 All right.
00:19:26.180 That was the great Cliff Maloney, who was the founder of the Pennsylvania Chase and one of the key architects of Donald Trump's stunning Pennsylvania victory that made his comeback even sweeter.
