00:00:00.160 Did you know that St. Luke's University Health Network, based in the Lehigh Valley, Pennsylvania,

00:00:05.680 has been recognized by the U.S. government as the highest performing health system in the United States for quality?

00:00:12.140 You heard right.

00:00:13.320 St. Luke's number one recognition affirms our status as the top leader among the most respected health care providers in the nation,

00:00:20.400 including Houston Methodist and the Mayo Clinic.

00:00:23.120 To state it simply, if you want to receive the best care when you go to a hospital, come to St. Luke's.

00:00:30.000 The Stone Zone on the Red Apple Podcast Network.

00:00:35.620 You are now entering the Stone Zone.

00:00:40.040 Remember when it was alleged that President Richard Nixon had an enemies list, which was largely a fabrication by John Dean.

00:00:49.320 But nonetheless, the Democrats and their handmaidens in the mainstream media went completely crazy.

00:00:56.640 Well, now we've learned that the Biden administration had such a hit list, but I suggest to you that the Democrats and their friends in the mainstream media will largely be silent.

00:01:09.540 The weaponization of government against political opponents has now reached an apex so grotesque, so tyrannical, and so nakedly partisan that even the casual observer cannot miss it.

00:01:21.780 You see, the FBI launched Project Arctic Frost in April of 2022, but they dressed it up as an inquiry into the events surrounding the 2020 election.

00:01:33.960 But what it became was a dragnet ensnaring nearly 100 Republican groups and individuals, conservatives and, yes, Trump supporters.

00:01:44.120 It included the Republican National Committee, the Republican Attorney General's Association, Charlie Kirk's organization, Turning Point USA, Charlie Kirk himself, Mayor Rudy Giuliani, Sidney Powell, and, yes, yours truly, not to mention countless others who suddenly pulled into the vortex of suspicion, not because of evidence of crime or they did anything wrong, but because of our political views.

00:02:11.680 The project was codenamed Arctic Frost. It's not merely an investigation. It's a sledgehammer that was wielded against those hiding the crimes of the Biden crime family and the demonic democratic regime with their deep state allies to bludgeon conservatives into submission.

00:02:32.220 Make no mistake about it.

00:02:33.940 This is not about justice.

00:02:36.080 It was retribution.

00:02:37.560 It was revenge.

00:02:39.180 It was reprisal.

00:02:40.460 It was retaliation.

00:02:42.440 See, this is how the left operates.

00:02:44.180 They took their playbook straight from Saul Alinsky, the famous communist operative,

00:02:50.640 and they manufacture investigations, stretch the law like taffy,

00:02:55.260 and unleash federal prosecutors as political hitmen.

00:02:58.960 The result is not merely reputational destruction, but financial and personal annihilation.

00:03:07.560 They know that defending oneself against an endless barrage of subpoenas, proper sessions, civil proceedings, depositions, document requests, and trials bleeds the target dry.

00:03:20.780 You see, even if you ultimately prevail, you're left bankrupted, humiliated, tortured, and, well, exhausted.

00:03:28.020 And I guess that's the point. The left mockingly calls this justice. I and their other victims

00:03:35.420 call exactly what it is, lawfare. This is the same lawfare that was used against me

00:03:41.080 when fabricated charges and perjured testimony were assembled like Lincoln logs, building a

00:03:47.100 case designed to ruin my life. I survived only by the grace of God, the support of patriots across

00:03:53.500 America, and ultimately the justified pardon by President Donald Trump, who knew who I was,

00:04:00.660 and he knew I was innocent the entire time. But make no mistake, millions of dollars in legal

00:04:06.680 bills, years of harassment, and the permanent smear on my name are scars that still remain.

00:04:14.420 The New York Times, the Washington Post, the Wall Street Journal, and all the rest,

00:04:18.420 They've all failed to report that Special Counsel Robert Mueller's final, unredacted report, which was only released because of the order of a federal judge, grudgingly admitted that Mueller had found no evidence of Russian collusion, WikiLeaks collaboration, or any other crime on my part.

00:04:38.900 In fact, Mueller admitted that the barriers to prosecuting me for any such crimes were, quote, factual, unquote.

00:04:47.200 Arctic frost is just the newest and most sinister extension of this political persecution.

00:04:53.300 Its very name is telling a frost meant to chill, to freeze, to intimidate any American who dares question the regime, organize politically or exercise their free speech rights.

00:05:07.620 They don't need to win convictions. They just need to destroy your life.

00:05:12.420 They just need to send a message. Cross us and we will bankrupt you. 0.77

00:05:16.980 We will destroy you. It's lawfare. 0.97

00:05:19.580 This is not democracy. It's tyrannical government festooned in business suits.

00:05:25.100 The Biden Justice Department, propped up by Comey loyalists still infesting the FBI today, 0.99

00:05:30.640 and their useful idiots in the media, are running an operation more suited to East Germany's Stasi 0.99

00:05:37.000 than the United States. This and all their lawfare offenses will fail. The American people are waking 1.00

00:05:43.300 up, finally. Unfortunately, the brutal political assassination of Charlie Kirk has only sped up

00:05:50.300 this process. They're beginning to see the double standard, the selective prosecution,

00:05:55.400 the fabricated charges. The American people now see that while Hunter Biden commits

00:06:00.440 firearms-related crimes, sells access to the Oval Office like they were candy bars,

00:06:05.800 and receives a preemptive pardon, the Republicans are dragged through the fires of hell

00:06:10.400 for paperwork errors or political free speech.

00:06:13.940 They see the scales of justice tip like a carnival game.

00:06:18.060 Therefore, I must wonder, why would Hunter Biden need a preemptive pardon?

00:06:23.280 Ask yourself the same.

00:06:24.900 If the Biden crime family was never involved in anything deleterious,

00:06:29.220 then why the need for a pardon at all for each and every one of them and preemptively at that?

00:06:35.560 So just as we survive the lies of the Russian collusion hoax, we will also survive Operation Arctic Frost.

00:06:43.960 We will expose it for what it is, a political vendetta masquerading as an investigation.

00:06:49.780 When the reckoning comes, and it will.

00:06:52.740 History books will show that this era of weaponized lawfare was the death rattle of a corrupt establishment that feared the people more than it loved the truth.

00:07:02.920 Thank you for joining us today in the Stone Zone here on the Red Apple Audio Networks.

00:07:08.660 The scandal of Charles McGonagall is something that is of great interest to me because, you see, it's no mere footnote in history.

00:07:16.840 It is still a festering, malignant sore on the face of American justice.

00:07:22.940 Charles McGonagall is no mere footnote in history.

00:07:25.740 It is the most brazen example of the FBI's arrogance, corruption, and crimes against the American people.

00:07:35.080 You see, McGonigal was a high-level FBI official who was charged with accepting bribes when he should have been charged with both espionage and treason.

00:07:45.460 And no mistake about it, this sordid peril of betrayal and deception is very, very far from over.

00:07:52.520 You see, Charles McGonigal was once the exalted head or crowned head of the counterintelligence kingdom at the FBI's all-powerful New York field office.

00:08:04.200 But he wasn't simply dabbling with Russia and Albania.

00:08:08.100 The officer of the Inspector General of the FBI has now confirmed that many of us have always long suspected.

00:08:15.380 His tentacles extended into China as well as none other than the not-so-casual association with the Biden crime family.

00:08:25.420 China, the very adversary waging an unrelenting war on America's economy, our health, our sovereignty, and our future, he was in bed with them. 0.62

00:08:35.480 Where else did McGonagall's treachery reach? 0.92

00:08:37.900 Who else within the upper echelons of American law enforcement and intelligence service was in league with him?

00:08:44.240 profiteering on America's vulnerabilities, 0.98

00:08:46.780 beating at the trough of betrayal like barnyard pigs. 0.94

00:08:50.140 And yet, what punishment did this so-called rogue FBI operative receive 0.96

00:08:56.080 for his colossal catalog of sins?

00:08:59.420 A laughable 78 months in federal prison. 0.50

00:09:03.060 78 months for a man who consorted with foreign agents,

00:09:07.920 betrayed this nation, compromised national security,

00:09:11.120 and spat in the face of the very sacred oath he swore to uphold.

00:09:15.880 In fact, McGonagall's sentence has been now efficiently shortened twice.

00:09:21.780 No espionage charges, no treason charges, no asset forfeiture, no tax fraud charges,

00:09:29.020 no further investigative work to uncover McGonagall's involvement in any other illicit financial activities.

00:09:35.700 None. That alone is extraordinary.

00:09:38.400 In virtually every corruption and foreign agent case, the government seizes all ill-gotten gains.

00:09:45.660 But here, McGonigal's prosecution was tidied up with the help of the Biden Justice Department

00:09:51.020 and swept away with surgical neatness as though to erase the evidence trail.

00:09:56.800 And where is the U.S. Treasury Department?

00:09:59.700 Why no action from the Office of Foreign Assets Control to enforce economic sanctions?

00:10:05.280 Why no action from the Financial Crimes Enhancement Network, or FinCEN?

00:10:10.780 Why no sanctions into this matter from the IRS's criminal division into the crimes against our nation, which Charles McGonigal reasonably conspired to violate?

00:10:21.980 Violating United States economic sanctions is not some small technical infraction.

00:10:27.820 It is a crime of the highest order.

00:10:29.920 It undermines the very foundation of American foreign policy and national security.

00:10:36.520 Yet there have been no meaningful investigations into tax fraud, no forensic accounting of his offshore dealings, no scrutiny of money laundering through crypto or shell corporations.

00:10:47.660 Instead, what we have is silence, silence from the media and silence from the government.

00:10:53.080 Why? Well, because the Biden Justice Department desperately wanted you to believe that Charles McGonagall was just one rotten apple, one bad man, one isolated disgrace.

00:11:05.160 Nothing systemic, nothing to see here.

00:11:07.640 In truth, McGonagall was the senior counterintelligence czar, a member of the carnivorous cabal created by FBI director James Comey.

00:11:18.040 McGonagall in his day was a major Washington and New York power broker.

00:11:21.680 He was the gatekeeper to America's most sensitive secrets.

00:11:26.260 McGonagall could not possibly have acted alone.

00:11:29.320 He was part of a network.

00:11:30.940 He was a select one of a few in the Comey group, the same shadowy clique of corrupt officials and deep state assassins who concocted the phony Russian collusion hoax, the largest single dirty trick in American political history.

00:11:46.200 That was a witch hunt that ensnared me personally, reading to my false arrest and politically motivated conviction.

00:11:54.600 McGonagall was arrested quietly with little fanfare, with no more than 11 people at the top tier of the New York City law enforcement and Justice Department officials in the know.

00:12:05.240 By contrast, my false arrest was for much less serious allegations, allegations that were proven to be untrue by the full and unredacted Mueller report.

00:12:15.540 was brought to you on live TV by the FBI and their sponsors, CNN.

00:12:21.200 Twenty-nine heavily armed FBI agents in full SWAT gear

00:12:25.240 and brandishing fully automatic M4 assault weapons

00:12:28.920 stored my home at six o'clock in the morning

00:12:30.860 to arrest me for the alleged crime of lying under oath to Congress

00:12:34.980 regarding Russian collusion that we now know definitively never actually happened.

00:12:41.200 McGonagall, on the other hand, was allowed to quietly surrender.

00:12:45.380 This incurious media dutifully played its part with McGonagall's scandal,

00:12:50.840 treating this as a two- or three-day story and moving right along.

00:12:54.860 No inquisitiveness, no digging, no appetite to pull the loose thread

00:12:59.280 that would unravel the tapestry of corruption deep inside the FBI and the DOJ.

00:13:05.420 Instead, the media served as a propaganda arm for the Biden administration,

00:13:10.060 repeating the lie that McGonagall was an outlier, not the norm.

00:13:13.960 The scandal came and went in a flash.

00:13:16.980 They chose silence because exposing McGonagall would fully expose them, too.

00:13:21.780 I can tell you there's no doubt in my mind, nor the minds of many others, that Charles McGonagall's crimes against our country were a solo operation with only one participant in the Bureau.

00:13:32.240 That is an absurdity.

00:13:34.040 You're listening to The Stone Zone.

00:13:47.020 On the Red Apple Podcast Network

00:13:50.320 Welcome back

00:13:52.500 You are re-entering the Stone Zone

00:13:55.300 President Donald Trump announced in a truth social post

00:13:58.940 That he's initiating a $15 billion defamation lawsuit

00:14:03.660 Against the New York Times

00:14:04.880 Calling it one of the worst and most degenerate newspapers

00:14:07.840 In the history of our country

00:14:09.760 In the post, President Trump said

00:14:12.020 I view it as the single largest illegal campaign contribution ever.

00:14:15.800 Their endorsement of Kamala Harris was actually put dead center on the front page of The New York Times,

00:14:21.660 something heretofore unheard of.

00:14:24.080 The Times has engaged in a decades-long method of lying about your favorite president,

00:14:29.420 that would be Donald Trump, his family, his business, the America First movement, MAGA, and our nation as a whole.

00:14:37.380 President Trump also cited recent lawsuits against ABC News and CBS News,

00:14:42.500 which is forcing their parent companies to capitulate and change their policies.

00:14:47.780 It's clear that the fake news is scared of President Trump, and they should be.

00:14:51.600 They were caught lying and manipulating elections, and it's time to pay the piper.

00:14:56.380 Hopefully, President Trump's lawsuit causes The New York Times to go out of business.

00:15:00.360 Humanity, in my opinion, would be much better off for it.

00:15:04.540 Meanwhile, the Georgia Supreme Court has declined to review a ruling from a lower court that finally banned Fulton County attorney Fannie Willis from participating in a prosecution of President Trump and his eight co-defendants.

00:15:20.520 Willis was booted from the case after it was shown that she had an illicit affair with Nathan Wade, who was a personal injury attorney who she then made a special prosecutor.

00:15:31.500 She hired him in the Trump case.

00:15:34.800 Winnis whined about the Georgia Supreme Court decision afterwards, saying,

00:15:38.700 No Georgia court has ever disqualified a district attorney for mere appearance of impropriety without the existence of an actual conflict of interest.

00:15:47.780 And no Georgia court has ever reversed a trial court's order declining to disqualify a prosecutor based solely on an appearance of impropriety. 0.60

00:15:57.980 This low IQ, DEI diversity hire is truly delusional.

00:16:04.420 This is the first time in Fonnie's entitled life that where there's been anything handed to her,

00:16:09.360 it was not because of merit, but because of the color of her skin that she's been held accountable.

00:16:15.020 This is privilege that you and I could never dream of possessing, by the way.

00:16:18.980 But with Willis out of the picture, the frivolous case can finally be dismissed,

00:16:23.420 similar to the cases of the pro-Trump electors in Michigan, which was dismissed in court last

00:16:28.820 week. It's time to end all of these lawfare charges that were clearly designed to intimidate

00:16:34.580 President Trump and his supporters and interfere with the election results. Meanwhile, an ABC News

00:16:42.700 reporter said that he found the murderer Tyler Robinson, the man accused of killing Charlie

00:16:49.280 Kirk's alleged notes with his transgendered lover to be touching following their release

00:16:55.840 by federal authorities. ABC's Matt Gutman said that Robinson's text messages were very touching

00:17:02.340 in a way, and I think that many of us did not expect that. A very intimate portrait into their

00:17:07.320 relationship between the suspect's roommate and himself, with him reportedly calling his roommate,

00:17:12.940 who was transitioning, my love. You can't make this stuff up. I want to protect you,

00:17:18.460 my love, Gutman said to the alleged murderer. I'm Roger Stone. You're listening to The Stone

00:17:24.320 Zone right here on the Red Apple Audio Networks. Don't go away, because we'll be right back with

00:17:30.680 more hot political news. The Stone Zone on the Red Apple Podcast Network.

00:17:41.020 The Stone Zone on the Red Apple Podcast Network.

00:17:45.840 President Donald Trump has come out and said that he supports Antifa being formally classified as a terrorist organization.

00:17:55.340 President Trump told reporters he could classify Antifa as a terrorist group 100% if he had the support from people like his attorney general, Pam Bondi.

00:18:05.180 President Trump also said there are some other groups who are pretty radical and that they got away with murder.

00:18:11.580 One of those groups President Trump is referring to may be the armed queers of Salt Lake City, who are now reportedly under investigation over alleged ties to the brutal political assassination of my friend Charlie Kirk.

00:18:27.900 President Trump has also said that his administration is looking at hitting the Soros network with RICO charges.

00:18:34.000 That would be George Soros, the Hungarian billionaire, and his son Alex.

00:18:40.300 This would be a great start, but it must encompass much more than just the Soros Network.

00:18:47.140 There are thousands of subversive groups that make up the backbone of this leftist network.

00:18:53.040 They control the National Democrat Party.

00:18:56.280 They have listened and understand that the core of the Democrat Party is supporters of violence and terrorism against Christians.

00:19:05.200 All of these subversive left-wing groups must be rooted out, and most importantly, their financial support from our tax dollars must be ended, because it is absolutely clear that USAID has been funding these political activities against the American people.

00:19:27.300 That's right. Your tax dollars and mine are funding this propaganda war against President Donald Trump and anyone who agrees with him.

00:19:36.780 President Trump must do his enemies, what the President Biden and his folks tried to do to his supporters.

00:19:44.040 He has the mandate. Let them rue the day they decided to expand and abuse federal power.

00:19:50.580 The time has come, in my opinion, for a great, great reckoning.

00:19:55.340 Meanwhile, George Zinn, the 71-year-old provocateur who sprung into action and falsely claimed he shot Charlie Kirk last week, has now been hit with charges relating to child abuse.

00:20:09.980 He's also charged with endangering justice and with possession of child pornography.

00:20:17.140 Zinn ended up at the scene of the assassination of Charlie Kirk last week,

00:20:21.500 where, after the shooting, he immediately caused a diversion that allowed the shooter to get away.

00:20:28.760 Zinn claims that he had no foreknowledge of what was going to take place,

00:20:32.860 and he did it instinctively because he wanted the killer to make a clean getaway

00:20:37.620 because he felt that Kirk deserved to be brutally murdered.

00:20:42.200 That's a likely story.

00:20:43.700 As we know, the feds have regularly used pedophiles and child abusers as their assets.

00:20:50.760 Think about, for example, Jeffrey Epstein, because they're easy to control.

00:20:56.360 So perhaps Mr. Zinn falls into that category.

00:21:00.080 If his charges of holding child abuse content, in other words, kiddie porn, on his cell phone disappear,

00:21:07.900 Or if he slapped on the wrist, this will be a dead giveaway that Zinn was the Ray Epps of the Charlie Kirk assassination.

00:21:18.180 Meanwhile, Attorney General Pam Bondi has declared a war on hate speech.

00:21:23.520 Following the assassination of Charlie Kirk, Attorney General Pam Bondi is going to war against hate speech,

00:21:29.980 telling anyone, regardless of where they are on the political spectrum, 0.72

00:21:33.320 that they will be targeted if they say things the government deems hateful.

00:21:38.500 Now, I personally find this to be a slippery slope because, well, I'm a free speech absolutist.

00:21:45.860 In fact, I believe the First Amendment particularly protects speech which is repugnant, that is, disgraceful, that is, disgusting.

00:21:57.340 That's not the same thing as shouting fire in a crowded theater.

00:22:02.600 Clearly, when people are making threats of violence, I think that goes beyond the bounds of free speech.

00:22:09.280 But straight opinion, no matter how disgusting you or I may find it, must be legal, must be protected.

00:22:18.220 I don't necessarily agree with the attorney general, which says there's free speech and then there's hate speech.

00:22:23.860 And there's no place, especially now, especially after what happened to Charlie in our society.

00:22:28.420 She says that they will target and go after you if you are targeting anyone with hate speech.

00:22:34.780 Once again, this is well-intentioned, but it is a very fine line.

00:22:40.500 What she says flies in the face of what defenders of the Constitution support, including what Charlie himself said.

00:22:48.280 In an ex-post last year, Charlie said hate speech does not legally exist in America.

00:22:55.420 There's ugly speech, there's gross speech, there's evil speech, but all of it is protected by the First Amendment.

00:23:03.460 We must keep America free.

00:23:05.940 Attorney General Bondi would be wise to listen to Charlie Kirk's wise words,

00:23:10.920 drop this hate speech crackdown and focus on using powers given to the federal government for the war on terror

00:23:19.040 and target and eliminate radical leftist terrorists like Antifa and Black Lives Matter,

00:23:25.800 who financed the assault on the American people in 2020, 0.88

00:23:31.640 destroying millions of dollars of both public and private property, injuring thousands and killing hundreds.

00:23:39.560 That's a better use of federal power.

00:23:41.960 When the deputy White House chief of staff, Stephen Miller, joined Vice President J.D. Vance hosting Charlie Kirk's show days ago, they rightfully said that they would target these terrorist networks that are financing violence and mayhem and yes, death against the American people.

00:24:04.400 To me, that is the correct response of government.

00:24:07.660 So a judge dropped terrorism charges against alleged murderer Luigi Mangione, resulting in cheers of glee from female Democrats who become infatuated with the man accused of gunning down a health care CEO in cold blood in the streets of New York City only last year.

00:24:27.380 Despite Mangione's screeds about politics and his hatred of the health care system and authorities claiming that Mangione wrote delay, deny and depose, a reference to unethical practices used by insurers to deny health care to individuals on the bullet casings used in the murder.

00:24:48.420 It was determined by a federal judge that there was no political motive behind the killings of UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson.

00:24:58.680 So now Mangione will face only second-degree murder charges.

00:25:04.280 Mangione's gaggle of Democrat admirers could not be happier. 1.00

00:25:08.520 Anywhere you go today on social media, there are countless liberal women who express their desire to get with Mangione. 1.00

00:25:15.640 Those women will never have children, find the patriarchy oppressive, find Christianity abhorrent, but they will happily hook up with a violent terrorist killer. 0.85

00:25:28.620 You can't make this stuff up.

00:25:31.180 Meanwhile, President Donald Trump says he believes that Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky is going to have to make a deal for the war with Russia to end.

00:25:41.080 President Trump has bemoaned the fact that Zelensky and President of Russia, Vladimir Putin, hate each other.

00:25:49.260 And it looks like I have to sit in the room with them because they can't sit in a room together alone.

00:25:55.880 President Trump is clearly sick of handholding everyone through this entire peace process, and he wants the war to end.

00:26:03.280 in order to bring Putin to the table, President Trump is pressuring countries in the European

00:26:09.560 Union to stop buying Russian oil. He's threatened to bribe a massive tariff on Russia if the nations

00:26:17.200 in the EU will join them. Thus far, the EU has been unwilling to act. You see, they want the

00:26:23.740 war to continue. At the same time, they want to buy oil from Russia. Everyone hopes that America

00:26:30.020 will fit the bill for the globalist project in Ukraine. We're not going to foot the bill any 0.80

00:26:35.540 further. President Trump is showing them otherwise. He might have to cut Ukraine off completely,

00:26:41.080 which would mean no more money for the play after Zelensky from U.S. aid and weapons in order for

00:26:48.520 this conflict to end. Zelensky better make a deal fast before President Trump's generosity

00:26:54.760 and his patients were completely thin.

00:26:59.400 Meanwhile, we learned that FBI Director Cash Patel and Senator Chuck Grassley

00:27:05.700 exposed the secret FBI program that targeted conservative groups like Turning Point USA.

00:27:13.120 This was revealed during a Senate Judiciary Committee meeting on Tuesday.

00:27:18.040 Senator Grassley brought up whistleblower testimony that exposed former FBI agents

00:27:23.580 Timmy Tebowl's launch of Arctic Frost, which was used by FBI Special Counsel Jack Smith,

00:27:31.900 to target pro-Trump electors who refused to rubber stamp election fraud in the 2020 election.

00:27:38.620 As I said earlier, Senator Grassley said that in total, 92 Republican targets, including

00:27:44.820 Republican groups and Republican-linked individuals, were placed under investigation under the

00:27:51.220 investigation Arctic Frost. Arctic Frost wasn't just a case to politically investigate Trump.

00:27:58.720 It was the vehicle by which partisan FBI agents and Department of Justice prosecutors

00:28:04.640 could achieve their partisan ends and improperly investigate and destroy the entire Republican

00:28:11.980 political apparatus. One of the groups targeted by Arctic Frost was supposed to be Turning Point

00:28:19.300 USA. Similar to Martin Luther King Jr., Charlie Kirk was apparently under surveillance by federal

00:28:27.320 authorities for years before he was assassinated. All of those responsible for Arctic Frost

00:28:34.180 deserve the same fate as the co-conspirators behind the Russiagate frame job, a lifetime

00:28:41.420 behind bars. From time to time, I talk about matters of style here on The Stone Zone,

00:28:49.680 particularly men's style. Well, every well-dressed gentleman must have an all-cotton Oxford cloth

00:28:56.660 button-down shirt. This is a shirt that was originally offered by Brooks Brothers, but today

00:29:01.940 I think Jay Press offers the best version. Kamakura, a Japanese purveyor, also has a superior

00:29:10.200 version, but their customer service is not all that dependable. The shirt's button-down collar

00:29:16.200 was originally called a polo collar, as the button-down feature was designed so that the

00:29:21.480 collar would remain in place instead of flapping up in your face during a vigorous game of polo.

00:29:27.520 This classic, an import originally from England, was actually first sighted in 1897

00:29:33.600 on the polo fields of Long Island, New York.

00:29:38.040 F. Scott Fitzgerald, Bobby Kennedy Sr., George H.W. Bush, and Andy Warhol,

00:29:44.740 the artists, all sported the style on occasion.

00:29:48.260 Fiat industrialist and notorious playboy Gianni Agnelli famously wore his wristwatch

00:29:55.240 on the outside of the right cuff of his.

00:29:58.680 You see, the role of the collar is crucial.

00:30:02.600 Lower budget makers never get the collar roll or the length of the collar points exactly right.

00:30:09.060 J-Press, more recently, has mastered this.

00:30:12.660 Eschewing the Permanent Press non-iron model is crucial.

00:30:16.500 The longer you own this all-cotton shirt, the more times you wash it, the softer and more comfortable it will become.

00:30:24.280 Considered an informal dress shirt, it's acceptable with a blazer, a sports jacket, or a single-breasted suit.

00:30:31.640 usually paired with a regimental striped tie, a knit tie, or a saucy-looking bow tie.

00:30:37.500 Never wear a button-down collared shirt with a double-breasted suit, by the way.

00:30:41.660 The more formal double-breasted suit looks best with the more formal spread or long-point collar.

00:30:48.060 Now, the famous dancer, actor, movie star, Fred Astaire, broke this rule, but then you're not Fred Astaire.

00:30:55.940 An Oxford cloth button-down shirt with an unfashioned collar,

00:30:59.760 rolled up sleeves and jeans makes for a comfortable, casual look.

00:31:04.000 The shirt traditionally comes in white, light blue, pink,

00:31:08.660 blue and white stripes, and pink and white stripes.

00:31:11.360 It also comes in yellow, but yellow is a tricky color for most men,

00:31:15.580 depending on their complexion and their coloring.

00:31:18.740 Yellow looks good with a brown suit, but then a brown suit never actually looks good.

00:31:23.460 Speaking of the white button-down Oxford cloth shirt, there's one other thing a true gentleman cannot live without, and that is the black silk-knotted square-bottom tie.

00:31:33.880 It's literally indispensable.

00:31:36.340 No true gentleman would be without one.

00:31:39.060 They can be twisted, old, knotted, and will perform for decades, if not forever.

00:31:43.840 Such a tie has saved my life on numerous occasions.

00:31:47.040 For example, you're wearing jeans and a blazer.

00:31:49.860 It's Friday, but you're called into a meeting with the boss.

00:31:52.640 Voila! The black knit dress tie dresses up your outfit, moving you from Friday slob to the Euro look.

00:32:01.180 By the way, you can't pull this off if you're stupid enough to be wearing a t-shirt in the office. 0.98

00:32:05.840 Or, you're dashing across the airport to catch that last fright from LaGuardia to Miami. 0.99

00:32:12.300 The latch on your suitcase breaks open, threaten to pull your finery and your toiletries all over the ground.

00:32:17.980 You whip off your indestructible black knit tie, lash the case closed, and you make your flight.

00:32:25.420 Or you're driving your Alfa Romeo Spyder or other similar cool sports car through the Swiss Alps when you run out of petrol.

00:32:34.060 A passerby in a Citroen van offers you a tow but lacks a line.

00:32:38.720 Off comes the tie, which you lash bumper to bumper.

00:32:41.820 Problem solved. 0.98

00:32:43.220 Or you're in an Italian joint in the Bronx.

00:32:47.280 A guido makes a slur against your mother.

00:32:50.080 You come up behind him, slip off your black knit tie, and you garret him Luca Brazzi style. 0.51

00:32:56.580 In the rough and tumble world of politics, media, and life, the black silk knitted tie is indeed indispensable.

00:33:20.260 Welcome back into The Stone Zone.

00:33:22.920 I'm Roger Stone.

00:33:25.060 New York State Attorney General Letitia James, 0.97

00:33:28.380 long claiming to be a public champion of tenants' rights,

00:33:31.820 has herself been in violation of New York City's rent stabilization laws

00:33:36.240 for more than two decades.

00:33:38.440 Since purchasing a four-story apartment building at 296 Lafayette Avenue in Brooklyn in 2001,

00:33:47.180 by the way, that's a matter of public record,

00:33:49.680 James has failed to register the property with the New York State Division of Housing

00:33:53.620 and community renewal as required for rent-stabilized buildings.

00:33:58.380 By failing to register, she denied her tenants the protections of rent stabilization

00:34:03.760 while collecting rents above the legally regulated amount for 24 years.

00:34:10.260 New York's Housing Code is based on its Rent Stabilization Law of 1969

00:34:16.580 and was designed to shield tenants from large rent increases,

00:34:21.300 unlawful deregulation, and eviction notices.

00:34:25.220 It sets yearly allowable rent increases, typically at around 3% a year.

00:34:31.040 The law applies to qualifying buildings who requires landlords to register with the DHCR and file annual reports on tenants, rents, and lease terms.

00:34:45.000 The New York Department of Buildings, or the DOB, issues certificates of occupancy to establish the legal number of units and properties.

00:34:54.280 That designation is the one and only controlling legal authority for unit count.

00:35:01.500 The three most recent certificates of occupancy for the property owned by Letitia James are authorized as a seven-family unit with the building originally designated as a Class A multiple dwelling.

00:35:17.700 That was in 1961.

00:35:19.880 1981, two decades later, the legal unit count was reduced to four apartments, reflecting on unauthorized combining of units.

00:35:29.460 Then in 2001, the certificate of occupancy is updated.

00:35:33.660 The building now reflects a five-family dwelling, which remains its designation today.

00:35:40.560 The Rent Stabilization Act of 1969 said that any building constructed before January 1, 1974, with six or more apartments, is subject to rent stabilization laws.

00:35:53.440 The critical point for Letitia James is that according to the 1961 Certificate of Occupancy, the last one before the passage of the rent stabilization law in 1969, her building in the Bronx had seven units.

00:36:08.040 This means that when the law took effect in 1969, James' building was permanently entered into rent stabilization.

00:36:16.380 Once a building is subject to rent stabilization, that status runs with the building forever.

00:36:22.420 Later reductions down to four units or back up to five units can never be legally used to strip the building of its original rent stabilization regulatory status.

00:36:34.200 Letitia James continues to say that no one is above the law, but evidently that's not true. 0.51

00:36:40.380 Because when it comes to the rent stabilization laws of New York City, Letitia James continues to be above the law. 0.86

00:36:49.480 When will she be brought to justice? 1.00
