00:03:27.700So all of those people who are saying that the midterm elections are going to be a bloodbath for Republicans, I don't think they understand the volatility of our elections, nor do I think they understand how any large cataclysmic event, such as a peace agreement, could change the equation almost immediately overnight.
00:03:49.020I recognize this because I'm a veteran of 13 national presidential campaigns, having worked in two presidential campaigns for Richard Nixon, three presidential campaigns for Ronald Reagan, 1976, 1980, and 1984, and of course worked on the recount for George W. Bush in 2000.
00:04:10.400And that was a matter of party duty rather than something that would have been my preference.
00:04:15.560And, of course, one of the earliest people in the country to suggest to Donald Trump that he should make a serious bid for the presidency.
00:04:25.860For the first time ever, the Republican Party is holding a national midterm convention.
00:04:30.960Not a presidential convention, but one right now when, frankly, I think it most matters.

Vance, the cabinet members, House and Senate leaders, governors, and a fighting slate of candidates will take the stage with real American workers, families, first responders, and other job creators.

00:21:16.860And Alberta and Saskatchewan, Alberta's larger,
00:21:20.760such a price was so small, but both of them are,
00:21:22.740that's where the oil and the gas and the raw earth intramurals are.
00:21:27.220That is where the mining of national resources,
00:21:33.460That's where business is done, and there are very active movements in both Alberta and Saskatchewan to seek their independence.
00:21:43.940Now, if they do that, and of course the federal government is defeating them, is fighting them, but their constitution is pretty clear.
00:21:50.160If the votes by a majority put it on a ballot through a partition process, and then a vote of a majority of people voted, those states would become independent.
00:21:57.760And they, of course, could then apply for sense to be stateship, you know, statehood, I should say.
00:22:03.780And both Alberta and Saskatchewan, who are the two wealthiest of the two provinces in terms of natural resources and business, would become part of the United States.

00:23:05.540So Trump is kind of like Theodore Roosevelt in the way he loves to kind of tease and troll his political enemies.
00:23:13.000And it is, of course, is where Trump dimension syndrome comes from.
00:23:18.240Absolutely, Roger. And it's been prevalent throughout his first presidency and now his second presidency.
00:23:24.180You know, an issue that we can kind of dovetail with this is Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer's opinion on this fight.
00:23:32.120He's actually called for the U.S. to drop all tariffs on Canada, essentially allowing Canada to take advantage of the American consumer at every turn, Roger.
00:23:40.900And that's why I want to get your thoughts not only on Schumer's response to this, but, you know, it seems to me he's facing a bigger battle within his own party just to maintain control of the Senate, because as you've talked about and we've talked about here on the airwaves many times, whether it's AOC or Syed or many other DSA candidates throughout the Democratic Party, Senator Schumer seems to be on their hit list.
00:24:04.840He's somebody that they're coming after. And I want to get your thoughts on Schumer kind of attacking Trump, but really failing to recognize in public the real threat he faces of being replaced from within his own party.
00:24:15.780Chuck Schumer has been spending an enormous amount of time in upstate New York recently. This is a man who's running for his life. He's also a man who realizes he has overstayed his welcome.
00:24:24.380He recently showed up in the 21st district where Elise Stefanik is retiring, and Anthony
00:24:30.560Constantino won that Republican primary for a record number.
00:24:34.540There's a local farmer, Blake Jendabeen, who's really tried to hide the fact that he supported
00:25:25.120But anyone who does not recognize the grassroots appeal among the far left and her ability to raise multi-millions of dollars need to be afraid.
00:25:36.100In all honesty, I think that no white Catholic Democrat candidate can win a Democrat primary in New York City anymore given the vast demographic changes in New York State.
00:25:48.940I think Chuck Schumer is increasing his profile, defending the pro-Chinese communist government of Canada in an effort to save his own seat in what I think will be and could be a challenge from AOC.
00:26:05.320Well, Roger, and that leads me to my next question, because you've been involved with Republican politics for so many decades.
00:26:11.180You've seen so many candidates come and go.
00:26:13.700And so you uniquely understand the appeal that especially Republican candidates have to have to win in a general election, especially on the national stage.
00:26:21.860So I want to ask you about how the Democrats are evolving as a party.
00:26:26.840I remember in the great documentary that I encourage everybody to check out on Netflix, Get Me Roger Stone.
00:26:34.060It's talked about in that documentary, and you've talked about many times, how the Reagan
00:26:37.900Democrat was crucial for Ronald Reagan's election in the 1980s, twice, both times Democrats
00:26:45.860left their party to vote for Ronald Reagan.
00:26:49.200In the current day, Roger, do you think it's realistic for Republicans to bank on that?
00:26:53.300And adding to that question, do you think Republicans have effectively countered the
00:26:57.560messaging of the DSA yet heading into the midterm elections?
00:27:01.480It's a two-part question. Let me try to answer it. First of all, the reason that Donald Trump won when Mitt Romney lost and John McCain lost is because Donald Trump has demonstrated this unique ability to vote, to win the votes of blue-collar ethnic Catholic Democrats, which are part of the old Nixon-Reagan coalition who left and voted for Bill Clinton.
00:30:20.960Should the Democrats win the House, I think you can expect it.
00:30:23.620But remember, in the Senate, it is a two-thirds majority.
00:30:28.020So that gives you some idea what is at stake in these upcoming elections.
00:30:32.040The midterm is not simply about who chairs the Agriculture Committee, for example.
00:30:36.360A Democrat House should become a subpoena factory on day one.
00:30:39.240The same people who spent years telling Americans that President Trump was the greatest threat to democracy are preparing another round of investigations and they say it's revenge and retaliation when really what it is is accountability and justice.
00:30:54.760Americans already lived through Russiagate, two phony impeachments, and less congressional theater and lawfare designed to cripple the president politically after opponents could not beat his agenda.
00:31:04.540So should they win? They'll repeat that all over again if the Democrats are able to wrestle away control of Congress from the Republicans.
00:31:11.120So the message for November should be quite simple if you ask me. Voters want two more years of border enforcement, tax cuts, energy production, American policy, then they'll keep the House Republican, and that is more than possible.
00:31:22.860He really boils down to about 35 or perhaps 38 individual districts.
00:31:27.800And right now I can tell you the polling shows Republicans in ahead of every one of them.
00:31:32.320If they want another parade of hearings, family subpoenas and impeachment circus every afternoon, well, they can vote for the Democrats.

00:31:44.140And you will see the recriminations return.
00:31:50.320And it's the antithesis of what you're hearing from James Carville and others who are kind of sounding the rallying cry, of course, trying to get everybody hyped up heading into these midterms.
00:32:00.500They're hoping that the anti-Trump vote is going to be strong enough to carry candidates that I think in many areas lack substance.
00:32:08.840And one of those candidates that I wanted to ask you about, because it's become such a hot button issue, and I want to preface this by saying, you know, you, Roger, know and I know that there's a lot of Republican strategists out there,
00:32:18.900A lot of people within the political complex of this country that will tell you that, oh, this race is close and that race is close when they know it's not the case because they can make money off of the vast amounts of mailers and political advertising, whether it be through media or on the ground, wherever it may be.
00:32:35.000And I've seen you talk about that as well.
00:32:37.100One of the areas that strategists – I just saw Karl Rove on Fox News talking about – is Texas.
00:32:43.200They're talking about how Texas is so close.
00:32:45.400And, of course, we have John Cornyn, who is not heading back to the Senate.
00:32:49.300He's going to be retired as he was defeated in the primary by Ken Paxton.
00:32:54.120He's going up against Democrat James Tallarico in the general.
00:32:58.100And a lot of people are saying, Roger, that this could be the year that Texas goes blue.
00:35:32.440And then secondarily, I made this point in the opening.
00:35:35.200The fact that the convention, the midterm convention is happening in Texas, means that even when the national media seeks a blackout of much of what happens, the speeches by the president, the speech by the vice president, it will get incredible coverage in Texas.
00:35:53.360And Ken Pax is among the winners there.
00:35:56.820Also, a story earlier this week was completely wrong, said that Trump was not going to open his $400 million war chest at MAGA, Inc., and that Elon Musk's America PAC was not going to spend in Texas when the exact opposite has happened.
00:36:18.080We now know that Elon Musk has, in fact, opened his first initial spending.
00:36:24.460He's began spending in the early, he spent writing a check for $247,000 in early media speaking.
00:36:34.440So I think, again, at the end, I believe Ken Paxton will win that seat over Tal Rico.
00:36:41.460But you're right to elevate that race.
00:36:43.400It is one the Democrats seem to think today that they have within their reach.
00:36:48.140Well, and I think there's a fatal flaw in the Democrat theory about Texas, Roger,
00:36:52.140And it lies in the subtle racism of the Democratic Party, which suggests that they can win votes by moving in people from Hispanic nations.
00:37:02.760And they think that people from Hispanic nations are going to vote for transgenderism and for even open borders.
00:37:10.320Yes, it's true, folks, that the people who don't like illegal immigration, possibly most in this country, are those who have come here legally.
00:37:17.740And the Democrats can't live with that fact.
00:37:19.800I think there's a lot of facts that they can't live with, Roger, and that's why they find themselves in this weird position.
00:37:25.680We talked about earlier about how a lot of the DSA candidates are going to hurt the Democrats on the main stage when they get to the general election where they have to appeal to the average American.
