00:02:00.700 Director Andrew McCabe. Department of Justice ultimately dropped the charges against Flynn,

00:02:06.820 and Flynn was pardoned in 2020. The Department of Justice has now reached a financial settlement

00:02:14.660 with General Flynn, bringing to closure one of the most grotesque miscarriages of justice

00:02:20.720 stemming from the whole Russia gate fiasco. Flynn, who had served as a national security

00:02:26.540 advisor under Trump, had sought $50 million in damages, arguing that he was the victim of a

00:02:32.620 politically motivated prosecution tied to the now thoroughly discredited Russian collusion narrative.
