The StoneZONE with Roger Stone - The Stone Zone ｜ 03-27-26

00:00:00.160 Did you know that St. Luke's University Health Network, based in the Lehigh Valley, Pennsylvania,

00:00:05.680 has been recognized by the U.S. government as the highest performing health system in the United States for quality?

00:00:12.140 You heard right.

00:00:13.320 St. Luke's number one recognition affirms our status as the top leader among the most respected health care providers in the nation,

00:00:20.400 including Houston Methodist and the Mayo Clinic.

00:00:23.120 To state it simply, if you want to receive the best care when you go to a hospital, come to St. Luke's.

00:00:30.740 The Stone Zone, entertaining and informative on the Red Apple Podcast Network.

00:00:37.800 And I'm Jake Novak filling in for Roger Stone again this evening.

00:00:41.720 And as we say, as we start this hour, obviously, we have a lot of breaking and developing news.

00:00:46.120 Just want to make sure everyone knows where we are with this whole shutdown thing and the TSA agents.

00:00:51.160 I think rightfully so.

00:00:52.320 I think actually the mainstream news media and the rest of the news media getting it right and emphasizing the fact that no matter what's going on right now,

00:00:59.740 between the House and the Senate and the White House, the TSA agents are going to get paid,

00:01:05.600 which presumably means they're going to start coming back to work in larger numbers and we'll

00:01:10.220 get these lines moving faster at all the airports as opposed to at some of them one day, some of

00:01:14.820 them another. That to me is the real breaking story. And there's a little bit of an added

00:01:18.580 caveat to that in that we really believe they're going to get their paychecks as soon as Monday.

00:01:24.340 I don't know why with direct deposit they can't get it on Saturday, but all right.

00:01:27.600 that's uh so that's really the biggest piece of news right now but that is still part of an

00:01:33.720 envelope of a package that includes the fact that the partial shutdown continues

00:01:37.680 senate republicans really caved to the democrats on some of their demands about ice they decided

00:01:44.020 to just vote for to try to get the dhs funded again in some way whatsoever well the house

00:01:51.260 republic is just not going for it just not going for it and i think that house speaker might

00:01:57.580 Johnson put it really clearly here why they aren't going for it right now. Listen to Speaker

00:02:03.140 Johnson. This has to stop. The Republicans are not going to be a party to this. They have taken

00:02:08.780 hostage the funding processes of government so that they can impose their radical agenda on the

00:02:13.980 American people when we can't have any part of it. This gambit that was done last night is a joke.

00:02:19.920 I'm quite convinced that it can't be that every Senate Republican read the language of this bill.

00:02:25.720 And I'm going to I'm going to just read you one excerpt of it because it's pretty alarming and it says everything that you need to know in section four.

00:02:33.340 This is on page two of the bill. This is this is an actual it's an actual copy of the bill that that excerpt.

00:02:38.980 It says, quote, the contents printed under the headings of this bill, U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement and Border Security Operations,

00:02:48.740 under the heading of U.S. Customs and Border Patrol and Protection

00:02:52.480 shall have no force or effect for purposes of this act

00:02:57.160 and amounts specified in the final bill

00:02:59.940 under the subheading Border Security Operations

00:03:02.880 and under the heading U.S. Customs and Border Protection

00:03:05.720 and under the headings of U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement

00:03:10.060 and the Department of Homeland Security

00:03:12.360 shall be zero.

00:03:16.060 We're not doing that.

00:03:17.100 And it is unconscionable to me that the Democrats would force some sort of negotiation at three o'clock in the morning and try to hoist this among upon the American people and then get on their jets and go home for their holiday and pretend and think that we're going to go along with that.

00:03:31.820 Yeah, so no deal. And speaking of people getting on their jets and going home for the holiday, that includes Republican Senate Majority Leader John Thune caught at the airport.

00:03:42.100 I assume this was Reagan National Airport. Lots of videos circulating, confirmed videos circulating online.

00:03:48.740 Some people trying to ask him some questions. He's just moving along.

00:03:52.660 And Mike Johnson, you got it. This is a guy who has really weathered a lot of storms.

00:03:58.020 I know there's a lot of you listening, don't like him, you don't trust him, you don't think he's MAGA enough.

00:04:03.140 Okay, but you've got to give him credit for, first of all, staying in office as long as he's had.

00:04:07.020 Remember, we just had revolving doors with the speakers at the House,

00:04:10.520 and he's been managing to get a number of bills passed with this razor-thin majority that he has.

00:04:16.580 And he's losing his patience here a little bit with his fellow Republicans in the Senate specifically, as you heard.

00:04:22.460 He's not the only one who's angry.

00:04:23.680 Chip Roy, who's another guy that MAGA World doesn't like all that much as far as a Republican.

00:04:28.280 He's a House member from Texas, but he also has some really strong words.

00:04:32.380 The next half hour, you'll hear what he had to say because he really backs up Johnson in a really interesting way.

00:04:38.080 Now, folks, I just want to take a little bit of a timeout just for one second here because it's 8.09 Eastern time.

00:04:43.220 We are now wrapping up the fourth week of a major U.S. war military action against Iran.

00:04:48.700 And isn't it remarkable that a government shutdown and TSA lines at the airport are the top story?

00:04:55.480 I mean, the war isn't even the top story.

00:04:57.980 Now, it's somewhat related to the story because, as a lot of people are correctly pointing out,

00:05:02.660 do we really want to have a Department of Homeland Security not fully funded at a time when we're going in a war against the world's number one terrorism country in Iran? 0.84

00:05:12.160 Well, you know, they're plotting stuff here on our homeland. 0.97

00:05:14.840 You know that.

00:05:15.400 but still we're talking about such a malpractice by congress right now and again it's the

00:05:23.860 democrats they have voted for and initiated this shutdown that is an objective fact you might

00:05:29.780 support that you might say hey i hate ice so much i believe in all the delusionary lies about ice

00:05:35.940 and i'm willing to burn the country down over it which has been the mo of the trump haters from

00:05:42.320 the beginning. You want to hate Donald Trump, you have every right to do so, but it's just amazing

00:05:46.520 how much they've gone from flipping the chessboard when they don't like Donald Trump to trying to

00:05:51.120 burn down the whole game room. This is another example of that. But I do want to get you updated

00:05:57.520 on a couple of things that are going on with the Iran war right now. First of all, a U.S. base in

00:06:05.260 Saudi Arabia, which is also shared with the Saudis, has been attacked. We're getting reports that

00:06:09.820 there are U.S. troops who were injured there. No reports of any troops killed. Four weeks into the

00:06:15.780 war now, we have 14 dead, 14 dead U.S. troops. One is too many. And I'm going to talk about,

00:06:22.140 though, the context of that kind of a number right now when we look at overall wars in history. And

00:06:26.680 I'll talk about that in the next half hour. But I think one of the biggest headlines today in the

00:06:32.440 war on Iran is that Secretary of State Marco Rubio saying that this is going to be a matter

00:06:37.040 of weeks, not months before this war ends. Now, does that mean that we're going to accept some

00:06:41.460 kind of partial victory? Does that mean that there's something big in the works? No way to

00:06:45.460 know that. And people who are speculating about that should probably not do that. But definitely

00:06:50.700 that was a problem. It should have been an encouraging word, I think, from Marco Rubio

00:06:54.920 for those people who are legitimately worried, not those who are trying to drum up fears without

00:06:59.360 any facts behind them. But for those of you who are legitimately worried that this war is going

00:07:04.120 to go on for months and months and months you have to be encouraged by what marco rubio had to say

00:07:08.500 now rubio was also confronted on a tarmac today and asked about that trigger word that's being

00:07:15.840 used against the united states now just like it's been used against israel falsely in both in both

00:07:20.840 cases the word genocide here's what marco rubio had to say about that listen to this

00:07:25.240 The Iranian foreign minister, what he said at the UN, accusing the U.S. and Israel of genocide.

00:07:34.100 The Iranian? Oh, okay. Well, he's an expert in genocide. 0.97

00:07:37.520 They're experts in that because, you know, they sponsor terrorism all over the world.

00:07:41.300 And they've killed thousands and thousands of people. 0.99

00:07:44.640 Look at the Middle East. Look at the Middle East, guys. 1.00

00:07:47.180 Every problem in the Middle East tracks back to Iran. 0.91

00:07:49.820 Hezbollah? Iran. 0.95

00:07:51.440 Shia militias that are destroying and threatening Iraq, Iran. 0.69

00:07:55.580 Hamas, Iran. 0.60

00:07:57.020 The Houthis, Iran.

00:07:59.120 The Assad when he was in Syria, Iran. 0.94

00:08:03.900 The only kind, the way, I mean, everywhere you turn, they're behind all of it. 0.98

00:08:07.840 They are a destabilizing, dangerous, evil force that had to be dealt with.

00:08:12.020 They have to be weakened.

00:08:13.680 You know, when you're dealing with political debates in America today, probably all over the world, this isn't just an American thing.

00:08:21.640 I always struggle with this. 1.00

00:08:23.000 Am I dealing with someone who's an idiot? 1.00

00:08:24.820 I mean, really not educated, doesn't know what the meaning of words are, like genocide. 1.00

00:08:28.840 Genocide means the deliberate erasure of a people.

00:08:33.700 The United States is not doing any of that.

00:08:36.360 Israel's not doing any of that. 0.99

00:08:39.200 The Islamist terrorists are trying to do that. 0.98

00:08:41.300 They've been unsuccessful, well, with the exception of killing their own people. 1.00

00:08:44.940 Islamist terrorists kill more Muslims than Christians and Jews combined every single day of the week. 0.99

00:08:50.860 the kind of if you do it to yourself as a genocide i guess so self-genocide 0.99

00:08:55.680 but when you're fighting against terrorists and and targeting military targets and terrorist

00:09:03.100 targets that's not genocide that's not a partisan statement that's just a dictionary definition

00:09:08.420 of what genocide is and what it isn't i have to tell you i never know or hardly ever know when

00:09:15.220 i'm talking to someone about that whether they're just deliberately lying knowing what genocide

00:09:19.320 means and twisting it and trying to use it as a trigger word you know why they use that word

00:09:23.820 because the real victims of the worst genocide in human history the holocaust

00:09:28.600 still feel tremendously wounded about it and their children feel tremendously wounded by it and their

00:09:34.700 grandchildren feel tremendously wounded by it and it's a way to rub salt in a holocaust wound that's 0.60

00:09:39.920 why they use it they love to accuse the victims of the crime for which they are a victim of that's

00:09:44.880 an added torture that's why they do it but there also are some legitimate people who don't know

00:09:51.120 what genocide is so i always wonder about that and rubio wasn't having it rubio could have further

00:09:57.220 explained that the real genocide people people trying to commit genocide are the islamist who 0.95

00:10:01.720 make it very clear they want to kill all the jews and don't want to live with any jews that's 0.82

00:10:06.100 genocidal talk you've never heard any legitimate leader of israel or their military say let's get 0.99

00:10:11.440 rid of all the muslims they just don't that's not the policy the official policy of israel it's not 0.64

00:10:18.180 the official policy of the united states i shouldn't have to explain all of this but that's 1.00

00:10:22.880 the way things are going right now well when we come back we're going to talk we're going to talk

00:10:27.180 about ilan omar because vice president vance is talking about her and another congresswoman a

00:10:33.120 democrat congresswoman from another state and they're both doing something in common they're

00:10:36.540 playing the race card they're playing the islamophobia card we'll be right back on the

00:10:42.040 stone zone i'm jake novak filling in for roger the stone zone entertaining and informative

00:10:51.200 on the red apple podcast network and i'm jake novak filling in once again for roger stone thank

00:10:57.460 you so much for joining us on all the stations and podcasts and all the different outlets you

00:11:02.420 can use to listen to this program all over the world not just in the united states uh about 50

00:11:07.840 minutes after the hour 50 minutes after the hour i'm gonna talk a little bit about jim farley he's

00:11:13.620 the ceo of ford not really gonna bash him necessarily but wait until you hear two things

00:11:18.640 wait until you how much you hear how much he was paid for 2025 and wait to hear why he was paid so

00:11:25.440 much some folks uh really know how to stack the deck let's put it that way uh ilan omar the

00:11:31.480 Congresswoman from the Minnesota, Minneapolis area in Minnesota. 0.99

00:11:35.680 We all know who she is.

00:11:37.060 Somali immigrant, intense, intense critic of President Trump, big supporter of Hamas, 0.95

00:11:45.180 big supporter of terrorist groups all over the world, potentially on the payroll of Qatar

00:11:51.360 and other groups that act as clearinghouses for Iran, et cetera, et cetera.

00:11:56.020 and as we learn more and more potentially a major linchpin figure in all the fraud that's been

00:12:02.880 uncovered in minnesota this calendar year remember that was a big story a whole seven eight weeks ago

00:12:10.080 feels like a million years ago doesn't it well vice president jd vance is talking about one of

00:12:17.780 the biggest controversies about ilan omar which i have to admit when i first heard this controversy

00:12:21.740 Oh, I want to say it was like seven years ago. I thought it might be a trumped up thing, a phony thing.

00:12:29.260 But, you know, her responses to it over the years have only made it clearer that it's probably very well based.

00:12:36.260 In fact, well, here's what J.D. Vance had to say about it just today. Listen to this about Ilhan Omar and Tim Wally.

00:12:42.000 Obviously, Ilhan Omar, the president and the White House have been out saying she married her brother, that there is immigration fraud going on here.

00:12:50.300 These are deportable denaturalization offenses.

00:12:53.680 Can you give us an update on that?

00:12:55.220 Yeah, so we actually think that Ilhan Omar definitely committed immigration fraud against the United States of America.

00:13:01.320 And I talked to Steve Miller about this actually recently.

00:13:04.060 We're trying to look at what the remedies are.

00:13:06.180 That's the thing that we're trying to figure out is what are the legal remedies now that we know that she's committed immigration fraud?

00:13:11.740 How do you go after her? How do you investigate her? How do you actually do the thing?

00:13:15.040 How do you build a case necessary to get some some some justice for the American people? 0.99

00:13:20.640 There's a related issue, Benny, which is she has been at the center of a lot of the worst fraudsters in the Somalian community. 0.93

00:13:27.800 So do I know that Ilhan Omar was aware that the Quality Leering Center was defrauding the American people? 0.98

00:13:34.100 I'm not certain of it, but we at least need to investigate it, because if people can commit wrongdoing without even the fear that they're going to be found out, 0.76

00:13:43.300 that that's a fundamental problem so i'm worried about the immigration fraud i'm also worried about

00:13:47.920 what did ilhan omar know about what was happening in the somali community and why was nobody looking

00:13:53.940 into it until frankly donald trump came along so there you hear the vice president connecting

00:13:58.460 these two things the allegation against ilhan omar that she married her own brother and by the

00:14:04.260 way no one is saying she actually married her own brother like live with them and had a ceremony

00:14:07.800 they're saying that she married him in a civil document kind of way and put him down as her

00:14:12.860 husband so that she could get him into the country, that she could get into the country.

00:14:20.080 And I've seen the documents now. They could be incorrect. Who knows? But I can tell you that

00:14:25.200 every time Ilhan Omar has been asked about this specifically, she never denies it. She just says,

00:14:29.240 I'm not going to respond. And then she claims Islamophobia and gets all upset. I don't know.

00:14:34.120 If anyone ever accused me of marrying my sister, I would say, that's ridiculous. I never married

00:14:39.780 my sister, not civilly or religiously. Don't worry about it. And then I might push back and

00:14:44.860 say some other things. But I'd have no problem saying that. And I noticed that she's never said

00:14:49.020 that. That's a problem. She either has a bad lawyer or she doesn't know how to lie as well

00:14:54.440 as she thinks she does. So that's a story that's percolating right now. Don't know where that's

00:15:00.540 going to go. You know, there's going to be a huge hue and cry if she is charged with immigration 1.00

00:15:05.600 fraud but if the documents prove it uh you know it's just going to take a bunch of judges who

00:15:11.040 won't who won't who throw out the prosecution until it gets to the supreme court and we're

00:15:15.060 going to waste our time with this nonsense i don't think it's a waste of time to go after

00:15:19.080 ilan omar for a bunch of the things that she's doing i'm just saying that the legal system is

00:15:24.020 going to make us waste our time and not allow us to punish someone who probably did commit

00:15:28.080 immigration fraud and it's gross i know she didn't really really marry and have you know 0.52

00:15:34.700 consummate her marriage 0.99

00:15:37.920 to their brother.

00:15:38.520 I'm not accusing her of that.

00:15:39.520 I hope she didn't do that.

00:15:41.380 But it's still gross. 0.92

00:15:43.380 My goodness.

00:15:44.960 Anyway, she's not alone.

00:15:46.160 Now we also have Congresswoman

00:15:47.720 Sheila Sherphillis McCormick.

00:15:49.780 She is a Florida Democrat 0.86

00:15:50.980 who, in a very unusual thing

00:15:53.640 these days,

00:15:55.500 she just got found guilty 0.98

00:15:57.480 of 25 ethics violations.

00:15:59.060 What was unusual about it

00:15:59.800 is that they went through

00:16:00.180 a whole hearing.

00:16:01.120 Here she is denying all the charges,

00:16:02.640 even though she was found guilty.

00:16:04.700 Well, it's an unjust indictment, and it seems like these intimidation tactics have been pervasive.

00:16:10.060 We spent all week seeing different members getting censured, all in hopes of intimidating and kind of distracting from the Epstein files.

00:16:17.140 And I look forward to my day in court so I can prove myself and actually state the truth.

00:16:21.180 But if this is what Congress is becoming, where they're always trying to intimidate you, scare tactics, especially attacking minorities, black and brown people,

00:16:27.900 then we're going to have to keep fighting for the district.

00:16:29.940 and everybody has been giving me so much support

00:16:32.380 and we're going to keep fighting until the district gets what it needs,

00:16:35.300 which is fair prices, housing, and fair representation of Congress.

00:16:39.180 Listen, there were 25 violations, but to make it clear,

00:16:41.640 the big one is that she is found guilty, according to the Health Ethics Committee,

00:16:45.360 of stealing COVID funds to buy herself expensive jewelry.

00:16:48.260 There were other things, too.

00:16:49.660 So that's what that was all about.

00:16:51.940 And boy, did she throw the kitchen sink in, everything but the kitchen sink in her answer? 0.84

00:16:55.720 Black and brown people, the Epstein files. 0.78

00:16:58.020 I mean, I'm surprised she didn't say the X-Files, the truth there's out there.

00:17:01.440 I mean, she just threw everything out there other than to specifically deny the charges.

00:17:05.480 She didn't say anything.

00:17:06.260 She didn't say, oh, I didn't buy that jewelry.

00:17:07.600 Again, that's what I would say if I were innocent.

00:17:10.140 All right, I'm going to come back on the Stones in here.

00:17:12.020 We're going to get you updated on the top stories because a lot of stuff's moving on.

00:17:14.980 And I'm going to let you listen to another governor out there or find out about another governor, Abigail Spanberger. 0.99

00:17:21.400 What's she up to?

00:17:22.060 the stone zone entertaining and informative on the red apple podcast network and i'm jake novak

00:17:34.040 filling in for roger stone this evening and we have a little bit of breaking i would call it

00:17:38.360 breaking slash developing news all the dc area airports bwi dulles and reagan national in a

00:17:45.580 ground stop may just be getting lifted now it was some kind of an issue with air traffic control

00:17:50.680 operational issue this they need like there's only a yiddish word for this this they need like

00:17:56.920 a lock and cup which means like a bump on the head uh honestly uh this is not what they needed

00:18:01.820 right now uh hopefully that situation is being cleared up but the good news is we know for sure

00:18:07.260 now that at monday as early as monday tsa agents are going to start getting those paychecks again

00:18:12.320 including the back pay that they're due after all this democrat voted for and instigated partial

00:18:19.800 shutdown, funding for the Department of Homeland Security. Now, that doesn't mean that we're going

00:18:25.000 to have all the lines at all the airports disappear on Monday, but it should start getting

00:18:29.280 better with the TSA agents, more of them coming back on the job. Maybe even some of them who quit

00:18:34.080 will come back. It doesn't really matter that they quit when they weren't coming in and getting paid.

00:18:38.100 They should be. Hopefully, they'll get some grace there. We'll see what happens.

00:18:42.520 That's what's going on at the airports right now. And it just is amazing to me, isn't it,

00:18:47.940 that this is the number one story in America at a time when we are fully engaged in a big war with

00:18:52.560 Iran. Quite, quite impressive. It's actually quite embarrassing. It should be embarrassing 1.00

00:18:58.760 that congressional screw-ups, Democrat screw-ups with our funding have become so bad that it

00:19:07.080 outranks the war as the number one story. I mean, it really is the top story right now,

00:19:11.240 this whole shutdown and the TSA agents and what's going on at our airports just for now.

00:19:15.240 here's congressman chip roy is a republican from texas explaining why the house was not going to

00:19:22.600 accept this other way around the the shutdown that house sorry senate republicans gave into

00:19:28.600 late last night house republicans showing a lot more backbone one of them was chip roy listen to

00:19:32.820 him hey everybody it's chip roy here from texas 21 and uh what the senate just sent over to the

00:19:38.720 house is so laughably bad uh we're rejecting it out of hand uh they sent over a bill that's not

00:19:43.240 going to fund ICE and Border Patrol and stand with the great men and women who are defending

00:19:46.600 our country. We reject that. We're going to stand alongside our law enforcement personnel.

00:19:51.460 We're going to have a full-throated debate. We're deciding what we're going to do,

00:19:54.280 but suffice it to say, we need to stand with those who are standing up for us to defend our

00:19:58.400 country. We need to fully fund them. We need to consider voter ID and other things to make our

00:20:03.100 country safer and better, but we're not going to move this Senate bill. We're going to move

00:20:06.980 something better and send it back to the Senate. We have to. Yeah, that's Chip Roy, and he does a

00:20:12.440 good job of explaining in the last half hour you heard speaker mike johnson doing a good job of

00:20:17.060 explaining the senate republicans gave up just too much and one of the people really taking it

00:20:22.400 on the chin and maybe even right smack in the nose over this is republican senate majority

00:20:28.400 leader john thune who is all over the internet right now confirmed videos of him leaving town

00:20:33.520 leaving dc before that ground stop and getting out of town before the save america bill is passed

00:20:40.220 before they really resolved this DHS shutdown of the Democrats.

00:20:43.580 And yes, it is the Democrats' ultimate responsibility.

00:20:46.640 They started this and they kept voting to keep this shutdown going,

00:20:49.480 this partial shutdown going.

00:20:51.440 But for Thune to leave is a very bad look.

00:20:55.380 He must have had a really, really good...

00:20:56.840 I mean, honestly, short of my daughter's weddings

00:20:59.060 or the birth of a grandchild, I wouldn't be leaving town.

00:21:03.340 I don't know if he has daughters or grandchildren, probably does.

00:21:06.240 John, you made a mistake here.

00:21:07.580 And your handlers, your political consultants, fire them because they shouldn't have let you do that.

00:21:14.920 It's as simple as that.

00:21:15.740 Now, still a huge story, even though it's the number two story, which is hard to believe, is the Iran war.

00:21:21.120 We're getting reports that a U.S.-Saudi base in, of course, Saudi Arabia hit by Iran this evening.

00:21:28.620 We have reports of American injuries, no deaths.

00:21:32.180 So we're still at 14 deaths, and one is too many.

00:21:36.360 Anybody who's listening to me now thinks I'm making light of the amount of deaths in this war,

00:21:40.760 really, just shove it.

00:21:42.080 That's just not what's going on here, and you know it.

00:21:44.480 But I want everyone to get back to reality here in America,

00:21:47.620 because I keep hearing people telling me, oh, this is a quagmire.

00:21:50.280 You don't know what quagmire means.

00:21:52.240 I keep hearing, I've heard some people saying this is our Vietnam.

00:21:55.020 After four weeks?

00:21:57.260 I just wanted to give you some mathematical context, because, you know, the party of science.

00:22:01.500 Math is a science, by the way. Did you know that?

00:22:02.980 anyway here's a little bit of math for you now before the afghan war which we technically fought

00:22:09.860 for 20 years in this country the vietnam war was the longest war in this country we started

00:22:13.980 military action small amount in 1959 went all the way through 1972 73 longest war we had i'm just

00:22:21.600 going to say for argument's sake and to round things out that we were there for 13 years

00:22:26.200 13 years is 676 weeks to be exact

00:22:30.540 we lost 59,000 more than that

00:22:34.400 but I'm going to round it

00:22:35.220 59,000 US servicemen and women in the Vietnam War

00:22:38.900 that's an average of 87 dead

00:22:41.160 for each one of those 676 weeks

00:22:43.800 we've been fighting Iran 1.00

00:22:46.300 a country that has more people than Vietnam 0.97

00:22:48.840 a country that has been preparing for war and war alone 0.67

00:22:52.240 for 47 years longer than Vietnam was

00:22:54.860 and with better weapons than Vietnam had. 0.89

00:22:58.780 We've been fighting them for four weeks and we have 14 dead. 0.97

00:23:01.680 One is too many.

00:23:03.140 I will never make light of even one death or serious injury.

00:23:06.920 Of course I won't. 0.99

00:23:09.680 But to compare it to Vietnam, to compare it to a quagmire,

00:23:13.880 again, it's just like that conversation we had just a few minutes ago about genocide.

00:23:18.140 Am I talking to someone who is so uneducated that they don't know what quagmire means

00:23:22.140 or they don't know what the Vietnam War was?

00:23:24.860 Or am I talking to someone who does know those things and they're just being intellectually dishonest?

00:23:30.900 You never know in America today, especially when you're online and you're not really speaking with the person face to face.

00:23:36.000 You'd never know.

00:23:38.500 Now, one of those people that I don't ever seem to know what she's talking about, whether she's being honest or not, I understand what she's talking about, but whether she's just being obtuse for you Shawshank Redemption fans.

00:23:52.800 I can't believe you're being so obtuse, Warden.

00:23:55.180 Remember what happened to Andy Dufresne after he said that.

00:23:57.640 I don't know if Governor Abigail Spanberger of Virginia is just being obtuse.

00:24:03.680 Or, since she's a former CIA agent or analyst, she's probably not being obtuse. 0.98

00:24:08.600 She's probably just being mighty dishonest.

00:24:10.920 Now, there was a woman in Virginia, Stephanie Minter, who was killed at a bus stop by an illegal alien just recently.

00:24:18.520 And there was a reporter who finally got a chance to ask Governor Spanberger about that and whether she's still anti-ice and still has nothing to say about this.

00:24:28.360 Here's that exchange just today.

00:24:30.860 Hey, Governor, welcome to Colt Pepper.

00:24:33.660 Governor, what is your message to Stephanie Mentor's family? 0.97

00:24:37.500 What is your message to Stephanie Mentor's family and children who have been harmed by illegal immigrants, Governor?

00:24:42.900 My question would be why, when there was a detention of deportation order, ICE did not deport him.

00:24:49.920 ICE had him in custody for 700 days, Governor.

00:24:52.780 And an immigration judge would not allow him to be deported to Sierra Leone.

00:25:00.100 Now, was Governor Spanberger just being obtuse, Warden?

00:25:05.340 Or was she deliberately lying, knowing darn well that a judge didn't allow for the deportation?

00:25:11.000 This is incredible.

00:25:12.380 You have law enforcement officers in this country doing their job, risking their lives to apprehend people, put them in detention, try to deport them, only to have judges not only block it, but then have the politicians who support that blockage pretend that it's ICE's fault for not doing the deportation.

00:25:29.180 I mean, gaslighting isn't a good enough word for this.

00:25:31.740 And I hate that word, by the way.

00:25:32.660 It's overused.

00:25:33.680 I'm sorry I even used it.

00:25:34.620 I'm going to find myself a dollar.

00:25:37.040 The level of dishonesty here is beyond measure.

00:25:41.660 beyond measure.

00:25:44.840 What's going on in Virginia right now

00:25:46.360 has been documented by so many people

00:25:48.920 is just the absolute robbery

00:25:51.220 of due process in that state,

00:25:54.120 the absolute,

00:25:55.760 just one horrific thing after the other.

00:25:58.400 And I hope that all the Republicans there

00:26:00.500 or all the people in Virginia

00:26:01.920 who voted for Donald Trump

00:26:03.000 but didn't vote for Winston Earl Sears

00:26:04.560 are happy with this result.

00:26:07.660 I don't know what was wrong

00:26:08.540 with Winston Earl Sears

00:26:09.480 that you didn't give her her vote. 0.96

00:26:12.480 I hope it wasn't because she was a black woman. 0.98

00:26:14.600 And as Republicans, you won't vote for a black woman. 1.00

00:26:16.600 I haven't found that to be the case.

00:26:18.960 I heard that they were Trump supporters who didn't think she supported Trump enough.

00:26:22.700 I don't know what the reason was, but there's no reason why you chose the Spanberger over her.

00:26:27.780 And now you're really paying for it.

00:26:29.460 You're paying for it with a redistricting battle.

00:26:31.420 You're paying for it with the loss of your Second Amendment rights, many of them in Virginia, tax raises.

00:26:36.900 you're also paying for it with a complete backtracking and just abrogation of a promise

00:26:43.180 that Spanberger made to make affordability remember her her election issue was affordability 1.00

00:26:47.760 affordability affordability everything she's done has made it more expensive Virginia including 0.99

00:26:53.060 holding up a natural gas plant that would lower the cost of energy in that state her top energy

00:27:00.500 guy chief energy officer blocking the opening of a natural gas plant yeah this is so funny

00:27:05.840 you know how the crazy environmentalists say we have to cut emissions by 50 percent we have to

00:27:11.200 cut emissions by this percent that percent i can do that for you at the snap of my fingers just go

00:27:14.760 to natural gas if you replace coal fire plants with natural gas you cut 50 emissions if you

00:27:21.940 replace oil-based plants with natural gas you cut emissions by something like 20 30 big emissions

00:27:26.940 cut but it's still a fossil fuel and it's still those white republican men oil companies and we

00:27:31.740 don't like that we would rather destroy the world this is nihilism listen i i want to have a cleaner

00:27:38.480 environment although i'd like for us to go back to 1970s like pollution reduction where we're

00:27:42.900 literally picking up litter stopping dumping in our oceans to me that's a much bigger environmental

00:27:47.900 threat than emissions than co2 any day of the week because that's something that we humans can

00:27:54.820 actually make a difference you know the most honest scientists will tell you we don't really

00:27:59.260 know if we can make any difference in the changing of our temperature we've been trying to do that

00:28:03.240 since the pagan times and we would sacrifice babies in the hopes that we would get a rainy day

00:28:06.880 or not a rainy day i think that we're just as futile when it comes to that but what isn't futile

00:28:11.340 is cleaning up our oceans cleaning up our park lands that was something that i was brought up

00:28:16.060 with and and it seems like no one's talking about that anymore and believe me you walk around some

00:28:20.100 of the public lands in this country right now we could use some cleaning up or the whole medical

00:28:24.820 waste that was washing up on our shores in the mid to late 80s whatever happened to concerns

00:28:29.300 about that did they solve that problem i don't think they completely solved it i hope so but

00:28:34.660 anyway this is nihilism this is basically they don't want anything they really want us to go

00:28:38.240 back in caves they want to severely reduce the number of people on this earth which has never

00:28:43.940 really truly been proven to be the actual source of a problem have you ever noticed that the the

00:28:48.520 countries that are suffering from quote overpopulation problems are also the countries

00:28:52.960 with the most corrupt leaders and dictators

00:28:54.860 and horrible human beings? 0.92

00:28:56.980 Maybe that has something to do with it.

00:28:59.880 Anyway, it's nihilism.

00:29:01.980 They don't want anything to be done.

00:29:03.340 They don't want any kind of progress.

00:29:05.760 I do have some good news for you, though,

00:29:07.720 going a little bit further south from Virginia to Georgia.

00:29:11.000 Today was a big day in this whole effort

00:29:13.380 to try to prove if, or if not,

00:29:16.000 there was any major election fraud

00:29:17.760 in the 2020 election in Georgia.

00:29:20.360 You'll recall that the FBI sees

00:29:22.400 tens of thousands of ballots from Fulton County, that really, really fishy vote count there.

00:29:28.600 Remember, they had a pipe burst. They had all those ballots that they didn't verify, etc., etc.,

00:29:33.760 and the FBI was able to seize tens of thousands of those questionable ballots. Fulton County went

00:29:38.520 to court today, went to a federal judge today to argue to get those ballots back. They claimed that

00:29:43.260 they were hoodwinked by the FBI to hand over those ballots, and they really didn't know

00:29:46.760 why they had to hand them over. Well, again, there hasn't been a decision yet, but the federal judge

00:29:52.040 in this case, Judge J.P. Booley, heard arguments, and based on the questions that the judge asked,

00:29:57.560 it seems like the FBI is going to be able to keep those ballots. I want to make sure

00:30:00.760 everyone is updated about that, because that could really make a difference in all of this

00:30:06.800 right now. That's an interesting story. Now, going even further south, well, not further south,

00:30:11.440 going a little bit west of Georgia, I want to get you updated on another story, which is a good

00:30:15.020 example of good and bad journalism in America. Basically, bad journalism. As some of you may

00:30:21.120 know elon musk has one company it's called the boring company it's kind of a funny name the

00:30:25.380 boring company with one r because they literally dig tunnels and they have been working in the

00:30:31.920 city of nashville to create underground tunnels that get people from downtown to the airport

00:30:37.640 really really fast sounds great to me a direct line to the airport no traffic i can make sure

00:30:41.820 i get my flight sounds great cnbc my former station came out with a big story on their

00:30:49.000 website today about how people in nashville now don't like that project and then when you read in

00:30:54.540 the second paragraph they say well actually what happened was when we asked in the poll we said

00:30:59.180 elon musk's project people didn't like it when they took his name out of the question they did

00:31:03.280 like it now what's the point of doing a story like that it's a complete you're admitting in

00:31:07.760 your second paragraph that you loaded the poll and who knows if people are for it or against it

00:31:12.480 now. Now you've just completely muddied the field. This is journalism. This isn't even

00:31:18.680 good polling. It's bad journalism. And they're reporting on a bad poll. Talk about fruit of a

00:31:22.640 poison tree. Just incredible. All right. I'm Jake Novak in for Roger Stone here on the Stone Zone.

00:31:28.860 We come back. I'm going to tell you about Jim Farley. He's the CEO of Ford. And boy,

00:31:33.360 is he a lucky guy. But did he tip the scales in his own favor? Wait till you hear about this.

00:31:37.940 the stone zone entertaining and informative on the red apple podcast network and i'm jake novak

00:31:50.060 in for roger stone this evening want to get you updated on a couple of developing slash breaking

00:31:54.400 stories looks like that ground stop that was going on at all three dc area airports i don't

00:32:00.400 know why all three had to have a full ground stop but it was at dullest that there was a problem

00:32:04.480 apparently some kind of smoky odor in the air traffic control tower that's been taken care of

00:32:10.760 we had somebody here at WABC whose family member was flying out of Dulles on their way

00:32:15.420 overseas and that's all taken care of that's good news again however that that they needed like a

00:32:21.380 hit on the head I mean honestly with everything that's going on at our airport so that seems to

00:32:25.440 be resolved uh what isn't resolved is whatever the heck's going on with Tiger Woods at the top

00:32:30.420 of the hour you heard me talking about that uh Tiger Woods had to spend some hours in jail today

00:32:36.720 DUI either under the influence of a drug or who they don't know exactly what yet we're not going

00:32:42.500 to find out probably that quickly maybe we will uh but what a fall from grace from Tiger Woods

00:32:48.180 once again of course probably the biggest fall from grace from the standpoint of a endorsement

00:32:53.440 figure and if you remember 20 years ago in this country really as recently as maybe 18 years ago

00:33:00.400 I can't remember exactly when that first went down with Tiger Woods.

00:33:03.080 I want to say it was 2009, that first car accident.

00:33:05.820 And then we found out about the infidelities and all the other issues with him.

00:33:09.400 This was a man whose endorsement was gold in America, the number one sought after endorsement for just about anything.

00:33:17.800 And he had to come back in many ways, certainly at his age, not going to be the best golfer in the world anymore.

00:33:25.320 We know that. But now he's got this DUI arrest, hit it, hit a vehicle.

00:33:33.180 So not a great situation for Tiger Woods. And we know he's been through a lot.

00:33:38.640 So is everybody. You know, a lot of people have a lot of things weighing on them.

00:33:41.540 We certainly understand that. But obviously, there's something going on with him personally.

00:33:46.480 I'm sorry. When you have multiple DUIs and these kinds of problems, I'm sorry.

00:33:50.480 I understand I'm not a psychiatrist. And if I were, I'm not he's not my patient.

00:33:54.420 so I'm not trying to play the psychic psychiatrist or the pretend psychiatrist but I'm sorry it

00:33:59.800 doesn't take a psychiatrist to realize there's something going on here this is a cry for help

00:34:03.140 this has got some other things going on that's it's a lot of people a lot of a lot of you

00:34:08.760 listening know exactly what I'm talking about and as a human being I certainly have compassion for

00:34:13.440 him not a huge professional golf fan so no one can accuse me of being some kind of Tiger Woods fan

00:34:19.160 I had really didn't have much of an opinion about in one way or the other which was hard to be that

00:34:23.320 way in this country all those years ago because he was everywhere he was everywhere he checked a

00:34:28.240 lot of boxes all those years ago first of all he was young he was in that demo 18 to 35 he was an

00:34:34.220 incredible athlete he was of mixed race uh had a great smile all those things that you want and

00:34:41.320 he was involved in a sport which caters to very wealthy people mostly all those things that you

00:34:48.900 want to sell your watches to sell your cars to sell your jewelry to sell your airline to sell

00:34:54.200 your resort i mean what didn't he plug i can't you know again of high-end thing you he plugged

00:34:58.880 it all he lost that with the first controversy and now any chance of him doing that again

00:35:03.980 not too good he may end up doing prescription drug ads uh that even then it won't be so great

00:35:09.840 uh i'm not crying for him i'm sure he's financially set and his family is as well but my goodness

00:35:15.320 I want to spend the last minute and a half or so just talking about another thing that's going on in America right now.

00:35:21.680 And millions of American families know exactly what I'm talking about.

00:35:24.980 Probably some of you as well.

00:35:26.260 This is the week and next week as well when these final decisions from America's colleges come down for regular admission.

00:35:35.480 And there are about 20 million college students in America right now.

00:35:39.620 So divide it by four.

00:35:41.380 You're talking about a freshman class.

00:35:42.800 We're talking about millions of American families and millions of American 17, 18 year olds who are getting a decision in the mail or most of them, of course, online now that they have really been on edge about for a long time.

00:35:59.020 And for a lot of them, it's been a great day. It's been a great week. They got the yeses that they wanted. And for a lot, they got a lot of no's.

00:36:07.360 uh and i just want to first extend the congratulations to those of you who got the

00:36:12.140 answer you wanted and to those of you who didn't who put in the work please remember this is not

00:36:18.080 the be all and end all i hope you know that and i hope you know that it's really really important

00:36:23.580 to understand that your education is going to be a lot more than the four years you spend in

00:36:28.960 college i certainly hope so i heard i certainly hope you've had a great education up to now

00:36:32.600 But just remember

00:36:35.320 It's just a small bump in the road
