The StoneZONE with Roger Stone - The Stone Zone ｜ 04-08-26

00:00:00.000 this is the stone zone with roger stone people love him and respect him roger stone now get

00:00:17.720 in the zone it's the stone zone here's roger stone and i'm jake novak filling in for roger

00:00:26.280 stone again on the stone zone thank you so much for this opportunity hey you gotta listen to the

00:00:31.860 end of the hour of this program because i don't know if enough of you listening and definitely 0.91

00:00:37.580 your children are familiar enough with the dirty harry movies which is a darn shame 0.98

00:00:41.760 and there was an outrageous statement she makes an outrageous statement every day by the first

00:00:48.180 lady of california earlier this week and it really really required an iconic response

00:00:55.860 and an iconic line from one of the Dirty Harry movies.

00:00:58.980 So I'm going to pair those two pieces of sound for you together

00:01:01.980 at the end of the program.

00:01:03.800 You really need to hear that.

00:01:05.400 So that'll be like 54, 55 minutes after the hour.

00:01:08.120 Make sure you're here for that.

00:01:09.120 But let's start the program right now with,

00:01:12.280 obviously, the biggest story here in the United States,

00:01:14.580 the biggest story worldwide, and that is this,

00:01:17.900 what can we call it, fragile, precarious,

00:01:21.880 I don't know if it's going to happen,

00:01:23.160 ceasefire whatever you want to call it uh right now you've got both sides with a good claim saying

00:01:31.300 that the ceasefire is certainly not being adhered to at least not so far the iranians of course we

00:01:38.700 have the hard evidence are not adhering to the ceasefire yet and as i was talking about with

00:01:44.420 james flipping before for those of you who are listening to that on many of these stations

00:01:49.320 That's nothing new.

00:01:50.500 That's the Iranian M.O. 0.98

00:01:51.960 Their terror proxy armies do this all the time. 1.00

00:01:54.640 A ceasefire is declared. 0.63

00:01:56.460 And then for the next 36 hours or so, they get in some last shots here and there. 0.89

00:02:00.580 That's what Hamas, the Iranian proxy, does all the time. 0.88

00:02:03.800 That's what Hezbollah does all the time.

00:02:05.720 The Houthis have done this kind of stuff, too.

00:02:09.280 But ask the folks in Bahrain, the UAE, and Saudi Arabia and Israel how that ceasefire is working out for them so far.

00:02:16.120 Because they've all been attacked.

00:02:17.960 There's been damage, not so much in Israel, but definitely in some of those other places, especially UAE.

00:02:25.000 And, of course, I'll get to more of this in a second.

00:02:28.700 Of course, the mainstream media has decided not to talk about that, but to quote just directly without any comment, any filter.

00:02:36.460 They just quote directly the Speaker of the Iranian Parliament who says that it's the U.S. side and the Israeli side who have broken the ceasefire.

00:02:44.740 You know, I have a little bit of advice for everyone in the mainstream media.

00:02:49.760 You are not required to repeat what the Iranian regime says word for word.

00:02:55.900 You're just not. You're not. You don't have to do that.

00:02:59.200 Find out either what's true.

00:03:02.680 You can certainly mention it, but you don't have to quote it word for word.

00:03:06.600 And you don't have to lead your websites, which they're all doing right now, saying Iranian speaker says U.S. 0.97

00:03:10.580 I mean, it's just incredible the way that they act as mouthpieces for a regime that kills everybody. 0.98

00:03:18.840 I would say they're threatening America, but that would really be an understatement. 0.99

00:03:22.960 They kill everybody, mostly their fellow Muslims. 1.00

00:03:27.100 I mean, the Iranian body count on America is a disgrace. 1.00

00:03:31.940 The Iranian body count on Israelis is a disgrace. 1.00

00:03:35.460 But it doesn't hold a candle to the Iranian body count on their fellow Muslims. 1.00

00:03:39.920 They'd kill them in industrial strength levels. 1.00

00:03:44.880 My goodness. 1.00

00:03:47.440 These are the people who want to lead the Muslim world. 1.00

00:03:50.340 By how? Killing everybody else who doesn't support them within the Muslim world? 0.93

00:03:54.860 They'll have three people left. 0.97

00:03:58.200 But my advice tonight is more for the Democratic Party.

00:04:03.580 And for those of you who don't want the Democratic Party to succeed, I have good news for you.

00:04:08.000 They never listen to me.

00:04:09.920 So I have been giving solid advice to the Democrats for years, not in the hopes of helping them win elections, but just in the hopes of getting them back to the realm of reality, getting them back to the Bill Clinton Democrat Party that was at least sane.

00:04:22.160 You know, Bill Clinton busted his butt for a number of years, really starting in like 1987, to try to bring the Democrat Party back to the middle, to make it more pro-capitalist, to make it pro-death penalty, to make it a little bit agnostic, at least on gun control.

00:04:40.540 He worked very hard to do that.

00:04:42.120 It was like pulling teeth at times, but he succeeded with that, and that's why he won elections.

00:04:48.480 and had he had not if he hadn't have ruined everything for himself and in many ways for

00:04:55.160 the more moderate Democrat Party with the Lewinsky scandal which he did he ruined his brand he ruined

00:05:01.240 any influence he could have over the party after he left office because of that

00:05:05.180 it's possible he would have had still more of a sane Democrat Party today Democratic Party but we

00:05:11.860 don't. But I have to tell you, if the Democrats want to win elections, they're doing it all wrong.

00:05:20.280 I know that they may get some polling saying, hey, there's a lot of people who hate Trump.

00:05:23.420 So if you oppose everything he does, including a war against a murderous regime that's been

00:05:28.300 killing Americans and everybody else for 47 years, you'll get a couple of points here and

00:05:32.480 there in the polls. Baloney. What the Democrats don't understand is that if they supported this 0.72

00:05:39.700 war, they would do much better for themselves. All they want is power. I keep hearing people

00:05:44.060 say, well, they're opposing Trump because they want power. Really? They don't have to say we're

00:05:50.120 supporting Trump. They could just say we're supporting this war. And then somebody would

00:05:52.920 say, well, does that mean you're supporting Trump? They could say, no, we're just supporting this

00:05:56.540 war. They could say a broken clock is right twice a day, a stop. They can make any other excuse for

00:06:03.240 that. Come out and favor the war. It will help you. Now, they're not going to listen to me 0.59

00:06:09.580 because one of the things I like to do is I refer to myself very often as having an alter ego. My

00:06:15.260 alter ego is Jake Novak, unemployable political consultant. Why am I unemployable? Because I give

00:06:22.040 good advice. Political consultants in this country, the professional political consultant class,

00:06:27.180 give bad advice. And the reason why they get away with it is the country is so split down the middle

00:06:32.160 that even the worst political consultant is going to have a 500 batting average or maybe 502. And

00:06:38.180 they walk around boasting i've won 50.2 percent of my elections big deal it's a split country any

00:06:44.400 any squirrel could do that the democrats need to understand that they could do much better

00:06:50.900 much much better if they were just sane but they're not sane and when you're not sane

00:06:56.540 you turn yourself into a pretzel and one of the guys who turned himself into a pretzel

00:07:01.200 several times over the last 36 hours is a guy named Ro Khanna he's a congressman representing

00:07:07.500 a lot of Silicon Valley. And early yesterday morning, he was calling President Trump a war

00:07:13.360 criminal for threatening to destroy Iran. And then later in the day, the same day,

00:07:21.480 he had this to say. Check this out. Cut four. As a human being and as an American citizen,

00:07:26.360 I am relieved that Donald Trump has accepted a ceasefire and withdrawn his threat to destroy

00:07:32.380 Iranian civilization. But let's be clear, this did not happen because of Congress, which barely

00:07:38.340 made a whimper. This happened because of the force of the American people, not just progressives

00:07:44.840 and liberals, but conservatives like Tucker Carlson, Marjorie Taylor Greene, and even Ann

00:07:49.980 Coulter spoke out against the horror of threatening genocide against another people. This tells me

00:07:56.780 one thing, the only thing that will save this country, the only thing that will save our

00:08:01.200 democracy is a broad populist social movement anti-epstein class anti-war pro-working class

00:08:09.220 uh yeah and then he also said that basically trump chickened out later on

00:08:13.560 uh you know you got to twist yourself into a pretzel first of all he used the word genocide

00:08:19.760 that was never in president trump's threats and there's been an incredibly small number of

00:08:26.000 civilian deaths in this war so much so that when the bombs go off either from the israelis

00:08:31.040 of the United States, the Iranian citizens come out to cheer it. They know they're not being 0.94

00:08:36.460 targeted. There's no genocide here. You know, we can laugh at these people for using the word

00:08:44.820 genocide and not really knowing what they're talking about or deliberately lying about it.

00:08:49.640 But, you know, it's no laughing matter. I'm sorry. I had relatives who were killed in a real genocide.

00:08:56.180 OK, so I'm not really going to let them get away with that.

00:09:00.440 Either when they accuse Israel of it and it's false, it's always false.

00:09:04.020 When they accuse the United States of it, it's always false.

00:09:06.380 They're not perfect. Israel and the United States aren't perfect.

00:09:09.500 But we've never committed genocide against anyone, even the Native Americans.

00:09:14.460 There wasn't a genocide. It wasn't a planned policy to eradicate the entire Native American population.

00:09:22.740 they were marginalized

00:09:24.820 they were sent to reservations

00:09:26.360 they were not treated 0.98

00:09:27.480 I mean all that is true

00:09:29.260 but there wasn't a campaign

00:09:32.560 to get rid of every

00:09:33.940 I mean if that were the case

00:09:34.780 they would have been gone a long time ago

00:09:36.040 but even that

00:09:39.120 even that that's the worst example

00:09:40.720 even that

00:09:41.600 and that was egregious in a lot of ways

00:09:43.420 we can all agree on that

00:09:44.520 but that wasn't a genocide either

00:09:45.780 and this is not a genocide

00:09:46.780 stop using that terminology

00:09:48.380 it's a disgrace

00:09:49.420 it's really a disgrace

00:09:52.220 and then when you don't support this war against an evil enemy of everyone including liberals 1.00

00:10:00.640 including democrats you get other morons who make fools of themselves instead of 1.00

00:10:05.820 riding something that would make them look more prestigious more statesman-like you get a guy like 1.00

00:10:11.040 larry o'donnell on ms now making this moronic comment who let him say this on the air listen 0.95

00:10:17.460 to this. That brilliant rescue was described by the Secretary of Defense and by General Dan Cain, 0.56

00:10:25.140 the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, as a long-standing American military rule

00:10:31.040 of never leaving anyone behind. We leave no man behind. That is, of course, the old-school

00:10:41.520 version of the idea back when only men flew american military planes general dan kane

00:10:49.200 the chairman of the joint chiefs of staff put it this way

00:10:52.720 we leave no one behind the general knows unlike pete hegseth that that could have been a woman

00:11:03.460 they were trying to rescue and it might be a woman the next time

00:11:08.080 what he said no man behind uh that that that's the thing that larry o'donnell wants to harp on

00:11:16.880 after this amazing rescue i mean these people are embarrassing i mean it's almost like we're in

00:11:24.060 a freshman seminar class at some college oh i should say fresh person right or first year

00:11:31.820 student. Sorry, Larry. I mean, these people are not serious people. I don't care how fancy a suit

00:11:39.700 Lawrence O'Donnell has or how well his teleprompter is focused in his camera. He's a child. He's an

00:11:47.820 absolute child. And this is what happens when you don't take the more logical path, which is to

00:11:54.620 support the United States in a war against an evil enemy, period. Stop worrying about whatever

00:12:00.720 libertarian or isolationist theory that you think you know,

00:12:04.720 which you don't, and support the fact that you've got

00:12:08.920 hundreds of thousands of American troops, both men and women, Larry,

00:12:13.460 who are in harm's way. It'll be good

00:12:16.840 for you in the polls. It'll be good for you in the ratings. But you see, the problem

00:12:20.880 is the people who are supporting the Democratic Party right now

00:12:23.620 are not looking for any kind of a pro-American result to anything.

00:12:28.800 It's not like they're saying, well, we want to replace Trump because it'll be better for America without him.

00:12:32.900 No, they are supported by the enemies of this country.

00:12:35.400 People like Neville Singham, this guy in China, people like George Soros, who hate the United States of America, who have significant financial bets against the success of this country.

00:12:45.020 And on and on down the line.

00:12:47.160 And it isn't just in war.

00:12:48.260 It's also on the streets with crime.

00:12:50.160 I'm Jake Novak filling in for Roger Stone.

00:12:51.800 I'm going to tell you about that Ukrainian refugee who was murdered and the latest in that case. 0.77

00:12:56.680 And we come right back.

00:12:58.800 This is The Stone Zone with Roger Stone.

00:13:02.340 He likes politics and he's a professional at the highest level.

00:13:07.080 Roger Stone.

00:13:08.260 Who is Roger?

00:13:08.820 This is the Stone Zone with Roger Stone.

00:13:30.440 Roger Stone, who's a very, very, one of the smartest political minds.

00:13:34.500 Roger Stone was persecuted.

00:13:35.720 People forget he's actually a brilliant, brilliant political analyst.

00:13:38.600 Now, get in the zone. It's the Stone Zone. Here's Roger Stone.

00:13:45.100 And I'm Jake Novak filling in for Roger Stone on this Wednesday, April A.

00:13:49.140 Thank you so much for joining us.

00:13:51.400 In about 15 minutes, I got more examples of media and politicians twisting themselves into pretzels

00:13:58.020 instead of just doing what would be good for them.

00:14:01.000 Really, literally for them. It would help their ratings for the media people.

00:14:03.960 It would help their poll numbers or politicians if they would just follow common sense.

00:14:10.300 And if it just happens to be the same thing that Donald Trump is doing at any given time of the day, don't worry about it.

00:14:15.580 You'll still win elections if you follow common sense.

00:14:19.580 And you might win an election or two, even though you're pushing against common sense.

00:14:24.120 But you may not have a country left to lead if you keep doing that.

00:14:26.740 And that's what the Democrats keep risking every single time.

00:14:31.500 Speaking of common sense being ignored.

00:14:35.620 It's just incredible how many cities in this country, even in red states, because there are so many blue cities within red states, etc., etc.

00:14:45.480 The common sense that has been ignored when it comes to dealing with violent crime.

00:14:51.720 And we have an update on one of the worst violent crimes we've seen in this country in the last year or so.

00:14:57.120 and that was the brutal, stabbing murder of Irina Zarutska on that Charlotte light rail,

00:15:02.880 and it was all caught on video.

00:15:04.680 Many of you saw that video.

00:15:07.040 No rhyme or reason to it, just a man behind her who stabbed her to death.

00:15:12.000 No provocation, no robbery.

00:15:14.220 I was explaining to my parents the other day,

00:15:17.580 because we all lived in New York in the 1980s together as a family.

00:15:21.160 They've long since left New York, but they're visiting me for the Passover holiday,

00:15:25.920 And I was explaining to them that crime in New York now is not of the nature it was in the 1980s or 1970s when it was property based crime.

00:15:35.200 People were trying to steal you. They were trying to snatch your gold chain.

00:15:38.240 They were trying to steal your watch. They were trying to get some money.

00:15:41.360 And it might have been for drugs or it might have been for whatever it was.

00:15:44.600 And so there were things that you could do sort of to protect yourself.

00:15:49.080 I mean, they literally told you when you moved to New York back.

00:15:51.400 I moved to New York in 1981. Keep a little mugger money in your pocket.

00:15:54.900 You know, five, ten bucks so that they won't kill you for having nothing and you're not giving them too much money.

00:16:01.120 If you have a nice engagement ring, turn it around so they can't see the diamond.

00:16:06.360 If you're wearing a fur coat, don't go out at night.

00:16:09.300 Don't go onto the subway.

00:16:10.300 I mean, all these kinds of things.

00:16:11.580 None of that matters now.

00:16:13.260 The nature of crime right now is no rhyme or reason.

00:16:16.620 Usually mentally ill, career, violent criminals will just kill you any time of the day for no reason whatsoever,

00:16:22.840 which in a lot of ways is more frightening. 0.85

00:16:25.020 But I think it's actually more encouraging

00:16:27.160 because it's easy to figure out that problem.

00:16:31.580 That one's an easier one.

00:16:33.400 Just lock them up.

00:16:35.380 And for all of you out there, all you amateur

00:16:37.460 and even some of you professional psychiatrists and psychologists

00:16:40.300 who say, well, putting them in jail won't cure them.

00:16:43.700 Okay, maybe you're right.

00:16:44.720 You know what else won't cure them?

00:16:45.880 I can tell you one thing.

00:16:46.860 The streets ain't going to cure them either.

00:16:48.520 It's going to make it worse.

00:16:49.420 and it's also going to put a lot of innocent people in harm's way.

00:16:54.320 This man, a poor excuse for a man, DeCarlos Brown Jr.,

00:16:59.000 who stabbed Irina Zaruzka, and it's all on tape,

00:17:01.140 this is no lie, I don't have to say allegedly, it's all on tape,

00:17:03.520 his lawyers aren't denying it,

00:17:05.880 had many, many violent arrests.

00:17:08.000 He should never have been out on the streets.

00:17:10.780 Never.

00:17:12.140 Well, he was determined today to be unfit for trial, mentally.

00:17:18.360 Now, it's not official he won't be tried regularly, criminally,

00:17:21.020 because the judge has to sign off on it. 0.97

00:17:22.880 But honestly, folks, unless you're completely insane, 0.87

00:17:26.480 which means you don't know what you're doing, 0.54

00:17:27.860 you literally don't know what you're doing,

00:17:29.340 it's a very hard bar to clear,

00:17:32.460 you should be tried criminally.

00:17:34.500 And if he goes to prison and doesn't get cured, so be it.

00:17:37.040 The streets wouldn't cure him either.

00:17:39.020 When I come back, I'm going to talk more about the dangers

00:17:41.260 of not supporting America when we're at war.

00:17:43.280 I'm Jake Novak, and for Roger Stone, this is The Stone Zone.

00:17:47.680 this is the stone zone now get in the zone it's the stone zone a man who's gone through hell

00:18:16.360 But he's kept going, and he's smart, and he's strong, and people love him.

00:18:21.740 Not everybody, but people love him and respect him.

00:18:24.180 Roger Stone. Where's Roger Stone?

00:18:26.520 Here's Roger Stone.

00:18:29.360 And I'm Jake Novak filling in on the Stone Zone once again.

00:18:32.760 Loving the opportunity to speak with you.

00:18:36.020 Look, folks, you've got to stay to the end of the hour because at about 54, 55 to the hour,

00:18:41.280 maybe a little earlier, certainly after the 50-minute mark,

00:18:44.460 We're going to hear Dirty Harry with an important comment for Mrs. Gavin Newsom, Jessica Seabell,

00:18:49.700 because she's been the gift that keeps on giving.

00:18:52.300 She had something to say about San Quentin.

00:18:55.000 And if you're a Dirty Harry fan and you hear the name, the word San Quentin,

00:18:58.900 the words that you know where I'm going with this, but a lot of you probably don't

00:19:01.900 because you've forgotten your great Dirty Harry movies.

00:19:05.200 There were a lot of them, but of course the two you got to see is the original Dirty Harry and Magnum Force.

00:19:09.840 If you don't see the others, I'm going to give you a pass.

00:19:12.220 So you've got to see those two.

00:19:14.420 I really feel like that should be part of a requirement of American citizenship.

00:19:18.400 I'm only half joking.

00:19:19.740 Anyway, you'll hear what Dirty Harry had to say about San Quentin.

00:19:23.040 Folks, I say this all the time.

00:19:25.580 I don't know if anyone else really gets this.

00:19:28.320 I do think that people like Larry Kudlow agree with me on this.

00:19:31.580 I talked to him about it for a long time when I worked with him.

00:19:34.920 A few other people like it.

00:19:36.400 Folks, Bill Clinton built an unbeatable Democrat party.

00:19:40.180 He just did.

00:19:41.540 He really did.

00:19:42.960 He made a Democrat party that was pro-business.

00:19:45.560 He made a Democrat party that was at least kind of agnostic about gun control.

00:19:50.060 He made sure to show everyone that he owned guns and went hunting.

00:19:53.800 He made a Democrat party that was pro-death penalty.

00:19:58.580 During the 1992 campaign, he made a big show of dropping off the campaign trail for a day

00:20:03.700 so he could personally oversee an execution in Arkansas when he was governor there.

00:20:08.400 And on and on down the line, it just made it a lot easier to pull the lever for a Democrat.

00:20:14.300 And the Republican Party was in trouble.

00:20:16.320 If it hadn't been for his personal scandals, I mean, he would have had well over 400 electoral votes in 1996.

00:20:23.060 Already the scandals were kind of leaking out.

00:20:25.420 People didn't completely trust him, even though he was genuinely or generally likable in person.

00:20:31.460 You don't meet a lot of people who say that Bill Clinton is not likable if they met him in person, by the way, even staunch Republicans.

00:20:39.000 Well, anyway, one of the things that he did is he made it OK for Democrats to just do common sense stuff, not twist themselves into knots and say like, well, I know he raped and murdered someone, but we should be.

00:20:49.220 I mean, all the pretzels that they have to twist themselves into, and they're currently doing that with this war in Iran.

00:20:54.960 This is an evil regime that has been killing Americans for 47 years, that has been killing their fellow Muslims, civilians for 47 years, that has been attacking Israel for 47 years, 0.72

00:21:05.080 that has sponsored so much terrorism all over the world, 0.95

00:21:07.740 including bombing community centers in Argentina

00:21:10.300 and attacking people in Paris.

00:21:12.280 Nothing to do with Iran. 1.00

00:21:13.460 This is an evil, evil regime. 1.00

00:21:15.800 Stop twisting yourself into a pretzel

00:21:17.640 to say you're against this war

00:21:18.940 just because Trump declared it.

00:21:21.480 Stop. Just stop.

00:21:22.660 It'll be better for you.

00:21:24.320 Forget about being better for the country.

00:21:25.900 I'm going to talk real brass tacks

00:21:27.740 to you Democrats right now. 0.72

00:21:29.080 This will help you in the polls.

00:21:30.380 it will anger the crazed anti-Trump people in your private who they're going to vote for if

00:21:36.540 they don't vote for you you got their vote oh they'll stay home no they're not and if they do

00:21:42.360 so what you'll make up for them and in double those moderate kind of undecided people who will

00:21:47.800 now vote for you don't worry folks if you're pro-republican and conservative like me the

00:21:52.320 democrats never listen to me because again my alter ego is jake novak unemployable political

00:21:58.640 consultant see i give good advice which is why no one listens to it political consultants who

00:22:04.000 succeed in this country give bad advice to hurt the country and they think they're succeeding

00:22:09.600 because in a split country you're going to win 50 of the time all the time anyway that's another

00:22:15.300 story don't worry they won't listen to me i want a better country though and i wish they would

00:22:18.400 it'd be nice if the party that opposes my party is sane it's not it's just not and there's plenty

00:22:26.260 of insane republicans out there too i understand that i'll deal with them another day but right now

00:22:30.820 we've got people twisting themselves in knots including people like aaron burnett uh aaron 0.69

00:22:38.000 burnett's been been a hostess on cnn for a long time her ratings have been weak from day one i

00:22:43.280 don't know how she keeps she i tell you you got to give her credit because so many other cnn hosts

00:22:47.800 have lost their positions over over during the time that she's been there she's been there at

00:22:51.960 least 10 years with this program, more than that. But, you know, somebody noticed that she keeps

00:22:58.960 changing her tune about Iran depending on what Trump does. Whatever he does, it's wrong.

00:23:03.980 And so someone put together a little montage of her changing her positions depending on the time

00:23:08.820 of day. This is Cut 5. This timeline of Iran being a few weeks away from a nuclear bomb

00:23:13.600 is in direct contradiction to CNN's reporting. According to U.S. intelligence assessments,

00:23:18.900 Iran is three years away from being able to produce a nuclear weapon if they wanted to.

00:23:23.680 So the facts on Iran getting a nuclear weapon do not bear out the claim at the heart of what has put the world on the verge of world war.

00:23:32.300 Iran's uranium may still be intact and in Iranian control.

00:23:36.500 408 kilograms of it. 0.54

00:23:38.380 Now, enough theoretically, according to experts, to make nine nuclear weapons.

00:23:42.160 Only set back the Iranian nuclear program by months. 0.85

00:23:45.020 We got to call it like it is.

00:23:46.340 It's a big deal.

00:23:47.060 Sources tell CNN there is no U.S. intelligence that Iran is building missiles that could soon hit the United States.

00:23:53.120 That's a really big deal.

00:23:54.800 Well, which is it, Erin?

00:23:56.860 First she says, oh, Iran wasn't on the verge of a weapon.

00:23:59.680 Then after the attack that Trump ordered in Operation Midnight Hammer, she says, oh, this didn't ruin, and they're still imminently on top of a bomb.

00:24:07.160 Wait a minute, you just said they weren't imminently on top of a bomb.

00:24:09.560 Then, I mean, it just goes all over the place.

00:24:12.080 Erin Burnett has an executive producer.

00:24:14.280 whoever he or she is is not her friend she's not her own friend either one of the jobs and i was a

00:24:21.780 tv news executive producer including at places like cnn for over 30 years and i can tell you

00:24:26.680 that i would never leave my anchor out to dry like that i kept track of what he said or she said

00:24:32.720 and would never let them embarrass themselves in such a way ever ever you have a bad producer

00:24:40.220 aaron you need to get a better producer who will do you do right by you because they're not doing

00:24:45.540 right by you it's as simple as that cnn isn't also doing right by itself because they platform

00:24:53.600 this guy this is a guy named hassan piker a vicious anti-semite vicious anti-american they

00:24:59.720 literally put him on the air here's what he has to say about another issue listen to this guy 0.90

00:25:05.120 if you cared about medicare fraud or medicaid fraud you would kill rick scott okay you wouldn't

00:25:12.260 make rick scott former governor of florida rick scott you wouldn't make him the the uh current

00:25:18.660 what is his current office what is he he's the richard lynn scott is an american attorney business

00:25:23.920 and politician navy veteran serving as the senior united states senator from florida uh seat he has

00:25:28.420 held since 2019 and also i believe this past election cycle he was literally the the the

00:25:33.780 head of the what was it like the senate committee or something this is a guy they put on the air

00:25:40.020 a guy who's advocating the murder of a sitting u.s senator dana bash another hostess reporter

00:25:49.340 whatever you want to call her on cnn later in the day called out hassan piker and she's getting a

00:25:55.240 lot of kudos for that for talking about what a bad person this is oh good for her never mentioning

00:26:00.260 that her own network platformed the guy

00:26:02.460 earlier in the day or the day before.

00:26:05.660 These people who are producing at CNN,

00:26:08.400 and there's fewer and fewer of them.

00:26:09.500 When I worked at CNN between the years 2000 and 2007,

00:26:12.380 we had a massive staff,

00:26:13.640 both in New York and in Atlanta.

00:26:15.320 I think there's like 20 people working there now.

00:26:17.160 I mean, I'm exaggerating.

00:26:18.200 It's not that little,

00:26:18.900 but it is a shell of its former self.

00:26:21.060 And yet they still can't get all their signals in a row.

00:26:25.240 Who did that to Dana Bash?

00:26:27.300 Who allowed her to go on the air

00:26:28.820 and bash someone who was on the air and not tell her,

00:26:30.920 oh, by the way, he was on our air earlier.

00:26:32.260 You might want to either acknowledge that or what, you know.

00:26:37.440 It's just amazing.

00:26:38.580 These people don't have co-workers who are their friends or have their back.

00:26:43.460 It's just amazing to me.

00:26:47.620 Again, don't worry, folks, if you hate CNN.

00:26:50.400 Don't worry, folks, if you hate Erin Burnett.

00:26:52.260 I promise you, nobody working for her tomorrow is going to be like,

00:26:55.280 wow, I heard that Jake Novak filling in for Roger Stone.

00:26:57.560 I need to do a better job.

00:26:59.480 They're not going to do that, even if they do hear it.

00:27:02.040 And a lot of them do employ what we call clip services,

00:27:04.500 that every time their person is mentioned,

00:27:06.540 so they might actually get a rundown and actually see what I said.

00:27:09.960 But they're not going to do anything differently.

00:27:12.420 I promise you they won't.

00:27:14.880 Because they're locked into something other than doing the right thing.

00:27:20.260 But I'm not even talking so much about being so morally correct.

00:27:23.180 I'm talking about selfish self-interest.

00:27:26.240 and you know every great achievement in human history is pretty much the result of selfish

00:27:32.940 self-interest somebody wanting to do it for money somebody wanting to do it for fame something

00:27:37.320 wanted to do it for power whatever and sure they may have had some altruistic reasons on top of

00:27:42.400 that but if it weren't for a little selfish self-interest it wouldn't have been achieved

00:27:47.460 you know who said that first i'm not gonna say it without attribution the great milton freeman

00:27:52.720 a Nobel Prize winning economist

00:27:54.960 these days he wouldn't get anywhere near a Nobel Prize

00:27:57.980 because he was a pro-capitalist economist

00:28:00.620 they wouldn't let him touch or even think about getting a Nobel Prize today

00:28:04.400 but you should read his book Freedom to Choose

00:28:07.480 you should go on the internet and look at his interviews

00:28:11.120 with Phil Donahue back in the late 70s, early 80s

00:28:13.880 where he explains capitalism and the motivations behind things

00:28:18.080 these people, Dana Bash and Aaron Burnett

00:28:21.000 and their producers and these people like the democratic party are not believe it or not they

00:28:25.640 are not acting in a selfish self-interest they are acting as if they're apparatchiks in a bolshevik

00:28:30.720 movement funded by people who hate this country and that's not a conspiracy theory george soros

00:28:37.060 hates the united states he has a long-standing bet on the collapse of the u.s dollar he is a

00:28:41.820 billionaire today because he bet on the british pound collapsing it did and he's like and he's

00:28:46.580 hoping to repeat that success with the destruction of the American economy,

00:28:50.400 which is why he supports opening up the jails.

00:28:52.680 He's not a leftist.

00:28:54.560 Do you think he's a leftist who loves criminals?

00:28:56.120 He's not.

00:28:57.880 He's an anarchist. 0.99

00:28:59.840 He's a grave robber. 0.86

00:29:00.940 He's been a grave robber since he was eight years old, 0.95

00:29:04.100 robbing the homes of his fellow Jews in Hungary during the Holocaust.

00:29:07.920 And I don't blame the eight-year-old George Soros for that,

00:29:10.660 but I blame the current 80-whatever 90-year-old George Soros

00:29:13.900 for never changing that M.O.,

00:29:16.580 and this guy Neville Singham, who's living in China and calling himself a communist,

00:29:21.240 he's a billionaire, supporting all of these movements in the United States,

00:29:24.700 all these protests and everything else like that.

00:29:26.320 They're not leftists. Calling them leftists is,

00:29:28.240 that would imply that they have some kind of political philosophy

00:29:31.320 where they believe the world and America included will be a better place

00:29:34.580 if we follow these leftist ideologies.

00:29:36.740 No, they're enemies in the United States.

00:29:38.580 They know darn well these leftist policies will destroy this country.

00:29:41.900 That's why they're supporting them.

00:29:43.180 i can deal with someone who disagrees with me from the left and believes america will be better

00:29:49.420 if we just open all the prisons and uh we do x y and z and never fight any wars against terrorists

00:29:55.720 if they really believe america will be better for that that's fine but no one really representing

00:29:59.780 that position is actually doing that they're rooting against america literally that's not a

00:30:07.020 stretch. Now another thing that today's Democrats do is they think you're an idiot. Some of them 1.00

00:30:13.780 are idiots too, so I guess they're simpatico. So when it comes to explaining things, they treat 1.00

00:30:21.500 you like an idiot, and then they get their facts wrong, and they don't understand the context. 1.00

00:30:25.680 Here's the governor of Massachusetts. She is the governor. Her name is Laura Healy. 1.00

00:30:30.180 And here she is explaining why energy prices cost so much. Listen to this.

00:30:34.800 Energy bills are high.

00:30:36.000 Everyone can see that.

00:30:37.240 So lowering your energy bills is my top priority.

00:30:40.640 Now, how does that happen?

00:30:41.960 That's a little more complicated.

00:30:43.340 So let's talk about energy in a way

00:30:45.080 that everyone understands with munchkins. 0.99

00:30:48.340 Picture this. 1.00

00:30:49.200 You're at work or school, wherever.

00:30:51.140 It's 9 a.m. and no one's eating breakfast.

00:30:53.520 Someone shows up with one of these.

00:30:55.660 Demand is high. 0.99

00:30:56.680 Everyone wants a munchkin or two or three,

00:30:58.920 but we've only got 25.

00:31:00.600 That's where we're headed with energy.

00:31:02.100 So how do we fix that?

00:31:03.500 See this glazed munchkin? That's wind.

00:31:06.160 Massachusetts already has an offshore wind project, lowering our energy bills as we speak. 0.73

00:31:10.960 And we need more. It's affordable, homegrown energy, and it'll create thousands of jobs.

00:31:16.360 This sprinkled munchkin? That's solar.

00:31:18.800 Solar is the cheapest, fastest way we can bring more energy into Massachusetts.

00:31:23.400 This chocolate munchkin? That's storage.

00:31:26.360 Storage is when we take energy off the grid when it's cheaper, and we store it like you do in a battery.

00:31:32.060 And then we use it later, when we need it most.

00:31:34.960 States across the country are going after more storage, and so is Massachusetts.

00:31:39.500 And that's not all.

00:31:40.720 We're going after geothermal and nuclear, gas, hydro, energy efficiency too.

00:31:45.660 And I just signed an executive order to supercharge our all-of-the-above energy strategy

00:31:50.260 to bring more energy in and to lower our bills.

00:31:54.080 Now Donald Trump wants to take energy options off the table.

00:31:57.900 You and I both know messing with Duncan in Massachusetts is never a good idea

00:32:02.060 because we know that when everyone gets a munchkin or two or three, everyone's happy.

00:32:06.600 And when there's enough energy to go around, prices go down.

00:32:09.760 So that's why we're saying yes to all kinds of energy

00:32:12.580 and the lower bills and good jobs that come with it. 0.87

00:32:16.100 Now, what are you guys going to do with all these munchkins? 1.00

00:32:20.480 Now, I wanted to play that entire soundbite from the governor, Governor Healy, 1.00

00:32:24.400 because I didn't want anyone to accuse me of taking things out of context 1.00

00:32:27.980 because it's just so stupid. 0.99

00:32:30.640 Again, whatever political consultant advised her on that, 1.00

00:32:34.700 whoever wrote that, is not her friend.

00:32:37.740 First of all, the analogy is completely false.

00:32:40.960 When you buy a carton of munchkins, it all costs the same.

00:32:44.720 There isn't a more expensive munchkin.

00:32:47.420 She's talking about all kinds of different energy, 0.95

00:32:49.340 some of which is incredibly expensive, some of which isn't.

00:32:52.180 She also lied about solar energy being the cheapest form.

00:32:55.040 It's not cheap if it isn't reliable, okay?

00:32:57.980 Sure, you don't pay to drill solar, but if it doesn't work when you need it on a cold day or on a cloudy day, then it isn't efficient, and then it ends up costing you more money.

00:33:08.720 Also, there isn't a scarcity of one kind or the other, and if you do, you don't go to that.

00:33:16.440 It's just incredible.

00:33:17.320 It's a terribly false analogy. 0.88

00:33:20.320 What an embarrassing person.

00:33:22.180 And these so-called all-of-the-above energy strategies are great when you have plenty of money.

00:33:28.960 But you can't do all of the above when you only have so much money, and you've got to be careful with what you have.

00:33:35.340 I can't be going after solar when nuclear is cheaper and we're dealing with AI and other strains on the grid.

00:33:42.160 I can't do that.

00:33:43.280 And meanwhile, the wealthy people in Cape Cod and Hyannisport are blocking any more wind projects because it blocks their view.

00:33:52.780 I mean, the whole thing is just incredible. 1.00

00:33:54.840 But she thinks you're stupid, and the people who wrote that for her aren't her friend. 1.00

00:33:58.820 It's as simple as that. 1.00

00:34:00.140 All right, when we come back here on The Stone Zone, we're going to listen from someone who had some more than just common sense.

00:34:05.560 He was brilliant.

00:34:06.600 Dirty Harry, a fictional character played by Clint Eastwood.

00:34:09.200 He's got something to say to a very unwise character, and that's Mrs. Gavin Newsom.

00:34:13.840 This is The Stone Zone with Roger Stone.

00:34:17.360 And he's a great, great person, Roger Stone.

00:34:21.320 The Stone Zone.

00:34:33.960 Got PC Optimum Points?

00:34:35.700 Visit Shoppers Drug Mart for the bonus redemption event and get more for your points.

00:34:40.720 Friday, April 10th to Wednesday, April 15th.

00:34:43.900 Valid in store and online.

00:34:57.160 This is the Stone Zone with Roger Stone.

00:35:01.020 Roger Stone, who's a very, very, one of the smartest political minds.

00:35:04.920 Roger Stone was persecuted.

00:35:06.140 People forget he's actually a brilliant, brilliant political analyst.

00:35:09.040 Now, get him a zone.

00:35:11.040 It's the Stone Zone.

00:35:13.060 Here's Roger Stone.

00:35:15.380 And I'm Jake Novak filling in for Roger Stone.

00:35:18.080 Speaking of people who are not helping the Democrats,

00:35:21.560 Democrat Governor Gavin Newsom, who's going to run for president in 2028, 0.97

00:35:26.880 his wife is not his friend because she keeps making incredibly moronic statements in public. 0.96

00:35:32.260 and it's like the gift that keeps on giving we either she either makes a new one every day or 0.55

00:35:36.380 they find another one here she is talking about her experience talking to prisoners at san quentin

00:35:42.780 you got to listen to this to believe it i had to be very raw when we interviewed the the young men

00:35:48.220 who were juvenile offenders in san quentin um i told them about my own loss where um my my i lost

00:35:57.060 my older sister a few days before my seventh birthday. And I blame myself for her death.

00:36:02.400 And I share that because that they ultimately were accused of committing these violent crimes

00:36:10.740 and sentenced for life. And I think it shocked them that this, you know, blonde lady who was,

00:36:16.700 you know, the interviewing them had a similar story, was perhaps in the wrong place at the

00:36:23.720 wrong time and but wasn't punished the way they were because clearly it was an accident but

00:36:29.420 theirs was probably an accident too um so anyway i share that just because i it i guess

00:36:36.780 you know i quite enjoy spending time with people and being real and unmasking

00:36:44.740 and showing them that it's safe to unmask themselves beautiful beautiful

00:36:49.420 accused of a crime they were convicted jessica and she's comparing herself in this accidental

00:36:56.320 death of her sister to people who committed violent crimes young or not i mean we can talk

00:37:01.900 about redemption for them but we're not saying it was an accident i mean think of how insulting

00:37:07.940 this is to the families of the victims of these crimes and by the way it's insulting to the

00:37:12.540 criminals too frankly this woman is an insult to a lot of things but you know when someone says 0.97

00:37:18.280 something stupid about San Quentin, and people don't immediately remember this iconic line from 0.99

00:37:24.560 Magnum Force delivered by Clint Eastwood as Dirty Harry, I get sad. So I'm going to do it for you. 0.99

00:37:30.040 And I only wish that Clint Eastwood could deliver this to Jessica right now. Listen to this.

00:37:34.060 Hold on your window.

00:37:35.000 What?

00:37:35.540 Hold on your window. Come on, I've never been wrong yet, have I?

00:37:38.280 I don't know what the hell I'm doing.

00:37:39.860 Say, excuse me. Excuse me. Can you help us out?

00:37:43.260 What do you want?

00:37:44.300 Maybe you could help us. We seem to be lost.

00:37:46.520 We were looking for the entrance to San Quentin.

00:37:48.780 You know where that is?

00:37:49.920 It's back there.

00:37:50.900 Don't you see too good?

00:37:52.100 Yeah, I see fine.

00:37:53.520 I just wanted to know whether you knew where San Quentin was.

00:37:56.140 And you do, don't you?

00:38:02.500 We bleeped out the last line from Clint there. 0.81

00:38:05.920 Yeah, Jessica may know how to get to San Quentin, 0.98

00:38:09.820 but she certainly doesn't know anything about the life of a prisoner,

00:38:13.340 the life of prisoners, of the people who were the victims of those prisoners there.

00:38:18.440 These were convicts.

00:38:19.700 These weren't people who were accused of something.

00:38:22.400 They were convicted.

00:38:24.540 And we don't try to compare ourselves to them because we had an accident once,

00:38:28.440 no matter how terrible it was.

00:38:31.180 My goodness.

00:38:32.080 If Gavin Newsom really wants to be president, I guess he's trying to prove, 0.99

00:38:35.280 can I be the most failed governor in the country with the dumbest first lady 0.98

00:38:39.620 and still win the Democrat nomination? 0.99

00:38:41.540 I guess he's trying to see if he can do that.

00:38:43.780 I'm Jake Novak.
