00:00:00.000 The Stone Zone, on the Red Apple Podcast Network.
00:00:06.120 Welcome. You are entering the Stone Zone, the hottest political commentary show on radio today.
00:00:13.240 Here we tell you the stone-cold truth, and we give it to you straight.
00:00:18.100 Well, after Rhino Tom Tillis, the Republican U.S. Senator from North Carolina,
00:00:25.680 torpedoed the nomination of D.C. interim U.S. attorney Ed Martin,
00:00:32.060 President Donald Trump came back with a strong choice.
00:00:35.280 My colleague here at 77WABC, Judge Jeanine Pirro, a former tough prosecutor,
00:00:43.680 will serve as the interim U.S. attorney for the District of Columbia.
00:00:48.480 Those Democrats who were high-fiving each other may want to think again
00:00:53.220 because Jeanine Pirro was both a tough prosecutor and a tough judge.
00:00:58.920 On True Social, President Trump said,
00:01:01.420 I am pleased to announce that Judge Jeanine Pirro will appoint interim U.S. attorney
00:01:05.940 for the District of Columbia.
00:01:07.500 Jeanine was assistant district attorney for Westchester County, New York,
00:01:11.420 and then went on to serve as a county judge and district attorney,
00:01:14.880 where she was the first woman to ever be selected to those positions.
00:01:18.700 During her time in office, Jeanine Pirro was a powerful crusader for victims of crime.
00:01:25.960 Her establishment of the Domestic Violence Bureau and her prosecutor's office was the first in the nation.
00:01:32.480 She excelled in all ways.
00:01:34.160 In addition to her legal career, she's continued hosting her own show at Fox,
00:01:38.660 as well as at 77 WABC in New York.
00:01:43.240 Justice with Jeanine Pirro is a popular show,
00:01:47.100 and of course, occasionally co-hosting The Five,
00:01:50.020 one of the highest-rating shows on television.
00:01:53.040 Jeanine Pirro is incredibly well-qualified for this position,
00:01:56.560 is considered one of the top district attorneys in history of the state of New York.
00:02:01.740 She's in a class by herself.
00:02:03.480 Indeed, I've known her for over 25 years, and she is.
00:02:07.560 The selection comes after Attorney Ed Martin's appointment was blocked, as I say,
00:02:13.520 in the Senate by Rhino Tom Tillis of North Carolina.
00:02:17.620 Now, I think it is vital that President Trump foster a primary challenge to Tillis,
00:02:26.000 particularly in the first two years of his new term.
00:02:30.600 It's essential from a political point of view that the president signal those of his own party
00:02:37.320 that he is the party leader, and he expects those who are elected largely,
00:02:42.780 in many cases, on his coattails, need to support his agenda.
00:02:47.980 Turning around immediately, President Trump, in a very savvy move,
00:02:54.060 gave Ed Martin a new and perhaps even more powerful office to run.
00:02:59.060 Ed Martin has done an amazing job as the interim U.S. attorney and will now be moving to the Department of Justice
00:03:06.380 as the new director of the Weaponization Working Group,
00:03:11.260 also Associate Deputy Attorney General and a pardon attorney, the president announced.
00:03:17.120 In these highly important jobs, Ed Martin will be sure we finally investigate the weaponization of our government
00:03:23.400 under the Biden and Obama regimes and provide needed justice for its victims.
00:03:30.080 I have a personal interest in this because, well, they tried to destroy my life in the Russian collusion hoax,
00:03:37.700 and we now know that that was perhaps the greatest single abuse of power
00:03:43.680 in American political and governmental history.
00:03:47.000 It was nothing less than the full use of the authority of the United States government
00:03:53.960 and the extraordinary capabilities of our intelligence agencies,
00:03:59.140 utilizing what we now know were two completely fabricated pieces of evidence,
00:04:04.360 the so-called Steele dossier.
00:04:07.400 That was actually commissioned and paid for by Hillary Clinton's campaign.
00:04:12.540 They laundered the bills through a law firm to hide their involvement,
00:04:17.260 but the allegations against President Donald Trump that he had dallied with prostitutes in Moscow
00:04:23.820 when visiting as a private businessman were completely and totally fabricated.
00:04:29.600 Also fabricated was the claim that the Russians hacked the Democrat National Committee
00:04:36.300 and somehow gave that information through the Trump campaign to WikiLeaks for dissemination.
00:04:44.340 It was at my trial, actually, that the FBI was forced to admit
00:04:48.600 that they never actually examined the computer servers at the Democrat National Committee.
00:04:55.860 And when pressed to produce evidence of my trial that this hacking had actually taken place,
00:05:03.160 my lawyers were told, well, that was a matter of national security.
00:05:08.500 Later, however, when the head of CrowdStrikes,
00:05:12.200 that's the left-wing Democrat IT firm
00:05:16.020 who was coming to theoretically examine the computer servers,
00:05:20.780 this fellow, Sean Henry,
00:05:22.740 who just coincidentally happened to be a former deputy
00:05:27.140 of former FBI director Robert Mueller,
00:05:30.520 who was heading this witch hunt,
00:05:32.840 testified under oath before the House Intelligence Committee,
00:05:36.780 he admitted that his famous report,
00:05:40.360 which, by the way, the judge withheld from my defense attorneys at my own trial,
00:05:45.920 had no evidence whatsoever that the Russians had ever hacked the DNC.
00:05:52.740 So now you have a situation in which Ed Martin
00:05:56.200 will be able to examine not only the Russian collusion hoax
00:06:01.700 and the role of not only President Barack Obama,
00:06:05.180 but Vice President Joe Biden,
00:06:08.240 the FBI director James Comey,
00:06:11.080 the CIA director John Brennan,
00:06:14.480 the deputy FBI director Andrew McCabe,
00:06:18.880 the national security advisor Susan Rice,
00:06:21.760 all of whom I would argue could realistically be charged with treason,
00:06:28.200 but he'll also be able to look at the so-called Ukrainian impeachment hoax
00:06:34.880 that was completely cooked up by Congressman,
00:06:38.300 now Senator Adam Schiff,
00:06:40.360 and the Venman brothers,
00:06:42.500 one of them who's now in Congress,
00:06:44.280 both of whom should be in jail.
00:06:46.180 This strikes fear into the hearts of the radical left, I assure you.
00:06:52.340 So Ed Martin has now moved a little higher up in the hierarchy of the Department of Justice,
00:06:58.200 and perhaps, just perhaps, we're finally going to get justice.
00:07:02.320 Only yesterday, Attorney General Pam Bondi made it very clear
00:07:07.540 that the FBI is indeed going through literally thousands of videotapes of Jeffrey Epstein
00:07:16.060 and his well-heeled clients
00:07:19.540 and, unfortunately, thousands of victims,
00:07:23.760 which the Attorney General says are overwhelmingly children underage.
00:07:29.940 It's nauseating.
00:07:30.920 Now, I don't expect those videos to be released
00:07:35.300 because they would be both graphic and pornographic.
00:07:39.920 I do believe that there's going to be justice served
00:07:43.780 as we learn who Jeffrey Epstein's wealthy, powerful clients were.
00:07:49.740 Who was it that he was providing underage playmates for?
00:07:55.580 It's nauseating.
00:07:57.100 I covered all of this in my 2015 book,
00:08:00.840 The Clinton's War on Women,
00:08:02.720 but I still get to read online that people say,
00:08:06.860 oh, Roger Stone, he visited Epstein's Island.
00:08:11.500 We know it was him.
00:08:12.760 He was wearing a bull mask,
00:08:14.560 and we could tell by that Nixon tattoo on his back.
00:08:18.180 By the way, anybody who wants to say that
00:08:20.360 and put their name on it,
00:08:22.180 well, yeah, I'll see you in court.
00:08:24.460 Now, there's a very high barrier for defamation in this country.
00:08:28.020 It's unfortunate if you're a public figure,
00:08:31.060 and I guess I am.
00:08:33.160 Unfortunately, just about anybody can say
00:08:35.640 just about anything they want about you.
00:08:39.240 But accusing me of pedophilia,
00:08:41.440 yeah, that crosses a line.
00:08:43.660 It's interesting to me how the people who fling this
00:08:46.520 always do so anonymously.
00:08:49.080 It is outrageous,
00:08:53.080 but I lay it out there for all to see.
00:08:55.400 If you want to say that and put your name on it,
00:08:57.060 well, I will sue you in a heartbeat.
00:08:59.980 In the meantime, the Democrats have no frontrunner,
00:09:03.420 or their frontrunner is a nightmare hiding in plain sight.
00:09:07.780 Democrats have three years to organize
00:09:10.080 and not a second to waste,
00:09:12.000 but they don't seem to be able to resist the temptation
00:09:15.300 to return back to the future.
00:09:17.700 It's true they offered voters not one,
00:09:20.840 but two of the worst presidential
00:09:23.280 and vice presidential candidates
00:09:24.860 in the history of American politics.
00:09:27.620 Of course, they got saddled with Tim Walsh
00:09:30.880 when Barack Obama vetoed the selection of Josh Shapiro,
00:09:35.780 the governor of Pennsylvania,
00:09:37.720 thought to be the original frontrunner.
00:09:40.360 But Obama evidently decided
00:09:42.680 that they would lose the Muslim American votes
00:09:46.520 in Michigan and Minnesota
00:09:48.600 had they chosen the Jewish candidate Shapiro.
00:09:52.740 In retrospect, they needed Pennsylvania,
00:09:55.160 which they also lost.
00:09:56.800 Shapiro might, might have brought them that,
00:09:59.600 but by playing ethnic and religious politics,
00:10:03.600 they came up with the wackiest candidate
00:10:05.660 for vice president in the history of either party.
00:10:09.400 That guy, as you recall, lied about his military service,
00:10:14.180 lied about seeing combat.
00:10:16.180 He even lied about being a basketball coach,
00:10:19.940 the worst candidate of all time.
00:10:22.700 But Kamala Harris, don't think that she's done,
00:10:26.740 despite her cackle and her affection for Venn diagrams
00:10:31.700 and her inability to express any coherent thought,
00:10:36.760 she still garnered almost 70 million votes.
00:10:41.580 Now, imagine the power of a Democrat nominee
00:10:43.640 who could actually string together an intelligible sentence.
00:10:47.400 There's no one prominent Democrat
00:10:49.600 as proved capable of doing so,
00:10:51.300 at least with more regularity than Harris.
00:10:54.480 She has all the unwritten qualifications
00:10:56.520 of a progressive nominee to non-male, non-white,
00:10:59.860 adept lapsing into an accent
00:11:02.040 at the constituency of the day.
00:11:04.020 She has name recognition, fundraising capability,
00:11:06.900 above all those particular constituencies,
00:11:09.780 a bit of star power.
00:11:12.020 Yes, I speak, of course, of Congresswoman
00:11:14.420 Representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez of New York.
00:11:19.660 I predict to you that she, not Kamala Harris,
00:11:23.080 will make a presidential bid in 2028.
00:11:25.620 The recent clearest indicators yet
00:11:28.880 of her unannounced ambitions
00:11:30.260 seem to be this tour that she's on with Bernie Sanders.
00:11:34.920 She herself said recently,
00:11:37.900 it's actually clear to me that the underlying dynamics
00:11:40.600 in the caucus have not shifted with respect to seniority
00:11:44.200 as much as I think would be necessary.
00:11:46.240 So I'll believe I'll be staying put in the House.
00:11:49.660 Well, that means she's not running for the Senate,
00:11:51.800 meaning she's not challenging Chuck Schumer.
00:11:54.500 It's hard to believe that she could give Schumer
00:11:57.340 a true run for his money.
00:11:59.540 That's how far left New York's Democrat primary has gone.
00:12:04.140 But if AOC chooses to be a candidate, folks, don't laugh.
00:12:08.820 She has to be taken seriously.
00:12:11.440 Despite the fact that I don't like her views,
00:12:14.060 and I think that she's somehow, sometimes pretty wacky
00:12:17.600 in the way she expresses them,
00:12:19.880 she does have star power, she does have charisma,
00:12:23.420 and yes, she could harvest millions and millions
00:12:26.880 of small donations from the hard left.
00:12:31.500 This comes as good news also,
00:12:35.120 as Democrat Representative Jasmine Crockett of Texas
00:12:38.860 evidently may also be interested in the position.
00:12:41.620 Now, perhaps an AOC Crockett ticket
00:12:47.260 is more than Republicans can wish for.
00:12:50.680 Crockett really is out in left field.
00:12:55.020 She's actually advocated violence on numerous occasions,
00:12:59.400 I think crossing a line.
00:13:01.820 If the Democrats should take control of the House
00:13:05.160 in two years, of course,
00:13:06.520 both their positions would be enhanced.
00:13:08.860 I'm praying that doesn't happen.
00:13:11.320 But an AOC Jasmine Crockett ticket for 2028?
00:13:17.620 Well, I mean, Bernie Sanders on his tour
00:13:21.380 seems a little long in the tooth for the nomination.
00:13:24.580 So if I have to guess right now,
00:13:26.520 I'm betting on an AOC Crockett ticket.
00:13:30.200 And I have to admit, Republicans could do no better.

00:15:34.700 The Stone Zone
00:15:36.500 on the Red Apple Podcast Network.
00:15:41.140 And we're back in the Stone Zone.
00:15:43.600 The U.S. Department of Justice
00:15:45.480 has opened a criminal investigation
00:15:47.500 into what appears to be serial mortgage fraud
00:15:51.420 over a almost 40-year period
00:15:53.980 by New York Attorney General Letitia James.
00:15:56.680 One of Ms. James' constituents
00:15:59.960 confronted her only last night.
00:16:03.260 Take a listen.
00:16:04.280 My question is for Tush James.
00:16:07.080 Will you apologize to President Trump
00:16:09.140 for wasting millions of dollars
00:16:11.160 and the state of New York for a witch trial?
00:16:13.780 And how does it feel to know
00:16:16.020 that you will be in prison for mortgage fraud?
00:16:26.380 Thank you for coming.
00:16:27.720 We want to thank him for coming.
00:16:38.820 We respect all opinions.
00:16:41.080 Everybody knows those allegations are baseless.
00:16:45.060 They're discredited.
00:16:47.240 And so we want to thank him.
00:16:49.620 Our next speaker.
00:16:51.620 Yeah, unfortunately for the Attorney General,
00:16:54.400 the allegations are neither baseless
00:16:57.340 nor are they discredited
00:16:59.060 unless, of course, you count
00:17:00.180 the New York Daily News editorial board,
00:17:03.100 which is literally a newspaper
00:17:04.840 that no one is reading.
00:17:06.880 I guess the Albany Times Union,
00:17:09.120 another newspaper no one reads.
00:17:11.320 I've actually looked at the underlying documents.
00:17:14.100 I think that the Attorney General is busted.
00:17:17.480 In addition, we now know that a grand jury
00:17:20.140 in the Eastern District of Virginia
00:17:21.880 sent out subpoenas
00:17:23.500 as related to the accusations
00:17:25.120 that James misrepresented
00:17:27.240 a single-family home in Virginia
00:17:29.420 as her primary residence,
00:17:32.540 in other words, to be owner-occupied,
00:17:34.720 in order to obtain more favorable loan terms.
00:17:38.700 You see, one cannot be,
00:17:40.320 under the New York State Constitution,
00:17:42.400 the Attorney General of New York
00:17:44.480 and reside, as she said she would,
00:17:47.460 under oath in Virginia.
00:17:49.860 News of this criminal probe
00:17:51.320 and the grand jury follows a criminal referral
00:17:54.200 from the Trump administration's
00:17:55.780 Federal Housing Finance Agency director,
00:17:58.600 William Pulte,
00:17:59.560 who requested that the Department of Justice
00:18:01.820 investigate James
00:18:02.900 for both fraud in Virginia
00:18:04.640 and another incident
00:18:05.820 in which he misrepresented
00:18:07.400 the number of livable units
00:18:09.060 in a multifamily Brooklyn house
00:18:11.440 to once again fraudulently obtain
00:18:14.320 better loan terms.
00:18:15.800 James has retained noted defense attorney
00:18:19.280 Abby Lowell,
00:18:21.160 but evidently his bill
00:18:22.800 is now going to be paid for
00:18:24.120 not by Letitia James,
00:18:26.260 but based on a new bill
00:18:27.560 in the legislature
00:18:28.180 by the taxpayers of New York,
00:18:30.420 claiming,
00:18:31.260 because James is saying,
00:18:33.540 the charges against her
00:18:34.600 appear to be political.
00:18:36.180 While the charges against
00:18:37.720 President Donald Trump
00:18:39.020 were political,
00:18:40.180 by the way,
00:18:40.720 the appeals court
00:18:42.040 has already indicated
00:18:43.080 they are likely
00:18:43.820 to overturn that conviction.
00:18:46.100 In fact,
00:18:46.700 the esteemed law professor
00:18:47.980 Jonathan Turley
00:18:49.060 called out
00:18:50.020 the breathtaking irony
00:18:51.460 of the New York
00:18:53.080 Attorney General's
00:18:54.180 legal defense.
00:18:55.860 Karma is crushing here.
00:18:57.340 It's the greatest irony,
00:18:58.460 of course,
00:18:59.100 to hear her counsel
00:19:00.060 and her spokesperson say,
00:19:01.700 this is just wrong
00:19:03.060 because Trump campaigned
00:19:04.380 on against moving
00:19:05.460 against his enemies.
00:19:07.000 Who can forget
00:19:08.000 the fact that
00:19:08.700 Letitia James herself
00:19:10.180 said during her campaign
00:19:11.880 for Attorney General,
00:19:12.900 one of the principal reasons
00:19:14.060 that voters should elect her
00:19:16.440 is that she would
00:19:17.320 get Donald Trump.
00:19:19.240 This, of course,
00:19:19.860 was before she had
00:19:20.780 any evidence of a crime
00:19:22.720 by Donald Trump,
00:19:23.780 so she had to go out
00:19:25.060 and manufacture one.

00:19:36.960 The Stone Zone
00:19:38.360 on the Red Apple Podcast Network.
00:19:42.860 Welcome back.
00:19:44.100 You're back in the Stone Zone.
00:19:45.880 Yesterday,
00:19:46.680 in the Stone Zone,
00:19:47.900 I interviewed
00:19:48.500 Callie Means.
00:19:50.440 His sister,
00:19:52.020 Dr. Casey Means,
00:19:53.460 was appointed
00:19:55.040 Surgeon General
00:19:56.120 of the United States
00:19:57.220 yesterday.
00:19:58.820 And their book,
00:20:00.800 which is entitled
00:20:01.620 Good Energy,
00:20:02.640 The Surprising Connection
00:20:03.780 Between Metabolism
00:20:05.360 and Limitless Health,
00:20:06.720 which I read about
00:20:07.900 two years ago,
00:20:09.440 changed my life
00:20:10.560 in a very big way.
00:20:12.000 It changed everything
00:20:13.000 about my diet
00:20:14.020 and a lot
00:20:15.140 about my lifestyle.
00:20:16.760 But the man
00:20:17.660 I want to interview
00:20:19.060 and bring on now
00:20:20.220 changed my life
00:20:21.120 in a far
00:20:21.760 more profound way.
00:20:23.600 That is
00:20:24.160 my good friend,
00:20:25.560 Pastor Randy Coggins,
00:20:27.220 Randy Coggins II.
00:20:29.720 Now,
00:20:30.060 Randy and his wife,
00:20:31.060 Carrie,
00:20:31.340 seem to have a kid
00:20:32.300 every time I turn around.
00:20:33.540 He's a growing family.
00:20:35.380 He is an incredibly
00:20:36.780 effective apostle
00:20:38.140 for the Lord.
00:20:40.200 And back when I was
00:20:42.700 going through
00:20:43.560 the tribulation
00:20:46.160 of the Russian collusion hoax
00:20:48.040 in which I was put through
00:20:49.680 a Soviet-style show trial,
00:20:51.820 despite the fact
00:20:52.680 that I had actually
00:20:53.640 done nothing wrong,
00:20:55.120 I was being prosecuted
00:20:56.660 because essentially
00:20:58.400 I refused to bear
00:20:59.960 false witness
00:21:00.880 against my friend
00:21:02.260 of now 50 years,
00:21:03.640 Donald Trump.
00:21:05.220 It was a very
00:21:06.720 trying time
00:21:07.620 for me
00:21:08.500 and my family.
00:21:10.740 I admit to you
00:21:11.580 that time came
00:21:12.860 when I realized
00:21:14.700 that I would not
00:21:15.660 get a fair trial,
00:21:17.200 that I was going
00:21:18.700 to be both
00:21:19.400 unconstitutionally gagged
00:21:21.420 so I couldn't even
00:21:22.580 defend myself,
00:21:23.640 but also lynched
00:21:25.100 by a hateful judge,
00:21:27.960 a biased jury
00:21:29.900 forewoman
00:21:31.160 and a rigged
00:21:32.760 D.C. jury.
00:21:34.240 That's not conjecture,
00:21:35.380 by the way.
00:21:35.820 That was actually
00:21:36.620 proven.
00:21:37.720 We learned that
00:21:38.580 the jury forewoman
00:21:40.020 in my trial
00:21:40.860 who said during
00:21:42.360 jury selection
00:21:43.320 and the trial
00:21:44.280 she knew nothing
00:21:45.040 about me,
00:21:45.640 never heard of me,
00:21:46.360 wasn't familiar
00:21:47.280 with the case.
00:21:48.040 In fact,
00:21:48.780 she'd been attacking
00:21:49.700 me and President Trump
00:21:51.560 by name
00:21:52.300 on both her Twitter
00:21:53.580 and her Facebook pages
00:21:55.360 for a full year,
00:21:57.280 19 months actually
00:21:58.560 before she was selected
00:22:00.300 as a juror
00:22:01.440 and the jury forewoman
00:22:02.440 in my trial,
00:22:03.260 but she had those
00:22:04.460 attacks on me
00:22:05.340 by name
00:22:06.060 regarding the very case
00:22:07.920 in which she was selected
00:22:09.040 on a private setting,
00:22:11.640 so my lawyers
00:22:14.000 in due diligence
00:22:14.980 could not find them.
00:22:16.020 In any event,
00:22:17.260 time came when I
00:22:18.480 hit rock bottom
00:22:19.800 and it was
00:22:21.280 Pastor Randy Coggins
00:22:23.000 who relentlessly
00:22:25.240 urged me to turn
00:22:26.440 my burden
00:22:27.460 over to the Lord.
00:22:29.200 It was
00:22:29.800 Pastor Randy Coggins
00:22:31.500 who arranged
00:22:32.360 the meeting
00:22:32.900 with Reverend
00:22:34.180 Franklin Graham
00:22:35.280 that really did
00:22:37.360 change my life.
00:22:38.960 Up until that time,
00:22:40.940 many, many
00:22:41.740 pastors,
00:22:43.360 priests,
00:22:44.160 rabbis,
00:22:44.740 and other clerics
00:22:45.640 were urging me
00:22:46.980 to change my life,
00:22:49.160 to turn this horrific
00:22:50.160 burden and stress
00:22:51.900 over to the Lord,
00:22:53.200 but I wasn't
00:22:54.360 feeling it,
00:22:55.020 I wasn't hearing it.
00:22:56.480 That was until
00:22:57.280 Randy Coggins
00:22:58.240 set up this
00:22:59.640 fateful meeting
00:23:00.580 with Reverend
00:23:01.700 Franklin Graham
00:23:02.640 and of course
00:23:04.280 I was still
00:23:04.860 thinking politically.
00:23:06.080 I said,
00:23:07.360 you know,
00:23:08.020 Pastor Graham,
00:23:09.780 I really think
00:23:11.220 that I'm going
00:23:12.200 to be destroyed here,
00:23:14.100 that I'm going
00:23:14.380 to be lynched,
00:23:15.380 and I wondered
00:23:15.780 if you could put
00:23:16.540 in a good word
00:23:17.460 for me
00:23:17.980 with the President
00:23:19.580 regarding
00:23:20.180 executive clemency
00:23:21.340 since my lawyers
00:23:22.640 would no longer
00:23:23.380 let me talk
00:23:24.100 to Donald Trump,
00:23:25.620 nor would
00:23:26.820 Donald Trump's
00:23:27.760 lawyers let him
00:23:29.340 talk to me.
00:23:31.040 And Franklin Graham
00:23:32.880 said,
00:23:33.960 well,
00:23:34.640 I'll see what
00:23:35.880 I can do about that,
00:23:36.700 but let me give you
00:23:37.300 a much better
00:23:38.440 piece of advice.
00:23:39.340 You need to turn
00:23:39.960 your burden
00:23:41.100 over to the Lord.
00:23:43.260 You need to confess
00:23:44.660 your sins
00:23:45.400 and get right
00:23:45.960 with God,
00:23:46.720 and I guarantee you,
00:23:47.700 he said,
00:23:48.500 Randy Coggins
00:23:49.300 was there,
00:23:49.780 I guarantee you,
00:23:50.580 the Lord will
00:23:51.000 lift you up,
00:23:52.040 he will deliver
00:23:52.900 you from your
00:23:54.160 persecutors.
00:23:55.600 And then Randy
00:23:56.880 Coggins and I
00:23:57.660 went out into
00:23:58.260 this open field
00:23:59.320 with several
00:24:00.580 thousand other
00:24:01.460 Christians,
00:24:02.240 and the time
00:24:03.220 came in his
00:24:04.520 oration
00:24:06.120 that Pastor Graham
00:24:08.260 said,
00:24:08.840 Reverend Graham
00:24:09.420 said,
00:24:09.860 I don't care
00:24:10.260 whether your
00:24:10.540 problem is
00:24:11.100 alcoholism,
00:24:12.680 or gambling
00:24:13.960 addiction,
00:24:14.720 or drug addiction,
00:24:15.760 or family problems,
00:24:16.720 or health problems,
00:24:18.180 or financial
00:24:19.640 problems.
00:24:20.700 If you turn
00:24:21.580 your burden
00:24:21.980 over to the Lord,
00:24:22.780 if you confess
00:24:23.340 your sins,
00:24:24.000 get right with
00:24:24.520 God,
00:24:24.880 the Lord will
00:24:25.520 lift you up.
00:24:26.920 And those who
00:24:27.700 want to live
00:24:28.380 with our
00:24:28.740 Heavenly Father
00:24:29.480 forever,
00:24:30.460 rise now,
00:24:32.000 and along
00:24:33.440 with me,
00:24:34.100 confess your sins,
00:24:35.540 and you will
00:24:36.220 be saved.
00:24:36.860 And in that
00:24:37.360 moment,
00:24:39.060 thanks to the
00:24:39.700 urgings of Randy
00:24:40.560 Coggins and
00:24:41.700 to Franklin Graham,
00:24:42.820 I stood in an
00:24:43.660 open field with
00:24:44.560 200,
00:24:45.620 300 other
00:24:46.600 Christians,
00:24:47.240 I confessed my
00:24:48.020 sins,
00:24:48.460 and everything
00:24:49.240 in my life
00:24:49.960 changed.
00:24:50.880 And I was,
00:24:51.640 of course,
00:24:52.060 delivered from
00:24:52.800 my persecutors,
00:24:54.120 ultimately,
00:24:55.100 after going
00:24:55.780 through hell
00:24:56.440 in a D.C.
00:24:58.120 rigged trial.
00:24:59.480 But when
00:25:00.260 President Donald
00:25:01.020 Trump understood
00:25:02.660 that I was being
00:25:04.200 persecuted and
00:25:05.400 prosecuted simply
00:25:06.620 because of my
00:25:07.320 refusal to lie
00:25:08.720 and bear false
00:25:10.040 witness against
00:25:10.620 him,
00:25:11.080 he cumulated
00:25:11.740 my sentence
00:25:12.460 and later
00:25:13.960 gave me a
00:25:14.720 full and
00:25:15.280 unconditional
00:25:16.060 pardon,
00:25:17.300 Christmas of
00:25:18.120 2020.
00:25:21.320 Pastor Randy
00:25:22.100 Coggins,
00:25:22.680 God bless you
00:25:23.320 and welcome
00:25:23.800 to the Stone
00:25:24.940 Zone.
00:25:26.200 Roger,
00:25:26.720 thank you so
00:25:27.260 much.
00:25:27.540 It's an honor
00:25:27.940 to be back
00:25:28.560 and I'm
00:25:30.240 grateful to
00:25:31.440 have a small
00:25:32.000 part of what
00:25:33.280 God has done
00:25:34.080 in your life
00:25:35.300 for sure.
00:25:35.680 So thank you
00:25:36.100 for having me
00:25:36.580 on the Stone
00:25:37.060 Zone today.
00:25:37.500 I appreciate it.
00:25:38.600 Yeah,
00:25:38.840 it's amazing to
00:25:39.740 me,
00:25:40.040 and I've told
00:25:40.820 that story again,
00:25:41.800 of course,
00:25:42.220 because we have
00:25:42.800 a limited amount
00:25:43.400 of time here,
00:25:44.000 I gave the
00:25:44.460 shortened version
00:25:45.240 of it,
00:25:45.700 but you were
00:25:46.180 relentless,
00:25:47.320 just relentless
00:25:48.220 in urging me
00:25:49.760 to take refuge
00:25:50.580 in the Lord
00:25:51.220 and turn my
00:25:51.940 burden over
00:25:52.380 to the Lord.
00:25:53.180 I don't know
00:25:54.060 that I would
00:25:54.700 have ultimately
00:25:55.300 done that,
00:25:55.900 but when I
00:25:57.540 came out publicly
00:25:58.500 and announced
00:25:59.860 that I'd had
00:26:00.540 this change
00:26:01.120 in my life,
00:26:02.700 Washington Monthly
00:26:04.360 mocked me.
00:26:06.620 I mean,
00:26:06.960 they mocked me,
00:26:09.160 said this is
00:26:09.640 some kind of
00:26:10.300 a head fake,
00:26:11.820 this is some
00:26:12.340 kind of an act,
00:26:13.280 this is some
00:26:13.760 kind of a
00:26:14.380 public appeal
00:26:15.580 for sympathy,
00:26:16.840 so I've said
00:26:17.340 many times,
00:26:18.000 I don't really
00:26:18.420 care what they
00:26:19.280 think,
00:26:19.680 I only care
00:26:20.300 what he
00:26:21.440 thinks,
00:26:22.800 and it is
00:26:24.520 a blessing,
00:26:26.280 you are a
00:26:26.820 blessing.
00:26:27.540 How many
00:26:28.000 children do
00:26:28.480 you have now?
00:26:29.820 We have four,
00:26:30.740 we have four
00:26:31.420 now,
00:26:32.060 four children
00:26:32.620 now,
00:26:33.240 the oldest
00:26:34.020 is nine,
00:26:35.060 and the youngest
00:26:35.500 is one,
00:26:36.900 and then,
00:26:37.900 but to go back
00:26:39.040 on what you
00:26:39.360 were saying,
00:26:39.920 though,
00:26:40.480 it's amazing
00:26:41.440 how none
00:26:41.880 of this was
00:26:42.300 planned as
00:26:43.100 far as me
00:26:44.560 and you,
00:26:45.460 our connection,
00:26:46.560 relationship,
00:26:47.620 what God's
00:26:48.120 done in your
00:26:48.500 life.
00:26:49.380 I was sitting
00:26:50.360 in Miami,
00:26:51.080 Florida,
00:26:52.040 at my wife's
00:26:54.480 grandparents'
00:26:55.180 home the
00:26:56.140 morning of
00:26:57.120 when the FBI
00:26:57.940 raided your
00:26:58.620 home,
00:26:59.400 and at that
00:27:00.060 point,
00:27:00.540 I had never
00:27:01.760 met Roger
00:27:02.420 Stone,
00:27:03.360 and I
00:27:03.880 watched,
00:27:04.340 I saw the
00:27:04.840 CNN footage,
00:27:06.080 I saw
00:27:06.500 everything,
00:27:07.000 and I said,
00:27:07.360 hey,
00:27:07.460 this is not
00:27:07.860 right,
00:27:08.680 and I
00:27:09.100 knew from
00:27:09.480 that moment,
00:27:10.420 I felt God
00:27:11.240 spoke to me
00:27:12.020 and said,
00:27:13.660 you need to
00:27:14.940 go after this
00:27:15.740 guy because
00:27:16.640 he needs my
00:27:17.700 help,
00:27:18.580 and from
00:27:19.760 that moment,
00:27:21.160 we connected
00:27:22.340 in Sarasota,
00:27:23.300 and God did
00:27:23.800 the rest,
00:27:24.300 and so I'm
00:27:24.660 super,
00:27:25.080 super grateful
00:27:25.960 to be a part
00:27:26.780 of the journey
00:27:27.220 with you and
00:27:27.720 Edia and your
00:27:28.780 family for sure.
00:27:30.100 Your wife,
00:27:30.940 Carrie,
00:27:31.340 is also a
00:27:32.180 pastor.
00:27:32.640 She's a
00:27:32.960 wonderful woman.
00:27:33.600 You have a
00:27:33.900 beautiful family,
00:27:35.260 and we consider
00:27:36.920 you family,
00:27:37.860 I do think
00:27:39.160 that there's
00:27:39.700 a spiritual
00:27:40.560 revival going
00:27:41.360 on in
00:27:41.900 America.
00:27:43.220 You can
00:27:43.500 see it,
00:27:44.040 you can
00:27:44.340 feel it,
00:27:44.940 it transcends
00:27:46.980 politics to
00:27:47.800 say the
00:27:48.540 very least.
00:27:51.140 Again,
00:27:52.380 I notice,
00:27:53.420 and I've
00:27:53.780 started,
00:27:54.820 I'm new
00:27:55.660 in my
00:27:56.000 faith journey,
00:27:57.240 I'm new
00:27:57.620 in my
00:27:57.900 faith walk,
00:27:58.580 but I'm
00:27:59.040 getting more
00:28:00.260 and more
00:28:00.800 familiar with
00:28:02.200 the Bible,
00:28:02.680 and I used
00:28:03.820 to think it
00:28:04.240 was just
00:28:04.640 some kind
00:28:05.300 of outdated
00:28:06.000 book of
00:28:07.640 fables,
00:28:08.480 the language
00:28:09.160 was hard
00:28:09.880 to understand.
00:28:11.560 Now I
00:28:12.100 understand,
00:28:13.160 and I've
00:28:13.720 got one of
00:28:14.120 these Bibles
00:28:14.640 that gives
00:28:15.020 you a guide
00:28:15.760 that helps
00:28:16.580 you put the
00:28:20.260 language in
00:28:20.860 more common,
00:28:21.600 everyday idiom,
00:28:23.100 makes it more
00:28:23.860 understandable,
00:28:25.240 but I now
00:28:25.740 realize that the
00:28:26.860 Bible is an
00:28:27.480 incredibly practical
00:28:28.980 book,
00:28:29.540 that it really
00:28:30.240 addresses virtually
00:28:31.640 any problem
00:28:32.560 or any
00:28:33.240 issue in
00:28:34.220 which you
00:28:34.700 might be
00:28:35.580 curious.
00:28:36.980 It has
00:28:37.640 really become
00:28:38.200 a very
00:28:38.880 important part
00:28:39.720 of my life.
00:28:40.320 There's a
00:28:40.940 very good
00:28:41.660 friend who's
00:28:42.200 a pastor
00:28:42.660 in Canada.
00:28:43.780 I think he
00:28:44.180 gets up at
00:28:44.720 like 5 o'clock
00:28:45.580 in the morning
00:28:46.120 and he picks
00:28:46.660 out one
00:28:47.900 important part
00:28:49.060 of the Bible
00:28:49.580 for me to
00:28:50.160 read that
00:28:51.160 day.
00:28:52.760 And that's
00:28:53.520 how I start
00:28:54.080 my day,
00:28:54.480 every single
00:28:54.980 morning.
00:28:56.200 And then I
00:28:57.000 still, as a
00:28:57.780 Catholic, I
00:28:58.260 still say the
00:28:58.800 rosary at
00:28:59.400 night, and
00:29:00.820 there are
00:29:01.060 specific people
00:29:01.960 that I'm
00:29:03.100 praying for
00:29:03.720 who may be
00:29:04.200 going through
00:29:04.760 issues, health
00:29:06.000 issues, or
00:29:06.580 other issues, so
00:29:07.460 I pray for
00:29:08.460 them.
00:29:08.940 It's an
00:29:09.800 important part
00:29:10.840 of my life.
00:29:11.460 If you told
00:29:11.940 me this 15
00:29:12.540 years ago, I
00:29:13.420 would never,
00:29:14.380 ever have
00:29:14.700 believed it.
00:29:16.180 Yeah.
00:29:17.380 Yeah.
00:29:18.100 The Word of
00:29:19.120 God is an
00:29:19.880 incredible
00:29:20.760 resource, and
00:29:22.180 it's something
00:29:22.620 that you said
00:29:23.220 that transcends
00:29:24.020 time.
00:29:25.060 It transcends
00:29:26.120 politics, and
00:29:27.840 it's amazing
00:29:28.740 how you can
00:29:29.340 read one
00:29:29.980 passage of
00:29:30.700 Scripture one
00:29:31.300 day, but
00:29:32.200 then read it
00:29:32.840 several days
00:29:33.580 later, and
00:29:34.020 then something
00:29:34.400 else pops out
00:29:35.220 at you.
00:29:36.020 So it's an
00:29:37.680 amazing thing.
00:29:38.820 It's a living
00:29:39.280 thing.
00:29:41.000 It says in
00:29:41.320 the Bible that
00:29:41.780 the Word is
00:29:42.220 the same
00:29:42.500 yesterday, today,
00:29:43.340 and forever.
00:29:43.840 It never
00:29:44.100 changes.
00:29:45.240 So it's a
00:29:46.340 powerful, powerful
00:29:47.120 tool.
00:29:48.460 Randy, tell us
00:29:49.740 about your
00:29:50.460 family, because
00:29:51.180 you come from
00:29:52.200 a long tradition
00:29:53.340 of pastors.
00:29:53.900 preachers.
00:29:55.400 Yeah.
00:29:56.280 My parents, going
00:29:58.380 into my great
00:29:59.060 grandparents, all
00:30:00.560 Pentecostal
00:30:01.580 preachers, and
00:30:03.180 was raised at a
00:30:04.480 pastor's home, and
00:30:06.400 I accepted, I
00:30:08.720 felt the call to
00:30:10.780 preach at a very
00:30:11.440 young age.
00:30:12.500 At the age of 12
00:30:13.640 years old, I was in
00:30:14.560 a revival service
00:30:15.820 at my father's
00:30:17.440 church in
00:30:17.840 northeast Georgia,
00:30:18.620 and I had what
00:30:20.280 I call a super
00:30:21.160 spiritual experience.
00:30:23.560 And it was at
00:30:24.020 that moment I
00:30:24.560 told God, whatever
00:30:25.180 you want me to
00:30:25.760 do, I'll do.
00:30:26.360 Whatever you want
00:30:26.840 me to say, I'll
00:30:27.420 say.
00:30:28.120 And wherever you
00:30:28.740 want me to go, I'll
00:30:29.500 go.
00:30:29.760 And I always tell
00:30:30.500 people, be very
00:30:31.220 careful when you
00:30:32.580 tell God that, because
00:30:33.620 he just might make
00:30:34.360 you do it.
00:30:35.400 And that is
00:30:37.140 exactly what
00:30:37.800 happened in my
00:30:38.340 life.
00:30:38.700 And I had a
00:30:39.740 semi, if you want
00:30:40.880 to call it, semi
00:30:41.580 normal teenage
00:30:43.340 years, middle
00:30:44.480 school, high
00:30:44.980 school, and all
00:30:45.440 that stuff.
00:30:46.020 But I knew that
00:30:46.640 there was a call
00:30:47.340 in my life.
00:30:49.280 And right after
00:30:50.140 high school, I
00:30:51.820 started really
00:30:52.420 digging in to
00:30:53.820 that call, seeking
00:30:55.100 the face of God
00:30:55.840 for my life, and
00:30:57.320 stepped into
00:30:58.260 full-time ministry
00:30:59.240 on the road from
00:31:01.080 2014 to 2020.
00:31:03.400 I was an
00:31:04.620 itinerant evangelist
00:31:05.740 and preached 80
00:31:07.220 to 100 dates a
00:31:08.160 year.
00:31:08.620 All across the
00:31:09.620 nation, all across
00:31:10.300 the world, television,
00:31:11.900 radio, different
00:31:12.660 churches, from
00:31:14.060 non-denominational
00:31:15.400 churches to
00:31:16.260 independent
00:31:16.680 churches.
00:31:17.340 To all
00:31:18.920 sides of the
00:31:19.980 aisle there.
00:31:21.220 And then in
00:31:22.620 2020, I
00:31:23.720 began pastoring.
00:31:25.280 And now we
00:31:26.260 are pastoring
00:31:27.320 outside of
00:31:28.080 Atlanta, Georgia,
00:31:29.180 the campus
00:31:29.580 pastor of
00:31:30.140 Seven Springs
00:31:30.640 Church in
00:31:31.120 Lithia Springs,
00:31:31.840 Georgia.
00:31:32.580 And I'm super
00:31:33.480 excited.
00:31:34.020 This summer
00:31:36.320 will be my
00:31:37.900 11th year in
00:31:38.660 full-time
00:31:39.040 ministry.
00:31:40.260 And God
00:31:40.860 is blessing
00:31:42.020 us during the
00:31:42.660 season.
00:31:43.120 So I'm super
00:31:44.060 grateful about
00:31:44.820 everything that
00:31:45.380 we've seen
00:31:46.300 in ministry
00:31:48.280 this far.
00:31:49.320 I cannot
00:31:50.400 tell you how
00:31:51.320 impressed I
00:31:52.860 continue to be
00:31:53.900 with Franklin
00:31:54.700 Graham.
00:31:55.880 As you know,
00:31:56.980 as a very
00:31:57.680 young man, I
00:31:58.320 met Billy
00:31:58.800 Graham when I
00:31:59.380 was working for
00:31:59.940 President Richard
00:32:00.660 Nixon.
00:32:01.420 I actually still
00:32:02.340 have an autographed
00:32:04.120 Bible, a signed
00:32:05.000 Bible that Billy
00:32:05.880 Graham gave me
00:32:06.620 then.
00:32:07.540 And it's right on
00:32:08.820 the bookshelf next
00:32:09.680 to a Bible that
00:32:10.480 Franklin Graham gave
00:32:11.440 me when I was
00:32:13.320 saved more
00:32:14.280 recently.
00:32:15.640 When you add
00:32:16.860 these to the
00:32:20.360 literally hundreds
00:32:21.720 of Bibles that
00:32:22.460 people have
00:32:23.020 mailed me,
00:32:24.600 that is the
00:32:25.880 truth, those
00:32:27.460 are two of my
00:32:28.120 prouted possessions.
00:32:29.420 He's done
00:32:30.680 amazing, amazing
00:32:32.020 work, particularly
00:32:32.680 the charitable
00:32:33.260 work, particularly
00:32:34.280 when you had
00:32:35.460 these natural
00:32:36.020 disasters in
00:32:36.940 North Carolina.
00:32:38.120 I mean, again,
00:32:40.540 Franklin Graham
00:32:41.280 is not his
00:32:42.540 father.
00:32:43.080 He has his
00:32:43.920 own individual
00:32:45.840 style, but he's
00:32:47.300 an extremely
00:32:48.060 effective apostle
00:32:49.300 for the Lord, and
00:32:50.560 he's doing great,
00:32:51.580 great public
00:32:52.440 works.
00:32:53.980 Absolutely.
00:32:54.800 Absolutely.
00:32:55.800 It's Samaritan's
00:32:57.280 Purse.
00:32:58.640 Amazing
00:32:59.240 organizations.
00:33:00.440 Amazing
00:33:00.720 organizations.
00:33:01.760 And going back
00:33:02.740 to what you said,
00:33:03.540 though, we are
00:33:04.000 truly in a
00:33:05.740 spiritual revival.
00:33:07.740 I believe that
00:33:08.660 within our
00:33:10.140 nation, but not
00:33:10.800 just within our
00:33:11.360 nation, but
00:33:12.020 around the world.
00:33:13.800 We saw just
00:33:14.600 the other day
00:33:16.060 the Catholic
00:33:18.040 Church.
00:33:19.560 We saw a
00:33:21.080 brand new
00:33:21.480 Pope come to
00:33:22.280 light, Pope
00:33:24.300 Leo.
00:33:25.540 And so we are
00:33:26.580 in very, very
00:33:27.500 interesting times.
00:33:29.120 And I think
00:33:29.500 not just
00:33:30.000 interesting times,
00:33:31.000 but exciting
00:33:32.540 times, I
00:33:34.280 believe, in the
00:33:35.760 body of Christ
00:33:36.500 as a whole.
00:33:37.740 Well, you
00:33:38.840 know, I'm, as
00:33:40.260 a Catholic, the
00:33:41.600 jury is out on
00:33:42.580 the new Pope.
00:33:43.220 I'm very hopeful.
00:33:44.920 I was a critic, in
00:33:46.360 all honesty, of
00:33:47.840 Pope Francis.
00:33:49.340 I did not like the
00:33:50.600 fact that he
00:33:51.300 brought Cardinal
00:33:54.340 Theodore McCarrick,
00:33:55.320 who was exposed as a
00:33:56.960 vicious pedophile,
00:33:58.040 back to the
00:33:59.760 Vatican as an
00:34:01.080 advisor.
00:34:01.820 I particularly
00:34:02.560 didn't like the
00:34:03.160 fact that
00:34:04.140 Pope Francis
00:34:05.860 reached an
00:34:06.880 accommodation with
00:34:07.720 the Chinese
00:34:08.200 Communist Party
00:34:09.100 that essentially
00:34:09.720 allowed them to
00:34:11.120 veto who could be
00:34:13.100 a bishop or a
00:34:14.060 priest in China.
00:34:15.420 I think
00:34:16.040 accommodation with
00:34:17.040 evil is evil,
00:34:18.960 and Chinese
00:34:19.700 communism is one
00:34:21.220 of the most
00:34:21.620 brutal, most evil
00:34:22.760 regimes in the
00:34:24.060 history of man.
00:34:25.820 I really objected
00:34:28.340 to that.
00:34:28.800 I also did not
00:34:30.980 like the fact
00:34:33.480 that the church
00:34:34.260 was never
00:34:35.020 critical of
00:34:36.420 radical Islam.
00:34:38.700 I'm hoping,
00:34:39.920 more importantly,
00:34:41.100 however, that the
00:34:41.720 new Pope will
00:34:43.820 recognize that
00:34:44.720 matters such as
00:34:45.980 the issue of
00:34:46.660 illegal immigration,
00:34:48.240 political matters,
00:34:49.340 are outside his
00:34:51.220 responsibilities as
00:34:52.700 the leader of the
00:34:53.520 church.
00:34:53.920 I mean, as a
00:34:55.420 Catholic, there's a
00:34:56.160 time when the
00:34:56.760 Pope speaks,
00:34:57.720 a Catholic, he
00:34:58.700 speaks from the
00:35:00.580 throne of Peter,
00:35:01.480 he speaks in the
00:35:02.340 voice of God,
00:35:03.460 the other times
00:35:04.180 when he's issuing
00:35:05.080 opinions that,
00:35:06.100 well, and sometimes
00:35:06.660 I think are
00:35:08.280 inappropriate.
00:35:09.740 This new Pope has
00:35:11.220 criticized President
00:35:12.540 Trump, Vice
00:35:13.160 President Vance.
00:35:14.440 I do not think
00:35:15.500 that is his role.
00:35:16.760 We're going to be
00:35:17.220 back for more
00:35:18.080 discussion of the
00:35:19.580 new Pope and also
00:35:20.560 this great, I
00:35:22.280 think, religious
00:35:23.660 revival that's
00:35:24.540 happening in
00:35:25.000 America with my
00:35:26.060 good friend,
00:35:26.660 Pastor Randy
00:35:27.220 Coggins.
00:35:27.720 On the other
00:35:28.140 side, don't go
00:35:29.180 away, we'll be
00:35:29.740 right back in the
00:35:30.420 Stone Zone.

00:36:56.660 of connection.

00:37:20.700 The Stone Zone
00:37:22.000 on the Red Apple Podcast Network.
00:37:26.380 And we're back
00:37:27.380 in the Stone Zone.
00:37:28.200 We're talking to
00:37:28.820 Pastor Randy Coggins.
00:37:30.500 Randy Coggins is really
00:37:31.780 the real reason
00:37:33.540 that I am redeemed
00:37:34.860 in the blood of the cross.
00:37:35.920 He changed my life
00:37:38.120 and I'm proud
00:37:39.040 to call him my friend.
00:37:40.080 He's almost like a,
00:37:41.180 he is like a member
00:37:42.380 of my family.
00:37:43.980 And we're talking
00:37:45.180 about this great revival
00:37:46.360 that I think
00:37:46.760 is going on in America.
00:37:48.520 Tough question
00:37:49.060 for you, Randy.
00:37:50.280 And that is,
00:37:51.520 and many Christians
00:37:52.720 disagree about this,
00:37:53.640 but I'm interested
00:37:54.220 in your view
00:37:54.740 on the role
00:37:55.900 of prophecy
00:37:56.900 in the church.
00:37:58.780 Along with the Bibles
00:37:59.860 given to me
00:38:00.420 by Billy Graham
00:38:01.600 and Franklin Graham,
00:38:02.560 I have the personal Bible
00:38:03.860 of Kim Clement.
00:38:04.960 Kim Clement was
00:38:05.820 a famous Christian prophet,
00:38:07.960 had many, many prophecies
00:38:09.820 that turned out
00:38:10.420 to be eerily accurate.
00:38:13.020 And I know
00:38:14.040 different people
00:38:14.680 disagree about this,
00:38:15.760 but your view
00:38:16.600 of prophecy
00:38:17.220 in the church?
00:38:20.020 Yes, the role
00:38:22.220 of prophecy
00:38:24.700 in the church,
00:38:25.800 I believe,
00:38:27.240 as a Pentecostal believer,
00:38:30.060 is still very,
00:38:31.600 very active today.
00:38:32.820 something about prophecy
00:38:35.080 is prophecy
00:38:35.580 reveals God's heart
00:38:36.940 and God's intentions.
00:38:39.700 If you look up
00:38:40.500 the word prophecy,
00:38:41.400 prophecy
00:38:41.740 is simply
00:38:43.480 a divine communication
00:38:45.000 from God
00:38:46.520 to his people.
00:38:47.500 When we read
00:38:48.280 the word of God,
00:38:49.040 we read that happening
00:38:50.160 numerous times,
00:38:51.700 numerous places
00:38:52.480 from,
00:38:53.780 you know,
00:38:54.880 quote, unquote,
00:38:55.880 God's prophets.
00:38:56.840 prophets.
00:38:58.000 Now, you know,
00:38:58.920 we live in a time
00:38:59.820 where just because
00:39:01.160 someone necessarily
00:39:02.280 calls themselves
00:39:03.040 a prophet
00:39:03.520 doesn't make them
00:39:04.200 a prophet.
00:39:05.820 That's why
00:39:06.640 God instructs us
00:39:08.080 in the word of God,
00:39:08.940 you know,
00:39:09.140 you test the words.
00:39:10.860 You test the words
00:39:12.000 that people give.
00:39:13.680 You either accept them
00:39:15.120 for what it is
00:39:16.420 or you don't accept it
00:39:17.640 for what it is.
00:39:18.220 So it reveals
00:39:19.200 his heart,
00:39:19.720 his plans,
00:39:20.300 his purposes.
00:39:22.860 And in scripture,
00:39:24.340 though,
00:39:24.580 prophecy often
00:39:25.220 served to warn,
00:39:27.560 correct,
00:39:28.240 encourage,
00:39:28.740 and guide.
00:39:30.460 But one thing
00:39:31.460 about prophecy
00:39:32.080 is prophecy
00:39:32.700 always points
00:39:33.520 to Jesus as well.
00:39:35.200 Revelation chapter 19,
00:39:36.480 verse 10 says
00:39:37.180 the testimony of Jesus
00:39:38.400 is the spirit
00:39:39.880 of prophecy.
00:39:41.260 So true biblical prophecy
00:39:43.000 always glorifies Jesus
00:39:44.600 and always aligns
00:39:45.700 with his word.
00:39:46.880 It always leads people
00:39:48.020 towards him,
00:39:48.760 not away from him.
00:39:50.400 So prophecy builds,
00:39:51.900 encourages,
00:39:52.540 and it strengthens
00:39:53.680 the church.
00:39:54.320 But prophecy
00:39:54.940 also warns of judgment,
00:39:57.540 calls of repentance.
00:39:59.340 It prepares the church
00:40:01.260 as a whole,
00:40:01.940 not just one specific church
00:40:03.800 or one specific denomination
00:40:05.240 or affiliation,
00:40:07.460 but it prepares the church
00:40:08.380 for what's ahead.
00:40:09.780 But again,
00:40:10.520 like I said,
00:40:11.240 prophecy must be tested
00:40:12.340 and rooted in scripture.
00:40:14.040 It says in 1 Thessalonians
00:40:16.300 chapter 5,
00:40:16.900 verses 20 through 21,
00:40:18.020 it says,
00:40:18.900 do not treat prophecies
00:40:19.960 with contempt,
00:40:21.080 but test them all.
00:40:22.420 Hold on to what is good.
00:40:23.860 So a word may be powerful
00:40:25.060 or emotional,
00:40:25.740 but it's not prophetic
00:40:27.360 unless it aligns
00:40:28.600 with scripture
00:40:29.080 and it aligns
00:40:30.200 with the character of Christ.
00:40:31.340 So that's my,
00:40:31.980 that's my two cents
00:40:33.520 on prophecy.
00:40:35.200 Well,
00:40:35.400 that was the perfect answer.
00:40:37.620 Look,
00:40:37.860 I'm a Catholic
00:40:38.700 who believes in prophecy.
00:40:40.180 I followed Kim Clement.
00:40:41.840 Kim Clement said
00:40:42.780 the giant
00:40:43.680 would be brought down
00:40:45.320 by a simple stone.
00:40:46.260 Don't remember that name.
00:40:47.280 Now I want to be clear.
00:40:48.280 I'm not claiming
00:40:48.920 to be a prophet.
00:40:49.820 I'm not claiming
00:40:50.280 to be a saint.
00:40:51.000 That's for sure.
00:40:52.040 I am merely a soldier
00:40:53.460 in God's army,
00:40:54.380 but I will do his will.
00:40:55.820 And it is only thanks
00:40:57.400 to Pastor Randy Coggins
00:40:59.280 and to Reverend Franklin Graham
00:41:01.200 that I changed my life
00:41:03.160 and I'm proud
00:41:03.800 of my belief in Christ.
00:41:05.520 Thank you very much
00:41:06.160 for joining us today.
