Summary

Trump's Middle East breakthrough will create a golden age of peace and prosperity, unless, of course, Republicans and Democrats working together mess it up. President Trump has been greeted with open arms in the Arab world. This is, in my view, the Great Trump Reset, the end of a neocon domination of our foreign policy, which pursued endless foreign war, where our inherent national interest was never clear, erosion of our civil liberties, and massive, massive debt.

00:00:07.500 Well, Donald Trump's Middle East breakthrough will create a golden age of peace and prosperity.
00:00:14.380 Unless, of course, Republicans and Democrats working together mess it up.
00:00:19.420 For the past several days, President Trump has been greeted with open arms in the Arab world.
00:00:24.540 This is, in my view, the great Trump reset, the end of a neocon domination of our foreign policy,
00:00:33.320 which pursued endless foreign war, where our inherent national interest was never clear,
00:00:40.000 erosion of our civil liberties and, of course, massive, massive debt.
00:00:45.440 The president was greeted to a hero's welcome in Qatar.
00:00:49.000 He was given an incredible ovation in Saudi Arabia.
00:00:52.020 The amount, immense amount of goodwill created by these visits cannot be overstated in Reda.
00:00:58.720 Trump gave a historic speech where he denounced neoconservatism, foreign inventionism,
00:01:05.380 nation building and the failed U.S. military interventionism of the Middle East in the past.
00:01:12.740 Listen to President Trump.
00:01:13.840 The transformations have been unbelievably remarkable before our eyes.
00:01:19.880 A new generation of leaders is transcending the ancient conflicts of tired divisions of the past
00:01:26.220 and forging a future where the Middle East is defined by commerce, not chaos,
00:01:31.820 where it exports technology, not terrorism,
00:01:34.300 and where people of different nations, religions, and creeds are building cities together,
00:01:40.500 not bombing each other out of existence.
00:01:44.360 We don't want that.
00:01:45.220 And it's crucial for the wider world to note this great transformation has not come from Western interventionists
00:02:02.360 or flying people in beautiful planes giving you lectures on how to live and how to govern your own affairs.
00:02:10.500 No, the gleaming marvels of Riyadh and Abu Dhabi were not created by the so-called nation-builders,
00:02:17.840 neocons or liberal non-profits like those who spent trillions and trillions of dollars failing
00:02:24.580 to develop Kabbalah, Baghdad, so many other cities.
00:02:31.420 Instead, the birth of a modern Middle East has been brought by the people of the region themselves,
00:02:38.140 the people that are right here, the people that have lived here all their lives,
00:02:41.400 developing your own sovereign countries, pursuing your own unique visions,
00:02:46.580 and charting your own destinies in your own way.
00:02:50.360 It's really incredible what you've done.
00:02:52.240 And in the end, the so-called nation-builders wrecked far more nations than they built,
00:02:58.280 and the interventionalists were intervening in complex societies that they did not even understand themselves.
00:03:07.180 They told you how to do it, but they had no idea how to do it themselves.
00:03:11.720 Peace, prosperity, and progress ultimately came not from a radical rejection of your heritage,
00:03:17.720 but rather from embracing your national traditions and embracing that same heritage that you love so dearly.
00:03:26.000 That was an incredible rebuke of the Democrats and the neocon Republican establishments which came before Trump.
00:03:36.640 So, of course, it should come as no surprise that the Republicans in the U.S. House and Senate
00:03:40.960 almost immediately snapped into action to attempt to undermine President Trump's diplomatic breakthrough
00:03:47.060 and to bring the country closer once again to another war in the Middle East.
00:03:53.100 177 House Republicans and every Senate Republican except Rand Paul of Kentucky issued a letter to President Trump,
00:04:00.860 fear-mongering yet again about Iran's nuclear canard
00:04:04.460 and insisting that they are on the verge of the development of a nuclear bomb.
00:04:10.160 Quote, we write to express our strong support for your efforts to secure a deal with Iran
00:04:15.000 that dismantles its nuclear program and to reinforce the explicit warnings that you
00:04:20.880 and officials in your administration have issued that the regime must permanently give up any capacity
00:04:26.760 for enrichment, the letter says.
00:04:29.000 We cannot afford another agreement that enables Iran to play for time.
00:04:32.960 The Iranian regime should know that the administration has full congressional backing
00:04:38.360 to ensure its ability to enrich our uranium is permanently eliminated.
00:04:44.220 Now, the choice that we make will echo through the generations.
00:04:48.440 As my good friend, Colonel Douglas McGregor, said on this very show, The Stone Zone,
00:04:53.820 we're very fortunate that the Iranians are actually willing to negotiate with us again
00:04:58.320 and perhaps we can reach a solution.
00:05:01.180 There are no guarantees.
00:05:02.600 This will take leadership from the highest levels, starting with President Donald Trump.
00:05:07.000 So let's talk plainly about what awaits America if a war with Iran is pursued.
00:05:14.280 Within hours of the first strike, Iran would seal the Strait of Hormuz, choking the artery
00:05:20.780 through which one-fifth of the world's oil flows.
00:05:25.020 Gas prices will not merely rise.
00:05:27.440 They will erupt like a volcano, burning through family budgets.
00:05:31.700 The economic security Americans built with their own hands since the pandemic disaster could
00:05:37.280 be destroyed.
00:05:38.580 Immediate price increases and the loss of certain goods and services would also result.
00:05:44.260 Yet the cost in treasure, according to Colonel McGregor, stands as nothing compared to the cost
00:05:50.240 in blood because Iran is not the Iraq of our past wars.
00:05:55.140 You see, Iran consists of 85 million people fortified by mountains.
00:05:59.400 Russia and China have drawn a clear and unambiguous red line for the first time since missiles
00:06:05.940 were placed in Cuba.
00:06:07.580 We face not only the shadow, but the very real substance of nuclear confrontation, not for
00:06:14.160 our country, but for the regional ambitions of a foreign state 7,000 miles from home that
00:06:21.120 goads us towards war.
00:06:22.780 We must face the truth.
00:06:24.560 Our weaker allies often attempt to get us to conduct their wars.
00:06:30.160 Our wars, while we assist allies, American soldiers, sailors, airmen, and Marines should
00:06:36.320 not and cannot be sacrificed for the territorial expansions that serve no vital strategic interest.
00:06:44.380 I don't believe we should sacrifice American lives on foreign soil while American soil thirsts
00:06:50.560 for our attention.
00:06:51.180 We should not trade America's prosperity for another state's regional hegemony while American
00:06:57.200 prosperity continues to deteriorate.
00:07:00.520 We must not abandon America's Democrat principles for imperial ambition.
00:07:05.900 And while those principles are our best hope for justice, we cannot allow them to fade for
00:07:11.440 lack of attention.
00:07:13.120 The true strength of America has never been measured by regimes toppled, but by our lives improved.
00:07:19.300 As Colonel McGregor said, while we secure the borders of other people's states, our communities
00:07:25.060 are crumbling while we send billions abroad.
00:07:28.140 Americans must not choose between medicine or food.
00:07:32.300 This is not America first.
00:07:33.720 This is America last.
00:07:35.560 Imagine instead that we might create a home with trillions that this war will cost.
00:07:40.880 Hospitals in rural areas where mothers drive hours to deliver.
00:07:43.940 High-speed rail connecting our cities like steel arteries, pulsating with the lifeblood of commerce.
00:07:50.620 A more prosperous, safer, more secure America.
00:07:54.320 That's what Donald Trump supports.
00:07:56.280 The clean energy systems harnessing the same sun that warned Washington and Balaji Fords,
00:08:02.240 where every child from Appalachia to the inner city receives an education worthy of our republic.
00:08:07.600 The Constitution placed the power to decide between peace and war in the hands of the American people.
00:08:14.400 They made this decision last November.
00:08:17.400 They voted for peace.
00:08:19.240 They did not vote for war with Iran.
00:08:21.940 We must put America first.
00:08:24.440 Make the phones ring until they cannot ignore the righteous thunder of the people.
00:08:28.600 Call your members of Congress and tell them you oppose unilateral war.
00:08:34.160 You oppose a strike on Iran that will only hurt America.
00:08:38.600 This is a vital fight.
00:08:41.020 Donald Trump is leading the way.
00:08:43.920 Generations of Americans will look back and determine whether we made the right decision or not.
00:08:49.920 In the meantime, it is absolutely clear that John Brennan has freaked out over the fact that the director of national intelligence, Tulsi Gabbard, fired two deep state officials.
00:09:04.280 The Gabbard fired top officials leading the National Intelligence Council because whistleblowers described them as radically opposed to Trump and has moved that agency right over to her office,
00:09:17.200 the office of the director of the director of national intelligence.
00:09:20.660 Gabbard, as I reported yesterday, fired Mike Collins, who was serving as the acting chair of the National Intelligence Council,
00:09:27.080 who was deliberately undermining incoming Trump administration policy as well as his top deputy.
00:09:33.740 But John Brennan, the former CIA director, the the chief orchestrator of the Russian collusion hoax, said that he was livid.
00:09:42.620 Let's listen to John Brennan.
00:09:44.940 This whole thing just makes me livid.
00:09:46.480 It's appalling and outrageous and demonstrates why Tulsi Gabbard never should have been confirmed as director of national intelligence.
00:09:53.560 Michael Collins and Marie Langen Rykoff are two of the most experienced, accomplished and talented analysts in the entire U.S. intelligence community.
00:10:03.820 With over 60 years of combined experience, they have worked for successive administrations since the 1990s.
00:10:11.860 They have demonstrated time and time again their capabilities, their competence, their integrity, and they have served as role models for a generation of intelligence officers inside of CIA.
00:10:23.080 They're CIA officers by background, by training.
00:10:25.400 And this is going to have real reverberations within the workforce because, as Congressman Hines pointed out, it's clearly a signal to tell analysts throughout the intelligence community, you tell the truth.
00:10:37.380 You provide objective analysis as you're supposed to be doing.
00:10:40.460 You are running the risk of getting fired.
00:10:42.600 And Michael and Maria are really the quintessential analysts that you want to have providing insight and information and analysis to policymakers so they make the right decisions for U.S. policymakers.
00:10:57.080 But this is a very tangible example of such dangerous and insidious corruption within the Trump administration.
00:11:03.700 What's appalling and courageous is how John Brennan conducted himself at the CIA.
00:11:10.080 Brennan, first of all, saintfully set up two dozen Trump advisors without any probable cause for surveillance by the U.S. intelligence apparatus.
00:11:19.380 I was one of those two-zoned people.
00:11:21.940 He also colluded with foreign intelligence to conduct illicit, politically-moded spying operations in violation of the U.S. Constitution.
00:11:29.760 It was Brennan who was instrumental in the illegal FISA warrants and wiretaps who were deployed in the lead-up to the 2016 presidential election while targeting Trump's most vocal supporters, myself included.
00:11:43.740 A U.S. court found in 2023 that the misuse of the FISA courts extended far beyond the mere targeting of Trump actors,
00:11:50.980 citing the FBI found the mechanism had been used to improperly spy over 300,000 times on American citizens without proper warrants.
00:12:01.900 This confirms the worst fears of civil libertarians.
00:12:05.880 The Durham report proved demonstrable evidence that it was Brennan who first cooked up the Russian collusion hoax with President Barack Obama, Vice President Joe Biden.
00:12:16.920 He knew that the Steele dossier was a fraud.
00:12:21.500 He knew that it had been discredited, but he used it nonetheless as the rationale for an illegal, illicit, and unconstitutional plot to frame Donald Trump as a puppet of the Russian President Vladimir Putin.
00:12:36.860 Brennan used this foreign disinformation to set up Russiagate and that frame job against the president.
00:12:43.480 This is the same John Brennan who funneled arms and money into the hands of the ISIS militants as they wreaked havoc across the Middle East and Europe.
00:12:52.460 Brennan is an admitted communist who said publicly that he voted for the Communist Party candidate in the 1990s.
00:12:58.940 It was Brennan who approved the visas of four of the 11 hijackers who attacked America on 9-11 when he was the station chief in RIDA.
00:13:07.660 And then there's the question of his own conversion to radical Wahhabism when he was the CIA station chief, as attested to by John Guandolo, the counterterrorism CIA agent.
00:13:22.480 Brennan was aware the Steele dossier was a fraud.
00:13:25.240 He's engaged in what I think is traitorous activity.
00:13:28.640 His claim that the Russians hacked the Democrat national computer servers is yet another lie for which he has no proof.
00:13:35.400 John Brennan is outraged.
00:13:37.360 No, I'm outraged that he's outraged.
00:13:40.500 Tulsi Gabbard is firing people who are disloyal to the president.
00:13:44.060 You're listening to The Stone Zone.
00:13:45.640 I'm getting pretty excited.
00:13:47.360 We'll be right back.

00:14:39.260 Welcome back.
00:14:40.320 You're back in The Stone Zone.
00:14:41.900 In the next segment, we're going to be taking your questions.
00:14:44.580 Please go to askstone at stonezone.com.
00:14:48.040 That's askstone at stonezone.com.
00:14:51.300 We will take as many of your questions as we can.
00:14:54.380 They can relate to the news, politics, history, food, culture, style, fashion, movies, you name it.
00:15:02.520 But I'm here to take your questions.
00:15:04.320 That's askstone at stonezone.com.
00:15:07.580 We're talking about former CIA director John Brennan.
00:15:11.420 He has now finally had his national security clearance lifted.
00:15:17.480 Brennan was involved in the electoral interference and the censorship programs that helped screw Donald Trump out of his rightful re-election in 2020.
00:15:25.980 In fact, he was one of the 51 former intelligence officials who penned a letter proclaiming the contents of Hunter Biden's laptop as Russian disinformation and propaganda,
00:15:37.680 which we now know to be completely and totally false.
00:15:41.280 And then it was Brennan and his cohorts who strong armed the the social media companies to keep this legitimate story regarding Hunter Biden's laptop from the American people.
00:15:57.400 Polls actually showed that 17 percent of voters would not have voted for Joe Biden had they known that the laptop was real.
00:16:05.720 Everything I know about Hunter Biden's laptop, I read in the New York Post, who accurately called this entire scandal spies who lie.
00:16:17.320 So rather than attacking Tulsi Gabbard, perhaps the Justice Department could be looking at the illegal activities of John Brennan and others,
00:16:28.400 because someone should be held accountable for the improper actions and politicization of intelligence.
00:16:34.240 It takes time to weed them out and fire them.
00:16:38.100 Tulsi Gabbard, precisely the right woman for this job.
00:16:41.320 She's doing the right thing.
00:16:43.300 All right.
00:16:43.660 Well, I remind you, we're going to be taking your questions in the next segment.
00:16:46.840 Go to Ask Stone at Stone Zone dot com.
00:16:50.920 Ask Stone at Stone Zone dot com.
00:16:53.600 We're going to jam in as many of your questions today as we possibly can.
00:16:58.240 I'm also going to touch on the fact that President Trump has come out against the birthright citizenship,
00:17:05.860 which he is challenging in the Supreme Court.
00:17:08.760 Talk about that on the other side as well.
00:17:11.800 So once again, if you want, if you have a question, go to Ask Stone at Stone Zone dot com.
00:17:18.060 We're going to take as many as of your questions as we possibly can.
00:17:21.580 We appreciate your tuning in to the show every single day where we talk news, politics, sports, history, style, food, food part.
00:17:33.060 I really like that right here in the zone.
00:17:36.120 Don't go away.
00:17:37.180 We'll be right back with more of the Stone Zone.
00:17:39.680 The Stone Zone, entertaining and informative on the Red Apple Podcast Network.
00:17:54.620 Welcome back.
00:17:55.620 We're back in the Stone Zone.
00:17:57.220 We're going to be taking your questions.
00:17:58.800 Go to Ask Stone at Stone Zone dot com.
00:18:01.800 That's Ask Stone at Stone Zone dot com.
00:18:04.840 We're going to give you a few minutes to get your questions in.
00:18:07.300 In the meantime, the Supreme Court met today to hear arguments on the White House's emergency request to stop nationwide injunction
00:18:14.420 that has been put in place against birthright citizenship and Donald Trump's executive order ending same.
00:18:21.160 Hours after taking office, President Trump had signed an executive order ending birthright citizenship.
00:18:27.280 That is giving children born in the U.S. the immediate right to citizenship, even when their parents are not U.S. citizens.
00:18:34.660 This order was intended to stop women from entering the United States illegally and giving birth to what are called anchor babies,
00:18:42.220 whose citizenship is then used for their own benefit.
00:18:45.900 It was immediately challenged, of course, by left wing organizations and now has found its way to the U.S. Supreme Court,
00:18:52.060 which currently is hearing arguments from both sides.
00:18:55.980 President Trump asked the Supreme Court to stay this nationwide injunction issued by the federal judges.
00:19:01.620 Trump released a statement on True Social this morning, slamming the abuses of the loophole in this law,
00:19:08.200 specifically regarding anchor babies.
00:19:10.640 Big case today in the United States Supreme Court, said Trump.
00:19:13.920 Birthright citizenship has no was not meant for people taking vacations to become permanent citizens of the United States
00:19:21.440 and bringing their families with them all the time laughing at the suckers that we have been.
00:19:27.080 The United States is the only country in the world that does this, and for that reason, which nobody knows,
00:19:33.260 but the drug cartels love it.
00:19:35.760 We are, for the first, for the sake of being politically correct, a stupid country if we continue to do this,
00:19:41.600 but in actuality, this is the exact opposite of being politically correct.
00:19:46.480 And yet another point that needs to the dysfunction of America.
00:19:50.740 Birthright citizenship is about the babies of slaves.
00:19:54.100 As conclusive proof, the Civil War ended in 1865.
00:19:58.360 The bill went to Congress less than a year later in 1866 and was passed shortly after that.
00:20:04.020 It had nothing to do with illegal immigration for people wanting to scam our country from all parts of the world,
00:20:10.260 which, of course, they have done.
00:20:12.680 It had to do with the Civil War results of the babies of slaves who our politicians felt correctly needed protection.
00:20:19.520 Please, would somebody explain this to the Supreme Court of the United States?
00:20:24.700 A very strong and forthright Donald Trump.
00:20:27.500 All right, we're going to go to your questions.
00:20:29.040 Our first question comes from Stal in Staten Island.
00:20:33.000 He says, Roger, what do you think of this new requirement for real ID?
00:20:39.200 You know, I think this is the worst idea I've ever heard.
00:20:42.160 I'm planning on heading to New York this weekend for the Italian-American Civil Rights League gathering out in Queens.
00:20:53.760 And I would just learn that when I go to the airport, I'll be required to have one of these new real IDs.
00:21:01.140 You can only get one by providing specific records and documents for the federal government.
00:21:07.200 Your ID will be labeled with a black or gold star.
00:21:10.260 Now, the Department of Homeland Security Secretary, Kristi Noem, has promised that, at least initially,
00:21:16.460 people without the real ID will only have to face some extra scrutiny at security checkpoints at the airport.
00:21:23.400 But eventually, everyone will be required to have one.
00:21:27.880 The reason they give us for this is that the real IDs will be used to prevent those who are not legally eligible to vote from voting
00:21:37.360 or those who are not legally eligible to receive Social Security benefits because they are not U.S. citizens from receiving such benefits.
00:21:47.840 Sounds good.
00:21:49.560 But what it really does is give the government a biometric record of every single person in America.
00:21:57.020 This is something conservatives and libertarians have opposed for decades.
00:22:03.140 But this law, the Real ID Act, that was actually passed 20 years ago in 2005.
00:22:08.500 It was one of the many measures rolled out in the wake of the 9-11 attacks.
00:22:13.860 It was presented to the public as being necessary to ensure that similar attacks would never happen again.
00:22:19.020 But the truth is, when you go back and look at it, none of the 11 hijackers who attacked America used a fake ID in their efforts to get on the planes,
00:22:28.280 their successful efforts to get on the planes.
00:22:31.180 So I think in this case, Alex Jones, my good friend, is absolutely right.
00:22:35.700 The real goal here is to create a biometric record of every American.
00:22:41.840 And to me, that is dangerous.
00:22:44.780 I'm opposed to these real IDs because I think the possibility for abuse is obvious.
00:22:52.840 Thank you for your question.
00:22:54.260 Beth from Columbus said yesterday you spoke about repealing the Patriot Act.
00:22:59.720 Do you really think that's a good idea?
00:23:03.000 I must tell you, I do think it is a good idea.
00:23:06.360 It's yet another example of precisely what we are talking about.
00:23:09.980 We were told that the Patriot Act, which allows the government to surveil American citizens essentially without a warrant,
00:23:20.540 with no probable cause, and to hold American citizens in permanent secret detention,
00:23:27.520 was going to be a temporary measure to fight Islamic terrorism.
00:23:32.680 But the Patriot Act has been re-approved every four years for the Congress with very, very minor revisions.
00:23:43.240 It is kind of obvious to me that it has been abused, but the crown jewel of that abuse was the fact that the FISA courts were used to spy on President Donald Trump.
00:23:57.240 Now, it is a perfect example of the abuse.
00:24:02.420 The due process has been eviscerated.
00:24:04.900 Civil liberties became a thing of the past.
00:24:07.580 And we watched as the supposedly pro-freedom Republican Party has promoted the Patriot Act.
00:24:14.600 When Trump ran for president in 2016, the true agenda behind these measures, such as the Patriot Act, came to light.
00:24:20.600 That secret FISA courts authorized the illegal surveillance and spying on Trump's campaign in order to frame Trump as a Russian agent.
00:24:29.040 We talked about John Brennan's role in that just a few minutes ago.
00:24:35.200 It is interesting to me that Congresswoman Anna Polina Luna of Florida has proposed legislation to repeal the Patriot Act.
00:24:45.080 And it is legislation I strongly, strongly support.
00:24:49.800 Thank you for your question.
00:24:52.220 Here is a question from Eric in Weehawken, New Jersey.
00:24:56.500 He says, people say there's a lot you can learn about politics from pro wrestling.
00:25:02.460 Have you ever watched pro wrestling?
00:25:04.300 Do you have a favorite wrestler?
00:25:06.040 And have you gleaned anything from pro wrestling?
00:25:10.620 Well, you're absolutely right.
00:25:12.140 American politics is a lot like pro wrestling.
00:25:16.060 My favorite wrestler, by the way, is Randy Orton.
00:25:19.920 Now, my good friend Sal, he's a Roman Reigns fan, but I disagree.
00:25:27.040 Randy Orton has the third, he's tied for the third most world championship reigns in history, a wrestling career spanning over 20 years.
00:25:37.340 He performs under the SmackDown brand.
00:25:39.960 And Orton is widely regarded as one of the greatest professional wrestlers of all time.
00:25:45.420 Yes, I am a Randy Orton fan.
00:25:48.800 And there's a lot that is comparable when it comes to politics and professional wrestling.
00:25:55.920 There's a lot of head fakes.
00:25:57.940 There's a lot of posturing.
00:25:59.640 But above all, there's entertainment.
00:26:01.860 You see, as Richard Dixon once told me, the only thing in politics worse than being wrong is being boring.
00:26:10.300 This, of course, is the great strength of President Donald Trump.
00:26:14.360 He is never boring.
00:26:17.200 The thing about Trump, who I've now known for 50 years, hates it when I say that, says it makes both of us sound old, is that he is not scripted.
00:26:27.120 He is not reading talking points written by someone else.
00:26:33.580 He is not managed.
00:26:36.120 He's not handled.
00:26:37.200 What you see is what you get.
00:26:39.520 He's genuine.
00:26:40.900 He's authentic.
00:26:42.260 That's why I think he won to begin with.
00:26:45.400 Thank you so much for your question.
00:26:48.260 You can count me as a Randy Orton fan here.
00:26:51.980 Another question, by the way, you can send us your questions by going to askstone at stonezone.com.
00:26:59.000 That's askstone at stonezone.com.
00:27:03.240 We'll get in as many of your questions today as we possibly can.
00:27:08.140 Here is a question, which is, let's see, from Terry in Fairfield, Connecticut.
00:27:17.160 Terry says, I just read a story that said that New Hampshire dominates the pizza scene in America, not New York, not New Jersey, not Connecticut.
00:27:28.580 Well, I saw that study.
00:27:30.380 It's not a study regarding pizza quality.
00:27:33.660 It is a study that has to do with pizza density, meaning how many pizzas there are per sales per capita based on the population and what the average cost of pizza is.
00:27:50.240 To me, Connecticut will always be the pizza mecca as a New Haven style of pizza.
00:27:57.600 You find it at Frank Pepe's.
00:27:59.720 You find it at Sally's.
00:28:01.600 You find it at the spot.
00:28:03.000 You're now finding it moving into South Florida, I might add.
00:28:07.320 So don't get confused here.
00:28:10.340 The study you mentioned mentions the fact that there were a certain number of pizzas per 100,000 residents.
00:28:17.740 It was based on a survey of Google searches.
00:28:21.340 The state of New Hampshire has 1,022 pizzerias, which equates to 72.73 pizzerias per 100,000 residents.
00:28:31.420 Interesting, but that does not speak to the quality of the pizza.
00:28:36.600 Add now the high pizza enthusiasm because there were 22,512 pizza related searches per 100,000 residents.
00:28:47.380 And the average cost of pizza was the lowest in the country at $15.74.
00:28:55.520 So you've got a state where people love pizza, but it will never be the kind of pizza you get in New York, New Jersey or Connecticut.
00:29:07.440 Under Mayor Eric Adams, of course, they're trying to outlaw coal-fired ovens in New York City.
00:29:13.880 This would do away with some of the great pizza meccas.
00:29:19.540 It would be outrageous.
00:29:21.160 It would be typical of the overreach.
00:29:23.540 But I'll stick with the New York style or perhaps my real favorite New Haven style.
00:29:29.760 I'll pass on the New Hampshire pizza if you don't mind.
00:29:34.580 Here's a question from Keith in Sandusky, Ohio.
00:29:39.360 Keith says, I see Steve Bannon saying yet again that Donald Trump will run for a third term.
00:29:47.640 In fact, he expects him to be sworn in at the end of this term.
00:29:52.860 What say you?
00:29:54.600 I can only assume that Steve is trawling, doing this for clicks because he knows as well as I do,
00:30:01.300 that the U.S. Constitution specifically prohibits any person from serving more than two four-year terms as president.
00:30:11.480 Now, they don't have to be contiguous terms, as we've seen in the case of President Grover Cleveland,
00:30:19.280 a conservative Democrat, a New Yorker, a former sheriff, by the way, of Erie County.
00:30:24.220 That's Buffalo, a former governor of New York.
00:30:27.340 And, of course, Donald Trump, whose two terms are not contiguous.
00:30:31.540 A meeting with Meet the Press about a week ago, President Trump finally gave up this particular troll and said,
00:30:38.160 no, he had no intention of running for another term in 2028.
00:30:44.940 The idea put forward by some that the party would nominate Vice President J.D. Vance.
00:30:51.660 Vance would then choose Trump as his running mate.
00:30:54.720 The ticket would win.
00:30:56.440 Vance would then resign as president.
00:31:00.060 Trump would move up to the presidency.
00:31:01.960 He would then appoint J.D. Vance as another four-year term as vice president,
00:31:08.700 which, of course, would be subject to the confirmation by the U.S. Senate.
00:31:14.000 That's a fairy tale that is highly unlikely to happen.
00:31:18.320 I will be happy, as President Trump said, with four great years.
00:31:23.240 Four great years.
00:31:24.140 I think we're about to have them.
00:31:25.940 So I did note that the president said that he will not just automatically hand the baton to Vice President J.D. Vance,
00:31:35.780 although he had high praise for Vance, he also praised Secretary Marco Rubio as a potential candidate.
00:31:43.320 I put a former congresswoman, currently the head of the director of national intelligence,
00:31:49.480 Tulsi Gabbard, in that group as well.
00:31:53.060 But the president said we could have as many as 16 candidates.
00:31:58.700 So I think you should look for a spirited competition for the Republican nomination for president
00:32:05.360 at the end of the golden age years of Donald Trump.
00:32:10.940 He's forging new alliances for peace in the Middle East.
00:32:15.560 He got a $1 trillion deal from the Saudis.
00:32:22.060 He got a $1.4 trillion deal with UAE.
00:32:29.180 Those are investments in the United States.
00:32:31.280 He got a $200 billion deal to buy airplanes from Qatar.
00:32:36.500 Donald Trump means business.
00:32:38.460 He's committed to peace, prosperity, security, and, well, lastly of all, justice.
00:32:44.840 So I'm still optimistic that we're entering a golden age, but like the president, I'll be happy with four great years.
00:32:54.620 Don't go away.
00:32:55.400 We'll be right back to take more of your questions here in the Stone Zone.
00:32:59.040 This is the Stone Zone with Roger Stone.

00:33:11.160 The Stone Zone.
00:33:13.180 Entertaining and informative.

00:33:26.980 AskStone at StoneZone.com.
00:33:28.940 We're still going to squeeze in as many of your questions as we possibly can.
00:33:34.760 Here is a question for Eric in Boca Raton.
00:33:38.220 Eric says,
00:33:38.960 Well, there's a lot of disinformation here, so let's dispel it.
00:33:56.360 First of all, I had handled the recount for Governor Tom Kane of New Jersey, who, by the way, celebrated his 90th birthday, I believe, two days ago, a campaign where he won by 1,209 votes out of 2 million cast.
00:34:14.660 I was his chief strategic consultant.
00:34:17.740 Because of that, Jim Baker, who had been the White House chief of staff, recalled my expertise in recounts and asked me to go to Florida.
00:34:27.720 There were more cooks than necessary, more chiefs than Indians in Palm Beach, and I was sent to Miami.
00:34:36.040 Now, in Miami, Democrat election officials were attempting to recount the same chief of ballots that they had recounted three times.
00:34:47.760 At the point that the two Democrat commissioners attempted to remove these ballots into a closed-door room with no observers, no windows, no lawyers, no one from the media, that was a violation of the state's sunshine law.
00:35:06.520 So, yes, I directed the Republicans who were observers not to let the door be closed and not to allow them to remove those ballots.
00:35:16.040 Therefore, the claim that we used intimidation tactics to close down the recount are categorically false.
00:35:26.440 But I'm glad to have the opportunity to answer your question.
00:35:31.380 Here is another question.
00:35:34.520 This is from Ellen.
00:35:36.500 Ellen is in Des Moines, Iowa.
00:35:38.880 Ellen says, have you seen the movie The Apprentice about Donald Trump?
00:35:44.820 And what did you think about it?
00:35:46.460 Well, I have seen the movie.
00:35:49.620 First of all, the actor who plays me.
00:35:52.120 Well, first of all, I'm way better looking.
00:35:55.000 I'm way better dressed.
00:35:58.000 And the story is a bastardization of the truth.
00:36:02.920 The actor who plays Roy Cohn does a masterful job, I must say.
00:36:08.400 He captured the legendary attorney fixer's mannerisms, his idiosyncratic speech patterns, his gesticulation.
00:36:21.500 It is really uncanny.
00:36:23.280 I think he deserved an Academy Award that he did not get.
00:36:27.320 But the backstory that Roy Cohn threatened to expose sexual misconduct by the head of the tax abatement board in New York City in order to get the approval of the Trump's redevelopment of the Commodore Hotel on 42nd Street is a vile lie.
00:36:48.500 It is a falsehood.
00:36:50.560 New York was dying in those days, and they needed the development.
00:36:54.080 Donald Trump was one of the few volunteer, I would say, frontier entrepreneurs willing to invest in New York City.
00:37:02.320 And it is how you got what would ultimately be the Hyatt Hotel.
00:37:06.600 A great movie, but not historically accurate.
00:37:12.340 Worth seeing, if for no other reason, just for the portrayal of the legendary lawyer Roy Cohn.
00:37:19.900 But the historical facts, unfortunately, are untrue.
00:37:25.880 I'm afraid we're out of time for today.
00:37:28.620 I want to thank you for tuning in to The Stone Zone.
00:37:31.440 I particularly want to thank those who sent their questions.
