00:00:00.580 The Stone Zone, entertaining and informative on the Red Apple Podcast Network.
00:00:07.400 And welcome on a Tuesday night. I'm Jake Novak filling in for Roger Stone.
00:00:11.680 Roger Stone will be joining us at the bottom of the hour, 830 Eastern Time, so we can look forward to that.
00:00:17.600 Until then, let's not ignore elephants in the room or bigger than an elephant in the room, the big story,
00:00:24.200 both here in the United States and internationally,
00:00:27.480 and that is this Iran peace deal or ceasefire deal or end of hostilities deal.
00:00:35.680 And I'll tell you, not only professionally,
00:00:38.080 but colleagues and friends of mine in my private life have been asking me about it all day.
00:00:45.060 Last couple of days, what do I think?
00:00:47.080 What do I think about the points in the deal?
00:00:49.740 What do I think about what's really going to happen?
00:00:54.200 and I have probably a rather shocking immediate conclusion about this.
00:00:59.920 I don't know if you can continue to call it immediate, though,
00:01:02.300 because I've had a couple of days to think about this.
00:01:05.500 And many of you know that in addition to my 32 years in TV and radio journalism
00:01:10.760 and also as an editorial columnist and a showrunner,
00:01:14.820 and now I'm a radio host and all those kinds of things,
00:01:17.940 I was also a diplomat for a couple of years.
00:01:20.240 So I have a decent perspective about this.
00:01:23.960 I don't think I'm the smartest guy about it. 0.90
00:01:26.700 I don't think I'm the dumbest guy about it either.
00:01:30.100 But this, of course, is an area of expertise about me. 0.55
00:01:32.820 And when I say I'm not the smartest guy, I mean, I don't have all the inside details.
00:01:37.920 I'm not James Bond.
00:01:39.320 I'm also not Henry Kissinger in this situation.
00:01:41.680 I'm not privy to all the facts.
00:01:44.780 And no one probably is other than maybe President Trump and a few other people.
00:01:49.860 But I have something rather shocking to say about it, I think, to some people, and that is it doesn't matter what's in the deal.
00:01:58.960 It doesn't matter.
00:02:00.960 Not that I don't think it should be publicized.
00:02:02.860 Don't get me wrong.
00:02:03.580 I'm not saying we don't have the right to see it and we shouldn't scrutinize it.
00:02:07.160 I'm not saying that.
00:02:07.960 But at the end of the day, let's remember whom we're dealing with, and it doesn't matter what's on the paper.
00:02:16.160 It doesn't matter what they sign.
00:02:17.500 I don't care if it's the most favorable deal in the world that's ever been made for them or not. 1.00
00:02:27.340 The Iranians won't honor it. 1.00
00:02:29.840 They will break this deal and fast. 1.00
00:02:33.240 Of this, I have very little doubt.
00:02:37.820 If there are some nudniks out there, and again, sometimes a Yiddish or Italian word,
00:02:41.900 and there's probably a few other languages, foreign languages like that,
00:02:44.540 just capture the sentiment better than english does nudniks are it's hard to explain just 0.69
00:02:51.220 basically a pain in the butt if there are some nudniks out there who wanted someone did this to
00:02:56.660 me on social media today on my x account at jake jake ny someone saying well you don't know what 0.93
00:03:01.880 they're gonna do no one can predict the future yeah technically that's true but that's just
00:03:07.640 a nudnik like comment to make i know what they've done time after time after time and i know that
00:03:14.020 Some of the people running the regime right now are completely new.
00:03:17.140 I get that new in that position, but they're not new to the regime.
00:03:21.260 They've been brought up in this regime.
00:03:24.560 Both professionally, personally, culturally and religiously.
00:03:29.280 And let me tell you something. 0.97
00:03:31.120 It's the easiest prediction in the world.
00:03:34.340 They are not going to uphold the deal and they will break it very quickly.
00:03:38.760 So that's doesn't matter what's in the deal.
00:03:40.880 Let's not get too crazy about that.
00:03:42.520 Should we demand it be published?
00:03:44.020 Should we see it? Absolutely.
00:03:46.820 And just because I'm a conservative and mostly a Republican, I'm not going to, you know, I'm not a Democrat at all,
00:03:52.220 but I'm just saying I'm usually I consider myself more of a conservative than someone who votes for a particular party.
00:03:58.900 But I'm not giving a pass to the Trump administration or to the Republican.
00:04:02.740 They've got to they've got to publish this thing.
00:04:05.120 And I think they have just now.
00:04:06.780 And OK, so I'm not saying they should be given just the benefit of the doubt.
00:04:11.960 We're not going to look at it.
00:04:12.700 That's that's not the reason why it doesn't matter. 0.97
00:04:14.460 It doesn't matter because the Iranians will break the deal no matter what's in it. 0.97
00:04:19.500 Of that, I am certain and just about anyone who's thinking is certain. 0.97
00:04:27.920 And if you say, well, you don't know that.
00:04:29.560 Well, I don't know 100 percent that the sun's going to rise in the east tomorrow, but I feel extremely confident. 1.00
00:04:36.640 OK, please don't be a nutnik. 0.99
00:04:38.840 It just it's such a time waster. 0.84
00:04:40.300 that's that's for it's also really immature this is what you do when you're in college and you're
00:04:45.940 a little bit drunk in the common room in the dorm and you say things like well we don't know for
00:04:49.780 sure no one's impressed anymore hardly anyone was impressed back when you were 19 they're
00:04:54.420 really not impressed now stop being into nick it's embarrassing to you
00:04:58.020 iran won't uphold the deal so here is the only question that really matters
00:05:04.740 the only question that really matters is what will president trump do when iran breaks the deal
00:05:11.840 now we know that iran has already done things to break the ceasefire here and there that we had
00:05:18.780 the existing ceasefire but they weren't all out attacks and and we were really still in a this
00:05:27.220 was a temporary ceasefire anyway so i'm not 100 sure that our response to this more solid deal
00:05:35.820 being broken will be the same as when the ceasefire when we had some small incursions
00:05:40.400 and and breaking of the ceasefire but again the question is what will president trump do
00:05:47.600 when iran inevitably breaks this deal and by the way they'll do it quickly they won't wait long
00:05:53.360 and excuse me for again using past performance as my real gauge to make this decision and i mean
00:06:05.980 all the past performance just not the last not just the last couple of months or just couple
00:06:09.800 of weeks but the entire four now five years and change of this man's presidencies
00:06:15.360 he's had a total presidency now of five and a half years
00:06:20.600 give or take four days no next yes okay and in that five and a half years of his presidency
00:06:29.200 there is no president in our history that i trust more
00:06:34.200 to protect what's right and to do what's right in the face of the inevitable iranian breaking
00:06:41.220 of the steel than donald trump do i 100 feel that he's absolutely going to do it no
00:06:47.120 But compared to any other president in history, I trust him more to come down hard on the Iranians, even than someone like President Reagan, who famously, in one of the few mistakes of his presidency, cut and run after Hezbollah blew up that marine barracks and the embassy in Beirut in 1983. 0.60
00:07:09.880 He cut and ran. He did. 0.97
00:07:11.060 don't know if it was the worst decision in the world but it wasn't a good one
00:07:15.560 because it wasn't followed up with other strong things that he could have done
00:07:19.940 he would be someone i though i would also trust to do something about it but trump i trust more
00:07:26.140 does that mean again do i 100 think so no i do think that he's become weary of this whole
00:07:35.380 situation but I don't think he has lost his resolve as a person that's just not in his DNA
00:07:41.740 you don't understand President Trump if you think that he's gotten tired of fighting about something
00:07:46.160 he's never he's not like that you know there was a word that came into my mind when President
00:07:52.940 Trump first ran for president especially during the debates with Hillary Clinton that I hadn't
00:07:58.880 thought about in a long time and that is the word pugnacious which means he just never stopped
00:08:03.360 fighting that's where the word pugging comes from you they used to call the 1920s they called boxes
00:08:08.100 a pug he's a pug he's a fighter pugnacious the idea that he's gotten tired of something and he's
00:08:15.200 just going to quit on something it's just that's not in his nature i just don't think so am i the
00:08:20.640 psychic psychiatrist of donald trump no i'm not i don't know for sure and i'm not i'm not diagnosing
00:08:26.720 him because i'm not qualified i'm not a psychiatrist and even if i were he's not my patient
00:08:30.880 but i'm looking at his overall record
00:08:36.100 and even though i'm not so sure he will come down hard on the iranians when they break the deal
00:08:42.960 there's no other president in the history of of my lifetime that comes close to me thinking that
00:08:49.160 that the real the hammer would come down harder remember this is a guy nobody forced him to do
00:08:55.060 operation midnight hammer iran absolutely has been at war with us for 50 years but this president
00:09:01.860 didn't have to do the all-out attack on iran that he did it back when it started in february
00:09:06.880 he's already gone further to protect what's right in the middle east than any other president has
00:09:13.420 he's already risked more than any other president and to completely doubt him now it's one thing to
00:09:20.920 have a few doubts have 25 doubt overall have 30 that's fine because that's just the way of things
00:09:27.820 but to doubt him completely now and to come out and say oh he's going to absolutely do nothing i
00:09:32.200 know for sure it is just not fair no one has gone the distance more than this guy on that particular
00:09:39.020 topic and so i'm willing to wait this out but while i wait it out i'm still going to criticize
00:09:45.540 this deal i don't like it but again it doesn't matter what's in the deal because they're going
00:09:48.840 to break it. So what I'm criticizing isn't necessarily the parameters of the deal or the
00:09:53.980 stipulations of the deal. What I'm criticizing is the idea that we're going to have a deal at all
00:09:59.020 and to believe that it's actually going to be implemented and Iran will hold it up. 0.86
00:10:04.620 That's what I'm saying. And I think that's what, from what we understand, John Ratcliffe, 0.52
00:10:08.580 the CIA director and Marco Rubio, the secretary of state have been saying as well. So count me in
00:10:13.240 on their camp but also count me in on someone who believes in Donald Trump on this particular issue
00:10:19.840 more than I don't believe in him because I'm trying to be fair here to someone who's already
00:10:27.200 gone out of his way for what's right in the Middle East and it's not just Israel although
00:10:33.020 you know I mean the funny thing about Israel is like you don't want to love Israel fine but
00:10:38.860 I mean, how can you possibly take the word of any of its enemies even for a second? 0.96
00:10:43.140 It's just silly. 0.99
00:10:44.920 It's just silly. 0.95
00:10:47.360 There are some things that are really black and white in life. 0.94
00:10:51.800 And if you can't see what's right and wrong in the Middle East vis-a-vis Israel, 0.69
00:10:57.200 then you really have another, there's probably another problem going on with you.
00:11:01.640 Again, I'm not your psychiatrist, so I'm not going to say exactly what your problem is
00:11:04.700 because I don't know, but you have a problem.
00:11:08.300 So if it seems like President Trump is so favorable to Israel and is coming down favorably with them so much and suddenly he's being a little critical, you know, I feel sorry for you. 0.59
00:11:18.200 You can't see that Israel is a force for good in the Middle East and the world.
00:11:22.400 You can't see that? 0.93
00:11:23.640 Jeez, I really feel sorry for you.
00:11:26.280 I hope you're not a parent because I don't think you are qualified to be a parent or someone who can really judge people.
00:11:32.620 You're not a judge in a court of law either, because I don't think you have the capabilities
00:11:37.740 to see right versus wrong.
00:11:39.320 I really don't.
00:11:41.420 It doesn't mean they're saints.
00:11:42.960 It doesn't mean they're always right.
00:11:44.400 But I mean, geez, look at their neighborhood.
00:11:46.920 They're crying out loud.
00:11:49.020 Get a grip.
00:11:50.900 And I think President Trump has a grip, which is why it seems like he's so favorable to 0.63
00:11:55.320 Israel.
00:11:55.700 Oh, he moved the embassy.
00:11:57.000 He gave them the Golan Heights. 0.97
00:11:58.440 Yeah, because that's normal stuff.
00:12:01.760 Duh.
00:12:02.620 Israel's capital has been Jerusalem for thousands of years. 0.54
00:12:06.080 Our embassy should be there.
00:12:08.100 It doesn't get much easier than that.
00:12:09.720 It's called low-hanging fruit.
00:12:12.320 Israel has been a decent, more than decent, 0.67
00:12:16.320 an incredible steward of the Golan Heights since it took control over them in 1967.
00:12:21.340 It's an incredibly fertile, abundant, beautiful part of the country.
00:12:25.960 It's like Colorado, but smaller and easier to get around and with less Democrats.
00:12:32.620 you want to give that back to syria i mean what's what's syria's uh track record
00:12:38.220 i mean you have to you you're scratching your head about this you can't make this decision
00:12:43.580 then please don't have children and please don't ever become a judge or even do traffic court please
00:12:48.180 this is simple stuff and president trump has come down on the right side so many times
00:12:55.960 on this that yeah i'm gonna give him some slack on this doesn't mean i'm gonna not i'm gonna say
00:13:00.440 I like this deal. I don't have to say that. But I'm going to tell you that I don't think it
00:13:04.900 matters what's in the deal. Let's see what President Trump does when Iran breaks the
00:13:09.600 deal, because that's going to happen. All right, when we come back, I'm Jake Novak filling in for 0.90
00:13:14.000 Roger Stone of the Stone Zone. I want to talk about the other top story of the day, which is
00:13:17.300 a huge terrorist plot that's been uncovered. And once again, so-called non-government organizations,
00:13:24.340 liberal organizations, just organizations are heavily connected to it. It's about time to call
00:13:30.240 these groups terrorist groups and i'll explain when we come back the stone zone entertaining

00:14:15.460 podcast network and i'm jake novak filling in for roger stone this evening we are expecting roger
00:14:21.380 to give us a call at the bottom of the hour so hopefully that will go through want to talk about
00:14:25.700 this other major story which is still developing right now uh as you know the f probably should
00:14:31.680 know the fbi uncovering a terror plot that was planned against that ufc event at the white house
00:14:42.200 sunday night and the affidavit was unsealed this afternoon in the early afternoon and we found out
00:14:49.780 a little bit more about the attack now we know that they plan to use drones and it sounds like
00:14:54.680 the main crux of the attack was they were hoping to use drones to attack and explode and cause
00:15:03.400 explosions in buildings surrounding the white house and create a mass panic event where people
00:15:08.880 would basically stampede each other and that can be pretty horrific for those of you who know those
00:15:13.940 kinds of incidents um i'm 55 years old so i grew up in my early adolescence very much aware of stuff
00:15:22.820 like that it was an incident in cincinnati in 1979 at a who concert where it was first come
00:15:30.780 first serve for the seats in other words there were no assigned seats and they just opened the
00:15:34.920 doors and people rushed to get to the front and several people died so trampling is no uh small
00:15:40.780 thing but here's the thing here's what we found out in this unsealed affidavit this morning
00:15:46.060 that at least the the attackers who have been arrested and indicted five of them so far
00:15:53.160 were hoping to attack members of congress and politicians who they felt were too pro-israel
00:16:01.780 and how did they find out the names of certain people from congress including one that they
00:16:06.320 targeted senator marsha blackburn because there's a website and there's an organization called track
00:16:12.400 APAC, where you can go and find out the names of politicians who have either been hosted in
00:16:19.720 fundraisers by APAC or have been given a donor money from them. So these organizations, once
00:16:27.080 again, just like the Southern Poverty Law Center has done for years, listing and demonizing certain
00:16:33.360 people and basically giving domestic terrorists or foreign terrorists all the target information 0.58
00:16:39.520 they need and you know this stuff is just so incredibly hypocritical and politics by definition
00:16:46.000 is hypocrisy so i'm not excited about the fact that i've discovered a hypocrisy big deal but i
00:16:51.720 just want to make sure that it's understood that for years and years and years democrats and the
00:17:00.900 left have made a huge deal about the gabby gifford shooting you remember that and how it turned out
00:17:06.440 in some obscure publication I don't even think it was online at the time it was just like a paper
00:17:10.740 publication some organization looking to flip Democrat seats and get them to go Republican
00:17:17.420 put crosshairs on the map of Gabby Gifford's district not on her but on the map of her 0.72
00:17:23.700 district and they said this was their fault turned out that the shooter had no idea what party she
00:17:28.340 was in or basically what planet he was on it was not a political attack it was just a crazed attack
00:17:33.440 But this is political, and terrorists are getting target lists from these NGO organizations.
00:17:41.040 We'll be right back.

00:17:54.240 The Stone Zone. Entertaining and informative.
00:17:58.380 On the Red Apple Podcast Network.
00:18:00.300 And I'm Jake Novak in the Stone Zone this evening.
00:18:03.880 And joining us right now is Roger Stone.
00:18:06.120 And, Roger, I don't know if you heard me in the top of the program,
00:18:09.760 but the point I made about the Iran deal is, you know,
00:18:13.220 the details of the deal, in my opinion, don't matter because Iran's going to break them.
00:18:16.680 And so the question is, is there a president you trust more than Donald Trump 0.80
00:18:22.060 to come down on the Iranians when they do that? 0.93
00:18:25.100 And my answer is no.
00:18:26.060 In my lifetime, there's never been a president I would trust more
00:18:28.840 to do the right thing when i expect the iranians to do the wrong thing what's your take
00:18:33.280 i agree with that jake first of all we congratulate you for being on
00:18:37.540 the hottest political radio show in the country today the stone zone and i wish i could be with
00:18:43.680 you but with the president off for the g7 summit with the rest of those uh globalist leaders
00:18:50.340 a number of the president's political advisors are huddled here beginning the preliminary planning
00:18:56.820 for this november's election now there's a lot of panikins out there a lot of people ready to
00:19:01.780 throw in the towel i think they're missing a great deal but one of the most important things
00:19:06.020 they're missing is the fact that trump has again in my view proved that peace through strength
00:19:12.100 as a foreign policy is what works not endless foreign war controlled by the neocons in washington
00:19:19.680 so the president announced at the actual summit today jake that straight or hormones is already
00:19:25.860 partially reopened. Vines are being cleared. The commercial shipping waterways are moving again.
00:19:32.100 It's interesting because immediately, exactly as John Katsimatidis predicted on these airwaves,
00:19:38.340 oil prices fell almost immediately, while as he also predicted, the stock market has surged.
00:19:44.380 Precisely what he said would happen when this conflict came to an end. Once again,
00:19:49.320 I think it's clear evidence that investors see stabilities, they see lower risk again,
00:19:54.080 And they're more confident under the leadership of Donald Trump. 0.94
00:19:58.080 I also think that Vice President Vance really doesn't get the credit here that he deserves because he's actually the guy who went, and it's a very difficult thing, hammered out a deal with the mullahs. 0.94
00:20:09.700 Now, will they keep the deal? 0.96
00:20:11.840 They have a history of lines, no question about that.
00:20:15.020 But there will be hell to pay if that is the case.
00:20:18.540 I mean, both in Midnight Hammer and in Epic Fury, the president demonstrated that he's not afraid to use a stick as well as the carrot.
00:20:28.140 And the pressures here regarding the midterm elections, I think, do come into play.
00:20:34.200 If the Democrats take the House, we'll have more endless, baseless, phony investigations, more lawfare, more oppression of, you know,
00:20:43.480 like common citizens who go to a school board meeting to question the curriculum
00:20:47.940 things shown to their teachers or people who are pro-life having the audacity and the outrage to
00:20:53.800 pray outside an abortion critic those are the people they'll be investigating uh so we can't
00:20:59.200 have a return to that i understand why the president is doing what he's doing yeah you know
00:21:03.640 um it's a good segue to a story that we just got in the last 24 hours about how the merrick garland
00:21:11.220 doj over the objections of the fbi as bad as the fbi's leadership was under biden even that even
00:21:20.000 they were upset about the merrick garland doj investigating people going to school board
00:21:25.680 meetings uh they just they said this would be too much of a blowback the national sheriff's
00:21:30.160 organization also pushed back i mean you know we're talking about track records here uh roger
00:21:36.240 and you have president trump's track record you mentioned midnight hammer epic fury all the other
00:21:41.440 things he's done to be on the right side of the ledger in the middle east and now everyone is
00:21:46.500 going to say uh we don't trust him i mean how many i mean you're not going to give this guy
00:21:49.920 any latitude any slack i i i'm sorry i'm inclined to give him that and uh the alternative is what
00:21:56.520 the people who are going to investigate mom and pop for not wanting boys in the girls locker room
00:22:00.520 and saying so at the at the board meeting i mean really this is if you can't tell the difference
00:22:04.680 between right and wrong here i hope that you don't have kids are you i hope you're not driving and i
00:22:08.580 hope you're not allowed near sharp objects yeah no the same people who gave barack obama a blank
00:22:14.980 check when it came to giveaways to terrorists now they're hyper criticizing donald trump so
00:22:20.320 trump really can't win in other words when he took decisive action because the intelligence told him
00:22:26.280 that they were much closer to having a nuclear weapon than perhaps we had thought they criticized
00:22:30.780 him for doing that. Now when he moves to end the conflict, now they criticize him for ending the
00:22:35.900 conflict. So if Trump says up, they say down. If Trump says red, they say blue. If Trump says black,
00:22:41.980 they say white. In other words, these people have what is known as Trump derangement syndrome. It's 0.96
00:22:47.640 actually a mental illness in which you take the opposite of whatever position Donald Trump takes. 0.62
00:22:54.300 So, for example, Donald Trump is the first president in modern history to give us criminal justice reform. 0.90
00:23:02.320 I mean, I was for the war on drugs when Richard Nixon launched it.
00:23:07.880 But it was aimed at drug traffickers, drug kingpins, you know, the people who were who were and hard drugs, drug criminals.
00:23:14.920 Heroin. Yeah. Not, you know, not not vaping.
00:23:17.420 But more importantly, the entire war on drugs is not focused on the end user.
00:23:24.540 So now you had a situation after the 1994 crime bill.
00:23:28.520 Let's say you have a working mother of three. 0.95
00:23:31.700 She's a single mom. 1.00
00:23:33.320 She gets caught with a small amount of marijuana in her purse for her personal use. 1.00
00:23:37.920 Now, I would still urge her to go to drug counseling, but I wouldn't give her 15 years hard time under mandatory penalties
00:23:44.760 that were written by Joe Biden and signed into law by Barack Obama, pardon me, by Bill Clinton.
00:23:51.680 But if you go and look at it, when Trump puts forward all of these reforms in criminal justice
00:23:56.480 to bring greater equality to the system and more fairness to the system,
00:24:00.900 all the members of the black congressional caucus, they all vote no.
00:24:06.300 They're opposed. Why? They're opposed simply because Donald Trump is for it. That's why.
00:24:11.540 um i i think and and i i wonder if you agree i think that that's indicative of where we are
00:24:19.220 as a country and how much more bitterly divided we are because when richard nixon implemented a
00:24:25.400 lot of the policies that the left wanted whether it was ending the vietnam war ending the draft
00:24:30.120 the installing the epa these drug policies that you talked about i don't think he got all these
00:24:36.220 people to say i now personally love richard nixon but he absolutely deflated the hatred
00:24:40.460 He took the air out of their tires, which is a big reason why the 72 presidential election was such a route, because they just didn't you know, he took away a lot of their talking points.
00:24:51.880 Now it's different now. I don't think that they even care about the talking points, let alone say they like Donald Trump.
00:24:58.820 I mean, we saw this yesterday, but just days before the Obama Presidential Center scheduled to open, contractors and subcontractors say that they're still waiting to be full. 0.95
00:25:09.480 These are African-American contractors, so raising fresh questions about the project already plagued by soaring costs and broken promises, several of these minority-owned firms claim losses ranging from hundreds to thousands to millions of dollars after building this monstrous eye store designed specifically to be offensive to the senses. 0.91
00:25:30.640 I mean, this is this is really beyond belief. Adamson Publican president. I saw this guy today. Mike Owen says his company is owed four million dollars, while the African-American contractors association say that multiple black owned businesses are actually facing financial collapse because they worked on the Obama presidential center. 0.99
00:25:54.280 Go figure.
00:25:55.300 I mean, the price tag of this thing, first of all, went from $330 million to $850 million with the final cost undisclosed.
00:26:04.000 And the taxpayer subsidies thought to be more than $40 million, but they won't really tell you about that.
00:26:11.520 And the idea that they would stiff all of these smaller vendors is just outrageous hypocrisy in my view.
00:26:21.200 i mean i just saw out of the corner of my eye that that ms now is going to do a big big show
00:26:28.880 on thursday to uh for the ceremonies opening this i mean first of all i'm glad because that'll be up
00:26:35.100 against the knicks parade here in and i don't think anyone's going to watch that i think they're
00:26:38.900 all going to want to watch the knicks instead of some live you know this eyesore library being
00:26:42.780 opened but i mean the the attempt to continue to pursue iconography you know a hagiography you
00:26:49.500 a sainthood of Barack Obama after all of this.
00:26:53.400 I mean, I think it's amazing.
00:26:55.080 People just don't know when to stop.
00:26:57.500 He's not as popular in the rank and file in the Democrat Party anymore, is he?
00:27:01.760 No, he really isn't.
00:27:02.880 This week at the Obama Presidential Center, they're going to celebrate their long-awaited
00:27:07.260 grand opening.
00:27:08.480 There'll be speeches, celebrity appearances, glowing media coverage, carefully choreographed
00:27:14.420 tributes to hope and change.
00:27:16.280 But, Jake, the official dedication, which I think is scheduled for the 18th, with public access beginning on Juneteenth, of course, behind this polished granite, behind the soaring architecture and the endless self-congratulations, lies a much uglier story. 0.89
00:27:32.920 Multiple black-owned subcontractors that helped build the Obama Center are reportedly, as I say, owed millions of dollars and now are fighting to remain alive. 0.62
00:27:43.180 The very entrepreneurs, the project promises to uplift through diversity, equality and inclusion.
00:27:50.440 Well, they're going broke because they can't get paid by Barack Obama's presidential foundation.
00:27:55.840 It really is the greatest scam I've ever seen.
00:27:58.600 You know, and even if the money had been paid, you know, there was a lot of stiffen going on in this whole process.
00:28:04.080 First, he stiffed Columbia University, which wanted to house it.
00:28:07.480 Then he stiffed the University of Chicago and kind of double stiffed them because he put it in the general neighborhood near the university.
00:28:12.840 but didn't give it to to them so they don't get any benefit and they'll just suffer with the worst park, you know, with with weaker parking situations and things like that.
00:28:20.840 I mean, this whole thing has been an assault on people who otherwise would have been very loyal to.
00:28:26.400 I mean, this is a real we get upset in America when politicians give their friends favors.
00:28:32.380 But you got to think of what kind of person stiffs his loyalists this way and forget about giving them a perk.
00:28:38.680 He won't pay them what they're owed. I mean, this is really I can't ever.
00:28:42.840 remember hearing that i've heard of campaigns that end up in the red i'm sure you know a lot
00:28:46.460 about that more than i do but i've never heard of such a thing where somebody with the presidential
00:28:50.860 library ends up stiffing contractors like this usually it's a gravy train it's crazy
00:28:55.420 no and they sold it to the american public as being more than a museum that was marketed to us
00:29:01.260 as an economic engine for chicago's troubled south side it was going to be a model for empowering
00:29:08.080 minority-owned businesses. But the truth is, despite the fact that they touted all these
00:29:13.560 ambitious goals about local hiring and minority participation, constantly portraying the project
00:29:20.420 as a blueprint for equitable development, but instead, we now learn that multiple sub-tractors
00:29:26.760 are still just waiting to be paid. Some are owed seven-figure sums. Others have reportedly
00:29:32.520 indicated they would accept pennies on the dollar to simply stay afloat and they're getting stiffed
00:29:39.160 omar sharif not the actor but the president of the african-american contractors association
00:29:44.580 confirmed today that multiple black-owned subcontractors have sought the organization's
00:29:50.380 assistance as they struggle just to recover the money that they've owed you know this jake
00:29:56.280 this is not all profit they have costs yes their profit comes after their enormous costs for
00:30:03.760 material and labor and now they're being stiffed by the greatest kind man of them all Barack
00:30:09.060 Hussein Obama you know this reminds me of Roger reminds me of when Obama was president
00:30:13.540 and I believe it was Congressman Emanuel Cleaver who made the point of saying you know under this
00:30:19.480 president black people are doing really worse than we've done in a long time and if this were
00:30:24.700 white president we would be marching on the white house every single day and this is reminding me 0.99
00:30:29.740 of this with this stiffing of the black contractors this guy has been a net negative for black people 0.78
00:30:35.560 in this country it's just incredible it really is i really did not think that we had racial
00:30:41.340 problems in the country when i was growing up i thought with the passage of major civil rights
00:30:46.240 act particularly the desegregation of public schools under president richard nixon affirmative
00:30:51.340 action, another Nixon administration
00:30:53.260 policy to give those who had
00:30:55.300 been disadvantaged
00:30:57.080 a leg up
00:30:58.180 substantially more for law
00:31:01.260 enforcement, quadrupling
00:31:02.800 the budget for black
00:31:05.320 colleges, for example. I really
00:31:07.320 thought we were moving towards a period of
00:31:09.180 true racial peace. I would argue
00:31:11.460 that Obama stirred up
00:31:13.100 racial animosity as a
00:31:15.300 political tool.
00:31:17.340 And now, what was supposed to be
00:31:19.300 a symbol of empowerment, it's very 0.96
00:31:21.260 rapidly becoming a symbol of exploitation of his fellow african americans it really is
00:31:27.200 it's disgusting uh but it's all there you can go see the lawsuit by the way the two-in-one
00:31:32.480 contract company one of the major contractors has already filed a federal lawsuit alleging
00:31:38.380 discriminatory treatment and business practices against them which they say almost destroyed the
00:31:44.280 company as they struggle simply to get paid incredible uh roger stone would you be kind
00:31:50.920 to join us just for the last segment i have some questions for you about those midterms that you
00:31:54.480 alluded to right at the top of your call with us uh if you're willing to stay with us i'd love for
00:31:59.060 you to just get through this uh commercial break and come right back you got roger stone on the
00:32:04.220 phone in the stone zone i'll be right here you're a poet and you didn't even know it we'll be right
00:32:08.540 back the stone zone entertaining and informative on the red apple podcast network
00:32:15.640 the stone zone entertaining and informative on the red apple podcast network
00:32:23.100 breaking news and i'm jake novak in for roger stone we're going to get to roger stone on the
00:32:29.280 phone right in just a moment but uh first thing i'm going to ask him about is this breaking news
00:32:32.920 congressman mike collins is going to beat former football college football coach derek
00:32:38.920 Dooley in that Senate Republican runoff in Georgia. And Roger, of course, Collins was
00:32:45.200 endorsed by President Trump. Dooley was endorsed by outgoing the term limited Brian Kemp. And
00:32:52.240 people forget this is a very flippable seat for the Republicans in the Senate. John Ossoff
00:32:57.040 narrowly won that as a Democrat. And Collins seems to be the stronger candidate for sure.
00:33:03.300 I totally agree with that analysis. The question, of course, is because it's Georgia, is, well, will we get an honest count?
00:33:11.680 Now, before you just call me an election denier, let me point out that officials from the Fulton County Board of Elections testified under oath to the state Senate that there were 38,000 votes counted in the 2020 presidential election that had no signatures and no matching serial numbers on them.
00:33:31.560 So this isn't a fantasy or a conspiracy. You have overwhelming evidence right there in a state that Joe Biden theoretically only won by 8000 that the state has been plagued by chronic voter fraud.
00:33:45.700 And it's amazing to watch Kristen Welker of NBC actually say with a straight face, there's no evidence whatsoever of voter irregularity in the 2020 election.
00:33:56.520 Any person who has two eyes and a brain can see that there's overwhelming evidence of irregularities.
00:34:04.520 Now, you didn't have that in 2024, or maybe you did.
00:34:08.840 Jake, tell me, how did Trump, for example, win Arizona, but the U.S. Senate candidate loses?
00:34:14.560 win wisconsin but the u.s senate candidate loses if you go back and look at those two races that's
00:34:20.300 actually mathematically impossible so the real question if you're mike collins running in georgia
00:34:26.720 is are you going to get an honest count we have to this is why they're right we have to pass the
00:34:33.240 save act the save act i saw i heard today on the radio being described as by chuck schumer of all
00:34:39.640 people as controversial why would it be controversial to require that voters be a united
00:34:45.880 states citizen and that they have a photo id that does not seem controversial or unreasonable to me
00:34:52.700 what say you and and 80 of the american people agree with you it's it's so the the things that
00:34:58.960 it would be so much better if they would stop with the whole two plus two equals five act you
00:35:02.900 know kristen welker you know it would be better if she said well there's only some problems but
00:35:08.620 But to say no evidence and they keep it makes it worse.
00:35:11.820 But, you know, the question I have is without significant mail in ballots, can the Democrats win in Georgia?
00:35:19.680 And I'm not I don't think so.
00:35:20.840 So, I mean, cutting down on the sheer number of mail in ballots, which you're able to do without a covid lockdown excuse like they had in 2020, seems to bode well for Mike Collins, in my opinion.
00:35:32.920 Yeah, I agree. I agree with your analysis.
00:35:35.100 Other big news tonight, of course, is in the Oklahoma gubernatorial primary where the sitting attorney general, whose name is Drummond, this guy got caught donating to not only to Joe Biden, but he also gave money to the viciously anti-Trump Lincoln project.
00:35:55.260 Now suddenly he decides that he's a Trump Republican.
00:35:59.420 Looks like he's going to come in second in that contest.
00:36:02.820 Now we'll go to a runoff between he and Mike Mazie, who is a state senator, former state senator, started the race at 2%,
00:36:10.400 overcame four other candidates to come in either first or second.
00:36:15.720 They're still counting.
00:36:16.880 But that state definitely running for a runoff.
00:36:21.160 What's the significance?
00:36:22.240 Very simple.
00:36:23.260 Maisie was endorsed by Donald Trump.
00:36:26.360 Trump is the king of this party.
00:36:28.080 That hasn't changed.
00:36:29.500 This is no longer the party of Wall Street or the wealthy or the country club or the Bushes.
00:36:34.460 This is the working class family traditions party of Donald J. Trump.
00:36:42.620 And he's still dominant in the party, as you said.
00:36:45.220 His candidate, he supported one in Georgia over the candidate endorsed by the governor there.
00:36:49.960 You know, it's just one of those things.
00:36:52.600 It's incredible how much the great pumpkin, if you know your Charlie Brown animated cartoons, this great pumpkin that the Democrats and the left keep believing in, that there's some kind of great revolt against Donald Trump coming any day now.
00:37:07.860 So don't go trick or treating because this is going to come in the Republican Party and it never comes.
00:37:12.560 So make sure you get your candy because there is no great revolt against Donald Trump ever coming in this party.
00:37:18.100 Get over it.
00:37:18.980 Roger Stone, thank you so much for joining me and thank you so much for letting me sit in for you.
00:37:22.600 on The Stone Zone.
