The StoneZONE with Roger Stone - The Stone Zone ｜ 06-17-26

00:00:00.400 The Stone Zone, entertaining and informative on the Red Apple Podcast Network.

00:00:07.460 A singular focus on the Iran deal, what's in it, what isn't in it.

00:00:13.260 And I haven't changed my position from last night, and I don't think anyone listening should either.

00:00:18.660 Folks, paper and agreements and what's, it don't matter. 0.59

00:00:23.620 It matters what President Trump does and what Iran does going forward.

00:00:28.880 and I am singularly convinced

00:00:31.980 that Iran will not hold up to this deal

00:00:35.100 no matter how favorable it is

00:00:36.420 making a big deal about how favorable this is to Iran

00:00:38.820 is a waste of time

00:00:39.900 it just is

00:00:41.720 because they're not going to uphold the deal

00:00:43.080 no matter how favorable it is to them

00:00:44.660 this we know from countless long experience

00:00:49.060 and so the question is

00:00:51.780 what President Trump will do

00:00:53.100 when they break it

00:00:54.340 and as I said last evening

00:00:56.320 and I continue to believe now

00:00:58.000 we can be less than 100% sure that President Trump will do something definitive about it

00:01:03.860 when Iran breaks the deal, but there is no other president in American history

00:01:09.280 who I have more confidence in actually doing something definitive than Donald Trump.

00:01:13.920 Not because I think, I don't know him personally, so I can't say whether he's a great guy or not.

00:01:17.680 This is not me sainting Donald Trump or anything else like that.

00:01:22.520 It's just from, again, similar experience.

00:01:24.420 And by the way, do yourselves a favor, everyone listening, and don't decide that everything has to either be the denigration of or the sainthood of, the sanctification of people, whether it's politics, sports, celebrities.

00:01:42.240 Keep yourself on an even keel, and then you'll really be a happier person.

00:01:47.220 Keep your love or real hatred for people that you really know and truly know personally.

00:01:52.120 and hopefully your love will outstrip your hatred.

00:01:56.880 Someone giving you bad vibes, move away from them

00:02:00.060 in all ways, shapes, and forms.

00:02:03.500 That's really important to do.

00:02:05.640 So I don't want to spend too much more time on this

00:02:07.900 because I really think there's just been a lot of over-hand-wringing about this.

00:02:12.340 It's not that this isn't an important story.

00:02:14.300 I'm not saying you shouldn't cover it.

00:02:16.160 And absolutely, as journalists, now that we have the points,

00:02:19.460 It's the White House coming out with them for all of us to look at.

00:02:23.480 Sure, look at them, digest them, learn from them.

00:02:26.620 All that is certainly worth our time as regular journalists.

00:02:31.160 But for an analysis program like this one, I continue to try to boil it down to the real, bare, important facts, which is which are that Iran will not uphold this deal.

00:02:42.480 This, I believe, 100 percent.

00:02:44.660 And I do believe that President Trump will do something about it.

00:02:47.500 Gun to my head, I think he will do something about it when they break it, significantly.

00:02:52.480 Not a little violation here or there, but a significant breaking of the deal, which I

00:02:56.160 believe they'll do.

00:02:57.440 And that's really important for everyone to understand.

00:03:00.680 Go to sleep with this one.

00:03:02.040 Everything else is just conjecture, fighting back and forth, doomsdayism.

00:03:08.320 You know, there's a lot of doomsdayism about this, and I'm not criticizing those who are

00:03:11.740 criticizing the deal.

00:03:12.660 Don't get me wrong.

00:03:13.280 You can do that.

00:03:13.860 But the whole doomsday scenario thing over this is going too far because nothing has happened yet.

00:03:20.440 As far as Iran getting money, as far as Iran getting off the hook, this regime with a lot of moving parts within the regime, although I don't feel there's going to be any real difference of ideology in the new leaders of the regime.

00:03:35.820 But nothing has really happened yet.

00:03:38.400 Pieces of paper are pieces of paper.

00:03:40.660 It's like having paper gains in the stock market.

00:03:45.100 It's not real until you use that to buy something else

00:03:48.460 or you have something more tangible.

00:03:51.800 So anyway, this is a strong belief that I have

00:03:55.100 and I think people need to understand this

00:03:57.040 and move on for now.

00:04:01.060 Keep paying attention.

00:04:02.700 I'm not saying move on, don't pay any attention to it.

00:04:05.000 I just mean leave the hand-wringing doesn't,

00:04:08.320 hand-wringing is like guilt.

00:04:09.420 It's a useless emotion. It doesn't do anything. It doesn't necessarily lead to anything.

00:04:14.940 If guilt becomes something that gets you to do something about something you're feeling guilty about, that's different.

00:04:19.680 But it's a useless emotion and it's useless to worry, worry, worry without doing anything about it. 0.53

00:04:25.420 So I think it's important just to keep speaking up and saying what I'm saying, which is we know Iran's going to break this deal. 0.65

00:04:30.880 So we're not telling you not to sign it. Go ahead and go through the motions. 0.81

00:04:35.560 But we expect you to do something about it when they break it.

00:04:38.840 And President Trump has not been holding back.

00:04:41.240 Today, he said, you know, the bombs are going to start falling again if they break it, if I don't like this deal.

00:04:46.880 So that's good enough for me for now, because let's say the deal had a bunch of things, everything I liked in it.

00:04:53.400 Well, fantastic. Iran's got a the regime needs to give up. 0.91

00:04:57.200 They need to have democratic elections. They need to stop funding.

00:05:00.160 I mean, I can have every I can have my land. I can have my Christmas or Hanukkah list of everything I want in it.

00:05:05.380 It's not going to be upheld anyway. So what's the point? Would that make me happier?

00:05:08.840 not really because i know whom we're dealing with

00:05:12.920 so again but don't take this as me criticizing those who are criticizing the deal that's fine

00:05:19.980 to do it's just i i am upset if all you're going to do is hand wringing you can criticize every

00:05:27.340 aspect of the deal but please come to the conclusion that i'm coming to because i feel

00:05:30.880 very strongly about it and that is it just matters what president trump's going to do when they break

00:05:35.140 and let's give president trump all the support we can to tell him that mr president when and if

00:05:42.440 and we believe it will be if that's it will be when not an if iran breaks this deal we will

00:05:48.800 support your actions to punish them severely and don't worry about that and we will rally the rest

00:05:54.040 of the american people whom are still rallyable not the people who just hate everything you do

00:05:58.560 and if you say two plus two is four they'll say it's five we we all agree we can't fix those people

00:06:02.920 and let's just make let the president know that he has our support when he has to when he's going

00:06:08.860 to have to crack down on them and that's it not because we're trump fans or we're just republicans

00:06:14.120 but just because we're we're fans of america and decency and doing the right thing

00:06:17.140 you know i remember during the first iran deal the obama iran deal and it turned out my congresswoman

00:06:25.700 in my district on long island who was a democrat was opposed to it she was one of the few democrats

00:06:31.880 who spoke out against it and she was pushing that and by her name was kathleen rice and by the way

00:06:38.100 her opposition to obama and that iran deal is a big reason why she's not in congress anymore

00:06:42.060 she didn't lose an election she just kind of dropped out and i think it had a lot to do with

00:06:45.180 the fact that nancy pelosi and the democrat power base at the time meant to punish her she had also 0.75

00:06:51.360 tried to work a replacement into it for nancy pelosi so she she was she was on the naughty list 0.99

00:06:58.120 for the democrats but anyway she came to campaign in my neighborhood and i remember uh she came to

00:07:05.640 a forum and uh i got a chance to talk to her in front of an audience and i just said like hey

00:07:11.340 and this was just in the beginning of this whole process i said listen i see that you're going to

00:07:16.300 oppose the obama nuclear deal with iran good for you especially as a democrat i just want you to

00:07:22.280 know that even though i'm not a democrat and i didn't vote for you you have my support for this

00:07:28.520 if anyone ever asks me and i'll go i'll go an extra mile and i'm doing it all these years later

00:07:34.280 11 years later i want to say good good on you for making this decision and that's what i really ask

00:07:40.900 everyone to do no matter what political party you're in and i know that in these days it seems

00:07:46.080 like a lot to ask of the american people for me to go to 100 random american people and say i don't

00:07:50.360 I don't know how you voted, what party you're a member of, but all I ask of you is that when

00:07:55.380 an elected leader pursues a policy that you like and you support, will you speak out for it and

00:08:01.180 forget about who the person is and just look at policies and try to find a place in your heart

00:08:06.600 to understand that actions speak louder than words, especially in politics, even though the 0.98

00:08:11.440 media and everyone else treats it the other way around, which is sick and pathetic. And one of 0.99

00:08:17.400 reasons why our political culture is so ill right now, we absolutely reward people for things they

00:08:23.740 say over the things they do in American politics and in celebrityhood. It drives me nuts, by the

00:08:30.820 way. It's the easiest thing in the world to say the right things to certain people. It's what you

00:08:37.040 do that's more important. And that's true in your private lives and your professional lives,

00:08:41.040 political lives and non-political lives. This isn't hard to understand. I don't think anyone

00:08:44.480 out there can possibly disagree with what I just said.

00:08:50.200 So all I ask you is, whether it's Donald Trump, maybe you hate him.

00:08:53.880 Whether it's some far-left Democrat, maybe you hate them.

00:08:57.700 When they do enact a policy or push for a policy that you are in favor of,

00:09:02.700 show some moral courage and say, we support them.

00:09:05.020 You can say, I don't usually support this guy or this gal, but I like this policy.

00:09:10.540 I can think of one thing or two about Obama I can say that about.

00:09:14.060 when he authorized the surge in Afghanistan

00:09:16.340 early in his presidency.

00:09:18.260 I publicly said that was a great idea.

00:09:20.600 Good for you.

00:09:22.220 Didn't vote for him either time.

00:09:24.240 I think he was a lousy president.

00:09:26.160 I don't think he's the greatest guy either,

00:09:27.660 although I don't know him personally,

00:09:28.880 so I'm not going to go on record

00:09:31.180 as far as that's concerned.

00:09:32.180 Who knows?

00:09:33.720 But I like the surge in Afghanistan.

00:09:37.500 Bill de Blasio, the mayor of New York City,

00:09:40.580 didn't really like any of his policies, 0.96

00:09:42.160 But I actually think that the Vision Zero policy of slowing the damn cars in a city where there are more pedestrians than any other city in America was a good policy.

00:09:52.580 I don't think that he got everything right with bike lanes and everything else, but I like that policy. 0.96

00:09:58.260 I don't like just about anything else he did.

00:10:03.840 And, you know, it's important to do that.

00:10:06.320 It's important for your own personal integrity to do stuff like that.

00:10:12.160 At the same time, not everything is hunky-dory positive.

00:10:16.120 I'm not a Pollyanna.

00:10:17.440 I'm not here to say cheerlead people if you don't think they deserve cheerleading.

00:10:22.100 But we're not going to get better as a country until we start judging people by their actions and start looking at politicians based on their policies.

00:10:31.160 I don't know Donald Trump personally.

00:10:33.560 I don't think I ever will because I'm relatively nobody, right?

00:10:38.240 So really, he doesn't need to know me, and that's the end of it.

00:10:43.380 So why did I vote for him three times?

00:10:46.160 Why do I support him?

00:10:47.160 Because I would say 90% to 95% of his policies I support.

00:10:52.880 Some of those, by the way, some of that percentage includes policies that before he supported them, I hadn't really given much thought to.

00:11:02.820 But now I support them.

00:11:04.020 not because of him, but because I looked into it

00:11:06.900 and I thought, you know, yeah, this makes sense

00:11:08.580 that's why I support him

00:11:11.420 it's as simple as that

00:11:12.360 I don't need to go to rallies or get a Trump tattoo

00:11:15.380 or do any of those kinds of things

00:11:16.880 for the people who want to do that, that's great

00:11:18.820 but to me, it's as simple as this

00:11:23.420 I support his policies

00:11:25.920 the overwhelming majority of them

00:11:28.340 and the people I don't vote for

00:11:30.380 I don't support their policies

00:11:31.940 usually the overwhelming majority of them

00:11:34.020 and on top of that we also have some insane policies that people are pursuing some insane

00:11:42.920 messaging that some people are messaging again from the democratic party and when we come back

00:11:48.220 here on the stone zone i'm filling in for him right now i'm jake novak filling in for rogerson

00:11:51.880 when we come back i want you to listen to some of those kinds of insane policies and reasonings

00:11:57.500 from someone running for congress right here in new york city just to give you an idea of how

00:12:03.400 twisted and strange this whole, this entire discourse has become. And unfortunately,

00:12:10.020 it isn't just talk, it does also lead to policy. Again, I'm Jake Novak in for Roger Stone in the

00:12:15.520 Stone Zone. Roger Stone will be joining us again at the bottom of the hour, but we'll be right back

00:12:20.300 with the strange reasoning of one Democrat candidate from Congress. Be right back.

00:14:04.360 filling in for roger stone again in the stone zone we are expecting to be joined by roger stone

00:14:08.280 himself at the bottom of the hour so that's just a few minutes from now so please stay tuned for

00:14:12.280 that uh one more thing about the iran deal and everything going on here uh let me just remind

00:14:18.180 you not to get too hung up about any money going to iran after this war is over if this is going to

00:14:25.820 really happen because i mean have you been paying attention to history for the last oh 80 90 years

00:14:33.660 even when the united states gets unconditional surrenders and the complete collapse of enemy

00:14:39.700 regimes like nazi germany and imperial japan we end up flooding them with money anyway

00:14:46.640 I mean, we rebuilt these countries, particularly Japan, which was not subject to the Marshall Plan where, you know, there was some other money that went into the to the European nations.

00:14:58.380 So, you know, when the United States, I mean, there used to be an old joke in Israel, by the way, when they had economic problems, when Golda Meir was prime minister, Israel was going through it.

00:15:09.600 They often had economic problems in their early years, much better, more solid economically the last 30 years or so.

00:15:16.000 But the joke was, Goldemir was going to attack the United States because every time the United States defeats a country in war, they end up building them up. 0.86

00:15:23.800 People were looking at Japan at the time and Germany. 0.79

00:15:25.980 I mean, at one point, Japan and Germany were the two most strongest economies in the world after the United States.

00:15:31.820 So we're in it financially, no matter what happens, folks.

00:15:36.420 You know, study your history and study the realities.

00:15:40.400 But you want to talk about stretching the truth, if that's what you want to talk about.

00:15:44.700 We have a couple of congressional campaigns, elections here in New York City.

00:15:49.960 On June 23rd, so a week from yesterday, we're going to have our primaries here in the New York area.

00:15:56.260 And two congressional primaries in the Manhattan area are going to be held.

00:16:00.460 One of them is, again, it's between the Democrats.

00:16:03.420 Republicans don't have a fighting chance in these particular primaries, in these particular elections.

00:16:07.840 One of them is going to be Brad Lander, an incredibly offensive policy-wise, again, don't know the man personally, far-left Democrat, viciously anti-Semitic, and yes, he's ethnically Jewish, but that doesn't matter. 0.55

00:16:24.060 Again, know your history, read your Bible, since the exodus from Egypt, there's been a small percentage, but a loud one, of Jews who would rather see the rest of their fellow Jews perish, and he's one of them, sorry.

00:16:35.740 He's going up against Dan Goldman, who's not much better. 0.72

00:16:38.700 Also a far leftist. 0.96

00:16:39.720 Both of them are Trump deranged. 1.00

00:16:41.480 Both of them are insane. 1.00

00:16:42.960 I wish both sides great victories as they battle each other. 0.97

00:16:45.920 I really don't care.

00:16:47.900 But there's another primary that I find more interesting, and that is this primary between Antonio Espillat, who is a longer-serving Democrat congressman, also Trump deranged and another one of these kinds of guys.

00:17:02.660 but a little bit more serious and a little bit more statesman-like than Brad Lander and Dan Goldman.

00:17:08.680 And he's being challenged by a Democrat socialist, a communist, really, Daria Elisa Avila Chevalier, 0.95

00:17:13.660 who's apparently her real claim to fame is the fact that she's an anti-Semite and hates Israel.

00:17:17.820 By the way, why this matters to people running for urban areas in elections, I don't know.

00:17:22.660 But here she is explaining why she thinks there's a connection between poor people in her proposed district and in Gaza.

00:17:32.460 I mean, listen to this twisted logic.

00:17:34.780 Yes.

00:17:35.120 So I was in Nablus for almost two months, and I visited many cities in the region, both in the West Bank and in Israel.

00:17:44.560 And what I found in my time there was a system of apartheid.

00:17:50.240 And I saw so many connections between what was happening to Palestinians there in Palestine and what was happening to so many communities across the U.S., particularly black and Latino communities,

00:18:00.960 who have been priced out and pushed out of our homes.

00:18:04.900 What?

00:18:06.040 Wait a minute. 1.00

00:18:06.540 I thought it was the evil Israelis who were ethically cleansing them.

00:18:10.260 Now she's blaming it on corporate interests? 1.00

00:18:13.000 You know, we can say up and down that people like her in AOC are morons, 1.00

00:18:16.520 but the truth is they think you're a moron, 1.00

00:18:19.700 and that's much more concerning. 1.00

00:18:21.280 I'll be right back.

00:18:21.700 the stone zone entertaining and informative on the red apple podcast network and i'm jake novak

00:18:36.220 filling in for roger stone but roger stone joins us on the phone and roger last night

00:18:40.740 we were talking and you talked about here on the air here on the stone zone and you talked about

00:18:46.100 how the panic ends are getting overboard here with their fears about the midterms being a

00:18:51.960 disaster and no sooner did we talk about it but then harry enton who is as close to a an honest

00:18:58.820 journalist as cnn is ever going to get had this to say i think pretty much at the same moment we

00:19:03.720 were talking listen to this roger i think the warning sign is this democrats have an edge

00:19:08.960 but compared to what we see historically it's really not that big of a lead i mean just take

00:19:14.460 a look here okay this is congress national june polls dem leads and this is nbc news midterm years

00:19:20.620 with the gop press look at this they're up by five points but that's half the lead they had

00:19:25.780 back in 2018 when it was 10 points and less than half the lead they had back in 2006 with 11 points

00:19:32.620 when democrats took back the house in both of those years and now the democrat lead is on a

00:19:37.440 single hand one two three four five so there you go roger uh this is a winnable midterm election

00:19:44.180 for the Republicans, isn't it?

00:19:46.060 No, there's no question, Jake.

00:19:47.320 First of all, let me thank you

00:19:48.220 for keeping my seat warm there at the Stone Zone.

00:19:51.040 I appreciate it as I've been in Washington, D.C.,

00:19:54.160 Disneyland on the Potomac,

00:19:55.860 taking care of some business.

00:19:57.480 But I think there's a number of things

00:19:59.300 people here don't understand.

00:20:00.400 First of all, Republicans have

00:20:01.900 an enormous financial advantage.

00:20:04.480 We have a war chest today

00:20:06.220 sitting around $6 billion.

00:20:07.820 By election day, it'll be closer to $8 billion

00:20:10.440 to spend on the midterm elections at all levels.

00:20:13.720 state, federal, and local. Democrats are in debt. They're still in debt from the Kamala Harris

00:20:20.080 fiasco. So that is an advantage. Redistricting, which originally, I must admit, I thought would

00:20:27.960 be a watch. Redistricting has turned out to be an advantage. The Supreme Court decision

00:20:33.740 that said you cannot use race as one of the factors in redistricting really dealt a significant

00:20:42.980 blow to the Democrats, particularly in the South. I think that's worth perhaps as many as 19 0.73

00:20:48.980 additional seats to become competitive in the South. So there are two advantages. And then

00:20:54.840 lastly, we have the fact that the Democrats, they have a lot of gripes. They have a lot of complaints.

00:21:00.220 They have Trump derangement syndrome. What they don't have is a platform. They have no plan to

00:21:06.680 create jobs. They have no plan to bring down food prices. They have no plan to expand the availability

00:21:12.000 affordable housing. They literally have no plans. So they're pushing a negative agenda,

00:21:19.600 if you will. We don't like Trump. That's not enough to win a midterm election, in my opinion.

00:21:25.260 You know, they also don't have a leader either. And I don't know how important that is for

00:21:28.940 midterm elections because we're not, you know, it's not a political, it's not a presidential

00:21:32.520 election. But I'm sure you of all people have noticed there is no real front runner for the

00:21:39.260 democrats right now uh even for president i mean you could say gavin newsom you could say kamala

00:21:44.540 harris but i think it's a real stretch to call them a front earner even among democrats let

00:21:49.240 alone the rest of the country is that a problem for them too well it's funny you should mention

00:21:53.900 this i was with doug davenport today one of the leading republican strategists in our party a guy

00:21:59.620 who's whose real expertise has been mentioned politics and county delegates one of the most

00:22:04.500 knowledgeable guys i know and he says to me you know their real problem is who's their front

00:22:09.720 runner is it ram emmanuel the former mayor of chicago or is it aoc or maybe god would this be

00:22:17.040 great it's kamala harris coming back for another shot or gavin newsom now if you're gavin newsom

00:22:22.820 kind of reminded of mike dukakis in a way what's your slogan he'll do for america what he's done

00:22:28.140 for california it's not much of a slogan if you look at california you have a state with near

00:22:33.660 perfect weather year round. One of the most, I mean, physically beautiful, naturally beautiful

00:22:39.420 places on earth. And they have turned it into the world's largest indoor outdoor toilet. I mean,

00:22:45.220 it is, it's gross. I, I would say my wife and I used to go rent a home in Santa Monica or Venice

00:22:54.480 Beach for a month every summer. I wouldn't go to either one of those places now because you'd have

00:23:00.560 to beat back the homeless people and the drug addicts and people who were defecating in the

00:23:05.660 streets in order to get into a restaurant or a store. So it's pathetic what they have done, 0.97

00:23:12.800 but that's what the high tax, soft on crime policies of Gavin Newsom have done. We haven't 0.88

00:23:19.140 even gotten to the corruption yet. Millions and millions and millions of dollars in states like

00:23:24.100 california states like minnesota states like like michigan they're literally just missing

00:23:30.420 it's uh it is a it's a massive scandal if people think for example in minnesota the

00:23:37.860 the somali community based uh scandals where millions of dollars of our tax dollars have

00:23:44.400 disappeared if people don't think that will be an issue in the upcoming elections i think they're

00:23:49.000 very wrong yeah you know um and and and of course kamala harris is also from california i mean it's 0.94

00:23:56.600 it's it's the fruit of the poison tree really when you think about it uh the thing about kamala harris

00:24:01.840 is and this is something if you remember in the first two years after the 2016 elections there

00:24:06.500 was also a push to rerun hillary clinton as well i remember i wrote an editorial at the time

00:24:11.440 for cnbc explaining why you know you just can't do that and the last person who didn't get the

00:24:16.700 message after losing a presidential election was Adlai Stevenson do you know that after he lost in

00:24:21.400 52 and 56 he expected to be nominated again in 1960 you probably know that I mean the guy was

00:24:26.400 incredibly uh arrogant and and you know in a bubble but the point is when you lose a presidential

00:24:32.460 election in modern America that it's it's it's you can't really recover from that unless you know

00:24:39.660 you're I mean that's why somebody like Richard Nixon and Donald Trump are so incredibly unique

00:24:44.820 It's very, very hard to recover from that, especially if you don't have any kind of track record or policy record like Kamala Harris doesn't have.

00:24:52.660 You know what I mean?

00:24:53.280 This is incredible that she's even being considered.

00:24:56.780 Yeah, there's no reason to believe that she would be a better candidate this time than she was last time.

00:25:00.780 With her famous word, Salad. 0.97

00:25:02.440 She certainly has not gotten any smarter.

00:25:05.480 That is true.

00:25:06.000 I will say that I'm impressed, Jake, with the fact that you know that in 1960, Eleanor Roosevelt and Joe Rao so despised John F. Kennedy because he was an anti-communist, because he wasn't really a liberal, that they did try to get Adelaide Stevenson nominated for a third time.

00:25:23.840 He already lost the presidency in 1952 and 1956, and yes, they tried to get him nominated a third time.

00:25:30.520 He's like the George McGovern of the 50s.

00:25:33.500 Yeah, I mean, he wouldn't stop running. Incredible. He had the best PR agent ever. People really thought he was a highly educated guy. When he passed away, they found like one book in his apartment and it was the social register. And he was just a complete fraud.

00:25:47.800 But anyway, I want to get back to something you talked about earlier, which is the funding advantage that Republicans have.

00:25:53.660 And that's for sure true.

00:25:55.240 But that leads me to want to ask you about the growing scandal of solid evidence that the Democrats are getting foreign funding to their campaigns via places like ActBlue, which admitted ActBlue admitted that they did not vet a tremendous amount of the donations that they funneled to the Democrat Party.

00:26:15.260 And there are still people out there, by the way, a lot of them happen to be Republicans, who say that they found charges on their credit cards from Act Blue.

00:26:24.200 I mean, so last night we talked about the Save America Act.

00:26:26.700 That's a priority.

00:26:27.980 But we've got to clean up these – the way – I mean, it didn't take long, really, for foreign governments to figure out ways around whatever safeguards we have from them, from investing in our campaigns.

00:26:39.220 This is a massive scandal.

00:26:41.440 I'm glad that you footnoted this.

00:26:43.380 I spoke about it on the Stones on, I think it was Monday.

00:26:46.700 For people who aren't familiar, ActBlue is a payment processor.

00:26:50.900 And what they do is they allow people to make contributions using credit cards where they turn off the verification.

00:26:57.820 So you don't have to put in an address so that the card's authenticity is verified.

00:27:05.020 Or they allow people to give contributions with prepaid credit cards or through PayPal.

00:27:11.420 So what they're basically doing is they're flooding millions of dollars, largely foreign money, into the American political system, and they're attributing to donors who didn't really give any.

00:27:22.940 So like my friend James O'Keefe, formerly of Project Veritas, now with O'Keefe Media.

00:27:30.220 He goes to the homes of these people, knocks on the doors, says, hey, Mrs. McGillicuddy, I'm James O'Keefe.

00:27:37.180 I'd like to ask you about these contributions you gave to Kamala Harris.

00:27:41.220 And Mrs. McGillicuddy says, what are you talking about?

00:27:43.100 She says, well, here's a list of the, you gave 22 times, and you gave 25 bucks each time.

00:27:49.740 And Mrs. McGillicuddy says, I don't know what you're talking about.

00:27:52.560 I don't even like Kamala Harris.

00:27:54.340 I haven't given any money.

00:27:55.840 Wait a minute, she says, you know, a long time ago, I think I gave 15 bucks to Hillary Clinton,

00:28:01.680 but that has to be decades ago.

00:28:04.640 This is very typical.

00:28:05.760 And they have, in the Senate races particularly, they have flooded money into all of these individual federal races that are what we call smurfs.

00:28:17.940 That's a technical term.

00:28:19.520 These are people who don't really exist.

00:28:21.400 So sometimes the person who's the alleged donor, the address that they give is an address that doesn't exist.

00:28:28.700 The person does not exist.

00:28:30.060 Or other times, they're giving money in the name of someone else.

00:28:34.500 But when you go check with that person, if they're not scared by the glare of the cameras,

00:28:39.560 they tell you the truth, which is they didn't give the money.

00:28:42.220 This is a massive, multi-billion-dollar scandal.

00:28:46.140 But here's the good news, Jake.

00:28:47.300 The woman who is the CEO of ActBlue, she made $350K last year.

00:28:54.940 So you think that that's going to lead to some revelations from her as far as I'm concerned?

00:29:01.840 Well, here's what I do know, and that is once the House Oversight Committee started investigating, all the lawyers and all the top executives at ActBlue almost immediately resigned and disappeared.

00:29:14.180 So I think this is a massive, massive campaign finance scandal, and I'm not sure what happens when they can't take this money in.

00:29:22.680 Right, and it's money laundering.

00:29:24.920 And by the way, what a great money laundering scam the people whose accounts are being used don't even know.

00:29:30.900 I mean, that's that's really helpful. You know, this reminds me of something, though, that also just really grinds my gears and I'm sure it does to you as well.

00:29:40.380 Whenever we talk about these kinds of things, whether it's ballot box stuffing, ballot harvesting or stuff like ActBlue, you get this pat answer from the Democrats in the mainstream media.

00:29:50.460 They keep saying the same term every single time. There is no evidence of anything.

00:29:54.220 You know, there's also something called common sense. I'll share a little secret with you, although it's not really a secret with you and all the audience.

00:29:59.800 my great great grandfather Morris Eller was a Republican operative in Chicago he was also

00:30:06.240 probably and I know everyone thinks it's Meyer Lansky but remember Meyer Lansky never had his

00:30:10.480 own operation he worked for others he probably was the most successful and powerful Jewish mobster

00:30:15.240 in American history he had a tremendous operation and one of the things he did was not necessarily 0.90

00:30:20.340 vote rigging Roger but what he used to do is he would kidnap Democrat vote riggers on election

00:30:25.640 day put them up in a nice hotel at gunpoint and keep them in that hotel until the election was

00:30:30.660 over that's how he helped the republicans win elections it was kind of brilliant because there

00:30:34.020 was nothing they could get them on there was no paper fraud to look at my point is can we just

00:30:39.200 have common sense we all agree that winning elections is an item of value you're telling

00:30:43.320 me that there's no evidence that no one is trying to steal an item of value that would be the first

00:30:47.820 time in human history that there wasn't at least some attempt to steal something and there's always

00:30:52.200 a 20 percent or 10 percent um rate of theft no matter what it is no matter how well you guard it

00:30:57.340 i mean the the stretching of common sense that the mainstream media and the democrats demand of us

00:31:02.700 is no longer just a joke because this is serious i mean these are not just democrats and liberals

00:31:08.460 out there i refuse to call george soros and neville singham uh leftists they're not leftists

00:31:13.600 they're enemies of the united states they're not really political they just hate us there are

00:31:17.300 enemies it's got nothing they don't really i don't think they have a political philosophy other

00:31:20.280 And then they hate the United States and they have financial interest in our in our failure.

00:31:24.540 This is not a joke. And this is a massive money laundering scheme.

00:31:28.900 I mean, every time there's an I.D. theft story about somebody's information getting out on the dark web, they break in the news about it.

00:31:34.800 But this they won't report no evidence. I mean, it stretches credulity and it's really annoying to me.

00:31:39.660 Well, first of all, Jake, now that I know your heritage, I like you even more.

00:31:43.120 But then secondarily, I'm reminded of this incredible interview that we just saw a couple weeks ago where Kristen Welker with NBC insists in her interview with Donald Trump that there's literally no evidence whatsoever of irregularities or anomalies in the 2020 election when, in fact, the president's right.

00:32:05.540 The evidence is all around us. It reminded me of when Leslie Stahl insisted with a huge amount of arrogance that Donald Trump's campaign was never spied on, which, of course, we now know, thanks to the declassified documents provided by Tulsa Gabbard, whose last day on the job, by the way, is tomorrow.

00:32:24.140 One of the reasons I'm in Washington is to see her is, you know, is absolutely untrue.

00:32:30.120 So the left, they can never admit the truth, not even not even to try to preserve their own credibility.

00:32:37.880 I think you may have been the one who said it. Instead of saying, well, it might have been some minor fraud, but it wasn't enough to actually change the results.

00:32:44.300 It's like, no, there was no fraud whatsoever. What are you talking about? You're a lunatic. You're you're you're a conspiracy theorist.

00:32:51.380 when the proof is all around us.

00:32:55.220 I mean, when more people vote in the city of Philadelphia

00:32:58.920 than are registered to vote,

00:33:00.380 I'd say that's proof of voter fraud.

00:33:02.660 What would you say?

00:33:03.600 Yeah, I mean, come on.

00:33:05.120 It's just, I mean, stop with the no evidence.

00:33:08.400 And it's just, you know, it's real arrogance.

00:33:10.420 Like they just, they don't understand that

00:33:12.340 this is a conversation the American people want to have

00:33:15.580 and they're just making it worse.

00:33:17.600 Roger, if you can stay with us after the break,

00:33:19.280 I'd like to get into another thing

00:33:20.580 that you talked about before,

00:33:21.880 which is the redistricting situation

00:33:23.440 and a strong belief I have

00:33:26.300 about the way that we need

00:33:27.580 to talk about it in this country

00:33:29.140 and another example

00:33:30.480 of how the mainstream media

00:33:31.440 is lying about it.

00:33:32.240 So if you stick with us,

00:33:33.160 we'll get into that here

00:33:34.160 on The Stone Zone.

00:33:36.640 Every day in Ontario,

00:33:38.240 a shelter worker will help

00:33:39.320 someone fleeing violence.

00:33:40.760 A child therapist

00:33:41.660 will help a kid in crisis.

00:33:43.600 A support worker will help

00:33:44.720 a person with disabilities

00:33:45.960 live a full life

00:33:46.960 in their community.

00:33:47.660 They and countless other workers

00:33:49.600 show up for Ontarians every single day.

00:33:52.780 But the Ford government's cuts have left workers

00:33:54.820 with no choice but to go on strike.

00:33:57.040 Today, workers are on the picket lines

00:33:58.740 fighting for their communities

00:34:00.060 and the services we all depend on.

00:34:02.240 Now it's our turn to show up for them.

00:34:04.300 Visit worthfightingfor.ca to show your support.

00:34:08.520 The Stone Zone, entertaining and informative

00:34:12.120 on the Red Apple Podcast Network.

00:34:15.300 And this is truly still the Stone Zone this evening

00:34:17.800 because we still have Roger Stone on the phone

00:34:19.480 I'm Jake Novak, sitting in the regular chair for Roger.

00:34:22.560 Thank you so much for the opportunity.

00:34:24.380 Roger, if you will indulge me just for a minute, because you were talking about the redistricting

00:34:28.140 and how you believe it went from being a wash for the Republicans to now an advantage.

00:34:32.700 I want to read you a paragraph, and I'm sorry I have to do this, because this is a paragraph

00:34:35.600 from CNN.com, which I think gets to the heart of the dishonest packaging of this whole redistricting

00:34:43.560 thing.

00:34:44.140 Here it is.

00:34:45.180 Now, this is about actually a story that's not so great for the Republicans.

00:34:47.920 Because the Georgia legislature has decided not to go ahead with redistricting, which is a mistake.

00:34:52.460 But here's the headline, the lead paragraph.

00:34:55.420 Georgia's Republican legislative leaders on Wednesday rejected Governor Brian Kemp's call to redraw congressional and legislative districts during a special session, citing concerns about moving too quickly after.

00:35:08.680 Here's the key phrase.

00:35:09.860 After a U.S. Supreme Court decision weakened Federal Voting Rights Act protections for minority voters.

00:35:17.520 And, you know, Roger, you know why this grinds my gears? Because to me, this is the greatest act, the redistricting thing here and the destruction of and the erasing of these racially gerrymandered districts, I believe, is one of the greatest liberating chances for black Americans since either at least the Emancipation Proclamation or the 1964 Civil Rights Act.

00:35:40.180 because this is feudalism, Roger.

00:35:43.080 These black candidates are the people 0.98

00:35:44.420 who represent these black gerrymandered districts. 0.99

00:35:46.660 No, they don't have to do a darn thing, 0.99

00:35:48.860 especially economically for their districts.

00:35:51.580 And so guess what?

00:35:52.700 They don't.

00:35:53.760 The idea that this is somehow taking away a protection,

00:35:56.280 protection from what?

00:35:57.200 So they can continue to be serfs?

00:35:59.100 I mean, to me, this is the big problem here.

00:36:01.280 America doesn't realize that these gerrymandered districts

00:36:03.560 are a huge reason for the economic backwardness 0.98

00:36:07.420 of too many black Americans. 1.00

00:36:09.440 I'm sure you agree. 1.00

00:36:11.080 Well, Jake, I don't get my news from CNN for the same reason I don't drink out of the toilet.

00:36:16.160 I mean, this is you're you're absolutely right here.

00:36:20.120 Here's the problem for the Democrats.

00:36:21.880 First of all, the word gerrymander, which is spelled G-E-R-R-Y, gerrymander, is named after a Democrat state legislator in Massachusetts.

00:36:31.420 They have already gerrymandered any place they can.

00:36:34.080 So they have rigged the districts in California, Illinois, New York, Pennsylvania, just for examples.

00:36:39.440 There are no new districts for them to invent. In fact, they had to have these racial divisions to come up with these weirdly shaped districts in order to preserve the rigged maps.

00:36:51.680 Now the Supreme Court won't allow that anymore. So you have in states like Florida, Texas, Tennessee, Alabama, for example, places where you can have a fairer, more equitable congressional redistricting.

00:37:05.780 And that means Republicans are likely to pick up seats.

00:37:08.640 There is no place else for them to steal seats.

00:37:10.820 They've been engaged in the same activity for decades.

00:37:14.260 And now they're vexing.

00:37:15.460 There is no weakening of voting rights protections.

00:37:19.160 That is a falsehood.

00:37:20.840 But you're right. 0.98

00:37:21.640 Now what you won't have are safe districts where minority incumbents don't even have to show up for work because they know that they will be reelected. 0.74

00:37:31.080 Now you have more competitive districts.

00:37:33.500 And that in itself is a plus for the American people.

00:37:36.880 And the opposite is true, because what you want to be in America is a swing voter.

00:37:42.000 And that increases the chances of you being catered to and listened to by tenfold.

00:37:47.900 So it's actually not a weakening of black voting rights in this country.

00:37:51.620 It's going to strengthen them.

00:37:53.600 Suddenly they will be in districts where they could decide an election.

00:37:57.200 That's what you want to be.

00:37:58.620 You know, billionaires in America, for example, they don't all vote one way.

00:38:01.980 They're not all Democrats or all Republican, and that's because they're smart.

00:38:05.460 That's how they got to be billionaires.

00:38:07.260 They know that they're a swing vote.

00:38:09.220 So are some other groups.

00:38:10.520 Catholics in America have traditionally been swing voters.

00:38:14.440 Black people becoming swing voters in this country for real, not just about a turnout thing, is going to be great for them.
