A federal judge in Washington D.C. has now done what the political class, the bureaucratic, permanent government, and the Biden damage control machine hope would never actually happen. U.S. District Judge Dabney Friedrich has denied former President Joe Biden s effort to block the Department of Justice from releasing redacted audio recordings and transcripts of Joe Biden's interviews with his ghostwriter.
00:00:00.320The Stone Zone, entertaining and informative on the Red Apple Podcast Network.
00:00:07.540And you're now jumping headfirst into the Stone Zone.
00:00:11.540This just in, a federal judge in Washington, D.C., has now done what the political class,
00:00:18.020the bureaucratic permanent government, and the Biden damage control machine hope would never actually happen.
00:00:24.220U.S. District Judge Dabney Friedrich has denied former President Joe Biden's effort to block the Department of Justice from releasing redacted audio recordings and transcripts of Joe Biden's interviews with his ghostwriter Mark Zwanitzer.
00:00:42.000These are the very interviews that were relied upon by the special counsel Robert Herr in his investigation of Joe Biden's mishandling of classified documents.
00:00:51.980You'll recall that the Biden Justice Department charged former President Donald Trump with mishandling federal documents when, in fact, the Presidential Documents Act allow a former president to retain and declassify any document that he wishes.
00:01:08.900Joe Biden, who retained documents from his period as a U.S. senator and vice president, as well as during the time prior to the time of his becoming president, in violation of law, was not charged.
00:01:27.440This is not merely a procedural ruling in a random Freedom of Information Act case.
00:01:32.780It's a major victory for transparency, accountability, and the basic principle that the American people have a right to know who was actually capable of exercising the powers of the presidency.
00:01:45.180You'll recall that when it was learned that President Richard Nixon had taped his various conversations in the Oval Office, Nixon went to court to try to block the release of those tapes, and the U.S. Supreme Court ruled against him 9-0.
00:02:03.680Yet Joe Biden here was making essentially the same argument, and he lost, so much for the two-tier justice system in this case.
00:02:12.260This case, brought by the Heritage Foundation and specifically Mike Howell, who's appeared here in the Stone Zone, sought records from Special Counsel Robert Herr's investigation, including these very materials that Herr had specifically cited in his report.
00:02:29.680Robert Herr was appointed in January of 2023 by Attorney General Merrick Garland
00:02:34.280to investigate classified documents that were discovered at the Penn Biden Center,
00:02:39.680as well as Joe Biden's Wilmington, Delaware residence.
00:02:43.900Special Counsel Herr ultimately declined to prosecute Biden,
00:02:48.300in direct contrast to the decision made by the Biden Justice Department to prosecute Donald Trump,
00:02:53.800in part because he believed it would be difficult to convince a jury
00:02:57.120that an elderly former president with evident memory problems had the necessary criminal intent.
00:03:03.740So I ask you, if he wasn't cognizant enough to be held responsible for this broken violation of law,
00:03:10.580how is he cognizant enough to be president of the United States?
00:03:15.440In this report, Herr described Biden's recorded conversations with his ghostwriter as painfully slow,
00:03:21.340with Biden struggling to remember events and straining to read and relay entries from his own notebooks.
00:03:28.320That finding was explosive when it first became public
00:03:31.400because it punctured the very carefully constructed fiction
00:03:35.500that Biden's decline was merely some right-wing talking point,
00:03:40.020as if we couldn't see it with our own eyes.
00:03:42.640The American people were told for years that Biden was vigorous.
00:03:45.460He was alert. He was engaged, sharp as a tack, as what I believe Vice President Kamala Harris said.
00:03:51.340and fully in command. The American people were told not to believe their own eyes when he wandered,
00:03:57.680mumbled, forgot names, appeared confused, needed constant stage management to complete the simplest
00:04:03.960public appearances. Now the courts are moving us closer to the underlying evidence that may show
00:04:09.720when the decline was evident and what those around him knew. Biden intervened in this freedom of
00:04:16.360information lawsuit and sought a preliminary injunction to stop the release. His lawyers
00:04:21.540argued privacy, grief, and process, weak arguments. They insisted these recordings
00:04:27.300involved deeply personal conversations connected to the writing of his book,
00:04:31.940Promise Me, Dad, A Year of Hope, Hardship, and Purpose. Richard Nixon argued that his recordings
00:04:38.740were deeply personal as well. The Supreme Court ruled against him. Biden's memoir about the death
00:04:44.760of his son, Beau Biden, who was the attorney general of the state of Delaware, and his decision
00:04:51.400not to run for president in 2016. No decent person mocks grief, obviously. No fair-minded person
00:04:58.480denies that any father's anguish over the loss of his son is profoundly human.
00:05:03.080But at the time, Biden accused her of raising the question of his late son, yet we now know
00:05:10.700that from these recordings that it was the other way around. It was Joe Biden who first raised that
00:05:16.040question. These recordings were not merely private family reminiscences. They became evidence in the
00:05:28.240and the mental state of a man who later occupied the most powerful office on earth. Judge Friedrich's
00:05:34.740opinion makes that distinction with clarity. The court found that the Department of Justice had
00:05:39.720made substantial redactions to protect sensitive personal information, including family matters,
00:05:45.540health issues, illness, death, and reference to non-public persons. What remained, according to
00:05:51.720the court, largely concerned matters such as foreign policy and subjects already discussed
00:05:57.260in public through the HER report, which has been made public, as well as congressional testimony
00:06:02.840or Biden's own memoir. So in other words, this was not a judicial order to parade private family
00:06:09.900grief before the public. It was a rejection of Biden's attempt to use privacy as a blanket shield
00:06:15.320against public scrutiny of his government record and an examination of his fitness to serve as
00:06:21.080president. The ruling is especially important because the court recognized the extraordinary
00:06:26.300public interest that was at stake. It's the same argument that was used in the Nixon case.
00:06:30.960Heard's investigation involved a sitting president, classified documents, a special counsel who was vilified as a Republican, that was false, who reported to the attorney general, and an attorney general who served under the very president whose conduct was being examined.
00:06:48.680That structure alone creates an obvious need for transparency.
00:06:53.080The public has a right to know whether Mr. Heard pulled his punches or acted properly.
00:06:57.480The public also has a right to assess the evidence.
00:07:00.960Robert Herr relied upon when he declined to prosecute Biden
00:07:05.300while describing serious concerns about Biden's memory and mental faculties.
00:07:10.040That, of course, only became apparent after Joe had been forced out of the race by Barack Obama.
00:07:16.920The Biden team argued that the Justice Department's reversal was arbitrary, capricious, and politically motivated.
00:07:24.980The court held that the department's decision was adequately explained and that Biden was unlikely to succeed on the merits.
00:07:31.960The court acknowledged that once private material is released, the harm cannot be undone, but found that Biden's privacy showing could not overcome the weak merits of his legal claim.
00:07:41.820More importantly, the court concluded that the balance of equities and the public interest favored full disclosure.
00:07:48.200This is precisely how the Freedom of Information Act is supposed to work.
00:07:51.900The Freedom of Investigation Act was not enacted to protect and comfort powerful men.
00:07:57.320It was enacted to pierce the curtain of government secrecy so citizens can understand what their government has done in their name.
00:08:04.480A republic cannot survive when official truth is manufactured by press secretaries, curated by bureaucrats, and enforced by the compliant and duplicitous mainstream media.
00:08:15.640Records matter, evidence matters, audio matters because tone, hesitation, confusion, pace, and comprehension cannot always be captured on a cold written transcript.
00:08:28.220That's why these tapes matter more than the Biden camp wants to admit.
00:08:32.660A transcript cannot be sanitized by formatting, a summary cannot be massaged by lawyers, a press statement cannot be spun by consultants,
00:08:41.760but a tape has a brutal honesty of its own.
00:08:43.920It carries the pauses, the stumbling, the uncertainty, the strain,
00:08:47.920and the cadence of a man in real time.
00:08:50.940If Robert or her relied on the way Biden sounded,
00:08:53.460then the American people are entitled to hear enough of that evidence
00:08:56.460to judge whether the special counsel's conclusions not to prosecute Biden
00:09:32.900The documents belong to the people because the government belongs to the people.
00:09:37.060The presidency is not a family business, not a private trust, not a retirement-owned party elders, and not an institution to be operated behind velvet ropes by aides wielding an auto pen.
00:09:50.200The auto pen issue now looms over this entire scandal like a dark cloud over the Potomac.
00:09:55.920If Biden's decline was visible years before he entered the White House, then the American people must know who exercised power when he could not.
00:10:03.500They must know who made the decisions, who signed documents, who approved policy, who controlled access, and who used the machinery of the executive branch while hiding behind the image of a president who may not have been fully capable of performing the office.
00:10:19.360And this will become particularly relevant in view of our upcoming story.
00:10:24.500That is that Tulsi Gabbard, the outgoing director of national intelligence, has released new documents that shed light on the actions of Dr. Anthony Fauci.
00:10:35.800Now, this is significant because Fauci has received an auto-pen generated pardon against any crime he may have committed.
00:10:47.080That will become extremely relevant in our upcoming story.
00:10:51.440The defenders of Biden will say that this decision by the courts is cruel.
00:10:55.360They will say that it was an indecent to examine the frailties of an aging man.
00:11:01.900That argument might carry weight if Biden had been a private citizen,
00:11:05.800but it collapses when applied to a president of the United States.
00:11:09.660No man has the right to occupy the Oval Office while concealing incapacity from the voters.
00:11:14.860No party has a right to install a figurehead while unelected handlers govern from the shadows.
00:11:21.960Compassion for age and illness must be overcome and cannot be used as an excuse for deception at the highest levels of government.

00:14:07.320Now, newly declassified documents released by Tulsi Gabbard are showing additional light
00:14:13.340on the actions of Dr. Anthony Fauci, the intelligence community, and how the COVID-19
00:14:19.040pandemic was inflicted on an unsuspecting American public.
00:14:23.960In a video statement, Gabbard accused Fauci of lying, spreading misinformation, and helping suppress evidence that the virus likely leaked from the Wuhan Institute of Virology in China.
00:14:37.140She said Fauci's agency helped send U.S. taxpayer dollars to risky gain-of-function, these are weaponization research in Wuhan, then worked with corrupt intelligence officials to bury the lab leak theory and destroy those who challenged the official narrative.
00:14:55.460According to Gabbard, the documents include hundreds of emails showing that intelligence assessments were often incorporated in Fauci's recommendations.
00:15:04.200Tulsi Gabbard also alleges that Fauci lied under oath in 2024 when he denied involvement in discussions with intelligence officials about the viral research.
00:15:15.760The release also points to whistleblowers who say they faced retaliation, career damage, and threats after raising concerns about the manipulation of intelligence surrounding COVID's origins.
00:15:29.460won a Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory report
00:15:35.020that reportedly found the necessary conditions for an accidental release
00:15:38.960for a lab-modified coronavirus that existed at the Wuhan lab in 2019.
00:15:44.280This confirms what many Americans have known for years,
00:15:47.460that during the COVID pandemic, powerful officials shut down debate,
00:15:52.800censored dissent, and protected themselves
00:15:55.220while the American people paid a horrific price.
00:15:59.460Millions of people died, as well as needlessly were endangered, needlessly because of the gross incompetence and the megalomania of the modern American Mengele, Dr. Fauci.
00:16:13.920His desire to play God turned deadly for the entire world.
00:16:18.700Now, in my opinion, he must be charged.
00:16:20.700That would lead immediately to a full airing of the legality and the validity of the so-called
00:16:28.480auto pen pardons. So in this case, Dr. Anthony Fauci has gotten a preemptive
00:16:34.820pardon from Joe Biden on his way out the door, but Joe Biden didn't sign that pardon. It was
00:16:40.980signed by an auto pen. Did Joe Biden even know that that pardon was given, or did he authorize
00:16:46.840Well, a court case would raise that question.
00:16:51.060So I guess my argument here is that Fauci should be charged based on all this information put forward by Tulsi Gabbard, also by Senator Rand Paul, who has said consistently that Fauci lied in front of his committee hearing.
00:17:13.840In the meantime, however, Tulsi Gabbard, once again, standing tall, before she leaves the office of the Director of National Intelligence, she declassified all of the documents proving that the Russian collusion claims were a hoax, a seditious conspiracy run and directed by Barack Obama himself.
00:17:32.640She released documents proving that the impeachment of Donald Trump was yet another fabricated fraud.
00:17:41.060She terminated the classified security clearance for 37 officials, 37 of the 51 intelligence officials who claimed that Hunter Biden's laptop was Russian disinformation.
00:17:55.060We now know that at least 17% of the American people said that they had known that Hunter Biden's laptop was real
00:18:02.260They would have voted very differently than they did in 2020
00:18:05.660So Tulsi Gabbard leaves as an American hero
00:18:14.660She'll be back because I believe her greatest days of public service lie ahead
00:18:19.040Here she has done one last extraordinary act of public service
00:18:22.800And that is exposing that Dr. Anthony Fauci is a mass murderer, a modern day Mengele, and he should be held responsible.
00:18:31.780I'm Roger Stone. Listen to The Stone Zone. And we'll be right back.
00:18:38.760The Stone Zone, entertaining and informative on the Red Apple Podcast Network.
00:18:44.940Well, President Donald Trump's preliminary peace agreement with Iran is drawing very strong support from American voters.
00:18:53.060According to a new Qantas survey, Trump signed the Memorandum of Understanding after the G7 meeting in Yvonne-le-Barre, France, at the Palace of Versailles,
00:19:04.780while the Iranian president, Massoud Perzerkian, signed remotely.
00:19:10.200The agreement puts a 60-day ceasefire and negotiation framework into effect,
00:19:14.900with both sides expected to work quickly towards a final deal.
00:19:19.300Under a preliminary agreement, the United States will lift the naval blockade of Iran,
00:19:24.560work with regional partners on reconstruction and economic development,
00:19:28.200and begin the process of ending sanctions.
00:19:31.500Iran, in return, has agreed to reopen the Strait of Hormuz
00:19:35.260and reaffirm that it will not obtain or develop nuclear weapons.
00:19:39.860Already, ship tracking data shows that vessels moving through the Strait of Hormuz
00:19:44.700and American gas prices have fallen below $4 for the first time in months.
00:19:52.400And the public approves of this progress.
00:19:55.900Qantas found that 43% of Americans strongly approve of the peace agreement,
00:20:01.580while another 13% somewhat approve, while only 13% expressed disapproval.
00:20:07.740Trump celebrated the deal on true social, declaring that oil is flowing again.
00:20:12.700Iran will never have a nuclear weapon.
00:20:15.840Markets are rising, job creation is strong, and prices are swiftly dropping.
00:20:21.380This is President Trump's patient approach, and it's paying off.
00:20:24.520President Trump used military pressure, economic leverage, and diplomatic speed to force Tehran to the table and reopen a vital energy corridor.
00:20:34.840This success shows that American leadership can stop wars, lower prices, and defend national security without surrendering strength.
00:20:43.940Now, I say we must stay vigilant to make sure that other foreign interests don't sabotage this peace deal for their own aims.
00:20:51.640Meanwhile, the Obama Presidential Center officially opened in Chicago, and the message from Michelle Obama shows how self-subborn this broad-shouldered diva truly is.
00:21:04.380Asked by Good Morning America's Robin Roberts to describe the next chapter of their lives in one word, former President Barack Obama answered, fun.
00:21:17.520Hmm, does that mean she's going to be a candidate for president?
00:21:19.920I've long thought that was a possibility. I thought she would be in the past. In fact, I thought she would have been the candidate after they dumped Joe Biden. But I think she wasn't quite ready yet. I wouldn't rule it out.
00:21:31.060The comment came as the long-delayed Obama Presidential Center opened its doors after years of planning, lawsuits, construction delays, and cost overruns.
00:21:41.580First announced as early as 2015 as a major investment in Chicago's South Side, the nearly 20-acre campus includes a museum, public spaces, athletic facilities, gardens, and exhibits devoted to defying the globalist false isle.
00:21:59.060The design kind of resembles the Death Star
00:22:22.380Speakers included a land acknowledgement
00:22:24.340Recognizing indigenous nations tied to the area
00:22:27.900in a nauseating display of virtue signaling.0.77
00:22:31.600Elite progressives showed up to the opening of the center to celebrate themselves,
00:22:35.820playing lip service to social justice drivel,
00:22:38.980while Chicagoans still face crime, failing schools, high costs,
00:22:43.800and broken city services in their city that is being run off the rails by Democrats.
00:22:48.500But Michelle Obama doesn't care about the plight of the average person in Chicago.1.00
00:22:53.800She's focused solely on self-aggrandizement and satiating her swollen ego.
00:22:59.080Perhaps Josh Hockett was on to something.
00:23:02.820We also have the story, which we've covered here extensively on The Stone Zone,1.00
00:23:06.020about the fact that many black contractors,
00:23:09.500those involved in the construction of the Obama Center, have been stiffed.
00:23:14.620This is extraordinary because originally, you recall,
00:23:17.600we were told that this was going to empower the black community,
00:23:20.140but black contractors aren't having their bills paid, and many at this point are settling for pennies on the dollar if they can get paid at all.
00:23:29.000Many of them struggle to stay alive.0.97
00:23:31.940It's really quite extraordinary, the hypocrisy that abounds regarding the entire Obama Center.0.97
00:23:38.540Plus, if you've seen it, the thing is hideous. It's hard to understand.0.94
00:23:42.220Meanwhile, the Republican National Committee and the Georgia Republican Party are taking Fulton County, Georgia,
00:23:47.360and Gwinnett County, Georgia, to court, accusing local election officials of ignoring state law
00:23:53.540and weakening absentee ballot safeguards. The lawsuits filed Thursday alleged that officials
00:23:59.680in the two Democrat-heavy counties created unauthorized absentee ballot drop-off locations
00:24:05.860and allowed voters to hand ballots directly to election workers for later transfer.
00:24:11.500Republicans say that those procedures go way beyond what Georgia law permits under SB202,
00:24:20.180the Election Integrity Act, signed by Governor Brian Kemp back in 2021.
00:24:25.280The Republican National Chairman Joe Gruters, a good friend of mine,
00:24:28.040said that Georgia election law is written by elected legislators and not by unelected county bureaucrats,
00:24:34.700and those bureaucrats are compelled to follow the law or they should face consequences.
00:24:40.820He warned that local boards cannot rewrite the rules by inventing new ballot collection systems
00:24:46.460or weakening the very security protections put into place by the state legislature.
00:24:51.620This lawsuit claims that Fulton and Gwinnett County tried to classify additional collection points as
00:24:57.760quote-unquote ballot bags, creating an unauthorized workaround opening the door to potential vote rigging.
00:25:04.500The Republican National Committee says that the policies restrict poll watcher access.
00:25:09.380They allow ballots to be collected outside of authorized times, and they permit workers to accept absentee ballots in ways that the state law simply does not allow.
00:25:19.420It sounds like the fraud blueprint that was used to fix the 2020 presidential election, in my opinion.
00:25:25.040The Republican National Committee's move to sue Georgia's counties show that they understand the paramount importance of election integrity.
00:25:33.260If we don't have honest and fair elections, what do we have?
00:25:36.960Ballots must be trapped, secured, and handled according to the same rules everywhere,
00:25:42.400not just adjusted county by county where officials dislike the law.
00:25:47.460Republicans are demanding that the court stop these practices
00:25:50.120and enforce compliance with Georgia election law.
00:25:53.620Every legal vote must count, and every ballot must also be protected.
00:25:57.980Confidence in elections depends on clear rules, equal enforcement, and accountability.
00:26:03.560Those not following the law must not only be sued, they must be thrown behind bars as a way to create a deterrent against that exact sort of behavior
00:26:13.420I have grave concerns about the integrity of the elections
00:26:17.100One of the great tragedies is that Tulsi Gabbard essentially left the office of the Director of National Intelligence
00:26:24.940before completing her investigation of the 2020 elections,
00:26:29.480both the electronic voting machines and whether they are secure
00:26:33.820or they have any integrity, as well as the paper ballots
00:26:37.080that seem to pop up at 3 o'clock in the morning in three different states
00:26:41.040all at the same time after the Republican observers had been forced from the scene.
00:26:50.480I'm not yet convinced about 2020, nor am I convinced that we'll have a fair election in 2026.
00:26:58.000Meanwhile, Washington, D.C. has chosen a Democratic Socialist as its next likely mayor,
00:27:04.500and this result shows how extremely leftism is gaining traction in cities nationwide.
00:27:09.580Janice Louis George defeated a more moderate Democrat by running hard on anti-Trump resistance0.90
00:27:16.620and promises of sweeping government actions to solve problems for city residents.1.00
00:27:21.760Those poor schmucks will now be led on a primrose path towards destruction.0.98
00:27:26.080George's victory follows similar left-wing wins in New York City, as we know, as well as Seattle,0.98
00:27:31.820showing how younger urban voters and public sector unions are pushing America's major cities further to the left.
00:27:39.740Louis George built a powerful coalition of labor unions, local socialists, and progressive activists.0.97
00:27:46.620Her campaign focused less on public safety and more on rent, child care, and cost of living anger.
00:27:53.740Candidate George's left-wing demagoguery connected with the public in a city frustrated after three terms of low IQ Muriel Bowser
00:28:02.320that has been rattled by federal workforce cuts and other problems.
00:28:06.720But campaign slogans are about to meet reality, you see.
00:28:10.780Washington faces a major budget gap, unemployment above 6%,
00:28:15.380showing slowing population growth, empty federal offices,
00:28:19.800and a downtown economy that needs private investment, not socialist meddling.
00:28:24.980Already, the new mayor, Louis George, appears to be moderating some promises,
00:28:29.540including questions about a wealth tax and whether universal child care can happen immediately in D.C.
00:28:36.120D.C. voters may want affordability, but higher taxes, bigger bureaucracy, and anti-business policies make everything worse and only exacerbates the existing problems.
00:28:46.340By moving in the National Guard, Donald Trump brought crime down sharply.
00:28:50.760Even Democrat Mayor Muriel Bowser was forced to admit it.
00:28:54.760Most folks of common sense need to understand that when leaders fail to control costs, crime, and schools, voters can succumb to radical promises.
00:29:03.660It's kind of like the hope and change thing.
00:29:06.840The only path forward is by embracing populism.
00:29:09.740Stale, weak republicanism is hated by the masses and will get streamrolled by better organized leftists.
00:29:16.260Only through MAGA and an outsider populist agenda can reverse our national downslide.
00:29:22.900So I say they double down what President Trump has created, and we should crush these Marxists for good in the upcoming elections.
00:29:30.760Meanwhile, the United States Senate has passed a rare, unanimous message
00:29:36.300that Xi Jinping and the Chinese Communist Party must be held accountable.
00:29:40.600On June 16th, the U.S. Senate approved a resolution condemning Xi for deceit,
00:29:47.200undermining peace and security, and orchestrating crimes against humanity.
00:29:50.480The measure also urges the U.S. government to use every available tool,
00:30:24.860The resolution cites Beijing's role in covering up the early COVID-19 outbreak in Wuhan, misleading the world about the virus and using international bodies to spread falsehoods
00:30:38.620It also points to China's role in the fentanyl crisis, which is continuing, despite Xi's repeated promises to help stop the flow of the precursor chemicals used to make fentanyl
00:30:52.300Senators further accused the regime of trade cheating, intellectual property theft, cyber attacks, espionage, and operating secret police activity on American soil.
00:31:05.360The resolution, again supported by all hundred senators, also highlights decades of brutality from Tiananmen Square's massacre to the persecution of Falun Gong practitioners, forced organ harvesting allegations, and ongoing repression of dissidents.
00:31:21.480It's worth noting that the Chinese people are not America's enemy
00:31:25.880The communist regime that rules them, however, is
00:31:28.960And it is a greater threat that must be confronted
00:31:31.460America must stand for what is right1.00
00:31:50.680It is the greatest threat to American democracy.1.00
00:31:54.100It is China that is the greatest threat to our freedoms.1.00
00:31:56.880It is China that is buying up the ranch land, the farmland.1.00
00:32:00.800So much of our American real estate is China that is the greatest danger to this country.0.99
00:32:06.120And those who blame Richard Nixon, because he's the one who opened the door to China1.00
00:32:09.440and normalized our relations with him, don't really understand history.1.00
00:32:12.660You see, when Nixon opened the door to China, it was a dirt-poor, backwards, agrarian society.0.93
00:32:17.980It wasn't until Bill Clinton gave China most favored nation trading status that they became the economic and then therefore the military powerhouse in danger that they are now.0.99
00:32:29.220I'm Roger Stone, you're listening to The Stone Zone, and we'll be right back with more political news on the other side.
00:32:38.580The Stone Zone, entertaining and informative on the Red Apple Podcast Network.
00:32:44.760The Trump Justice Department is stepping in after Major League Baseball warned three San Francisco Giants players who quietly expressed their Christian faith during the LGBT Pride Night.
00:32:58.920Assistant Attorney General for Civil Rights Harmeet Dillon sent a letter to the Major League Baseball Commissioner Rob Manfred saying that the matter is being referred to the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission for further investigation.
00:33:12.560The controversy in question began when Giant pitchers Lyndon Roop, J.T. Brubaker, and Ryan Walker wrote Genesis 9, 12-16 on their caps near the Rainbow Pride logo.
00:33:28.440The Bible passage refers to God's covenant after the flood and the rainbow as its sign.
00:33:33.780Major League Baseball responded by warning the players that riding on uniforms violates league rules and should not happen again.
00:33:41.500But the Justice Department says the issue may involve religious discrimination.
00:33:46.440The Deputy Attorney General, Harmeet Dillon, noted that Title VII requires employers to reasonably accommodate the religious beliefs of their employees.
00:33:56.100She also pointed to an apparent double standard.
00:33:58.600You see, the Major League Baseball has allowed players to wear political messages such as Black Lives Matter patches while warning players who added scripture to pride-themed hats.
00:34:11.740That seems to me to be an inconsistency.
00:34:14.520That contrast raises an obvious question.
00:34:17.520So why is leftist pro-degeneracy political messaging celebrated while Christian expression is treated as a problem?
00:34:26.400The EEOC has not confirmed any investigation so far, citing confidentiality rules,
00:34:31.860but its chair said that the agency remains committed to protecting religious liberty for all workers.
00:34:38.240Professional athletes should not be forced to become walking billboards for beliefs that violate their Christian values.
00:34:44.920All pro-sporting leagues, with the notable exception of the UFC, have fallen into the woke trap,
00:34:50.880even though most of their fans are actually repulsed by it.
00:34:54.300Major League Baseball may have gone too far this time with their blatant disrespect of Christian athletes who will be watching this case very, very closely.
00:35:03.760Meanwhile, a far-left Boston College history professor is under fire after comparing the UFC event at the White House to racist violence of the 19th century lynch mobs.
00:35:15.460During an interview with former CNN reporter Jim Acosta, one of my favorites, Professor Heather Richardson argued that the impulse behind holding the UFC fight on the White House lawn was connected to the same impulse that drove slavery, lynching, and discrimination against Black Americans, Italian Americans, Mexican Americans, and Native Americans.
00:35:40.880She went further, suggesting that the event reflected a belief that America is a white nation
00:35:47.500and that anyone who challenged that view must be removed from political life.
00:35:53.500I watched the UFC fight. I didn't see that reflected at all.
00:35:57.800This is yet another example of elite academia projecting their own racial grievances onto everything they see.
00:36:04.940The UFC is one of the most diverse sports in the world, featuring fighters and fans from every race, nationality, and background.
00:36:12.900It is a showcase for all of the best fighters the world has to offer.
00:36:16.220Richardson didn't even understand the basic fact before spouting off ignorantly.0.83
00:36:20.860That's because she obviously didn't watch any of the fights.
00:36:24.560Holding a major athletic event at the White House may be unconventional, but comparing it to lynching trivializes one of the darkest chapters in American history.
00:36:34.160Other critics, including musician Sheryl Crow, also denounced the event, calling it indecent
00:36:39.700and accusing the Trump administration of distractions and corruption.
00:36:43.800But there was no such criticism when Biden at Easter celebrated transgenderism on the White House law.
00:36:53.280Millions of Americans saw something very different at the White House law.
00:36:56.360A president celebrating free expression, athleticism, competition, and honoring America with the inspiring visual display of these fights.
00:37:05.620The aesthetics of the event were breathtaking, and the left is triggered by the event because any celebration of American tradition to them is pure heresy.
00:37:15.640We should never apologize for any of this.
00:37:18.140Let the left be triggered if they want.
00:37:19.760Only adds to the fun of celebrating America.
00:37:22.380No place will be greater than on our 250th birthday coming up this July 4th.
