00:00:00.000 The Stone Zone, on the Red Apple Podcast Network.

00:00:06.320 Welcome to The Stone Zone. I'm your genial host, Roger Stone.

00:00:11.820 Well, Iron Mike Tyson, one of the greatest boxers of all time,

00:00:16.800 has weighed in on an area he knows a great deal about.

00:00:21.000 That is cannabis policy, cannabis, also known as marijuana.

00:00:25.860 See, Mike Tyson has used cannabis to treat pain and mental trauma he suffered from his long boxing career,

00:00:33.560 and he credits the substance with helping turn his life around.

00:00:39.580 In an ex-post, Tyson said,

00:00:42.680 President Trump's campaign proposal to reclassify cannabis from Schedule 1 to Schedule 3

00:00:51.280 is a pragmatic step towards forward that deserves bipartisan support.

00:00:58.660 Cannabis should not be deemed to be more dangerous than substances like fentanyl.

00:01:04.100 Today, marijuana, cannabis, is a Schedule 1 drug.

00:01:10.160 That puts it in the same category with cocaine and heroin.

00:01:15.180 There is much medical research that proves the medicinal value of cannabis,

00:01:24.260 much of it conducted in other countries because the big pharma forces have always limited the funding

00:01:35.400 for legitimate research into the potential medical benefits of cannabis here in the United States.

00:01:43.700 Even when tests were conducted, the quality or the amount of cannabis was never sufficient enough

00:01:53.620 to conduct a legitimate scientific inquiry.

00:01:58.120 While President Trump has very smartly called the removal of cannabis as a Schedule 1 drug,

00:02:04.480 the fiscal 2026 budget proposal contains other proposals that are harmful for those who rely on cannabis for medical purposes.

00:02:17.520 I have a personal stake in this.

00:02:20.620 When my father was dying of cancer and lost his appetite,

00:02:26.540 went from about 240 pounds down to about 135 pounds due to his lack of appetite and was also in horrific pain.

00:02:39.980 And the Oxycontin the doctors were giving him doing nothing other than constipating him and making his life miserable,

00:02:47.520 my sister and I decided on the recommendation of a friend to get him some marijuana.

00:02:54.520 He had his appetite restored and he dealt with the pain, even though at that point he was terminal.

00:03:04.120 Since that point, I have been a believer in the use of cannabis for medicinal purposes.

00:03:11.900 Americans for Safe Access reports that the fiscal year 2026 budget proposed by the Trump administration

00:03:20.620 omits longstanding spending restrictions by the DOJ and the DEA included in the Commerce, Justice, Science, and Related Agencies Appropriations Bill.

00:03:34.760 This will impact the Rohrabacher-Fahr Amendment that was passed by the Congress that restricted federal funds being used to interfere

00:03:43.620 with medical cannabis programs operated in compliance with state laws in the 40-some states where medicinal marijuana is currently legal.

00:03:57.500 Again, Americans for Safe Access is calling for a renewal of this amendment in the fiscal year 2026 budget

00:04:07.380 until substantial reform can be passed in Congress that protects medical cannabis patients nationwide.

00:04:15.960 It has certainly become popular to talk about the corruption of deep state entities like the NSA, the FBI, the CIA, the CDC, and the ATF, and rightfully so.

00:04:30.300 These bureaucrats are the scorn of patriots nationwide for their crimes against the republic.

00:04:36.200 But we must not forget about the DEA, the Drug Enforcement Agency.

00:04:42.480 Unfortunately, they're just as crooked as any of the other alphabet soup organizations in the Washington, D.C. swamp.

00:04:51.020 The sad truth is that millions of veterans count on cannabis to treat their PTSD.

00:05:00.160 It has proven to be far less dangerous than the other pharmaceutical drugs that are often prescribed for that purpose.

00:05:11.960 The DEA has been known to work with dirtbag confidential informants and frame innocent people with drugs.

00:05:19.280 They also allegedly worked with the CIA to create the crack cocaine epidemic that ravaged the inner city communities during the 1980s.

00:05:28.120 And these DEA thugs do not want to lose their war on drugs gravy train.

00:05:35.360 Let's remember that it was President Donald Trump who sponsored and pushed the First Step Act and the Second Chance Act,

00:05:44.640 though that was to undo the 1994 crime bill that was written by Judiciary Committee Chairman Joe Biden

00:05:54.700 and signed into law by President Bill Clinton.

00:05:58.720 That is the law that first for the first time targeted not drug dealers, not drug traffickers, but end users.

00:06:08.280 In other words, it passed harsh mandatory penalties for the possession of small amounts of drugs for personal use.

00:06:18.380 So the single mom who has three kids and is working two jobs gets arrested with a small amount of marijuana in her purse 0.98

00:06:28.200 and can be sentenced without any discretion by a judge based on the circumstances to many years in jail.

00:06:38.020 Now, this is a travesty and the 1994 crime bill, as written by Biden and signed by Bill Clinton,

00:06:46.900 has been used to incarcerate hundreds of thousands, if not at this point millions, of poor people and disproportionately African Americans.

00:06:58.260 It was Donald Trump who began the first serious criminal justice reform.

00:07:06.860 But the members of the Congressional Black Caucus, who'd been talking about this kind of reform for decades,

00:07:15.060 they voted against Donald Trump's reforms simply because they were proposed by Donald Trump.

00:07:23.080 The well-intentioned war in drugs that first passed under President Richard Nixon,

00:07:30.020 but was at that point focused at drug traffickers and drug dealers,

00:07:35.220 opened a Pandora's box on the Constitution.

00:07:38.780 Due process was turned on its head by abuses like asset forfeiture that declared an individual's property

00:07:45.940 who had not been found guilty of a crime could be seized prior to their trial even beginning.

00:07:53.480 The abuses that have spread because of the DEA are hard to believe.

00:07:58.760 The founding fathers would never have stood for such a thing.

00:08:02.880 Now, it should go without saying that when the DEA does a huge bust interdicting meth, heroin, or fentanyl,

00:08:11.940 they should be applauded.

00:08:13.180 These actions are necessary.

00:08:15.280 But going after a benign plant like cannabis with proven pharmaceutical alternatives being far worse is simply wrong.

00:08:28.080 The truth is alcohol is legal, alcohol is regulated, alcohol is taxed,

00:08:35.440 but alcohol is far more dangerous to human beings than marijuana.

00:08:41.160 We should listen to iron Mike Tyson.

00:08:44.660 They should take cannabis off the Schedule I drug list or deschedule it altogether.

00:08:51.600 Regulating and taxing cannabis like tomatoes makes sense and let the states take it from there. 0.66

00:08:58.580 In the meantime, President Donald Trump has issued retaliatory tariffs against Brazil over the country's mistreatment of Jair Bolsonaro,

00:09:09.020 the country's former president, who was ousted under dubious circumstances in 2023.

00:09:16.160 Trump slapped a 50% tariff on Brazil because of the lawfare waged against Bolsonaro following his questionable defeat at the hands of Luis Ignacio Lula da Silva,

00:09:31.420 a criminal who was convicted of corruption, but who the politicized Brazilian Supreme Court ruled through a change in law would be allowed to run for president again.

00:09:48.460 Interestingly, Bolsonaro won re-election in every region of the country except for the capital region where we are expected to believe that Lula ran up such a margin that Bolsonaro was defeated.

00:10:05.980 The moves against Bolsonaro mirror the effort that happened to Donald Trump in the 2020 election.

00:10:12.600 They accused Bolsonaro of planning a coup, even though no such coup took place.

00:10:18.860 He'd also been accused of money laundering, altering public health records, and inciting a riot.

00:10:25.240 Even though he's never been convicted of any crime, Bolsonaro was already banned for running for president in the upcoming election.

00:10:34.500 They've also restricted his movements, denying him a visa.

00:10:38.260 They're throwing everything at the wall they can against Bolsonaro, hoping it sticks, trying to set a harsh example so that nobody will run against the authoritarian, socialist, and epically corrupt government of President Lula.

00:10:57.600 President Trump is now stepping in to make sure that doesn't happen.

00:11:02.100 In a letter issued to the Brazilian president, Trump also cited hundreds of secret and unlawful censorship edicts handed out to U.S. social media platforms.

00:11:32.080 As the Brazilian courts attempt an Orwellian tyranny to prevent a discussion of anything that I just said.

00:11:41.220 If you live in Brazil and you don't agree with the government and you think Bolsonaro is being unfairly treated, you're not allowed to say that.

00:11:50.840 As the president wrote, as you're aware, there will be no tariff if Brazil or companies within your country decide to build or manufacture products within the United States.

00:12:02.360 And in fact, we'll do everything possible to get approvals as quickly, professionally, routinely as possible in a matter of weeks.

00:12:10.200 The Brazilian president promised retaliation.

00:12:11.840 Brazil is a sovereign nation with independent institutions, will accept being taken granted.

00:12:19.060 My strong advice to President Lula is don't test Donald Trump.

00:12:25.740 The man has ice water in his veins.

00:12:28.400 He is the toughest negotiator in American political history because he brings the skills and courage of a businessman to the arena of international politics.

00:12:42.160 Jair Bolsonaro was cheated out of the presidency and he has a friend in Donald Trump.

00:12:48.220 If the Brazilians think that they are going to continue their trend towards globalism, corruption, and tyranny, well, they're going to have problems with the Trump administration.

00:13:04.980 You're listening to The Stone Zone here on the Red Apple Audio Networks.

00:13:09.260 We'll be back with another important story where Douglas Mackey, a man who simply put up a joking meme urging people to vote on a Wednesday, was actually sentenced to seven years in jail.

00:13:26.100 Don't go away.

00:13:26.940 You're listening to The Stone Zone.

00:13:28.360 I'm Roger Stone and we'll be right back.

00:13:31.940 The Stone Zone on the Red Apple Podcast Network.

00:13:35.720 And we're back.

00:14:05.720 In The Stone Zone, a social media influencer who posted edgy means in the lead-up to the 26th presidential election and was then convicted of federal elected interference as a result of his posts has now had his conviction thrown out of court for a second time.

00:14:23.960 Douglas Mackey, known popularly on X as Ricky Vaughn, posted a joking meme urging Hillary Clinton voters to vote from home by texting a certain number.

00:14:34.920 In the frenzied hysteria following President Trump's earth-shattering victory against Hillary Clinton in 2016, the deep state needed to find scapegoats and Mackey was one of them, as it was argued that the obvious joke he posted constituted some sort of election interference plot.

00:14:52.920 I went and checked, I went and checked, I went and checked and I could find at least nine similar posts urging people to vote for Donald Trump on Wednesday, the day after the election.

00:15:04.640 Of course, none of those people were indicted.

00:15:07.440 They even tried to imply somehow that Douglas Mackey had been employed by the Russians.

00:15:15.860 Russia, Russia, Russia.

00:15:17.640 What a joke.

00:15:18.200 They waited until Biden took office to charge Mackey with conspiracy to injure, oppress, threaten, and intimidate persons in the free exercise and enjoyment of the right to vote.

00:15:31.320 He would be found guilty of the crime in 2023, and he was sentenced to seven months in prison.

00:15:37.760 Listen, U.S. Attorney Breon Peace said that Mackey weaponized disinformation in a dangerous scheme to stop targeted groups, including black and brown people and women, from participating in our democracy.

00:15:52.480 But what about all those people who did almost the exact same thing in their urging folks to vote for, against Donald, or pardon me, vote for Donald Trump on a misleding election day?

00:16:04.500 Why were none of them charged?

00:16:07.000 This is, once again, the two-tiered justice system, folks.

00:16:10.760 The sentencing judge in Mackey's case said it was, that he was one of the leading members of a conspiracy that was nothing short of an assault on its democracy.

00:16:21.140 These deranged statements showed that the deck was stacked against Mackey, from the start, and how deep state hacks hate freedom of speech or are at war with the First Amendment of the Constitution.

00:16:35.000 Also shows, by the way, that they can't take a joke.

00:16:38.640 But after the decision from the Second Circuit Court of Appeals, Mackey's case has been officially thrown out for lack of evidence.

00:16:46.540 The case has been remanded to the district courts, who will be immediately dismissed.

00:16:51.140 Mackey posted his response on X yesterday, where he said, thank God I can finally get my guns back.

00:16:59.280 You see, when you're convicted of a crime, you can no longer own a firearm.

00:17:04.080 Senator Eric Schmidt of Missouri is calling for the Biden DOJ to find out who was behind bringing this case against Mackey and have them severely reprimanded.

00:17:15.400 Senator Schmidt said, the DOJ should investigate who in the Department of Justice was responsible for bringing and prosecuting a frivolous case like this and take whatever action is necessary to ensure that a miscarriage of justice like this does not happen again.

00:17:32.900 Mackey, for his part, intends to sue the DOJ.

00:17:37.860 I say all power to him.

00:17:40.060 I'm Roger Stone.

00:17:41.160 This is the Stone Zone.

00:17:42.580 Whatever you do, don't touch that dial because we'll be right back.

00:17:46.900 The Stone Zone on the Red Apple Podcast Network.

00:17:53.500 The Stone Zone, entertaining and informative.

00:17:57.680 On the Red Apple Podcast Network.

00:17:59.580 Welcome back.

00:18:01.840 You're back in the Stone Zone.

00:18:03.660 Well, six Secret Service agents have now been suspended over their dereliction of duty during a rally in Butler, Pennsylvania, nearly one year ago, where President Trump was shot in the ear by an assassin's bullet.

00:18:19.360 The president nearly avoided being shot in the head.

00:18:24.020 Coincidental that CNN, that never covered any of Trump's campaign rallies, not only covered the CNN, not only covered the Butler, Pennsylvania rally, but they had a very special slow motion camera that they brought for the occasion.

00:18:43.840 Kind of reminds me of how they just happened to be outside my front door the morning, 29 heavily armed FBI agents brandished.

00:18:54.220 Fully automatic M4 assault weapons wearing full SWAT gear, including night goggles, surrounded and stormed my home to arrest me for the first time nonviolent crime of allegedly lying to Congress.

00:19:10.900 CNN just happened to be in Butler.

00:19:15.220 What were they hoping to capture on videotape?

00:19:18.980 Yes, it was July 13th, 2024, when gunman Thomas Matthew Crooks, allegedly, climbed up to the roof of a building close to where President Trump was speaking.

00:19:31.040 He fired eight shots with an AR-15 rifle, and only by the grace of God did he not kill President Donald Trump, as Secret Service agents essentially just looked on, apparently willing to let it happen before killing the gunman.

00:19:49.540 There is the key point, the counter-sniper had crooks, or whoever the man who shot Trump was, in his sights.

00:20:00.800 The Secret Service regulations and manual would require him to kill a man pointing a gun at the President of the United States, but the counter-sniper waited until the shooter got off eight rounds before taking him out. 0.91

00:20:19.740 An independent review of the Department of Homeland Security after the fact chronicled the many mishaps and failures that Secret Service and law enforcement committed that day in order for Trump to be nearly executed by a mad leftist gunman.

00:20:41.400 There are so many anomalies here, they're hard to understand.

00:20:45.580 The Secret Service, the State Police, and the local police were all on different radio frequencies, so they couldn't communicate with each other.

00:20:57.720 But the Secret Service knew that there was a man with a gun who had been seen with a rangefinder inside the perimeter of the Trump event for 92 minutes,

00:21:10.560 and nobody informed President Trump's initial direct Secret Service protection detail.

00:21:19.360 Under the Secret Service manual, President Trump should have been evacuated from the scene the instant there knew that a man with a gun had penetrated the perimeter of the event.

00:21:31.720 The review by the Department of Homeland Security stated that the Secret Service does not perform at the elite level needed to discharge its critical mission.

00:21:42.160 The Secret Service has become a bureaucratic, complacent, and static, even though risks have multiplied and technology has evolved.

00:21:52.740 The local police offered twice to conduct a drone surveillance of the entire area, and twice the Secret Service declined, saying they had it under control.

00:22:08.060 Then, when the Secret Service tried to conduct a drone surveillance of the area, they learned that they didn't know how to operate the new program that the Secret Service had acquired,

00:22:23.900 and they ended up calling an 800 number of customer assistance from the company who built the drone surveillance system.

00:22:32.880 That is incompetence and extraordinarily dangerous.

00:22:38.340 Secret Service director Kimberly Cheadle was the sacrificial lamb at the time. 0.72

00:22:44.160 She resigned 10 days after the assassination attempt.

00:22:47.860 But the bizarre circumstances suggested the entire ordeal may have been more than just routine government incompetence, in my opinion.

00:22:58.100 Trump may have been set up to be assassinated that day, as the Secret Service lapses, in my view, quite possibly could have been deliberate.

00:23:08.800 The whole thing is a comedy of errors.

00:23:11.600 A Senate report listed that comedy of errors that happened on the day of Trump's attempted assassination.

00:23:18.520 Counter snipers were not equipped with workable radios.

00:23:21.820 Visual barriers were not erected around the rally to block the Sessions' potential view of Trump.

00:23:29.900 It showed an elevated risk once the shooter was identified.

00:23:34.580 Secret Service agents were not made aware of the suspicious person before the shooting,

00:23:39.720 although many rally attenders saw the shooter climbing to the roof of the building and yelled to the Secret Service that there was a man on a roof with a gun.

00:23:53.900 Still, the Secret Service did nothing.

00:23:56.980 Those are just some of the incredible errors that occurred that day.

00:24:01.580 But then there are events that took place after the attempted assassination.

00:24:06.100 Why would they hose down the roof of the building from which the alleged shooter, who they tell us is Thomas Matthew Crick's shot?

00:24:18.420 Unless, of course, they wanted to make sure that there was no DNA there to test.

00:24:24.020 Why would Crick's body be quickly cremated when there was no request from his family for such cremation?

00:24:32.280 These are just some of the anomalies and errors that occurred that day.

00:24:37.900 In many cases, incompetence is just an excuse that the government hides behind so that those who conspire are not held criminally accountable.

00:24:48.540 Suspending these six agents is a good start, but more must be done to uncover what really happened in Butler, Pennsylvania,

00:24:56.560 as well as the other incident in West Palm Beach at President Trump's golf club,

00:25:04.300 when we're told Ryan Routh, a man who was allegedly indigent, behind in his alimony payments,

00:25:14.520 behind in his rent payments, living in Hawaii,

00:25:19.160 somehow managed to fly to North Carolina, then drive to West Palm Beach,

00:25:27.360 where only yesterday two individuals were charged with selling him a gun.

00:25:34.360 Where did he get the car to drive from North Carolina with?

00:25:37.160 Who paid for his ticket to get to North Carolina from Hawaii?

00:25:41.760 I interviewed a pastor the other day, who I'm going to have on the show,

00:25:47.240 who actually met Ryan Routh.

00:25:50.180 He'll be in the Stone Zone soon.

00:25:52.540 He met Routh in Ukraine.

00:25:55.980 Got into a fight with him because the man was carrying a small American flag.

00:26:02.920 The move by the government to postpone Ryan Routh's trial

00:26:08.520 for the attempted assassination of Donald Trump indefinitely

00:26:12.240 because they say there was so much evidence they couldn't possibly ever review it all

00:26:17.560 is ludicrous, but it demonstrates to me,

00:26:21.540 and I wrote a book on the Kennedy assassination,

00:26:23.480 the man who killed Kennedy, the case against LBJ,

00:26:28.520 that there's much more going on here.

00:26:31.700 Why President Trump has not ordered a more thorough investigation

00:26:35.740 is a question I cannot answer,

00:26:38.560 but Speaker Mike Johnson should appoint a select committee

00:26:43.180 of the House of Representatives

00:26:45.100 to investigate not only the two attempted assassinations

00:26:50.480 of President Donald Trump,

00:26:52.780 but while he's at it,

00:26:54.580 he should also investigate the attempted assassination

00:26:57.640 of President Ronald Reagan.

00:27:00.440 I applaud the president for ordering full disclosure

00:27:05.020 and ordering the National Archives

00:27:08.700 to turn over all of the documents, audios, videos, transcripts

00:27:15.740 regarding the assassination of President John F. Kennedy,

00:27:20.100 the assassination of New York Senator Robert F. Kennedy,

00:27:24.980 and the assassination of Dr. Martin Luther King.

00:27:28.880 But the government has never released a report

00:27:33.260 on the attempted assassination of Ronald Reagan.

00:27:38.780 All we have is a statement from Vice President George Bush

00:27:43.460 that the matter was thoroughly investigated

00:27:46.160 and that no conspiracy was found,

00:27:50.040 and that the shooter, John Hinckley Jr., acted alone.

00:27:56.620 There's a real problem with that

00:27:58.720 because Hinckley, who was crouching in front of Reagan,

00:28:04.940 shooting from an upward trajectory,

00:28:08.820 got off either four or six bullets.

00:28:13.060 You can't tell which is correct

00:28:14.780 because all of the documents that I have gotten

00:28:18.400 from the government through a Freedom of Information Act

00:28:21.560 are very broadly redacted.

00:28:24.260 Some witnesses insist there were four shots.

00:28:27.060 Others insist there were six.

00:28:29.080 But either way, all of the shots by Hinckley are accounted for.

00:28:35.080 One of them hit James Brady, the press secretary.

00:28:38.560 One of them hit a D.C. police officer.

00:28:43.380 Another one hit a Secret Service agent.

00:28:45.660 But Ronald Reagan was shot from above and behind.

00:28:52.780 I know that because I interviewed the doctors

00:28:56.060 at George Washington Hospital

00:28:58.560 for an upcoming book that I'm writing

00:29:00.900 about the Reagan assassination.

00:29:04.500 So it's time for us to have a much deeper investigation

00:29:09.140 of the events surrounding Reagan's assassination.

00:29:14.220 Here's another strange anomaly.

00:29:17.680 We're told that John Hinckley Sr.

00:29:21.220 was a friend and supporter of Vice President George Bush.

00:29:26.020 But what we haven't been told is that John Hinckley Sr.,

00:29:29.920 father of the alleged assassin John Hinckley Jr.,

00:29:33.920 had his oil company Vanderbilt Energy bailed out

00:29:40.540 by George H.W. Bush's energy company Zapata Oil in the 1960s.

00:29:49.260 Zapata is widely believed to be a CIA front.

00:29:54.640 They had offshore oil drilling platforms

00:29:58.020 that were being used by the agency for other purposes.

00:30:01.640 But here's the other strange part.

00:30:04.680 John Hinckley Sr., the father of the alleged assassination,

00:30:11.700 attempted assassin John Hinckley Jr.,

00:30:16.300 had a contract with the Department of Defense

00:30:20.120 for these what are described as refugee camps around the world.

00:30:26.340 I think there's a much higher probability

00:30:29.380 that these were training camps operated by our intelligence agencies.

00:30:34.860 And I will prove in my upcoming book

00:30:37.900 that the camp that was located in Laos

00:30:41.840 was visited not only by John Hinckley Jr.,

00:30:46.340 but also by Mark David Chapman,

00:30:50.060 the man convicted of shooting and killing

00:30:52.980 Beatle John Lennon.

00:30:55.960 Coincidence?

00:30:57.460 I think not.

00:30:59.480 Meanwhile, a reboot of the movie Superman

00:31:03.560 debuts in theaters this weekend,

00:31:06.200 and the directors of the movie

00:31:07.780 have apparently forgotten the axiom

00:31:10.300 go woke, go broke,

00:31:12.720 because they are openly concluding

00:31:15.000 the movie's woke agenda.

00:31:17.240 And nothing can ever match

00:31:19.860 the Superman television series

00:31:22.360 that featured George Reeves,

00:31:25.560 a brother of one of the earliest

00:31:27.400 professional bodybuilders, Steve Reeves.

00:31:31.500 Superman director James Gunn

00:31:33.540 made it clear that the movie

00:31:34.920 will be pushing a political agenda.

00:31:37.100 He said,

00:31:37.900 Superman is the story of America,

00:31:40.020 an immigrant that came from other places

00:31:41.780 and populated the country.

00:31:43.640 For me, it's mostly a story that says

00:31:46.420 basic humankindness is a value

00:31:49.260 and something we have lost.

00:31:52.100 The director's brother, James Gunn,

00:31:54.360 who appears in the movie,

00:31:55.300 doubled down on this movie's woke message.

00:31:59.580 He said,

00:32:00.480 we support our people, you know,

00:32:01.900 we love our immigrants.

00:32:03.520 Yes, Superman was an immigrant.

00:32:05.500 Well, yes, from the planet Krypton, I guess.

00:32:08.280 And the people that we support

00:32:09.800 in this community are immigrants,

00:32:11.140 and if you don't like it,

00:32:12.580 then you're not American.

00:32:14.140 People who say no to immigrants

00:32:17.420 are against the American way.

00:32:19.620 Here's the sickest part.

00:32:22.220 You remember the slogan

00:32:23.720 that Superman stood for truth,

00:32:26.640 justice, and the American way.

00:32:28.920 But in this new movie,

00:32:31.240 that slogan has been changed

00:32:33.700 to peace, justice, and the human race.

00:32:37.840 I'm sorry, but that's sick.

00:32:41.080 I prefer the TV series

00:32:44.400 that featured George Reeves.

00:32:47.740 I always loved the guy

00:32:49.580 who played Perry White,

00:32:51.720 the editor of the great

00:32:52.980 metropolitan newspaper,

00:32:54.920 The Daily Planet,

00:32:56.320 whose favorite slogan was,

00:32:58.700 Great Caesar's Ghost.

00:33:01.160 God, I missed that series.

00:33:02.540 It was great.

00:33:03.160 Now we have the politically correct version

00:33:07.520 of Superman

00:33:08.520 that's going to crash and burn

00:33:11.780 at the box office,

00:33:13.120 in my opinion.

00:33:15.160 You're tuned in to the Stone Zone

00:33:17.660 on the Red Apple Audio Networks.

00:33:20.700 I'm Roger Stone,

00:33:22.840 and we'll be back with more political news.

00:33:26.440 So stay with us in the zone,

00:33:28.960 and please, please,

00:33:30.660 don't touch that dial.

00:33:31.780 This is the Stone Zone

00:33:33.960 with Roger Stone.

00:33:43.940 The Stone Zone

00:33:45.560 on the Red Apple Podcast Network.

00:33:49.680 I have great respect for Elon Musk.

00:33:53.340 I respect what he's done for free speech.

00:33:55.880 He restored my free speech rights

00:33:57.560 when he bought Twitter

00:33:59.040 and rebranded as X.

00:34:01.860 I was banned in 2017.

00:34:04.560 They never really told me

00:34:06.080 why I was banned. 1.00

00:34:07.740 Probably something stupid 0.99

00:34:08.820 that I posted. 0.98

00:34:10.040 But one day,

00:34:11.060 I woke up,

00:34:11.700 and my Twitter feed

00:34:13.160 was just gone.

00:34:14.140 No email,

00:34:15.060 no notification,

00:34:16.280 no appeals process.

00:34:18.560 I think it was because

00:34:19.360 I was a supporter

00:34:20.520 of Donald Trump,

00:34:22.060 and I think I may have hurt

00:34:23.200 Jake Tapper's feelings

00:34:24.540 in one of my tweets.

00:34:26.560 I also respect the fact

00:34:28.680 that Musk had the courage

00:34:30.560 to turn over the Twitter records

00:34:32.460 that proved

00:34:33.300 that Twitter executives

00:34:34.760 were working hand-in-glove

00:34:36.980 with the intelligence agencies

00:34:39.440 to censor those

00:34:41.360 who questioned the 2020 election,

00:34:43.320 or censor those

00:34:44.640 who questioned

00:34:45.320 the effectiveness and safety

00:34:46.840 of the COVID-19 vaccination,

00:34:49.100 or those who questioned

00:34:50.980 whether Hunter Biden's laptop

00:34:55.520 was real.

00:34:57.320 It was.

00:34:58.320 51 current or former

00:35:01.840 intelligence agencies

00:35:03.080 insisted it was

00:35:04.500 Russian disinformation

00:35:06.140 thanks to courageous journalist

00:35:08.300 Miranda Devine

00:35:10.040 at the New York Post.

00:35:11.800 We found out otherwise,

00:35:13.940 but then the New York Post

00:35:15.240 itself was censored.

00:35:17.060 I also respect Elon

00:35:19.400 for a very aggressive effort

00:35:22.520 to uncover

00:35:23.460 not just millions,

00:35:25.880 not billions,

00:35:26.800 but trillions of dollars

00:35:28.860 of waste, fraud,

00:35:31.640 and abuse

00:35:32.240 in our federal spending.

00:35:34.080 But I think he is misguided

00:35:35.960 in his effort

00:35:37.120 to form a third party.

00:35:40.020 He's now evidently

00:35:40.980 taking advice

00:35:41.880 from a kind of eccentric

00:35:44.020 right-wing thinker,

00:35:45.200 a fellow named Curtis Yarvin,

00:35:47.060 on the formation

00:35:48.480 of his new American party.

00:35:51.400 Yarvin is a heterodox thinker

00:35:54.460 whose beliefs

00:35:55.220 have gained interest

00:35:56.220 from big tech figures.

00:35:57.800 He supports a re-imaging

00:35:59.720 of the American Republic,

00:36:01.120 preferring a monarchy,

00:36:03.620 where the chief executive

00:36:04.900 will essentially be

00:36:05.880 CEO of the country,

00:36:07.500 be able to operate

00:36:08.300 with a great deal

00:36:09.120 more autonomy,

00:36:10.720 because I believe

00:36:13.480 that Mr. Yarvin

00:36:14.520 would do away

00:36:15.240 and would do away

00:36:15.260 with the Congress.

00:36:17.500 Unsurprisingly,

00:36:18.280 Yarvin has been pilloried

00:36:19.360 as a fascist

00:36:20.320 and authoritarian

00:36:21.440 by some in the media.

00:36:23.040 I'm not sure

00:36:23.480 that that's fair.

00:36:25.140 But I think Elon Musk

00:36:26.800 really underestimates

00:36:28.460 the potential

00:36:29.600 for a third party.

00:36:30.860 Remember,

00:36:31.780 President Donald Trump

00:36:33.480 explored running

00:36:35.500 as the Reform Party

00:36:37.180 candidate in 2000

00:36:40.300 when his good friend,

00:36:43.160 billionaire Ross Perot,

00:36:45.860 urged him to consider

00:36:47.760 the Reform Party nomination.

00:36:49.920 He spent about

00:36:50.460 $2 million.

00:36:51.640 I was the chairman

00:36:52.880 of his exploratory committee

00:36:54.540 at the time,

00:36:55.760 and we explored

00:36:56.880 getting on the ballot

00:36:59.040 in the states

00:37:02.380 where we were

00:37:03.060 not on the ballot.

00:37:05.580 And he ultimately decided,

00:37:07.860 I think,

00:37:08.560 correctly,

00:37:10.020 that one could only win

00:37:12.480 as either a Republican

00:37:15.180 or a Democrat.

00:37:18.780 I think that was

00:37:20.040 a wise decision.

00:37:25.680 In this case,

00:37:27.400 I frankly think

00:37:28.580 that Elon Musk

00:37:29.960 would be much,

00:37:31.040 much better served

00:37:32.960 to spend his money

00:37:36.620 and his efforts

00:37:37.440 within the Republican

00:37:38.780 Party primaries.

00:37:41.300 In other words,

00:37:42.740 to challenge

00:37:43.820 the RINOs

00:37:44.940 and those who refuse

00:37:46.120 to do anything

00:37:47.080 about spending,

00:37:49.400 about the debt,

00:37:51.960 about the deficit.

00:37:53.680 It would be

00:37:54.540 far more productive.

00:37:56.620 I think that Elon Musk

00:37:57.860 is going to find it

00:37:58.800 very difficult

00:37:59.880 to get on the party.

00:38:02.780 I'm Roger Stone.
