00:00:00.460 The Stone Zone, entertaining and informative on the Red Apple Podcast Network.
00:00:07.240 You are now entering the Stone Zone.
00:00:10.340 Well, reports have indicated that embattled Federal Reserve Chief Jerome Powell,
00:00:15.420 it may be about to be fired from his position by President Donald Trump.
00:00:20.000 Powell is, of course, steadily refused to cut interest rates on the American people,
00:00:24.480 despite the fact that both inflation and unemployment are lower today than they were the last time Powell cut rates.
00:00:34.940 It was, or I should say, the Fed cut rates.
00:00:37.480 Pretty clear that the Fed cut rates to try to help the Democrat nominee get reelected in the last presidential election.
00:00:44.480 So this decision would be a long time coming as Powell has played political games with interest rates by keeping them artificially high.
00:00:51.620 Frankly, I think it's because he wants to hurt President Trump's economic agenda.
00:00:57.280 There is a significant legal question as to whether the president has the authority to fire Powell
00:01:04.480 or whether he has to wait till Powell's term as chairman and as a governor expires early next year.
00:01:11.820 But meanwhile, the American consumers are suffering.
00:01:15.320 If you look at Powell's record, it's clear that there's zero consistency.
00:01:18.860 The unemployment rate currently at 4.2 percent is at the same level it was when the Fed was comfortable cutting rates
00:01:26.920 by 50 basis points on September 18th of last year and again by 25 basis points on December 18th.
00:01:34.960 An additional rate cut on November 7th occurred with the unemployment rate just slightly below today's level.
00:01:41.580 The rate of inflation during these cuts were either at the same level or higher than the current inflation rate as well.
00:01:48.480 So it's clear that it's not President Trump playing politics with the Fed.
00:01:53.160 It is Chairman Powell.
00:01:55.400 Additionally, the chairman, Jerome Powell, has been plagued by a spending scandal.
00:02:01.140 Federal Housing and Finance Agency Director Bill Pulties actually called on Powell to be investigated
00:02:06.400 for apparently lying while giving testimony to the United Senate about an astronomical $2.5 billion spent to renovate
00:02:17.240 the palatial headquarters of the Federal Reserve in Washington, D.C.
00:02:21.800 Specifically, Powell said that the renovation plan included no new private elevators for the Fed board governors
00:02:30.140 and no private dining room.
00:02:32.560 He specifically said no more marble, no more fountains, no roof garden.
00:02:37.120 But the plan approved for this $2.5 billion renovation has all those things in it.
00:02:44.000 Senator Cynthia Loomis of Wyoming believes Powell lied before Congress,
00:02:48.720 and he desperately now is trying to wiggle out of that responsibility.
00:02:52.280 He's called for an inspector general's investigation of the plan.
00:02:55.940 All that's going to do is confirm everything I've told you about the plan.
00:03:01.580 The clamor for Powell to be fired is much deserved.
00:03:04.480 President Trump spoke about it today, said it's highly unlikely that he will fire Powell
00:03:08.860 unless he has to leave for reasons of fraud.
00:03:12.380 Again, I think there is a substantial legal question about whether the president has the authority to fire Powell,
00:03:19.160 but a master of public relations, he is increasing the pressure on Powell to resign,
00:03:26.460 although were he to be charged for lying to Congress on a material matter,
00:03:33.020 remember I was charged with lying to Congress,
00:03:35.220 but Robert Mueller later was forced to admit in his final secret long redacted report
00:03:41.420 that he'd actually found no evidence of Russian collusion,
00:03:44.360 WikiLeaks collaboration, or any other wrongdoing on my part.
00:03:46.960 So I was basically framed, even though no misstatement I made was material.
00:03:51.920 In this case, Chairman Powell has lied about the taxpayers' money,
00:03:56.300 and it is very, very material.
00:03:59.540 I don't think the president will ultimately fire him because of the legal cloudiness of his authority to do so,
00:04:05.420 but I hear that Powell looks exhausted, and his office late last week when we contacted him
00:04:11.740 would not give us a statement confirming that he had no intention of resigning.
00:04:15.140 So we shall see.
00:04:16.960 I've also confirmed from my sources that the massive deep state probe that we've been waiting many years for
00:04:23.400 could be announced as soon as this week.
00:04:27.020 The Justice Department and the FBI are working on a massive case
00:04:30.660 that's going to make the MAGA base very happy with this substantial move towards accountability.
00:04:35.300 The Trump administration is looking to prosecute based on the genesis of the Russia gay scandal
00:04:42.020 and the conspiracy to undermine President Donald Trump that began even before he won the 2016 election.
00:04:49.740 We now know definitively that the plan to get Trump evolved from an Oval Office meeting with Barack Obama,
00:05:00.600 Vice President Joe Biden, National Security Advisor Susan Rice, FBI Director James Comey, CIA Director John Brennan.
00:05:09.820 They had no evidence, so they had to fabricate it, and they did so in two manners.
00:05:17.040 One, the Steele dossier, which they knew was a fraud, paid for by Hillary Clinton's campaign
00:05:22.820 and discounted by the intelligence analysts at the CIA, as we now know as not reliable.
00:05:31.320 But John Brennan, according to a CIA report released just last week, insisted on including it in President Obama's intelligence briefing
00:05:40.260 so it could then be used as the rationale to launch Operation Crossfire Hurricane.
00:05:46.400 That was the FBI's counterintelligence operation, which was really meant to frame Donald Trump for colluding with Russia
00:05:54.820 when there was no Russian collusion.
00:05:57.060 And then the other fraudulent claim that the Democrat National Committee was hacked by Russian intelligence.
00:06:03.060 That was invented by John Brennan.
00:06:04.900 They have never produced any actual forensic online evidence to sustain that claim.
00:06:11.540 They admit the FBI never investigated the computer servers at the Democrat National Committee,
00:06:18.040 and they relied entirely on a third-party IT company called CrowdStrikes.
00:06:24.860 At the time I went to trial, the CrowdStrikes report to the DNC was sealed, and my lawyers were not allowed to see it.
00:06:31.560 But CrowdStrikes' CEO, Sean Henry, who just coincidentally happened to be a former assistant of Robert Mueller's at the FBI,
00:06:39.760 testified under oath to the House Intelligence Committee that he had no evidence whatsoever
00:06:43.820 that the Russians hacked the Democrat National Committee.
00:06:47.560 I wanted to call Bill Binney, the former CIA counterterrorism IT chief,
00:06:53.900 who would have testified that the download speeds of the download of the data from the DNC and the Clinton campaign
00:07:02.820 indicated that it could not have been the product of an online hack,
00:07:06.420 that it had to have been downloaded to some kind of portable drive and taken out the back door.
00:07:12.520 So it appears to me that in the greatest single dirty trick in American political history,
00:07:19.220 a massive abuse of power in which the full authority of the United States government
00:07:24.740 and the high technology and incredible capability of our intelligence agencies were weaponized,
00:07:32.120 utilizing two pieces of what they knew were fraudulent evidence,
00:07:35.300 to try to remove a duly elected president.
00:07:38.620 The Trump administration is looking to prosecute based on this genesis of this conspiracy to undermine the president.
00:07:45.080 A special prosecutor may also be in the works, according to my sources.
00:07:49.040 Because the crime happened to the entire nation,
00:07:52.080 the grand jury or the diamond does not necessarily have to be brought in the Washington, D.C. swamp,
00:07:57.300 where, frankly, I don't think that any kind of fair trial can be conducted,
00:08:02.600 where you're certain to get a radical leftist Trump-hating judge.
00:08:06.220 I've experienced that firsthand.
00:08:08.580 And to get a stacked jury of partisan Democrats.
00:08:13.940 Congressman James Comer of Kentucky, chairman of the House Oversight Committee,
00:08:17.460 has stated that there's an additional scandal here, and that is going on at the same time.
00:08:25.120 That is President Biden's lack of cognitive fitness and the use of his auto pen as a lame duck,
00:08:30.720 essentially nullifies the pardons that were given to a number of the Russia collusion, hoax, planners, and burps.
00:08:40.500 So I don't think that legal defense is going to work.
00:08:43.800 So while many are focused on the Epstein files, and to be clear,
00:08:47.780 I believe that those should all be released as quickly as possible.
00:08:50.180 Later on, we're going to interview Nick Bryant, the first journalist in the country to undercover the Epstein scandal.
00:09:00.040 And the fastest way to do that, again, I've urged President Donald Trump to instruct the Attorney General,
00:09:07.080 Pam Bondi, to instruct the interim U.S. Attorney for the Southern District of New York
00:09:11.900 to make a motion in federal court immediately to unseal the grand jury testimony
00:09:18.800 and the search warrants of Jeffrey Epstein's 2019 charges by the Trump Justice Department.
00:09:27.800 One count of child sex trafficking, one count of conspiracy to engage in child sex trafficking.
00:09:36.320 One cannot be in a conspiracy by themselves.
00:09:38.900 Conspiracy, by definition, has to include multiple people.
00:09:43.220 So I hope the president will do that because we do need full disclosure.
00:09:49.280 I remain confident the president will fulfill his mandate to defeat the state,
00:09:53.980 and we will not get distracted by this issue when there are larger issues.
00:10:00.200 I'm not saying this is unimportant.
00:10:01.560 I want full disclosure, and I want justice for the victims.
00:10:04.980 We're going to talk about that with Nick Bryant, the journalist who broke the Epstein story, coming right up.
00:10:11.980 In the meantime, J.P. Morgan's CEO, Jamie Dimon, has called out the woke Democrats.
00:10:17.000 Dimon, who I believe is a Democrat, slammed the Democrats while speaking at a foreign ministry this week in Dublin.
00:10:23.300 Dimon said, I have a lot of friends who are Democrats today, and they're idiots.
00:10:26.680 I always say they have big hearts and little brains.
00:10:29.120 I do not understand how the real world works.
00:10:31.440 Almost every single policy they have rolled out has failed.
00:10:36.040 Dimon, I think, is speaking in common sense.
00:10:38.400 His comments are emblematic of the corporate elite's increased abandonment of the Democrat Party.
00:10:43.580 Also, Mr. Dimon may have come to the shocking realization that the election of a Zoran Mamdani in New York City will not be good for business.
00:10:53.540 In fact, Mr. Dimon just built a beautiful new corporate headquarters in Manhattan.
00:10:59.700 But I wonder what Manhattan will be like when we defund the police, we do away with cash bail.
00:11:05.220 And Mamdani has said that violence is a social construct, implying that he would open the doors at Rikers Island and let all these people back into the public, all of these criminals.
00:11:16.200 So I think this may explain Mr. Jamie Dimon's sudden statement of the truth.
00:11:22.660 Many elites supported the Democrats for years, and they placated these extremists within their midst.
00:11:28.120 And now the monster that they helped create is out of control.
00:11:32.480 Sensible, common sense Democrats are abandoning ship and seeking comfort in the greener pastures of the MAGA movement.
00:11:38.920 So without a shadow of a doubt, Dimon and J.P. Morgan had their hands in the banking crisis that led to the market crash in 2008 and hurt Americans immeasurably.
00:11:48.480 Dimon does not deserve to be absolved for his sins, in my opinion.
00:11:52.220 But if he's willing to come aboard the America First cause legitimately, I guess he should be applauded for doing so.
00:11:58.900 MAGA is, after all, not Occupy Wall Street or Black Lives Matter.
00:12:03.000 We in the America First movement do not want to see our institutions obliterated.
00:12:07.260 We do not want to see an end to the capitalist system by any stretch of the imagination.
00:12:12.340 So I welcome Jamie Dimon and J.P. Morgan, if they're willing to cede to common sense reforms,
00:12:17.520 help the people on Main Street by booting illegals and restoring well-paying jobs to the American people.
00:12:24.840 This is something we should welcome, while, of course, maintaining a healthy skepticism about our new shipmates.
00:12:32.360 I'm Roger Stone.
00:12:33.800 You're listening to The Stone Zone.
00:12:35.580 Coming up, a guy who's never gotten the credit that I think he deserves, Nick Bryant, broke the Jeffrey Epstein story.
00:12:43.840 He is an independent journalist working freelance.
00:12:47.040 He obtained Epstein's little black book.
00:12:49.560 He's going to tell us about some very strange notations in the book.
00:12:53.360 But nobody would print this story until Gawker, now out of business, agreed to publish a story which began the public's knowledge of Jeffrey Epstein.
00:13:03.820 Nick Bryant has also written the single best book about Watergate.
00:13:07.980 It's called The Truth About Watergate, A Tale of Extraordinary Lies and Liars.
00:13:11.840 He's a brilliant investigative journalist.
00:13:15.900 He knows the Epstein scandal inside and out.
00:13:19.120 And Nick Bryant will be along here in a moment to help us parse through what's happening today
00:13:24.020 and what exactly some folks may be covering up.
00:13:28.580 I'm Roger Stone.
00:13:29.480 You're in The Stone Zone.

00:14:12.620 Welcome back in The Stone Zone.
00:14:14.820 A stunning new report from White Collar Fraud shows that contrary to their claims,
00:14:19.800 out-of-state millionaires and billionaires are the ones who fueled the rise of far-left socialist Zoran Mamdami.
00:14:26.220 This morning on The Sid Rosenberg Show, when I was speaking to John Katsimatidis,
00:14:30.340 I referred to him as the Ayatollah.
00:14:32.220 That's what I call him now.
00:14:33.240 But his entire narrative that his campaign is a people-fueled revolution against a corrupted system
00:14:40.520 is disproved by his filings at the New York Elections Board, at least his initial filings.
00:14:46.760 Entities such as the Working Families Party National PAC and New Yorkers for Lower Cost PAC
00:14:50.720 funneled millions of dollars into Mamdami's efforts because these PACs were listed as independent.
00:14:56.120 This is not allowed to coordinate with Mamdami's campaign, which they've clearly done.
00:15:02.400 Mamdami now continues to masquerade as the people's champion and an outsider,
00:15:07.040 otherwise soaking up cash from the ultra-rich.
00:15:10.820 It was believed that these actions could fight in New York City's campaign finance laws because coordination between party endorsements and PACs are illegal.
00:15:18.940 It turns out there really is no grassroots groundswell for Mamdami who took over New York City, at least not financially.
00:15:24.040 Mamdami's campaign is threatening to sue Sam Antar, the investigative fraud expert and journalist,
00:15:31.400 for revealing that in their initial filings they showed no small contributions and that 1.6 of the 1.7 million dollars they raised came from wealthy bundlers,
00:15:42.920 people who lived in places like Malibu and Beverly Hills and Greenwich, Connecticut.
00:15:48.940 Not the working stiffs that were told were financing Mamdami's campaign.
00:15:53.880 Initially, it showed no small contributions.
00:15:55.620 Then overnight, on the New York City Campaign Finance Board's website, the largest bundler disappeared completely,
00:16:03.860 and suddenly we had a slew of small contributions from Mr. Mamdami.
00:16:07.760 Mamdami has threatened to sue Sam Antar, the editor and publisher of whitecollarfraud.com.
00:16:13.780 I contacted him for comment.
00:16:15.360 He said, bring it.
00:16:16.360 I have all the receipts.
00:16:18.180 This is just getting spicy now.
00:16:20.580 But there's no question that Mamdami's policies, taxing white people, he said it, not me,
00:16:28.940 defunding the police, doing away with cash bail, raising taxes across the board, that is a toxic mix.
00:16:37.440 That is a formula for disaster.
00:16:40.540 Whether New York can avoid that, I don't know.
00:16:42.560 A poll I saw this morning showed the history challengers, former Governor Andrew Cuomo,
00:16:47.000 former radio host and head of the Guardian Angels, Curtis Asliwa, and former Mayor Eric Adams,
00:16:54.060 all had unfavorable ratings in the 30s.
00:16:56.940 Adams was the highest at 37.
00:16:59.580 It's not surprising for Curtis.
00:17:01.600 He's taken some controversial positions with a career on radio.
00:17:04.800 And, of course, Andrew Cuomo has the Me Too scandal following around.
00:17:08.580 Mamdami's unfavorable rating was only 32,
00:17:10.600 which means enough New Yorkers have not focused on the actual impact his policies could have on the Big Apple.
00:17:18.080 So this is a story we will be continuing to cover.
00:17:21.900 The Ayatollah is now the face of the Democrat Party, along with Jasmine Crockett and AOC.
00:17:28.320 I predict it right now, yet again, if AOC challenges Chuck Schumer in the Democrat U.S. Senate primer in New York State,
00:17:35.820 she will defeat him.
00:17:37.360 Chuck Schumer, poor guy, is living on borrowed time.
00:17:39.800 But their party has lurched so far left that Chuck Schumer, who's a hardcore liberal, is now considered a centrist.
00:17:47.980 Don't go away.
00:17:48.640 You're listening to The Stone Zone.
00:17:50.020 I'm Roger Stone.
00:17:50.960 And we'll be right back with author Nick Bryant, the man who uncovered the Jeffrey Epstein.
00:17:55.820 Are you paying?
00:17:57.140 The Stone Zone.
00:17:58.740 Entertaining and informative.
00:18:00.900 On the Red Apple Podcast Network.
00:18:04.120 Welcome back into The Stone Zone.
00:18:06.860 Joining me now is Nick Bryant, investigative journalist and author.
00:18:10.660 Nick Bryant is literally the first reporter in the world to cover the Jeffrey Epstein scandal.
00:18:18.960 He's also written an extraordinary book on the Franklin scandal, which is often distorted.
00:18:25.960 But the Franklin scandal took place in Washington, D.C., in which children were being supplied to high-level government officials in the Bush administration.
00:18:36.520 Nick Bryant took his initial story about Jeffrey Epstein's little black book, which he was able to obtain from a source, to a number of media outlets.
00:18:49.040 I guess he was freelancing.
00:18:50.280 And nobody was interested in this incredible story about a billionaire pedophile and his very important friends until ultimately Gawker published that book.
00:19:01.040 I relied heavily on that book with attribution in my own book, The Clinton's War on Women.
00:19:08.260 Nick Bryant, what a long, strange road it's been.
00:19:10.940 Welcome to The Stone Zone.
00:19:13.420 It has indeed been a long, strange trip.
00:19:17.120 But glad to be with you, Roger.
00:19:19.700 I remember a very, very, very cold day when we were together.
00:19:23.140 We were both going to meet Steve Hoffenberg, who had been Epstein's boss at Tower Financial.
00:19:30.320 He later went to prison in an epic Ponzi scheme.
00:19:34.940 We met him after he had gotten out of prison.
00:19:38.600 He told us at the time, Jeffrey Epstein is going to be arrested for running a national pedophile ring.
00:19:46.040 I think we were both a little skeptical, but, of course, everything Hoffenberg told us turned out to be true.
00:19:53.360 He seemed to be very psychologically damaged from 18 years in prison, which is completely understandable.
00:19:59.880 So I didn't know exactly what to make of his disclosures.
00:20:05.940 This is, were you surprised when you came to all these major mainstream outlets with this blockbuster story?
00:20:13.760 This would go on to be a story that has now dominated our politics for several days.
00:20:20.640 I mean, this is a guy who died several years ago, I believe, yet the media can't seem to get enough of this story.
00:20:29.780 And I really, the real tragedy here, and I know you agree with this, is getting lost in all of this are his victims.
00:20:38.000 Justice for his victims, justice for his victims, the people he damaged, the people he assaulted, the people who, in some cases, destroyed.
00:20:48.060 Yeah, and his cronies, too.
00:20:50.760 I mean, Jeffrey Epstein was definitely trafficking these young girls to a wide range of people.
00:20:57.640 And we know that from victim testimony.
00:21:01.140 So it just wasn't Jeffrey Epstein acting alone.
00:21:04.260 He was acting in concert with several other people.
00:21:06.900 Last time I interviewed you, and I think it was because you have written a book, The Truth About Watergate,
00:21:13.540 A Tale of Extraordinary Lies and Liars, which, I must tell you, is the definitive book on Watergate.
00:21:21.660 Nick Bryant managed to take a very complicated story.
00:21:25.900 And, by the way, Nick's not a conservative.
00:21:27.600 He's not a Republican.
00:21:28.780 Neither is he a Democrat or a liberal.
00:21:30.460 He's just kind of a down-the-center investigative journalist.
00:21:33.400 His politics do not bleed into his reporting.
00:21:39.560 But he nails Watergate, which is why I had him on to talk about it.
00:21:43.840 But when we spoke at that time, we spoke about the fact that there seems to be a commonality in all of these cases,
00:21:52.420 whether it is the Epstein case, whether it is the Ghislaine's Maxwell case, whether it is the Diddy case.
00:22:00.940 The perp, the main perp gets nailed.
00:22:04.780 Epstein gets charged with conspiracy to engage in child sex trafficking, but none of his co-conspirators are ever identified.
00:22:13.380 The same with Maxwell, the same with Diddy.
00:22:17.800 And, as you pointed out, one U.S. attorney presided over all those cases.
00:22:24.240 Well, it was Damian Williams, who was the U.S. attorney that presided over the Maxwell trial.
00:22:31.100 And he made sure that only victims that were molested by Epstein or Maxwell were called.
00:22:37.500 There were four victims that were called.
00:22:39.160 And they had no knowledge of the wider network.
00:22:43.380 So he did his job there as far as containment.
00:22:46.920 And then he went on to oversee the Diddy grand jury.
00:22:50.420 And the Diddy grand jury was kind of a joke.
00:22:53.460 I mean, I knew as soon as he announced it that it was going to be a joke.
00:22:59.280 The thing about Diddy is that, and also we could say that about Epstein,
00:23:03.460 and the perpetrators for Franklin, for that matter,
00:23:06.620 what brought all these guys down, at least as far as law enforcement,
00:23:14.040 is they were getting too much media.
00:23:17.460 I believe the Franklin network was certainly about blackmail,
00:23:20.780 and the Epstein network was about blackmail.
00:23:22.880 And then we find out that there are all these hidden cameras
00:23:26.220 in Diddy's various homes.
00:23:29.440 And that's been heavily corroborated.
00:23:31.560 So I think that all three were involved in blackmail.
00:23:35.400 But with Diddy, there were five civil cases pending against him
00:23:40.020 when that grand jury was convened.
00:23:42.960 And two of those cases had been – he had trafficked minors.
00:23:49.020 And that was glossed over by Damien Williams.
00:23:54.820 And Little Rod was the fifth case, and that's when it reached critical mass
00:23:59.920 where the government said, well, we have to do something about this.
00:24:03.440 Little Rod – his name is Rodney Jones, and he's a hip-hop producer.
00:24:06.980 And he was talking about Diddy trafficking underage girls and boys
00:24:12.220 and also about his hidden cameras.
00:24:15.880 So with Epstein and also with Diddy, I believe that these are blackmailers,
00:24:22.120 and blackmailers aren't going to be very successful
00:24:24.980 when everybody knows that they've got hidden cameras.
00:24:28.060 So I think that that kind of concludes their careers as blackmailers.
00:24:33.800 As you know, there's been a lot of controversy about, quote-unquote, Epstein's list.
00:24:39.080 And I don't think there ever was like a formal list.
00:24:43.120 You were the first person to publish his little black book,
00:24:46.420 which I believe you attribute to his butler, Alfredo Rodriguez, no longer with us,
00:24:52.460 although I believe it was you who noted that he circled the name of VIPs in the book
00:24:57.780 who he thought were involved with sex with underage girls
00:25:01.380 or might be material witnesses to pedophilia.
00:25:04.760 I think there never was a list per se.
00:25:09.600 It seems to me, given all the DVDs and the hard drives removed at the time of his 2019 arrest
00:25:15.920 from Epstein's palatial home in New York, his island, Little St. James in the Virgin Islands,
00:25:23.680 from his ranch in New Mexico, and I believe also from his apartment in Paris,
00:25:29.000 that law enforcement should be able to piece together a list from watching those videos.
00:25:35.540 But those videos and those hard drives seem incredibly to have completely disappeared.
00:25:40.980 Well, the strange memo that was released by the Justice Department and the FBI last week
00:25:48.320 actually said that there were 300 gigabytes of child abuse material.
00:25:55.040 But there isn't anybody else in the child abuse material other than the children.
00:26:02.100 And that's a little, I mean, that's ludicrous, because there were definitely adults molesting these girls.
00:26:11.780 And I have no doubts that a lot of that was blackmail footage,
00:26:17.200 because all of Epstein's homes had hidden cameras.
00:26:20.920 So for the Department of Justice and the FBI to say that the over, I do agree that there were over 1,000 victims.
00:26:32.440 But for them to say that it was only Epstein that molested these over 1,000 victims,
00:26:38.980 that is very absurd.
00:26:42.700 And people are rightfully incredulous of it.
00:26:45.400 That is not the truth.
00:26:47.120 And I just wish that the Trump administration would just start telling us the truth on this.
00:26:55.200 It keeps getting, digging itself deeper, deeper into a hole.
00:27:00.360 In March, Pam Bonney said that she was going to release the quote-unquote Epstein files.
00:27:06.260 And then what she released was like a nothing sandwich.
00:27:09.900 There were no new revelations.
00:27:11.220 And as you said, I put the black book up on the Internet in 2015.
00:27:17.380 And then I saw, and with that book, we, for the adults, we redacted their numbers.
00:27:26.520 And for, and there's over 100 victims in that black book.
00:27:29.740 And we redacted their last names and their numbers.
00:27:32.860 The black book that I put up, that Bondi released 10 years later, everything was redacted.
00:27:39.500 So, I think, I don't know what was going on with the Department of Justice thinking that they could give us something that we already knew and think that it was revelatory.
00:27:57.460 That really, I think, really got the Trump administration into trouble.
00:28:03.340 And then Bondi got further into trouble.
00:28:08.060 She did say that there was a truckload of evidence.
00:28:11.280 That was her term.
00:28:13.060 And only matters related to national security would be redacted from the documents.
00:28:18.200 So, now she has to tell us what a bunch of child molesters have to do with national security.
00:28:24.660 And I think the crescendo of her mendacity was, because, as you noted, Roger, there was a lot of disks and there were hard drives taken out of Epstein's home.
00:28:39.440 Actually, the day after he was arrested, the FBI hid his home in New York almost immediately and opened up his safe.
00:28:47.620 And his safe was not the dimensions of the safe that we think about.
00:28:51.660 His safe was like the size of a closet.
00:28:55.420 And Bondi led us to believe that all that material that was taken out of Epstein's safe was being reviewed by the Department of Justice at that time.
00:29:08.560 When I have no doubt that the FBI and whatever dark, malignant corner of intelligence deployed Epstein, they were looking at that, everything in Epstein's safe that day.
00:29:21.460 And probably people did double shifts making sure what was on Epstein's disks and hard drives.
00:29:31.960 So, the Trump administration keeps digging itself deeper and deeper in a hole with these remarks about Jeffrey Epstein.
00:29:41.640 It is puzzling, even for me.
00:29:44.420 Let me just ask you a direct question.
00:29:45.720 In all of your research into Jeffrey Epstein, have you seen or heard any evidence whatsoever that Donald Trump himself engaged in any inappropriate behavior in or around, with anyone, in or around Jeffrey Epstein?
00:30:05.400 With Trump, Alfredo Rodriguez circled people that he said were in cahoots with Jeffrey Epstein as far as his pedophilic pandering.
00:30:16.120 And a number of those people that were circled were certainly in cahoots.
00:30:20.640 There was Ghislaine Maxwell was circled, Mahoud Barak, Les Wexner, Alan Dershowitz, Bill Richardson, and Jean-Luc Brunel, who was a fellow pimp of Epstein's.
00:30:33.260 They formed a modeling agency together, MC Squared.
00:30:36.980 And then we have victim testimony that corroborates that, these circled people in Epstein's black book.
00:30:45.160 So, Rodriguez did circle Trump's name.
00:30:50.820 And Trump said he'd never been to Epstein's home, but we know that he had.
00:30:56.980 And then we also know they flew on his plane.
00:30:59.240 But I haven't come across any victims that said that they were molested by Trump.
00:31:07.940 So, you can make with that what you will.
00:31:11.760 Yeah, I mean, I interviewed Virginia Roberts Giffray for six hours, two, three-hour sessions.
00:31:17.640 I read all of her testimony.
00:31:19.840 She said that she did meet Donald Trump.
00:31:22.860 He went to a charity event at Epstein's home, which I report in my book, and that he was a perfect gentleman.
00:31:29.280 Also, Roberts Giffray, who we were told recently committed suicide, I will come back to that, said both in her sworn testimony, but her lawyer.
00:31:40.760 And she both said afterwards the only well-known public figure who would help her, who would support her in a lawsuit, and who would help her was Donald Trump.
00:31:48.900 I've written about Trump being on Epstein's plane.
00:31:54.480 The plane flew from New York, actually, Teterboro, New Jersey, to Palm Beach, leaving on a Friday, coming back on a Sunday.
00:32:02.180 And Marla Maples, his wife at the time, and his daughter, Tiffany Trump, were on the flight.
00:32:07.580 None of these flights, based on the FAA records that I examined, you reported extensively about this, show Trump going to the island.
00:32:15.720 I don't believe there's any evidence he was ever on the island.
00:32:19.120 He has certainly denied it.
00:32:21.480 So, I don't think—
00:32:22.660 I haven't seen any evidence of him being on the island.
00:32:27.080 I'm sorry, say that again, please.
00:32:29.540 I said, I haven't seen any evidence of Trump being on Epstein's island.
00:32:34.880 Yeah, nor have I.
00:32:36.520 So, I do think this much we know.
00:32:40.540 Trump definitely cuts Epstein off prior to Epstein being exposed and charged with sex crimes in Florida.
00:32:48.340 And this happens when Epstein makes an improper advance to an underage girl working in the spa at Mar-a-Lago.
00:32:54.520 Trump hears about this.
00:32:55.560 He bans Epstein from all of his properties and from his life.
00:32:59.000 I juxtapose that with Bill and Hillary Clinton, who continue to socialize with Epstein, who continue to take contributions to Epstein.
00:33:08.720 And Virginia DeFray, in her sworn testimony, says that Bill was on the island at least once.
00:33:14.660 Bill has denied that.
00:33:16.140 The FAA records seem to indicate that Bill was on the Lolita Express at least 26 times.
00:33:23.340 That's the number that I have felt comfortable using based on research.
00:33:28.920 So, it's interesting to me, Epstein is clearly much closer to the Clintons than he ever was to Donald Trump.
00:33:36.780 Therefore, I reject this motive that Trump is covering this all up because he himself has exposure or vulnerability.
00:33:43.820 Why would you pledge to expose everything if that were the case?
00:33:46.980 If you're just tuning in, this is The Stone Zone.
00:33:49.060 And I'm talking to one of the best journalists in the country, Nick Bryant.
00:33:53.200 We're going to talk about your 501c3 that you've set up to help the victims of Jeffrey Epstein when we come right back.
00:34:00.100 The Stone Zone.
00:34:01.740 Entertaining and informative.
00:34:03.720 On the Red Apple Podcast Network.
00:34:07.240 And we're back in The Stone Zone.
00:34:09.140 We're talking to Nick Bryant, investigative journalist and author.
00:34:11.880 He is the man who broke the Jeffrey Epstein story when he obtained Jeffrey Epstein's little black book.
00:34:20.080 Nobody would publish that.
00:34:21.360 And ironically, Gawker, no longer in business, then considered to be the mean kids of the media, had the fortitude to publish the story.
00:34:29.780 And the story was kept alive by Julie Brown, a crusading reporter at the Miami Herald, whose politics are not mine.
00:34:37.120 She's a fine journalist.
00:34:39.240 Nick, you've set up a 501c3 nonprofit group, Epstein Justice, that's working to ensure that all the pedophiles who used Jeffrey Epstein to satisfy their sick, peditory desires are put behind bars.
00:34:55.460 Can you speak about your important work there and how people can get involved in that fight?
00:35:00.320 Your audience, they just have to go to EpsteinJustice.com and they can sign up with us.
00:35:08.520 Because Epstein has been in the news a lot lately, our organization is beginning to grow.
00:35:16.200 And we want two relatively simple things.
00:35:20.280 I mean, just that would be considered baseline morality.
00:35:24.900 We want to know why the government covered up child trafficking.
00:35:28.680 And when you cover up a crime, you're aiding and embedding that crime.
00:35:32.420 So essentially, the government is aiding and embedding child trafficking in the Epstein case.
00:35:37.200 And we want the perpetrators to be prosecuted.
00:35:40.400 Very simple.
00:35:42.060 If our government had any kind of decency, that would happen.
00:35:49.400 And we need a majority in the House and we need a majority in the Senate to make this that we can do it.
00:35:58.680 I think that people are really, really fed up over this story.
00:36:03.280 And our government has lied to us before on a number of different things.
00:36:08.600 But this is different because it involves American children getting molested with impunity.
00:36:15.460 And I think that this is an issue that can bring the right and the left together because the right and the left have been divided and conquered.
00:36:26.060 And the right and the left need to come together on this issue so we can protect our children.
00:36:32.260 In the short term, I have urged the president to direct the attorney general, to direct the interim U.S. attorney for the Southern District of New York,
00:36:41.180 to move in court to unseal all of the grand jury testimony and evidence in Jeffrey Epstein's 2019 indictment by the Trump administration for child sex trafficking,
00:36:55.740 conspiracy to commit child sex trafficking, and on the basis of a whistleblower.
00:37:01.120 We're also very important to unseal the search warrants for Epstein's home in New York and for the island, both issued out of the Southern District of New York.
00:37:11.340 I hope the president is listening.
00:37:13.240 I hope he will do that.
00:37:14.240 I think that would go a long way to start to answer a lot of these puzzling questions.
00:37:19.920 Anyway, we have to end this here.
00:37:22.100 I want to thank my guest, Nick Bryant.
00:37:24.160 Again, go to EpsteinJustice.com, EpsteinJustice.com, to get in the fight to expose those who have done wrong in the name of justice for all of Jeffrey Epstein's victims.
00:37:38.200 Also commend to you Nick Bryant's book on Watergate, The Truth About Watergate, A Tale of Extraordinary Liars and Liars.
00:37:44.660 It is the definitive book on Watergate, why it happened, how it happened, who the good guys were, who the bad guys were, who the guys who were in the dark were.
00:37:55.160 I commend that to you as well.
00:37:57.020 Nick, thanks for making the time to join us today in The Stone Zone.
