00:01:16.260 The Stone Zone, entertaining and informative.

00:01:20.420 On the Red Apple Podcast Network.

00:01:22.340 And I'm Jake Novak in with you live this evening in for the great Roger Stone.

00:01:27.440 Thank you so much for the opportunity.

00:01:30.360 And it's kind of a cool time to be on the air live because we're counting down to President Trump's highly anticipated, still kind of stealthy live address to the nation.

00:01:40.140 We're expecting it to be about election integrity, which could be anything from discussing the problems with ballot harvesting, the problems with mail-in ballots in general, to specific elections that he might pinpoint that have some really funky stuff that went on that were never explained.

00:02:02.320 and as i peek at the mainstream news media they're disingenuous non-journalistic previews for this

00:02:09.340 speech they're all saying that basically trump's gonna lie don't listen i mean this is what

00:02:12.920 journalists are this is what journalism is in in in america in 2026 telling people not to pay

00:02:18.280 attention to the president talking uh and they wonder why they you know their business model

00:02:24.560 is is dying and so many people are getting laid off um it's going to be an interesting speech

00:02:30.660 There were some reports a few days ago that he might pinpoint the two Senate elections in Georgia where we have Raphael Warnock and John Ossoff, two Democrats in a really red state of Georgia.

00:02:43.580 I know that the elections there are closer than they've been in recent years in some cases, and they did vote for Clinton. 0.54

00:02:49.040 But Georgia is a pretty deep red state, and that was proven during the 2024 elections with less chicanery going on there, and Trump won Georgia pretty clearly. 0.85

00:03:00.660 So he might talk about that. He might talk about, for example, what happened in Wisconsin, where suddenly they closed the doors and we don't know what happened and suddenly a bunch of votes get counted. Of course, that was really also more of an issue in the Atlanta Fulton County elections offices in 2020. 0.88

00:03:19.140 So there may be these kinds of discussions. And before you fall for and I'm sure many of you listening here aren't falling for it, but before you fall for the narratives that you're going to hear that I'm seeing on these other mainstream channels just out of the corner of my eye, saying these saying that everything Trump says tonight is debunked, it's not debunked.

00:03:36.240 It was never investigated.

00:03:38.620 We don't audit our elections in this country.

00:03:40.840 We should.

00:03:41.940 But until we do, then you can't say this is a debunked claim.

00:03:45.020 Debunked by whom?

00:03:46.000 Were there investigators who looked into it and really?

00:03:48.840 No.

00:03:51.520 Just because you say it's debunked doesn't mean it's debunked.

00:03:55.560 But as I always say, and I hope everyone who hasn't heard this before will listen to it now.

00:04:01.060 And if you have heard me say it before, just please remember this.

00:04:03.860 and this is of course the biggest problem in 2020 where we had this massive number of millions and

00:04:09.800 millions and millions of mail-in ballots but i don't care if you have one mail-in ballot or 10

00:04:13.880 million or 100 million the same thing that i'm about to say is true mail-in ballots are not secret

00:04:20.240 ballots duh they're not and see and if you don't have a secret ballot in your election it's not

00:04:26.740 legitimate period fraud or no fraud a mail-in ballot filled out by i don't know who under whose

00:04:36.620 influence i don't know is not legitimate and we have american history to prove it

00:04:41.500 non-secret balloting in this country was banned

00:04:45.640 and it got a lot of traction in the years after reconstruction when we had competitive elections

00:04:53.460 in the south again and they put a ballot box for republicans and a ballot box for democrats and

00:04:58.540 very often you voted at work so your boss could see how you voted or you voted in public not

00:05:05.340 secret ballots and once again here is my gift to those who want to fight for election integrity

00:05:10.960 here it is this is something better than you get from the professional political consultants

00:05:15.000 who are all bad at what they do and are all bad people full-time political consultants are bad

00:05:20.900 human beings there are a huge reason why our country is a mess right now because they continue

00:05:27.120 to have influence even after elections and they and they mold policy based on small polls here 0.99

00:05:33.000 and there and they all think they're successful because gee you know in a 50 50 society because

00:05:36.960 we do have a pretty split electorate in this country even the worst political consultants

00:05:40.780 gonna be batting 500 but here's my gift here's some good political advice if i were a political

00:05:47.900 consultant here's some gold i'm gonna give you and i've given it to uh the country before no charge

00:05:54.200 again my alter ego is jake novak unemployable political consultant why am i unemployable

00:06:00.700 because i give good advice and i want the country to do well instead of some guy running for dog

00:06:05.540 catcher so here it is you want to stop mail-in balloting in this country because it's all

00:06:11.860 illegitimate a mail-in ballot is illegitimate by its face on its face fraud or no fraud it's not

00:06:17.820 a secret ballot my god how many hundreds of years in our society have we known in all society that

00:06:24.100 non-secret ballots aren't legitimate how long have we known this hundreds of years i think the

00:06:29.260 australians are the first to figure this out the first secret ballot i think we're called the

00:06:33.000 australian ballot but whatever here's what you do you put a commercial on you get a guy in a wife 0.78

00:06:39.360 beater t-shirt big burly disgusting guy leaning over his wife with her shaky hand filling out the 0.57

00:06:46.000 mail-in ballot and we all know what's going on there that'll solve the problem real fast i don't 0.96

00:06:51.520 know who's forcing who to fill out what bubble in the paper i don't know if they'll know what

00:06:55.760 they're doing i don't know if they have any privacy whatsoever and that's why mail-in ballots among

00:07:01.480 other things are not legitimate i don't want to see any mail-in ballots in any election ever not

00:07:06.100 one well but jake what about our troops overseas they can vote on a secure laptop like people do

00:07:12.180 in embassies and consulates for foreign countries all over the world.

00:07:17.240 But what if they're in a battle?

00:07:18.420 They're in a battle.

00:07:18.960 They're not voting. 0.94

00:07:21.460 You jack wagon. 0.80

00:07:23.160 They're getting shot at.

00:07:24.240 I don't think filling out a ballot is going to be their first priority. 1.00

00:07:26.360 Do you, you moron? 0.99

00:07:28.020 If you're on a military base overseas, you can go to the PX and vote on a secure laptop. 1.00

00:07:34.520 That's it.

00:07:35.080 No mail-in ballots.

00:07:37.020 And I really hope that the president tonight makes that argument or something along those lines.

00:07:41.580 I know he's going to, if this speech really is about election integrity, I know he's going to continue some of the messages he's made in the past, rightfully so, denigrating the validity of mail-in ballots.

00:07:55.560 But I hope he goes as far as I do and remind people that no mail-in ballot is ever legitimate in any election.

00:08:01.440 I don't want to see any non-secret ballots cast in any election.

00:08:04.860 They're phony.

00:08:05.880 They're not reliable.

00:08:07.400 And I'm all for voter convenience.

00:08:09.520 if you want to vote in person a week or two before the election fine as long as you're voting in

00:08:15.140 person in a secret booth ballot kind of situation like we have and i think that giving people a week

00:08:21.700 or 10 days before an election day like so many states and cities do to vote in person like that

00:08:26.420 is more than enough accommodation for people i want to see great voter participation out there

00:08:32.380 i really do but there's only so much we can do if we're dragging people to vote and forcing them to

00:08:37.500 vote and pushing their nose into the ballot, then that's also not really legitimate.

00:08:41.900 It's kind of like coerced charity.

00:08:45.080 One of the great Jewish rabbis and philosophers of all time said that about charity.

00:08:49.320 If you're forcing someone to give charity, then it's not charity.

00:08:53.260 It may not be a sin per se, but it's certainly not a good deed if you're forced to do it.

00:09:00.000 Coerced charity is not charity, and coerced voting is not really legitimate either.

00:09:03.640 i would love so so sure vote in person 10 days in advance you want to that's great vote on election

00:09:11.220 day even better mail-in ballots never never should be allowed even democrats like jimmy

00:09:19.460 carter used to know this well i don't know if he died knowing this maybe he changed his tune but

00:09:23.480 he talked about this remember for years after his presidency he was one of those election

00:09:27.500 inspectors that the u.n would send to places or the u.s would send to places usually

00:09:33.540 latin america and he denigrated the whole idea of mail-in ballots rightfully so but if president

00:09:41.000 trump goes into specific election stuff about how ballots showed up late somewhere and talks

00:09:46.040 about ballot harvesting which is also illegitimate someone going into a neighborhood with a bunch of

00:09:50.360 ballots and telling people here sign this when we have no idea whether the person knows what

00:09:54.180 they're signing and also that isn't a secret ballot that should not be legitimate we should

00:09:58.700 not be allowed ballot harvesting so i'm sure he'll talk about a lot of these things and uh we should

00:10:05.980 give it our attention folks don't listen to what the mainstream media says there's no evidence of

00:10:10.640 there's no evidence there's never any investigation these elections don't get audited the fbi has been

00:10:17.800 investigating under the trump this new trump term the second term of trump and maybe he'll talk

00:10:22.060 about some of the things that have been uncovered i understand that a good deal of the country is

00:10:25.960 not going to believe what the president says about this if there is indeed evidence of it but i want

00:10:29.360 to hear it and you got aoc alexandria ocasio-cortez the congresswoman from new york saying that no one

00:10:37.900 should air his speech you know here's a little bit of a cheat sheet and there's a lot of people

00:10:44.060 who say things publicly i'm going to place some some of those guys later in this program there's

00:10:48.600 a lot of guys and gals who say things publicly i really wish didn't say anything i really don't

00:10:52.680 like them. But one of those cheat sheets in life is if you have somebody who says someone shouldn't

00:10:58.000 be given the mic, someone should never be allowed to speak, it's a pretty good indicator that the

00:11:06.080 person telling the other people they can't speak is the bad guy. You're the bad guy if you say you

00:11:10.740 should turn off the mic. I got into an argument today online with a big-name journalist who I

00:11:17.020 don't think is a very good guy i don't think he should be censored kind of hate what he said

00:11:23.180 but i don't think he should be censored geez if i need my opponents to be censored then i'm really

00:11:28.640 not much of a of a pundit or or someone who more important i really don't like that term pundit

00:11:34.440 just i i like to be an essayist and someone who really wants to focus on good policy for america

00:11:39.560 and good policy for america one of my favorite good policies would be

00:11:42.580 more election integrity we have almost none right now people do not do not trust the election

00:11:49.620 process it has been dirtied up by this whole mail-in ballot explosion by ballot harvesting

00:11:57.880 which is a form of mail-in ballots and it's it's very disturbing it's very disturbing

00:12:05.580 and to call anyone who has a problem with these kinds of elections a problem where

00:12:10.160 someone is leading by an X amount of votes at 3am and then the lights go off

00:12:14.140 in the board of elections and suddenly there's a bunch of ballots

00:12:18.020 that go the other way. To call that person an election denier for questioning that

00:12:22.280 is, you know, basically that's gaslighting. And gaslighting is a really

00:12:26.020 overused term. The two most overused terms in America today are gaslighting

00:12:30.060 and narcissist. Usually when people say narcissist, they mean that that person's being selfish

00:12:34.240 at that particular moment. Just because you're selfish at one particular moment doesn't mean you're a full-on

00:12:38.280 narcissists full-on narcissism is a pretty serious serious disorder there thankfully very few of

00:12:43.040 those in the world right now there's some selfish people but that's different and gaslighting is

00:12:48.340 also overused but when you tell people who are getting very upset about weird stuff happening

00:12:53.480 in elections in the late night hours after the lights go out and suddenly a bunch of trucks pull

00:12:57.940 up with some ballast you don't know where the hell they came from that's not being hysterical

00:13:01.980 we all have a right to ask those questions don't gaslight us into saying well you know there's no

00:13:06.680 evidence i mean there's no evidence it's never the way things went in all the years of our

00:13:11.560 elections in this country doesn't happen in a lot of other countries that have a lot of other

00:13:15.820 problems like france and great britain they got a lot of problems in those countries okay but

00:13:21.720 their elections seem to have a lot more integrity so these are legitimate questions and i hope the

00:13:28.360 president addresses each and every one of them when i come back let's talk about the president

00:13:33.060 his number two, at least on the constitutional roster, Vice President Vance, I have some advice

00:13:39.820 for him. Again, I will continue to take on my alter ego of Jake Novak, unemployable political

00:13:46.140 consultant, because I actually have some good advice for the vice president. Stay soon for that.

00:13:51.160 The Stone Zone, entertaining and informative on the Red Apple Podcast Network.

00:13:57.240 and i'm jake novak filling in for roger stone and with me is my alter ego jake novak unemployable

00:14:04.920 political consultant why am i unemployable because i give good advice and the political

00:14:10.140 consulting firms don't want people who give good advice they like giving bad advice and they thrive

00:14:16.400 on that but i'm going to give some good advice now to our vice president jd vance who is doing

00:14:21.560 everything all wrong if he truly wants to run for president in 2028 if he truly wants to have

00:14:27.360 actually a strong political career no matter what happens after this vice presidency

00:14:31.580 he needs to change a lot of what he's doing and before i get into the israel aspect of it the

00:14:38.700 alleged anti-semitism let's just talk about the optics here let's just pretend he was talking

00:14:42.780 about hamburgers and not israel or widgets or whatever you want to talk about first of all

00:14:48.340 he's appearing weak he's going on joe rogan like he did earlier this week and complaining that

00:14:53.640 there's a campaign against him that's weak that's weak you got to come off strong even if you are

00:15:02.020 being persecuted even if there is some unfairness you come off strong not like a whiny little boy

00:15:08.900 which he did never do that i don't care if you're a republican democrat doesn't matter the democrats

00:15:14.680 like strength in their candidates they don't nominate good strong candidates but they don't

00:15:20.180 have really many choices but they would like to see more strength they love the nastiness

00:15:24.180 99% of Gavin Newsom's appeal which is not as strong as it was a couple years ago let's face

00:15:29.220 it he's having a hard time but 99% of his appeals is a nasty SOB on social media which I don't

00:15:35.680 think is really that great but just goes to show being stronger rather than a whiner can work for

00:15:40.940 you so here he is on joe rogan saying well you know the the deal with the iran didn't work out

00:15:48.440 and it's it's he's blaming israel for it which is just again imagine he's saying the word hamburgers

00:15:52.760 take take the israel part out of the equation this is a whiny boy as our vice president and it's not

00:15:58.260 good optics or audio listen and again with limitations like when the iranians hit ships

00:16:04.980 the president has been willing to knock the hell out of the iranians in response this is not just

00:16:08.980 to negotiation it's negotiation it's military it's all these things but i know beyond a shadow

00:16:14.020 of a doubt that there have been people within the israeli government who are trying to like

00:16:19.760 actually shift us away from that policy because they want to continue the military campaign

00:16:25.860 and i had this whole deal i i did my homework i i wrote a memorandum of understanding and everyone

00:16:32.620 signed it and these really didn't want to do it yeah they didn't want to do it because iran is

00:16:36.420 an evil regime not to be trusted i don't care what paper they signed any person could have told

00:16:41.820 you that and i did and i tried to get everyone to understand not don't be such a whiny little

00:16:47.040 person and i said this to my all the pro-israel friends too don't be whiny about what's in this

00:16:51.620 memorandum of understanding because it doesn't matter it could be us promising iran unicorns

00:16:57.060 and rainbows they would still break it the only question we needed to ask then as we do now

00:17:01.760 is what is president trump going to do when they do break it because they will break it and that

00:17:06.400 didn't take long did it this is a whiny vice president that's not good usually the vice

00:17:12.700 president's role traditionally has been to be even nastier than the president take the bully pulpit

00:17:17.300 do what the president wants talk about what the president wants in a really really even tougher

00:17:22.560 sharper way that's how you do it that's how you be a strong that's how you you are to be a strong

00:17:28.340 vice president and a potential presidential successor at some point again you think this

00:17:34.840 is about israel here it's not this is about optics this is about how you sound and this is

00:17:40.660 someone complaining on a on the biggest podcast there is that the israelis wanted to continue

00:17:45.900 with it israelis don't want war they just know that signing a little piece of paper isn't going

00:17:51.180 to matter and more people will die but again take the israel part of the equation out of it if you

00:17:55.820 can most people can't they're they're too crazed one way or the other over israel and i understand

00:17:59.680 that but see if you can have a little bit more to say to jd vance in a second this is free

00:18:04.180 real advice from someone who can't be employed by Poclittle Consultancy Firms

00:18:08.920 because I give good advice. Stay with us here on The Stone Zone.

00:18:24.760 The Stone Zone. Entertaining and informative. On the Red Apple Podcast Network.

00:18:31.600 It's 8.34 a.m. East p.m.

00:18:33.780 P.m., my goodness.

00:18:34.540 I do a lot of morning stuff, so that's why.

00:18:36.460 8.34 p.m. here, Eastern Time Zone.

00:18:39.960 I'm Jake Novak, filling in for Roger Stone this evening.

00:18:43.380 And, you know, a big reason why our country has so many political problems

00:18:48.580 and cultural problems is because of political consultants.

00:18:53.100 They're really bad at what they do, and for the most part, they're bad people.

00:18:56.120 I'm talking about the people in D.C. who work at those big firms

00:19:00.540 they give bad advice

00:19:02.640 and whoever is advising J.D. Vance right now

00:19:05.720 really should give back whatever money he's getting

00:19:09.420 or she's getting because they're doing a terrible job for the man

00:19:12.040 they really are

00:19:13.420 now ultimately it's J.D. Vance's responsibility

00:19:16.000 I'm not trying to remove him from responsibility

00:19:19.980 for the things he says and does

00:19:21.360 he's an adult

00:19:22.000 and he's the vice president of the United States

00:19:25.620 but honestly he's getting bad advice

00:19:28.080 from people who either don't know their history or just don't know politics well enough to work

00:19:35.180 in this country so in addition to as i said before the break and played the soundbite of him

00:19:39.700 complaining about israelis working against him and they wanted a war to continue and it just

00:19:44.000 didn't work for me just coming off weak and whiny which is never good it's never good in politics

00:19:49.520 you know even phony bravado is better than real whining even if you think you've got a reason to

00:19:57.100 I learned that my senior year of high school was early in the 1988 presidential primary process.

00:20:05.920 And George H.W. Bush was getting a real challenge from Bob Dole.

00:20:09.980 This is early 1988.

00:20:12.540 And George Bush does a live interview with Dan Rather on CBS News, and he jumps down his throat.

00:20:19.260 And a lot of people were surprised because George H.W. Bush is like Mr. Nice Guy and kind of soft spoken.

00:20:23.700 And people were saying he was kind of wimpy.

00:20:27.100 And he just jumped down his throat and it was probably all a setup, but it's by his campaign people back when there were better political advisors out there.

00:20:36.360 But it worked. Gosh darn it, if it didn't work, it made him seem strong. 0.71

00:20:42.420 And it took a lot of the momentum out of the Dole campaign and he and he pretty much cakewalked to the nomination, give or take a couple of stumbles here and there in 1988. 0.94

00:20:57.100 Now, another thing that doesn't get you good traction, in addition to being a whiner, is being a conspiracy theorist in the political realm.

00:21:04.780 You can do that on podcasts and make a lot of money and do well.

00:21:07.580 You can even do it in mainstream media now or on the media.

00:21:10.180 You can do that.

00:21:11.400 But as a candidate, you can't do that.

00:21:14.060 And this time it is something specific.

00:21:16.320 I want to get into the realm of anti-Semitism or Israel bashing, that kind of thing.

00:21:20.440 Again, being whiny and complaining was the problem about the first thing I told you about.

00:21:24.880 It wasn't really about being critical of Israel.

00:21:27.100 If you can forget the Israel factor in that first part, please do.

00:21:30.740 I know it's hard.

00:21:31.360 I know it's really hard, but try.

00:21:33.320 In this case, though, don't forget it because anti-Semitism and Israel bashing

00:21:39.080 has never really had great success in this country.

00:21:43.820 Yes, it gets you, and it's like a drug.

00:21:45.980 It gets you an initial boost, even sometimes a feeling of invulnerability.

00:21:51.660 It's like cocaine.

00:21:52.280 but then the half-life is really short and you end up having a really low ceiling to how far

00:21:57.380 you can go i know it feels like to a lot of people that anti-semitism is exploding right now

00:22:02.660 and everyone's really doing great with it but it's a great way to basically put a very low ceiling on

00:22:07.680 your political career now there is only one variable to that the variable being that this

00:22:13.420 country has by legal and illegal means imported a lot of anti-semitic hate into this country in

00:22:19.380 the last 10 15 years a lot of those people coming through and through the open borders of the biden

00:22:24.380 administration were jew haters in a non-american un-american kind of way and so they do add a

00:22:30.460 little bit of a variable but here's the thing jd vance is a republican the kind of people who

00:22:35.600 we've imported into this country from people who hate america places that hate america people

00:22:39.380 people who hate america who are some for some reason coming here anyway they're not going to 0.68

00:22:43.500 vote for a republican they're not going to vote for jd vance no matter how anti-semitic or anti-israel

00:22:48.040 he may come off being so in this next sound bite i'm going to play from you from this joe rogan

00:22:53.440 interview that the vice president gave he puts the he does the double whammy he does the conspiracy

00:22:58.920 theory and the anti-semitism listen to this he clearly had connections to the upper the highest

00:23:07.560 levels of american intelligence he clearly had connections to the highest levels of israeli

00:23:12.480 intelligence well most people think he was massad yeah massad or cia or some other deep state

00:23:18.060 whether in america or israel or another country or he's talking about jeffrey epstein so he's

00:23:23.440 doing the epstein thing with joe rogan and he said he clearly had there's absolutely no evidence of

00:23:30.560 that there's no evidence of that also it just defies all logic look at all the jewish pro-israel

00:23:37.840 people who have been ensnared in this epstein scandal people originally people like alan

00:23:43.120 dershowitz who's had to fight back against a lot of libel and slander allegations i don't think he

00:23:47.820 was involved in anything really disgusting with jeffrey epstein but he was working with him why

00:23:53.840 would why would mosad want to smear him why would mosad want to smear larry summers there's a few

00:23:59.420 other jewish people who have been very badly tainted by jeffrey epstein pro-israel people

00:24:06.600 It makes no sense that he would be with Mossad.

00:24:09.780 It makes no sense that he would be with an intelligence community.

00:24:12.120 Would an intelligence community be interested in some of the dealings he was having and some of the compromising positions he had some of these people get into?

00:24:19.280 Sure.

00:24:20.040 But he wasn't working for them.

00:24:21.200 There's no evidence of that.

00:24:23.800 And, you know, we've got all these files and there's no evidence of that.

00:24:28.080 But he's playing this conspiracy theory.

00:24:29.760 I'm telling you right now, it works in podcasts.

00:24:32.040 It's going to work for Joe Rogan real well.

00:24:33.960 It's going to work for Tucker Carlson real well.

00:24:36.060 it's going to work for a lot of people in those kinds of professions really

00:24:40.640 well,

00:24:40.840 but it's not going to work well in an American campaign.

00:24:42.640 Ask father Coughlin.

00:24:44.100 I don't know how many of the listeners right now know who father Coughlin

00:24:46.620 was,

00:24:47.200 but he was a Catholic priest who was hugely popular on the radio for many

00:24:51.120 years,

00:24:51.980 virile and anti-Semite until the archdiocese told him to cut it out.

00:24:56.160 Took a long time for that to happen, 0.97

00:24:57.860 but he flamed.

00:24:58.940 He had a very low ceiling to how far he was going to go.

00:25:01.060 He was going to be a radio personality,

00:25:02.820 stoking up old-school anti-Semitism.

00:25:07.000 He was never going to be anything other than that.

00:25:11.640 And J.D. Vance does the double whammy here,

00:25:13.980 the conspiracy theory thing, which also doesn't work.

00:25:16.280 It actually, it makes it seem,

00:25:18.460 the thing about conspiracy theories that I don't like

00:25:20.200 is they promote powerlessness, the idea of powerlessness.

00:25:24.180 That there's all these guys behind the scenes doing X, Y, and Z,

00:25:27.400 and we can't do anything about it.

00:25:29.700 Well, in that case, you know, why bother running?

00:25:31.840 why don't you just go live in a bunker somewhere you know i gotta have some hope when somebody's

00:25:36.660 running whether you're right wing or left wing i gotta have someone running who's saying there's

00:25:40.680 something wrong out there and i'm gonna fix it not i don't know who's doing this it's their

00:25:45.260 they're unbeatable they can't be defeated there's a conspiracy theory out there i mean it's just it's

00:25:49.640 so defeatist it also doesn't give me any specific idea of what you're going to do to fix it

00:25:55.860 man vice president vance you are getting some really really bad advice ultimately you're

00:26:01.900 responsible for it but you got to find out you got to do something about who's giving you this

00:26:05.580 bad advice you know the the only little variable you got going for you is that the whole anti-semitism

00:26:11.380 thing which puts a very low ceiling on your future might be a little bit more lucrative now in some

00:26:16.860 ways because again we've imported tens of millions of jew haters into this country and women haters

00:26:21.560 and america haters and freedom haters but ultimately they're not voting republican ever

00:26:27.780 and ultimately uh you know that's another issue they're anti-american so i really don't know

00:26:34.040 where you're going for them you're going for the non-patriotic group it makes no sense it's 0.89

00:26:39.560 a stupid political strategy if you can somehow and most of us can't do it and i understand why 0.98

00:26:45.580 you can't do it but just imagine for a second that we're not talking about jewish people 1.00

00:26:50.060 We're not talking about anti-Semitism.

00:26:52.080 We're not talking about Israel.

00:26:53.220 Just try to try to get out of that.

00:26:54.880 I know there's a lot of people online who, you know, who talk about me and another guy

00:26:59.000 here at our parent network here, W.A.B.C.'s Sid Rosenberg, we're always talking about

00:27:02.780 these, the Jews in Israel.

00:27:04.340 Well, actually, you're always talking about them.

00:27:06.940 It's your obsession.

00:27:09.000 But if you but here's your chance, I'm going to remove those things.

00:27:12.160 Would you vote for someone who's whining about somebody working against them?

00:27:15.960 That's not a strong persona to project yourself as a candidate.

00:27:19.760 Would you vote for someone who's promoting conspiracy theories with no evidence?

00:27:23.340 Even if you believe them.

00:27:25.240 Remember, the point of talking about conspiracy theories all the time is just to remind everyone how powerless we are.

00:27:31.640 How we don't know, really.

00:27:32.960 We can't get to the folks who are doing X, Y, and Z.

00:27:36.840 That's not what we'd go to the polls to vote for.

00:27:40.180 It might be completely irrational, but we vote in the hope that the guy or gal we're voting for is going to fix this thing.

00:27:48.020 not gonna complain about it not gonna tell us well there's a unseen hand of power here i can't

00:27:54.540 get no that's that doesn't do anything that's great for a podcast it's great for a session

00:27:59.620 in the common room at the dorm where everyone's a little drunk or stoned and you're talking about 0.99

00:28:03.480 your stupid theories but it's death politically it's death politically and if you do that kind 1.00

00:28:13.420 of stuff you project yourself as weak and as a loser and there's one more thing i'll say about 1.00

00:28:20.460 the whole jd vance thing that i have said for years and i think is absolutely undeniably

00:28:25.600 objectively true if you remember nothing else remember this you don't want to be the front

00:28:32.480 runner for president anywhere before eight or seven months before general election day

00:28:38.800 being a frontrunner for president a year out two years out two years and change out is death

00:28:46.020 it puts a huge target on you it puts all the focus on you and it almost always ends up in you not

00:28:54.220 winning there are some exceptions i mean donald trump being the frontrunner for the republican

00:28:59.020 nomination in 2024 doesn't really count the guy was the incumbent president basically i mean he

00:29:06.460 wasn't in office we know and you know what i mean he had already had a term he was already in the

00:29:11.960 public eye in that way he already had the bullseye around him he breaks up a lot of the the norms and

00:29:16.640 the axioms of politics but you don't want to be a front runner too early in this game folks

00:29:22.460 it's death ask howard dean ask paul songas you probably don't even remember who the heck that is

00:29:29.340 ask hillary clinton she was a front runner way too early in the process

00:29:35.340 and you don't want that so if jd vance was doing this thing to push the memorandum of understanding

00:29:43.620 and to go on joe rogan now and do all these kinds of things in the hopes of getting into

00:29:47.700 the inside lane for president in 2028 even if he just did everything right even if he took

00:29:53.920 all the right person used all the right persona used all the right messages which he did which

00:29:59.660 he didn't it would still not be so smart now you're still the vice president you can't go run

00:30:05.840 run and hide under a tree but if you do have to say something do big picture stuff

00:30:13.220 and honestly i know a lot of people talk about marco rubio have he's not even we don't even

00:30:19.300 know if he's running for president but if he is this is the kind of thing that you would want to

00:30:24.440 do two years and change before general election day talking about big picture stuff large policy

00:30:30.680 stuff and sounding like a statesman here he is today the most essential duty of the state

00:30:38.540 the first responsibility frankly of any government of any kind is the protection of its people

00:30:45.220 it's the protection of its country this is a sacred obligation that should transcend

00:30:50.500 all political and all ideological divisions it is why for example we have militaries

00:30:56.140 we have intelligence agencies it's why counterterrorism bureaus exist why police

00:31:00.880 forces exist keeping our people safe is the reason why every country represented here has

00:31:06.600 all of these things the most so you know again large scale the first job of our political

00:31:12.240 structure is to keep people safe yeah that's thomas hobbs stuff that's that's some of the

00:31:17.240 Great political philosophy.

00:31:19.200 I don't know if he's running.

00:31:20.080 I really don't.

00:31:20.520 I think a lot of people are assuming he's running.

00:31:22.280 If a gun to my head, I'd say, yeah, sure.

00:31:24.340 But that's the kind of speech you want to make.

00:31:26.100 You don't want to be going on podcasts whining about stuff and promoting conspiracy theories.

00:31:31.780 All right, we come back.

00:31:32.980 Speaking of people who make wrong moves, Luigi Mangione, I know he's real popular among the crazed leftist groups. 0.79

00:31:40.660 But you know he's a failure, too.

00:31:42.520 And I'm going to explain why when we come back here on The Stone Zone.

00:31:47.240 the stone zone entertaining and informative on the red apple podcast network

00:31:53.780 and i'm jake novak in for roger stone live here 8 52 p.m i got my am and p.m mixed up before

00:32:02.380 sign that i'm working very hard but i know it is p.m 8 50 it's dark it's dark outside

00:32:07.080 and i'm jake novak very happy to fill in for roger stone he often gives me this chance and

00:32:12.720 I appreciate it.

00:32:14.740 I want to talk about some losers because I've already been talking about the loser message 0.96

00:32:18.760 that our vice president put out there all by himself voluntarily. 0.97

00:32:23.200 He didn't have to do it.

00:32:23.900 Someone gave him some bad advice.

00:32:24.920 Of course, ultimately, it's his responsibility.

00:32:26.560 I've been talking about that, but he's not alone. 0.98

00:32:29.860 We have some other losers very much in the public eye in America who promote loser messages 0.88

00:32:35.360 or say one thing and do other things to undermine what they supposedly are for. 0.96

00:32:42.560 One of them is Gavin Newsom, the governor of California.

00:32:45.400 Only a few more months left in his term, by the way.

00:32:48.880 And here he is bemoaning the fact that Elon Musk is a trillionaire, his enemy Elon Musk.

00:32:54.280 Listen.

00:32:54.960 Well, look, 10% of people own two-thirds of wealth in this nation.

00:32:58.280 That same 10% on 93% of the stock market.

00:33:02.380 30-year-old today is doing worse than his or her parents for the first time in U.S. history.

00:33:08.440 If that's not a five-alarm fire, I don't know what the hell is.

00:33:11.920 And we were sitting there, some of us at least, celebrating the best of Roman Republic-Greek democracy on July 4th.

00:33:20.460 The vision of our founding fathers, co-equal branches of government, popular sovereignty, a rule of law.

00:33:30.180 I'm reminded, thinking about the Greeks, there was a guy around 50 AD, 2,000 years ago, warning the Athenians, Plutarch.

00:33:37.400 He said the imbalance, the imbalance between the rich and the poor is the oldest and most fatal ailment of all republics.

00:33:46.320 Think about that.

00:33:47.220 Two thousand years ago.

00:33:49.460 Yeah, Gavin, a couple of things.

00:33:51.240 Again, he kicked this complaint about the wealth, growth, growth of wealth in a small number of people.

00:33:57.940 That's always going to be the case.

00:33:59.420 There's always going to be people who achieve.

00:34:01.180 And in some cases, some of them will get some luck.

00:34:03.260 But luck is luck is very much, very much overrated.

00:34:06.860 There's a professor at Cornell named Professor Robert Frank whose entire career is based on how everything is luck.

00:34:15.340 If I were a student in this class, I would say, well, then why are you giving out grades?

00:34:18.880 I demand an A. Or just roll the dice.

00:34:22.400 I mean, this whole class is a farce.

00:34:24.200 Why would you have a class where you have to work and study and perform on a test if all you're learning is that it's just luck?

00:34:30.140 But anyway, he's bemoaning the fact about Elon Musk.

00:34:34.000 Actually, if you know your statistics, we are creating more millionaires and billionaires in this country every day than we ever have.

00:34:41.380 The problem with 30-year-olds not being in such a great state has a lot more to do with mental health than economics.

00:34:49.360 Most 30-year-olds I meet today are like the 20-year-olds of 40 years ago or 18-year-olds.

00:34:56.760 But the thing about Gavin Newsom is he's a loser because he also just signed a bill on the same day that he's giving this little speech two days ago.

00:35:04.000 He signed a bill to create special rebates in California only.

00:35:08.360 Remember, we got rid of the rebates for EV buyers nationally in September of last year.

00:35:13.440 But in California now, if you're a first-time EV buyer, you get a $3,500 rebate.

00:35:18.320 You know who sells the two most popular EVs in this country?

00:35:23.420 Elon Musk.

00:35:25.420 So the guy getting up there complaining about how Elon Musk is too rich

00:35:29.220 just signed a bill to make him richer.

00:35:30.860 Will it make him a lot richer?

00:35:32.240 Is Tesla going to get the bulk of this benefit?

00:35:34.380 That doesn't matter.

00:35:35.300 It's more money to Tesla, I promise you.

00:35:38.740 And Tesla's the biggest reason why Elon Musk is a trillionaire.

00:35:42.800 Tesla stock, okay?

00:35:46.000 What a dope.

00:35:49.080 Another dope is Luigi Mangione.

00:35:51.420 And I know they've tried to make into this great hero.

00:35:55.560 And we can talk specifically, and we should mostly talk about,

00:35:59.320 how the killing of an innocent unarmed person on the street is never right if you believe you have

00:36:06.000 a criminal then you know you don't just kill them unless they're in the act of killing someone

00:36:11.500 and just his murder of brian thompson on the sidewalks of new york at the end of 2024 is

00:36:18.680 not excusable under any means and i hate the medical insurance companies i really don't like

00:36:24.060 them i don't like the business model it makes no sense to me other than for them it does it's awful

00:36:28.540 But here's the thing. Luigi Mangione wasn't trying to hurt the earnings balance sheet of United Healthcare on a quarterly basis, but he was trying to bring down the company. He was trying to bring down the industry.

00:36:44.140 and you know what for eight months after the the killing of brian thompson luigi man johnny

00:36:51.260 murdering him and yes i believe he murdered him i know he hasn't been convicted yet this is a guy

00:36:55.720 who actually had the names of his victims on the shell casings i'm going to say he's guilty of this

00:37:00.380 crime and i know a court of law hasn't convicted him yet but again i'm going to say this is my

00:37:06.140 opinion and i think it's a very well backed up opinion so the eight months after the killing

00:37:12.760 UnitedHealthcare shares did have a problem.

00:37:15.160 They were going down pretty fast.

00:37:17.820 But you know, ever since they reached that bottoming out period

00:37:20.900 in August of 2025, they've been on a tear.

00:37:24.780 And just today, UnitedHealthcare announced

00:37:26.460 very strong earnings for the last quarter.

00:37:29.120 They have gained well over half of the losses

00:37:31.700 that they incurred over that eight-month period.

00:37:35.420 UnitedHealthcare shares are up 45%

00:37:37.860 from where they were a year ago today.

00:37:41.600 You failed.

00:37:43.600 And as I said at the time of The Killing,

00:37:45.300 if Luigi Mangione really wanted to do something to help people,

00:37:49.500 killing wasn't the right way.

00:37:50.540 Apparently he was a brilliant guy,

00:37:51.820 and there is very often a thin line between brilliance and insanity.

00:37:55.560 Then make an app where people can learn health care tips, Luigi.

00:38:00.220 Do what you got to do, but don't shoot someone.

00:38:03.600 And by the way, you failed.

00:38:05.520 This has been The Stone Zone.

00:38:06.520 I'm Jake Novak in for Roger Stone tonight.
