00:00:00.000 The Stone Zone on the Red Apple Podcast Network.

00:00:06.560 You are now entering the Stone Zone.

00:00:10.960 Yesterday, the New York Times released a bombshell report tying

00:00:14.860 predophile and child sex trafficker Jeffrey Epstein to Barack Obama,

00:00:20.600 Benjamin Netanyahu, the Rockefellers, the Pritzker family, Bill Clinton,

00:00:25.400 and more, but notably did not tie him to Donald J. Trump.

00:00:30.880 So while the Democrats and the mocking bird media counterparts are trying to

00:00:36.200 distract you with this fake Jeffrey Epstein Trump birthday card as part of

00:00:41.760 their new hoax, the New York Times released a bombshell report detailing Epstein's

00:00:47.360 relationship with J.P. Morgan and several big name Epstein clients,

00:00:52.740 including Netanyahu, Obama, the Rockefellers, and more.

00:00:57.640 Epstein evidently introduced J.P. Morgan executives to men who would become

00:01:01.820 lucrative clients, such as Google co-founder Sergey Brin,

00:01:07.020 also to global leaders like Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu of Israel.

00:01:11.780 In 2011, Epstein granted J.P. Morgan's investment bankers in Israel an audience

00:01:17.540 with the Israeli leader.

00:01:18.920 A bank spokesman said that J.P. Morgan neither needed nor sought Epstein's help

00:01:24.100 for meetings with any government leaders.

00:01:27.080 Epstein, in the words of a close friend and former Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Barak,

00:01:32.920 who visited the island multiple times, was a collector of people.

00:01:37.620 Epstein told J.P. Morgan Legal Counsel that prominent names could vouch for his character.

00:01:42.760 Go talk to Bill Gates about me, Epstein said at one point, according to the New York Times.

00:01:49.540 Epstein also told J.P. Morgan's chief executive that he managed money for the Rockefellers.

00:01:56.180 A 2003 J.P. Morgan internal report put Epstein's net worth at about $300 million.

00:02:04.340 How Epstein went from being a near-pennyless math teacher at a private boys' school in Manhattan

00:02:11.180 to being worth $300 million is still an open question.

00:02:15.560 The report, which hasn't been previously disclosed until yesterday,

00:02:19.760 noted that Epstein's occupation was advising wealthy individuals like Leslie Wexner,

00:02:26.380 the billionaire operator of brands like Victoria's Secret and The Limited.

00:02:30.920 However, bank documents at the time did not list any other clients.

00:02:35.880 Wexner, it should be noted, was a Republican, is a major donor to the Republican Party in those days,

00:02:43.160 was particularly close to the Bush family, supporter of both George H.W. Bush and later George W. Bush.

00:02:51.440 Perhaps that's why when Epstein was arrested in 2005 and charged with sex crimes in Florida,

00:02:59.320 Alberto Gonzalez, Attorney General of the United States under George W. Bush,

00:03:05.280 specifically instructed federal prosecutors in Florida to handle the case without kicking up a political circus.

00:03:13.820 Hmm.

00:03:14.740 It's interesting to note that J.P. Morgan's report also showed that Epstein provided financial banking

00:03:22.520 for alleged Epstein co-conspirator Jean-Luc Brunel,

00:03:27.480 who allegedly trafficked victims via his MC2 modeling agency.

00:03:34.080 Brunel, like Epstein, was thought to have killed himself.

00:03:37.920 It is still interesting to me that the New York medical examiner,

00:03:42.800 the highly respected Dr. Michael Badden,

00:03:45.500 was retained by Epstein's family to conduct a medical examination of Epstein's body

00:03:52.740 and insisted that the injuries to Epstein sustained in his neck where three different bones were broken

00:04:00.740 were not consistent with him having hung himself.

00:04:05.340 It was interesting also that Badden noted that he personally had performed autopsies

00:04:10.000 on more than 1,000 hanging victims.

00:04:13.740 Former J.P. Morgan executive Jess Staley said in a deposition,

00:04:19.240 according to the Times, that a parade of Epstein referrals included Bill Gates,

00:04:23.800 Sultan Ahmed bin Saliem, and an Emirati billionaire,

00:04:29.360 but not all of those references became clients.

00:04:32.980 J.P. Morgan also took Ghislaine Maxwell on as a client per Epstein's referral.

00:04:38.680 Epstein actually transferred millions of dollars from Maxwell's J.P. Morgan account,

00:04:44.740 including $7.4 million,

00:04:47.440 to buy a green Sikorsky helicopter

00:04:50.140 to fly people to his little St. James Island,

00:04:54.860 dubbed by my friend Sean Hannity as Orgy Island.

00:04:59.140 J.P. Morgan wired money from his account to bank accounts in Russia

00:05:02.980 and Eastern Europe where young women were being drawn into Epstein's sex trafficking network,

00:05:08.760 according to sealed court records.

00:05:11.840 Epstein said in an email that he could push Obama into naming J.P. Morgan CEO Jamie Dimon

00:05:19.820 as Treasury Secretary in Obama's administration.

00:05:22.720 He also said that Obama economic advisor and former Harvard president Lawrence Larry Summers

00:05:29.580 was friendly with Epstein.

00:05:31.820 We know that Summers, who later served as Treasury Secretary of the United States,

00:05:36.660 visited Epstein's island multiple times based on the FAA manifest that I published in my 2015 books,

00:05:45.460 The Clinton's War on Women.

00:05:48.920 Staley also confided, according to the Times report,

00:05:54.280 that Epstein had been working with the Pritzker family on a substantial financial deal,

00:06:01.160 and he detailed the bank's talks with the Federal Reserve about how to stabilize the financial system.

00:06:07.940 Epstein urged the J.P. Morgan executive, Staley, to embrace China,

00:06:12.360 perhaps by moving some banking operations there.

00:06:16.120 He even arranged for Staley to get a quick tutorial about China from an Oxford-educated expert.

00:06:23.240 In 2007, according to the New York Times,

00:06:26.780 tens of millions of dollars poured into Epstein's account from billionaire Leon Black,

00:06:31.800 a founder of the private equity firm Apollo Global Management.

00:06:36.880 Black himself, who, according to the Times, was a J.P. Morgan client,

00:06:41.240 said the payments were for Epstein's advice about taxes and estate planning.

00:06:45.920 At the same time, the media has gone crazy over a birthday card that was allegedly sent by Donald Trump to Jeffrey Epstein.

00:06:57.100 I've examined this birthday card.

00:06:59.300 First of all, I've known Donald Trump for 50 years.

00:07:02.040 I've never known him to draw.

00:07:04.200 I also have never known him to sign only his first name,

00:07:07.520 which looks suspiciously like a forgery to me.

00:07:10.880 Yet, the wording that he and Epstein shared some secret seems extraordinarily suspicious.

00:07:18.640 This card, in my view, is a complete and total fugazi.

00:07:22.780 It's a fraud.

00:07:23.800 I should note that President Trump is suing the Wall Street Journal over their allegation.

00:07:30.060 I wonder what Trump will call the Wall Street Journal after he owns it.

00:07:33.600 In the meantime, there is a former president, a long-time friend, Jeffrey Epstein,

00:07:38.700 who is in the fake news but tried once again to smear Trump regarding his ties to the deceased pedophile.

00:07:47.240 It was reported yesterday that the House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform

00:07:51.360 released the first batch of documents from Epstein's estate this past Monday.

00:07:56.460 Including these documents received was the birthday card compiled by Ghislaine Maxwell

00:08:01.320 for Jeffrey Epstein's 50th birthday,

00:08:04.240 the last will and testimony of Epstein's immediately proceeding,

00:08:07.700 August 8, 2019,

00:08:09.660 the September 24, 2007 non-prosecution agreement

00:08:13.920 between the U.S. Attorney's Office for the Southern District of Florida

00:08:17.520 and Jeffrey Epstein,

00:08:19.580 entries from Epstein's address and contact books

00:08:22.160 from January 1, 1990

00:08:24.020 through August 10, 2019

00:08:26.360 and information about Epstein's known bank accounts.

00:08:30.880 The disgraced Wall Street Journal

00:08:32.560 also leaked a supposedly suggestive letter, as I say,

00:08:36.180 from Trump to Epstein that the president allegedly signed.

00:08:39.380 But the White House have pointed out

00:08:41.200 that Trump's actual signature

00:08:42.620 actually looks quite different.

00:08:45.100 Now, Fox News reports

00:08:46.600 that the House Oversight Committee

00:08:48.080 has released a second batch of files

00:08:50.500 including a message from former President Bill Clinton

00:08:54.080 that was also included in Epstein's birthday book.

00:08:57.780 In the letter,

00:08:58.440 Clinton hails their friendship

00:08:59.680 and Epstein's childlike curiosity.

00:09:03.400 Considering Epstein's slick predilection towards minors,

00:09:07.300 that's definitely an interesting

00:09:08.440 and creepy choice of words

00:09:10.560 from the former president.

00:09:12.520 Here's the actual message in full.

00:09:14.880 Since the mainstream media

00:09:16.580 is hyping up the alleged birthday card from Trump,

00:09:20.020 at the same time seeking to ignore

00:09:22.720 the birthday card from Bill Clinton.

00:09:26.260 It says,

00:09:27.080 Jeffrey,

00:09:27.740 Happy 50th!

00:09:29.200 It's reassuring, isn't it,

00:09:30.480 to have lasted as long

00:09:31.560 across all the years of learning and knowing,

00:09:34.120 adventures,

00:09:34.960 and also to have your childlike curiosity

00:09:37.520 and the drive to make a difference

00:09:39.880 and the solace of your friends.

00:09:41.920 Don't expect the media and the Democrats

00:09:43.740 to go nuts over this card

00:09:45.240 despite the fact that Clinton's long-lasting ties

00:09:48.440 to Epstein are absolutely clear.

00:09:50.160 As I reported here in the Stone Zone,

00:09:53.540 between the time that Epstein was first charged

00:09:56.460 in Florida in 2005

00:09:58.400 and the time that he ultimately pled

00:10:00.980 to one count of solicitation,

00:10:04.240 Epstein actually made a $25,000 contribution

00:10:07.640 to the Clintons

00:10:08.900 and they accepted that money.

00:10:10.780 There is no evidence of Jeffrey Epstein

00:10:12.600 having ever donated to President Donald Trump.

00:10:16.740 As we have pointed out previously,

00:10:19.400 Trump cut Epstein off in late 2004.

00:10:23.060 That was before Epstein was exposed

00:10:26.200 as a sex criminal

00:10:27.640 and before he was charged in Florida.

00:10:31.660 I do think that it is important

00:10:34.900 to examine the 2005 period

00:10:38.220 because the police chief of Palm Beach,

00:10:41.480 Michael Ryder,

00:10:42.740 who I interviewed for my book,

00:10:44.680 turned over to the state's attorney

00:10:47.060 an airtight case for child sex trafficking

00:10:50.100 that included 33 underage girls.

00:10:54.960 He also turned over a case

00:10:56.960 for statutory rape.

00:10:59.040 The chief was shocked 0.54

00:11:00.620 when the state's attorney

00:11:02.400 came back with one count of solicitation.

00:11:06.100 After he complained,

00:11:07.520 the state's attorney

00:11:08.440 bumped that up

00:11:09.820 to a solicitation of a minor.

00:11:13.260 More serious,

00:11:14.200 but not nearly as serious

00:11:15.520 as child sex trafficking.

00:11:18.260 Epstein ended up pleading guilty

00:11:20.220 and then strangely enough

00:11:22.040 got an 18-month sentence

00:11:23.960 of which he only served 15 months.

00:11:27.000 But unlike every other sex criminal

00:11:29.920 convicted in the Sunshine State,

00:11:32.400 Epstein was allowed

00:11:34.160 to serve his sentence

00:11:35.680 in the air-conditioned

00:11:37.260 Palm Beach County Jail.

00:11:39.440 And in fact,

00:11:40.320 under the terms of his release,

00:11:43.220 he was only required

00:11:44.260 to be incarcerated

00:11:45.960 from 6 o'clock in the morning

00:11:50.280 to, pardon me,

00:11:52.140 from 6 o'clock to 10 o'clock,

00:11:55.400 meaning during the day,

00:11:57.640 he was allowed to roam free

00:12:00.280 and go about his business.

00:12:02.860 They continue to smear

00:12:04.200 Donald Trump without evidence.

00:12:06.540 It is absolutely clear

00:12:07.720 that unlike Bill Clinton,

00:12:10.160 Donald Trump never visited

00:12:11.380 the island.

00:12:12.540 Donald Trump never visited

00:12:13.820 Epstein's palatial home

00:12:15.780 in Manhattan.

00:12:16.920 Donald Trump never went

00:12:18.180 to Epstein's ranch

00:12:19.440 in New Mexico.

00:12:20.840 Donald Trump never went

00:12:21.780 to Epstein's apartment

00:12:23.820 in Paris.

00:12:24.840 This endless smear

00:12:26.740 by Democrats

00:12:27.620 who keep insisting

00:12:28.540 that Donald Trump

00:12:29.580 is hiding something

00:12:30.600 is really getting tedious.

00:12:33.020 I would note

00:12:33.540 that the Trump Justice Department

00:12:35.300 entered motions

00:12:36.760 in both federal courts

00:12:38.100 in Florida

00:12:38.660 and in New York

00:12:39.920 asking that the grand jury

00:12:41.580 testimony

00:12:42.120 regarding the two indictments

00:12:44.140 of Jeffrey Epstein

00:12:45.040 be completely

00:12:46.120 and totally released.

00:12:47.700 And it is Democrat

00:12:49.500 federal judges

00:12:50.640 in both jurisdictions

00:12:52.020 that refused to do so.

00:12:55.140 So if there is a cover-up,

00:12:56.700 it is actually continues

00:12:57.880 to be constituted

00:12:58.940 by the Democrats

00:13:00.080 who, as I think,

00:13:02.060 are trying to use this

00:13:03.580 to distract from the fact

00:13:05.000 that they have no plan

00:13:06.940 to make our neighborhoods

00:13:09.360 and communities safer again,

00:13:11.280 no plans to bring down

00:13:12.560 the cost of housing,

00:13:14.280 no plans to create jobs,

00:13:16.240 no plans to control inflation,

00:13:19.100 no plans to seal our borders,

00:13:21.100 no plans to deport

00:13:22.700 dangerous illegals, 1.00

00:13:24.300 their entire political message 0.93

00:13:25.860 seems to be,

00:13:27.040 well, we hate Donald Trump

00:13:28.380 and that's about it.

00:13:29.920 I'm Roger Stone.

00:13:35.460 When we come back,

00:13:36.700 it turns out Donald Trump

00:13:37.700 was right again

00:13:38.620 when it comes to both jobs

00:13:39.900 and interest rates.

00:13:41.180 And we're going to examine

00:13:42.760 the curious case

00:13:44.200 of Dr. Lisa Cook,

00:13:46.400 the Federal Reserve board member,

00:13:48.480 who's been caught red-handed

00:13:50.280 lying on her mortgage forms,

00:13:53.540 something that you and I

00:13:54.440 would go to jail for

00:13:55.500 if we did it.

00:13:56.880 We'll be right back.

00:14:44.820 And we're back in the Stone Zone.

00:14:47.700 A new jobs report indicates

00:14:49.520 that, well,

00:14:50.300 President Donald Trump

00:14:51.280 was right again.

00:14:52.780 In this case,

00:14:53.780 about the Bureau of Labor Statistics

00:14:55.840 and the fact that

00:14:56.980 they have been manipulating

00:14:58.220 the jobs reports

00:14:59.100 in an attempt to help

00:15:00.480 former President Joe Biden.

00:15:02.880 An annual revision

00:15:04.000 of non-farm payrolls data

00:15:06.460 from the year ending

00:15:07.500 in March 2025

00:15:09.020 showed a steep drop

00:15:11.100 of 911,000 jobs

00:15:13.420 from the earlier estimates.

00:15:15.600 These revisions

00:15:16.300 were only 50% higher

00:15:18.440 than the adjustment

00:15:19.500 from last year

00:15:20.440 and the highest adjustment

00:15:22.220 on record since 2002.

00:15:24.780 The average job growth

00:15:26.440 was 76,000,

00:15:27.960 far, far less

00:15:29.240 than originally reported

00:15:30.220 during the final years

00:15:31.520 of the Biden regime.

00:15:34.060 President Trump

00:15:34.720 fired Erica McInturfer

00:15:37.440 from the position

00:15:38.320 of head of the Bureau

00:15:40.380 of Labor Statistics,

00:15:41.660 accusing her of fudging

00:15:42.960 the numbers

00:15:43.500 due to her partisan agenda. 1.00

00:15:45.460 He has now been proven

00:15:46.440 to be completely

00:15:47.360 and totally correct.

00:15:49.160 The White House

00:15:49.720 Press Secretary,

00:15:50.700 Caroline Levitt,

00:15:51.500 said,

00:15:51.820 So it turns out

00:16:07.560 the economy

00:16:08.160 was not on the strong footing

00:16:10.020 that Joe Biden claimed it was

00:16:12.020 before Donald Trump

00:16:12.880 came into office

00:16:13.620 and he has upended

00:16:15.480 the status quo on trade.

00:16:17.460 Although the process

00:16:18.480 of enacting tariffs

00:16:19.400 can be messy,

00:16:20.680 they will ultimately

00:16:21.580 put America

00:16:22.380 into a better position.

00:16:23.900 In the month of June,

00:16:25.200 we had a surplus

00:16:26.300 in the United States

00:16:27.860 for the first time

00:16:29.000 in 15 years.

00:16:31.420 It remains to be seen

00:16:33.040 whether Federal Reserve

00:16:34.300 Chair Jerome Powell

00:16:35.440 will have an illegal

00:16:37.040 meeting of the Federal Reserve

00:16:38.680 in the middle

00:16:39.460 of next week.

00:16:40.840 Illegal because of

00:16:42.340 one particular

00:16:43.520 Federal Reserve

00:16:45.040 board governor

00:16:46.120 who President Donald Trump

00:16:48.300 has fired.

00:16:48.920 That would be

00:16:49.760 Federal Reserve Board

00:16:51.560 Governor Lisa Cook.

00:16:53.360 Cook is challenging

00:16:55.020 the President's authority

00:16:56.820 to fire her 0.79

00:16:57.840 in a federal lawsuit

00:16:59.560 in the District of Columbia.

00:17:01.720 What's troubling

00:17:02.340 is that

00:17:03.300 that particular lawsuit

00:17:04.800 got referred

00:17:05.880 to Federal Court Judge

00:17:07.680 Gia Cobb.

00:17:09.580 It turns out

00:17:10.100 that Judge Gia Cobb

00:17:11.920 belongs to the same

00:17:13.340 black women's

00:17:14.400 college sorority

00:17:15.700 as Lisa Cook,

00:17:17.460 third member

00:17:18.560 of that sorority

00:17:20.140 is the intellectual giant

00:17:22.500 Joy Reid.

00:17:24.360 Whether the D.C.

00:17:26.140 Clerk of Courts

00:17:27.060 Andrea Cesar

00:17:28.580 can prove

00:17:29.540 that this was actually

00:17:30.540 a referral

00:17:31.580 by random selection

00:17:33.260 remains to be seen,

00:17:35.220 but how

00:17:35.880 Judiciary Chairman

00:17:37.800 Jim Jordan

00:17:38.640 is investigating

00:17:39.980 that very question.

00:17:41.660 I'm Roger Stone.

00:18:02.720 Podcast Network.

00:18:04.600 Welcome back

00:18:05.580 into the Stone Zone.

00:18:07.760 One of my favorite quotes

00:18:08.600 is from President

00:18:10.420 Theodore Roosevelt

00:18:11.560 who said,

00:18:12.940 It is not the critic

00:18:13.980 who counts,

00:18:14.660 not the man

00:18:15.220 who points out

00:18:16.060 how the strong man

00:18:17.320 stumbles

00:18:17.820 or where the doer

00:18:18.620 of deeds

00:18:19.100 could have done

00:18:20.100 them better.

00:18:21.020 The credit belongs

00:18:21.980 to the man

00:18:22.640 who's actually

00:18:23.460 in the arena,

00:18:24.880 whose face

00:18:25.580 is marred by dust

00:18:26.840 and sweat and blood,

00:18:28.380 who strives valiantly,

00:18:29.940 who errs,

00:18:30.600 who comes up short

00:18:31.540 again and again,

00:18:32.820 because there is

00:18:33.800 no effort

00:18:34.340 without error

00:18:35.200 and shortcomings,

00:18:36.400 but who actually

00:18:37.480 strives to do

00:18:38.460 the deeds,

00:18:39.340 who knows

00:18:39.980 great enthusiasms,

00:18:41.360 the great devotions,

00:18:42.740 who spends himself

00:18:43.640 in a worthy cause,

00:18:45.440 who at the best

00:18:46.120 knows in the end

00:18:47.640 the triumph

00:18:48.560 of high achievement

00:18:49.420 and who,

00:18:50.540 at the worst,

00:18:51.360 if he fails,

00:18:52.400 at least fails

00:18:53.340 while daring greatly,

00:18:55.280 so that his place

00:18:56.340 shall never be

00:18:57.340 with those cold

00:18:58.420 and timid souls

00:18:59.600 who know

00:19:00.860 neither victory

00:19:01.940 nor defeat.

00:19:03.380 Joining us now

00:19:04.560 is State Representative

00:19:05.960 Jody Barrett.

00:19:07.580 He is a proud

00:19:08.760 Tennessee state legislator

00:19:10.540 and he is a man

00:19:12.040 who has climbed

00:19:13.140 into the arena.

00:19:15.240 We don't endorse

00:19:15.880 candidates here

00:19:16.680 on the Stone Zone.

00:19:17.620 It's against our policy,

00:19:19.220 but we do showcase

00:19:21.120 young men and women

00:19:22.760 who get into the arena

00:19:24.540 to fight for the things

00:19:25.980 that they believe in

00:19:27.080 and we're honored

00:19:28.020 to have Jody Barrett

00:19:29.240 join us now.

00:19:30.340 Welcome, Jody,

00:19:31.240 to the Stone Zone.

00:19:32.640 Well, thank you so much

00:19:33.440 for having me, sir.

00:19:34.980 So you are a husband,

00:19:36.340 a father,

00:19:36.880 small business owner,

00:19:37.920 a Christian conservative,

00:19:39.080 proud Tennessean,

00:19:40.440 and based on mutual

00:19:42.500 friends of ours,

00:19:43.300 I hear that you never

00:19:44.140 back down from a fight.

00:19:46.640 And for some crazy reason,

00:19:48.680 you want to go to Congress,

00:19:50.240 not because you want

00:19:51.340 to be somebody,

00:19:52.180 but because you want

00:19:53.040 to actually do something.

00:19:55.540 I admire that spirit

00:19:57.280 and I like the fact

00:19:59.500 that you're prepared

00:20:00.880 to take on the establishment,

00:20:02.180 even when it's members

00:20:03.800 of your own party.

00:20:05.840 You've taken on

00:20:06.440 the Nashville establishment

00:20:07.460 and you've won.

00:20:08.700 You've been endorsed

00:20:09.340 by the Freedom Caucus

00:20:10.460 and now you're vying

00:20:12.220 to be the congressman

00:20:13.140 from Tennessee's

00:20:14.040 7th district.

00:20:16.100 I guess a place

00:20:17.140 I'd like to start

00:20:18.280 is on the question

00:20:20.200 of the safety

00:20:21.240 of your major cities.

00:20:23.640 We've seen how

00:20:24.140 President Trump

00:20:24.760 has intervened

00:20:26.040 by utilizing

00:20:26.900 the National Guard

00:20:28.460 in the case of D.C.,

00:20:30.520 federalizing the police

00:20:31.760 in order to make

00:20:32.960 the District of Columbia safer.

00:20:35.040 We've talked extensively

00:20:36.200 here on the Stone Zone

00:20:37.640 about the potential

00:20:39.060 for President Trump

00:20:40.200 to mobilize

00:20:40.760 the National Guard

00:20:42.460 in Chicago,

00:20:43.420 which is swiftly emerging

00:20:44.800 as the murder capital

00:20:45.960 of the world.

00:20:47.160 Do you think

00:20:47.940 it's necessary

00:20:50.300 for President Trump

00:20:51.900 to mobilize

00:20:52.620 the National Guard

00:20:53.920 for the city of Memphis?

00:20:55.580 Well, I certainly think

00:20:57.780 that the leadership

00:20:59.100 in Memphis,

00:21:00.260 which has been disjointed

00:21:02.860 and certainly ineffective

00:21:05.120 for as long

00:21:06.260 as I can remember

00:21:07.260 as a 51-year-old man,

00:21:10.080 that the city of Memphis,

00:21:11.660 the people that live there

00:21:12.980 in that city

00:21:13.580 are begging for someone

00:21:14.940 to do something

00:21:15.980 to improve the conditions

00:21:18.540 of living and safety

00:21:20.100 in their city.

00:21:21.280 And it's certainly not coming

00:21:22.420 from the locally elected officials

00:21:24.460 that they have.

00:21:25.860 I would love to see

00:21:27.080 our governor here

00:21:28.000 in Tennessee do more

00:21:29.160 to step in

00:21:29.880 to help that situation out.

00:21:31.660 But it may just be

00:21:32.980 that President Trump

00:21:34.180 is the man

00:21:34.740 that is necessary

00:21:35.980 at this time

00:21:37.360 in order to take

00:21:38.480 the steps

00:21:39.380 and make the strong decisions

00:21:40.580 that it's going to take

00:21:42.160 in order to clean

00:21:42.720 that city up.

00:21:44.620 I note that you are

00:21:46.020 in an 11-way race

00:21:48.080 with, therefore,

00:21:48.940 10 other candidates.

00:21:50.180 And President Donald Trump

00:21:52.180 is so incredibly popular

00:21:54.140 among Republican voters.

00:21:56.060 I worked for President

00:21:56.940 Ronald Reagan,

00:21:57.680 who was extraordinarily popular,

00:21:59.740 but I've never seen

00:22:00.860 polling numbers

00:22:01.580 like those of Donald J. Trump.

00:22:03.660 He even exceeds

00:22:04.900 the great Ronald Reagan.

00:22:06.900 I have every confidence

00:22:08.180 that in this 11-way race,

00:22:09.960 every candidate,

00:22:11.360 even those who are really rhinos, 0.94

00:22:13.260 are suddenly claiming

00:22:14.180 to be America first,

00:22:16.280 Trump Republicans.

00:22:17.200 what distinguishes you

00:22:19.420 as a reliable

00:22:22.740 America first conservative?

00:22:25.240 Well, I think my three-year record

00:22:27.660 in the state legislature

00:22:28.740 is something that nobody else

00:22:30.420 in this race has

00:22:31.440 to hang their hat on.

00:22:33.040 I think if you look

00:22:34.520 at the way I voted,

00:22:36.180 I'm the only candidate

00:22:36.980 in the race

00:22:37.520 that has a 100%

00:22:39.100 conservative voting record

00:22:40.720 awarded by two different agencies.

00:22:44.640 You look at that,

00:22:45.840 and then you also look

00:22:46.780 at the type of bills

00:22:47.700 that I have sponsored

00:22:48.600 and filed and advocated for

00:22:50.860 since I've been here.

00:22:52.540 The voters don't have to guess

00:22:54.160 what type of conservative

00:22:55.360 legislator I would be

00:22:56.880 or if I would actually

00:22:57.960 be a conservative.

00:22:59.140 They would know that.

00:23:00.160 But the Trump administration,

00:23:02.000 the Trump agenda,

00:23:03.020 I've been running

00:23:03.620 those types of bills

00:23:04.780 from the moment

00:23:06.220 I arrived here

00:23:06.980 with election integrity bills,

00:23:10.640 anti-illegal immigration bills,

00:23:12.580 things that address

00:23:14.160 our medical freedom

00:23:16.000 and promote liberty

00:23:18.120 and autonomy.

00:23:19.500 I've been doing that

00:23:20.560 for three years straight,

00:23:21.720 and I would hope

00:23:22.320 that I would be able

00:23:23.000 to have the opportunity

00:23:23.780 to do the same thing in D.C.

00:23:26.360 Now, when radical leftists

00:23:28.600 stormed the Tennessee Capitol,

00:23:30.640 I noticed that you didn't blink.

00:23:32.160 You stood up,

00:23:33.180 you voted to expel

00:23:34.380 the instigators,

00:23:35.280 and you aggressively

00:23:36.060 took the fight

00:23:36.880 to the lying corporate media,

00:23:38.820 which completely distorted

00:23:40.040 what actually happened that day.

00:23:41.960 Tell us, in your own words,

00:23:44.060 exactly what transpired.

00:23:46.320 Well, we had two young legislators

00:23:49.440 that were freshmen,

00:23:50.940 one that came in with me

00:23:53.060 and another one that had come in

00:23:54.240 in the middle of that session

00:23:55.480 that decided to use their platform

00:23:59.340 and their voice

00:24:00.420 in a way to steal the spotlight

00:24:04.680 away from the victims

00:24:06.060 of the Covenant school shooting

00:24:07.480 and make it about them

00:24:09.660 and turn this into a way

00:24:11.900 for them to raise millions of dollars

00:24:14.620 and increase their political capital

00:24:17.780 here in the state

00:24:18.940 and across the country.

00:24:20.220 And they did just that.

00:24:21.360 After they were expelled,

00:24:22.560 they went on a tour

00:24:24.240 of every possible media outlet

00:24:26.640 that you could think of

00:24:27.820 that would give them comfort

00:24:29.620 and shield

00:24:30.440 and the spotlight

00:24:32.360 that they did not deserve.

00:24:33.640 And honestly,

00:24:34.680 it was sickening to watch.

00:24:35.880 I note that Tennessee,

00:24:39.620 I believe,

00:24:39.960 is an open carry state,

00:24:41.920 a state where conservatives

00:24:43.900 cherish their Second Amendment rights.

00:24:46.680 Yet, incredibly,

00:24:48.380 who ran as an outsider businessman,

00:24:52.340 Republican for governor,

00:24:53.940 is putting forward

00:24:54.860 a red flag gun grab.

00:24:58.460 This is a vitally important issue.

00:25:01.200 You have been a leader

00:25:02.980 against the governor's proposals,

00:25:06.640 a governor I might know

00:25:07.600 of your own party.

00:25:09.380 Why is this so important

00:25:10.700 and how does it shape your fight

00:25:12.220 overall against federal overreach?

00:25:15.880 Well, I think we saw

00:25:16.760 what happens when you have a leader

00:25:19.320 that allows the politics of the moment

00:25:24.060 to interfere with his judgment,

00:25:27.400 which is exactly what happened

00:25:29.240 after the Covenant school shooting.

00:25:31.200 He immediately started advocating

00:25:33.380 for a red flag law

00:25:34.880 to be passed in our legislature,

00:25:36.480 even though we were already

00:25:37.660 near the end of that session.

00:25:40.880 And he did not take no for an answer

00:25:43.060 and came back over that summer

00:25:44.880 and called a special session.

00:25:47.000 I was one of four Republicans

00:25:48.680 that voted to adjourn

00:25:50.700 that special session

00:25:51.600 before it ever started.

00:25:53.320 Thankfully, we were able

00:25:55.340 to defeat that measure

00:25:56.580 in the special session.

00:25:58.060 And I came back

00:25:59.080 that following year

00:26:00.480 and drafted and filed

00:26:03.460 and got passed

00:26:04.440 the anti-red flag law

00:26:06.080 in Tennessee,

00:26:06.560 which preempts the entire area

00:26:09.080 of that law to the state level

00:26:10.800 so that these liberal cities

00:26:12.780 like Memphis and Nashville

00:26:14.660 and Knoxville

00:26:15.440 don't start creating

00:26:16.620 their own ordinances

00:26:17.760 at the local level.

00:26:19.220 Congresswoman Anna Polina Luna

00:26:23.220 of Florida,

00:26:23.940 who has emerged

00:26:24.960 as a real firebrand.

00:26:27.260 And I admit to you,

00:26:28.100 by the way,

00:26:28.540 that I did not initially

00:26:30.120 as an individual

00:26:31.440 prior to my even having

00:26:33.120 this show,

00:26:34.120 I did not support

00:26:35.240 her candidacy.

00:26:36.640 I turned out to be

00:26:37.780 completely wrong.

00:26:38.740 She's been a guest

00:26:39.400 on this show now

00:26:40.240 several times,

00:26:41.440 whether it is her leadership

00:26:42.640 and making sure

00:26:44.200 that all of the documents

00:26:45.940 and videos,

00:26:47.400 audios,

00:26:47.980 and evidence

00:26:48.440 regarding the assassination

00:26:50.080 of John F. Kennedy,

00:26:51.820 Robert F. Kennedy,

00:26:52.780 and Dr. Martin Luther King

00:26:53.980 are ultimately released

00:26:55.380 to the American people,

00:26:56.540 or her fight

00:26:57.960 to end insider trading

00:27:01.020 by members of Congress.

00:27:02.680 She really is,

00:27:03.920 to me,

00:27:04.500 a beacon

00:27:05.180 of the new style

00:27:06.900 America First conservative.

00:27:08.940 She's alienated some

00:27:10.020 in her own party

00:27:10.860 because she's

00:27:11.640 such an ardent reformer.

00:27:12.940 How do you feel

00:27:14.600 about the proposal

00:27:15.940 she's put forward

00:27:16.820 to ban insider trading?

00:27:19.040 In fact,

00:27:19.380 I would suggest

00:27:20.220 banning all stock trading

00:27:21.880 by members of Congress.

00:27:23.840 Well,

00:27:24.620 it cannot be argued

00:27:25.980 that there's not

00:27:26.940 an advantage

00:27:28.160 to having knowledge

00:27:30.020 about what type

00:27:31.060 of impact

00:27:31.900 that certain legislation

00:27:33.680 might have

00:27:34.520 as it's coming

00:27:35.680 down the pike. 0.99

00:27:37.600 All too often,

00:27:38.420 the public doesn't know

00:27:39.540 exactly what's been

00:27:40.580 going on behind

00:27:41.480 closed doors

00:27:42.180 as legislation

00:27:43.380 is being drafted

00:27:44.240 and negotiated.

00:27:46.160 Sometimes even

00:27:47.120 our own members

00:27:48.120 of Congress

00:27:48.680 don't get to read

00:27:49.920 these bills

00:27:50.360 before they actually

00:27:51.120 vote on them

00:27:51.780 under the former

00:27:53.320 majority

00:27:54.520 that the Democrats held.

00:27:56.200 And so,

00:27:56.900 this type of structure

00:27:59.460 where people have

00:28:00.620 that type of

00:28:01.280 inside access

00:28:02.440 and knowledge

00:28:03.280 certainly opens

00:28:05.260 the door

00:28:05.820 for them to take

00:28:06.600 advantage of that

00:28:07.480 to improve

00:28:09.220 their own

00:28:09.980 financial condition,

00:28:11.060 and that is simply

00:28:12.440 not the way

00:28:13.380 America has ever

00:28:14.320 operated

00:28:14.900 and it certainly

00:28:16.340 should be outlawed

00:28:17.680 and banned

00:28:18.420 by all members

00:28:19.480 of Congress

00:28:19.900 from being able

00:28:20.500 to take advantage

00:28:21.420 of their position

00:28:22.120 in that way.

00:28:23.400 I want to ask you

00:28:24.860 now about

00:28:25.860 the fight

00:28:26.500 to make America

00:28:27.260 healthy again.

00:28:28.440 Secretary of HHS

00:28:29.780 Robert Kennedy

00:28:30.520 has come under

00:28:31.800 heavy, heavy fire

00:28:33.160 from the Democrats

00:28:34.000 because of the changes

00:28:35.900 he's making

00:28:36.640 in national health policy.

00:28:37.920 He's been successful

00:28:39.560 in removing

00:28:40.160 certain toxic

00:28:41.580 substances,

00:28:42.840 dyes,

00:28:43.740 and other ingredients

00:28:44.900 in our food.

00:28:46.180 To me,

00:28:46.500 that is a big victory

00:28:47.540 in itself.

00:28:48.720 It just boggles

00:28:49.840 the mind

00:28:50.340 that you can

00:28:50.920 buy a box

00:28:51.940 of breakfast cereal

00:28:53.040 in the United States

00:28:54.140 and it includes

00:28:55.180 all of these

00:28:55.900 dangerous additives.

00:28:57.040 When you buy

00:28:57.420 the same brand

00:28:58.300 in Europe,

00:28:59.420 those additives

00:29:00.180 are already illegal

00:29:01.420 and banned.

00:29:03.100 Now,

00:29:03.760 he is cutting back

00:29:05.180 the childhood

00:29:06.300 vaccination mandate

00:29:08.600 for infants

00:29:09.800 and for children,

00:29:10.840 specifically

00:29:11.420 pertaining to COVID-19

00:29:13.480 but also other vaccinations.

00:29:15.960 Then when we examine

00:29:17.400 where the

00:29:19.020 Democrat legislators,

00:29:21.040 particularly in the Senate,

00:29:22.160 who are attacking him,

00:29:24.000 questioning his motives,

00:29:25.840 demanding his resignation,

00:29:27.640 are getting

00:29:28.180 their campaign funds,

00:29:30.180 they've all taken

00:29:31.460 millions of dollars

00:29:32.980 from Big Pharma.

00:29:34.140 Where do you stand

00:29:35.960 in this fight?

00:29:37.860 Well,

00:29:38.040 I think what we're seeing,

00:29:39.420 the fight that

00:29:41.520 Mr. Kennedy is in

00:29:44.720 is indicative

00:29:46.400 of this unholy alliance

00:29:48.180 that exists

00:29:49.140 between Big Pharma,

00:29:51.640 Big Ag,

00:29:52.780 Big Food,

00:29:54.260 Big Corporate America,

00:29:56.100 who they're all

00:29:57.400 kind of intermingled

00:29:58.940 and working together

00:30:00.240 because an unhealthy

00:30:02.840 American becomes

00:30:04.820 a consumer

00:30:07.420 for life

00:30:08.280 of not only

00:30:09.800 the foods

00:30:10.440 that they have

00:30:11.040 to buy and eat,

00:30:11.920 but if we make them

00:30:12.700 sick along the way

00:30:14.260 by what we're feeding them,

00:30:15.360 then they become

00:30:16.000 customers of the

00:30:16.960 pharmacy companies.

00:30:18.500 And it's just,

00:30:19.120 they're all feeding

00:30:19.940 off of themselves

00:30:20.760 from cradle to grave.

00:30:23.120 We are seen as marks

00:30:24.800 that money can be

00:30:26.680 made off of.

00:30:27.360 And that's why

00:30:28.740 I think we see

00:30:29.520 such a spirited

00:30:31.700 and virulent

00:30:33.020 opposition

00:30:34.180 to what

00:30:35.020 Mr. Kennedy

00:30:35.820 is trying to do.

00:30:36.860 And I applaud

00:30:38.020 the president

00:30:38.500 for giving him

00:30:39.600 the leash

00:30:41.400 and room

00:30:42.560 to fight this fight

00:30:44.020 and take it

00:30:45.020 to the American people

00:30:45.940 and let the public

00:30:46.880 decide for themselves

00:30:47.820 what is the right

00:30:48.920 thing for us.

00:30:49.580 I agree.

00:30:51.320 We've talked about it

00:30:52.200 in yesterday's show

00:30:53.400 very extensively.

00:30:55.360 I guess if I had

00:30:56.740 a role model

00:30:57.840 in the House

00:30:58.760 from Tennessee,

00:30:59.860 it would be

00:31:00.860 Tim Burchett,

00:31:02.140 who I love having

00:31:03.080 on the show.

00:31:04.120 I love Tim Burchett

00:31:05.160 because he says

00:31:06.560 the things that

00:31:07.140 other people are thinking

00:31:08.140 but they won't say.

00:31:10.120 He doesn't care

00:31:10.980 what people think

00:31:11.760 of him.

00:31:12.540 He cares about

00:31:13.320 the issues.

00:31:14.200 He cares about

00:31:14.740 standing up

00:31:15.420 for the U.S.

00:31:16.180 Constitution.

00:31:16.780 that to me

00:31:18.640 is the ideal.

00:31:21.260 If you got elected

00:31:22.320 to Congress,

00:31:22.980 I'm praying

00:31:23.500 that you would be

00:31:24.000 like him.

00:31:25.460 Well,

00:31:26.120 I have the pleasure

00:31:27.440 of calling Tim

00:31:28.200 a friend.

00:31:29.080 I came up to D.C.

00:31:30.960 at the beginning

00:31:31.580 of this campaign

00:31:32.440 as most candidates

00:31:33.920 do,

00:31:34.380 to do the dog

00:31:35.840 and pony show

00:31:36.580 and do the 15-minute

00:31:38.380 speed dating meetings

00:31:39.500 with everybody

00:31:40.100 that you have to meet.

00:31:41.320 I spent about

00:31:42.240 45 minutes

00:31:43.060 with Congressman Burchett

00:31:44.500 and to his credit,

00:31:46.040 he told me

00:31:46.940 what are you doing here?

00:31:48.600 There's nothing up here

00:31:49.580 for you but money

00:31:50.560 and enemies.

00:31:52.420 Go back home

00:31:53.060 and talk to your people

00:31:54.400 and that's how

00:31:54.840 you're going to get elected.

00:31:56.060 As long as you do that,

00:31:56.940 you'll be fine.

00:31:57.600 And so he was right

00:31:59.380 as he generally is

00:32:00.860 and so I've come back

00:32:02.240 and spent most of my time

00:32:04.140 just trying to make sure

00:32:04.960 I'm in front of

00:32:06.120 as many people

00:32:06.780 as I can here locally

00:32:07.860 and not worried

00:32:08.800 about the other side

00:32:10.220 of things.

00:32:11.080 All right.

00:32:11.480 We're going to have

00:32:11.980 to wrap it up there.

00:32:13.120 Jody Barrett,

00:32:13.620 thank you very much

00:32:14.380 for joining us today

00:32:15.540 in the Stone Zone.

00:32:16.800 Folks,

00:32:17.240 don't go away

00:32:17.880 because we'll be right back

00:32:19.000 with more hot political news

00:32:20.640 on the other side.

00:32:22.780 The Stone Zone,

00:32:24.320 entertaining and informative

00:32:26.140 on the Red Apple Podcast Network.

00:32:31.360 The Stone Zone

00:32:32.640 on the Red Apple Podcast Network.

00:32:36.780 Welcome back

00:32:37.720 to the Stone Zone.

00:32:38.680 It turns out

00:32:39.540 when the Federal Emergency

00:32:41.080 Management Administration

00:32:42.600 or FEMA employees

00:32:44.320 were supposed to be

00:32:45.240 providing help

00:32:46.060 and assistance

00:32:47.080 to Americans

00:32:47.760 stricken by terrible

00:32:49.200 national disasters

00:32:50.180 and tragedies,

00:32:51.420 they were instead

00:32:52.140 sending sexual text messages

00:32:54.440 to foreign nationals

00:32:55.600 as well as watching

00:32:57.020 illicit pornography

00:32:58.320 while on the clock.

00:33:00.240 Two FEMA employees

00:33:01.620 have been fired

00:33:02.580 after the Department

00:33:04.100 of Homeland Security

00:33:05.220 Insider Threat Program

00:33:06.480 found that they were

00:33:07.660 up to these lascivious actions

00:33:09.400 while on the job,

00:33:10.780 actually sending

00:33:11.640 sexual text messages

00:33:12.840 at classified federal facilities.

00:33:15.620 They were also watching

00:33:16.560 pornography

00:33:17.140 in other instances.

00:33:18.640 DHS Secretary

00:33:19.820 Christine Noem said,

00:33:21.060 these individuals

00:33:22.200 had access to critical information

00:33:24.120 and intelligence

00:33:25.320 and were entrusted

00:33:26.160 to safeguard Americans

00:33:27.360 for emergencies.

00:33:28.520 Instead, 0.71

00:33:28.900 they were consuming porn.

00:33:31.140 In at least one other case,

00:33:32.920 pornography consumed

00:33:33.820 was racially charged

00:33:35.260 and involved bestiality.

00:33:37.180 You can't make this stuff up, folks.

00:33:39.480 These are the type

00:33:40.380 of public servants

00:33:41.340 who've been soaking up

00:33:42.340 taxpayer money

00:33:43.180 on the government dole

00:33:44.340 for generations,

00:33:45.260 but their free ride

00:33:46.220 is over.

00:33:47.460 It's time to downsize

00:33:48.600 all of these government bureaucraties

00:33:50.300 and replace them

00:33:51.100 with nothing,

00:33:52.240 giving power back

00:33:53.260 to the states

00:33:53.900 and the people

00:33:54.720 that was intended

00:33:55.840 under the Constitution.

00:33:58.480 Emergency management

00:33:59.720 should be handled

00:34:00.420 by the states

00:34:01.140 who provide block funding

00:34:03.020 as opposed to

00:34:04.080 these insensitive

00:34:05.120 federal agencies.

00:34:06.540 We saw this

00:34:07.640 in the horrific hurricane

00:34:09.440 in North Carolina

00:34:10.460 and these FEMA employees

00:34:13.480 have been fired.

00:34:15.600 Meanwhile,

00:34:16.580 a racial motive

00:34:17.880 has been confirmed

00:34:19.080 in the brutal stabbing attack

00:34:21.120 of the Ukrainian refugee

00:34:23.000 in Charlotte, North Carolina.

00:34:25.740 The perpetrator,

00:34:27.340 DeCarlos Brown,

00:34:28.500 ran through the train

00:34:29.380 yelling,

00:34:30.240 I got that white girl, 1.00

00:34:31.660 I got that white girl, 1.00

00:34:32.840 after brutally 0.98

00:34:33.940 stabbing his victim,

00:34:35.760 Irna Zarazuta,

00:34:38.860 who died shortly

00:34:39.880 after the incident.

00:34:40.920 FBI Director

00:34:41.640 Kash Patel

00:34:42.440 and Transportation

00:34:43.640 Secretary Sean Duffy

00:34:45.060 have announced

00:34:46.000 a formal investigation

00:34:48.000 into the incident

00:34:48.940 with the possibility

00:34:50.180 of cutting

00:34:50.680 federal transportation

00:34:51.780 dollars to cities

00:34:52.760 who refuse to put

00:34:54.020 criminals behind the bars.

00:34:56.220 DeCarlos Brown

00:34:57.220 had been arrested

00:34:58.000 14 times

00:34:59.740 for various criminal acts,

00:35:01.800 many of them

00:35:02.240 violent crimes,

00:35:03.360 yet walked away

00:35:04.180 without bail

00:35:05.040 during a recent offense

00:35:06.240 just earlier this year.

00:35:08.100 President Trump

00:35:08.900 responding to the attack

00:35:10.080 said,

00:35:10.560 we cannot allow

00:35:12.080 a depraved

00:35:13.300 criminal element

00:35:14.320 of violence

00:35:15.340 and violent repeat offenders

00:35:18.080 to conduce

00:35:18.700 spreading destruction

00:35:19.520 and death

00:35:20.460 throughout our country. 0.60

00:35:21.980 Liberals,

00:35:22.620 including CNN's

00:35:23.840 chief media analyst

00:35:24.920 Brian Stelter,

00:35:26.980 are claiming

00:35:27.580 that the publicization

00:35:28.900 of this murder

00:35:29.580 is baldly racist 0.60

00:35:31.460 and accusing Republicans 0.75

00:35:33.780 of turning it

00:35:34.820 into a political symbol

00:35:36.620 when in fact

00:35:37.660 all those media outlets

00:35:39.220 who are reporting

00:35:40.320 about it

00:35:40.680 are reporting

00:35:41.220 are the facts.

00:35:42.960 In actuality,

00:35:43.860 the murder speaks

00:35:44.560 to a broader problem

00:35:45.620 of black-on-white crime

00:35:47.180 throughout the nation.

00:35:48.460 The Black Lives Matter

00:35:49.320 narrative on crime

00:35:50.320 was laughably false.

00:35:52.240 Black-on-white crime

00:35:53.040 happens significantly

00:35:53.860 more than white-on-black crime.

00:35:55.660 It does not make me

00:35:56.400 a racist to say that.

00:35:57.460 It is an undisputed fact.

00:36:00.460 The media has deliberately

00:36:01.880 misled the public

00:36:02.820 on this issue

00:36:03.520 and it's time

00:36:04.320 that they understand

00:36:05.120 the truth

00:36:05.620 because they become

00:36:06.980 the next victim

00:36:08.160 of another death

00:36:09.340 by diversity

00:36:10.400 due to the failed

00:36:11.920 experiment

00:36:12.660 of multiculturalism.

00:36:15.340 multiculturalism.

00:36:18.180 Pardon me.

00:36:19.120 Cracker Barrel

00:36:19.840 in the meantime

00:36:20.480 has suspended

00:36:21.380 the redesign

00:36:22.000 of their restaurants

00:36:22.780 after the incredible

00:36:24.120 public backlash

00:36:25.300 against their

00:36:26.080 changing their logo.

00:36:27.540 They announced

00:36:28.000 that they are effectively

00:36:28.780 ending the remodel

00:36:30.220 of their stores

00:36:30.800 across the country

00:36:31.660 after there was

00:36:32.740 a massive public

00:36:33.700 pushback

00:36:34.680 after they 0.97

00:36:36.380 really dumbed

00:36:37.860 down their logo

00:36:38.900 and did away

00:36:39.920 with its rustic character.

00:36:41.420 This is an iconic

00:36:43.180 American brand

00:36:44.340 Cracker Barrel

00:36:45.140 back down

00:36:45.840 stated in a press release

00:36:47.820 your old country store

00:36:49.340 is here to stay

00:36:50.120 you've shared your voices

00:36:51.480 in recent weeks

00:36:52.400 not just on our logo

00:36:53.760 but also on our restaurants

00:36:55.320 and we are

00:36:56.260 continuing to listen.

00:36:58.080 Today we're suspending

00:36:59.020 our remodels.

00:37:00.160 If your restaurant

00:37:00.860 hasn't been remodeled

00:37:01.920 you don't need to worry

00:37:03.220 because it won't be.

00:37:05.080 President Trump

00:37:05.800 lauded the Cracker Barrel

00:37:07.280 decision

00:37:07.760 noted that they had

00:37:10.000 billions of dollars

00:37:11.120 for the free press

00:37:11.980 and they ultimately

00:37:13.440 did the right thing

00:37:14.540 returning to common sense.

00:37:17.100 I had no plans

00:37:18.080 to go to Cracker Barrel

00:37:19.220 but now that they

00:37:20.540 have backed down

00:37:21.360 you know

00:37:21.800 I'm going to go

00:37:22.400 check it out.
