00:04:47.400 had multiple conversations with the then-Russian ambassador
00:04:51.060 prior to their confirmation for that position,
00:04:54.260 but you see, the facts don't ever really matter here.
00:04:58.360 Flynn, my good friend, was charged with making false statements to the FBI,
00:05:01.720 which he denied, but when prosecutors threatened to charge his son,
00:05:05.740 he unfortunately pled guilty.
00:05:07.720 I sent them, Kobe Bragg, down the violation of policy
00:05:11.560 in an on-the-stage interview with MSNBC's Nicole Wallace,
00:05:16.520 a former Bush operatic now stinking up the place on MSNBC,
00:05:24.400 something I wouldn't have done or gotten away with
00:05:26.180 with a more organized administration,
00:05:28.380 in the George W. Bush administration, for example,
00:05:30.740 or even the Obama administration,
00:05:32.520 but I thought, it's early enough, let's just send a couple of guys over.

00:05:42.340 whose advice Trump never got the benefit of,
00:05:45.700 Comey's idle abuse of power led to years of torment.

00:05:52.920 most of his savings, fighting the case
00:05:55.040 before President Trump correctly, ultimately pardoned him.
00:05:58.640 Even after the U.S. Justice Department
00:06:01.000 moved in federal court in D.C. to dismiss the case,
00:06:05.300 Judge Sullivan refused,
00:06:07.940 appointing one of his cronies,
00:06:10.120 a corrupt prosecutor from New York,

00:06:18.340 something that Judge Sullivan had no authority to do,
00:06:21.280 and for which Judge Sullivan should face articles of impeachment

00:06:31.120 and to the people of America is unforgivable.

00:06:36.560 And Comey should be punished to the fullest extent of the law.
00:06:40.820 Then Miranda Devine goes on to talk a bit about me,
00:06:45.100 pointing out that I was charged with the exact same offenses as Comey.
00:06:49.800 In other words, making false statements to Congress
00:06:52.600 and obstruction of a congressional proceeding.
00:06:55.940 And, like Flynn, this was over the fake Russian collusion allegations.
00:07:00.500 It wasn't until a federal judge,
00:07:03.560 in a lawsuit, strangely enough, brought by BuzzFeed,
00:07:07.380 ordered the Department of Justice to release the fully unredacted,
00:07:12.060 long-hidden final report of Robert Mueller, the special counsel,
00:07:16.740 we learned that Mueller himself could not sugarcoat the fact
00:07:20.260 that he had actually found no evidence of Russian collusion,
00:07:24.740 WikiLeaks collaboration, or any other crime on my part.
00:07:30.260 Nonetheless, even though my charges are identical
00:07:34.260 to those of former FBI Director Comey,
00:07:38.800 Comey was allowed to turn himself in,
00:07:41.740 and then given a drop-dead date of October 9th,
00:07:44.880 meaning he can saunter into the authorities
00:07:48.400 and turn himself in voluntarily.
00:07:50.140 In my case, there was a pre-dawn raid on January 25th, 2019,
00:07:55.600 in which a heavily armed FBI SWAT team stormed my home
00:07:59.380 with a CNN camera and crew to capture my arrest
00:08:04.020 as my wife and I were frog-marched out in our pajamas at gunpoint.
00:08:08.040 Yes, I lost my home, my savings, my insurance, even my car
00:08:12.700 in the endless legal saga, which also ended
00:08:15.540 only when President Trump recognized that I was being pressured,
00:08:20.140 essentially, to testify falsely against him.
00:08:23.340 In other words, Robert Mueller, having spent $32 million
00:08:27.940 with unlimited legal authority, unlimited manpower,
00:08:32.200 and unlimited staff, could find no Russian collusion
00:08:36.740 because none existed.
00:08:39.320 There is no better example of the two-tiered justice system
00:08:42.440 than the way I was treated
00:08:43.940 and the way James Comey has been treated.
00:08:46.900 The judge, in my case, issued a broad gag order
00:08:49.300 which prevented me from defending myself in public,
00:08:52.860 arguing that my public defense could, quote,
00:08:55.380 taint the jury pool, close quote,
00:08:58.300 which, of course, does not explain
00:08:59.700 why she left the gag order in place
00:09:01.460 after my conviction and after I was sentenced.
00:09:05.300 So why is there no gag order on James Comey?
00:09:08.560 Why has he continued to allow to post on social media?
00:09:12.520 It's a good question.
00:09:13.980 As soon as he was indicted last week,
00:09:15.760 Comey posted a self-righteous,
00:09:17.760 self-pitying video on Instagram
00:09:19.220 declaring his innocence and posing as a resistance hero.
00:09:23.080 My family and I have known for years
00:09:25.320 that there are costs for standing up to Donald Trump.
00:09:27.580 We couldn't imagine ourselves living any other way.
00:09:30.180 We will not live in our knees, he said.
00:09:33.040 It is interesting that Peter Navarro,
00:09:35.840 another senior advisor of President Trump's first administration,
00:09:39.000 was jailed last month for four months
00:09:40.880 for defying the congressional subpoena
00:09:42.800 from the January 6th Committee,
00:09:44.620 the first time in 40 years anyone has been sent to jail
00:09:47.420 for contempt of Congress.
00:09:50.420 Like me, Peter Navarro wants to know
00:09:52.780 why Comey's being treated with kid gloves.
00:09:55.100 In contrast to his own brutal treatment,
00:09:57.660 in 2022 at Reagan National Airport,
00:09:59.900 he was boarding a pain when he was handcuffed,
00:10:02.560 shackled in leg irons, strip searched,
00:10:04.760 and thrown into a jail cell.
00:10:06.580 So how come James Comey's allowed to self-surrender
00:10:09.240 when they sent five FBI agents to take me down, he asks.
00:10:14.060 My message to the Republican National Convention
00:10:15.920 the day I got out of prison was simple.
00:10:17.360 If we don't hold them accountable,
00:10:19.580 they will do it again.
00:10:21.280 And there you have it.
00:10:23.160 So this idea that if we now hold those accountable
00:10:26.520 for the greatest single dirty trick in American history,
00:10:31.020 for a massive abuse of power
00:10:33.440 that is without parallel in political or governmental history,
00:10:37.740 in which they use the full authority of the U.S. government
00:10:40.460 and the capabilities of our intelligence agencies
00:10:43.320 to perpetrate a massive, illicit, illegal scheme
00:10:47.180 to undo the results of the 2016 election,
00:10:51.220 they will simply do it again.
00:10:53.740 So the indictments must not just include Comey,
00:10:57.440 but also, let's lay it out,
00:11:00.060 Barack Obama, Hillary Clinton,
00:11:02.500 General James Clapper, Lisa Page,
00:11:04.680 Peter Strzok, Rod Rosenstein,
00:11:06.580 and the FBI agents who stormed my home,
00:11:09.800 as far as I'm concerned.
00:11:11.180 There's not a martyr among them,
00:11:12.760 only perpetrators.
00:11:14.680 Among those who must be prosecuted
00:11:16.740 are former CIA Director John Brennan,
00:11:19.680 New York Attorney General Letitia James,
00:11:21.900 and Democrat Senator Adam Schiff,
00:11:24.260 all of them currently under current federal investigation.
00:11:29.100 This is an important point,
00:11:31.780 but I hate to say it,
00:11:32.760 it's important not to lose perspective
00:11:34.140 on the whole Comey indictment.
00:11:36.580 There's no reason to get carried away.
00:11:39.400 Yes, it's great that Comey was finally charged,
00:11:41.920 and yes, it's great that Lindsay Halligan
00:11:44.380 pulled it all together in just three days.

00:11:50.080 about the prosecution of Comey,
00:11:52.440 but somehow the New York Times
00:11:56.000 failed to mention
00:11:57.220 that federal prosecutor Eric Siebert
00:12:00.900 had a stunning conflict of interest
00:12:03.500 first revealed here on the Stone Zone.
00:12:06.580 He should have recused himself
00:12:08.680 because his father-in-law,
00:12:11.540 his wife's father,
00:12:13.460 was the godfather
00:12:14.720 to FBI Director James Comey's daughter.
