00:04:57.980 other than the fact that no one had ever been charged under that law,

00:05:01.560 so it was clearly a case of selective and politically motivated prosecution,

00:05:06.560 proven by the fact that Letitia James ran for attorney general, 0.84

00:05:10.160 saying that if she was elected, she would, quote, get, close quote, Donald Trump.

00:05:14.120 That was before she had any evidence of wrongdoing on his part.

00:05:18.360 And as I point out, Letitia James, as the New York attorney general,

00:05:23.140 has actually charged and convicted people for the exact same mortgage and bank fraud crimes

00:05:32.200 Now, this case will be overseen by U.S. District Judge Jamar Walker,

00:05:36.760 a Biden appointee who, upon appointment,

00:05:39.260 became the first openly gay judge in Virginia history.

00:05:44.740 or he'll feel the need to protect Letitia James.
