00:02:51.960 Prosecutors believe that James committed mortgage fraud when she lied to a bank

00:02:57.200 about a property that she acquired in Norfolk, Virginia,

00:03:01.080 and she claimed that was her home and her principal legal residence,

00:03:06.740 but it was instead an investment property.

00:03:10.300 This allowed her to fraudulently pocket $18,933,

00:03:14.820 which means the claims by the lawfare.com website that she only made $800 was wrong,

00:03:24.800 and she would otherwise have been forced to pay that same amount in taxes.

00:04:38.440 Now, she indicted Donald Trump in New York State

00:04:42.060 under a law in which no person has ever previously been charged,

00:04:46.660 claiming that he had inflated the value of his assets

00:04:50.560 that he used as collateral to obtain commercial real estate loans.

00:04:55.860 The problem with that narrative is,

00:04:57.980 other than the fact that no one had ever been charged under that law,

00:05:01.560 so it was clearly a case of selective and politically motivated prosecution,

00:05:06.560 proven by the fact that Letitia James ran for attorney general,

00:05:10.160 saying that if she was elected, she would, quote, get, close quote, Donald Trump.

00:05:14.120 That was before she had any evidence of wrongdoing on his part.

00:05:18.360 And as I point out, Letitia James, as the New York attorney general,

00:05:23.140 has actually charged and convicted people for the exact same mortgage and bank fraud crimes

00:05:28.880 that she herself stands charged with.

00:05:32.200 Now, this case will be overseen by U.S. District Judge Jamar Walker,

00:05:36.760 a Biden appointee who, upon appointment,

00:05:39.260 became the first openly gay judge in Virginia history.

00:05:42.700 It remains to be seen whether he'll be impartial

00:05:44.740 or he'll feel the need to protect Letitia James.

00:05:48.160 When I was charged in the District of Columbia,

00:05:50.400 the judge specifically gagged me.

00:05:52.580 I was not entitled to defend myself in any forum whatsoever,

00:05:57.640 not radio, not television, not cable, not social media, not online.

00:06:02.180 I also was specifically prohibited from arguing

00:06:04.980 that I had been selectively prosecuted,

00:06:11.020 that there was a political motivation in the charges against me.

00:06:16.200 Will the judge hold Letitia James to the same standard?

00:06:22.600 But if she does not go down on this particular charge,

00:06:26.020 in my opinion, it would be because of the jurisdiction.

00:06:29.100 Eastern District of Virginia, which is right outside Washington, D.C.,

00:06:32.440 is among the most liberal jurisdictions in the country.

00:06:35.640 That is demonstrated by the judge this has been assigned to

00:06:41.240 that the jury will be overwhelmingly made up of, well, liberal Democrats.

00:06:48.660 when you find these virulent, Trump-hating Democrats,
