00:01:27.540 Thank you again for joining us here in the Stone Zone.

00:01:40.280 Roger is still out, and he should be back soon.

00:01:44.460 My name is Ken Matthews.

00:01:45.660 It's just really been so much fun having the opportunity and the privilege to talk to his audience all week.

00:01:54.580 So thank you for that.

00:01:55.960 Anyway, let's get started.

00:01:57.520 It's 800-848-9222.

00:02:01.000 Thursday, November 20th, some good news happening in Washington, which is rare.

00:02:05.940 But, well, let's start with something that I was happy to see this.

00:02:11.600 And feel free to weigh in, 800-848-9222.

00:02:16.200 Trump's doing some things with energy that I'm very excited about.

00:02:20.040 Obviously, there are some things happening in Congress that's, well, there's some entertaining things.

00:02:27.100 There's that big investigation that I'm very excited about down in Florida.

00:02:30.900 The Congresswoman, Sheila McCormick, charged with stealing $5 million in COVID aid funds.

00:02:38.440 Wow.

00:02:39.240 She could get up to 53 years in prison.

00:02:43.380 Yeah.

00:02:45.200 Now, is it going to happen?

00:02:46.560 I don't know.

00:02:47.940 I used to live in Fort Lauderdale very many, many, many years ago.

00:02:51.960 I mean, I was just a lad, a small lad at the time.

00:02:57.940 So that's kind of happening.

00:03:00.060 So there's some progress there.

00:03:02.760 We still haven't gotten a clean read on the Epstein files.

00:03:05.920 I don't think that will happen until early next week.

00:03:08.220 We'll kind of see what's happening there.

00:03:10.060 But I did want to point out the fact that everybody's trying to get, and this is a game that certain groups and organizations,

00:03:19.760 sometimes political parties or entities, like to play.

00:03:23.080 And it's called, if you associate with someone that we don't like, you're in trouble.

00:03:30.840 So this is how that's going.

00:03:34.600 And I'm talking about Nick Fuentes being on Tucker Carlson's show, which I saw the interview.

00:03:41.080 I'm a fan of Tucker.

00:03:44.320 And I do watch Nick.

00:03:47.320 And this is what CBS had to say about it when President Donald Trump did not take the bait.

00:03:54.180 Some Republicans, including one-time ally Marjorie Taylor Greene, over the Epstein files,

00:03:59.240 he has also weighed in gently on another Republican feud, whether it was wrong or in any way inappropriate

00:04:07.900 or politically tone-deaf for Tucker Carlson to interview white nationalist Nick Fuentes.

00:04:15.060 Here was the president on that topic.

00:04:18.540 We've had some great interviews with Tucker Carlson, but you can't tell him who to interview him.

00:04:23.280 And if he wants to interview Nick Fuentes, I don't know much about him, but if he wants to do it, get the word out.

00:04:29.500 Let him, you know, people have to decide.

00:04:31.320 Ultimately, people have to decide.

00:04:34.360 Decide what?

00:04:35.240 Those words certainly caught Fuentes' attentions.

00:04:38.240 He went to social media, rather, and said, thank you, the president.

00:04:42.500 I was watching Nick the other night, and he was very happy to see that the president didn't get in line with so many other Republicans.

00:04:52.200 So many are unclear on what they're even talking about often and just attack because they were told to attack.

00:05:00.620 I am a big fan of free speech.

00:05:02.660 I am a purist when it comes to free speech.

00:05:06.540 You hear a lot of people say they're a constitutionalist, and they're a purist when they come to the Constitution,

00:05:12.000 and this is what the founding fathers would want.

00:05:16.300 It's the First and Second Amendment are the most abused, in my opinion,

00:05:20.140 and then followed by the Fourth, the Fifth, and the Tenth in that order.

00:05:24.840 That's just my opinion as a novice.

00:05:27.200 But First and Second have always been abused, and they're very selectively abused.

00:05:31.560 I mean, every month we lose more Second Amendment rights.

00:05:35.960 We have a right, and it shall not be infringed to bear arms.

00:05:40.260 But every month there's something new.

00:05:42.420 There's a new registration scheme.

00:05:44.200 There's a new ID process.

00:05:45.860 There's a new list.

00:05:46.840 There's a new limit on how many bullets I can have in my magazine or how long the barrel can be or, you know.

00:05:54.140 And it's the same with the First Amendment, too.

00:05:57.220 Oh, you can speak freely.

00:05:59.020 You just can't say this.

00:06:00.980 Well, why not?

00:06:01.980 You say that.

00:06:02.920 Well, this is different.

00:06:04.200 No, it's not.

00:06:06.080 It's not.

00:06:07.120 As long as you or I am not breaking the law with our speech, which is very difficult to do,

00:06:15.680 and that's why they keep making up new rules and regulations and censorship, then it is considered free speech.

00:06:25.720 So I just have to say I was happy to see that.

00:06:29.520 And it was funny because I forget the guy's name on CBS.

00:06:33.020 I can't.

00:06:33.900 It's so hard to keep track of some of those liars on the different networks. 0.69

00:06:38.200 So I wasn't sure which liar it was. 0.76

00:06:41.040 But you could see how he was unsure how to cover the story because he said, well, that's all that Trump said.

00:06:48.760 Because people have reached out to President Trump just like they've reached out to J.D. Vance two nights ago.

00:06:56.480 A bunch of donors and fundraisers reached out to J.D. Vance, and then they went on record and said,

00:07:03.080 we're so disappointed that J.D. Vance has not denounced Tucker Carlson.

00:07:08.040 Why?

00:07:09.940 Why?

00:07:10.420 Why would you denounce Tucker Carlson other than the fact that he has a guest that you don't like on?

00:07:18.960 I could understand if you denounce a corrupt congressperson or you denounce a pedophile

00:07:25.300 or you denounce someone who's embezzling money from Congress.

00:07:29.080 But why in the hell are political people expected to denounce members of the media

00:07:37.280 if other political people have a problem with the content of their opinion?

00:07:44.040 You see where we're going with this, right?

00:07:46.900 Okay.

00:07:47.480 I just want to make sure you see.

00:07:49.780 Because I keep running into Republicans that don't understand it.

00:07:54.540 and they're missing the boat and we're coming up to the midterms

00:07:59.140 and there's people on the right and people on the left

00:08:02.780 that are extremely aware of how our free speech is being limited.

00:08:08.340 I cannot stand Whoopi Goldberg. 0.78

00:08:10.980 I hate what comes out of her mouth most days. 1.00

00:08:15.360 But she has the right to free speech. 0.97

00:08:20.440 I don't like the view.

00:08:21.920 I've never said it should be canceled in my life.

00:08:26.520 I've never said anyone or anything should be canceled.

00:08:31.280 Period.

00:08:32.800 That's pure free speech.

00:08:35.320 The best thing people could do, in my opinion,

00:08:39.800 with the Tucker Carlson's or Nick Fuentes

00:08:43.600 or any number of people that seem to have people in a panic,

00:08:48.920 debate them.

00:08:50.920 Debate them.

00:08:52.240 You want to get ratings?

00:08:54.200 You want to see ratings like you've never seen before in your life?

00:08:59.480 Platform Tucker and fill in the blank.

00:09:04.760 Put anybody you want against Tucker or Nick or any number of people.

00:09:12.020 Everybody talks about Ben Shapiro, how he's a debating wizard.

00:09:17.260 Put Ben Shapiro and Nick Fuentes on a stage.

00:09:22.260 Can you imagine the ratings?

00:09:25.000 Can you imagine the views?

00:09:26.980 You would have global views.

00:09:29.360 I bet you...

00:09:30.040 I'm going to go out on the limb here.

00:09:32.020 Watch out.

00:09:32.600 The limb's getting thin.

00:09:35.380 I bet you'd have more people watching Ben Shapiro and Nick Fuentes' debate

00:09:40.820 than watching the Super Bowl.

00:09:43.620 What do you think?

00:09:44.600 800-848-9222.

00:09:48.620 Now, don't call up and start putting words in my mouth

00:09:52.700 because I have no respect for that at all.

00:09:55.060 I'm so tired of that.

00:09:56.520 It's been going on for years.

00:09:58.760 I've watched people do it to people in the media.

00:10:01.700 I've watched people misquote people.

00:10:03.900 They've misquoted my friends.

00:10:05.420 I've watched people attack Jan Sixers

00:10:07.480 and, you know, the people that challenge the election.

00:10:11.140 I'm just tired of it.

00:10:12.160 So, no one can read minds.

00:10:16.340 I am a free speech purist.

00:10:19.680 And I don't know how many times we have to have this discussion as adults

00:10:24.260 and say, this is the United States of America.

00:10:28.800 It's not any other country.

00:10:30.880 It's the United States of America.

00:10:33.120 You will not take away my First or Second Amendment rights.

00:10:38.080 You've stripped me of so many others in the financial world,

00:10:42.920 the economic world, the property world.

00:10:45.940 And most of us are in that category, believe it or not.

00:10:49.800 We have people in this country that still walk around thinking

00:10:52.780 our tax system is voluntary.

00:10:55.700 What are you bitching about taxes for, Ken?

00:11:00.580 It's voluntary.

00:11:02.100 Are you serious?

00:11:03.460 Stop it.

00:11:04.860 Stop it.

00:11:07.160 But what do you think?

00:11:08.220 I think that would be a great debate.

00:11:12.580 An awesome debate.

00:11:14.860 So, here's some good news.

00:11:17.620 More good news, I would say.

00:11:20.080 Trump is backing Three Mile Island again.

00:11:23.820 They're restarting Three Mile Island.

00:11:25.740 I live in Pennsylvania.

00:11:27.560 It's a $1 billion loan to Constellation.

00:11:30.140 Constellation Energy is renaming it.

00:11:32.880 I think they're going to rename it.

00:11:34.060 Oh, gosh.

00:11:35.220 I wonder if a consultant charged them to come up with this name.

00:11:39.180 Why don't we call it the Crane Clean Energy Center?

00:11:43.900 I'm for it, though.

00:11:46.220 Seriously?

00:11:47.700 I've got to tell you, Nuke Energy, it's among the cleanest.

00:11:51.360 It is among the cleanest.

00:11:53.360 We need more nuclear power plants and less solar farms.

00:12:00.560 Solar farms take up too much space.

00:12:03.700 And Nuke lasts forever, and it's clean.

00:12:06.340 And most people don't even know that it's running some of the major pieces of equipment

00:12:12.980 and apparati in our Navy and elsewhere.

00:12:17.560 So, that's kind of exciting.

00:12:19.160 Now, the down part of it is, and there's always a downside.

00:12:22.040 This is the problem with doing complete research and not just taking the headline off of TikTok.

00:12:27.780 The reason they're doing this is because, you know, Microsoft is putting a huge AI data center in Pennsylvania,

00:12:34.680 which I'm not thrilled about.

00:12:35.880 Okay?

00:12:37.080 I'm not thrilled about the giant data centers because they chew up a lot of land and they chew up a ton of energy.

00:12:43.380 And several more states, I don't have the list in front of me,

00:12:47.500 are suggesting a smart meter or some version of a smart meter in the states,

00:12:54.540 in the areas around these data centers.

00:12:58.500 There's now five, I think six in total, states bringing in these AI data centers that are going to take a ton of energy.

00:13:09.280 So, how are we going to do it?

00:13:10.780 Well, we're going to restart some Nuke plants, which I agree with.

00:13:15.600 And I also think that we should look for, we should always look for alternatives.

00:13:21.980 Okay?

00:13:22.780 But we need to drill baby drill. 1.00

00:13:25.180 And that's something that President Trump promised, and he's delivering on that, too.

00:13:29.820 You see?

00:13:31.220 Not everything's bad this week.

00:13:34.160 He announced plans for new oil drilling off the coast of California and Florida.

00:13:38.780 Yes!

00:13:40.220 Yes!

00:13:41.740 Yeah, I'm thrilled about that.

00:13:43.780 That's why it's there.

00:13:45.800 That's why it's there.

00:13:47.040 You know, you can have one or two oil rigs out there,

00:13:50.900 or you can have hundreds of those ugly, obnoxious turbines,

00:13:57.560 those giant fans that really don't work if it's not windy.

00:14:02.540 It's kind of like the solar panel's not working if it's not sunny.

00:14:06.200 I think solar panels are great.

00:14:07.860 I have a little solar panel pack on the back of my phone.

00:14:12.080 So, I'll give you a great example.

00:14:13.620 I was in New York a few months ago, and my phone went dead.

00:14:17.880 And I just put it out in the sun.

00:14:21.520 It started charging.

00:14:23.300 Yeah.

00:14:23.580 And that's about it.

00:14:25.080 This ridiculousness that solar panels are running entire companies in entire cities,

00:14:30.340 that's mythology.

00:14:32.160 Look deeper at what's really backing those plants up and what's really running those plants.

00:14:36.860 Anyway, love to hear your thoughts on where we are so far.

00:14:40.660 800-848-9222.

00:14:42.620 My name's Ken Matthews.

00:14:44.020 We're in the Stone Zone, and we'll be right back.

00:15:12.620 On the Red Apple Podcast Network.

00:15:15.640 The number is 800-848-9222.

00:15:18.820 My name is Ken Matthews.

00:15:20.180 And for Roger again tonight in the Stone Zone,

00:15:22.980 it's always a pleasure to be with Roger's audience on the Red Apple Audio Networks.

00:15:28.180 Let's grab a call.

00:15:29.920 I believe this is Roy in Florida.

00:15:32.620 Roy, welcome to the Roger Stone Show.

00:15:35.220 Yes, this is Roy.

00:15:38.520 Proud to be out in New York and be in Florida.

00:15:41.720 You know, one of the great things about capitalism is you can never end up with a guy like Mandani running a Fortune 500 company.

00:15:48.760 Isn't that amazing?

00:15:49.540 I want to take that aside for a moment.

00:15:51.760 I wanted to address this idea of magnifying the voices of extremists in America.

00:15:58.380 The majority of Americans, unfortunately, are followers.

00:16:01.940 They don't think for themselves.

00:16:05.100 And the idea of taking the extremes and magnifying them because they're going to be good ratings is the mentality of TikTok.

00:16:13.240 It's the mentality of Facebook.

00:16:15.940 And, you know, we have a real challenge.

00:16:20.000 Well, no, the challenge is where the challenge is, and you bring up an interesting point.

00:16:24.940 But TikTok and Facebook are what people that are against free speech limit some of these opposing voices to.

00:16:34.120 I'd like to see both, for example, I use Ben Shapiro and Nick as an example.

00:16:41.440 That would be a wonderful debate.

00:16:44.380 And what a way to sharpen your own beliefs and get your message out.

00:16:51.380 Why not have an unlimited debate?

00:16:53.200 I mean, it's real easy to speak for an hour and trash someone.

00:16:58.280 But what if you spoke for two hours and you went back and forth respectfully and talked about what the issues are?

00:17:07.500 Friction is good because ultimately, if you believe in science and in the Bible, there was a big explosion.

00:17:14.220 There's constant friction in the universe.

00:17:15.860 But what we need to do is have a meaningful dialogue that used to happen 30 years ago in the Congress between the Republicans and Democrats, not between a racist neo-Nazi.

00:17:29.880 So, see, you haven't seen or heard enough of Nick because you call him a racist neo-Nazi.

00:17:36.980 And how do you know he's a racist neo-Nazi?

00:17:42.260 By the ideas that he expresses.

00:17:45.620 When have you heard his ideas?

00:17:48.440 You know, I haven't listened to enough of him, to be honest.

00:17:51.980 Well, there you go.

00:17:52.960 And I respectfully thank you for calling.

00:17:55.160 I appreciate your call.

00:17:56.400 But that's the issue. 0.97

00:17:58.040 So, if he's really a racist and a Nazi and this horrible hellscape captain that everybody keeps calling him, 0.80

00:18:06.640 what better opportunity than for Ben Shapiro to get on stage in front of a massive American audience and discuss it? 0.95

00:18:15.520 I mean, if, look, if Nick Fuentes is a bonafide racist that wants to undermine America,

00:18:24.760 you would think Ben Shapiro could neutralize him in 15 minutes.

00:18:29.340 And that would be the end of Nick.

00:18:33.760 I think they should debate.

00:18:36.380 Nothing gives you more momentum for your beliefs than a debate.

00:18:42.580 We'll be back in the Stone Zone.

00:18:44.560 My name's Ken Matthews.

00:18:45.640 Thank you for your call, Roy.

00:18:46.720 You brought up some good points.

00:18:56.520 The Stone Zone.

00:18:58.500 Entertaining and informative.

00:19:00.420 On the Red Apple Podcast Network.

00:19:03.460 In the Stone Zone, my name is Ken Matthews.

00:19:06.820 You can find me at kenmatthewsmedia.com.

00:19:09.220 I'm all over social media if you want to troll me or engage.

00:19:15.280 Or if you want to email me directly, because I live in a van down by the river, I don't have a station email,

00:19:21.920 so you can email me ken at kenmatthewsmedia.com.

00:19:28.020 And that goes right into the white van I have down by the river.

00:19:31.720 I just gave it away.

00:19:32.660 It's not well.

00:19:33.380 It's kind of a beige color.

00:19:35.880 Anyway, very quickly, and I was just discussing this with our producer, I want to mention this before we go back to the phones.

00:19:44.200 The wife of the astronaut that pleaded guilty to falsely alleging crime in space.

00:19:53.260 I think it's a fabulous story, and it's the kind of story that, you know, that's just the kind of story.

00:19:59.200 As a speaker, that's something that I would have, like, in my folder if I was talking to an audience.

00:20:06.180 It's just a beautiful story.

00:20:07.460 It's a former Air Force intelligence officer pleaded guilty last week to lying to law enforcement.

00:20:14.160 She falsely accused her lesbian lover, who happens to be an astronaut, of illegally accessing her bank account from space.

00:20:30.160 I mean, only in America, ladies and gentlemen. 0.93

00:20:34.640 Lesbians in space. 1.00

00:20:36.460 I don't know if, is that, could that be a Netflix show, or is it a, I hope it's not a dirty movie, 0.91

00:20:43.160 but Summer Heather Warden, 50, faces up to five years in prison and a quarter million dollar fine. 0.99

00:20:49.640 It's the end of a year-long bitter legal dispute between Ms. Warden, a decorated intelligence officer in the Air Force,

00:20:57.040 and her lover, a West Point graduate and U.S. Army colonel who joined NASA in 2013.

00:21:05.580 Ms. Warden's allegations, which she made in 2019, was on the International Space Station.

00:21:11.480 Colonel McClain was on the International Space Station, and she said,

00:21:16.400 you know, I think this, I think my lover, my ex-wife, is trying to hack my bank account from space.

00:21:28.580 I'm sorry.

00:21:29.740 I'm sorry.

00:21:30.420 I don't know why I think that's so funny.

00:21:32.120 I mean, there's nothing funny about a lover's quarrel.

00:21:35.420 So, but just, okay, I admit it.

00:21:39.640 I wanted to say lesbians in space, okay? 0.98

00:21:42.640 All right, good. 0.97

00:21:44.180 Let's clear the air.

00:21:45.740 All right, 800-848-9222.

00:21:49.600 I'm Ken Matthews in for Roger Stone.

00:21:51.720 Let's go to another caller.

00:21:52.820 I think, is Mary in Connecticut?

00:21:55.020 Let's go to Mary if she's still there in Connecticut. 0.99

00:21:58.220 I am.

00:21:59.440 Hello.

00:22:01.500 Love the show.

00:22:02.480 Thank you so, so much for taking my call.

00:22:04.500 I deeply appreciate it.

00:22:05.940 Thank you.

00:22:07.320 My pleasure.

00:22:08.880 I just wanted to know very quickly, you keep on talking about the midterm elections.

00:22:13.040 How much trouble are the Republicans really in?

00:22:16.860 I think they're doing a good job covering it up, but I've seen internal polls,

00:22:23.360 and the bottom has fallen out of 30 and under, and it's kind of like a similar pattern to

00:22:29.700 what happened in New York, 30 and under kind of, and the same thing happened in Jersey and

00:22:35.980 Virginia.

00:22:37.220 So there's this awakening happening among young people, and the irony, here's the good part. 0.97

00:22:43.800 The good part is a lot of the younger people are becoming more nationalist in America first,

00:22:50.420 but they're disgusted with both the Democrats and the Republicans for not doing that enough.

00:22:56.820 For example, polls are showing a lot of Republican and Democrat young people do not want us in the

00:23:02.280 Ukraine.

00:23:03.120 They do not want us in the Middle East, and there's a lot of things that people are agreeing on,

00:23:09.580 and they're deciding, hey, why don't we team up in the midterms and send a message to both the parties?

00:23:17.600 That's what I'm hearing.

00:23:18.540 Also, older people are frustrated because I don't think they are seeing the results of Trump's policies

00:23:25.240 yet, and I understand that it's going to take a while.

00:23:29.180 You know, I understand you just can't come in and change the economy overnight.

00:23:35.240 So what should the Republicans do?

00:23:37.340 Because you know as well as I do that if, God forbid, the Democrats win,

00:23:42.580 it's just going to be Trump impeachment syndrome 2.5 million.

00:23:46.860 Oh, it's going to, oh my God, it's going to be worse than that.

00:23:49.980 It's going to be, it's going to be a freak show is what it's going to be.

00:23:55.560 The first thing I would do, I really, we need to get a grip on this America first thing,

00:24:01.260 and we need to, there's so many rhinos, I hate the term rhino,

00:24:06.260 but there's so many people in the Republican Party that are not really putting America first,

00:24:12.880 and Trump still has some snakes in his administration.

00:24:16.900 I think we need to fight to defend free speech.

00:24:21.480 I need, we need to get off this, the Israel first campaign, 1.00

00:24:28.920 and just, you know, let the chips fall where they may as far as people's opinions.

00:24:34.100 As long as people are not breaking the law, it's, you know, people are,

00:24:41.280 the Israel lobby has become obsessed with controlling the policies

00:24:48.400 and the direction of some of our foreign policy,

00:24:53.020 and I got to tell you, I'm outside of the bubble.

00:24:56.660 I'm not in the media bubble.

00:24:57.820 I'm not in the wealth bubble or the political bubble,

00:25:01.100 and Republicans and Democrats cannot stand that.

00:25:06.680 There is a, who in the heck does this guy think he is

00:25:11.340 every time Trump talks to Bibi Netanyahu?

00:25:15.060 And how the Republicans are missing that, I don't know.

00:25:18.920 But that's the sentiment out here.

00:25:20.580 I'm just being honest with you.

00:25:23.380 Very, very much.

00:25:24.560 Like, but then should we just let Israel go and just finish the job with Hamas? 0.98

00:25:30.280 Just let him, let him, just let him lose, man.

00:25:33.540 I don't, I don't know.

00:25:36.880 I think there's layers to that.

00:25:38.420 That's a whole different show.

00:25:40.060 But the one thing that I have a problem with, I'll give you a good example.

00:25:43.980 Zelensky just invested $500 million of his own money

00:25:48.100 into a Northwest Ukraine ski resort.

00:25:53.000 So that's what's happening in the Ukraine war right now.

00:25:58.700 The president, he's not running around,

00:26:00.640 Zelensky isn't running around in his T-shirt looking like he's a rebel

00:26:05.220 and I need some more money from Nancy Pelosi.

00:26:08.320 He's becoming a bigger billionaire while his people suffer and the Russians suffer. 0.98

00:26:14.640 So I just think we need to get out of the Ukraine and we have to, 1.00

00:26:19.940 and oh, and one more thing.

00:26:21.460 We need to get away from Venezuela too. 0.99

00:26:24.340 That's another thing.

00:26:25.480 So, I mean, I think if you're, if you're a drug boat and you're within our borders 1.00

00:26:32.160 and you're within our, what is the sea thing?

00:26:36.840 Is it 12 miles off our coast? 0.99

00:26:38.160 If we can see you on radar and you've got drugs, then we should blow you up. 0.98

00:26:43.560 But we shouldn't head over to the coast of Venezuela and start poking that bear. 0.98

00:26:47.800 How many conflicts do we need, Mary, right?

00:26:54.040 I agree with you 110%.

00:26:56.160 You are the best, man.

00:26:57.800 Well, thank you.

00:26:59.380 Well, that's very nice of you to say.

00:27:01.640 I appreciate it.

00:27:03.200 Thanks for calling.

00:27:03.980 Have a super day.

00:27:05.780 800-848-9222.

00:27:09.180 Ken Matthews in for Roger Stone.

00:27:12.120 Congressional Republicans have banned Dan Crenshaw.

00:27:15.440 Supposedly.

00:27:15.920 This is just a rumor.

00:27:17.040 I don't have confirmation on him.

00:27:18.260 I'm calling.

00:27:19.180 I have a couple people deeply embedded in the Pentagon.

00:27:25.560 No, I don't.

00:27:26.400 I'm just kidding.

00:27:27.280 I just know a few people that work on the Hill,

00:27:28.960 and they can usually confirm or deny something for me,

00:27:31.960 and I don't have a confirmation yet,

00:27:33.380 but I heard that Congressman Dan Crenshaw,

00:27:36.400 you know, the guy with the eye patch,

00:27:37.800 Republican from Texas,

00:27:39.480 he's been banned from international travel

00:27:41.340 because he had quite the drunken episode.

00:27:46.840 He was in Mexico,

00:27:48.520 and I guess there was an altercation.

00:27:52.760 And the video is absolutely delicious.

00:27:55.200 I put it on my Twitter if you want to check it out.

00:27:58.300 I don't think anybody was seriously hurt,

00:28:01.620 but Dan's an interesting fighter as a drunk,

00:28:05.080 because I think he's a former Navy SEAL, right?

00:28:08.360 Yeah, he is.

00:28:09.940 So I guess that was his punishment.

00:28:14.040 Congressional Republicans said,

00:28:16.020 Dan, Dan, you really, you ripped the place up, buddy,

00:28:21.460 and you were toasted.

00:28:22.500 Why don't you stay in America and do that for the next three months?

00:28:26.520 So that's that.

00:28:27.900 And then, as I mentioned at the top of the show tonight,

00:28:30.480 Democrat Sheila McCormick charged with stealing $5 million in COVID aid funds.

00:28:36.780 I'll tell you, that COVID aid scam,

00:28:38.820 that just makes my head explode.

00:28:40.680 It's right up there with the FEMA scams. 0.98

00:28:42.400 And, you know, every time I see or hear of a scam like this,

00:28:49.420 I think of a low-income elderly person who may have been injured

00:28:56.440 or worked their whole life,

00:28:59.260 and all they need is they need some help with their heat or with their food.

00:29:06.260 And America is so willing to do that.

00:29:09.880 But what American taxpayers are fed up with,

00:29:13.820 I'll speak for myself,

00:29:15.540 is the grifting and the scams

00:29:18.260 and, you know, the billion dollars lost every year in this department

00:29:23.240 and the $400 million unaccounted for in the Defense Department this year.

00:29:28.360 That's what drives me crazy.

00:29:30.360 Most Americans, regardless of what your political ideology is,

00:29:35.020 if someone said, hey, there's a house burned down at the end of the street,

00:29:39.880 can you help them?

00:29:41.140 They need clothing. 0.53

00:29:42.460 And, well, look at what we give.

00:29:45.480 Look at what America gives to charity worldwide.

00:29:49.080 I guess the issue I have is people at the very top

00:29:52.600 taking your money and my money and deciding what they're going to do with it.

00:29:56.440 Because if you look at the churches and the synagogues and the mosques 0.99

00:30:00.400 and other entities across this country in their communities,

00:30:04.820 when people are hurting, most of them step up.

00:30:09.240 And in defense of our industry,

00:30:12.220 when people are hurting in this country,

00:30:15.180 big business does step up and they do create foundations.

00:30:19.400 And they do support hospitals where children can get care if they can't afford it. 0.97

00:30:24.960 And then I see some scumbag in our government grifting millions of dollars. 0.98

00:30:34.240 Millions. 0.98

00:30:34.960 Some of that money was then illegally contributed to her 2021 congressional campaign. 0.77

00:30:38.960 According to the DOJ, she's been under investigation for a year.

00:30:44.040 But this is just the tip of the iceberg.

00:30:46.160 It's so easy to scam in Washington because so many people are doing it.

00:30:55.180 It's not like you're surrounded by a bunch of people that have the courage to say,

00:31:01.700 hey, hey, hey, hey, easy there.

00:31:03.340 You're not going to get away with that.

00:31:05.300 Because so many people are grifting.

00:31:07.400 They're thinking, well, if I call out Sheila,

00:31:13.020 what if Sheila calls out me about the time I did this or that?

00:31:18.620 This is the whole point of getting people with morals and ethics into our government.

00:31:24.740 And if you read the Founding Fathers throughout the writings of the Founding Fathers,

00:31:31.000 whether it's letters of correspondence, whether it's books, whether it's documents,

00:31:34.580 they're talking about this country, this Constitution, the Declaration,

00:31:38.400 it was designed for a moral people, an ethical people, a Christian people,

00:31:42.720 people that feared God and believed in God and respected fellow human beings.

00:31:48.800 And what we have now is we have snakes.

00:31:51.900 We have snakes and criminals because, again, the government is the greatest grift going.

00:31:58.000 It used to be like, you know, you can get a job here, get a job there, and kind of coast.

00:32:03.300 The government is like super coasting.

00:32:06.300 Now, not everybody.

00:32:08.140 We're not talking about everybody.

00:32:10.040 I know a lot of dedicated men and women.

00:32:13.160 And it's the dedicated men and women that are holding this government together

00:32:18.560 with chewing gum and rubber bands and a paper clip, if it was MacGyver,

00:32:25.240 because he can do anything with a paper clip.

00:32:27.360 But we have to pay attention to this stuff and continue to drain the swamp.

00:32:32.120 And the swamp needs draining on both sides.

00:32:34.720 I think I've made that painfully evident.

00:32:38.040 And I've lost a few Republican friends over the years.

00:32:42.960 But, you know, bummer.

00:32:45.420 Bush, Biden, and former Vice Presidents honor Dick Cheney.

00:32:51.060 I didn't even know his funeral was today in D.C.

00:32:56.360 I didn't see anything online about it.

00:32:58.920 Maybe I'm just not looking in the right spot.

00:33:01.640 But anyway, political figures from across the aisle gathered Thursday to, you know,

00:33:07.800 pay their respects to Darth Vader.

00:33:10.760 No, I'm just kidding.

00:33:12.400 I'm kidding.

00:33:13.700 That was just a meme that I saw.

00:33:15.260 Sending off a key figure of the pre-MAGA Republican political party.

00:33:21.180 You know, here's what I think is going through the late Dick Cheney's head right now.

00:33:29.300 Whew.

00:33:30.420 Thank God I didn't get prosecuted.

00:33:32.660 That's just what I'm thinking.

00:33:34.500 That's just what I'm thinking.

00:33:36.300 By the way, President Trump and J.D. Vance were not invited, nor did they attend the service,

00:33:44.180 which is also very interesting.

00:33:46.300 800-848-9222, The Stone Zone.

00:33:49.840 I'm in for Roger Stone.

00:33:50.960 My name's Ken Matthews.

00:33:52.480 Great talking with you.

00:33:53.600 We'll be right back.

00:33:57.820 The Stone Zone.

00:33:59.760 Entertaining and informative.

00:34:01.900 On the Red Apple Podcast Network.

00:34:03.820 I like how Trump says,

00:34:07.040 Not everybody.

00:34:08.260 Not everybody.

00:34:12.020 Okay, let's go to the phones here.

00:34:14.780 Is it...

00:34:15.440 I'm trying to find out who is the...

00:34:18.160 I don't know if they're still on the phone.

00:34:20.660 Is the person on the phone that wanted about the meeting tomorrow with Mondami,

00:34:26.280 are they still on the phone?

00:34:29.740 Okay, Jack, that's right.

00:34:32.000 Jack, welcome to The Stone Zone.

00:34:33.400 You had a thought about the President Trump-Mondami meeting?

00:34:39.760 I did.

00:34:40.440 I was wondering how you think he's going to square it up,

00:34:43.440 especially given what you mentioned about the American taxpayer willing to help people

00:34:48.660 that are in need, which certainly will be in New York, and Trump is from New York.

00:34:55.100 But how do you really...

00:34:56.700 What do you think you should say?

00:34:58.280 How should you guide the conversation?

00:35:00.060 And how do you see the outcome with regards to finance and taxpayer funds towards New York?

00:35:07.020 Great question.

00:35:08.440 Full disclosure, I've never lived in New York.

00:35:10.960 I am from Jersey, so don't hold that against me.

00:35:13.820 And I can't even imagine what Donald Trump has on his plate.

00:35:18.120 However, I do believe Trump is still trying to be America first.

00:35:24.740 And I think he needs to...

00:35:29.060 And if I was President Trump, I would say this nicely, but in private, off the record.

00:35:36.240 I would say, look, you did get elected.

00:35:38.400 You're the duly elected mayor.

00:35:40.220 Congratulations.

00:35:40.820 There have been things that may not have been getting attention in New York that you're passionate about.

00:35:49.160 But if you violate the Constitution, we'll be visiting you.

00:35:56.360 That's all.

00:35:57.080 I mean, I would just say that.

00:35:58.440 And I would also say that, you know, I think that Trump likes to help people, too, especially in New York.

00:36:07.120 And that was a great point that you brought up, Jack, because Trump's a New Yorker.

00:36:10.720 And I think this is an opportunity.

00:36:13.540 I don't think it's an opportunity that we should say, OK, Mom Donnie, why don't you get all socialist?

00:36:19.640 I think he should quietly take him aside and say, all right, you're in the driver's seat now.

00:36:25.880 We'll help you legally, constitutionally.

00:36:30.200 But if you start some, you know what, in New York, it's not going to end well.

00:36:36.300 Because we'll come in and help New York take New York back.

00:36:40.940 But I don't think we should just, like, bury the guy day one.

00:36:45.180 Does that make sense?

00:36:46.360 I don't know.

00:36:47.020 I agree completely.

00:36:48.160 And I really hope that the media gives Trump some due if it works out that way.

00:36:55.180 Because, I mean, my gosh, all the things that he has done, he still doesn't get anything, any recognition.

00:37:00.680 It's always EDS, TDS, TDS.

00:37:03.460 So maybe this will help towards that also.

00:37:05.460 But he is a great negotiator.

00:37:08.540 And, you know, whether it makes people uncomfortable or not, Mom Donnie won. 0.63

00:37:15.180 And he won, you know, legitimately.

00:37:18.860 And that is a message.

00:37:20.160 It's a message from Democrats.

00:37:21.460 It's a message from different communities.

00:37:23.060 It's a message from conservatives.

00:37:24.600 So, hopefully, President Trump will see that as a bellwether.

00:37:29.840 Like, okay, things are changing a little.

00:37:33.140 We don't have anybody under 30 that's locked into America First.

00:37:36.680 This is an opportunity, I think, to support the administration of New York as long as it stays on the New Yorker, America First track.

00:37:47.260 I mean, what a great way to shore up the midterms, right?

00:37:51.460 I think.

00:37:53.780 Anyway, I really appreciate your call.
