00:00:00.000 The Stone Zone, with legendary Republican strategist and political icon and pundit, Roger Stone.
00:00:07.500 Stone has served as a senior campaign aide to three Republican presidents.
00:00:11.520 He is a New York Times bestselling author and a longtime friend and advisor of President Donald Trump.
00:00:17.160 As an outspoken libertarian, Stone has appeared on thousands of broadcasts, spoken at countless venues,
00:00:22.560 and lectured before the prestigious Oxford Political Union and the Cambridge Union Society.
00:00:27.540 Due to his four-plus decades in the political and cultural arena, Stone has become a pop culture icon.
00:00:33.540 And now, here's your host, Roger Stone.
00:00:41.660 Welcome, I'm Roger Stone, and yes, you are back in the Stone Zone.
00:00:45.740 Let's quickly bring in my co-host, Troy Smith, the editor-in-chief of Slingshot.News.
00:00:52.820 Roger, an honor to be with you as always.
00:00:54.680 You know, we have a unique opportunity.
00:00:57.680 Owen Schroyer, who was my old co-host at the War Room Show at Infowars.com,
00:01:03.660 joins us now to talk about the implications and impact of this most recent assassination attempt on President Donald Trump.
00:01:12.400 Owen joins the Stone Zone now.
00:01:15.620 Owen, welcome into the zone.
00:01:17.460 An honor to be here and honoring you, Roger, with the classic Nixon peace signs.
00:01:26.940 Roger, my first response to this as far as the implications are concerned, I'm looking internally at Donald Trump's inner circle,
00:01:34.860 and I'm looking internally at the Republican Party.
00:01:37.760 Now, we all know the deep state has been out to get Donald Trump for eight-plus years.
00:01:44.700 We know about the persecution.
00:01:47.820 We know about the lies and the propaganda in the mainstream news.
00:01:52.460 And now, of course, this is assassination attempt number two.
00:01:55.520 And, Roger, I know you and many others, unfortunately, it was an easy prediction, saw this coming.
00:02:01.460 Now, I don't think Donald Trump is going to stop campaigning.
00:02:03.940 I don't think he's going to stop playing golf.
00:02:06.660 I think there might be a third, a fourth, God forbid.
00:02:10.940 And then there's going to be a time before the inauguration in between the election and then.
00:02:16.380 But here's why I'm looking at the Republican Party and Trump's inner circle.
00:02:19.720 Congress is in session right now.
00:02:22.280 And what actions have been taken by the Republican Party in response to this second assassination attempt?
00:02:28.040 None.
00:02:29.020 Zero.
00:02:29.800 Zilch.
00:02:30.600 Nada.
00:02:30.880 Not even a press conference on the Capitol stairs with a media gaggle.
00:02:36.260 Not an emergency hearing demand.
00:02:38.480 Nothing.
00:02:39.340 We still don't even have answers from the first assassination attempt.
00:02:42.580 They're not even calling follow-up hearings from the first assassination attempt hearings where we still have many questions to be answered.
00:02:51.080 They said that there would be follow-up.
00:02:53.140 We get nothing.
00:02:54.380 Where are the media rounds?
00:02:56.120 Where is the Republican Party coming to the defense of Donald Trump?
00:02:58.940 And more importantly, with now less than 50 days to go until the election, where are they going on the attack about the violent rhetoric and the division and the lies and the deep state corrupt establishment that is going after Donald Trump?
00:03:14.540 Flatlining in this ever-important moment.
00:03:16.880 And then I look at Trump's inner circle and I have to think there's a mole, there's a leaker, maybe in a federal bureaucracy.
00:03:24.760 How did this guy know Donald Trump was going to be golfing?
00:03:28.280 And how did he know to go to that spot that when Trump would be turning the sixth hole and going to the seventh that he would get a shot off?
00:03:36.780 There is a mole in Trump's inner circle and or a leaker inside of these federal bureaucracies.
00:03:44.480 I think that that's obvious.
00:03:45.800 And now the question becomes, does Trump or his team around him have the wherewithal or the abilities to smoke out this mole or to find this leaker so that this doesn't happen again?
00:04:01.140 You pose a number of key questions there.
00:04:06.660 Let's see if we can go through them.
00:04:08.340 I mean, first of all, you're absolutely right.
00:04:10.280 All we've gotten from the Republicans in Congress is talk.
00:04:13.440 I mean, there are a few valiant members like Corey Mills of Florida and Clay Higgins of Louisiana, disgusted with the rest of the House of Republicans doing nothing, have launched their own investigations into what happened in Butler, Pennsylvania, where every day we get more questions than answers.
00:04:31.420 We learned recently that the majority of those who are supposed to be protecting Donald Trump that day in his detail, where they weren't even Secret Service agents.
00:04:41.600 They were Homeland Security Department employees who had had a two hour online tutorial on executive protection.
00:04:52.120 The questions grow longer and the list of answers is almost nonexistent.
00:04:57.140 What do we get from the Republicans?
00:04:59.200 We get talk.
00:05:00.380 How could a guy fly all the way from Hawaii and lie and wait for 12 hours at that location unless, of course, he knew that that's where the president was going to go?
00:05:13.500 Now, I know how he flew there because the man they're accusing of being the killer's not on the secret domestic terrorist watch list along with Congresswoman Tulsi Gabbard.
00:05:27.860 So he's not on the list, but she is.
00:05:30.380 What's wrong with this picture?
00:05:31.380 Look, Alex Jones and I previewed a very exclusive video by the Christian prophet Robin Bullock on the Alex Jones show not so long ago,
00:05:45.180 in which he laid out why he laid out why the Bible shows us that there'll be as many as three attacks on President Trump.
00:05:54.380 Basically taking the story in Samuel 1 and 2, but specifically the book of Samuel 1, sections 15 and 16, verses 15 and 16, where it speaks of the two kings.
00:06:09.360 Joe Biden being the illegitimate king, Saul, whose kingdom was taken away from him because he disobeyed God, and David being the good king.
00:06:20.700 Saul tried to kill David three times.
00:06:24.440 I believe Donald Trump has been anointed to be president, so I think why he's so calm and serene through this whole thing.
00:06:31.520 When asked about the assassination of Tempe, I was really mad.
00:06:34.840 He says, I was about to—I had a birdie putt that I was about to finish, and they wouldn't let me play through.
00:06:42.160 So the fact that he's so calm and so serene, Owen, I think he knows that the hand of God is on him right now.
00:06:49.360 I think that he has the armor of God.
00:06:51.940 He's an imperfect man, as we all are.
00:06:54.100 But God has often worked through broken vessels.
00:06:58.460 Look at how much he's done through Alex Jones.
00:07:02.440 Well, and you know, Roger, I know that we can both relate to that feeling and having God walking behind us and the empowering confidence, let's say, that comes with it.
00:07:15.660 And so I'm glad that Trump has that with him.
00:07:18.880 I'm glad that he has that presence.
00:07:20.540 But my concern remains the same, that we have a problem here, and I just—I'm afraid that there's a lack of action to address it.
00:07:31.740 I mean, who knows?
00:07:32.360 I guess if I'm thinking wishfully, maybe it was Donald Trump who just smoked out a mole with this operation.
00:07:39.360 I don't know.
00:07:39.880 I guess that would be kind of the positive side of this, if you will.
00:07:45.320 I mean, Roger, there's just so much opportunity.
00:07:47.220 I'm sorry to think this way, but let's just do it.
00:07:51.580 I mean, we are less than 50 days till the election, so let's just think politically.
00:07:55.860 Why haven't the Republicans made statements?
00:07:58.220 You know, Kamala Harris and Tim Walls have both said they want to ban assault weapons.
00:08:03.920 Well, this shooter, this would-be assassin, was not allowed to have a gun.
00:08:09.500 With all of his priors, he was not allowed to have a gun.
00:08:13.400 Guess what?
00:08:14.300 He had a gun.
00:08:15.820 There's your gun legislation.
00:08:17.860 Flush it right down the tubes.
00:08:19.900 I mean, where—I mean, they can't even get on policy after this, so it's a very frustrating thing.
00:08:26.300 Now, you want to talk about the positive ends of Donald Trump.
00:08:29.940 He did an interview last night.
00:08:31.180 He barely even talked about the assassination.
00:08:32.800 He did mention feeling God's presence with him all the time and feeling like God wants him to be president, but really, he just talked about crypto and NFTs with, I guess it was a crypto podcast host, and that's kind of what he's been doing, is going into these niche areas on the internet.
00:08:53.000 And I think reaching to those maybe voters that don't normally vote aren't really politically involved.
00:08:59.420 But I don't know, Roger.
00:09:01.900 It's strange to think here that with less than 50 days to go until the election and Congress in session and a second assassination attempt, that the Republican Party is flatlining.
00:09:14.080 I mean, I'm just stunned.
00:09:16.720 I had a guest on my show yesterday who's a Border Patrol whistleblower telling me harrowing stories that will haunt you in your sleep.
00:09:26.700 And he's only had one Republican reach out, and even that Republican senator was kind of like, well, I don't know if we really want to bring this to the fore.
00:09:35.200 I just don't understand where the sense of urgency here is, and I'm wondering if there aren't Republicans that maybe don't want Donald Trump to win, is what I'm wondering.
00:09:46.360 The pro-Ukraine war, pro-military industrial complex, pro-big government Republicans, maybe they just don't want Donald Trump to win.
00:09:58.220 That's an excellent observation.
00:10:00.140 I think you're absolutely right.
00:10:01.840 Look, we saw the same thing under Reagan, where you have a leader rise who is so popular, and he takes the country in a more pro-America first direction.
00:10:12.780 But then the other Republicans realize he's so popular, they have to pretend that they're for him.
00:10:19.240 They have to pretend that they're for his agenda.
00:10:21.600 That's how they get reelected.
00:10:23.540 That's how they line their campaign war chests with money.
00:10:27.720 But in truth, they like the old system where the Democrats were in control or where the Republicans were in control, but their policies on things like war or spending were indistinguishable from the Democrats.
00:10:42.040 So there is no question, there's a large number of people, not in the party itself, not at the grassroots level, where Donald Trump's the most popular Republican president in my lifetime.
00:10:52.100 But at the leadership level, these career politicians, who right now would tell you, oh, I'm a big supporter of Donald Trump, but don't really want him to be elected, and certainly don't want him, didn't want him to be elected, and certainly don't want him to be reelected.
00:11:07.880 We have a problem here.
00:11:10.320 I think you said it earlier.
00:11:11.440 They will keep trying.
00:11:12.960 They're going to keep trying.
00:11:14.060 Why?
00:11:14.380 Because they can't beat him at the ballot box without cheating, and because their candidate is, you know, a paper-thin hyena.
00:11:22.060 Now, you saw this week where after the debate, which she and her supporters claim was a great triumph, where they used every dirty trick known to man.
00:11:32.040 They had lights specifically positioned to shine into the president's eyes and blind him.
00:11:37.760 They gave him a short microphone stand, so he had to lean over to speak.
00:11:41.820 They clearly fed the questions and a commitment to fact-check Trump, even though every one of their fact-checks was a lie, but no fact-checking for Kamala.
00:11:54.000 This was all done in advance.
00:11:56.060 It's not coincidental that Donna Brazile, the Democrat political operative, she worked at CNN in 2016.
00:12:08.100 She got caught red-handed giving the debate questions to Hillary in advance then.
00:12:12.500 Trump kicked Hillary's butt in the debate anyway.
00:12:17.420 Now where does she work?
00:12:18.700 Oh, my goodness.
00:12:19.420 She works at ABC.
00:12:21.900 A whistleblower has come forward.
00:12:24.120 There is an affidavit that they've sworn, a sworn declaration.
00:12:28.900 There's an attempt to discredit that.
00:12:31.820 I mean, these people will do anything, anything whatsoever.
00:12:35.480 A debate's nothing.
00:12:36.600 What about World War III?
00:12:38.500 What about telling Zelensky, yeah, you can use these long-range U.S.-supplied and paid-for missiles to strike targets deep inside Russia?
00:12:47.940 Folks, there won't be an election if that happens.
00:12:50.480 We're going to have a thermonuclear war.
00:12:52.560 But that would be okay with the people in charge.
00:12:55.240 It would be better for them than letting Donald Trump back in the White House to lead us back to peace and prosperity.
00:13:02.580 We have a limited amount of Owen's time.
00:13:05.620 So, Troy, I'm going to ask you to ask the next question.
00:13:08.640 Absolutely.
00:13:09.020 Owen, you mentioned there the problem with Trump's inner circle and the idea that the Secret Service or people within a circle may have given out the schedule where this guy would know where Trump was.
00:13:18.180 What do you think should be done about that inner circle?
00:13:20.640 Do you think that he should be, like, cutting people out?
00:13:23.640 Do you think he should—you know, what's the process look like, do you think, here?
00:13:26.740 You know, that's a tough one.
00:13:32.000 I think it requires experience to, say, smoke out a mole or identify a leaker.
00:13:38.700 I don't think that's something that can be easily done.
00:13:41.060 And obviously, who's ever sharing this information to set Trump up is not going to be easy to identify.
00:13:49.060 I'd like to make simple statements like shrink in your inner circle or be careful who you tell certain things to.
00:13:58.840 But I don't know.
00:14:00.500 I've never been president.
00:14:01.620 I've never been an executive like Donald Trump.
00:14:04.000 He knows far more than me as far as that's concerned.
00:14:08.280 I'd like to even maybe—you know, I would not like to see Trump go into the bunker either.
00:14:13.420 I would not like to see that.
00:14:14.800 But, I mean, maybe somebody advises him to do that.
00:14:16.820 Maybe that's kind of the purpose of all of this is to force him into hiding.
00:14:22.560 I mean, you have to at least—we have to at least recognize that Secret Service did stop the guy from shooting at Donald Trump.
00:14:29.700 So, if there's a positive sign, if there's a positive outcome, there is that.
00:14:35.300 But I just don't know how, if you're Donald Trump, you put your full faith in Secret Service.
00:14:40.320 And maybe he has, maybe he hasn't.
00:14:42.860 But to me, there's no doubt.
00:14:45.040 Well, here—I guess I would look at it from this angle.
00:14:49.680 If and when Donald Trump gets into the White House, I hope that he chooses extremely wisely who he surrounds himself with.
00:14:58.440 So, I would just say that.
00:15:00.280 As far as who this mole is, who the leaker is, how he wants to deal with that, or, I don't know, his internal trusted security or circle wants to deal with that, that's going to have to be on them.
00:15:10.600 I would just say, when Donald Trump gets elected again, I hope he takes extreme caution in who he brings into his inner circle.
00:15:19.380 I hope it's only people he knows he can trust at the highest levels, because it's pretty clear.
00:15:28.760 And we've seen sellouts get into Trump's inner circle and then stab him in the back before, many times during his first administration.
00:15:36.140 So, I'd like to avoid that.
00:15:37.920 And I'd like to avoid a leaker or a mole in his inner circle when he's president.
00:15:43.520 So, I just hope he chooses very wisely, when he does get back in the White House, who he surrounds himself with.
00:15:53.380 You know, Owen, you raise an excellent point.
00:15:56.080 Last Friday, I was at a charity event in New York City, and I ran into former New York City Police Commissioner Ray Kelly.
00:16:04.660 Now, Ray Kelly is a very good man.
00:16:08.000 He's known Donald Trump almost probably as long as I have, 45 years.
00:16:12.660 And I remember when Donald Trump was looking for an FBI director saying, why not Ray Kelly?
00:16:19.900 And I asked Ray Kelly, why didn't you want to take the FBI job?
00:16:24.060 And he said, what do you mean?
00:16:25.040 I said, well, I understood you were offered the job and you turned it down.
00:16:28.380 He said, no one ever spoke to me about the job.
00:16:32.040 Now, when I spoke to President Trump back at the time, I said, why not Ray Kelly?
00:16:37.240 You know him.
00:16:37.880 You trust him.
00:16:38.500 He's a good man.
00:16:39.320 He's got broad law enforcement experience.
00:16:42.000 He's a very successful New York City police commissioner.
00:16:44.980 And Trump said, well, Kelly doesn't want the job.
00:16:48.320 I now realize that the president never spoke directly to Kelly.
00:16:51.620 So, in other words, someone told the president that Ray Kelly didn't want the job.
00:16:57.160 There would never have been any Russian collusion hoax if he had chosen Ray Kelly, the police
00:17:03.360 commissioner, to be the FBI director.
00:17:05.520 So, it's a perfect example.
00:17:07.460 You're absolutely right about the fact that he must clean house above all.
00:17:12.900 You can't leave any of these unelected bureaucrats in place.
00:17:17.780 That is, by the way, what brought Richard Nixon down.
00:17:20.280 That's the real reason for Watergate, a plan to completely reorganize the national security apparatus
00:17:26.260 and take power away from these unelected bureaucrats.
00:17:31.420 So, you're absolutely right.
00:17:32.840 We have no choice but to clean house.
00:17:36.120 Got about three minutes with you, and then I know you have to go.
00:17:41.580 Owen, other than pray, which is the single most consistent piece of advice that I give to Trump supporters,
00:17:48.080 who say, what can we do?
00:17:49.660 What do you think we need to be doing for the next, you know, I guess it's less than two months now?
00:17:54.860 Well, if you do think you have any undecided voters or people that might lean Democrat,
00:18:00.220 I would just try to flood them with as much information as possible.
00:18:04.020 Maybe it will change their mind, especially if you're in Nevada or Arizona or North Carolina or Virginia.
00:18:11.680 So, I mean, we got to get people to vote.
00:18:13.540 We got to be too big to rig, as they say.
00:18:18.620 I also think that we have to put pressure on our Republican representatives.
00:18:25.500 You know, Roger, the one thing that you kind of have a power to do and that I have a power to do
00:18:30.260 is to move the conservative media, and I think we've done that.
00:18:34.080 I think we've done a great job at that in the last eight years is moving the conservative media a lot closer to the truth,
00:18:39.740 and yet still I'm watching the coverage of the second assassination attempt and still the mainstream conservative media,
00:18:47.780 the Fox News types or some of the bigger followings on social media are still not willing to go all the way.
00:18:53.560 They still don't want to show you all the information on this would-be assassin.
00:18:56.380 They still don't want to show all the videos and the history that's out there.
00:18:59.660 So we got to continue.
00:19:01.080 You and I have to kind of continue to press that ball and move that ball downfield.
00:19:06.320 But I think pressure needs to be applied to your Republican representatives locally, nationally,
00:19:12.520 to do more, mostly not just political action or statements,
00:19:18.160 but we really have to make sure we hone in on stopping the steal this year.
00:19:22.740 And I know that the RNC has not been completely dead in this regard.
00:19:27.680 There are dozens of ongoing lawsuits right now, most of which are happening in swing states.
00:19:33.000 So there are legal battles to try to protect this election from being stolen,
00:19:37.480 but we cannot let that just kind of fall away with 50 days.
00:19:42.440 We need to keep the focus on that.
00:19:44.340 We need to keep the pressure on the RNC and Republicans on that issue.
00:19:48.360 And I think by talking about it every day, by following these lawsuits,
00:19:53.440 you know, one of the things that all politicians like is an uninformed or an uninterested republic
00:20:02.300 because they can get away with anything.
00:20:04.580 But if the public is informed and interested and knows what's going on
00:20:08.860 and they still choose not to take action,
00:20:11.700 then that looks bad on them, that hurts their election chances,
00:20:15.260 and so they have to get involved.
00:20:17.120 So pray, try to get any undecided voters, if you have them in your life,
00:20:23.880 get them out to vote for Trump, flood them with information,
00:20:27.120 continue to move the needle on where the narrative is going in the next 50 days,
00:20:32.220 and apply pressure to the Republican Party to find their spine, if you will,
00:20:38.300 as, you know, these ever-present days.
00:20:40.940 I mean, geez, Roger, the Democrats ran a coup against Joe Biden
00:20:45.400 because they thought that he hurt their down-ballot chances.
00:20:49.080 And what are we doing for the Republicans right now down-ballot
00:20:54.260 as the continued persecution and second assassination attempt
00:20:58.040 against the leader of the Republican Party just went down?
00:21:00.540 And what are we doing to assure down-ballot votes?
00:21:03.520 Nothing.
00:21:04.540 So we need to apply that pressure,
00:21:06.640 and we need to just continue to get people informed and out to the polls.
00:21:12.060 All right, there you have it, folks.
00:21:15.960 Owen Schroyer, until recently a political prisoner himself.
00:21:20.000 Like me, we've been through the meat grinder, folks.
00:21:22.680 We know what it's like.
00:21:24.780 The host, of course, of the great War Room Show,
00:21:27.540 the original War Room Show,
00:21:29.500 the real War Room Show at Infowars.com.
00:21:33.540 Owen, thank you, and God bless you.
00:21:35.440 Thank you very much for making time for us today.
00:21:38.520 Thank you, Roger.
00:21:39.480 Always great to be on the Stone Zone.
00:21:42.060 All right, folks, that was Owen Schroyer.
00:21:46.360 Make sure you catch his great show at Infowars.com.
00:21:50.100 Now, Troy, it's amazing how overnight so many political things happen.
00:21:55.900 You can't even keep track of it anymore.
00:21:58.240 So you're going to kind of lead us through
00:22:00.660 some of the latest breaking news and developments.
00:22:04.900 I was on the air live at 77 WABC Radio in New York,
00:22:10.200 where my radio show on Sundays now has been expanded to three hours
00:22:14.660 from 3 to 6 Eastern time.
00:22:17.840 You can always hear it by going to WABCRadio.com,
00:22:22.220 no matter where you are in the planet, WABCRadio.com.
00:22:25.780 But I was on the air when I heard the shocking news
00:22:29.400 that there had been yet another assassination attempt on the president.
00:22:34.360 So, Troy, take the lead here, my friend.
00:22:37.460 Well, Roger, I have a couple of facts about that, you know,
00:22:40.400 because immediately I read, because we were getting a lot of conflicting reports
00:22:43.720 about what had actually happened here.
00:22:45.800 And one of the most disturbing things that I heard about this case is
00:22:49.960 this gentleman had set up a backpack,
00:22:52.880 which we pulled the photo of and we showed you yesterday.
00:22:56.060 We have it right there.
00:22:57.160 He had set up a backpack.
00:22:58.140 He had a scoped rifle, and that is his setup outside of the Mar-a-Lago thing.
00:23:02.840 Now, he was set up there for a kind of unspecified amount of time.
00:23:07.080 We don't know exactly how long he had been set up there.
00:23:10.300 But the reports say that, though some people have said it was hundreds of feet,
00:23:15.180 reports are claiming that Trump came within 300 to 500 yards of the shooter
00:23:20.080 from his position and that he was fired on by the Secret Service.
00:23:24.580 And then he gets away somehow, Roger, and gets into his car.
00:23:30.600 And I don't think a lot of people, I haven't seen this covered anywhere,
00:23:33.340 he wasn't arrested until he was 50 miles away from Mar-a-Lago going north on I-95.
00:23:40.920 So this gentleman was actually able to set up a rifle stand on Mar-a-Lago,
00:23:46.880 sit there presumably for at least an hour, and camp out, and then get 50 miles up I-95 North.
00:23:55.820 And my question to authorities is, if he hadn't been an idiot and gone on I-95 North,
00:24:01.640 literally the biggest highway in Florida, like, what if this guy had gone into the swamp?
00:24:05.840 Would we be seeing him being arrested, or would he just have disappeared?
00:24:09.260 Because it would appear to me, Roger, that though they had the license plate,
00:24:13.700 this guy could have easily evaded the police in his setup.
00:24:17.040 And I just want to get your thoughts on these details, because for me,
00:24:20.000 somebody who's been to Mar-a-Lago, I've seen the unbelievable security they have there,
00:24:24.660 these kind of failures, you know, I keep thinking back to Butler saying,
00:24:27.880 this can't be a coincidence.
00:24:29.440 I mean, this is unbelievable.
00:24:31.420 No, you raise an excellent point.
00:24:33.280 Now we also learn that he had been in Ukraine, that he'd been recruiting people to go to Ukraine
00:24:40.640 and fight as mercenaries.
00:24:42.960 It occurs to me, therefore, that he has something in common with a man named Maxwell Yerick.
00:24:48.180 Now, Maxwell Yerick was brought to my attention by a source that I have inside law enforcement
00:24:54.480 in Pennsylvania as potentially the shooter in Butler, or potentially involved in a conspiracy.
00:25:03.280 Maxwell Yerick is a man who has an arrest record, two different convictions,
00:25:08.760 for assaulting Trump supporters outside Trump rallies.
00:25:12.980 He also went to Ukraine to fight and recruit and fight as a mercenary.
00:25:20.980 That these two men are unknown to federal authorities is literally an impossibility.
00:25:26.660 It's an impossibility.
00:25:27.940 No, Stone did not say Yerick is the shooter and Thomas Matthew Crooks is not.
00:25:35.040 I didn't say that.
00:25:36.620 I questioned what the involvement of Yerick is, and I said, could he be the shooter?
00:25:42.560 Not the same thing.
00:25:44.480 But we've seen a picture.
00:25:46.460 Let's take Crooks.
00:25:47.520 We've seen a picture of Crooks on a cell phone just before the shooting.
00:25:51.680 Who is he talking to?
00:25:54.980 Is it that difficult to question?
00:25:57.220 Oh, the FBI couldn't break the encryption on his cell phone.
00:26:00.740 Really?
00:26:01.240 They had no problem doing so when they arrested me.
00:26:04.640 They were able to access all of my email and text messages.
00:26:08.920 You know what they found?
00:26:10.340 Nothing.
00:26:11.000 That's what they found.
00:26:12.060 No Russian collusion.
00:26:13.520 No WikiLeaks collaboration.
00:26:14.860 They had to invent process crimes to try to pressure me into testifying falsely against
00:26:20.420 Donald Trump, which, of course, I refuse to do.
00:26:23.980 I find it very hard to believe the government doesn't know more about this guy.
00:26:30.160 Immediately, I begin getting messages from people saying, oh, he's a Republican.
00:26:35.620 No, he's not a Republican, the new detainee.
00:26:42.300 But it's amazing that he was able to get away.
00:26:45.000 You're right about that.
00:26:45.940 I mean, plus his car was there for two hours, at least two hours in advance.
00:26:50.820 Other reports say he may have waited and laid in wait for 12 hours.
00:26:54.500 Now, if it's a beautiful Sunday and Donald Trump has just come off the campaign trail
00:27:00.920 for a series of successful events, you know how he takes his recreation.
00:27:06.080 There's three possibilities.
00:27:07.700 He's going to go play golf at his course in Jupiter, Florida, which is about 45, 50 minutes
00:27:13.600 north of Palm Beach, an amazing golf course.
00:27:16.840 Or he's going to go play golf at his Palm Beach golf course, which is where this incident
00:27:22.320 took place, or he's going to go play golf at the Doral Trump International facility.
00:27:29.580 It's a pretty good bet that he's going to play golf.
00:27:32.440 But how is it that the gunman guessed correctly that he would be in Palm Beach and not the
00:27:38.100 other two courses?
00:27:39.280 I think that's a legitimate question to which we really have no answer.
00:27:44.480 Well, and Roger, I know you, and I want to be very careful here because I know you are
00:27:48.240 very careful in what you disclose and what you don't disclose.
00:27:50.780 And if you can't answer any part of this, you know, feel free to just move on.
00:27:55.640 But my question to you is, obviously, the Secret Service, I would assume a lot of the
00:28:01.100 Secret Service, if not all of them, have his schedule on a daily basis to say, okay, he's
00:28:05.580 going to be here now, going to be there.
00:28:07.540 Do you have any idea, just ballpark, the number of individuals on a daily basis that have access
00:28:15.320 to his day-to-day schedule?
00:28:18.380 Is it 20?
00:28:19.440 Is it 30?
00:28:20.180 Is it 50?
00:28:20.960 Is it 100?
00:28:21.420 I mean, would you be comfortable talking about that at all?
00:28:25.240 Troy, I'll be honest with you, I don't really know.
00:28:27.600 But my very best information on this particular case is that it never appeared on a written
00:28:32.740 schedule.
00:28:33.320 I was told it was a last-minute decision by the president, decided that he wanted to play
00:28:38.600 golf.
00:28:38.980 He could have gone to any one of three locations.
00:28:40.720 He went to the one that he went to, but see, I don't know.
00:28:45.860 There are just too many unanswered questions about this guy.
00:28:48.840 We're kind of right back where we were regarding Butler, Pennsylvania.
00:28:52.760 I mean, who's going to get us the answers?
00:28:55.720 Where is the House Republican investigation into Butler?
00:29:00.640 Other than, as I said earlier, a few valiant independent members like Clay Higgins or Corey
00:29:07.800 Mills or Senator Josh Hawley, who's Hawley's done an amazing job, where's the rest of the
00:29:15.260 Republican Party?
00:29:16.180 Why are they silent?
00:29:17.960 Anyway, you've got some videos for us.
00:29:19.620 Why don't we move through some of those?
00:29:21.920 Absolutely, Roger.
00:29:22.660 We have a couple things here that I wanted to pull up for you because it's just unbelievable.
00:29:28.420 Like you said, as we get closer to this election, it feels like we have more to talk about each
00:29:32.480 day than we actually have time to talk about.
00:29:34.040 So let's start with one of your favorites, the kleptocrat herself, Hillary Clinton, suggesting
00:29:39.400 last night during an interview that America should be put in jail for posting misinformation.
00:29:45.660 Now, there actually have been people from the 2016 election who were arrested, put in prison
00:29:50.620 for posting anti-Hillary Clinton memes.
00:29:53.140 So this is something that's happened before.
00:29:54.940 I want to play this clip and get your thoughts on what the Democrats are planning for 2024 and
00:29:59.160 why is Hillary involved in this?
00:30:00.480 Let's roll that.
00:30:01.040 And boosting Trump back in 2016.
00:30:03.940 But I also think there are Americans who are engaged in this kind of propaganda and
00:30:12.060 whether they should be civilly or even in some cases criminally charged is something that
00:30:18.160 would be a better deterrence.
00:30:20.680 I wonder if she's familiar with something called the First Amendment.
00:30:25.120 I wonder if she's familiar with free speech, although I must say, Hillary's getting soft.
00:30:31.340 You see, now she just wants to civilly charge you or criminally charge you, where in the past,
00:30:35.880 she would just have you killed.
00:30:37.740 Because I don't care who you are.
00:30:39.420 I don't care who you are.
00:30:40.840 You don't know 58 people who just coincidentally committed suicide.
00:30:45.180 Let's face it.
00:30:46.540 This woman is so evil.
00:30:48.560 I think it was Alex Jones who said she actually smells like sulfur.
00:30:52.080 Wouldn't surprise me at all.
00:30:53.920 And she will never get over being beaten by Donald Trump in 2016.
00:30:59.900 He broke her for good.
00:31:02.140 And she can go to bed every night knowing that she will never be president of the United States,
00:31:07.020 isn't it?
00:31:07.640 Well, sadly, more than half the people in the country, you know, despise her.
00:31:12.820 She's hopeful.
00:31:15.000 I mean, I do think she actually maneuvered to try to get on this ticket.
00:31:18.080 You know, she figured that like Joe Biden thought he was smarter than Obama.
00:31:21.800 Once Obama gets in there, he'll prove to be a dummy and I can run the country.
00:31:25.660 That didn't work out too well.
00:31:27.160 Joe was told to go stay in his office and don't come back until we tell you to.
00:31:31.580 But she maneuvered to try to get on this ticket.
00:31:34.800 The idea of two women, I think, was more than they were willing to contemplate.
00:31:37.800 Plus, if they'd ever gotten elected, if Kamala Harris, God forbid, were ever president and Hillary Clinton were vice president, let's face it.
00:31:46.620 Kamala would need a food taster.
00:31:49.940 Repugnant remarks, as usual, from Hillary Clinton today.
00:31:54.360 All right.
00:31:54.800 Let's go forward.
00:31:55.800 What else you got for us, Troy?
00:31:58.340 I have one Clinton-related question for you, Roger, just quickly before we move on to that.
00:32:03.440 And that relates to Bill Clinton.
00:32:05.380 You know, I saw Bill Clinton speak at the DNC.
00:32:07.820 You know, he's always waving the flag now and they're all in the social justice thing.
00:32:11.940 But, you know, I was not alive at the time.
00:32:14.960 I mean, he was president when I was born, but only for a couple months.
00:32:17.120 So I've gone back and I've kind of watched some of the documentaries and Clinton, you know, talking about like and maybe this was not the case at the time, but he seems to have been making a large pitch to moderates.
00:32:29.940 And moderates were a big part of Clinton's plan as far as like him appealing to the American people.
00:32:35.960 And I wanted to ask you, you know, what's it like for you to see them go into the social justice thing?
00:32:41.320 I mean, that's pretty much what they planned all along, wasn't it?
00:32:44.060 That whole moderate thing was kind of just a cover to get into power so that they could push this agenda that they've always kind of believed in, right?
00:32:53.160 Well, I would say this.
00:32:54.780 Bill Clinton is 100 percent politician.
00:32:56.940 So, for example, in Atlanta, pardon me, in Arkansas, he went all the way to the U.S. Supreme Court arguing that the Arkansas State Police should have the right to pull you over based on your race, racial profiling, which I find vile and repugnant.
00:33:14.740 I opposed I opposed stop and search in New York City.
00:33:18.560 A lot of my conservative friends were angry with me about it, but I don't think they should be able to to pull you aside and question you based on the color of your skin.
00:33:26.980 But Bill Clinton thought that you should.
00:33:29.760 He's a chameleon.
00:33:30.900 He would be whatever he needs to be to get votes.
00:33:34.560 I don't think he ever really believed in much other than the money and success.
00:33:39.560 Hillary, on the other hand, going all the way back to her role where she was fired from the House Impeachment Committee that was sitting on the impeachment of Richard Nixon because she repeatedly lied and leaked during that investigation.
00:33:54.440 She's an ideologue.
00:33:56.000 She's a hardcore leftist more in tune with today's Democrat Party.
00:34:02.360 Let me put it another way.
00:34:03.760 Bill Clinton could not be nominated in the Democrat Party today.
00:34:07.000 He's not radical enough.
00:34:08.700 He's not progressive enough.
00:34:10.900 He's not woke enough.
00:34:12.440 Although he's so talented as a politician, he might be able to convince you that he is.
00:34:18.980 In truth, he believes in power.
00:34:22.140 And you've got to give the guy credit.
00:34:23.660 When you consider how many women he sexually assaulted and raped or exposed himself to, all of which is documented in my book, The Clinton's War on Women, it's amazing he became president at all.
00:34:36.680 All right, let's move on.
00:34:38.700 I think it is.
00:34:39.300 And so, Roger, another, you know, the Clintons, they're pretty bad.
00:34:42.540 But they're, you know, they have gone at least, you know, ceremoniously into the shadows.
00:34:49.020 And one of the worst people that we see in Congress today is Dan Goldman.
00:34:54.180 And I know that this – we covered this at the time that this happened because it happened right before the Butler shooting.
00:35:01.140 And that was his comments on MSNBC where he called for President Trump to be eliminated.
00:35:06.800 Now, these are making the rounds again, these comments, because, of course, the second assassination attempt.
00:35:11.740 And we talked about this a little bit yesterday.
00:35:14.020 I want to roll this clip of Dan Goldman and get Roger's thoughts on what the overall, you know, temperature is in the Democrat Party on these remarks.
00:35:22.840 Do you think that they're going to continue to say these kind of things?
00:35:25.520 Or do you think they're going to realize, hey, maybe we shouldn't be talking like this?
00:35:29.000 So let's roll that clip and get Roger's thoughts.
00:35:33.040 Unquestionable at this point that that man cannot see public office again.
00:35:38.640 He is not only unfit, he is destructive to our democracy, and he has to be – he has to be eliminated.
00:35:47.940 To me, that's provocative.
00:35:49.720 See, one of the problems here is that members of Congress have legal protection.
00:35:55.240 They can't be sued or they can't be held responsible for those things.
00:35:59.500 But Dan Goldman, the trust fund baby who bought himself a house seat in Manhattan's Silk Stock District, is responsible for the atmosphere of hate.
00:36:13.300 Basically, you saw, I guess it was David Plouffe, the chief advisor to Kamala Harris's campaign, a former aide to Barack Obama.
00:36:23.780 He said that Donald Trump had to be – what was it?
00:36:28.340 Terminated, did he say?
00:36:30.260 I think that was the direct quote.
00:36:33.160 No, the Democrats would have you believe that Donald Trump is responsible for the assassination attempts on Donald Trump.
00:36:40.400 These are the people who have fed a climate of hate, a climate of division, and then they turn around and point at Trump's fault.
00:36:50.500 There's a great letter in the paper in Cincinnati that I saw saying, Trump brings the assassination attempts on himself because he objects to our open borders.
00:37:00.140 Trump brings the assassination attempts on himself because he objects to our hurtling towards World War III.
00:37:08.260 There's a video, I'm not sure we have it, of all of these Democrats saying repugnant things that whipped up this climate of hate.
00:37:17.720 It wasn't Donald Trump who brought these assassination attempts on himself.
00:37:21.260 It has been the overheated rhetoric of the Democrats.
00:37:24.700 Well, and Nancy Pelosi and Chuck Schumer, and you remember, just using another figure as an example, Roger, when Chuck Schumer sat outside the Supreme Court, he stood at a podium and he screamed, you have a release to the whirlwind.
00:37:40.100 He was talking to Gorsuch and Kavanaugh.
00:37:41.800 He named them specifically.
00:37:43.180 And he said, you will face the whirlwind and you will pay the price.
00:37:48.020 And it was just a few months later that we saw a gunman running around Kavanaugh's property.
00:37:54.140 And there's nothing done about this.
00:37:56.740 There's never anything done about this because when it comes to incitement, Roger, we saw this in January 6th, you know, the Democrats really stretched everything they could to try to make the case that President Trump incited what happened on January 6th.
00:38:10.400 But they were unable to do it.
00:38:12.180 Meanwhile, you look at them.
00:38:13.820 We don't have to look very far to find Chuck Schumer inciting the violence of Supreme Court justices.
00:38:18.480 We don't have to look very far to find Dan Goldman on MSNBC, on live television, calling for President Trump to be eliminated just days before somebody goes out and takes a shot at him and nearly kills him.
00:38:30.940 And the idea, when the Democrats have power, Roger, we have these sweeping investigations where people like Steve Bannon and Peter Navarro go to prison.
00:38:39.260 But when the Republicans are in power, like you've said over and over again, we can't even get them to turn over a stone on the damn field where the shot happened to figure out what happened.
00:38:49.060 They don't even care, and they just continue to move on.
00:38:52.160 What do you think of House Speaker Mike Johnson?
00:38:55.120 Is this a failure on his part, or is this the Republican Party as a whole?
00:38:59.120 And how can we as voters start to address this?
00:39:03.040 Look, I'm deeply disappointed in the House Republicans.
00:39:05.940 They talk a great game, but we still have no idea what happened in Butler, Pennsylvania.
00:39:11.060 I don't suspect we're going to get any more information here.
00:39:15.100 And, of course, they continue to vote to fund the war in Ukraine.
00:39:20.280 So we need a top-to-bottom cleansing of our government.
00:39:26.320 Donald Trump needs to clean house at the intelligence agencies to begin with, at the Justice Department.
00:39:31.220 And then we, frankly, need to affect this realignment we've talked about, in which we welcome Kennedy Democrats and Democrats like Tulsi Gabbard into our party, maybe a new party, or at least a new Republican Party.
00:39:46.740 And they can have Dick Cheney.
00:39:48.540 They can have John McCain's daughter and son.
00:39:52.700 They can have a little Adam Kinzinger.
00:39:54.900 These people stand for war.
00:39:56.660 That's what they want.
00:39:57.420 They want war.
00:39:58.820 And they're not going to stop until they get it.
00:40:02.680 It's very disappointing.
00:40:04.680 But, look, I have a sentimental attachment to the old Republican Party of Lincoln and Eisenhower and Goldwater and Reagan and so on.
00:40:12.980 But I think we need to recognize that the parties and the left-right divide is really just a Hegelian device that they use to distract us from the fact that there's only one party, the incumbent party, the party that's in power.
00:40:27.580 The party that is committed to enriching themselves and making you poorer, the party that's interested in controlling your life, the party that's interested in getting reelected and filling their campaign coffers with special interest campaign contributions.
00:40:44.340 Donald Trump is a disruptor of all of that.
00:40:47.260 This is why they hate him so much, which is why they are so committed to his destruction, because he stands atthwart all of this and he says, stop, and wants to take us in a new direction.
00:40:59.220 We're on the cusp of a political realignment, but we have to embrace those who were for Kennedy or Democrats like Tulsi Gabbard.
00:41:07.740 I was disappointed the president didn't bring up either one of their names at the debate.
00:41:12.720 On the other hand, I guess if I had, you know, Klieg lights being shined in my eyes to disorient me, and I knew that the moderators had been completely briefed in advance, had all the questions, and it was going to be three on one, I guess I would have gotten a little distracted myself.
00:41:30.240 Well, and, you know, just the idea, everything he said, they fact-checked, and the questions, I mean, just as a journalist, I was sitting there, it was just abhorrent, it was abhorrent.
00:41:38.100 The questions were essentially, Mr. Trump, when did you stop beating your wife?
00:41:42.440 Ms. Harris, why are you amazing?
00:41:44.300 You know, that's basically how it boils down.
00:41:46.480 It was the most ridiculous debate I've ever seen, and I think, as you said, that was a lynching, what we saw on there.
00:41:52.380 They literally took a presidential candidate for the United States Oval Office, you know, they took a candidate and they destroyed him.
00:42:00.060 And, you know what, it's kind of an amazing thing because, Roger, despite the fact that it was three on one, despite the fact they had spotlights in his eyes, I think the Harris people coming out and asking for a second debate immediately and Trump rebuking them, I think that puts Trump back in the power seat, back in the catbird seat.
00:42:19.240 We didn't really get a chance to address this.
00:42:22.020 What do you think about the Trump campaign's decision to not go for a second debate and the fact that the Kamala Harris debate asked for another debate right afterwards?
00:42:32.200 That usually indicates that they felt that they didn't do too well, right?
00:42:36.420 Well, unfortunately, I'm not sure you could name a media outlet that would fairly host a debate.
00:42:43.300 Why walk into another situation?
00:42:45.100 For those who say Fox, no, not Fox.
00:42:47.420 Maybe you don't remember when Brett Baier called Arizona for Joe Biden when more than half the votes in Arizona had not even yet been counted.
00:42:57.620 Never been held responsible for that journalistically.
00:43:00.880 So you wouldn't get a fair shake there.
00:43:03.920 No, Mr. President, they're not going to let Sean Hannity and Laura Ingram moderate the debate.
00:43:10.620 So there is no media outlet that Kamala Harris would agree to debate on because she knows that she can't win a fair debate.
00:43:19.320 And you saw this this week when she tried for the first time to do a one-on-one interview with a ABC affiliate radio reporter in Philadelphia.
00:43:30.460 And when asked how she would bring down prices, she reverted to that portion of her debate presentation that she had memorized saying that she grew up in a middle class household and the people in their neighborhood cared what their lawns looked like.
00:43:47.840 And her mother worked very hard to make ends meet.
00:43:49.960 In other words, she has no plan to cut prices, folks.
00:43:53.720 No, the prices are not high because whoever's creating the product is gouging you.
00:43:59.940 The prices are high because their costs are greater and their costs are greater because we have inflation.
00:44:06.220 And we have inflation because of our massive, massive spending and debt, not because of greedy people who engage in free enterprise.
00:44:19.400 It's really fundamental.
00:44:20.880 The only person in the country doesn't understand it, of course, is Kamala Harris.
00:44:26.500 Well, and it's fundamental stuff, Roger.
00:44:28.680 And I think the goal of the mainstream media and how they've covered this election in total is to get us to stop focusing on the issues.
00:44:35.100 And that's why yesterday when we played the clip of Pete Buttigieg saying the last thing that J.D. Vance and Trump won is to make this about the issues.
00:44:42.400 I mean, you've got to be kidding me.
00:44:43.680 Let's look at the issues.
00:44:44.680 Let's just compare a grocery bill under Trump and then a grocery bill under Biden.
00:44:48.180 Let's see who's doing better.
00:44:49.840 I mean, because it's almost like these people, and you have to believe that this is true, Roger, the people like Pete Buttigieg, the people that exist in that Washington, D.C. bubble, you know, they're not going to the grocery store like you and I and looking at the prices of this stuff.
00:45:03.420 They're not seeing that, you know, they have less and less money every month, even though they're spending less and less because their basic stuff costs more and more.
00:45:11.960 They have maids.
00:45:13.380 They have cooks.
00:45:14.000 They have people that deal with this stuff.
00:45:15.820 These people live in absolute luxury there in D.C.
00:45:20.680 They do basically whatever they want, and they don't care that we're struggling.
00:45:24.940 They have – like Dan Goldman, perfect example.
00:45:27.580 I saw you put out a tweet, this is a guy that exists off a trust fund, so he doesn't need – you know, he doesn't need a job like you or I.
00:45:35.320 He doesn't care that, you know, the price of his bread has gone up four times in the last four years.
00:45:40.440 He doesn't care, and it speaks to the divide, I think, not only in our politics but in our country.
00:45:46.180 You know, there's people that have a lot.
00:45:47.740 They're doing pretty well right now, and the people who don't have a lot, they haven't been doing well for a long time.
00:45:52.720 And that's a result, I think, of the years of Clinton, you know, Obama, Bush, these people, because really, as you said, the endorsement of Dick Cheney for Kamala Harris really ties it all together in saying that, yes, Clinton, Bush Sr., Clinton, Bush Jr., Obama, yes, they might have had different political parties on paper, but their agendas were exactly the same.
00:46:18.320 And there's a reason why Americans' lives didn't improve at all during that time, and then they suddenly did improve under Trump.
00:46:25.120 And it just so happens that the guy, Trump, who brought us that success, who showed America that there is still life in our economy, that we still have that ability to dominate on the world stage, that's the guy that they're shooting at.
00:46:37.300 That's the guy that they want wiped off the face of the earth, and that's the guy that they spend literally all of their time attempting to stop from getting back to the Oval Office.
00:46:46.260 I think, you know, for people, if you want to know why you need to vote in this election, that's got to be at the top of the list.
00:46:53.460 Look back at the last 30 years.
00:46:55.180 There were four years where you had somebody in the White House who actually stood up for you and fought for you, and otherwise, they kicked you in the teeth, and they sold you out to the rest of their business friends, and they laughed.
00:47:06.280 As your prices went up, and you were gouged, and your family had less resources while they had more.
00:47:12.040 We have another clip, Roger, that I want to play of J.D. Vance this time talking about the reaction of President Trump.
00:47:19.360 Now, you've known Trump for a very long time, and you've described, I think you said a couple episodes ago, I'll never forget it, that Trump pisses ice water.
00:47:27.480 I think it's pretty hilarious, but let's roll this clip of J.D. Vance talking about what Trump said after the assassination attempt, this latest one, and get Roger's thoughts on the toughness of Donald Trump.
00:47:38.640 Let's roll that.
00:47:39.160 These are the first public remarks that I have made since my running mate was nearly assassinated for the second time yesterday.
00:47:47.100 And President Trump, I was actually sitting at home in Cincinnati with my six-year-old, seven-year-old, and I get a phone call, and it says, Donald J. Trump.
00:47:56.740 So I answer it, and he says, J.D., you're not going to believe this, but they tried to do it again.
00:48:02.220 And I said, no, they didn't.
00:48:04.640 You're joshing me.
00:48:05.500 What's going on here, sir?
00:48:06.540 And he says, no, I was playing golf, and the Secret Service found somebody who was trying to shoot me.
00:48:13.460 And I say, oh, my Lord, sir, I'm so glad you're okay.
00:48:16.440 I mean, are you doing okay?
00:48:17.720 Are you not just physically okay, but everything's fine?
00:48:19.920 He said, yeah, I'm doing fine.
00:48:21.080 And this is just who Donald Trump is.
00:48:22.600 He said, you know, I'm a little mad because I was about to make a birdie putt on the sixth hole, and they wouldn't let me finish.
00:48:29.360 And the guy's literally like, this happened, I mean, he calls me right after, this is ten minutes after, and he's pissed off
00:48:35.580 that they won't let him finish his birdie putt, right, or if they found a guy with an AK-47.
00:48:40.400 But, by the way, that is kind of the guy that you want to be President of the United States, right,
00:48:45.360 who's phased by nothing, who's telling jokes afterwards.
00:48:48.900 I think I was, without a question, bothered by it more than he was, and I was in Cincinnati, Ohio, you know,
00:48:59.880 a hundred miles away from where this went down.
00:49:02.520 But I do think that we should take this opportunity to call for a reduction in the ridiculous
00:49:09.260 and inflammatory political rhetoric coming from too many corners of our politics.
00:49:14.220 Some very good news that comes out of all of this, and that is that Governor Ron DeSantis of Florida,
00:49:25.380 who I've been a harsh critic of, may have an opportunity to redeem himself.
00:49:30.140 He has announced that the state of Florida is going to conduct their own investigation
00:49:33.900 into the attempted assassination of Donald Trump.
00:49:39.220 I think we have a clip from Governor DeSantis on with Jesse Waters.
00:49:44.040 Let's roll that.
00:49:45.720 Joining me now, Florida Governor Ron DeSantis.
00:49:48.580 So this happened in your state.
00:49:51.360 What are you going to do about it, Governor?
00:49:54.840 Well, the state of Florida is going to do our own investigation.
00:49:58.780 Clearly, there were multiple violations of Florida law.
00:50:02.440 We also, I think, have an interest in vindicating the truth about where this guy came from,
00:50:08.980 what his motivations were.
00:50:10.920 The people of our state deserve that.
00:50:13.100 I don't think it's in the best interest of this country to say that agencies like the FBI and DOJ,
00:50:20.740 which are trying to prosecute Trump in South Florida,
00:50:23.660 they're on appeal at the 11th Circuit trying to reinstate an indictment that had been dismissed,
00:50:28.420 that they're the best people to turn around and, one, give us the truth about this defendant,
00:50:35.380 but also to prosecute the case where they don't have as strong of jurisdictional claims.
00:50:41.180 And so we are going to be doing our investigation.
00:50:44.220 I'm going to have more to say on that very shortly about what precisely we're going to do.
00:50:48.860 But I would note, Jesse, you know,
00:50:50.880 I played golf with the president when he was in office at that course.
00:50:54.980 It's a great golf course.
00:50:56.620 That part of the property, the fifth green, the sixth hole, and then the seventh tee,
00:51:02.140 that is right there up against the fence line.
00:51:04.840 So the fence line is covered with shrubbery.
00:51:08.360 So if you were just walking by, you couldn't really see inside.
00:51:11.720 But that is clearly the biggest point of vulnerability on that course,
00:51:16.540 because if you're burrowed into those shrubs,
00:51:19.620 you have a pretty clear line of sight on a number of golf holes.
00:51:24.280 And so when I heard that this had happened, there were kind of conflicting reports.
00:51:28.600 Maybe two people were shooting at each other.
00:51:30.320 They said, no, this was meant for President Trump.
00:51:33.400 I immediately knew exactly what part of the course it would have been in.
00:51:37.300 So how did this guy get in there?
00:51:38.800 How was he able to burrow in?
00:51:40.340 And, yeah, we're thankful that the Secret Service agent,
00:51:42.420 when he saw the muzzle of the gun, fired and caused the defendant to leave.
00:51:47.580 But that guy was burrowed in there, it seems like, for the rest of the night.
00:51:51.900 How did that happen?
00:51:52.800 Right. Thank God for that agent.
00:51:54.900 Thank God for that agent.
00:51:57.080 But that course should have been swept before,
00:51:59.220 and that vulnerability should have been neutralized.
00:52:02.080 When you hear the Democrats talk about this,
00:52:05.240 I don't personally feel that much sorrow or that much sympathy
00:52:10.340 or even regret that this happened twice, Governor.
00:52:14.600 How do you understand that?
00:52:16.140 I think a lot of what I saw, I saw a lot of Democrats attacking Trump today,
00:52:22.420 really didn't even give this much of a thought.
00:52:25.920 They're just all out with the rhetoric all over again.
00:52:28.580 And, look, we'll see what this guy consumed.
00:52:31.980 It seems like he was a consumer of a lot of these corporate media narratives
00:52:35.400 that the Democrats propagate.
00:52:36.920 We'll see.
00:52:37.380 I think that's what the investigation can show.
00:52:39.740 But I will say this.
00:52:40.820 There's a lot of people in our society who may have a screw loose.
00:52:45.240 And if you're constantly telling them that American democracy is going to end
00:52:49.820 if this guy gets elected president,
00:52:51.940 well, somebody is going to feel that they're justified for doing this.
00:52:56.340 And so I do think the apocalyptic rhetoric has increased the threats to Donald Trump.
00:53:01.520 No question about it.
00:53:02.680 Yep, because everybody wants to be a hero if you tee it up like that.
00:53:05.980 Well, Governor, thank God you're investigating.
00:53:08.420 And please share whatever you learn from your state's investigation.
00:53:12.000 That's really important we get to the truth.
00:53:13.600 Thank you.
00:53:15.400 Thank you.
00:53:17.260 Well, I'm glad to see that Governor DeSantis is taking action.
00:53:21.880 I don't know if that's about.
00:53:23.980 There's one other video I want to get in here.
00:53:26.040 We have just a few minutes.
00:53:27.460 But Robert F. Kennedy, one of the most effective videos I've ever seen
00:53:31.780 talking about the stakes in this election.
00:53:33.900 Let's take a look.
00:53:35.160 Everyone has heard President Trump's signature phrase.
00:53:38.180 Drain the swamp in Washington, D.C.
00:53:42.580 His instinct is spot on.
00:53:45.320 The problem is that in Washington, it's not just about a few corrupt individuals.
00:53:49.860 It's a whole crooked system.
00:53:51.760 It's the federal agencies.
00:53:52.940 It's the lobbyists.
00:53:54.060 It's the think tanks and research organizations.
00:53:56.740 It's the university and the academic groups and the media.
00:54:00.680 And it's the corporations that have captured these agencies and turned them into sock puppets
00:54:06.240 for the industries they're supposed to regulate.
00:54:08.800 Well, I've spent 40 years suing almost all of these agencies in many of the industries.
00:54:13.300 And I know the names in many of these agencies of the bad actors who need to be moved out.
00:54:19.860 I understand the perverse incentives that put agency capture on steroids.
00:54:24.340 I know how this system is supposed to work to protect the public interest and how it actually
00:54:29.320 works to protect the mercantile interest of the regulated industries that have captured it.
00:54:34.240 And I know how to fix it.
00:54:35.520 When you sue an agency, you get a Ph.D. in corporate capture and how to unravel it.
00:54:41.580 And that's exactly what I'm going to do with Donald Trump's backing.
00:54:45.560 Let me tell you what we're going to do.
00:54:47.160 We're going to appoint honest officials who don't have conflicts of interest.
00:54:51.300 We're going to listen to whistleblowers and act on their revelations.
00:54:54.960 We're going to slam shut the revolving door that sends industry executives and lobbyists
00:54:59.120 in and out of government.
00:55:00.180 We're going to fire anyone who betrays the public trust or lies to the public.
00:55:04.780 And we're going to prohibit federal agencies from using their powers to harass political opponents.
00:55:10.820 That's what it means to drain the swamp.
00:55:13.140 One of my priorities in Washington will be to make sure that President Trump can follow through
00:55:18.740 on his promise and return us to a government of the people and to make America healthy again.
00:55:30.180 A very, very powerful message.
00:55:35.380 You know, it does disturb me that the instant he withdrew as a candidate, the Federal Election
00:55:42.800 Commission reflected that.
00:55:45.480 And the Department of Homeland Security canceled his Secret Service protection.
00:55:52.400 Extraordinarily petty.
00:55:54.120 These are, of course, the Department of Homeland Security, who oversees the U.S.
00:55:58.540 Secret Service, used to be under the Treasury Department, now under DHS.
00:56:03.520 All right.
00:56:04.000 I'm afraid we are out of time for the day.
