00:01:22.620You are now entering the Stone Zone, an extraordinarily eventful day in American politics.
00:01:32.200The day began when the Department of Homeland Security staged a 6 a.m. raid at the home of Democrat Congresswoman Ilhan Omar.
00:01:42.080The raid is evidently part of an ongoing investigation as to whether Omar lied on her naturalization documents and whether she, in fact, married her brother in order to gain illegal admission to the country.
00:01:58.840Hakeem Jeffries, I love saying that guy's name, Hakeem Jeffries, the Democrat minority leader and would-be speaker, said Democrats would not be intimidated.
00:02:10.440Omar herself said that she was being targeted for political reasons.
00:02:51.040In this particular case, though, CNN really has their knickers in a twist about the raid on Omar's home, which I find kind of ironic.
00:03:02.440CNN was not so upset when on the morning of January 25th, 2019, 29 heavily armed FBI agents brandishing fully automatic M4 assault weapons surrounded and stormed my home at six o'clock in the morning.
00:03:18.740They arrived in 17 armored vehicles. There was an FBI helicopter overhead, two amphibious units pulled up to the dock behind my home. I then lived on the Fort Lauderdale Isles. And frogmen actually jumped out on the dock, also brandishing assault weapons.
00:03:38.940And the irony of this, of course, is that I had no previous record. I was charged with a nonviolent crime. The FBI and the Department of Justice and Robert Mueller's thugs insisted that I had to be arrested in this unorthodox manner because I was a flight risk, which is, of course, absurd, because at the time I did not have a valid passport.
00:04:00.700and thanks to cnn i was universally recognized i guess the purpose of the amphibious units was they
00:04:08.980maybe thought i was going to jump in the water and swim to cuba i don't know
00:04:12.340the truth is i can't swim so that was never really a danger also the fact that they claimed
00:04:18.680that i was a flight risk was disproved about five hours later when they released me on bond
00:04:26.180without posting any bail, meaning if they really thought I was a flight risk, I would have been
00:04:31.040required to post a cash bond, which, of course, I didn't and wasn't. The real irony of this,
00:04:36.400of course, is that my attorneys had spoken to Robert Mueller's office the day before,
00:04:41.960given the nonviolent nature of the charges against me and the fact that I had no prior record,
00:04:48.540and the idea that they didn't require a cash bond proves that they never really thought
00:04:55.600that I was a flight risk, but even more outrageous is the fact that CNN set up a camera crew 15
00:05:02.640minutes before the FBI arrived. I know this because, well, I got a phone call from a Fort
00:05:08.740Lauderdale police officer who was at the local Starbucks and told me that there were around 30
00:05:14.020FBI agents getting coffee, and he had a feeling that they were headed to my home. Frankly, I was
00:05:20.400at that point expecting them because Sarah Murray, who is one of the miscreants at CNN,
00:05:28.280called me at four o'clock the day before I was arrested to ask for my address on the claim that
00:05:33.580she was going to mail me something. When I replied that my address could be found online, she said,
00:05:39.640well, there are multiple addresses for you online, so I'll make sure I have the correct one. I said
00:05:44.660to my wife, they're coming to arrest me tomorrow morning. She said, well, you've been saying that
00:05:49.380every weekend for the last several months. But that was based on a constant drumbeat of leaks
00:05:55.400from Robert Mueller's office saying that I was about to be arrested, that I was the focus of
00:06:01.500their inquiry, that the noose was tightening against Roger Stone. Of course, I was never
00:06:06.920called to the grand jury. So this is part of the pressure tactic, this constant Chinese water0.99
00:06:13.520torture of leaks meant to pressure you. But the real irony here, of course, is that CNN would
00:06:20.380later claim that their presence 25 feet from my front door, because my arrest was broadcast live
00:06:26.800on CNN for millions of Americans to watch, was based on their tough and incisive investigative
00:06:35.200reporting, which is absurd. I was arrested at 6.06 in the morning. At 6.11, the same Sarah Murray
00:06:42.880with CNN, texted my attorney to tell him that I had been arrested. He did not yet know.
00:06:49.520When he asked arrested for what, she sent him a copy of my sealed indictment. The indictment
00:06:56.140would not be sealed, unsealed, pardon me, by a federal magistrate until about 11 o'clock that
00:07:03.640morning. On that indictment, there were no timestamps or other court markings. So the
00:07:10.600claimed by CNN later that they had gotten this document online is a lie. But when you looked at
00:07:16.860the metadata tags on that document, you find the initial of the man who wrote it. Perhaps the most
00:07:23.580corrupt and sadistic prosecutor in American history, Andrew Weissman. The same Andrew Weissman0.98
00:07:30.720who approved a mob murder during the Colombo Wars. The same Andrew Weissman who sent two
00:07:36.620innocent men to prison for that murder, where they are still being held. They're both in their
00:07:42.90090s. The same Andrew Weissman, who knew as the general counsel to the FBI that the so-called
00:07:49.420Steele dossier, which the entire Russian collusion hoax was based on, was actually paid for by
00:07:54.900Hillary Clinton's campaign and was a fraud. This is a secret document that claimed falsely that
00:08:01.000President Donald Trump had dallied with Russian prostitutes while visiting Moscow as a private
00:08:07.420citizen, was later completely and totally discredited. So the fact that Weissman's
00:08:13.000initials are on this leaked copy of my indictment is proof that he is the man who leaked it. And the
00:08:20.840fact that CNN didn't learn about my arrest through any investigation, they learned about it through
00:08:26.420an illegal leak. By the way, leaking the plans for either a search or arrest warrant is in itself
00:08:35.100a felony. But of course, the judge in my case, the same judge who gagged me, didn't really care.
00:08:42.060So it is kind of extraordinary that CNN is now incredibly upset over the raid on Ilhan Omar's
00:08:50.200home, but they were celebrating when they were at my doorstep when I was arrested, which was a
00:08:59.120complete waste of the taxpayers' money. Because the government was on furlough at the time,
00:09:03.920there was no budget agreement, it actually cost U.S. taxpayers about $1.1 million for this
00:09:11.940circus. In retrospect, I now realize that the entire raid of my home was staged in order to
00:09:19.480pressure me. I guess they didn't understand that I'm half Sicilian and that was not going to work.
00:09:25.800Unlike others who bore false witness against President Donald Trump, something I refused to do,
00:09:32.300the raid on my home only made me a sympathetic figure for the American people, which allowed me
00:09:37.720to raise about three and a half million dollars for my legal defense. You see, at that point,
00:09:42.500because of this constant drumbeat of reports that I would be arrested, that I was a Russian asset,
00:09:48.980all kinds of nonsense. I lost my home. I lost my insurance. I lost my savings. I had to sell one
00:09:57.520of the R2 cars. We were driving a very small Mazda at that point. And once I was gagged,
00:10:05.820of course, it became impossible to support my family because, well, I make a living by speaking
00:10:10.940and writing. But a federal judge decided that once I was charged, that if I was allowed to defend
00:10:18.240myself that it might taint the jury pool in the D.C. area, which is odd because she kept the gag
00:10:26.420order on me long after the jury had been selected throughout the trial. But beyond that, she kept
00:10:33.300the gag order on me after I was convicted before I was sentenced. And she kept the gag order on me
00:10:39.720after I was sentenced, which was a flagrant violation of my free speech rights. So what I
00:10:47.560don't think CNN or Hakeem Jeffries understands is that we need to go back to a time in which we have
00:10:53.600one standard of justice, where we don't have a two-tiered justice system. If Ilhan Omar violated
00:11:00.960the law in her naturalization documents, if she lied about her marital status, if she claimed that
00:11:06.680her brother was her husband in order to enter the country, then frankly, she should be prosecuted
00:11:12.100and deported, just like any other citizen would be. No political targeting and no political0.90
00:11:18.240intimidation. It's not about revenge or retaliation. It's about accountability, I guess,
00:11:26.000and justice. So the crocodile tears of CNN over the arrest of, over the raid, I should say,
00:11:34.240of Ilhan Omar's home is pretty laughable nonsense. In the meantime, Katie Zachariah
00:11:41.500debuted today as president trump's new press secretary didn't go very well frankly um there
00:11:48.240are reports in the uk daily mail and elsewhere that zachariah was a surprise choice uh was not
00:11:54.800recommended by the president's chief of staff susie wiles who was the first woman white house
00:12:01.060chief of staff in history enormously capable she recently announced of course that she had
00:12:06.500beaten breast cancer, which is a welcome news indeed. My wife and I, having been through that
00:12:12.240ourselves with my wife surviving a stage four non-Hodgkin's lumboma designation shortly after
00:12:20.600I was pardoned, but now five years cancer-free, we prayed for Susie Weil and we celebrated the
00:12:27.260news that she had beaten cancer. It's a welcome news. It's an act of God, frankly. But Zachariah
00:12:34.460did not come through the normal personnel process. Evidently, she was, prior to becoming
00:12:42.160President Trump's press secretary, she had about one month's experience as the press secretary
00:12:46.940for Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem. But when Noem was fired,
00:12:53.400Zachariah left that position and returned to Fox. Now, there can be no more difficult job than being
00:13:00.360the press spokesperson for President Donald Trump. He's very exacting. He's very demanding.
00:13:05.740I thought Caroline Leavitt, particularly given her young age, did an extraordinarily capable
00:13:10.140job as the press spokesman. These are very difficult positions because you're subject
00:13:18.840to the most hostile questions that you can imagine. But I thought that Caroline Leavitt
00:13:24.960always conducted that job with great skill. And she had the respect, if not the admiration
00:13:31.720of many in the media because of her conduct of that. Zachariah has not really had that kind of
00:13:38.940online experience of what will be the most difficult job in the country, in the media.
00:13:45.780And what we don't know, perhaps we'll find out is who recommended her for this position
00:14:48.140People forget he's actually a brilliant, brilliant political analyst.
00:14:51.400Now, get in the zone. It's the Stone Zone. Here's Roger Stone.
00:14:57.260Welcome back into the Stone Zone. Shockingly, unsealed court records now show that special counsel Jack Smith, who ran the Arctic Frost investigation, which was meant to destroy Donald Trump's chances to return to the White House,
00:15:11.360obtained judicial approval from two far-left anti-Trump activist judges to monitor the phone
00:15:19.060of Joe Biden's opponent's campaign manager, the aforementioned Susie Wiles. At the time,
00:15:26.160Wiles was a top aide to President Donald Trump in managing his campaign. All the people who
00:15:31.740were so upset about Watergate when it was alleged that a team associated with Richard Nixon had
00:15:37.300planted bugs in the Democrat National Committee, bugs that never really worked other than monitoring
00:15:43.700a call girl ring that was servicing the DNC. That seems to be the only thing they picked up on those
00:15:50.120bugs. Those people don't seem to be too upset about this second proof of spying on Donald
00:15:56.900Trump's campaign. They spied without any question on his first campaign, 2016, basically using the
00:16:04.200Steele dossier, the phony report paid for by Hillary Clinton, as an excuse to get a FISA warrant
00:16:12.320to spy on Trump's campaign. Now we have a second example. U.S. District Judge Beryl Howell, now
00:16:20.560retired, Beryl Howell, the same federal judge who sat on my appeal when I appealed the gag order
00:16:26.360placed on me by Judge Amy Berman Jackson, sat on that appeal for eight months while I suffered
00:16:33.760quietly under a constant attack from the Washington Post and CNN, unable to defend myself,
00:16:41.200and then ruled that my motion was not right for a decision because I had not first applied to
00:16:48.180Judge Amy Berman Jackson, who put the gag order on me, to remove the gag order, which of course
00:16:53.640she never would have done. By then it was trial time. But then the approval of the monitoring of
00:17:01.040Susie Wiles' telephone by Jack Smith was secondarily approved by the infamous judge James
00:17:08.100Bosberg, an epically corrupt left-wing judge who has overreached in numerous decisions in an attempt
00:17:16.860to stop the agenda that the American people voted for in the 2024 election. The applications
00:17:25.540Decisions by Smith did not disclose that monitoring would capture contacts with criminal defense lawyers.
00:17:32.400The resulting data tracked Susie Wiles' calls with lawmakers, other lawyers, and journalists.
00:17:38.180The prosecutors under Jack Smith secured non-disclosure orders so that Wiles and other targets that they were monitoring would not learn of the surveillance and could not challenge it in real time.
00:17:48.880This is a grotesque violation of their Fourth Amendment rights.
00:17:52.680Judge Howell and Boesburg could be the two most vehemently anti-Trump partisans ever serving on
00:17:59.280the federal bench. It's not a coincidence that they were put in the position to sign these
00:18:03.320unlawful, overreaching orders. The deep state had stacked the deck against President Donald Trump.
00:18:09.580It's incredible how he was able to overcome all of those unprecedented actions, the tsunami of
00:18:14.060lawfare against him in various New York courtrooms in an attempt to destroy him. It is a testimony
00:18:19.620to his tenacity, his courage, and his strength that he staged the greatest single comeback
00:18:26.240in American political history since that of my mentor, President Richard Nixon.
00:18:32.320Now I believe it's time for these crooked prosecutors and judges to learn a lesson
00:18:35.980that the law does not just apply to one political party, it applies to them also.
00:18:40.920I'm Roger Stone. You're listening to The Stone Zone.
00:18:42.980When we come back, Kamala Harris is running for president again, and I've got the inside story.
00:18:47.640The Stone Zone. Entertaining and informative.
00:19:04.480This is The Stone Zone with Roger Stone.
00:19:08.320Roger Stone, who's a very, very, one of the smartest political minds.
00:19:12.220Roger Stone was persecuted. People forget he's actually a brilliant, brilliant political analyst.
00:19:16.340Now, get in the zone. It's the Stone Zone. Here's Roger Stone.
00:19:22.420Welcome back to the Stone Zone. I'm your host, Roger Stone.
00:19:27.120Former Vice President Kamala Harris is laying the groundwork for her third presidential campaign, speaking with major donors, hiring staff and traveling to battleground states, according to a new report in the Wall Street Journal.
00:19:41.460This, of course, destroys the potential candidacy of Gavin Newsom because Newsom and Harris both draw from the same pool in terms of finances and political support.
00:19:53.340Both of them, of course, would have California as their political base.
00:19:57.420The former vice president has told associates he remains undecided on another White House run.
00:20:03.380But the truth is, I've been in American politics for 50 years.
00:20:06.460I'm a veteran of 13 national presidential campaigns, and I can tell you, you don't hire staff.
00:20:14.220You don't travel to battleground states if you're not running.
00:20:18.800There is no evidence, however, that Kamala Harris has improved as a candidate or a communicator.
00:20:26.020And therefore, if I were a potential Republican candidate in in 2028, I would hope to run against Kamala Harris.
00:20:35.980I think perhaps she's waiting to see the results of the upcoming midterm elections
00:20:43.660Midterm elections, by the way, which I'm still not ready to concede
00:20:47.200I know many people out there, we call them the panicans
00:20:50.820Believe Republicans could lose one house or the other or both
00:20:56.360I still believe that Republicans have a substantial advantage when it comes to funding
00:21:01.000And they have a secret weapon in Donald Trump, who has always had an ability to move what they call low propensity voters to turn out.
00:21:13.980It's interesting that speaking in Michigan last month, Harris basically said what happens in 26 is affected by what will happen in 28.
00:21:25.080She said, and I quote, this is from the Wall Street Journal, I've not decided I'm going to run again, she said, drawing a lengthy standing ovation.
00:21:32.260I do sincerely believe 28 won't matter if we don't get through 26.
00:21:37.880But even if the Democrats do succeed in winning one House or both in 2026, that does not necessarily mean that they would have a leg up for the 2028 election.
00:21:48.460I go back to the experience of Ronald Reagan.
00:22:19.620We had a boom economy. Of course, Reagan carried every state other than Minnesota, beating former Vice President Walter Mondale.
00:22:28.720So if past is prologue, and to some extent it is, even Democrat success in the 2026 elections would not necessarily guarantee Democrat success in the 2028 elections.
00:22:41.580The former Democrat nominee has so far appeared on a half dozen private California fundraisers ahead of the midterms and joined the Democrat National Committee Get Out the Vote call, urging more than 2,000 volunteers to knock on doors across a dozen states.
00:22:58.120She's also assembled a team of advisors, including a chief of staff, a woman named Candace Bond,
00:23:04.260former ambassador to Trinidad and Tobago, and a communications director, Eduardo Negron.
00:23:12.540Again, you don't hire staff if you're not running.
00:23:15.980These are strong indicators that Harris is going to run.
00:23:19.340The Harris Victory Fund raised more than $10.3 million between January and September of 2025,
00:23:26.200has about $8.5 million cash on hand, coming from donors under $200.
00:23:34.040This is, I think, important in view of the fact that the Democrat National Committee
00:23:38.160has about $16 million on hand, last time I looked at their federal filings,
00:23:42.960but they're still carrying an $18 million debt left over from Kamala Harris's last
00:23:49.640crash and burn campaign for president.0.54
00:23:51.920Interestingly enough, Kamala Harris has written that she was surprised on election night when she lost1.00
00:23:59.900She evidently had been led to believe by her staff that she was going to win that race
00:24:04.600Although after Butler, Pennsylvania, the polls all began to trend for Donald Trump
00:24:11.760Other than the fact that, I've seen this up close
00:24:14.700When you're a presidential candidate, you're in essence in a cocoon
00:24:19.120and the people around you are feeding you what they want you to know,
00:24:23.540which is why Harris may have thought she was going to win.
00:24:26.640By that time, I think most Americans realized,
00:24:29.660unless those working in the New York Times, of course,
00:24:32.120that Trump was headed back to the White House.
00:24:35.360Now, it is important to note that not everyone in Harris's orbit is convinced.
00:24:39.420Some donors have told Harris directly, according to the Wall Street Journal,
00:24:43.340that a bid by her would be a long shot.
00:24:45.640And again, the Journal reported that her husband, Doug Emhoff, has privately told people he would prefer that she not run those close to him expect that he would support a campaign.
00:24:57.640It's kind of ironic because it was reported at the time in 1968 when Richard Nixon, who had lost the White House by a whisker to John F. Kennedy in 1960, had then run a disastrous campaign for governor of California in 1962, had managed to skip the 64 nomination when he realized that Goldwater could not be beat and that Goldwater would go down in flames in that election.
00:25:23.920And, of course, the assassination of President John F. Kennedy, the assassination of Senator Robert Kennedy, and the assassination of Dr. Martin Luther King, plus the extraordinarily divisive Vietnam War, spread the seas in such a way that Nixon was able to make an extraordinary comeback.
00:25:45.520But it was reported at the time that his wife, Pat Nixon, had grave reservations about another campaign, only at the end reluctantly agreed that she would hit the stump, as she had always done.
00:25:58.540By the way, Pat Nixon was the first president's wife, the first vice president's wife, to conduct her own independent campaign tour.
00:26:07.860Prior to that, the wives of candidates always appeared with their spouses.
00:26:12.920So the skepticism about Kamala Harris's campaign also extends to her 2024 financial base.
00:26:22.560The Los Angeles Times had contacted more than two dozen top donors to the largest pro-Harris super PAC back in May, many of whom gave at least one million dollars and found very few of them had any appetite for a repeat bid by the former vice president.
00:26:38.700That one's quoted as saying, I think it's too early to pick a favorite for the 2028 race, but Kamala Harris will not be my candidate.
00:26:47.120Harris still leads most hypothetical 2028 Democrat primary polls and retains strong support among African-American voters.
00:26:56.220California Governor Gavin Newsom, another potential contender, said back in September at a CNN interview that he would not run if Harris entered, calling a two California primary a gift from God for everybody else in the race.
00:27:10.260So Newsom is at least realistic about the fact that there is no vacuum, there is no opening for him if his fellow Californian Kamala Harris chooses to run.
00:27:21.740The possible 2028 presidential bid by Kamala Harris comes after a 2024 cycle in which Harris secured the nomination without a primary and never faced Democrat primary or caucus voters.
00:27:39.620She was approved by a convention, but then it was pro forma.
00:27:43.800She was essentially anointed after Joe Biden's rather abrupt exit from the race, yet the party that keeps whining about no kings and their attacks on Donald Trump and the fact that Trump is a threat to democracy doesn't note that they anointed a queen without a single primary or caucus vote approving her.
00:28:04.620So the voters of the Democrat Party never selected Kamala Harris.
00:28:09.080He was selected by the Obamas and Chuck Schumer and the Speaker of the House.
00:28:18.880It is kind of outrageous because Joe Biden really believed that Schumer and the Speaker would back him in a showdown
00:28:33.820Only to find that they ganged up with the Obamas and the Clintons to force poor Joe out of the race
00:28:40.860I think Joe was pretty bitter about that
00:28:42.860You may remember him showing up wearing a MAGA hat on the stump
00:29:16.140convicted of murdering her father and two sons who had provenly been charged with robbing a
00:29:20.600pregnant woman was given the lenient sentence by Kamala Harris. Harris's prosecutorial misconduct
00:29:26.260and her gross incompetence also resulted in over 600 cases getting dismissed because Harris refused0.99
00:29:32.360to submit exculpatory evidence to defense attorneys about a faulty police report, putting1.00
00:29:38.340countless potential predators back on the streets. As Biden's borders are, of course, Harris sat
00:29:45.520idly by as the worst border crisis in our history occurred. It has been her lack of concern about
00:29:51.660border security that caused this crisis before assuming the role of border czar, which of course
00:29:56.920she later denied that she even had. Harris demanded an end for all private-run ICE detention centers,0.99
00:30:03.200a policy that would have released tens of thousands of illegals and thousands of convicted
00:30:08.700criminals back into the streets. On her own campaign website back in 2024, she called for0.87
00:30:15.200and earned pathway to citizenship for millions of illegals who have broken the law and become
00:30:20.460legalized and who were allowed into the voting booth. Kamala Harris has no chance of winning1.00
00:30:25.520the presidency in 2028, in my opinion, and therefore as a partisan, I actually hope the
00:30:32.940Democrats nominate her. As I said earlier, there's no evidence that her skills as a communicator
00:30:38.940have improved. Of course, if Kamala Harris was the nominee of the Democrat Party in 2028,
00:30:47.260there would be a revisiting of the case of Sheree Peoples. Sheree Peoples is an African-American0.94
00:30:53.060single mother who was charged by District Attorney Kamala Harris because her daughter0.98
00:31:00.780was truant, was missing from school. Now, Sheree Peoples' daughter had sickle cell anemia. She was
00:31:07.940actually hospitalized in the time period in question, which Kamala Harris knew, but because
00:31:13.700of the publicity opportunities and the fact that Kamala Harris is running for state attorney general,1.00
00:31:18.480she staged a stunning morning raid at the home of Cherie Peoples to garner that publicity.
00:31:28.780A short documentary on this, made by the documentary filmmaker Joel Gilbert, got almost
00:31:35.220six million views prior to the 2024 election. And I have little doubt that this issue would be
00:31:45.340revisited if Kamala Harris were the nominee. On the other hand, it is important to recognize
00:31:51.360the enormous leg up that any candidate for president has of having run for president
00:31:57.880before. Several billion dollars were spent advocating the election of Kamala Harris,
00:32:03.820which is why she leads every national poll and why she would even crush her fellow Californian0.94
00:32:10.740Gavin Newsom in a contest for the nomination. Again, I think Kamala Harris will in the end,0.99
00:32:19.040she has already wisely avoided a race for governor of California, which many people1.00
00:32:24.620urge her to do, a mistake that Richard Nixon made in 1962. And if she chooses to run,
00:32:30.240she will be the nominee of the Democrat party. I think, once again, that she would be the best
00:32:38.440candidate for Republicans. I watched her the other day, and her answers to questions are still word
00:32:44.320salad. But it's that giggle, that insane cackle that drives me completely wild. And she still0.90
00:32:51.860has it. So I don't think her skills as a candidate have improved. And I think if she runs the
00:32:57.400nomination she will be the nominee as for the republicans i still believe jd vance is the easy
00:33:04.140front runner i still take marco rubio our secretary of state at his word when he says that he has no
00:33:09.940plans to run does not wish to run uh which means that jd vance is likely to be the republican1.00
00:33:16.340nominee if there is a vance kamala harris contest i think vance would smoke her but that's a that's1.00
00:33:24.300just my opinion. And I've only been in American politics for 50 years. You're listening to Stone

00:34:10.420the Stone Zone, turns out that the sanctuary state of New York has refused to hand over
00:34:15.460more than 16,000 criminal illegal aliens to Immigration and Customs Enforcement,
00:34:21.820also known as ICE, since President Donald Trump took office in January of 2025.
00:34:28.140On Monday, the Department of Homeland Security officials released data showing that from
00:34:33.240January 20th, 2025 through October 8th, 2026, the state of New York refused to honor 16,070
00:34:40.880ICE detainers placed on illegal aliens charged or convicted of crimes. While sanctuary politicians
00:34:48.220continue to release dangerous criminals into the streets, frankly, our brave law enforcement
00:34:53.080officers will continue to risk their lives and arrest those heinous criminals and make America
00:34:58.380safe again, which is what the Department of Homeland Security Secretary Mark Wayne Mullen
00:35:04.040said in an interview. Illegal immigrants have no sanctuary in America. Of those illegal aliens with
00:35:14.460ICE detainers who New York has refused to turn over, there are more than 52,000 criminal charges
00:35:20.020and convictions, including murder, kidnapping, sex crimes, drunk driving, burglary, robbery,
00:35:27.200weapons offenses, drug possession, and assault. We enforce these laws with no help from Mayor
00:35:34.900Zoran Miamdami or Governor Hochul, Mullen said. The Trump administration is committed to protecting
00:35:41.820the American people in every city and every state, and we won't let sanctuary politicians
00:35:46.420stand in our way. If you're a state or local politician, your best bet is to cooperate
00:35:51.460and obey federal law as we seek to make all Americans safe again.
00:35:57.500Last week, of course, two illegal aliens from the Dominican Republic,
00:36:01.180both released into the United States by the Biden administration,
00:36:04.280were accused of stabbing an off-duty New York City police officer.
00:36:08.240The Department of Homeland Security said both illegal aliens were previously arrested by the NYPD
00:36:13.900but were released from jail before ICE agents could lodge a detainer against them.
00:36:19.880The illegal aliens remain at large. This is certainly a story to keep an eye on, but I think it is part of the explanation about why Governor Kathy Hochul, who was, of course, a gift to the people of New York from Andrew Cuomo.
00:36:37.580Prior to that, I believe she served as the county clerk for Erie County, which is Buffalo.
00:36:42.840And she only rose to the governorship when Democrats in the legislature threatened to remove Andrew Cuomo in an impeachment, and he resigned.
00:36:53.340Despite the fact that it's an off year, and in the off year, the party out of power almost always gains,
00:37:00.000I must say that the polling that I've looked at shows that Kathy Hochul is enjoying some of the highest disapproval ratings that I've ever seen in my 50 years in American politics by any political figure, Republican or Democrat.
00:37:16.100In one congressional district I looked at polling last week, she had an unfavorable rating of 70, which is unprecedented, pretty much unheard of.
00:37:24.080The only politician out there whose unfavorable rating appears to be even higher is Chuck Schumer.
00:37:32.700Schumer has been stumping upstate for Democrat candidates.
00:37:36.320If I were a Democrat running for Congress, I would ask both Hochul and Schumer to stay away.
00:37:42.640But Hochul does command millions of dollars through the Democrat National or, I should say, the Democrat State Committee.
00:37:49.020and does seem to be employing that money in various statewide races.
00:37:55.680It's amazing that in public polling, including the Siena poll,
00:38:01.220which I've criticized in the past for some of their methodological shenanigans,
00:38:06.380in one recent poll in the 21st district, that's the seat of Elise Stefanik, who's retiring,
00:38:13.060They actually put the name of a third write-in candidate in the ballot contest between Republican Anthony Constantino and Democrat Blake Jendabean in an effort to cook the results.
00:38:28.940But even in the latest Siena poll, it shows that Nassau County Executive Bruce Blakeman is within hailing distance of Governor Kathy Hochul.
00:38:41.460This race is turning out to be a far closer and more hard-fought contest than expected.
00:38:47.400And I think it's because of the sanctuary city policies that have been actively pursued by Hochul that the race is closer than expected.0.61
