00:00:00.000 this is the stone zone with roger stone people love him and respect him roger stone
00:00:16.400 now get in the zone it's the stone zone here's roger stone
00:00:22.400 You are now entering the Stone Zone.
00:00:27.400 Yesterday in my show and also on my website, Stone Cold Truth,
00:00:32.700 I finally published the fact that I've been watching what's happening in Ukraine
00:00:37.240 and I've concluded that it's time, in fact, past time for the United States
00:00:43.180 to cut off the endless aid pipeline to Ukraine and stop propping up President Zelensky.
00:00:49.960 President Trump tried to do the right and practical and sensible thing for American families and energy markets.
00:00:56.240 He announced an energy ceasefire between Ukraine and Russia, effective immediately so that neither side would keep hitting each other's energy infrastructure.
00:01:06.780 He also negotiated a deal with the Russians to sell diesel fuel both to the United States and to other countries around the world.
00:01:16.480 This matters a lot at home. High diesel and fuel prices hit truckers, farmers, families at the pump, and manufacturers.
00:01:25.280 Trump has been clear. Ukrainian strikes on Russian refineries have been driving up those costs,
00:01:30.720 and then he worked out a deal to get more diesel flowing to the United States as well as other global markets.
00:01:37.460 The goal was simple. Stop the mutual destruction of energy assets, lower prices,
00:01:42.160 and then create space for real negotiations to finally end this war.
00:01:48.720 What happened?
00:01:50.240 Well, within hours, the ceasefire was treated as optional by the Ukrainians.
00:01:54.660 Reports came in of continued strikes on energy targets in Russia.
00:01:58.880 Zelensky publicly said Ukraine had paused and then declared we're done,
00:02:04.300 violating the agreement he just made,
00:02:06.300 and resumed attacks on Russian refineries, including the Ryazan facility and others.
00:02:13.060 He framed it, of course, as a response to Russia's action.
00:02:16.860 And the president himself noted there have been violations on both sides.
00:02:21.480 But the bottom line for Americans about Ukraine is far broader.
00:02:25.740 We have literally paid hundreds of billions of dollars in both military and humanitarian aid
00:02:34.820 and other associated costs. Much of that money cannot be accounted for. It is abundantly clear
00:02:42.280 that Zelensky, who was thumbing his nose at the president with this action, has no intention of
00:02:48.360 settling the war anytime soon, nor do those NATO nations who are propping him up while not paying
00:02:55.880 their fair share for Ukraine's defense. It's important to point out again that when East and
00:03:03.660 West Germany were reunited with the approval of the Russians, we in turn agreed that we would
00:03:11.500 not push Ukraine into NATO. Not one inch east, said Secretary of State James A. Baker, and that
00:03:20.320 was codified in both the Budapest Memorandum and the Minsk Accords. Joe Biden and Barack Obama
00:03:28.880 violated that. Barack Obama gave them Crimea, the richest part of Ukraine, and Joe Biden decided
00:03:36.980 to move forward and push Ukraine into NATO, which the Russians view as NATO missiles mounted on the
00:03:47.340 ground pointed at Russia. Not at all different, by the way, than the situation that America faced
00:03:53.620 in 1962, when the Soviets placed Russian missiles 90 miles from their shore, from the shores of
00:04:03.340 Florida. It is absolutely clear that Zelensky has no intention of ending this war. He is now
00:04:10.240 conscripting 16-year-olds to be sent to the front and be cannon fodder. Let me be clear that anybody
00:04:19.440 like the neocons and the globalists who now attack me as a Russophile. My family was mowed
00:04:27.760 down by Russian tanks in Budapest in 1956. I'm no fan of Vladimir Putin or his system of
00:04:34.720 government. But don't tell me that Ukraine is a democracy or that this is about democracy,
00:04:40.280 because he will not allow elections. He has outlawed every political party but his. He has
00:04:47.100 arrested priests and pastors. He has closed the single largest church in the country. He regularly
00:04:54.620 closes down newspapers, radio stations, and arrests journalists. There is no democracy
00:05:01.060 in Ukraine, just as there is no real democracy in Russia. So, look, I expect all the incoming 1.00
00:05:08.840 that I will get, being called a Russian stooge and so on by the neocons, but Zelensky is making 0.90
00:05:15.760 a fool of Uncle Sam. And Donald Trump has the courage and I think is very clear. He's already 0.57
00:05:22.460 expressed a desire to replace Zelensky. But since there are no elections, that's not going to happen.
00:05:28.740 It is time to cut the financial thread and stop pissing away literally millions of dollars.
00:05:37.540 Proving that we here in the Stone Zone are not a partisan outfit, I'll report on an extraordinary
00:05:44.280 story from Florida, where there is a skin-tight race for governor going on. The Republican Party
00:05:50.440 of Florida is threatening criminal prosecution of television stations and the Democratic Party
00:05:56.460 by the terms of its own somewhat convoluted legal theory that anyone who speaks about a
00:06:02.720 Leon County grand jury's finding that high-ranking state officials diverted $10 million
00:06:08.540 in the Hope Florida scandal should be fined
00:06:14.360 and those spots should be removed from the air.
00:06:17.820 The facts here are pretty clear.
00:06:19.680 Ron and Casey DeSantis diverted $10 million
00:06:22.540 in federal Medicare funds
00:06:24.400 to a dark money political committee they used
00:06:27.540 to fund a constitutional statewide amendment campaign
00:06:31.140 against legalizing marijuana.
00:06:33.900 This money was earmarked for the poor,
00:06:36.080 the elderly, and the handicapped.
00:06:38.360 James Uthmeyer, who was then the governor's chief of staff, but now the appointed attorney general, facilitated the transfer.
00:06:46.220 Then Attorney General Ashley Moody, now appointed to the U.S. Senate, approved the transaction.
00:06:51.960 The Florida State House held revelatory hearings on the matter.
00:06:56.960 Ultimately, the perpetrators returned the $10 million but took it not from state Medicare funds,
00:07:03.400 but pardon me, took it from state Medicare funds, not from their own political coffers to which the money they grabbed had flown.
00:07:12.320 When initially asked about this illicit transfer, Governor DeSantis urged reporters to ask his wife since the Hope Project was, as he put it, her thing.
00:07:22.460 The governor's defenders claim that the $10 million came from a fine that had been levied against a company who was caught overcharging the Medicare system.
00:07:33.020 This argument doesn't hold water because the fines still belong to the state Medicare system and should have been used to fund Medicare programs, not to illicitly fund a campaign against those the desanti, as I like to call them, oppose. 0.53
00:07:47.720 Despite the law, this is an egregious violation of both state and federal law.
00:07:54.120 A grand jury in Orange County released a presentment rather than indictments and then sealed those documents so people, also known as voters, would not know precisely what had happened.
00:08:06.580 For some reason, there is no report other than a clean bill of health from then Attorney General Pam Bondi.
00:08:15.140 We know nothing about the level of investigation by the feds, but the grand jury presentment was sealed by the judge, as I say.
00:08:26.860 The grand jury presentment leaked and then was widely reported in the media, including in the Miami Herald, the Tampa Bay Tribune, CBS, Miami, and elsewhere.
00:08:38.880 Since the revelations the grand jury's present is not in any way a crime,
00:08:43.000 even though the Republicans say it is,
00:08:45.200 the grand jury proceedings, therefore, are not been challenged as inauthentic or inaccurate,
00:08:51.260 and they're now in the public domain.
00:08:54.000 Interestingly enough, this scandal does not touch Republican governor,
00:08:57.620 a gubernatorial nominee, Byron Donalds, who has not defended the action,
00:09:02.640 but has referred reporters questioning him about it to Governor Ron DeSantis for answers.
00:09:07.960 In a lawsuit filed last Friday, and a letter sent the same day to station managers across
00:09:14.500 Central Florida, the Republican Party argues that the grand jury's report and its findings
00:09:19.680 became contraband on October 7th, when a state appeals court ordered the report erased.
00:09:25.800 Under the party's novel legal theory, broadcasting the report's content, gist, or import is now
00:09:32.840 first-degree misdemeanor and criminal contempt of court. It also requested the Florida Department
00:09:39.020 of Law Enforcement and prosecutors to investigate the media stations. The verified complaint filed
00:09:45.620 in Highland County Circuit Court asks a judge to issue a temporary restraining order without any
00:09:51.460 notice to the other side. It names the Florida Democratic Party, three of the four statewide
00:09:56.960 Democratic candidates and the owners of 11 television stations in the Orlando, Tampa Bay
00:10:03.020 markets, including WFTV, WESH, WKMG, WOFL, WTVT, WFLA, WTPSP, and WFTS. The target is a 30-second
00:10:17.920 spot paid for by the Democrat Party and approved by their candidates. The ad says, and I quote,
00:10:25.840 A leaked grand jury report found taxpayer money was quietly moved into a dark money political committee that James Uthmeyer controlled, not to the Florida families it was meant for.
00:10:36.980 They found $10 million misappropriated.
00:10:39.560 It closes with the words conspiracy, concealment, corruption.
00:10:44.240 Uthmeyer, who is now the sitting attorney general, is on the November 3rd ballot.
00:10:49.700 The Republican Party complaint describes him as a candidate the advertisement targets.
00:10:55.840 The suit rests for the First District Court of Appeals, October 7 opinion written by one judge, Lance Neff, ordering the 116 page presentment expunged in its entirety.
00:11:08.200 That ruling, as has been widely reported, was issued only after the party fighting to make the report public was kept from learning that the appeal even existed.
00:11:18.500 Very questionable.
00:11:20.260 Under the court's own rulings, the ruling is not final until 15 days after it was entered
00:11:24.720 or until disposition of any motion for a rehearing.
00:11:28.700 So at the earliest, the ruling would not go into effect until this Friday,
00:11:31.720 which means that people across Florida will see these advertisements all weekend.
00:11:37.340 When asked whether the lawsuit was premature since the filing is not yet final,
00:11:41.920 the Republican Party chair, Evan Powers, told the media they're not going to change their minds.
00:11:49.360 Meanwhile, the appellate court has ordered State Attorney Jack Campbell of Orange County to explain why the courts should not appoint a special master to investigate how the unredacted grand jury reached the media and whether the court's injunction was violated.
00:12:05.180 The court order also instructed the state's attorney, a Democrat, to demonstrate why he should not be sanctioned for an August 26th email to lawyers for Uthmeyer and others suggesting a clerk of the appeals court or the Leon County clerk responsible for the leak and why he should not be referred to the Florida Bar for discipline.
00:12:25.060 Campbell is required to provide answers under oath within five days.
00:12:29.140 The Republican Party argues the ruling changes the legal status of the report's contents.
00:12:35.240 But the grand jury summarized that witness testimony, as the party says, anyone knows broadcasts the content, gist or import of that testimony, is violating law 905.27 of the Florida statutes.
00:12:47.960 A violation is a first degree misdemeanor for one can be sent to jail.
00:12:52.480 The law is then straightforward, according to party lawyer Benjamin Gibson of Shuts and Bowen, writing to the station managers Friday, knowingly broadcasts in these advertisements built on the contents of confidential presentment is criminal conduct in Florida.
00:13:08.000 I don't know any lawyer who agrees with that assertion.
00:13:11.580 Gibson's letter went further than the lawsuit that told the stations the party was referring the matter to the Florida Department of Law Enforcement and relevant prosecutorial authorities.
00:13:21.440 This story gets deeper and deeper. The Democrat Party's, the Republican Party's desperation for the facts regarding this case not to be known is quite extraordinary.
00:13:33.840 When we come back, I will tell you the rest of this story, a story of deep Florida politics in the sunshine state.
00:13:41.500 The Stone Zone, entertaining and informative on the Red Apple Podcast Network.
00:13:51.440 this is the stone zone now get him a zone it's the stone zone a man who's gone through hell
00:14:07.060 but he's kept going and he's smart and he's strong and people love him not everybody but
00:14:13.400 people love him and respect him roger stone where's roger stone here's roger stone
00:14:18.980 Welcome back into the Stone Zone.
00:14:22.840 We're talking about the case in which Governor Ron DeSantis and his wife, his then chief of staff, now attorney general, and his attorney general, now the U.S. senator, were involved in siphoning $10 million in taxpayer money from Medicare to use it for their dark money political campaign opposing the statewide constitutional amendment.
00:14:46.420 They quietly returned that money because, well, taking it was a crime.
00:14:51.500 And now, because the Democrat Party has made a TV advertisement about this DeSantis scandal,
00:14:58.920 the Republicans are in court threatening both the police, the Democrats, and television stations not to air the ad.
00:15:09.640 It's very interesting that they complained to the Department of Law Enforcement.
00:15:16.180 The letter from the Republican Party's lawyer went to the Florida Department of Law Enforcement.
00:15:23.200 Copies were sent to FDLA Commissioner Larry Keefe and statewide prosecutor Brad McVeigh.
00:15:29.380 McVeigh works in Uthmeyer's office with Uthmeyer on the ballot and a party to this transfer.
00:15:34.980 This makes the involvement of FDA and LE an egregious conflict of interest.
00:15:41.100 The lawsuit was filed by a different firm, Saso & Saso of Maitland.
00:15:45.200 Democrats have not responded in court, but a serious rebuttal on the law is expected.
00:15:50.380 It makes sense why the Republican Party of Florida, under the direction of Ron DeSantis, would want to cover up this story.
00:15:56.560 Everyone should remain mindful that if elected, Governor Byron Donalds would have the full authority to appoint a state prosecutor under state law to dig into this scandal from the beginning and determine what really happened.
00:16:11.580 The only reason the DeSantises aren't currently charged for their conduct is the general amnesia of their staff, which was demonstrated in the state legislative hearings in which they were questioned, and their amnesia before the grand jury, which found that they misappropriated the funds.
00:16:29.000 Those are grand jury words. Whether it's the insurance crisis, skyrocketing utility rates,
00:16:35.460 deep corruption, or Ron DeSantis' flat refusal to campaign for President Donald Trump after he
00:16:42.020 was defeated by him. DeSantis never appeared at a single Florida campaign rally for President
00:16:47.620 Trump, nor did he appear at any other campaign event outside of Florida. President Trump was
00:16:53.300 kind enough to let Ron DeSantis address the Republican National Convention. But those who
00:16:59.640 think that he's going to be president should recognize that this scandal and his lack of
00:17:04.700 loyalty to the man who made him president, who lifted him out of obscurity when he was at 1%
00:17:11.000 in the polls or at single digits in the polls, and his campaign coffers were empty, catapulting him
00:17:17.340 to the governor's nomination and then campaigning hard to make him governor.
00:17:23.100 And his response was to pay back President Donald Trump with treachery.
00:17:27.960 And then, even after challenging him and receiving a beating,
00:17:31.720 he didn't have the decency or the political smarts
00:17:34.460 to then put his back into the president's re-election
00:17:36.980 and has essentially done very little for Byron Donalds.
00:17:40.760 I'm Roger Stone.
00:17:42.000 There's a story of Florida State sunshine politics.
00:17:44.860 You're listening to Stone Zone. Don't go away.
00:17:48.760 The Stone Zone. Entertaining and informative.
00:17:52.900 On the Red Apple Podcast Network.
00:18:05.600 This is the Stone Zone.
00:18:08.060 Now, get him a zone. It's the Stone Zone.
00:18:11.340 A man who's gone through hell, but he's kept going, and he's smart, and he's strong, and people love him.
00:18:18.480 Not everybody, but people love him and respect him.
00:18:20.800 Roger Stone. Where's Roger Stone?
00:18:22.960 Here's Roger Stone.
00:18:25.600 Welcome back into the Stone Zone.
00:18:27.880 A lot of spread unrest in French cities produced looting, arson, and more than 1,800 arrests over the weekend.
00:18:35.160 Shopfronts were smashed in Paris, Marseille, and other locations by enraged migrants.
00:18:40.620 A 19th century town hall in Limoges was set on fire.
00:18:45.780 President Emmanuel Macron stated there is no place for violence and that rioters must face consequences.
00:18:51.760 But this is the result of open borders. 0.94
00:18:54.280 This is the result of the invasion of radical Muslims in an enormous Muslim community that is the centerpiece of this unrest. 0.71
00:19:05.860 Le Figaro and other outlets attributed the scale of the disorder to years of weak criminal enforcement, radical left activism, and failures of the immigration and assimilation policy. 0.96
00:19:17.640 There's an understatement.
00:19:19.100 At first, the media said the protests were just led by students upset about their school books.
00:19:24.800 That was just a cover for the true nature of the revolt.
00:19:27.880 We were told the students were upset because there weren't enough teachers.
00:19:30.860 This was fake news.
00:19:32.080 Now, mass groups set vehicles and buildings on fire and ransacked businesses.
00:19:37.880 Interior Minister Loren Nunes faced calls for resignation from both the left and the right after the government appeared unprepared for the intensity of the clashes. 0.93
00:19:48.420 These are the inevitable consequences of multiculturalism on display. 0.98
00:19:53.320 The damage to commercial districts and public buildings has already imposed costs on residents and businesses and owners who have no role in the unrest. 0.99
00:20:01.240 This is very much like what happened when Black Lives Matter programs went forward in the United States back in the bizarro world of 2020. 0.98
00:20:09.840 The barbarians are inside the gate, but the French government let them in. 0.99
00:20:14.740 It is only the potential election of Marie Le Pen by which I believe France has any other future. 0.86
00:20:21.720 Otherwise, France will fall.
00:20:23.980 Meanwhile, former President Barack Obama issued a lengthy statement Sunday accusing the Trump administration of political weaponization and its investigation of Representative Ilhan Omar's immigration history.
00:20:37.380 Specifically, Obama objects to the 6 a.m. raid on Ilhan Omar's home by the DHF's investigative unit.
00:20:47.320 Their panties were really in a twist about this at CNN as well, which is extraordinarily
00:20:51.720 funny because they didn't seem too concerned when 29 FBI agents swarmed my home at six
00:20:58.980 o'clock in the morning to arrest me for a first time nonviolent process crime, when
00:21:04.940 normally informing my attorney that I would be charged would have required me to simply
00:21:10.060 turn myself in.
00:21:11.540 But had they done that, they would have had the made-for-television spectacle of my arrest.
00:21:17.700 Indeed, there were CNN cameras 25 feet from my front door.
00:21:22.920 I know they arrived 15 minutes before the FBI because I had deduced through a phone call from somebody at CNN the day before that they were seeking my address.
00:21:36.080 In fact, I told my wife they're coming to arrest me tomorrow morning.
00:21:39.280 She said, you've been saying that every weekend for the last three months, based on the constant leak of stories in CNN, The New York Times, The Washington Post, AP, that Mueller focuses on Stone, Mueller closing in on Stone, Mueller tightens the noose on Stone.
00:21:55.960 Of course, they never called me in front of the grand jury.
00:21:58.660 But rather than simply contact my attorney and tell him, actually, they were in touch with my attorney because the day before I turned over 30 text messages from Randy Credico, one of their main witnesses, that proved that he was lying and that I was telling the truth.
00:22:14.560 That didn't matter. The other next day, 29 heavily armed FBI agents wearing night goggles and brandishing fully automatic assault weapons surrounded my home, arriving in 17 armored vehicles with an FBI helicopter overhead.
00:22:29.140 And as my good friend Sean Hannity likes to remind me, two amphibious units pulling up to the dock behind my house with FBI agents wearing wearing their outfits, but also brandishing M4 assault weapons because the government was shut down at this time because of a big budget impasse.
00:22:52.140 And the fact that these FBI agents, there were more than 29 when you include the 13-hour search in which they tore apart my home, cost the taxpayers $1.1 million.
00:23:04.280 But CNN is not upset about this.
00:23:08.120 They're upset about the raid on Ilhan Omar's home, an aid for which a judge issued an approval order.
00:23:18.300 The head of the effort to deport illegals, Tom Homan, stated that Omar will be held to the same standards as any other citizen
00:23:26.340 and that evidence of fraud would trigger the established process.
00:23:30.200 It would come to no surprise that Obama could come out against Omar's records being scrutinized.
00:23:35.280 Remember all the hoopla about his birth certificate?
00:23:38.020 That was properly investigated by Sheriff Joe Arpaio, an old friend of mine, and many of the discoveries he found were quite troubling.
00:23:44.500 So Obama is heavily invested with the political class on being above the law.
00:23:50.200 Obviously, he thinks Ilhan Omar is above the law.
00:23:53.020 There's evidence that her father lied on his immigration forms. 0.55
00:23:56.240 There's even evidence that she married her own brother to illegally enter the country and be naturalized.
00:24:03.100 We need to have one system of justice, not two.
00:24:06.740 The end game, in my view, should be a full investigation and a trial.
00:24:10.500 But if this is fully and completely adjudicated, it's time for Ilhan Omar to be sent back to Somalia or housed in a six by eight cell.
00:24:21.620 Meanwhile, one of my least favorite members of the U.S. Senate, Senator Raphael Warnock.
00:24:27.940 I remember the video of him running over his wife, his estranged wife, in their driveway during his campaign.
00:24:34.500 He's quite a guy. 0.98
00:24:35.280 He said that President Donald Trump is a crook and he's got to go when asked about impeachment. 0.54
00:24:41.560 That's interesting because there's been real questions about Senator Warnock's financing 0.90
00:24:45.680 and his use and administration of slum housing owned by his church.
00:24:51.400 But that didn't come up in this particular interview.
00:24:54.440 Host Kristen Welker said, I want to talk about the agenda.
00:24:57.680 If, for example, Democrats win back the House, as you know, one of the biggest debates is
00:25:01.600 what should be the top of their agenda?
00:25:03.720 Should Democrats move to impeach President Donald Trump for a third time?
00:25:07.320 Where do you stand on this, Senator?
00:25:08.700 Do you believe Democrats should impeach President Trump?
00:25:11.400 Should they win back the House?
00:25:13.620 Gornach said, and I quote, 1.00
00:25:15.360 Listen, Donald Trump is a crook. 0.99
00:25:16.740 There's no evidence of that. 1.00
00:25:18.000 And he's got to go.
00:25:18.960 The people who are enabling him, they ought to be held accountable.
00:25:22.500 So we ought to have the investigation to get to the truth behind this
00:25:25.380 and the corrupt administration in American history.
00:25:28.400 At the same time, we have to walk and chew gum at the same time.
00:25:31.580 Americans being crushed under these costs, which are connected to his corruption. 0.99
00:25:36.420 Now, I'm afraid the costs are connected to the fact that he had to stop the Iranians 0.95
00:25:40.820 from having a nuclear device with which they could destroy not just this country, but the world. 0.99
00:25:46.360 So we have to end this war.
00:25:48.100 Well, I agree with Warnock there, but it can only be won through victory.
00:25:53.160 He wants to stop the tariffs. He wants to fix health care.
00:25:55.560 He wants to do all these things at once, but he admits that their principal goal
00:25:59.680 is going to be to try to impeach Donald Trump.
00:26:02.560 Now, we know they could probably get a party-line vote
00:26:05.020 if they wouldn't control the House,
00:26:06.880 which is very much in doubt, by the way.
00:26:09.260 But the chances of them getting two-thirds of the U.S. Senate,
00:26:12.640 I think, are impossible.
00:26:14.440 So an impeachment will be yet another piece of theater
00:26:17.620 for the American people,
00:26:19.540 but a complete stall on progress.
00:26:23.920 But this is not the first time
00:26:25.620 Joaquin Jeffries, I love to say that guy's name,
00:26:28.020 Hachim Jeffries has announced that that revenge and investigation of Donald Trump and everyone around him will be the top of their agenda.
00:26:35.960 Senator Slotkin, a former CIA operative now elected to the Senate, says that young people should be discouraged from working for the Trump administration or supporting Trump's campaign because they might end up being investigated.
00:26:49.740 So it's very clear that you will have gridlock rather than help for the American people, that the Democrat Party, the old party of Harry Truman and Franklin Roosevelt, Hugh Carey, one of the greatest governors in New York history, Daniel Patrick Moynihan, Democrats who believed in free enterprise, capitalism, strong national defense, God.
00:27:14.780 that Democrat Party literally no longer exists. And this is a progressive, left, radical,
00:27:23.400 Islamic-induced party, and the top of their agenda is revenge. The top of their agenda 1.00
00:27:29.120 is destruction of our way of life. The DSA, which has now come to dominate the Democrat Party,
00:27:36.100 is very open about their goals. They want to do away with the U.S. Senate. They want to add
00:27:41.140 members to the Supreme Court, or
00:27:43.080 others want to do away with the Supreme Court.
00:27:45.600 Impossible. Entirely.
00:27:47.960 They offer you, of course,
00:27:49.280 free this, free that, free everything
00:27:51.360 without ever saying who will actually
00:27:53.380 pay for it. Socialism
00:27:55.320 has never worked, nor has communism.
00:27:57.520 They're really pretty much the same thing.
00:28:00.160 Socialism being a
00:28:01.260 half-step to communism has never
00:28:03.200 worked on the face of the earth.
00:28:05.540 It has brought poverty.
00:28:07.520 It has brought
00:28:08.720 the chilling of human rights. It has brought starvation. It has brought horrific abuse of
00:28:18.340 its people, but it has not ever produced prosperity. Very clear what the Democrats
00:28:24.800 have in mind should they win these next elections. Speaking of that question, I think it's important
00:28:31.620 to note that the polls are beginning to look quite interesting to me. Now, I wanted to make
00:28:37.680 it very clear. I've said this many times on The Stone Zone. There are polls and there are polls.
00:28:42.920 Americans are poll happy. We're poll crazy. But not every poll you read about on X or every poll
00:28:49.080 you read about on social media is legitimate. A legitimate poll has many criteria. First of all,
00:28:56.280 the sample size needs to be large enough to be scientifically meaningful. Secondarily,
00:29:01.660 it has to be properly weighted and drawn so it accurately reflects the electorate which you're
00:29:07.400 trying to measure, in other words, the correct number of men, women, Catholics, Protestants,
00:29:13.100 Hispanics, young, old, and so on.
00:29:16.000 You have to have a true sample.
00:29:18.120 Then you have to have questions that are worded in a completely neutral and unbiased way.
00:29:26.020 And then lastly, the order of the questions is crucial.
00:29:29.180 So, for example, if you said in taking a poll, Sam Brown has never paid taxes, does that
00:29:37.160 make you more likely or less likely to vote for Sam Brown, before you ask the ballot question of
00:29:42.300 Sam Brown versus his opponent, say, Johnny Jones, that's called order bias. A lot of these polls
00:29:50.040 that I'm looking at are designed for two things. One, it is to depress voters. In other words,
00:29:58.500 if you're a Republican voter and you see a poll that shows the Democrats winning handily,
00:30:02.360 You are disincentrified to vote.
00:30:08.520 You are unenthusiastic about voting.
00:30:11.320 That is the goal, to suppress the vote.
00:30:16.240 The other one, of course, is for the bandwagon effect and therefore fundraising.
00:30:21.980 So, for example, in one of the most outrageous examples of misconduct I've ever seen by a pollster,
00:30:30.480 A poll in the 21st District of New York, that's the seat where Elise Stefanik is retiring.
00:30:38.220 Republicans have nominated businessman Anthony Constantino.
00:30:42.060 Democrats have nominated a local farmer named Blake Gendabean.
00:30:46.780 But the Siena Institute produced a poll in which they said Gendabean was ahead.
00:30:52.580 But that's because they included a man named Christopher, who is not on the ballot, who is simply a write-in candidate in their ballot question.
00:31:03.160 This is malpractice. It got the desired headline, but all the credible polls that I've seen show that in this Republican district, which is more competitive than usual because of the national environment, that Constantino continues to maintain a slim but significant lead.
00:31:26.080 What does surprise me in the same polling is how strong Bruce Blakeman is running against Governor Kathy Hochul.
00:31:34.120 And now I've seen a gain by the Republican candidate for attorney general as well.
00:31:39.540 The other number that jumped out at me last time I looked at data from this region, I've looked at three upstate polls,
00:31:46.020 is that Chuck Schumer could be the single most unpopular politician that I have seen in my 50 years in American politics, either Republican or Democrat.
00:31:56.040 In one congressional district I looked at, he had a 72% disapproval rating.
00:32:01.860 That was 42% strongly disapproved, 30% said only somewhat disapproved.
00:32:07.340 So the poll number has some intensity to it.
00:32:11.060 If I were Chuck Schumer, I would avoid the mistakes so many other senators have made by hanging out in Washington too long and running for that last term.
00:32:20.780 The late, great Jacob Javits did that only to lose his seat.
00:32:25.400 He did so while extraordinarily ill.
00:32:28.000 He was a great man.
00:32:29.220 He was a great senator.
00:32:30.140 He served the Empire State well, but he didn't know when to hang it up.
00:32:34.460 And I'm afraid that that is the case with Chuck Schumer.
00:32:37.320 I'm Roger Stone.
00:32:38.140 We're talking all things politics here in the Stone Zone.
00:32:40.860 And we'll be right back.
00:32:43.460 The Stone Zone.
00:32:44.860 Entertaining and informative.
00:32:46.900 On the Red Apple Podcast Network.
00:32:55.400 this is the stone zone now get in the zone it's the stone zone a man who's gone through hell
00:33:07.800 but he's kept going and he's smart and he's strong and people love him not everybody but
00:33:13.960 people love him and respect him roger stone where's roger stone here's roger stone
00:33:19.980 Welcome back into the Stoner Zone.
00:33:22.760 Senator Alyssa Slotkin, Democrat of Michigan, said during an appearance at the University of Chicago on Tuesday
00:33:28.540 that she wants planned prosecutions of all Trump administration figures to deter young people from taking jobs in the administration.
00:33:36.800 She, of course, doesn't cite any evidence of indictable crimes or corruption.
00:33:41.020 The Michigan Democrat made the remarks at the University of Chicago's Institute of Politics during a live recording of Vox America's Actually podcast with editorial director Astide Herndon.
00:33:54.100 A clip of the exchange circulated widely on X.
00:33:57.860 What's amazing about this is, of course, Slotkin was one of those veterans who only months ago urged those in our armed services to ignore orders from the commander in chief.
00:34:08.760 that in itself, I think, is seditious. So she's part of the seditious. Six, it will come as no
00:34:16.180 surprise to you that Slotkin formally worked for the CIA. She says she wants to examine what she
00:34:22.840 calls signature cases and target not only the president, but all of the officials around him.
00:34:28.560 I want to look at these signature cases, not just focus on the president, but on the people who
00:34:33.020 enabled him. Slotkin said, I want young people coming out of school to say, should I go to work
00:34:38.280 to the Trump administration. That sounds like fun. It might be an opportunity. I want them to
00:34:42.600 be like, Lord, that might be buying myself a ton of problems that I don't want. So let me avoid
00:34:48.020 participating in that. I want that deterrence message. This is a chilling talk from any
00:34:53.780 elected official. The account posted the video, I think it was Thinker Chicago,
00:35:00.360 claiming the senator hopes the planned prosecutions will frighten young conservatives
00:35:04.020 away from politics forever. What would have happened if this had been said before the
00:35:08.260 campaign of Barry Goldwater, whose losing campaign still gave birth to an entire conservative
00:35:13.780 movement that ultimately elected Ronald Reagan and then later Donald Trump? Slotkin argued the
00:35:20.580 Democrats should pursue prosecution of Trump officials if they retake Congress, comparing
00:35:25.120 the effort to post-authoritarian cleanups in Europe. In Poland, they call this the iron broom,
00:35:31.360 cleaning the place up, Slotkin said at the time. The goal here is to have a list of signature
00:35:36.440 cases that go after some of the most obvious and harmful abuses of taxpayer dollars. The irony
00:35:42.100 here, of course, is that I could tell you of at least three and perhaps four crimes that there's
00:35:46.500 substantial evidence that Slotkin herself has engaged in. So this is nothing but hardcore
00:35:52.600 partisan warfare. It's not about accountability and justice. It's about revenge and retaliation
00:36:02.360 by the Democrats. In her speech, the former CIA officer named Homeland Security Kristi Noem,
00:36:08.560 Interior Secretary Doug Burgum, and U.S. Attorney Jeanine Pirrois figures she argues should be held
00:36:13.880 accountable, telling the audience that misusing taxpayer money can land you a sentence of up to
00:36:18.880 20 years. Needless to say, she put forward no evidence that any of those three officials
00:36:24.680 have engaged in those activities. The comments come after months of Slotkin herself was the
00:36:30.120 target of a Trump Justice Department investigation. Pirro's office sought to indict the senator and
00:36:35.580 five other Democrat lawmakers over a 90-second video urging military members to refuse orders
00:36:43.100 from the commander-in-chief.
00:36:45.460 Trump called it seditious, pointed out that treason was punishment by death.
00:36:50.060 Of course, in D.C., a federal grand jury declined to return an indictment in February.
00:36:55.540 It's very clear that what the Democrats have planned,
00:36:58.440 it is an all-out assault on Donald Trump, his cabinet, his family, and his supporters.
00:37:07.740 Meanwhile, they have no plan to lower gas prices.
00:37:11.540 They have no plan to create jobs.
00:37:14.340 They have no plan to lower food prices.
00:37:17.240 They have no plans to make housing more affordable and more available.
00:37:22.140 They have no plan to end the war in Ukraine and Russia.
00:37:26.800 And God knows what they might do in Iran, where there's a very real danger of the regime having nuclear weapons.
00:37:35.240 I'm Roger Stone, and I'm trying to, like Paul Revere, blow the bugle here so you know exactly what the Democrat Party has in mind.
00:37:44.020 If anybody wants to know what will happen to this country, I urge you to look at these videos of what's happening right now in France. 0.99
00:37:50.440 It is chaos as a wave of illegal immigrants are on a crime spree destroying what was one of the greatest countries on earth, a place that Napoleon turned into a show place. 1.00
