The Tucker Carlson Show - Full Speech： Tucker’s Charlie Kirk Memorial & Their Best Moments on God, Christianity, and Hope

00:00:00.000 Ladies and gentlemen, Tucker Carlson.

00:00:13.020 Oh, that made me emotional.

00:00:15.680 Made me emotional to see that.

00:00:18.600 Susie Wiles had tears in her eyes,

00:00:20.680 which you don't often see in politics, but it's real.

00:00:24.520 This is the most unbelievable thing I think I've ever seen.

00:00:27.320 And I don't...

00:00:31.320 Whatever happens next in America, I hope it's in this direction

00:00:35.920 because God is here and you can feel it.

00:00:39.480 And Charlie would have loved this,

00:00:40.640 not just because he loved large groups of people,

00:00:43.740 but because ultimately he was a Christian evangelist.

00:00:47.580 And it actually reminds me of my favorite story ever.

00:00:51.640 So it's about 2,000 years ago in Jerusalem

00:00:54.200 and Jesus shows up and he starts talking about the people in power

00:00:59.420 and he starts doing the worst thing that you can do,

00:01:03.500 which is telling the truth about people.

00:01:05.680 And they hate it and they just go bonkers.

00:01:08.280 They hate it and they become obsessed with making him stop.

00:01:11.160 This guy's got to stop talking.

00:01:13.000 We've got to shut this guy up.

00:01:15.260 And I can just sort of picture the scene

00:01:17.080 in a lamp-lit room with a bunch of guys sitting around

00:01:19.600 and eating hummus thinking about what do we do

00:01:21.660 about this guy telling the truth about us.

00:01:24.940 We must make him stop talking.

00:01:28.140 And there's always one guy with the bright idea

00:01:30.320 and I can just hear him say, 1.00

00:01:31.440 I've got an idea, why don't we just kill him? 1.00

00:01:34.020 That'll shut him up. 1.00

00:01:35.960 That'll fix the problem.

00:01:37.180 It doesn't work that way.

00:01:45.700 It doesn't work that way.

00:01:47.080 Everything is inverted and the Beatitudes tell it,

00:01:49.860 I think, the most crisply.

00:01:51.380 Everything is sort of the opposite

00:01:52.420 of what you think it's going to be.

00:01:54.920 Blessed are those who mourn for they will be comforted.

00:01:57.360 That is true and you can feel it here.

00:02:00.140 The thing about Charlie's message,

00:02:01.720 I've thought a lot about it

00:02:02.860 and I'm trying not to be emotional

00:02:04.580 because in addition to everything else,

00:02:06.440 he was a wonderful man and a decent man

00:02:08.120 and one of those rare people you meet

00:02:09.820 who you just groove with in conversation

00:02:11.500 and have these very intense conversations

00:02:13.700 that you don't stop thinking about,

00:02:15.160 which is my experience with him.

00:02:16.800 But the main thing about Charlie and his message,

00:02:20.140 he was bringing the gospel to the country.

00:02:24.220 He was doing the thing

00:02:25.700 that the people in charge hate most,

00:02:28.660 which is calling for them to repent.

00:02:30.840 So how is Charlie's message different?

00:02:35.500 And Charlie was a political person

00:02:37.160 who was deeply interested in coalition building

00:02:41.460 and in getting the right people in office

00:02:43.480 because he knew that vast improvements

00:02:47.040 are possible politically.

00:02:48.560 But he also knew that politics is not the final answer.

00:02:52.540 It can't answer the deepest questions, actually.

00:02:55.700 That the only real solution is Jesus.

00:02:59.500 And the reason, it's really simple.

00:03:05.880 Politics at its core is a process

00:03:09.300 of critiquing other people and getting them to change.

00:03:13.940 Christianity, the gospel message,

00:03:16.460 the message of Jesus begins with repentance.

00:03:21.300 Christianity calls upon you to change. 0.97

00:03:24.700 Our core prayer given to us by Jesus,

00:03:30.020 the Lord's prayer,

00:03:32.500 demands that we forgive other people,

00:03:35.040 but preceding that is a request for our forgiveness.

00:03:39.140 In other words, forgive us our sins,

00:03:41.920 meditate on what we've done wrong,

00:03:43.580 how we've fallen short,

00:03:44.820 and then it becomes possible to forgive other people.

00:03:47.980 That is a call to change our hearts from Jesus.

00:03:53.740 And that is the only way forward in this country.

00:03:56.900 That is the only solution to where we all know we're going.

00:04:00.360 And Charlie knew where we were going without that.

00:04:04.000 And that is not a call for being politically passive.

00:04:06.240 Of course not.

00:04:07.900 I stood in many stages with Charlie

00:04:09.540 calling for various people to be elected,

00:04:10.940 particularly Donald Trump.

00:04:12.280 And I'm proud of that.

00:04:13.380 It's only an acknowledgement that what Charlie was really saying

00:04:17.280 is that change begins the only change that matters

00:04:21.220 when we repent of our sins.

00:04:25.640 We, me.

00:04:28.120 A recognition that the real problem is me

00:04:30.640 and how fallen I am.

00:04:33.340 And that was the reason that Charlie was fearless

00:04:37.880 at all times, truly fearless.

00:04:40.160 To his last moment, he was unafraid.

00:04:43.780 He was not defensive.

00:04:45.220 And there was no hate in his heart.

00:04:47.760 I know that because I've got a little hate compartment

00:04:49.800 in my heart.

00:04:50.820 And I would often express that to Charlie

00:04:52.940 about various people.

00:04:54.120 And he would always say, always say,

00:04:56.400 that's a sad person.

00:04:58.200 That's a broken person.

00:04:59.280 That's a person who needs help.

00:05:00.680 That's a person who needs Jesus.

00:05:03.260 He said that in private.

00:05:06.300 Because he meant it.

00:05:08.380 So I guess I would just say this gathering

00:05:10.740 and God's presence,

00:05:11.860 God's very obvious presence in this room,

00:05:14.140 the presence of Jesus,

00:05:15.240 is a reminder of what we've known for 2,000 years,

00:05:19.900 which is any attempt to extinguish the light

00:05:23.900 causes it to burn brighter.

00:05:26.320 Every single time.

00:05:28.300 So as we proceed into whatever comes next,

00:05:38.300 and clearly something's coming next,

00:05:42.080 remember this moment.

00:05:44.080 Remember being in a room with the Holy Spirit

00:05:46.980 humming like a tuning fork.

00:05:48.680 This is the way.

00:05:52.360 Right here.

00:05:53.440 This is the way.

00:05:55.280 And that is what Charlie Kirk was saying

00:05:57.160 underneath it all.

00:05:58.140 Thank you.

00:05:58.800 And God bless.

00:06:08.860 Charlie Kirk, ladies and gentlemen.

00:06:10.300 Your faith is the most important thing

00:06:16.060 because for those of us that are Christians,

00:06:18.280 it doesn't drive you crazy.

00:06:20.980 You actually see what's going on,

00:06:23.320 which is that we do not wrestle against flesh and blood,

00:06:26.100 but against principalities and darkness and spirits,

00:06:29.940 that there is a spiritual war here.

00:06:32.340 And you're right, Tucker.

00:06:34.180 I find people in this space

00:06:36.640 that are not anchored to faith,

00:06:39.920 anchored to Jesus,

00:06:41.320 they do lose their mind

00:06:42.680 because there is no rational

00:06:46.140 or reasonable explanation

00:06:48.080 for what the country is doing to itself

00:06:50.740 or what we are experiencing.

00:06:52.580 But if you then see and you know

00:06:54.640 that there is a God and we are not him,

00:06:58.500 that there is an entire dimension

00:07:00.320 of angels and demons and spirits

00:07:03.380 that are constantly struggling around us

00:07:06.040 and that there is a supernatural dimension,

00:07:08.660 as you mentioned,

00:07:09.640 all of a sudden that does then make sense.

00:07:11.820 We're just here temporarily in the Christian view.

00:07:14.260 There's an afterlife for us.

00:07:15.740 There's the next life.

00:07:17.000 Our bodies will actually resurrect.

00:07:19.080 Christ our Lord will come back

00:07:20.420 and reign over this earth

00:07:21.740 in the thousand year millennia.

00:07:23.200 So we shouldn't be overly fixated.

00:07:24.980 But until that happens, they're rotting.

00:07:26.620 We're all rotting.

00:07:27.100 By the way, it's like-

00:07:27.860 So just like deal with it, accept it.

00:07:28.940 Yes, exactly.

00:07:29.720 Like you have an expiration date.

00:07:31.280 Yes.

00:07:31.620 And God is in charge of that.

00:07:34.800 So what do you do with that?

00:07:36.060 Amen.

00:07:36.340 And so if you look at the biblical figures,

00:07:38.480 they weren't like overly interested

00:07:40.020 in like, you know, mastering the back nine.

00:07:44.240 No.

00:07:44.880 You know, at the Naples Country Club.

00:07:46.400 No.

00:07:46.820 It was, God wants us in four words.

00:07:49.680 Love God, love people.

00:07:50.780 For those of us that know the truth,

00:07:53.460 we know that our God is a God of order and distinction.

00:07:57.000 What is the first thing that God did?

00:07:58.560 In the Hebrew scriptures, it says,

00:08:00.460 well, and also our scripture in the original Genesis,

00:08:03.120 Bereshit, which is in the beginning,

00:08:04.560 God created the heavens and the earth.

00:08:05.920 And then he separated and he made sense.

00:08:08.460 He made order out of chaos.

00:08:10.680 Our God is a God of order.

00:08:12.480 And order only comes with distinctions.

00:08:14.840 And distinctions are necessary.

00:08:17.200 Think about all the distinctions that God set up

00:08:19.400 in the first six books of Genesis

00:08:21.120 that are currently under attack.

00:08:23.140 The distinction between male and female.

00:08:26.560 The distinction between man and nature.

00:08:29.860 The distinction between the holy and the profane.

00:08:33.100 The distinction between good and evil.

00:08:36.460 The distinction between infant and adult.

00:08:39.720 These distinctions have always been

00:08:42.060 what Western civilization were built upon.

00:08:44.480 But it is Satan's goal to blur

00:08:46.700 and eventually destroy those distinctions.

00:08:49.320 Because those distinctions of which we get order,

00:08:51.400 and if you do not have that order,

00:08:53.300 then you have the closest thing

00:08:54.580 to satanic chaos here in our country.

00:08:58.760 Man!

00:09:00.780 People can't see the future.

00:09:02.960 Period.

00:09:03.580 Because they're not God.

00:09:04.860 They can only sort of muddle along

00:09:06.160 in the half darkness and do their best.

00:09:08.660 And so as soon as you have leaders who imagine

00:09:10.700 that there's a really clear line

00:09:13.360 between today and three years from now,

00:09:16.260 and they can see what it is,

00:09:17.440 like you're going to wind up in disaster.

00:09:19.460 The Ukraine war.

00:09:20.380 Again, we're surrounded by examples of this.

00:09:23.680 And so really what you need in a leader

00:09:25.120 is good intent.

00:09:27.000 And humility.

00:09:27.840 And humility.

00:09:28.520 Those are the two things.

00:09:29.540 You want someone who, you know,

00:09:31.400 imperfect as he may be,

00:09:32.380 will make a good faith effort

00:09:33.620 to uplift his people, A.

00:09:35.980 And B, you need someone

00:09:37.440 who understands his limits in doing that.

00:09:40.120 Like I'm going to try.

00:09:41.260 His place too.

00:09:42.160 Yeah.

00:09:42.380 There's a God.

00:09:43.240 I'm not him.

00:09:44.000 There's something sovereign above me.

00:09:45.540 And you're not allowed to kill people

00:09:48.140 except in self-defense.

00:09:50.340 Let me repeat.

00:09:50.920 You are not allowed to kill people

00:09:52.740 except in self-defense. 0.96

00:09:54.120 And if you do, you are evil.

00:09:55.500 What about spreading democracy?

00:09:56.880 It's really, you know,

00:09:57.860 it comes in all these various justifications

00:10:00.560 throughout time.

00:10:01.740 But just to restate,

00:10:02.880 you are not allowed to kill people

00:10:05.240 except in self-defense.

00:10:06.800 That's the most basic rule of them all.

00:10:09.100 And if you find yourself doing that,

00:10:10.520 you are evil or abetting evil

00:10:11.840 on the side of evil.

00:10:13.460 And if you lose that,

00:10:14.980 and like people make mistakes all the time

00:10:16.680 and what you think is self-defense

00:10:18.460 is actually an act of aggression or whatever.

00:10:20.180 I mean, these are complicated scenarios

00:10:22.260 as they occur, right?

00:10:23.700 And you do your best to make the right decision.

00:10:26.240 But if you don't go into it

00:10:27.560 with the knowledge that as a human being,

00:10:29.460 you are not in charge of life,

00:10:30.620 you did not create it,

00:10:31.520 and you were not allowed to take it

00:10:32.780 except to preserve your own life

00:10:34.100 or those are the people you love

00:10:36.480 or the people you're in charge of.

00:10:37.560 If you don't know that and say it

00:10:39.820 and repeat it to yourself every single day, 0.74

00:10:41.440 you will wind up murdering 0.81

00:10:43.900 millions and millions of people.

00:10:45.920 I really believe that there's such a hatred

00:10:47.780 for Christianity that any part of the population

00:10:50.080 that is like remotely Christian,

00:10:51.580 they inherently hate you 0.99

00:10:52.980 because the real goal is to eliminate Christianity.

00:10:56.680 Do you notice that they never are like enthusiastic

00:10:59.820 about bringing in major parts of the population

00:11:02.440 of Eastern Europe that are super Christian?

00:11:04.760 Yet they're like,

00:11:05.460 let's go bring in the witchcraft country. 1.00

00:11:07.560 Kind of weird.

00:11:08.960 Like more witchcraft, 0.96

00:11:10.100 less Christianity. 0.99

00:11:10.860 I don't understand how that works out.

00:11:12.860 But the contempt is very simple.

00:11:17.080 Is that they think that they are so much better than you.

00:11:21.280 It is an elitist hierarchical position

00:11:23.820 and that you're an annoyance. 0.57

00:11:26.280 That your concerns,

00:11:28.260 that what you're doing

00:11:28.960 is just kind of stay out of the way.

00:11:30.460 And I know people disagree with me.

00:11:31.580 I think this is behind the push

00:11:32.680 for legalizing marijuana.

00:11:34.260 I think this is the push

00:11:35.040 for trying to overly medicate the society

00:11:36.720 is they do not want a disagreeable citizenry.

00:11:40.060 This is why they want testosterone rates to go down.

00:11:42.340 This is why they wanted to kick 0.77

00:11:43.380 the alpha men out of the military

00:11:47.500 with the vaccine

00:11:48.460 is because a population

00:11:50.380 that asks questions

00:11:52.100 and stands up to the powerful

00:11:53.640 is a threat to them.

00:11:55.320 So they'd much rather have you be subdued,

00:11:57.440 just watch TV,

00:11:58.320 not care about what's happening

00:12:00.060 and just kind of stay on your benzodiazepines

00:12:02.520 or Valium or marijuana

00:12:04.740 and three beers a night

00:12:06.380 and then you're agreeable.

00:12:07.860 But what has always made America different

00:12:10.500 as a beacon of liberty

00:12:11.500 is that we would call BS on tyranny

00:12:13.400 whenever we see it.

00:12:14.800 And that is what is at the heart of this movement.

00:12:17.740 And they look at you as an annoyance.

00:12:20.900 Do people want to be free?

00:12:22.460 And that is a very difficult question to answer.

00:12:25.720 In the book of Exodus and Numbers,

00:12:28.320 the answer is no.

00:12:30.080 Is that if you fail to teach a generation

00:12:32.480 the value of liberty,

00:12:33.860 they actually instinctively

00:12:35.000 don't want to be free.

00:12:36.500 When God delivered his chosen people

00:12:38.440 out of Egypt

00:12:38.960 and he performed the most amazing miracles imaginable,

00:12:41.880 you know,

00:12:42.140 the Nile River goes red

00:12:44.280 and frogs from the sky

00:12:45.480 and the firstborn dead

00:12:47.440 and the Red Sea parts

00:12:49.660 and they go into the Sinai Desert.

00:12:52.440 After a couple chapters,

00:12:54.060 they're like,

00:12:54.840 hey, we want to go back to Egypt.

00:12:56.920 We want to go back to slavery.

00:12:58.760 Why?

00:13:00.000 Because the food was better.

00:13:02.240 Literally, we had melons,

00:13:04.240 leeks, cucumbers, and meat.

00:13:06.340 And they say,

00:13:06.740 hey, Moses,

00:13:07.560 can we go back to Egypt?

00:13:08.900 Now, mind you,

00:13:09.280 this is when God

00:13:10.200 blew quail off course

00:13:11.880 and manna from heaven

00:13:13.020 and they need and wanted for nothing,

00:13:14.580 but they preferred to be slaves

00:13:16.820 that were taken care of

00:13:18.060 than free citizens in the desert

00:13:20.400 where they had to be responsible.

00:13:22.840 And that is a very important lesson

00:13:25.220 for all of us

00:13:26.060 that liberty is a value

00:13:27.860 that we must pass on,

00:13:29.620 that we must cherish,

00:13:31.080 and part of the population

00:13:32.700 will never wake up

00:13:33.760 because they would rather be in Egypt.

00:13:36.340 And what is in front of us

00:13:37.680 in this election cycle

00:13:38.720 and what is in front of us

00:13:40.000 in this culture right now

00:13:41.140 is do you want to live

00:13:42.520 as a free citizen?

00:13:43.680 And that might be hard.

00:13:45.240 That means you have to

00:13:46.320 provide for your family.

00:13:48.120 You might have to make tough decisions.

00:13:49.260 Or do you want to just go be

00:13:50.780 a Russian serf back in Egypt

00:13:52.980 where they give you

00:13:54.100 your little ration every month

00:13:55.660 and you have no liberty

00:13:56.880 and you have no freedom?

00:13:58.280 That is really what's

00:13:59.280 in front of us right now.

00:14:00.680 And I think we're seeing

00:14:02.460 a revival begin to happen

00:14:04.140 because it really is spiritual

00:14:05.100 at its core

00:14:05.740 where the American people

00:14:07.620 are going to demand,

00:14:08.580 no, we do not want

00:14:09.920 to go back to Egypt.

00:14:10.960 We want to live free.

00:14:12.440 We know it's harder,

00:14:13.680 but that is the American way.

00:14:19.260 So you really feel that?

00:14:21.080 I mean, I think it's important.

00:14:22.700 I feel that too,

00:14:23.500 but I'm not quite as articulate

00:14:24.640 on this question as you are

00:14:26.620 and I don't travel as much.

00:14:28.160 But you see signs of that?

00:14:30.580 Oh my goodness, yes.

00:14:31.700 I just want to say

00:14:32.340 I'm not predicting

00:14:33.160 that Donald Trump

00:14:33.900 will win in November.

00:14:34.860 If we had an election,

00:14:36.060 by the way,

00:14:36.400 where we didn't have

00:14:36.840 mail-in ballots

00:14:37.440 all over the place

00:14:38.240 and signature verification,

00:14:39.600 I think Donald Trump

00:14:40.280 would easily win in November

00:14:41.480 for the record,

00:14:42.200 but we don't.

00:14:43.780 Tucker, when we go

00:14:44.680 to college campuses,

00:14:45.560 I was at Kansas State

00:14:46.720 today, by the way.

00:14:47.340 I will tell you

00:14:50.720 they didn't treat us

00:14:52.940 very well,

00:14:53.440 so you guys got to

00:14:54.000 call them up and say

00:14:54.840 they were worse than

00:14:56.100 Boulder and Madison,

00:14:56.960 by the way.

00:14:57.680 I'm not here to talk about that.

00:14:59.340 Is that true?

00:15:00.760 Very liberal administration.

00:15:02.380 We had an outdoor event.

00:15:03.480 In the state of Kansas.

00:15:04.680 Yeah, we had 2,000 kids there

00:15:06.200 and we had a permit

00:15:07.840 for amplification

00:15:08.800 and it ended at one

00:15:10.500 and usually campuses

00:15:11.460 let us go over one.

00:15:12.520 Okay, you have 2,000 kids.

00:15:13.920 Not a big deal.

00:15:14.420 I was literally in Boulder

00:15:15.500 this week.

00:15:16.100 Administration was like,

00:15:16.760 it's fine.

00:15:17.340 You guys are having a good time.

00:15:18.620 You know, we're not...

00:15:19.500 I was in Madison.

00:15:20.320 It's fine.

00:15:21.040 In Manhattan, Kansas,

00:15:22.180 the minute that we hit

00:15:23.560 the end of our permit,

00:15:24.820 they started like

00:15:25.300 pulling out plugs.

00:15:26.120 You got to turn off

00:15:26.680 all the mics.

00:15:27.580 Never seen anything like it.

00:15:28.820 It was insane.

00:15:29.820 So, for those of you

00:15:31.580 that are alum of Kansas State,

00:15:32.940 you should contact them

00:15:33.980 and stop giving money

00:15:35.060 to Kansas State.

00:15:36.240 Pull your donations

00:15:37.080 from Kansas State.

00:15:38.300 Okay, so...

00:15:39.540 No, I'm not kidding.

00:15:41.440 Do not fund schools

00:15:43.460 that treat conservatives

00:15:44.420 this way.

00:15:44.760 And by the way,

00:15:45.240 you could say,

00:15:45.660 why is it that

00:15:46.840 CU Boulder,

00:15:48.080 which is like Leningrad,

00:15:49.680 treated Charlie Kirk

00:15:50.960 better than Kansas State?

00:15:52.820 Great talking point.

00:15:54.180 But when we do these events,

00:15:56.220 Tucker,

00:15:56.500 on campus,

00:15:57.320 we cannot find rooms

00:15:59.340 big enough

00:15:59.740 to fit all the students

00:16:00.760 that want to attend

00:16:01.700 our on-campus events.

00:16:03.300 Really?

00:16:03.940 We cannot find

00:16:04.860 physical spaces

00:16:05.840 to fit all the students

00:16:07.520 that want to come

00:16:08.440 to our events.

00:16:08.840 Gen Z men 0.68

00:16:10.060 are the most conservative

00:16:11.760 that men have been

00:16:12.540 in 50 years.

00:16:14.300 50 years.

00:16:16.720 And

00:16:17.200 I also see

00:16:20.300 I see

00:16:21.440 young and old

00:16:22.580 of people

00:16:23.060 that are starting

00:16:23.580 to shed

00:16:24.240 their prior affiliations.

00:16:26.120 Republican, Democrat

00:16:26.740 mean nothing.

00:16:27.820 And they're starting

00:16:28.440 to get down

00:16:28.880 to first principles.

00:16:30.340 And I mean,

00:16:30.620 we do every day.

00:16:31.580 Anyone watch

00:16:31.940 the Charlie Kirk show,

00:16:32.640 by the way?

00:16:32.960 Anyone?

00:16:33.320 Thank you guys.

00:16:33.920 It really means a lot.

00:16:34.440 And

00:16:35.460 I have to stay

00:16:37.740 ahead of the audience.

00:16:39.020 How informed

00:16:39.860 the average listener

00:16:41.040 and viewer is?

00:16:42.420 Have you noticed this,

00:16:43.240 Tucker?

00:16:43.880 The depth...

00:16:44.720 I don't solicit feedback.

00:16:45.760 I don't want to be embarrassed.

00:16:46.940 Yeah, but

00:16:47.340 they are actively

00:16:49.120 correcting me.

00:16:50.480 If I get a date wrong,

00:16:51.980 if I get a name wrong,

00:16:53.620 emailing,

00:16:54.120 Charlie,

00:16:54.420 you should know

00:16:54.740 better than that.

00:16:55.340 And I love that

00:16:57.760 because that means

00:16:58.720 that

00:16:59.080 the learning

00:17:01.900 is a two-way street

00:17:03.220 and that

00:17:04.320 I really believe

00:17:05.220 and I learned this

00:17:06.080 from Dr. Larry Arnn

00:17:06.940 from Hillsdale College.

00:17:08.280 He said,

00:17:08.620 Charlie,

00:17:09.000 we will not save

00:17:09.740 the country.

00:17:10.500 By the way,

00:17:10.880 Hillsdale is America's 0.86

00:17:11.800 greatest college.

00:17:12.340 We all agree.

00:17:13.040 It really is.

00:17:14.260 He said,

00:17:15.160 we will not save

00:17:16.200 the country

00:17:16.820 until we get

00:17:18.940 the citizenry

00:17:20.160 to want to

00:17:21.320 prioritize learning

00:17:22.280 because you cannot

00:17:22.960 have liberty

00:17:23.680 without learning.

00:17:24.840 And I don't mean

00:17:25.220 liberty like public

00:17:26.160 school learning.

00:17:27.040 I mean,

00:17:27.580 hey,

00:17:27.800 instead of watching

00:17:28.480 the ninth NFL

00:17:29.460 football game

00:17:30.080 that weekend,

00:17:30.960 turn it off

00:17:31.500 and listen to

00:17:33.000 an audio book.

00:17:34.100 Read the Gulag Archipelago.

00:17:35.580 Read 1984.

00:17:36.760 Read Brave New World.

00:17:38.820 Go deeper.

00:17:40.440 That,

00:17:40.820 that is,

00:17:42.000 the regime

00:17:42.740 hates

00:17:43.480 an informed population.

00:17:45.460 They hate

00:17:46.280 that you guys

00:17:46.800 know what's going on.

00:17:47.860 They despise

00:17:49.240 when you know history.

00:17:51.160 Is it Ecclesiastes?

00:17:52.260 I think it is.

00:17:52.880 By Solomon?

00:17:53.780 By what?

00:17:54.820 Ecclesiastes,

00:17:55.340 the book.

00:17:55.640 Yes,

00:17:55.820 correct,

00:17:56.160 yeah.

00:17:56.760 You know,

00:17:57.120 sort of like,

00:17:57.520 one of the two books

00:17:58.080 written by Solomon.

00:17:58.740 Yeah,

00:17:59.240 like,

00:17:59.680 what is all this?

00:18:00.400 The first line was,

00:18:01.440 this is all meaningless.

00:18:02.200 Exactly,

00:18:02.940 that's exactly right.

00:18:03.840 What a depressing book.

00:18:05.780 It literally opens up

00:18:07.280 like it's like

00:18:07.960 a suicidal 17-year-old

00:18:09.460 dog.

00:18:09.740 It totally is.

00:18:10.460 Like,

00:18:10.800 meaningless,

00:18:11.400 meaningless,

00:18:11.860 all that is meaningless.

00:18:12.860 It's Ecclesiastes 1,

00:18:14.040 and you're like,

00:18:14.580 what is this?

00:18:15.720 You've probably read it

00:18:16.640 like 10 times

00:18:17.460 and understand it's deeper meaning.

00:18:18.820 It actually gets better

00:18:19.780 because he says with God

00:18:21.340 there actually is meaning.

00:18:22.060 No,

00:18:22.280 that's right,

00:18:22.880 and I've read it

00:18:24.260 precisely one time

00:18:25.600 sitting alone.

00:18:26.220 Solomon had all the women 1.00

00:18:27.400 he wanted,

00:18:27.820 all the trappings,

00:18:28.520 all the splendor,

00:18:29.220 and he's like,

00:18:29.640 it's all meaningless.

00:18:30.600 But that is kind of the,

00:18:31.840 that is exactly,

00:18:32.960 that is the one thing

00:18:33.660 that I,

00:18:33.960 not that I have all the women 0.99

00:18:34.720 and all the money

00:18:35.220 or whatever,

00:18:35.760 but like you do reach

00:18:36.520 an age in life

00:18:37.020 where you're like,

00:18:37.400 okay,

00:18:37.840 you know,

00:18:38.060 I've achieved all my 0.99

00:18:38.880 dumb little goals 0.98

00:18:39.640 that I set out for myself, 0.99

00:18:40.700 and they're all very small bore

00:18:42.240 because they always are,

00:18:43.700 and like,

00:18:45.420 okay,

00:18:46.240 like what,

00:18:47.200 is that,

00:18:47.540 was that worth it?

00:18:48.540 Was the prize worth winning?

00:18:49.780 Did that bring me,

00:18:51.040 you know,

00:18:52.280 joy and fulfillment

00:18:53.600 and like knowledge of,

00:18:55.860 you know,

00:18:56.860 eternal life?

00:18:57.480 No.

00:18:58.100 And so I do think

00:18:59.040 that is a,

00:18:59.520 that is very common,

00:19:00.640 that's almost universal

00:19:01.620 among middle-aged men

00:19:04.240 who run by and large

00:19:05.780 the U.S. government,

00:19:06.460 and so it's a very

00:19:08.480 natural temptation

00:19:09.260 to be like,

00:19:09.680 you know,

00:19:09.840 what can I achieve?

00:19:11.060 I try to read the Bible

00:19:11.860 every day.

00:19:12.620 I can't stand

00:19:13.680 reading a digital Bible

00:19:15.260 unless I absolutely have to.

00:19:16.760 I write,

00:19:17.400 I like reading

00:19:18.060 from a physical Bible.

00:19:20.080 No distractions,

00:19:22.220 no pings,

00:19:22.920 no dings,

00:19:23.700 no phone calls,

00:19:24.520 no tweets,

00:19:25.140 no telegrams,

00:19:26.340 and yeah,

00:19:27.680 that's the other thing,

00:19:28.420 which is,

00:19:29.180 if we want to get back

00:19:29.860 to first principles

00:19:30.680 and you want hope,

00:19:32.740 we must put God first

00:19:34.140 in everything that we do

00:19:35.500 and understand

00:19:36.420 that we are nothing here

00:19:38.740 but just for a short instant,

00:19:40.760 a short little glimpse,

00:19:42.880 and we act

00:19:44.160 not out of outcome,

00:19:46.240 but we act out of obedience.

00:19:48.400 What I am doing right now

00:19:49.680 to try to help Trump win

00:19:51.500 and try to do all these things,

00:19:53.180 I have no idea

00:19:54.440 if we'll be successful.

00:19:55.760 So why do you do it, Charlie?

00:19:57.040 It could be rigged,

00:19:57.880 it could be all this.

00:19:58.760 Happy to go into that.

00:19:59.900 I do it

00:20:00.620 because I love God

00:20:02.480 and we're called by Jesus

00:20:04.100 to love him

00:20:05.540 in everything that we do

00:20:06.940 with our heart

00:20:07.900 and our soul

00:20:08.980 and our strength

00:20:10.000 and our mind

00:20:10.800 and God cares deeply

00:20:12.780 about the type of society

00:20:14.140 that we live in

00:20:15.020 and there's not God's heart anywhere

00:20:16.960 for us to live in tyranny.

00:20:18.120 Jeremiah 29.7

00:20:19.800 Demand the welfare

00:20:21.060 of the nation that you are in

00:20:22.220 because your welfare

00:20:23.100 is tied to your nation's welfare.

00:20:25.020 Psalm 97.10

00:20:26.100 But those of you

00:20:27.120 who love God,

00:20:28.460 hate evil,

00:20:29.700 we are called

00:20:30.580 to go into the public square

00:20:32.560 and to contest

00:20:33.840 for those who cannot

00:20:34.800 fight for themselves

00:20:35.900 to fight for liberty

00:20:37.380 and liberty is God's idea,

00:20:39.540 not man's idea

00:20:40.680 and what we are seeing culminate

00:20:43.560 I think is a crescendo

00:20:45.040 of a multi-decade spiritual battle

00:20:47.160 which is now currently

00:20:48.720 manifested in the political

00:20:50.000 and we do it

00:20:51.040 not because

00:20:51.900 you know,

00:20:52.560 we hope Trump is going to win

00:20:53.660 we do it

00:20:54.580 to honor a God

00:20:55.900 that loves us.

00:20:57.080 Why are so many young people 1.00

00:20:57.920 going back to church?

00:20:58.780 Let's talk about something promising.

00:20:59.860 It is happening.

00:21:00.560 It's happening in record numbers.

00:21:01.840 Because God is moving.

00:21:02.920 That's why.

00:21:03.960 I mean,

00:21:04.280 I would,

00:21:04.700 if you'd asked me that

00:21:05.760 three years ago

00:21:08.520 I would have said

00:21:10.180 it's because

00:21:11.020 the promise

00:21:12.040 of the modern West,

00:21:13.400 the post-war West,

00:21:14.460 God died

00:21:14.940 and we dropped the atom bomb

00:21:15.940 on Hiroshima obviously

00:21:17.180 because we assumed

00:21:18.580 God-like powers.

00:21:20.300 We have the power

00:21:21.180 of life and death

00:21:21.880 over the planet,

00:21:22.620 over humanity itself

00:21:23.640 and so that was literally

00:21:24.820 the moment when the West

00:21:25.560 stopped believing in God

00:21:26.420 and things began to fall apart.

00:21:28.000 Not defending Imperial Japan,

00:21:29.360 it's just a fact.

00:21:30.760 Rather,

00:21:31.060 that's my interpretation

00:21:31.660 of the facts.

00:21:32.080 But anyway,

00:21:33.000 this has been happening

00:21:34.320 for a long time

00:21:35.120 and the prizes

00:21:36.520 that we award

00:21:37.460 to the winners

00:21:38.200 in our society

00:21:39.020 are mostly not worth having.

00:21:40.320 It's just material wealth

00:21:41.180 which is not the source

00:21:41.960 of happiness

00:21:42.420 as anyone who's ever

00:21:43.940 gotten rich,

00:21:44.420 including me.

00:21:45.120 I've been rich and poor.

00:21:46.680 You know,

00:21:46.960 it's better than being in debt

00:21:48.060 which is bad

00:21:49.060 but it doesn't make you happy.

00:21:51.080 Of course not.

00:21:51.820 Not being in crisis

00:21:52.640 makes you happy.

00:21:53.260 Of course,

00:21:53.660 that's right.

00:21:54.020 Not being in debt,

00:21:54.900 not having a mortgage,

00:21:55.580 that's all good.

00:21:56.320 That's important.

00:21:56.860 But like,

00:21:57.120 how much French toast

00:21:57.840 can you eat?

00:21:58.620 Like,

00:21:59.220 seriously,

00:22:00.640 you know,

00:22:00.880 how many hours

00:22:01.460 can you sit in bed?

00:22:02.380 It's like not that exciting

00:22:03.340 actually.

00:22:04.000 So I would have told you

00:22:05.100 three years ago

00:22:05.660 if you said,

00:22:05.920 why are people returning

00:22:06.620 to church?

00:22:07.240 Why is Christianity resurgent? 0.99

00:22:08.460 I would say

00:22:09.320 because they found

00:22:11.200 Western materialism

00:22:12.620 fundamentally unsatisfying

00:22:13.860 and they're looking

00:22:14.300 for something more.

00:22:15.180 I'd no longer think that.

00:22:16.620 I think what you're seeing

00:22:17.540 is a supernatural phenomenon.

00:22:19.700 I think you're seeing

00:22:20.700 the Spirit of God

00:22:21.700 moving among people.

00:22:24.600 I can't believe

00:22:25.080 I'm saying this.

00:22:26.200 You're an Episcopalian?

00:22:27.240 I know I was.

00:22:27.700 What is wrong with you?

00:22:28.640 I left when it became Wiccan 1.00

00:22:30.120 but that's how I was raised.

00:22:31.940 You're talking like a Pentecostal.

00:22:32.880 No,

00:22:33.240 I don't know what I am

00:22:34.720 but I just,

00:22:35.240 I try to describe things

00:22:37.200 as honestly as I can.

00:22:38.600 Clearly we've seen

00:22:39.200 evil move among us.

00:22:41.020 Correct.

00:22:41.400 We see it all the time.

00:22:42.700 All the time.

00:22:43.740 It's not rational.

00:22:44.860 It's not political.

00:22:45.780 No one's getting rich from it.

00:22:46.960 The point is destruction.

00:22:48.420 That's the point.

00:22:49.180 Why would you give fentanyl

00:22:50.000 to addicts?

00:22:50.940 Why would you invite

00:22:52.000 500,000 Haitians here

00:22:53.200 with no job?

00:22:53.760 COVID shot.

00:22:54.220 The COVID shot.

00:22:55.020 It's only to destroy.

00:22:55.980 So we all know that.

00:22:57.520 That's evil.

00:22:58.160 That's what evil looks like.

00:23:00.020 But evil has a counterbalance

00:23:01.500 which is actually more powerful

00:23:02.800 and it's called good.

00:23:03.740 It's the Spirit of God.

00:23:05.660 And you are seeing that

00:23:06.940 and I am seeing it in,

00:23:08.440 I mean,

00:23:08.720 all the time

00:23:09.620 and it's what keeps me

00:23:10.400 from being despondent.

00:23:11.480 And I see it

00:23:12.080 as you see everything

00:23:12.840 through other people.

00:23:14.240 And I've lived in a secular world

00:23:15.720 my whole life

00:23:16.520 and certainly in the news business

00:23:18.280 for 35 years

00:23:19.120 I've only known secular people.

00:23:20.600 There are no religious people 1.00

00:23:21.400 in the news business.

00:23:22.200 None.

00:23:23.320 Maybe in the editing room

00:23:24.760 or something

00:23:25.160 but they don't talk.

00:23:26.280 And I now know people

00:23:28.700 personally really well

00:23:30.020 who are like,

00:23:30.620 yeah,

00:23:30.860 I was like praying the other day

00:23:32.400 or was reading the Bible

00:23:33.320 or I think I believe in Jesus.

00:23:35.560 What?

00:23:36.020 Use the J word? 0.51

00:23:37.740 And I'm seeing that everywhere.

00:23:40.580 And so that leads me to believe

00:23:42.500 this is not organic.

00:23:43.740 This is supernatural.

00:23:44.640 People don't say that.

00:23:47.280 They're not moved to that

00:23:48.520 except by God's power moving them.

00:23:51.240 You don't have eyes to see

00:23:53.420 or ears to hear

00:23:54.960 unless God gives them to you.

00:23:57.560 So I think that.

00:23:58.340 So how has God been at work

00:24:00.740 in your life?

00:24:03.300 I don't know.

00:24:04.040 I'm so focused

00:24:04.660 on my inherent shittiness

00:24:05.660 that it's sometimes hard to see it.

00:24:08.340 That's why you're a good Christian.

00:24:09.740 I don't know.

00:24:11.140 The first rule of Christianity

00:24:12.400 is understand you are

00:24:13.640 Well, I definitely marinated that. 0.95

00:24:15.700 Totally depraved.

00:24:17.040 I'm definitely aware of that.

00:24:19.000 Total depravity is the beginning.

00:24:21.140 You know you need Jesus

00:24:22.100 if you stay in total depravity.

00:24:23.440 Because I always tell

00:24:23.980 the kids who work for me

00:24:24.900 the one person I don't trust

00:24:25.940 is me

00:24:26.300 because I know him so well.

00:24:27.560 No, I think I'm just

00:24:31.520 so aware of it.

00:24:34.220 I mean, I think one of the ways

00:24:35.680 that people change

00:24:37.460 when they start thinking about God

00:24:38.680 is your timeline gets longer

00:24:40.240 and you realize

00:24:41.520 that this is just a snapshot

00:24:42.820 in eternity

00:24:43.760 and it's not the end

00:24:45.140 and it wasn't the beginning

00:24:46.260 when you were born.

00:24:47.280 Like, this is a lot bigger.

00:24:49.780 You start thinking about

00:24:50.740 what happens after you die.

00:24:52.340 It's not the end.

00:24:53.440 And you start seeing the world

00:24:54.700 in those terms.

00:24:55.640 Death is not the worst thing.

00:24:57.800 You know, you can live

00:24:58.880 in hell on earth 0.61

00:24:59.840 by being trapped by lies

00:25:01.980 and that's a choice

00:25:03.060 that all of us make every day.

00:25:04.360 Am I going to participate

00:25:05.140 in the lie or not?

00:25:06.840 And it's not that hard

00:25:07.720 to say, no, I'm not.

00:25:09.060 And it's incredibly,

00:25:10.580 I hate the word,

00:25:11.180 but it's true,

00:25:11.700 empowering

00:25:12.240 to decide

00:25:13.700 that to the extent

00:25:14.400 I remember

00:25:15.200 I'm not going to lie.

00:25:16.600 And we're also prone

00:25:18.320 to lying, me included.

00:25:19.540 Like, they just like,

00:25:20.040 come out, lies all the time.

00:25:21.280 I'm lying, we're lying.

00:25:22.540 You know, we're just like,

00:25:23.140 that way.

00:25:24.200 But if you try,

00:25:25.980 be like, no, no,

00:25:26.460 I'm going to tell the truth

00:25:27.160 in the small things

00:25:29.060 and the big things.

00:25:30.220 No, I think the fish

00:25:31.100 was only 13 inches.

00:25:32.100 It was not a 19-inch trout.

00:25:33.400 I'm just going to be honest.

00:25:34.100 I think it was 13 inches.

00:25:35.520 I'm a trout fisherman.

00:25:37.300 If you just get in the habit

00:25:38.720 of doing that,

00:25:40.300 you find yourself

00:25:41.380 filled with this crazy power

00:25:43.280 from outside you,

00:25:44.240 which is by definition

00:25:45.220 supernatural power,

00:25:47.200 and you become stronger.

00:25:48.500 The more you tell the truth,

00:25:49.500 the stronger you become.

00:25:50.520 I really believe

00:25:51.320 that I've experienced that.

00:25:52.580 The spoken truth.

00:25:53.780 The spoken truth.

00:25:54.600 That's the logos.

00:25:55.460 In the beginning was what?

00:25:56.540 The logos.

00:25:57.360 The word.

00:25:58.280 Which is the word logos.

00:25:59.460 Yeah.

00:25:59.780 Which is the spoken truth.

00:26:00.660 And the word was?

00:26:01.540 And the word was flesh.

00:26:03.180 Yeah.

00:26:03.400 And the word was God

00:26:04.520 and God became flesh, yeah.

00:26:05.760 Yeah.

00:26:06.260 Everything you're saying

00:26:06.840 is inherently spiritual.

00:26:08.040 You think there's a spiritual dynamic

00:26:09.480 to all of this.

00:26:10.580 And can you talk just briefly,

00:26:11.940 I know we're running out of time,

00:26:12.620 how your spiritual journey

00:26:14.420 has deepened

00:26:15.640 in the last couple of years.

00:26:17.640 I know you've been reading

00:26:18.340 the Bible even more

00:26:19.800 as an Episcopalian

00:26:21.180 that seems to be

00:26:22.580 quite an accomplishment.

00:26:23.780 Reading the Bible even more.

00:26:25.120 I didn't read the Bible

00:26:25.700 at all before, so.

00:26:26.340 I'm being generous.

00:26:28.760 Yeah, I mean,

00:26:29.740 I haven't had much

00:26:31.320 of a spiritual journey.

00:26:33.260 I'm such a flawed person

00:26:34.860 that I don't even want

00:26:35.940 to be associated

00:26:36.520 with Christianity

00:26:37.060 because I don't want

00:26:37.720 to discredit it.

00:26:38.780 But I mean that.

00:26:40.200 That means you're

00:26:40.760 a true Christian.

00:26:41.280 Oh, I don't know.

00:26:41.820 I don't want

00:26:42.820 to be called that.

00:26:44.140 But I'm very superstitious

00:26:45.920 on that point.

00:26:47.360 No, I'm a really flawed person,

00:26:49.620 obviously.

00:26:50.800 But, yeah, I mean,

00:26:52.440 there's, I think,

00:26:53.740 I will say this,

00:26:54.900 there is a Christian revival

00:26:57.240 underway in the United States,

00:26:58.360 a low-key Christian revival.

00:26:59.620 I see it all around me.

00:27:02.400 It's not the kind of tent revival

00:27:04.380 that you imagine

00:27:05.160 from, you know, 1923.

00:27:07.440 it's something else.

00:27:09.760 It's a different manifestation

00:27:11.040 of the same thing.

00:27:12.820 And I see it everywhere.

00:27:14.600 And by everywhere,

00:27:15.200 I mean in the conversations

00:27:16.340 that I have with people

00:27:17.040 I'm talking to,

00:27:17.840 where people who've lived

00:27:19.660 totally secular lives,

00:27:20.580 as I have,

00:27:21.280 I've lived a very secular life,

00:27:23.160 are all of a sudden

00:27:23.840 referring to God

00:27:24.960 or some power

00:27:27.740 beyond themselves

00:27:28.780 in a way that would have been

00:27:30.520 really striking

00:27:31.760 five years ago.

00:27:33.680 No one I knew.

00:27:34.700 I mean, you're from

00:27:35.140 a different world,

00:27:36.320 a world that's much more

00:27:37.180 in touch with the spiritual,

00:27:39.300 with the transcendent.

00:27:40.560 But I'm not.

00:27:41.340 I mean, I'm from a world

00:27:42.020 that's in touch with, like,

00:27:43.820 what is happening today.

00:27:45.560 That's it.

00:27:46.180 I've never heard people

00:27:47.160 talk like that, ever.

00:27:49.140 And now,

00:27:50.340 practically everyone I know

00:27:51.020 is talking like that.

00:27:52.080 What is that?

00:27:53.820 And that's a sign to me

00:27:56.100 that, yes,

00:27:58.720 the spiritual realm

00:28:00.180 is, like, obvious to people

00:28:01.780 who had never thought about it before.

00:28:02.800 What I'm seeing is that

00:28:03.880 people are asking the question,

00:28:05.920 why are they doing this?

00:28:07.060 And the spiritual

00:28:07.740 is the only explanation.

00:28:09.000 Of course.

00:28:09.500 Because it defies reason.

00:28:10.880 What did God say?

00:28:11.860 He said,

00:28:12.240 it's not good for man to be alone.

00:28:14.000 Exactly.

00:28:14.560 But he wasn't alone.

00:28:15.620 He had God.

00:28:17.540 What he was saying is that

00:28:18.480 it's not good for man

00:28:19.420 to be without a woman.

00:28:20.440 Of course.

00:28:21.180 So it's not enough for man

00:28:22.120 just to have God.

00:28:23.040 And some people don't like

00:28:23.980 this teaching, but it's true.

00:28:25.080 Adam had God.

00:28:25.820 He had a relationship with God.

00:28:27.260 Man,

00:28:27.920 if you look at almost

00:28:28.780 every third world country

00:28:29.980 where men don't feel

00:28:31.420 that they are able to have

00:28:32.500 economic prosperity

00:28:33.540 or any romantic future,

00:28:35.380 you get either revolution,

00:28:36.780 gang violence,

00:28:37.460 or complete disconnect.

00:28:39.400 Or suicide. 0.77

00:28:40.040 Or suicide,

00:28:40.540 which is what we have, right?

00:28:41.460 So it's the most suicidal

00:28:42.260 generation in history.

00:28:43.500 Now, I don't want to paint,

00:28:44.280 like, a totally negative picture

00:28:45.380 because there is one

00:28:47.320 really good trend,

00:28:48.260 and it's not because

00:28:49.300 of baby boomers,

00:28:50.080 and it's not because

00:28:50.800 of our leaders.

00:28:51.860 I guess that.

00:28:53.140 Well, no,

00:28:53.620 it's men,

00:28:54.060 young men are going back 1.00

00:28:55.080 to church.

00:28:55.640 That is legit.

00:28:56.300 That's happening

00:28:56.900 because, honestly,

00:28:58.080 it's the only thing

00:28:59.080 that they can find.

00:29:00.060 It's a life raft

00:29:01.720 in this just tsunami

00:29:03.340 of chaos and disorder.

00:29:05.600 So I get asked all the time,

00:29:06.540 well, why are they going

00:29:07.220 to the Catholic church?

00:29:08.060 Why are they going

00:29:08.500 to Orthodox church

00:29:09.240 more than the Evangelical church?

00:29:10.360 And I'm Evangelical.

00:29:11.360 I'll say, well, first of all,

00:29:12.400 they want something

00:29:12.940 that has lasted.

00:29:14.340 They want something

00:29:14.800 that is ancient

00:29:15.400 and that is beautiful.

00:29:16.680 Something that has stood

00:29:17.240 the test of time.

00:29:18.100 Something that's not going

00:29:18.540 to change.

00:29:19.380 Something that's all of a sudden

00:29:20.060 not going to all of a sudden

00:29:20.740 just flip around

00:29:22.180 and have some sort of

00:29:23.520 transgender story hour.

00:29:26.720 So that's a really positive trend

00:29:28.600 in the midst of all this.

00:29:30.340 So my great hope

00:29:31.400 is the spiritual hope

00:29:32.380 that the young men

00:29:33.820 that are lost

00:29:34.300 and if any young man

00:29:35.080 is listening to this right now,

00:29:36.540 like stop watching porn, 0.83

00:29:38.360 stop smoking weed,

00:29:39.820 stop drinking endlessly,

00:29:41.420 find yourself back to church.

00:29:42.860 That will reorient your life.

00:29:44.120 I agree.

00:29:44.500 And do what the church

00:29:45.280 tells you to do, right?

00:29:46.960 Find a woman, 0.97

00:29:48.260 marry her,

00:29:49.240 provide,

00:29:49.700 have more kids

00:29:50.240 than you can afford.

00:29:51.380 That's my advice

00:29:52.140 for young men.

00:29:52.900 Yes.

00:29:53.180 Don't play the victim.

00:29:54.020 Even though you legitimately

00:29:54.960 can play the victim card

00:29:56.040 on everything we've said,

00:29:57.180 the mindset of a victim

00:29:58.620 is parasitic to your soul.

00:30:00.140 Are you hopeful?

00:30:02.200 Of course I'm hopeful.

00:30:03.480 I'm hopeful in first,

00:30:05.000 of course,

00:30:05.280 in Jesus Christ

00:30:06.020 because for those

00:30:07.320 that know Christ,

00:30:08.440 we know how this story ends

00:30:09.660 and we know that

00:30:11.040 there's a creator

00:30:12.180 and there's a divine perfecter

00:30:13.540 to all of this.

00:30:14.720 Everybody,

00:30:15.500 it's more than just

00:30:17.180 getting a reverse mortgage

00:30:18.420 on your home.

00:30:19.460 It's more than buying

00:30:20.580 relief factor.

00:30:21.760 It's about getting

00:30:22.620 into the arena

00:30:23.420 and what does that mean?

00:30:24.960 It means if you are actively

00:30:26.500 not being criticized,

00:30:28.520 canceled,

00:30:29.460 smeared,

00:30:30.200 or slandered,

00:30:31.260 you are a spectator,

00:30:32.420 not a participant.

00:30:33.560 We will save this country

00:30:34.920 when all of us

00:30:36.080 are participants

00:30:36.960 in this fight.

00:30:38.680 That means

00:30:39.580 that you guys

00:30:40.640 can sign up

00:30:41.440 and take vacation time

00:30:43.640 and come to Arizona

00:30:44.520 to go chase ballots

00:30:45.800 for Donald Trump.

00:30:46.640 We will put you to work.

00:30:47.560 This means you guys

00:30:48.620 can write letters

00:30:49.340 to swing voters

00:30:50.040 in key states

00:30:50.860 pleading for them

00:30:51.880 to make the right decision.

00:30:53.180 This means educating your kids,

00:30:54.940 homeschooling your kids,

00:30:55.880 and taking them

00:30:56.400 out of government schools.

00:30:57.540 This means

00:30:58.360 that you're going to feed

00:30:59.960 your kids and grandkids

00:31:00.960 healthy food

00:31:01.780 and not that highly 0.54

00:31:02.860 processed garbage

00:31:04.040 that is currently 0.99

00:31:05.120 being put down

00:31:06.060 by the big ag companies.

00:31:07.760 This means you're going to learn

00:31:08.840 every single week

00:31:09.700 and prioritize it.

00:31:10.940 This means you are going

00:31:11.760 to be an active citizen

00:31:12.720 and as we said it earlier,

00:31:14.340 an active,

00:31:15.060 informed,

00:31:15.480 thoughtful,

00:31:16.240 deep,

00:31:16.520 and faithful citizen

00:31:17.440 is the greatest threat

00:31:19.340 to a tyrannical regime

00:31:20.620 and in that,

00:31:21.580 Tucker,

00:31:21.820 I have hope.

00:31:22.960 Amen!

00:31:24.440 Charlie Kirk,

00:31:25.360 ladies and gentlemen,

00:31:26.180 thank you.

00:31:26.720 Thank you.
