Triggered - Donald Trump Jr - Charlie's Vision. Our Future. | TRIGGERED Ep274

00:06:24.000 Hey guys, welcome to another episode of Triggered.

00:06:28.000 It's obviously uh been a difficult few days uh for so many of us.

00:06:33.000 Uh I'm on the road, uh, but wanted to make sure that I was here to give you guys a few updates uh and cover some of the latest news uh and play you some of the best and most profound uh remarks that we've all seen on uh our friend Charlie Kirk's legacy.

00:06:53.000 And guys, in times of tragedy when confronting evil, your voice matters now more than ever.

00:07:02.000 You know, I like I said, I I'm on the road, so I'd normally have some things uh in the bag if I just can't go live.

00:07:08.000 I'm trying to do this from an iPad uh quickly, but I think it's important to stay active, uh, make sure that people, you know, see what's really going on.

00:07:18.000 Uh you know, question some of the things that are out there and you know, not necessarily buy into everything else that's out there because you know, if you go down the rabbit hole, I mean there's some some stuff out there that's wild, and uh, you know, I get why a lot of people buy a lot of that because uh we've certainly seen enough insanity over the last few years to question pretty much everything, but want to try to do it as best we can and be accurate.

00:07:42.000 So across the country, uh we've seen some incredible patriotic Americans come together.

00:07:48.000 And we're also building a movement that's gonna be stronger than ever before.

00:07:53.000 And again, that's what I said the other day.

00:07:55.000 I mean, I think that's the best way to honor Charlie Charlie's legacy.

00:08:00.000 Uh is to keep going strong, get people involved.

00:08:03.000 You see the activity on social, and you see his accounts, uh, you see the thousands of new turning point chapters.

00:08:11.000 I mean uh I really hope uh to unleash something that you know Charlie could have only dreamed of um before.

00:08:22.000 I think he'd be honored to have that uh happen under these terribly tragic circumstances.

00:08:28.000 So as I wrote earlier, uh, did anyone else notice that when one of our heroes was assassinated in cold blood?

00:08:37.000 Not a single store in America had to board up their windows.

00:08:43.000 Cars weren't lit on fire.

00:08:45.000 No one broke into Gucci to steal shoes in the name of social justice.

00:08:51.000 Doesn't that tell us everything that we need to know about where the violence in America is actually coming from?

00:09:00.000 Uh you know, I'm so sick and tired of hearing about, oh, you know, both sides are doing that.

00:09:05.000 Both sides aren't doing anything.

00:09:07.000 One side is doing the violence.

00:09:10.000 One side is doing it.

00:09:11.000 Okay.

00:09:12.000 It's not both sides. 0.99

00:09:13.000 I don't care what woke morons on CNN and MSMBC and stuff like that that they say. 0.99

00:09:18.000 Like, it's not both sides. 0.99

00:09:20.000 Give me a break.

00:09:21.000 It's one side.

00:09:23.000 The left doesn't want a conversation.

00:09:26.000 They don't want to do that.

00:09:28.000 They've shown that.

00:09:29.000 They want to shut down conversations.

00:09:32.000 And they want to do it using violence.

00:09:35.000 Okay.

00:09:36.000 Again, that's been made clear, not only with what they did to Charlie, but the way they're celebrating his murder.

00:09:44.000 I mean, he was some of the most reasonable of anyone.

00:09:47.000 I mean, if not maybe the most reasonable person I know.

00:09:50.000 That's what he tried to do each and every day.

00:09:52.000 He tried to have conversations with people.

00:09:55.000 He opened up his incredibly large platform to thousands of people who literally disagreed with probably everything that he said. 0.73

00:10:02.000 And again, they had to kill him for it.

00:10:05.000 So, like many of you, I'm more motivated now than ever before to keep getting our message out, to not be in hiding, to not be silenced.

00:10:18.000 So again, guys, you know, like, share, subscribe.

00:10:22.000 It's all of you who make this show and more importantly, this messaging possible.

00:10:29.000 Uh along with so many other great people out there doing the same.

00:10:33.000 And uh it's really also our great sponsors who are willing to support this program and stand with us amid the left's non-stop partisans and attacks, guys, right?

00:10:44.000 It's not just cancellation anymore.

00:10:46.000 Uh it's gone so far beyond that.

00:10:49.000 So support others doing the same thing, people who aren't afraid to speak, even the inconvenient truths to get it out there.

00:10:58.000 The next generation is dependent on us doing this each and every day.

00:11:03.000 And that includes a new sponsor, anyone IO.

00:12:57.000 Check it out, guys.

00:13:00.000 So to start, guys, I just want to make sure you guys see some of this.

00:13:04.000 I want to play some of the remarks from my good friend from Charlie's great friend, Vice President JD Vance from earlier today, uh, as he was actually hosting Charlie's radio and rumble show.

00:13:18.000 So Charlie was the one uh who really put JD on our radar.

00:13:24.000 Uh he was one of the, you know, one of two guys really talking to me like in 2021 uh early to be like, hey man, you really got to meet this guy.

00:13:33.000 You'll love him, maybe even end of 2020.

00:13:36.000 Uh And we did, and we became great friends, and JD, Charlie and I have spoken so many times and numerous threads and all these kinds of things.

00:13:45.000 He he really nailed it also.

00:13:47.000 Uh and is really one of the key reasons.

00:13:50.000 Uh Charlie's really one of the key reasons Jade B uh ended up being vice president.

00:13:55.000 I know you know Charlie, me, a couple other handful of guys really making sure, you know, we didn't just have the billionaires putting in their, you know, their puppet VPs and whatever it may have been.

00:14:05.000 And there was a lot of people lobbying for a lot of people.

00:14:08.000 I'm sure a lot of you guys wouldn't have liked.

00:14:10.000 Uh I think JD's absolutely been a rock star.

00:14:12.000 He was in the Senate.

00:14:14.000 Uh, really because of Charlie.

00:14:15.000 And uh, you know, I introduced him when he was like running number four or five in a you know Republican uh GOP primary.

00:14:23.000 So we saw the talent, we recognized it.

00:14:25.000 Charlie saw that.

00:14:26.000 Uh we went all in to make sure we could get him in the Senate.

00:14:29.000 He was a rock star there.

00:14:30.000 And then the VP.

00:14:32.000 Uh so here's JD earlier today.

00:14:35.000 I think it's an important thing to watch.

00:14:39.000 Hey everybody, JD Vance here, live from my office in the White House complex and filling in for somebody who cannot be filled in for, but I'm gonna try to do my best.

00:14:48.000 My dear friend, the great Charlie Kirk.

00:14:51.000 The last several days have been extremely hard for our country.

00:14:55.000 They've been hard for me, hard for my family, hard for the countless people in this building who knew and loved Charlie Kirk, and of course, they've been hardest most of all for his darling wife Erica and their two beautiful children.

00:15:10.000 The thing is, every single person in this building, we owe something to Charlie.

00:15:16.000 He was a joyful warrior for our country.

00:15:19.000 He loved America.

00:15:20.000 He devoted himself tirelessly to making our country a better place.

00:15:25.000 He was a critical part of getting Donald Trump elected as president, getting me elected as vice president.

00:15:31.000 And so much of our success over the last seven months is due to his efforts, his staffing, his support, and his friendship.

00:15:39.000 I don't think that I'm alone in saying that Charlie was the smartest political operative I ever met.

00:15:45.000 Everyone knew him as this fearless debater, this guy who would take the conservative message into hostile places and inspire younger generations to have courage.

00:15:55.000 One thing that's hit a lot of those young Americans over the last week was how Charlie was there for them when others were not.

00:16:02.000 When they were afraid to speak their minds, when they were afraid of what a professor would say when they were afraid that they would be shouted down by their peers.

00:16:10.000 Charlie was there, showing them that they could be courageous and that they could be bold.

00:16:16.000 Charlie was a visionary.

00:16:20.000 He brought together people, he didn't just teach people how to speak, he didn't just teach people what to say.

00:16:26.000 He didn't just teach people they could actually speak their mind on campus.

00:16:29.000 They create he created a whole social network for an entire generation of young people.

00:16:35.000 I know people who met their husband, who met their wife, who met the best men at their wedding at a TPUSA event.

00:16:42.000 Because as you guys all know, it's not just about speaking our mind, it's about making friends along the way and creating that support network that won an election and that staffed the current federal government.

00:16:55.000 I owe so much to Charlie.

00:16:57.000 I I've had friends reach out in just the last couple of days who sent me messages, screenshots that they exchanged with Charlie in the run-up to me getting selected by the president as his vice presidential running mate.

00:17:13.000 And it's such an honor to have people show me that Charlie said we want JD to be the VP nominee.

00:17:20.000 And I just had a conversation with the president, and I think things are actually going well.

00:17:24.000 I think he's actually gonna choose JD Vance.

00:17:27.000 Do you know what it means to me that such a good guy, such a good friend, such a lion and visionary of our movement was advocating for me.

00:17:36.000 So I wanted to use this show today to advocate for Charlie to talk about him, to talk about what kind of a guy he was, talk about what kind of a man he was, what kind of a husband and father he was, and to take people, most of them from inside the administration, but some of them from without, who knew Charlie best and to talk about what he meant, what he meant to them, what he meant to this administration, and what he meant to the conservative movement.

00:18:00.000 I was very honored a couple of days ago on September the 11th, 2025, to fly out to Utah where Charlie was shot and killed to meet his wife, to meet his mom and his dad, his sister, all all just incredible people who didn't deserve to have this happen to them.

00:18:19.000 And I was also honored to be able to take Charlie's remains from Utah to Arizona.

00:18:24.000 It was an amazing, amazing thing.

00:18:26.000 It was heartbreaking and it was sad and it was terrible.

00:18:29.000 But what an honor it was for me and my family to be welcomed in to the Kirk Inner Circle at their moment.

00:18:37.000 We're now in a monumental moment, guys, uh, for our movement.

00:18:41.000 Uh we're in a new chapter, and it's a chapter where the left's violence is being exposed, and our resilience will be tested.

00:18:51.000 Uh earlier, the White House chief of staff, Susie Wiles also joined JD and said that Charlie and Turning Point delivered a hundred and ten percent in re-electing the president, my father.

00:19:06.000 Uh, and that does, no one's gonna fact check that as anything other than 11% true.

00:19:12.000 Uh watch what Susie had to say, because she's been another, you know, just a great rock star out there.

00:19:18.000 Maybe talk in those days of the campaign, what an important part Charlie was of our efforts and our ultimately successful efforts to install the boss in the Oval Office.

00:19:29.000 Thank you, Mr. Vice President, and thank you for doing this.

00:19:31.000 Of course.

00:19:32.000 I have a Charlie story that maybe hasn't been told, at least not enough.

00:19:37.000 In the 2024 campaign, the law changed, election law changed, and campaigns were finally allowed to coordinate with outside organizations.

00:19:46.000 One of the biggest expenses in the campaign is canvassing.

00:19:49.000 The door-to-door activity that it particularly in a Donald Trump campaign is critically important.

00:19:54.000 And so we were we were liberated, we had license to coordinate with everybody, and everybody came to the table, and everybody was going to canvas at this level with this sort of fidelity to our plan.

00:20:08.000 And included Charlie.

00:20:09.000 And at the end of this whole odyssey, the person that really did everything they said they were going to do, and more was turning point.

00:20:19.000 He had an army of good people who were motivated and passionate, and they they delivered 110%.

00:20:27.000 And I don't know that Charlie gets enough credit for that.

00:20:30.000 That was a tactical assist to the campaign.

00:20:33.000 We didn't have to pay for it.

00:20:35.000 We didn't have to think about it.

00:20:36.000 We didn't have to follow up after him.

00:20:39.000 It was an immeasurable help.

00:20:42.000 And most of those canvassers were some of the same young people that voted for the president and convinced their families.

00:20:49.000 So in many ways, it was really a pivotal effort.

00:20:54.000 And this is really uh a call for action, guys.

00:20:57.000 A call for doing what's right in the moments that matter most.

00:21:02.000 As Stephen Miller put it, with God as our witness, we are going to use every resource we have at the DOJ, at Homeland Security, and throughout this government to identify, disrupt, dismantle, and destroy these networks.

00:21:21.000 Okay, these aren't just left-wing networks anymore.

00:21:24.000 These are now terrorist networks, as far as I'm concerned.

00:21:27.000 Okay.

00:21:28.000 Take a look at Stephen Miller earlier today.

00:21:31.000 Walk me through at a high level like what you and I have been working on, what the whole administration has been working on to try to make sure that we don't reward and promote this craziness.

00:21:42.000 So it's an excellent question.

00:21:43.000 I said this before, and um, but it bears repeating.

00:21:47.000 The last message that Charlie sent me was um I think it was just the day before we lost him, which was that we need to have an organized strategy to go after the left-wing organizations that are promoting violence in this country.

00:22:00.000 And I will write those words onto my heart and I will carry them out.

00:22:05.000 The people ask me, you know, what emotions I'm feeling right now, and this is something people say.

00:22:09.000 I mean, you kind of know the answer.

00:22:10.000 There's incredible sadness, but there's incredible anger.

00:22:14.000 And the thing about anger is that unfocused anger or blind rage is not a productive emotion.

00:22:20.000 Right.

00:22:21.000 But focused anger, righteous anger, directed for a just cause is one of the most important agents of change in human history.

00:22:30.000 Amen.

00:22:30.000 And we are going to channel all of the anger that we have over the organized campaign that led to this assassination to uproot and dismantle these terrorist networks.

00:22:42.000 So let me explain a little bit what that means.

00:22:43.000 So 30 seconds.

00:22:45.000 It'd be quick, Steven.

00:22:47.000 The organized doxing campaigns, the organized riots, the organized street violence, the organized campaigns of dehumanization, vilification, posting people's addresses, combining that with messaging that's designed to trigger and cite violence and the actual organized selves that carry out and facilitate the violence.

00:23:04.000 It is a vast domestic terror movement.

00:23:06.000 With the God is my witness, we are going to use every resource we have at the Department of Justice, Homeland Security, and throughout this government to identify, disrupt, dismantle, and destroy these networks and make America safe again for the American people.

00:23:18.000 It will happen, and we will do it in Charlie's name.

00:23:22.000 We're seeing so many patriotic Americans really stepping up across the country to carry on Charlie's legacy and find ways to get themselves involved.

00:23:32.000 Here was the scene in New York City over the weekend during a remembrance ceremony for Charlie.

00:23:39.000 I mean, this is New York City.

00:23:40.000 Okay, this is not exactly a bastion of conservative thoughts and principles, and yet people are starting to get it.

00:23:48.000 It's a turning point in our country.

00:23:51.000 And if we stay involved and we stay engaged, it's going to make a huge difference for the future and for the safety of our children.

00:23:59.000 Hear the sounds that say now rest like me.

00:24:11.000 I once was lost, but now am found.

00:24:21.000 What a slight, but now I see.

00:24:28.000 you Thank you.

00:24:31.000 Now, all of this is going to require a lot of hard and difficult truth about the evil we are actually facing.

00:24:39.000 For example, the FBI is now investigating left-wing groups in and around Salt Lake City, like the group Armed Queers, which suspiciously deleted their Instagram right after the assassination.

00:24:54.000 I wonder why that could be.

00:24:58.000 Now, according to new reporting, this group says its mission is to train gay, queer, and trans people to arm themselves and fight against capitalism.

00:25:08.000 Okay.

00:25:09.000 Not defend their rights, their existence, the fight against capitalism.

00:25:14.000 I wonder what the queer, gay, whatever movement, the L B G T Q IA plus plus plus plus plus. 1.00

00:25:21.000 What's the deal?

00:25:22.000 Why would they fight capitalism?

00:25:23.000 What does that have to do with it?

00:25:25.000 But that's not all though.

00:25:27.000 This group is a self-described armed revolutionary group openly aligned with Cuba.

00:25:33.000 Hmm.

00:25:34.000 I wonder, I wonder how well they'd do over there going against the regime in place over there.

00:25:40.000 Its members traveled to Cuba as recently as this spring, and they express open support for communist regimes in Latin America.

00:25:50.000 I wonder how well.

00:25:51.000 I mean, this sort of sounds like one of those, you know, gaze for Palestine. 0.51

00:25:54.000 I'm like, listen, you know, maybe uh I get it, but like I don't know.

00:25:59.000 Doesn't seem like it would work out all that well for you there.

00:26:01.000 This seems like one of those.

00:26:02.000 But again, I guess the only thing that the radical fringe L B G T, it's mostly the TQ plus plus plus part, uh, that has in common with either communism or radical Islam, is they believe or want the destruction of Western civilization. 0.99

00:26:19.000 I guess that's what they have in common.

00:26:20.000 And once they achieve that goal, I imagine they go head to head, and it probably doesn't work out all that well for the LGBTQ plus plus plus plus. 1.00

00:26:29.000 And in one now deleted video, one member claimed that, quote, we definitely felt the pressure to bring the revolution back to America.

00:26:39.000 These freaks are openly saying this out loud, guys.

00:26:42.000 They're not even pretending anymore.

00:26:44.000 This is what they're doing.

00:26:45.000 They're telling us who they are.

00:26:47.000 This is happening in Salt Lake City, Utah, of all places.

00:26:50.000 You know, again, that's a pretty conservative part of the world.

00:26:53.000 It doesn't matter.

00:26:54.000 They're everywhere.

00:26:55.000 They're entrenched.

00:26:57.000 Now there's an ongoing investigation into whether this Group or other aligned groups had any prior knowledge of the assassination plot.

00:27:05.000 Okay, we've heard the stories about this guy perhaps living, you know, that the left was celebrating.

00:27:10.000 He's not trans. 1.00

00:27:11.000 Yay! 0.99

00:27:11.000 Oh, he lives with someone who may be trans. 0.99

00:27:13.000 I mean, allegedly, uh, that's at least what I've been reading.

00:27:16.000 Uh it it never ends.

00:27:19.000 There's been at least five social media accounts identified that appear to have knowledge of the assassination plot, and authorities are now looking at who may have provided material support.

00:27:32.000 Um, considered perhaps new or trained with the 22-year-old who's been charged in the murder.

00:27:43.000 Guys, what what is clear is that there's a massive hotbed of extremism right in the center of Salt Lake City, and it's an alliance of trans groups, communist groups, and groups that fundamentally again hate America and probably hate Western civilization and culture.

00:28:01.000 Authorities also said over the weekend that the killer was living with a trans partner, and that person is now apparently providing more information on the communications and actions leading up to the assassination.

00:28:14.000 And the facts show that this act of evil was clearly and very obviously fueled by a poisonous left-wing worldview.

00:28:27.000 Here's FBI Director Cash Patel with the latest.

00:28:30.000 His family has collectively told investigators that he subscribed to left-wing ideology and even more so in these last couple of years.

00:28:42.000 And he uh had a text message exchange, he, the suspect with another individual, in which he claimed that he had an opportunity to take out Charlie Kirk and he was going to do it because of his hatred for what Charlie stood for.

00:28:56.000 That are those are factually accurate um investigatory findings by the FBI that we've handed over to the local authorities and the federal authorities to make their prosecutorial decisions.

00:29:06.000 But I believe in this instance of such public importance, the public has a right to know.

00:29:10.000 And I've told you I'm committed to transparency, and that's what I'm doing here.

00:29:14.000 Why didn't that person that he was talking to?

00:29:16.000 Why didn't that person say something?

00:29:19.000 And sadly, but predictably, a lot of this hate is coming from the media. 0.54

00:29:26.000 You can't call someone you disagree with or simply can't win an argument with a Nazi, a fascist, a dictator, the greatest threat to democracy in the history of the civilized world, like you know, all the nonsense, right? 0.95

00:29:42.000 And then pretend that you had nothing to do with it when a psycho takes up arms and kills someone.

00:29:50.000 You cannot absolve yourself from years of fomenting hate, calling everyone ever that disagrees with you every name in the book.

00:29:59.000 It was happening this week.

00:30:00.000 It wasn't a bunch of radicals, you saw big tech people celebrating online openly, the murder of a 31-year-old father of two, a great husband, a great Christian, a great man with a following.

00:30:16.000 They're just celebrating.

00:30:17.000 They're not they don't even pretend.

00:30:19.000 Here's how Fox's Will Cain summed it up earlier, and I think it's a good take.

00:30:24.000 I'm sure there are normal, thoughtful people on the left, Bill.

00:30:29.000 I'm sure that they are.

00:30:30.000 But at this point, it appears that they are outnumbered.

00:30:34.000 And they are not who is defining the modern movement of the left. 0.98

00:30:38.000 You can't spend a decade calling your opponents Hitler, fascist, bigots, racists, misogynists, and homophobes, trans folks.

00:30:47.000 You can't spend a decade telling everyone that your opponent is an existential threat to you and think that that won't have some repercussion. 0.92

00:30:55.000 There must, there must be some self-policing that starts now on the case.

00:31:02.000 But guys, the regime media doesn't want to admit what they have been fueling non-stop for basically a decade now.

00:31:13.000 Okay, probably started under Obama, definitely gonna worse under my father's first term, right?

00:31:19.000 But we have seen where this is all leading.

00:31:25.000 Okay?

00:31:25.000 We've seen it.

00:31:26.000 Now we've witnessed it.

00:31:27.000 The attempts on my father's life, multiple.

00:31:30.000 Charlie, so many others, watching young innocent women get stabbed by 14-time repeat offenders on a train minding their own business because, you know.

00:31:41.000 The woke talking point say we must let him go, and maybe we give them another chance and another chance and another chance and another chance and another chance. 0.66

00:31:50.000 The chances seem never ending.

00:31:51.000 When do we say enough is enough?

00:31:54.000 When do we actually do something about this problem?

00:31:57.000 We clearly have a trans terrorism problem in this country, okay? 0.96

00:32:02.000 Look at all the school shootings.

00:32:04.000 Okay, these aren't people defending themselves. 0.99

00:32:07.000 They're going out and killing Christian children. 0.99

00:32:09.000 Okay. 1.00

00:32:10.000 You can't talk about them, God forbid.

00:32:12.000 They're beyond reproach.

00:32:13.000 You know, you're trans.

00:32:14.000 Oh my god, we can't release the manifesto.

00:32:16.000 We can't.

00:32:17.000 We wonder what it is.

00:32:19.000 That no one ever.

00:32:20.000 But those are the talking points that they run with each and every time.

00:32:24.000 I mean, think about it.

00:32:25.000 Per capita, the amount of trans committed murders or attempted murders or terrorism that we've seen on a per capita basis.

00:32:34.000 Like, how big is the trans community really?

00:32:36.000 What?

00:32:37.000 1% of the population, like at best.

00:32:41.000 And you think of all of those shootings?

00:32:43.000 I mean, per capita, they seem far more radical than the Taliban or Al Qaeda.

00:32:47.000 I mean, think about how insane it is.

00:32:50.000 We have a Marxist communist problem in this country as well.

00:32:55.000 And sadly, it's now become a matter of life or death. 0.81

00:33:02.000 Because they've shown they're willing to kill us.

00:33:06.000 And they seem to want to do it as often as possible.

00:33:11.000 Just last night, the FBI arrested two men outside of Salt Lake City after a bomb, after a bomb was found underneath the Fox 13 news vehicle in Salt Lake City.

00:33:24.000 Fox News 13, by the way, that's not even Fox News.

00:33:27.000 That's like the local TV channel, right?

00:33:28.000 It's a Fox affiliate.

00:33:29.000 It has nothing to do with Fox News, but I mean honestly, that's probably not even like right-leaning.

00:33:36.000 It's probably like left-leaning, but probably not far enough left for them.

00:33:40.000 The suspects, Adi Ibn Nasir, and Adil Ahmed Nasir are now facing multiple charges, including the threat of terrorism, possessing weapons of mass destruction, and possessing explosive devices.

00:33:56.000 Guys, we are not dealing with one insane individual.

00:34:01.000 We are not dealing with just a lone wolf.

00:34:04.000 There's growing evidence of left-wing syndicates operating, not just in Utah, but all across the country.

00:34:12.000 And it's why we need bold and deliberate investigations into the entire apparatus to figure out who is funding all of this.

00:34:21.000 It's not happening on its own.

00:34:24.000 Right?

00:34:24.000 Like the guy that tried to kill the first time.

00:34:27.000 Oh, a radicalized 20-year-old with absolutely no social media presence, no online footprint.

00:34:34.000 It's like, well, but how do you get radicalized?

00:34:36.000 Now, by the way, probably got radicalized in our schools.

00:34:40.000 Right?

00:34:40.000 You see some of the pictures of this killer, this murderous thug, looked like a perfectly normal high school kid.

00:34:47.000 Right?

00:34:47.000 You see the videos of him talking with his parents.

00:34:49.000 It's like, wow, what happened?

00:34:50.000 He went to college, is what happened.

00:34:52.000 Okay, it seems like that's where it all started.

00:34:56.000 It's why the work Charlie did was so historic.

00:35:01.000 He took on this fight, and we can never surrender.

00:35:07.000 Let's take a look at this video that the White House put out today in remembrance of Charlie.

00:35:12.000 It's really important to watch.

00:35:15.000 It matters.

00:35:17.000 We have to not only remember him, but we have to follow through on the legacy that he was building, not for himself, but for our children.

00:35:26.000 And it's really important.

00:35:28.000 Only in America is it possible to say, you know what?

00:35:31.000 I don't like the way the country is going.

00:35:33.000 And to do something about it.

00:35:37.000 Take that leap of faith.

00:35:39.000 Stay involved.

00:35:40.000 Trust God and act obediently.

00:35:43.000 Romans 12, 2 verse.

00:35:45.000 That God will use all things, all things for good for those who love him.

00:35:51.000 It's bigger than you.

00:35:53.000 I want you to remember.

00:35:54.000 It is bigger than you.

00:35:56.000 It's bigger than me.

00:35:57.000 You are here to make somebody else's life better, liberty and freedom.

00:36:02.000 You know what gives me strength?

00:36:05.000 Hundreds of thousands of you that say, Charlie, keep going.

00:36:10.000 First Corinthians 5 and 15.

00:36:12.000 So that's all pretty amazing evidence.

00:36:14.000 Not just intra-biblical evidence, but extra-biblical evidence that Jesus Christ was a real person.

00:36:19.000 He lived a perfect life.

00:36:21.000 He was crucified, died, and rose on the third day, and he is Lord and God of all.

00:36:25.000 He was crucified, died, and rose on the third day.

00:36:35.000 As the turning point team said, Charlie Kirk poured his life into building a movement rooted in faith, freedom, love of country, polite conversation and discord.

00:36:51.000 He believed America's future depended on raising up a generation who would never surrender.

00:36:59.000 That vision, that incredible vision, guys, is a lie, and it's stronger than ever before.

00:37:06.000 But we can't let it be a fad. 0.94

00:37:08.000 We can't let it fade out.

00:37:09.000 We can't let it get washed away in the next news cycle, which I promise you the media is going to try to do.

00:37:16.000 Prayers are rising.

00:37:18.000 Support is pouring in.

00:37:20.000 Millions of students are rallying.

00:37:24.000 Volunteers are flooding in.

00:37:26.000 And vigils are filling churches and schools across the nation.

00:37:32.000 The fire Charlie lit is burning.

00:37:36.000 Bigger and brighter than ever before.

00:37:41.000 Now, the responsibility is ours.

00:37:45.000 We will honor his legacy by pressing forward.

00:37:49.000 We will make Charlie proud.

00:37:52.000 We will defend America's future.

00:37:54.000 And we will not stop until freedom prevails.

00:38:00.000 Guys, I want to close out by playing a bit more of JD's remarks from earlier because they are just very powerful and very much worth listening to.

00:38:13.000 So thank you all so much for your prayers, for your support, for all those who've reached out to me on various social platforms or commenting in there.

00:38:24.000 Like it's so good to see people engaged.

00:38:27.000 Uh, you know, I'm watching even Charlie's social accounts.

00:38:30.000 Follower counts are going up by the millions because people just now want to learn.

00:38:35.000 So if we can take this terrible tragedy and turn it into a promising future for so many and follow through on Charlie's work, it's so critical.

00:38:46.000 It's all of us together who will determine the destiny of this movement.

00:38:51.000 And it is the time to fight harder, grow faster, and unleash the true power of the grassroots machine that Charlie created.

00:39:03.000 God bless, and take to heart these powerful words from our great friend, JD Vance.

00:39:10.000 Watch it, learn it.

00:39:12.000 Please share it with everyone.

00:39:14.000 Send it to your friends, send it to your kids.

00:39:17.000 Have your kids send it to their friends.

00:39:20.000 Make sure to understand what's going on.

00:39:23.000 Stay in the game.

00:39:25.000 Stay engaged.

00:39:27.000 Check this out from Vice President JD Vance.

00:39:31.000 Shortly after Usha and I left Charlie's family and Charlie's remains in Arizona, I read a story in the Nation magazine about my dear friend Charlie Kirk.

00:39:43.000 Now, Now, The Nation isn't a fringe blog.

00:39:46.000 It's a well-funded, well-respected magazine whose publishing history goes back to the American Civil War.

00:39:53.000 George Soros' Open Society Foundation funds this magazine, as does the Ford Foundation and many other wealthy titans of the American Progressive Movement. 0.97

00:40:04.000 The writer accuses Charlie of saying, and I quote, Black women do not have brain processing power to be taken seriously. 0.86

00:40:14.000 But if you go and watch the clip, the very clip she links to, you realize he never said anything like that. 0.97

00:40:21.000 He never uttered those words.

00:40:23.000 He made an argument against affirmative action as a policy.

00:40:27.000 He criticized a specific Supreme Court Justice as an individual.

00:40:32.000 He never said anything about black women as a group.

00:40:35.000 He made an argument for judging people of all races and backgrounds by their own individual merits.

00:40:42.000 The very evidence she provides, this hack of a writer shows that she lied about a dead man, and yet she wrote it, an esteemed magazine published it, it made it through the editors, and of course, liberal billionaires rewarded that attack.

00:41:01.000 Now, of course, even if Charlie had uttered those words, it wouldn't mean that he deserved his fate, but consider the level of propaganda at work.

00:41:10.000 Charlie was gunned down in broad daylight, and well funded institutions of the left lied about what he said so as to justify his murder.

00:41:22.000 This is soulless and evil.

00:41:25.000 But I was struck not just by the dishonesty of this smear, but by the glee over a young husband's and young father's death. 0.99

00:41:34.000 Quote, she says, he was an unrepentant racist, transphobe, homophobe, and misogynist.

00:41:43.000 The nation wrote, who often rapped his bigotry in Bible verses because there was no other way to pretend that it was morally correct. 0.97

00:41:52.000 He had children, as do many vile people.

00:41:56.000 That's what they said he had children, as do many vile people.

00:42:01.000 Now hours before this smear was published, my wife and I had the honor of escorting Charlie's body back to his home in Arizona.

00:42:10.000 We took his wife, Erica We Love You, his parents, his sister, and a few of his best friends with us.

00:42:18.000 And as they offloaded Charlie's casket from Air Force II, I worried that Erica would collapse with grief.

00:42:26.000 Now I am a very lucky husband to a very wonderful wife, but I have never been prouder of my wife than that moment as she held Erica and Erica's very darkest hour.

00:42:37.000 And I thought of Erica as I read that disgusting attack on Charlie he had children, as do many vile people.

00:42:46.000 That's what they said about him.

00:42:48.000 I said the Lord's prayer, our Father who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name, thy kingdom come, thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven.

00:43:00.000 And I asked Ducia what Erica had said to her earlier in the day in a private moment, and I asked Erica's permission to share this.

00:43:09.000 My wife told me she asked me for advice.

00:43:16.000 Erica asked me for advice on how she should tell her children that their father had been murdered.

00:43:23.000 She asked my wife how to tell her beautiful kids that their father and my dear very dear friend is no longer with us.

00:43:33.000 And as she was doing it, there were people dancing on that father's grave.

00:43:40.000 Now I have heard many calls in the last few days for unity and for healing in the wake of Charlie's assassination.

00:43:48.000 You have no idea how desperately I want that, how gratified I was when Democratic friends and even former Senate colleagues reached out to offer their condolences to me.

00:44:00.000 I'm so thankful, and I know there are so many like them all across our great country.

00:44:06.000 I am desperate to wrap my arms around them as we all unite to condemn political violence and the ideas that cause it.

00:44:14.000 Psalm 133 tells us, Behold how good and how pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity.

00:44:25.000 It is like the precious ointment upon the head.

00:44:28.000 Oh, how badly have I craved that precious ointment in recent days, and I believe we can have it.

00:44:36.000 But first, first we must tell the truth.

00:44:42.000 For what was he, if not a man who told the truth in every place in every environment?

00:44:49.000 Now the most important truth Charlie told is this that long ago a man, begotten, not made, came down from heaven, and by the Holy Spirit was incarnate of the Virgin Mary and became man.

00:45:05.000 For our sake, he was crucified under Pontius Pilate and suffered death and was buried and rose again on the third day.

00:45:13.000 Charlie believed, as I do, that all the truth he told flowed from that fundamental principle.

00:45:22.000 I really do believe that we can come together in this country.

00:45:28.000 I believe we must.

00:45:30.000 But unity, real unity, can be found only after climbing the mountain of truth.

00:45:38.000 And there are difficult truths we must confront in our country.

00:45:43.000 One truth is that twenty-four percent of self-described, quote, very liberals believe it is acceptable to be happy about the death of a political opponent, while only three percent of self-described very conservatives agree three percent is too many, of course.

00:46:01.000 Another truth is that twenty-six percent of young liberals believe political violence is sometimes justified.

00:46:09.000 And only seven percent of young conservatives say the same, again, too high a number.

00:46:15.000 In a country of three hundred and thirty million people, you can of course find one person of a given political persuasion justifying this or that or almost anything.

00:46:24.000 But the data is clear.

00:46:27.000 People on the left are much likier to defend and celebrate political violence.

00:46:33.000 This is not a both sides problem.

00:46:35.000 If both sides have a problem, one side has a much bigger and malignant problem, and that is the truth we must be told.

00:46:44.000 That problem has terrible consequences.

00:46:48.000 The leader of our party, Donald J. Trump, escaped an assassin's bullet by less than an inch.

00:46:54.000 Our House majority lever, Stephen Scalise, came within seconds of death by an assassin himself.

00:47:02.000 And now the most influential conservative activist in generations, our friend Charlie, has been murdered.

00:47:09.000 This violence, it doesn't come from nowhere.

00:47:13.000 Now any political movement, violent or not violent, is a collection of forces.

00:47:18.000 It's like a pyramid that stacks on top, one support on top of the other.

00:47:24.000 That pyramid's got a foundation of donors, of activists, of journalists, now of social media influencers, and of course of politicians.

00:47:32.000 Not every member of that pyramid would commit a murder.

00:47:35.000 In fact, over ninety-nine percent, I'm sure would not.

00:47:38.000 But by celebrating that murder, apologizing for it, and emphasizing not Charlie's innocence, but the fact that he said things some didn't like, even to the point of lying about what he actually said, many of these people are creating an environment where things like this are inevitably going to happen.

00:47:58.000 A couple of months ago, I had land a fundraiser in Southern California, and since you know we'd be out there anyways, my wife and I decided to take our kids to Disneyland one weekend.

00:48:07.000 We had fun, and to be clear, most of the guests said very nice things, or they just left us alone.

00:48:13.000 But there was a loud and very cool minority that would shout at my children who were eight, five, and three whenever they got the opportunity. 1.00

00:48:22.000 You should disown your dad, you little shit, one middle-aged woman yelled at my five-year-old. 1.00

00:48:27.000 Tell the Secret Service to protect the Constitution, not your father, screamed another. 1.00

00:48:32.000 Are these women violent? 1.00

00:48:33.000 Probably not. 0.97

00:48:34.000 Are they deranged?

00:48:36.000 Certainly. 0.97

00:48:37.000 And while our side of the aisle certainly has its crazies, it is a statistical fact that most of the lunatics in American politics today are proud members of the far left.

00:48:49.000 After Charlie died, one of his friends and one of our senior White House staffers had left-leaning operatives in his neighborhood passing out leaflets telling people what he looked like and where he lived, encouraging neighbors to harass him, or God forbid to do worse.

00:49:07.000 While he was mourning, his dead friend, he and his wife had to worry about the political terrorists drawing a big target on the home he shares with his young children.

00:49:19.000 Are these people violent?

00:49:21.000 I hope not.

00:49:22.000 But are they guilty of encouraging violence?

00:49:25.000 You damn well better believe it.

00:49:27.000 We can thank God that most Democrats don't Share these attitudes, and I do, while acknowledging that something has gone very wrong with a lunatic fringe, a minority, but a growing and powerful minority on the far left. 0.75

00:49:44.000 There is no unity with people who scream at children over their parents' politics.

00:49:50.000 There is no unity with someone who lies about what Charlie Kirk said in order to excuse his murder.

00:49:56.000 There is no unity with someone who harasses an innocent family the day after the father of that family lost a dear friend.

00:50:03.000 There is no unity with the people who celebrate Charlie Kirk's assassination.

00:50:08.000 And there is no unity with the people who fund these articles, who pay the salaries of these terrorist sympathizers who argue that Charlie Kirk, a loving husband and father, deserved a shot to the neck because he spoke words with which they disagree.

00:50:26.000 Did you know that the George Soros Open Society Foundation and the Ford Foundation, the groups who funded that disgusting article justifying Charlie's death, do you know they benefit from generous tax treatment?

00:50:39.000 They are literally subsidized by you and me, the American taxpayer, and how do they reward us?

00:50:46.000 by setting fire to the house built by the American family over 250 years.

00:50:51.000 I am desperate for our country to be united in condemnation of the actions and the ideas that killed my friend.

00:50:59.000 I want it so badly that I will tell you a difficult truth.

00:51:03.000 We can only have it with people who acknowledge that political violence is unacceptable, and when we work to dismantle the institutions that promote violence and terrorism in our own country.

00:51:17.000 Now our government, you heard me talk to Stephen Miller about this, will be working very hard to do exactly that in the months to come.

00:51:24.000 We're not always going to get it right.

00:51:27.000 We will sometimes move more slowly than you would like.

00:51:30.000 We will sometimes move more slowly than I want us to.

00:51:33.000 But I promise you that we will explore every option to bring real unity to our country and stop those who would kill their fellow Americans because they don't like what they say.

00:51:45.000 But you have a rule too.

00:51:47.000 Civil society, Charlie understood this well, is not just something that flows from the government.
