00:11:04.000It does not erase documents, it does not convert a misleading statement into a truthful one, and it does not prevent Congress from establishing what happened.
00:11:12.000There will be another pandemic, there will be another crisis, and there will again be officials who insist that uncertainty must be hidden for the public's own good.

00:22:40.000When you bring animals in from the wild, you have these viruses, the wet markets in Asia, where people bring animals from the forest into a market, there are wet markets in Wuhan that are ample opportunity for a virus to jump from an animal.
00:22:59.000The origin was from a bat to an intermediate host to a human, very likely.
00:23:04.000In a wet market, and those animals should not have been in the Wuhan market.
00:23:08.000They knew that those animals should not have been in the market, and they immediately cleaned out the market, put restrictions on the kinds of animals that come into these wet markets.
00:23:20.000I think I should shut down those things right away.
00:23:57.000They looked at the wet market and tested, I think, 80,000 animals and didn't find any animals that had COVID-19.
00:24:03.000When they did find COVID-19 and trace samples there, They found that the DNA or the RNA was consistent with human spread.
00:24:12.000This was known not later on, didn't take years to develop, was known in January of 2020.
00:24:17.000And so Dr. Fauci says privately he knows it didn't come from the wet market.
00:24:22.000But as you saw, those were over a multi year period.
00:24:25.000No explanation of the risk, no defense of the judgment, no apology, just the fifth, you know, one, two, three, four, fifth, as Dave Chappelle would say.
00:24:38.000Now, like I said before leaving office, Joe Biden and his handlers, probably his handlers and the AutoPen, gave Fauci the sweeping AutoPen pardon, covering a 10 year period beginning January 1, 2014.

00:25:24.000Offenses relating to Fauci's service at NIAID director, his work on the White House Corona Task Force and COVID response team, and his role as advisor to the president.

00:25:42.000He cited the pardon, cited the Supreme Court's century old pardon cases, and said Fauci's blanket refusal showed contempt for Congress and, perhaps more importantly, contempt for the American people.

00:28:47.000Let the record state that Dr. Fauci will still have the advice of the other half a dozen attorneys that he brought along today.
