Nancy Pelosi doubles down on her call for athletes not to speak out against China's human rights abuses in the Uyghur Muslim genocide in the Xinjiang region of Xinjiang, a country where a minority population is being forced to work in forced labor camps and forced sterilization camps. She also says athletes should not speak out while they are in China because they risk incurring the anger of the Chinese Communist Party. What's the problem with athletes speaking out against a tyrannical regime? Is it because they are beholden to the Chinese regime? Or is it because the Chinese government is an enemy of the US? And why is it that no one is calling out the hypocrisy of the third in line to the presidency of the United States, Nancy Pelosi, telling our athletes to shut up and dribble against a regime that could be raping, killing, and torturing a minority group of Muslims? This is absolutely disgusting, and I want to know where is the outrage? I remember when if Meghan Rapinoe and the U.S. Women's team came out against Trump, and the media went crazy about it. Do you think maybe it's because the companies she works for have a stake in China's atrocities in Xinjiang and want to protect them from speaking out about them? what do you think?
