Summary

Nancy Pelosi doubles down on her call for athletes not to speak out against China's human rights abuses in the Uyghur Muslim genocide in the Xinjiang region of Xinjiang, a country where a minority population is being forced to work in forced labor camps and forced sterilization camps. She also says athletes should not speak out while they are in China because they risk incurring the anger of the Chinese Communist Party. What's the problem with athletes speaking out against a tyrannical regime? Is it because they are beholden to the Chinese regime? Or is it because the Chinese government is an enemy of the US? And why is it that no one is calling out the hypocrisy of the third in line to the presidency of the United States, Nancy Pelosi, telling our athletes to shut up and dribble against a regime that could be raping, killing, and torturing a minority group of Muslims? This is absolutely disgusting, and I want to know where is the outrage? I remember when if Meghan Rapinoe and the U.S. Women's team came out against Trump, and the media went crazy about it. Do you think maybe it's because the companies she works for have a stake in China's atrocities in Xinjiang and want to protect them from speaking out about them? what do you think? Do you see what's going on here, do you see where the outrage is coming from? and why is there no one standing up for our athletes being allowed to speak against China s human rights atrocities in the way they should be allowed to have a voice in the world stage in the Olympics? in the first place? or is there any outrage at all over the world? Check out the video clip below to see if you agree with her? I hope you do not only the hypocrisy, but are willing to call her out on it. or are you willing to do something about it and do something to speak up about it? . I'm not watching the Olympics, I apologize if you don't want to watch the Olympics. I understand why athletes may be there, but it may be the one chance they get to do it. But the fact that may be their only chance to compete like that in a way they get a chance to do so but why are we allowing them to do the one thing they may get to go to the Olympics in the next Olympics in Beijing why are they there?

00:00:00.000 Well, guys, you want to know what's much worse than, remember, shut up and dribble?
00:00:04.000 Remember when they were outraged that you would tell an athlete to shut up and dribble?
00:00:08.000 Well, Nancy Pelosi basically just did that.
00:00:11.000 She twice over the last 48 hours has come out to tell US athletes to essentially cower to the Chinese Communist Party and not speak out against their human rights abuses.
00:00:24.000 Here's the video clip.
00:00:25.000 Check it out for yourself. As I say, as I wish the athletes well, I do not encourage them to speak out against the Chinese government there because I fear for their safety if they do.
00:00:36.000 Here's another one where she doubles down again and comes out and specifically says, don't speak out against the Chinese Communist Party's genocide against the Uyghur Muslims in that country.
00:00:49.000 You know, where they're putting away in work camps, forced sterilizations, all the disgusting things That we're hearing about.
00:00:56.000 And I want to know where is that outrage?
00:00:59.000 I remember a time when if Megan Rapinoe and the U.S. women's team came out against Trump, this was a great place to host your politics and to do this.
00:01:09.000 But China, no problem.
00:01:11.000 They can get away with it. We're not going to call them out.
00:01:13.000 What the hell is anyone doing, given the Chinese Communist Party, the Olympics to begin with?
00:01:20.000 In the spirit of the Olympics, all the things that we've been told for decades about what it means, why would we even consider giving China a chance to do this?
00:01:32.000 I would say to our athletes, you're there to compete.
00:01:39.000 Do not risk incurring the anger of the Chinese government because they are ruthless.
00:01:47.000 I know there is a temptation on the part of some to speak out while they are there.
00:01:52.000 I respect that.
00:01:54.000 But I also worry about what the Chinese government might do to their reputations, to their families.
00:02:02.000 You guys are paying attention yet?
00:02:04.000 Do you see what's going on?
00:02:05.000 Do you think maybe it's because the companies where Nancy Pelosi invests her millions, where she's allowed to insider trade and do all this stuff?
00:02:13.000 Do you think maybe they're beholden to China, just like Hollywood?
00:02:17.000 Just like the NBA and the sports teams.
00:02:19.000 Remember, everyone's got a political opinion until money's on the line.
00:02:23.000 So, shut up and dribble.
00:02:26.000 The media went crazy about, that was terrible, you can't say essentially such things.
00:02:31.000 But Nancy Pelosi telling our athletes who are going to be on a world stage and who would have an opportunity to actually speak out against real-world atrocities, right?
00:02:41.000 Where a minority population is being destroyed By a tyrannical regime, now you've got to shut up and dribble.
00:02:50.000 There's too much money at stake.
00:02:53.000 We don't want to risk that, right?
00:02:55.000 So rather than penalizing China for what we all know has happened over the last few years, right?
00:03:00.000 Let's say they weren't apparently exactly honest about the virus.
00:03:05.000 They haven't exactly conducted themselves well as a member of the international community.
00:03:11.000 None of those things. But they're going to be rewarded By hosting the Olympics in 2022.
00:03:18.000 Why are we there?
00:03:20.000 Why are we there?
00:03:21.000 If our athletes have to be warned to not say anything against a tyrannical and dictatorial regime, why are we there?
00:03:31.000 I guess she's fine with US athletes protesting using their platform against the United States.
00:03:37.000 That's wonderful. But to do it against China, an actual dictatorial regime is problematic.
00:03:44.000 She's a national embarrassment and a disgrace and so are the policies that let us get there.
00:03:49.000 I'm not watching the Olympics.
00:03:51.000 I hope that you guys don't.
00:03:52.000 I understand why athletes may be there.
00:03:55.000 That may be the one shot that they get to do it.
00:03:57.000 I apologize if we're not watching.
00:03:59.000 I can understand again why they may go because it may be their only chance to compete like that.
00:04:03.000 But the fact that China is an enemy of the US, and we're allowing this to continue, that no one is calling out the hypocrisy, that the third in line to the presidency of the United States is telling our athletes to shut up and dribble, don't offend the Chinese Communist Party, while they literally could be sterilizing, raping, you know, the Uyghur Muslims over in a four-off part of the country.
00:04:27.000 That's no problem, folks.
00:04:29.000 That's no problem. This is why we gotta watch.
00:04:32.000 Check out the videos for yourself.
00:04:34.000 It's absolutely disgusting.
