00:00:00.000 Thank you.
00:05:25.000 We are just one week away from the inauguration and the Senate is moving full speed ahead on making sure these cabinet picks are confirmed.
00:05:36.000 Senator Tommy Tuberville from Alabama will join us in just moments to bring us the latest.
00:05:42.000 We've seen the insanity, what's going on in the beginning of this year.
00:05:45.000 My father needs his cabinet.
00:05:48.000 There's an overwhelming mandate from the people to make sure that happens.
00:05:52.000 Plus, guys, House Republicans are charting their path forward for this session of Congress.
00:05:58.000 Florida Congresswoman Anna Paulina Luna will be here as well.
00:06:02.000 Then we'll get to the news rundown and bring you all of the latest out of California because it's truly shocking.
00:06:11.000 As shocking as you think everything else has been so far, it just keeps Getting worse.

00:06:50.000 And breaking news at this hour.
00:06:53.000 We're told that my father's cabinet nominees are in perhaps their strongest positions yet, with the first confirmation hearing set to start tomorrow.
00:07:04.000 And it's imperative, it's imperative, guys, that we get these nominees confirmed as quickly as possible.
00:07:12.000 So to start with that, joining me now for the latest update in the Senate, Alabama Senator, our good friend, Coach Tommy Tuberville.
00:07:22.000 Tommy, how are you, man?
00:07:24.000 Good to have you.
00:07:25.000 I'm doing great, Don.
00:07:26.000 I am fired up.
00:07:27.000 It's been 69 days since the election.
00:07:29.000 I've been waiting for us to have an opportunity to let your dad, the president, put together his coaching staff, if I call it.
00:07:35.000 And we start tomorrow at 9.30 Eastern time with Pete Hedseth.
00:07:41.000 It will be a brawl.
00:07:42.000 I have been looking forward to it.
00:07:44.000 But these Democrats, they're going to fight with everything they have.
00:07:47.000 But we have to fight back.
00:07:49.000 We cannot give one inch to these people because...
00:07:52.000 Look what they've done to our country.
00:07:54.000 I agree 100%.
00:07:55.000 And when you look at sort of the terrorist attacks that happened, whether it was New York or whether it was New Orleans, possibly even Las Vegas in the opening week, all the shadiness around there, I mean, that, to me, if anything, solidifies the mandate that my father needs and deserves to get his people actually in there.
00:08:16.000 If there's people that want to argue about nuance, now is not the time.
00:08:20.000 They can do that later on in the Senate.
00:08:22.000 He has a mandate to be able to get his team to fight for him and the American people.
00:08:28.000 Yeah, his team.
00:08:29.000 And if there's anybody out there that I can trust like your dad, it's him because he will hold every one of them accountable.
00:08:37.000 And that's what I've been telling all the Republicans on our side.
00:08:40.000 Listen, let him pick his team.
00:08:42.000 And if he doesn't like them, they won't be there long.
00:08:44.000 They have to do the job.
00:08:45.000 You know what I like, Don?
00:08:46.000 He's picked a young group of people, people that have experience, not a bunch of lawyers.
00:08:51.000 Not a bunch of deep state people, people that are loyal to the American people, and they're going to get the job done.
00:08:56.000 So we'll start tomorrow.
00:08:58.000 And again, we'll have them throwing punches from right and left field.
00:09:02.000 They're going to come after them personally.
00:09:05.000 But I'll tell you, I'll pick head stuff tomorrow.
00:09:08.000 He's got a tough job, but I feel very confident because he knows how to fight back.
00:09:15.000 And that's what we need in the Secretary of Defense is a fighter.
00:09:19.000 100%.
00:09:20.000 And I mean, we saw that.
00:09:21.000 You saw sort of the swamp and the rhinos kind of try to go after him.
00:09:24.000 All of that stuff fizzled.
00:09:25.000 They were pushing innuendo and, you know, allegations that no one would actually put their name on.
00:09:32.000 And they wanted to counterbalance that against people literally signing off and be like, I was there in the room.
00:09:36.000 This is nonsense.
00:09:37.000 It didn't matter.
00:09:38.000 But I know you held a great event.
00:09:41.000 With some Navy SEALs, you know, I know I was told that, you know, a bunch of guys, you know, literally, you know, Medal of Honor recipients and other incredible veterans that were out there today, you know, for Pete Hagfest and for that nomination for Secretary of Defense.
00:09:56.000 What can you tell us about that?
00:09:58.000 Because to me, that to me is sort of the ultimate backing.
00:10:01.000 If the door kickers, the guys getting it done, the real heroes are like, that's the guy that can lead the military for these next four years?
00:10:08.000 That seems like it's everything to me.
00:10:10.000 Yeah, they were warfighters, not warmongers.
00:10:13.000 Here's what happened this morning.
00:10:14.000 This morning at around 11 o'clock, over 100 Navy SEALs, Rangers, Green Beret, they all got together.
00:10:22.000 We had media, and some of us talked.
00:10:26.000 But what I like to hear is these people that had been under Pete, that had worked in the military with him, side by side, been in the fight, actually put a gun.
00:10:38.000 Uh, in their arms and actually did something other than sit behind a desk and give orders.
00:10:44.000 Pete is a guy with experience and just listen to one after other, not just men, but also women.
00:10:49.000 You know, there's a big knock on Pete because of some things that were said in the past, but these women got up there and says, I would not trust anybody.
00:10:58.000 Other than Pete, because I know him.
00:11:00.000 I've fought with him.
00:11:01.000 I've been around him.
00:11:02.000 I've trained with him.
00:11:03.000 He's trained me.
00:11:04.000 He did an excellent job.
00:11:06.000 So at the end of the day, it's all about experience.
00:11:09.000 And again, we've got to get away from all these people that sat behind desks, these lawyers that never done anything.
00:11:15.000 They just want to go out there and be in charge of something.
00:11:18.000 But Pete is a staff sergeant.
00:11:20.000 He is a drill sergeant.
00:11:21.000 We don't need a general in the Secretary of Defense.
00:11:24.000 We need a drill sergeant, somebody that's going to be out there with a warfighter, side by side, other than in the Pentagon, walking around giving orders.
00:11:33.000 Talk about how quickly you think the Senate can move on these nominations and how that process will play out from here.
00:11:40.000 Again, you know, expedience is so critical.
00:11:42.000 I want my father to get in there on January 20th at noon and just start running.
00:11:47.000 But he needs his team to do that.
00:11:49.000 What can we expect over the next week with some of these confirmations?
00:11:53.000 Yeah, first of all, we've got quite a few of them, but there's six or seven that we need to get done.
00:11:58.000 Pete will be the first one.
00:11:59.000 It'll be probably somewhere around a four- to five-hour hearing tomorrow.
00:12:04.000 No breaks.
00:12:05.000 I mean, you go straight through.
00:12:06.000 Again, it'll be a fight from start to finish.
00:12:12.000 We'll have a vote the next couple of days in committee.
00:12:14.000 Then hopefully it'll go to the floor and be confirmed that way.
00:12:18.000 But that's the way they all do.
00:12:20.000 Some hearings will be longer than others.
00:12:23.000 You know, I'm fired up about all these picks that the president picked.
00:12:28.000 RFK Jr., you know, and I told RFK Jr. this, I said, listen, I've got two boys that are 28 and 30, and what you talked about about a year ago about healthy food and...
00:12:41.000 Getting back to the basics of health when it comes to our diets, my kids really enjoyed.
00:12:47.000 They enjoyed listening to him, and so he is going to be an absolute outstanding pick for Health and Human Services.
00:12:54.000 Looking forward to him, and of course, all of them.
00:12:56.000 Pam Bondi is going to be a great choice.
00:12:59.000 Cash Patel.
00:13:01.000 I talked to Cash several times in the last few days, but all of them will go through a three-, four-, five-hour hearing.
00:13:07.000 After that, we'll vote.
00:13:10.000 If they pretty much go 100% out of the Republican side, we'll get 100% vote out of the Republicans on the floor, which would confirm them.
00:13:20.000 So they have to do a good job in the committee hearing.
00:13:23.000 And when they do that, after that, I don't have any doubt that they'll be confirmed.
00:13:28.000 So, Senator, we've heard a lot about these sort of, you know, FBI background checks.
00:13:33.000 You know, I know the one on Pete Hegg says, you know, it came back and people quoted it as unremarkable, which shouldn't surprise us because, you know, again, everything else was pretty clearly a lie that they were talking about for a while, but it didn't stop them from running that.
00:13:47.000 What role do you think, you know, they play in all of this at this point?
00:13:51.000 Well, first of all, it did come back.
00:13:53.000 The only people that's seen it is the ranking member and the chairman, and they said it doesn't need to go any farther.
00:13:59.000 I also today saw Pete's...
00:14:02.000 Service report of all the things he had done.
00:14:06.000 You can't believe the things that some of these colonels and generals wrote about him when he was in the military, the things he'd done in training, the things he did in terms of fighting in the times that he was...
00:14:23.000 Working out in the bush and crawling in the grass and doing things that he needed to do to keep our country safe.
00:14:29.000 This guy has experience.
00:14:30.000 You know, I enjoyed looking at all of it.
00:14:32.000 It came out today.
00:14:34.000 I think that even the Democrats, when they start looking at this, are going, Houston, we could have a problem here if we're going to try to fight this guy that looks like he's a war hero.
00:14:44.000 Yeah, I sort of, you know, I'd love it to be smooth sailing, but I do sort of want to watch the Democrat apparatus in Washington take on a guy that's supported by all these Navy SEALs, all these Rangers, all these incredible actual warfighters.
00:14:57.000 Again, not bureaucrats or warmongers, as you so aptly put it.
00:15:00.000 You know, Congressional Medal of Honor recipients.
00:15:04.000 It's sort of like, wow, I'd like to see them take on, you know, those people and try to say that he's unfit or whatever nonsense that they were doing.
00:15:14.000 I mean, I think that will...
00:15:16.000 May people understand the Democratic Party and where they stand perhaps better than anything.
00:15:20.000 They can't come out against no qualifications.
00:15:23.000 I can remember back four years ago when Joe Biden's nominees were coming through, lawyer here, accountant here, no experience in anything that they were supposed to be doing.
00:15:33.000 It was a disaster.
00:15:37.000 But when we get with Pete, the thing that Pete obviously, and he'll sell this, Barack Obama in the eight years he was in office, He started all this DEI woke critical race theory nonsense in the military.
00:15:50.000 I had two friends that came back about six months ago from all over the world.
00:15:54.000 They'd been traveling, crawling through grass, mud.
00:15:58.000 Protecting our country and other countries.
00:16:00.000 They were Green Beret and they came back and the first week they were back they spent four days in DEI training after doing all the things that they needed to do for our country.
00:16:11.000 So that's what we have to get straightened out.
00:16:12.000 We have to understand that we've got to get back to training these young people to make sure that they understand that they're fighting for themselves and for our country.
00:16:21.000 And right now, this military that they're trying to train through Joe Biden and Barack Obama, it's all about diversity and equity and division.
00:16:32.000 It's nothing about team.
00:16:33.000 Your dad tried to put it back together for the four years he was in, and they fought tooth and nail.
00:16:38.000 And when Joe Biden went back in, he changed everything your dad did in the military.
00:16:42.000 And we've got to start fast and furious and get back this young group that wants to fight for this country.
00:16:49.000 Well, separately, I mean, you brought up DEI, but you also said you expect swift action on your bill to protect girls' sports, meaning women.
00:17:00.000 In women's sports, not men.
00:17:02.000 What can you tell us about that?
00:17:04.000 Obviously, for those who don't know, you're a legendary football coach.
00:17:07.000 I mean, you understand sports perhaps better than anyone.
00:17:11.000 You know, what can we see about that?
00:17:13.000 Because it hasn't just infiltrated the military or other ranks.
00:17:16.000 It's happening in colleges.
00:17:18.000 It's happening in high schools.
00:17:19.000 You know, men are taking women's sports scholarships.
00:17:22.000 How do we stop that lunacy?
00:17:23.000 And how do you see that going through?
00:17:25.000 Well, third time's a charm.
00:17:27.000 I've had two votes on it.
00:17:29.000 Since I've been here for four years, the first time I lost to the Democrats, nobody voted for me.
00:17:35.000 And then I actually lost the second time.
00:17:36.000 I had one Republican vote against me.
00:17:39.000 You have to have 60 votes.
00:17:41.000 Protection of Women and Girls in the Sports Act basically says no biological boy or man can participate against a woman, dress in a dressing room with a woman, or take a shower in a place of non-convenience.
00:17:56.000 So at the end of the day, It's nonsense.
00:17:59.000 I can't believe we're even talking about it.
00:18:01.000 Now, I know your dad's probably going to come out in executive order and say enough's enough, but executive orders can be changed.
00:18:06.000 That's the reason we have to fight to get it in the books to say you cannot do it as a law.
00:18:12.000 But I know President Trump will stop it from day one.
00:18:16.000 But again, we have got to fight to pass this, make it a true law to protect young women and girls over the course of being able to have a chance to do what men have done for the last 50 years.
00:18:30.000 Title IX has been great, best thing that's happened up here, but they're trying to destroy Title IX because they hate gender.
00:18:37.000 They want 100 different genders out there, Don, and it's a disaster.
00:18:42.000 Do you have any Democrat support right now?
00:18:45.000 You know, I lost Manchin, who was my only one.
00:18:49.000 I do not.
00:18:50.000 This won't come up probably for about a month.
00:18:53.000 I'll start on it once we get a lot of these confirmations done.
00:18:56.000 But right now, the number one thing we need to do is get President Trump's coaching staff put together.
00:19:03.000 Turn them loose, because we are in...
00:19:05.000 Have you seen what they're doing?
00:19:06.000 They're trying to burn the place on the way down, on the way out the door.
00:19:10.000 But they've almost burned it down even before this point.
00:19:13.000 But it has been a disaster for four years, and thank God we've got the Calvary's coming, and we can get everything going in the right direction.
00:19:23.000 You know, right now, everything's just going the opposite of what it needs to go.
00:19:26.000 Senator, I know you have votes, but I wanted to, before we go, obviously this is right in your wheelhouse.
00:19:32.000 Next Monday is the college football national championship.
00:19:36.000 It's Ohio State versus Notre Dame.
00:19:38.000 I know J.D. Vance definitely has a pick in this one.
00:19:42.000 Who do you like?
00:19:43.000 What do you think?
00:19:43.000 For the gambling degenerates that are watching right now, what do you think happens in this game?
00:19:49.000 It's going to be hard to beat Ohio State.
00:19:52.000 Ohio State's got the best players.
00:19:54.000 Now, at the end of the day, I tell you, Notre Dame is really playing over their head.
00:19:59.000 They're playing well.
00:20:00.000 They're well coached.
00:20:01.000 They've got a good young guy that's motivating the football team.
00:20:04.000 Now, we're only talking about one game.
00:20:06.000 You know, if I was coaching Notre Dame, the one thing I'd be telling our players, listen, we're going to win the game.
00:20:12.000 We might go for a fourth.
00:20:13.000 We might not ever punt.
00:20:14.000 We're going to kick onside kicks.
00:20:16.000 We're going to fake punts.
00:20:17.000 We're going to do everything we can to keep the momentum on our side.
00:20:20.000 Ohio State is kind of like the big brother here.
00:20:24.000 I mean, they've got...
00:20:25.000 Every position they have is very, very strong.
00:20:28.000 Now, I don't know what happened in the Michigan game when they played a month or so ago.
00:20:33.000 They didn't look very good, but they will get the best shot in this game, but I think Notre Dame will give their best shot.
00:20:38.000 It'll be very close, but it's going to be hard to beat Ohio State unless they beat themselves.
00:20:44.000 Well, thank you.
00:20:44.000 Senator Tommy Tuberville, really appreciate it.
00:20:46.000 Good luck in the hearings.
00:20:47.000 Let us all, everyone watching, let us know what we need to keep the pressure on, you know, not just the Democrats, but even the, you know, let's call it the waffly Republicans who aren't always on board.
00:20:58.000 Let's make sure we get that pressure on.
00:21:00.000 We can get these confirmations done swiftly so that we can start leading and putting America first on day one.
00:21:07.000 Thank you very much, Senator.
00:21:08.000 Really appreciate you having it coming back.
00:21:10.000 Thank you.
00:21:11.000 Talk to you soon.

00:22:04.000 Again, that's allfamilypharma.com slash donjr, donjr, code Don Jr., 10. Now, this evening, Speaker Mike Johnson says he's supporting efforts to place conditions on disaster assistance for California in the wake of the destructive wildfires blazing in Los Angeles amid California's gross mismanagement of funds.
00:22:30.000 And there's also reportedly discussions underway about potentially pairing the California disaster aid with a debt limit increase.
00:22:39.000 Here to react to this and quite a bit more, Congresswoman from Florida's 13th District, Anna Paulina Luna.
00:22:47.000 Anna, good to have you back.
00:22:49.000 How are you?
00:22:50.000 Hey, Don.
00:22:50.000 Nice to see you again.
00:22:52.000 Great to see you.
00:22:53.000 It was good seeing you at the Lago on, I guess it was Friday night.
00:22:56.000 But first off, I know you have some personal roots in Southern California near where those fires are.
00:23:03.000 What is your overall reaction to all of it?
00:23:09.000 In this disaster relief, and does there need to be conditions placed in there to get further federal aid to California?
00:23:16.000 I mean, I feel like, you know, a lot of really bad stuff happened in North Carolina.
00:23:20.000 There wasn't this kind of response.
00:23:23.000 It feels like those people were left by the wayside.
00:23:26.000 I think all Americans should be taken care of, but talk about this one specifically first, and then your reaction to, you know, sort of the lackluster response as it related to what happened to the hurricane victims in North Carolina.
00:23:37.000 Yeah, of course.
00:23:38.000 For many of you that might not know this, I actually grew up in Southern California, and I still remember when Southern California was actually a Republican state.
00:23:45.000 And so what I'm seeing happening now is you're seeing a lack of management and really qualification.
00:23:51.000 And as a result of that, you're seeing some of the horrible response from the county and local and state officials in regards to the wildlife impact.
00:24:01.000 And not just that, but what happened with the wildfires.
00:24:03.000 So my opinion, Dawn, I do think that this could have been better.
00:24:06.000 If you had someone that knew what they were doing or you had a Governor DeSantis, for example, that was running the state.
00:24:12.000 Now, we know that the media won't actually cover it, right?
00:24:15.000 We know that the media doesn't want to be critical of Gavin Newsom.
00:24:18.000 But what I will tell you is that you are correct.
00:24:21.000 What we found out and actually in our oversight hearings is that...
00:24:24.000 FEMA actually was openly discriminating and covering up, from what I found in my line of questioning, some of the cases in regard to them denying claims for supporters because they were either conservative or had Trump flags or signs in their lawns, at least in Florida.
00:24:38.000 And then also, too, a whistleblower said that that was happening in other states like North Carolina as well.
00:24:43.000 And so I do think that Johnson is correct, though, that this will be tied to certain things that the state of California has to be done.
00:24:50.000 But not just that, Dawn.
00:24:52.000 What we're finding is this administration...
00:24:53.000 Would like to use California.
00:24:55.000 They like to blame it on climate change.
00:24:57.000 Meanwhile, they're shelling literally millions of dollars to places like Ukraine and then saying that they can't help victims in North Carolina.
00:25:04.000 So it is interesting to see how that perspective is with this administration.
00:25:10.000 But the incoming administration, your dad's administration, is going to fix all of that.
00:25:13.000 Yeah, it was sort of amazing.
00:25:15.000 You know, we can't get into people who lost everything, houses, loved ones, their businesses, you know, in North Carolina, but we can pass a bill to send another couple hundred million dollars to Ukraine overnight.
00:25:24.000 But we also saw Democrats actually directing their followers to support the relief efforts in California by going to Act Blue.
00:25:33.000 I mean, the Democratic fundraising apparatus, like, is that even...
00:25:38.000 Is that even legal?
00:25:40.000 And does that type of behavior itself warrant further oversight from Congress?
00:25:45.000 Yeah, it's not ethical.
00:25:46.000 But remember, they did the exact same thing with George Floyd.
00:25:49.000 In fact, that was largely the reason why Democrats were able to raise as much as they were during the George Floyd rights.
00:25:54.000 They did the exact same thing.
00:25:56.000 Now, what is interesting is with the new PlatformX, we have community notes.
00:26:00.000 And so to see people like Elizabeth Warren and even Gavin Newsom being...
00:26:04.000 Corrected in real time, and then obviously they weren't able to raise as much.
00:26:08.000 But it's completely unethical because you have people that are low information, low propensity, people that might not necessarily think that they're donating to the Democrat fundraising platform, but that's exactly what they're doing.
00:26:20.000 It's nothing that I'm surprised by anymore, though, Don.
00:26:23.000 I've seen a lot up here.
00:26:24.000 And as you stated in some of those hearings, I mean, if they do it from their personal accounts, it's one thing, but they are pretty sneaky in regards to fundraising money in that sense.
00:26:32.000 Yeah, it seems like they were pretty sneaky as it relates to some of the election stuff, so hopefully we'll get to the bottom of that too.
00:26:38.000 Anna, what are your thoughts?
00:26:40.000 I've talked a lot about this broader new MAGA coalition that's going on.
00:26:45.000 People from all different walks of life, different political alliances getting together to try to put America first and actually get this agenda that my father wants done past.
00:26:54.000 How does that translate to the work that you're doing in Congress?
00:26:58.000 What do you see as the first items of business?
00:27:01.000 In this new legislative session.
00:27:03.000 Well, you know, having the White House and Senate really does bring a new perspective to Congress as a whole, because a lot of what we're doing now and that we pass, we know that the Senate will likely also put on your dad's desk and it'll actually get signed into law.
00:27:17.000 You know, when we had Democrats controlling the Senate, they were really denying a lot of what we were sending up from Congress.
00:27:22.000 And so, you know, a lot of our priorities is, A, going to be securing the border, but then also, too, we have to make sure that we raise the debt ceiling and that we have, you know, these talks and reconciliation.
00:27:35.000 You know, unfortunately, what happens If Democrats see a leverage point and they can force a Republican administration into negotiating with them, they will extract and extort, in my opinion, certain demands so that they can get legislation passed.
00:27:50.000 So it's really going to be, I think, a test of the House majority, whether or not we can get along and deliver on the president's agenda.
00:27:55.000 So as you see, Don, we have people from all different factions of Congress, whether it's the moderates, whether it's the more hardliners and conservatives like the House Freedom Caucus, or whether it's some of those more libertarian-leaning members that are going to be delivered.
00:28:08.000 So here's to hoping.
00:28:10.000 We're cautiously optimistic.
00:28:11.000 But if I could just put something in perspective, Dawn, I actually just had a whistleblower come forward and put two very different stories on my table, right?
00:28:20.000 Said that during the Trump administration, he had a little girl that was basically adopted.
00:28:25.000 Her parents were suicide bombers that were Taliban, and so the MARSOC went in, rescued this little girl.
00:28:31.000 She came to the United States, and the first Trump admin actually helped to fight for her to stay here in the States.
00:28:37.000 Joe Biden's State Department and administration knowingly put this little girl in harm's way, actually deported her back because they were trying to spite the previous Trump administration.
00:28:48.000 As a result of this, Don, this little girl was actually sexually assaulted.
00:28:52.000 So my office is taking on this case, and we found...
00:28:54.000 We found out that the State Department was covering this up and trying to now currently release this little girl into the custody of a known person on the terrorist watch list in the United States.
00:29:05.000 And so when I tell the American people that there are two very, very different administrations that I've had the opportunity to serve under in Congress, and I look forward to your father's agenda because of what I'm seeing in regards to exposing corruption and actually fixing a lot of these problems that we're seeing.
00:29:24.000 Congress's job just doesn't stop at voting.
00:29:26.000 We have to ensure that we are helping President Trump eliminate the deep state that's currently worked against not just the American people, but has largely been responsible for putting innocent people in harm's way.
00:29:36.000 Yeah, it's amazing.
00:29:38.000 I mean, imagine, I mean, you want to release a young girl into the arms of a terrorist.
00:29:45.000 You know, again, I say it all the time, it's hard to believe.
00:29:47.000 You see, that's the same thing with all the pedophiles.
00:29:50.000 We're protecting and we're releasing pedophiles.
00:29:52.000 We're signing pardons for people on death row for multiple murders where they murder a young girl a week after she killed their mom.
00:30:00.000 I mean, it's hard to believe.
00:30:03.000 I feel like I'm the star of The Truman Show and people are just seeing how far you can go before you break because it's truly...
00:30:12.000 There, but hopefully you get to the bottom of that one too and just hold these people accountable, Anna.
00:30:16.000 But I do have to ask, I know we spoke about this a little bit last week.
00:30:20.000 You've been a big voice investigating the mystery surrounding UFOs, UAPs.
00:30:27.000 What's going on?
00:30:28.000 What's new?
00:30:29.000 What's happened in these hearings and where does it go from here?
00:30:32.000 So this is a very long conversation, but to summarize it and put it in perspective, when I got into Congress my first term, part of my purview and perspective being in the military, and that's where I really first heard about this, was from pilots that had an encounter while flying when I was stationed at the Portland Air National Guard.
00:30:50.000 But part of this is related to national defense.
00:30:53.000 Obviously, I'm in Florida.
00:30:54.000 I have MacDill Air Force Base right in my backyard.
00:30:57.000 So I had an interest in it from that perspective as a military member and then also national security.
00:31:02.000 But really where I... Honed in my interest is when I was approached by Representative Matt Gates and Tim Burchett in regards to two whistleblowers that came forward at Eglin Air Force Base, said that the Air Force had information and that they were essentially covering it up.
00:31:17.000 So I, of course, went up there being a member of House Oversight.
00:31:21.000 And when I tell you, Dawn, that I was essentially men in black with not just Representative Gates, but also Representative Tim Burchett, and that we were denied information as members of Congress.
00:31:33.000 Remember, Congress We're good to go.
00:31:41.000 Reason why we need to be denied access to anything, whether or not they deemed us able to look at the information.
00:31:47.000 The fact is, as a member of Congress, we have the highest security clearances.
00:31:50.000 We should be able to provide oversight for that.
00:31:53.000 They try to deny us the information.
00:31:54.000 What I can tell you is in my investigations and just looking at it from a mathematical perspective, I do not believe that we are the only life form that exists in galaxies.
00:32:04.000 But what I can tell you is From what I'm seeing, the way that the U.S. government has been handling this information, almost as treating the people as if we're stupid, I think that that's inappropriate.
00:32:15.000 You know, what's interesting, Dawn, is that this has been the biggest push.
00:32:18.000 I'm not just in the House, but in the Senate.
00:32:20.000 And it's bicameral and bipartisan.
00:32:23.000 So we have people from, you know, people that I don't really like, like Adam Schiff to Marco Rubio, who's our new incoming Secretary of State.
00:32:30.000 And so there are a lot of people that realize that the information that we've obtained, the information brought forward by whistleblowers, to include also documented declassified evidence from the Pentagon, says that there is something out there.
00:32:42.000 And so, you know, not to be a tin hat wearing conspiracy theorist, I'm just going on facts and what I've been able to deliver.
00:32:48.000 But what I can tell you is based on my research, it is real.
00:32:50.000 I think the American people know that, but I think they want the U.S. government to admit that.
00:32:54.000 So here's to, I guess, the first omission that it's real.
00:32:57.000 Yeah, no, I sort of feel like, you know, again, for the last few months, you've seen some of the videos, you've seen some of that evidence, and it's like the world got so chaotic under Joe Biden, the administration, people struggling just to get by, us entering wars, the Middle East going to hell, that like it was all of a sudden like, hey, here's all this like pretty, you know, this great evidence that UFOs.
00:33:17.000 People are like, I'm too busy to worry about that right now.
00:33:19.000 I feel like at any other time in history, this would have been the biggest story in the history of the world.
00:33:23.000 And yet, the chaos sown by the Biden administration and their failures, it almost was like, ah, we'll get to that later on.
00:33:31.000 It doesn't even matter.
00:33:33.000 Well, you know, what's interesting is we actually did coordinate those hearings.
00:33:37.000 So, I mean, we started the hearings in oversight.
00:33:39.000 A lot of people, Don, didn't want to touch it.
00:33:41.000 They thought that if they really addressed the topic of UAPs that they would be kind of deemed as weirdos and lose their political careers.
00:33:48.000 But we actually had, I think it was one of the largest viewed and biggest audience hearings in congressional history.
00:33:53.000 And then the second hearing that we had, we just wanted to reaffirm and provide more evidence.
00:33:58.000 Now, look, there's going to be both good and bad actors, especially in this space, because I think that there's a lot of...
00:34:02.000 But I'm telling you, just based on what I found through government documents, Operation Paperclip, Operation Blue Book, these are all declassified programs that the U.S. government had.
00:34:14.000 And so it's not imaginary.
00:34:16.000 It's not make-believe.
00:34:17.000 It's real.
00:34:18.000 I just think that it puts things in perspective.
00:34:22.000 Little rock floating through outer space.
00:34:24.000 And so I think it can kind of put some of your stressors and perspectives when you think about it through that lens.
00:34:29.000 Yeah, you know, I'm a trumpet.
00:34:30.000 There's no shortage of ego or hubris at times.
00:34:33.000 But I'm like, yeah, who are we to think?
00:34:34.000 Like, we're this little thing in what's essentially infinite space.
00:34:38.000 And we're like, we're the only ones that this could have possible.
00:34:40.000 I mean, you'd think just statistically, you know, it'd be impossible to be alone.
00:34:43.000 That doesn't mean someone's more advanced, but there almost has to be other life.
00:34:48.000 So it'll be interesting to see this.
00:34:50.000 And frankly, I hope we get it.
00:34:51.000 Get full transparency into that.
00:34:53.000 It's a shame, though not surprising, that even congressional oversight would be stonewalled.
00:34:59.000 And again, I hope we can get rid of those roadblocks, because I think the American people need to know these things, and I think they also need to know where their money is being spent and or wasted.
00:35:08.000 I think that transparency is going to be such a huge part of this administration.
00:35:12.000 Once people understand just how bad some of these decisions are, just how bad the waste, fraud, and abuse is, They'll actually get involved and stop voting for it.
00:35:22.000 You know, when they think, hey, everyone's operating in good faith, once they realize that's not the case, I think we can actually get a lot done.
00:35:29.000 Yeah, you know, I'll just say this because I don't know how long the segment is, but look, I've been told that because I voted down FISA, for example, that had this, you know, a section in it that was not in the best interest of the American people needs to be reformed, right?
00:35:43.000 Section 702. That I was not being a team player.
00:35:46.000 And I would respond that, you know, I serve the team of the American people in the Constitution.
00:35:51.000 And so, look, this place can be reformed.
00:35:54.000 I think your dad proved that there's a lot of good people that have been elected.
00:35:58.000 And even just comparing two years ago to now, there is change that's occurring in Washington.
00:36:03.000 And it's a breath of fresh air because I can tell you that when I first got up here, it was pretty hard to stomach some of the stuff that we were saying.
00:36:10.000 But again, that only happens when people choose to get involved and get engaged.
00:36:14.000 And what I will finish with this, Dawn, is that if you can watch the hearings and some of the evidence that we presented, look at what Congress has submitted into the archives.
00:36:22.000 And frankly, I'm gonna be starting the Ancient Civilizations and Archaeology Caucus.
00:36:26.000 There's a lot of interest in that.
00:36:27.000 And maybe you'll come and watch some of our hearings then. - Oh, I'll have to do that.
00:36:31.000 I mean, you talk about that sort of coming in as an outsider.
00:36:33.000 You weren't part of a political establishment.
00:36:36.000 Can you talk about some of the other fresh faces and fresh voices in Congress, like yourself, perhaps new people that are coming in?
00:36:44.000 Tell us about this current GOP conference and the reason for the optimism, hopefully, in this House.
00:36:50.000 I mean, are you seeing more of those faces that just aren't part of the usual machine?
00:36:56.000 What has that been like working on the Hill with those people?
00:36:59.000 Because I think that's the biggest thing.
00:37:00.000 If we can break some of that...
00:37:02.000 You know, that stalemate of just these people.
00:37:03.000 Well, this is the way it's always been, and I've been here forever.
00:37:07.000 You know, where do we go next?
00:37:09.000 Yeah, of course, for incoming freshmen members, you have Brandon Gill, Abe Hamide.
00:37:13.000 I mean, a lot of people that your dad endorsed were people that would deliver on the America First agenda and also, too, weren't from Washington, weren't from D.C., didn't, you know, engineer their entire lives to run for office, but simply stepped up because it was the right thing to do, which is more of what we need in Washington.
00:37:27.000 But also, too, it's not just at the congressional level, right?
00:37:30.000 Like, we can pass great legislation, but if we don't have people that will enforce the pieces of legislation and these different...
00:37:37.000 Appointed positions, that's also where you'll see the blockades.
00:37:40.000 And so having people like Tulsi Gabbard, like Pete Hegseth, like Kash Patel that will be getting confirmed, mind you, tomorrow, even though they're going to be putting them through the gauntlet, they're going to be getting confirmed and can do kind of a top-down overhaul of some of these departments, that also helps.
00:37:55.000 And so we really have two years to push through, and I think push through legislation that will change this country for generations to come.
00:38:03.000 I know that we have a very slim majority, and so I just...
00:38:06.000 Ask all of our Republican colleagues to work together and listen to President Trump's message, right?
00:38:10.000 When we were down there this weekend, President Trump had many members of Congress listen to what they had to say.
00:38:16.000 But name me one other Republican president that's done that.
00:38:19.000 No one's done it from what I can remember.
00:38:21.000 Not even Democrats have done that.
00:38:22.000 And so I think that we have a really unique time in American history where we can really usher in the golden era.
00:38:28.000 I'm not just saying that.
00:38:29.000 I genuinely believe that.
00:38:30.000 And so, again, I'm cautiously optimistic.
00:38:32.000 We have seven more days.
00:38:34.000 So we have really a true leader back in the White House.
00:38:36.000 And I think that that's really going to impact not just legislation here in the United States, but also foreign policy.
00:38:41.000 And as you're seeing things with China and Taiwan, Ukraine and Russia, and really the Middle East, Israel as well.
00:38:48.000 I think that that stuff is all going to quietly settle because we actually have a man back in the White House.
00:38:53.000 I agree.
00:38:54.000 What are your top priorities, Anna, for January 20th and shortly beyond?
00:38:59.000 What are the things that need to get done in your mind that we've got to focus on?
00:39:02.000 Because I've been talking about it.
00:39:03.000 I said it with Senator Tuberville earlier.
00:39:05.000 We need the people watching to be vocal.
00:39:07.000 Keep that pressure on.
00:39:08.000 If you see some of the Republicans get weak-kneed because they'd rather cater to Democrats or Washington establishment media rather than doing what their constituency wants, hold them accountable.
00:39:19.000 Get vocal.
00:39:20.000 It's amazing how that works.
00:39:21.000 When we put on that pressure, We can move mountains.
00:39:24.000 But what are your top priorities for the first 100 days?
00:39:28.000 So I'd say the top thing really to allow the president and his administration to deliver on the campaign promises to the American people to include border security and all that is we are going to have to raise the debt ceiling.
00:39:40.000 And we are going to have to do that via reconciliation, meaning we are going to have to find savings for the American people, but also increase so that there is funding available for the incoming administration.
00:39:50.000 So if you think of the U.S. government kind of like a corporation or a business, what's currently happening is there's a lot of spending.
00:39:57.000 And there's no...
00:39:59.000 Profit, there's nothing coming in, but we're sending a lot out, right?
00:40:02.000 So we need to kind of flip that around, adjust it so that we can get back on the right track.
00:40:06.000 So that's probably number one.
00:40:08.000 Number two, though, would be we have to stop what's happening with illegal immigration in this country.
00:40:13.000 You know, not to scare people, but the U.S. government under Joe Biden knowingly released individuals on the terrorist watch list into U.S. territory, meaning that they are here, they are in your backyard.
00:40:25.000 That's not to fearmonger people.
00:40:27.000 That is dangerous.
00:40:28.000 These people...
00:40:28.000 People are not here to help the United States.
00:40:31.000 They are here to hurt us.
00:40:33.000 Fix that.
00:40:34.000 We have to correct that.
00:40:35.000 And also, we are not a true nation if we don't have borders.
00:40:37.000 And so we have to ensure that our borders secure.
00:40:39.000 And then I would say from a very important but the number three thing that we have to do, obviously, top priority would be ensuring that our foreign policy is squared away.
00:40:49.000 Right now, China is eating our lunch.
00:40:51.000 We really do have a threat that China will invade Taiwan.
00:40:54.000 Not just that, but we also have Russia and Ukraine.
00:40:57.000 Obviously, us sending millions of dollars unaccounted for to Ukraine is not sustainable, not just for the world.
00:41:04.000 And so, having your father, A, open up dialogues and discussions with world leaders.
00:41:09.000 Which not to throw shade at the current administration, but I don't think that those discussions were being had.
00:41:14.000 And I say that because of what you're seeing happen on the world stage currently with other countries that are knowingly and outright disrespecting the United States.
00:41:22.000 Those would be top three.
00:41:23.000 And then also to delivering on the campaign promises of dealing with this inflation, this administration currently under Joe Biden, the way that they spent, the way that they managed the economy, it's really not good.
00:41:34.000 I think the incoming administration is walking into a dumpster fire, but I have faith that they will be able to...
00:41:39.000 Sort out everything and turn the ship around.
00:41:42.000 Well, Congresswoman Anna Paulina Luna, thank you so much.

00:42:57.000 Don't face the IRS alone.
00:43:00.000 So, guys, with that, we're going to talk about the news a little bit.
00:43:04.000 Some of it we've covered peripherally, but we'll get into more details.
00:43:08.000 Tomorrow is going to be a major day.
00:43:11.000 As Secretary of Defense nominee Pete Hexeth, my friend, great guy, true American hero, has his hearing before the Senate Armed Services Committee.
00:43:21.000 We already know what the attack from Democrats will look like.
00:43:26.000 Elizabeth Warren sent Pete Hegseth a deranged, truly deranged, letter last week that was filled with pathetic smears and weak attacks.
00:43:36.000 For example, Warren attacked Hegseth for wanting to fire the generals that were behind the disastrous Afghanistan withdrawal.
00:43:45.000 Consequences for failure are a big no-no in Washington, you would think.
00:43:51.000 But Elizabeth Warren, Pocahontas.
00:43:55.000 We'll apparently protect those who are clearly incompetent.
00:43:59.000 The system they are fighting to preserve allows non-stop failure.
00:44:05.000 We've watched it happen over and over again.
00:44:08.000 Warren also tried to claim that Pete Hexeth is a terrorist.
00:44:12.000 Wait for it.
00:44:14.000 Because he had a Jerusalem cross tattoo.
00:44:18.000 Think about that.
00:44:20.000 The Jerusalem cross.
00:44:21.000 I guess he also had a Maltese cross.
00:44:23.000 Literally, he has the same tattoo that was on the cover of Jimmy Carter's funeral memo, whatever they call it.
00:44:31.000 I mean, it's literally the same thing, but they were trying to call him a Nazi for it.
00:44:36.000 I mean, this is how deranged the Democrats got.
00:44:39.000 She wrote, We cannot have a defense secretary whose fellow service members feel concerned enough about it to report it as a potential insider threat.
00:44:49.000 Huh, I wonder who did that.
00:44:50.000 I imagine absolutely no one.
00:44:53.000 Elizabeth Warren is so desperate to smear Pete Hexeth that she's claiming being a proud Christian means that you are an extremist.
00:45:02.000 That shouldn't surprise us from today's Democrat Party, but it still happens day in and day out.
00:45:08.000 Why is a senator attacking religious expression?
00:45:12.000 Does a former Harvard law professor not understand the First Amendment?
00:45:19.000 Also, does Warren now think that Jimmy Carter is some sort of radical, neo-Nazi, whatever it may be that they've been calling him?
00:45:27.000 The Jerusalem cross was on the cover of his funeral program, as I mentioned earlier.
00:45:32.000 So you'd think they'd get over it.
00:45:35.000 You'd think they wouldn't push this line of attack, but it doesn't stop them because the hypocrisy from the Democrats knows no bounds.
00:45:43.000 Meanwhile, Biden and his handlers continue to be delusional.
00:45:48.000 Biden somehow thinks he would have won the election.
00:45:51.000 Seriously, guys, like, Joe Biden getting lost on stages, can't remember where he is, can't remember who he's talking to, falls up and down stairs all day long, thinks he would have won the election.
00:46:02.000 Check it out.
00:46:04.000 Do you regret your decision to run for re-election?
00:46:06.000 Do you think that that made it easier for your predecessor to now become your successor?
00:46:11.000 I don't think so.
00:46:12.000 I think I would have beaten Trump.
00:46:17.000 I think that Kamala could have beaten Trump.
00:46:22.000 It wasn't about...
00:46:24.000 I thought it was important to unify the party.
00:46:29.000 And when the party was worried about whether or not I was going to be able to move, I thought, even though I thought I could win again, I thought it was better to unify the party.
00:46:38.000 And I had it was the greatest honor of my life to be president of the United States.
00:46:44.000 But I didn't want to be one who caused a party that wasn't unified to lose an election.
00:46:51.000 And that's why I stepped aside.
00:46:53.000 But I was confident she could win.
00:46:55.000 As my father said in his debate with Joe Biden.
00:47:00.000 I'm not sure what he just said.
00:47:03.000 And I'm not sure he knows what he just said.
00:47:07.000 Seriously?
00:47:07.000 He thinks Kamala Harris would have won.
00:47:09.000 Well, why didn't she win?
00:47:11.000 I mean, if she could have won, why didn't she?
00:47:14.000 If he was so confident, he should have stayed in the race.
00:47:19.000 No one in the Democrat Party thought he could do that, and I think anyone watching at home didn't even look at that debate as the bloodbath it was.
00:47:27.000 They felt sad for a guy.
00:47:30.000 He needs to be in a nursing home.
00:47:32.000 This guy still controls our nuclear codes.
00:47:35.000 It's dangerous, and it's insane.
00:47:38.000 Just today, he said that when he became president, the border numbers came way down.
00:47:43.000 Think about that.
00:47:44.000 They came way down.
00:47:45.000 The opposite is, of course, true.
00:47:47.000 The number of illegals crossing skyrocket to record highs.
00:47:51.000 Biden even went on to say that he pushed very hard, very hard, to put more Secret Service agents on the border.
00:47:59.000 Obviously, that didn't happen, and frankly, the Secret Service doesn't work at the border.
00:48:04.000 But considering how the Secret Service, some of them, and certainly leadership performed at this time, I'm not sure.
00:48:11.000 That would have actually accomplished anything anyway.
00:48:14.000 But listen for yourself.
00:48:16.000 Let's get something in mind about the border.
00:48:19.000 When I became president, the numbers came way down, number one.
00:48:23.000 Number two, we had a circumstance where I pushed very hard for a bipartisan agreement to put more people on the border, more secret services.
00:48:34.000 And guess what?
00:48:36.000 He's on the phone saying, don't do it.
00:48:38.000 Don't do it.
00:48:40.000 Yeah, so again, I don't know if too many Secret Service agents on the border, not exactly their job.
00:48:45.000 You would think that Biden, who is a protectee of the United States Secret Service and has been for quite some time, including as VP for eight years prior to this, would actually know that.
00:48:54.000 But it will not surprise you that Biden clearly doesn't know anything.
00:48:58.000 Biden's top national security aide, Jake Sullivan, is also on a farewell tour.
00:49:03.000 He says that Biden's legacy is that the United States is in a stronger...
00:49:08.000 More secure position than when they took office.
00:49:12.000 You can't make it up, folks.
00:49:14.000 So, the United States is in a stronger, more secure position and our competitors and adversaries are weaker and under pressure.
00:49:21.000 I think that's the main handoff that we will make.
00:49:26.000 Who could possibly believe that?
00:49:27.000 I mean, think about it.
00:49:28.000 I mean, these people have security clearances and they'll lie to your faces.
00:49:31.000 Maybe we've got to revoke all of those along with the 51 people that signed the letter.
00:49:35.000 Saying that the Hunter Biden laptop was Russian disinformation.
00:49:39.000 Like, why don't we start with all of those people and some of the warmongers and others who profit off of their security clearances that don't actually need security clearances?
00:49:48.000 Let's just get rid of all of those on day one.
00:49:50.000 But no wonder CNN's ratings are awful.
00:49:54.000 There's not too many people left that can sit through being lied to to their face like that anymore.
00:50:02.000 They've heard it all.
00:50:03.000 They're sick of it.
00:50:05.000 But in other news, the New York Times finally admitted the obvious.
00:50:10.000 In a column this weekend, the New York Times editorial board wrote, quote, the current surge in immigration will slow the pace of wage growth for Americans without college degrees over the next few years.
00:50:23.000 So far, for the past four years, they've been fact-checking anyone, anyone, that says Biden's open borders are hurting American workers.
00:50:33.000 But now...
00:50:34.000 Now that the election is over, folks, they're going to be really honest and they're going to admit the truth.
00:50:40.000 It never ends.
00:50:42.000 It never ends.
00:50:43.000 It's why they're failing.
00:50:44.000 It's why it's so important to like, share, subscribe.
00:50:48.000 People like me, get it out there.
00:50:51.000 People that are like us, other people on Rumble that are talking about real news, that are willing to have these conversations, that have been saying stuff like this, frankly, for months and years.
00:51:00.000 I wrote a book about it.
00:51:03.000 In the summer of 2019, I mean, it's nuts.
00:51:06.000 This stuff has to stop.
00:51:09.000 The information is out there.
00:51:11.000 We just need to put a nail in the coffin of the mainstream media who have failed us so drastically.
00:51:17.000 But finally, guys, we're learning even more about the awful response to California and the fires out there.
00:51:24.000 Turns out, there was water in a reservoir for the Palisades that literally holds...
00:51:32.000 117 million gallons of water.
00:51:36.000 But get this.
00:51:37.000 It's been empty for nearly a year.
00:51:40.000 Why?
00:51:41.000 Will they ever tell us?
00:51:42.000 Why is a reservoir that's designed to hold water for exactly this kind of thing empty?
00:51:48.000 Why would it allow it to be that way?
00:51:50.000 You know the fires are a problem.
00:51:53.000 My father was talking about it out there the last time it happened in 2018 and how this is just a tinderbox waiting to go up in smoke.
00:52:00.000 They know it.
00:52:01.000 They do nothing.
00:52:03.000 Watch this news clip.
00:52:05.000 A man saved his family home with just a garden hose.
00:52:11.000 He said he saw no firefighters while doing this.
00:52:14.000 Again, how is it possible and why?
00:52:20.000 When I was out here hosing the house down and getting ready, and when the houses started to burn...
00:52:26.000 I didn't see one single fire truck out here at all.
00:52:31.000 Zero.
00:52:32.000 If they had some fire trucks, just put a squirt here, a squirt there, and kept an eye on things, all these houses would be here now.
00:52:39.000 I'm telling you right now, I saw it with my own eyeballs.
00:52:41.000 All these houses.
00:52:43.000 The houses behind me, they're all gone.
00:52:45.000 They started with one little spark, one little small fire.
00:52:48.000 They just squirted those out, had a few people out there, and they'd all be here now.
00:52:53.000 I did what I needed to do.
00:52:54.000 I did what I wanted to do.
00:52:56.000 I did what I thought I could do, and that's what I did.
00:53:01.000 You know, I've read a lot about, you know, I guess Stewart and Linda Resnick controlling all of the water and they have some sort of, you know, perhaps closeted pack with the governor and Democrat policy to allow them to profiteer from this while not allowing the water to go where it's needed, especially in emergency.
00:53:17.000 And Gavin Newsom, well, he's now claiming that he's ready to build his own Marshall Plan to rebuild Los Angeles.
00:53:25.000 But he was asked about the details of that plan.
00:53:29.000 And, well, he didn't quite know.
00:53:31.000 But he promises it will be really, really, really ridiculously awesome, guys.
00:53:37.000 You know, I have a plan.
00:53:38.000 It's wonderful.
00:53:39.000 Tell us about it.
00:53:40.000 You can't do that.
00:53:41.000 I have a feeling there's going to be a lot of conspiracy theories floating out there because of everything else we've seen over the last nine years.
00:53:48.000 And I imagine the most nefarious of those will probably be exactly right.
00:53:53.000 Check this one out.
00:53:55.000 Already organizing a Marshall Plan.
00:53:57.000 We already have a team of looking and reimagining LA 2.0, and we're making sure everyone's included, not just the folks on the coast, people here that were ravaged by this disaster.
00:54:07.000 You just said you're organizing a Marshall Plan for the rebuilding of California.
00:54:11.000 What is that Marshall Plan?
00:54:12.000 Tell us about this Marshall Plan.
00:54:13.000 We're just starting to lay out.
00:54:14.000 I mean, we're still fighting these fires.
00:54:16.000 So we're already talking to city leaders.
00:54:18.000 We're already talking to civic leaders.
00:54:20.000 We're already talking to...
00:54:21.000 Business leaders and nonprofits.
00:54:23.000 We're talking to labor leaders.
00:54:25.000 We're starting to organize how we can put together a collection of individuals on philanthropy for recovery, how we can organize the region, how we can make sure that we are seeking federal assistance for the Olympics more broadly, but also federal assistance for the recovery efforts, and how we can galvanize the community with folks that love this community to really develop a mindset.
00:54:49.000 So that at scale, we're dealing with the scope of this tragedy and responding to it at scale with efficiency like the executive order I talked about, time value of delivering projects, addressing building codes, addressing permitting issues, and moving forward to rebuilding and being more resilient.
00:55:08.000 Yeah, when he talks about that, in my mind, I think I know what's going to happen.
00:55:15.000 Obviously, the lack of insurance has made it impossible.
00:55:19.000 The permitting process, even if you wanted to rebuild, even if you could get permits, even if they fast track all of those things, there's not going to be enough contractors to rebuild all of this.
00:55:27.000 And so someone's going to swoop in and buy all of that real estate in some of the most beautiful neighborhoods in the world.
00:55:31.000 They're going to turn it into tenement housing.
00:55:33.000 Because remember, you know, you can hear the lines essentially about inclusivity and yada, yada, yada.
00:55:40.000 And Americans are going to be left by the wayside while they make and continue to build their dystopian communist paradise in California.
00:55:46.000 That's my prediction.
00:55:48.000 That's what I see happening.
00:55:50.000 You know, they'll move just enough red tape that one or two people can maybe rebuild or if they know someone, but everyone else is going to get screwed.
00:55:56.000 But guys, the fire threat is still intensifying.
00:56:01.000 This evening, this evening, the National Weather Service has issued a particularly dangerous situation warning for large swaths of Los Angeles and Ventura counties, cautioning of wind gusts ranging from 45 to 70 miles per hour.
00:56:17.000 Dry air and a higher risk of rapid fire spread and extreme fire behavior.
00:56:24.000 This is still very much an active threat and we continue to pray for all those enacted, especially the incredibly brave firefighters and first responders that are there on the ground doing these things, right?
00:56:39.000 We cannot and should not, and if it even appears that I'm doing this in any way, shape, or form, I want to make sure...
00:56:46.000 We do have to separate out, like I do when I talk about the FBI, like I do when I talk about the military.
00:56:52.000 The bureaucrats at the top, the people who make the decisions and have failed so badly in this response, that's not the same as the guys on the ground actually doing that work.
00:57:03.000 These people are heroes, and we've got to pray for them.
00:57:06.000 All of those who may have lost everything or lost loved ones, we have to get this fixed.
00:57:12.000 But we also have to make sure when my father gets in there, We're just not working to fix what's going on in California.
00:57:18.000 But we don't forget those people around the rest of the country who suffered tragedies, who suffered losses that you couldn't fathom, like North Carolina.
00:57:28.000 We spoke about it earlier.
00:57:29.000 You know, that $750 check, that ain't gonna cut it.
00:57:33.000 I have a feeling the people of California wouldn't accept it, and neither should they.
00:57:36.000 So we have to make sure we take care of...
00:57:39.000 Everyone.
00:57:40.000 So, guys, with that, I may take a couple questions.
00:57:42.000 I have a few more minutes.
00:57:45.000 Want to see, you know, what you guys are thinking.
00:57:49.000 Yes, Don Jr. praying for Dad, that he makes things better.
00:57:52.000 Agree, North Carolina is terrible, too.
00:57:53.000 Yeah, but again, you know, they don't have enough Hollywood celebrities in North Carolina to talk about these things.
00:57:59.000 We have to make sure that those people are taken care of.
00:58:03.000 There's no difference.
00:58:04.000 There are tragedies.
00:58:04.000 There's natural disasters.
00:58:06.000 These things happen.
00:58:07.000 I'd say the response from the federal government was equally disastrous on both.
00:58:15.000 But North Carolina, that was a hundred-year storm, a thousand-year storm.
00:58:21.000 I was there.
00:58:22.000 I saw rivers that were this wide flowing 30 feet deep, taking out highways and buildings that were 25, 30 feet above the waterline.
00:58:31.000 California, everyone knew about it.
00:58:35.000 They've seen it.
00:58:35.000 They've seen the conditions.
00:58:36.000 They've seen the tinderbox.
00:58:38.000 They refused to do anything as it relates to forest management.
00:58:40.000 They didn't care about the water.
00:58:42.000 They defunded $17 million out of the LAFD, the fire department's budget.
00:58:47.000 They were very worried about diversity and inclusion.
00:58:50.000 I see all these beautiful rainbow-colored fire hydrants.
00:58:53.000 That was their focus.
00:58:55.000 There's a difference.
00:58:56.000 There is a difference.
00:58:57.000 And hopefully, the people who made those decisions that failed their constituency so badly, hopefully, they face some sort of accountability.
00:59:05.000 People will just finally get it.
00:59:09.000 You hate to have to see this kind of tragedy happen for people to understand just how incompetent their leadership is, but perhaps that's what it takes.
00:59:18.000 So how can you rebuild if it takes 10 years to pull a permit?
00:59:22.000 Left-wing donors will try to buy them off.
00:59:26.000 Yeah, I think that's right.
00:59:27.000 I mean, you can't.
00:59:28.000 And the reality right now is even if you could, there's probably not enough construction crews to rebuild these things.
00:59:33.000 You're seeing entire cities just gone, right?
00:59:34.000 It's not like you build a home here and a home there and a home over there.
00:59:37.000 I mean, you have to build thousands and thousands of acres of lost property.
00:59:42.000 I don't think there's enough contractors in the country to handle that.
00:59:47.000 You add in the bureaucratic red tape of California, I'm sure.
00:59:51.000 They say, we're going to make sure we do this with equity or whatever the hell else they throw in there.
00:59:55.000 I'm sure there will still be plenty of woke red tape in all of this mix.
01:00:00.000 And so, I don't know.
01:00:02.000 It makes me believe what I said a few minutes ago, which is, hey, some big guy, whether it's BlackRock or something like that, is going to come in there, they're going to buy all the real estate, and they're going to put up tenement housing.
01:00:15.000 Make sure that we get good waterfront housing for...
01:00:18.000 And, you know, they'll write a small check to those who lost everything to get the hell out, and they're going to permanently transform California into a dystopian hell.
01:00:28.000 I don't know.
01:00:29.000 I don't think it's conspiratorial, frankly, even to assume that, because you just look at the facts.
01:00:35.000 You look at everything else they've done.
01:00:38.000 It doesn't work.
01:00:39.000 And then...
01:00:40.000 You know, I'm sure they'll try to use the federal government to buy out those people.
01:00:43.000 And, you know, again, it doesn't matter if you lost everything in North Carolina.
01:00:46.000 It's California.
01:00:46.000 The Democrats will control it.
01:00:47.000 They'll manipulate it better.
01:00:48.000 The mainstream media will say you have to do everything for them.
01:00:51.000 You know, nothing for the people of Maui, nothing for the people of North Carolina.
01:00:54.000 They're on their own.
01:00:55.000 But, you know, California, it's just sad.
01:01:00.000 How is Trump National LA doing?
01:01:02.000 Would you ever want to build property in Malibu?
01:01:05.000 Trump, National LA, we're in Rancho Palos Verdes.
01:01:08.000 You've been okay so far.
01:01:10.000 But we understand what it's like dealing with the California Coastal Commission and these sort of agencies that just put up endless roadblocks.
01:01:20.000 Insanity after insanity.
01:01:23.000 You can't believe what people have to put up.
01:01:24.000 Hopefully they can get rid of some of that red tape.
01:01:26.000 I don't see it happening.
01:01:29.000 Still a one-party state.
01:01:32.000 You know, they can say they're going to get rid of some of it, but if you get rid of 80% of it, the remaining 20 is still probably draconian.
01:01:39.000 It is still probably too much.
01:01:41.000 So would I ever want to build property in Malibu?
01:01:43.000 You know, I think I'd have a hard time doing that.
01:01:45.000 I think we used to build in some of the more liberal cities in this country.
01:01:49.000 Once we put an R next to our name, that was over.
01:01:52.000 So, you know, I don't see that happening anytime soon.
01:01:56.000 Perhaps they need competent developers.
01:01:59.000 But honestly, at this point for us, even if you had a great opportunity and even if it was good for the people and if it was right, it's probably not even worth looking at because they'd say we're profiteering from other people's pain.
01:02:12.000 Only their cohorts and other Democrat donors will jump in there.
01:02:16.000 They'll profit a lot from other people's pain and we'll be watching that play out.
01:02:20.000 So probably not worth getting involved.
01:02:24.000 In the mix at all.
01:02:27.000 Did I stop cracking my knuckles yet?
01:02:30.000 No, it's something I do all the time.
01:02:31.000 I have not stopped that yet.
01:02:37.000 That's never going to stop.
01:02:38.000 It's hard for firefighters to fight fires with battery-powered chainsaws.
01:02:43.000 Listen, I'll run a battery-powered chainsaw for certain things, and it's great.
01:02:47.000 If you have power, I usually leave one in my truck or something like that because I can recharge it on the go.
01:02:52.000 I have four or five batteries, but if you're doing it full-time, day in, day out, you're cutting your large diameter trees, a small battery-powered chainsaw is probably not going to do that.
01:03:01.000 We saw that in North Carolina.
01:03:03.000 They sent shipments of battery-powered chainsaws.
01:03:05.000 The only problem is they had no power.
01:03:08.000 It's really hard to charge a battery-operated machine of any sorts if you have no actual power.
01:03:17.000 That's when some of the insanity really comes to mind.
01:03:20.000 I don't know what exactly they're doing with California and that one, because it seems like at least they have powers or generators or enough to do this.
01:03:27.000 In North Carolina, they didn't, and it didn't stop them from sending it because, well, because we know why.
01:03:34.000 How can we stop foreign bad actors like the CCP from buying the land?
01:03:38.000 Can there be an executive order to stop this?
01:03:41.000 I'm sure there can be an executive order to stop some of those things, but the reality is, I think we want to, like we talked about with Senator Tubbleville as it relates to the men playing in women's sports and stuff like that, I think we actually just want to codify that into law.
01:03:56.000 We want common sense to be there.
01:03:58.000 Again, you don't want to take advantage of these dire times to try to get common sense, but maybe we have to.
01:04:07.000 Maybe the pendulum is corrected so far that People will finally say, okay, we actually just have to do these things.
01:04:13.000 So when China's buying up all this farmland, when they already control all our antibiotics supply, when they're going to control or want to control Taiwan, which controls all the microchips and microprocessors, that doesn't work.
01:04:26.000 So we ought to actually not just do that through executive order.
01:04:28.000 Maybe we start the process where you can't buy it through sort of these phony shell entities so that...
01:04:33.000 Oh, yeah, no, it's a Delaware entity that owns it, but it's owned by the CCP. It all happens to be near our military bases so they can spy on us.
01:04:41.000 That doesn't work.
01:04:42.000 We have to get aggressive.
01:04:44.000 Maybe we started off with executive orders, but the reality is I think we have to codify that into law and just stop it from happening all together.
01:04:53.000 So, guys, with that, we have a great week.
01:04:56.000 I'm going to be probably trying to do some random shows, maybe not.
01:05:00.000 On time, with everything going on around the inauguration on Monday, it's going to be pretty insane.
01:05:04.000 But I know you're going to want to see that, even if it's just me yakking about what I'm seeing or what I'm able to capture with my phone along the way.
01:05:14.000 But stay tuned.
