00:06:23.000 Hey guys, welcome to another huge episode of Triggered.
00:06:26.000 I hope everyone's doing well.
00:06:28.000 This is a special Friday edition of the show.
00:06:31.000 I've been crazy this week, traveled, you know, had to go in and out all over the world.
00:06:36.000 So, doing my best to hop on when I can.
00:06:39.000 So, thanks for tuning in.
00:06:40.000 Sorry I couldn't keep the normal sort of Monday, Thursday schedule.
00:06:43.000 It's just been a little bit wild.
00:06:45.000 So, we'll try Friday.
00:06:45.000 So, and, you know, let's see what happens.
00:06:47.000 But as busy as I am, it doesn't seem to even compare.
00:06:53.000 To how busy the rest of the world must be trying to keep up with your favorite president.
00:06:58.000 Because we're seeing the same thing everywhere right now.
00:07:01.000 Whether it's on jobs, on foreign policy, on the border, we're seeing a striking shift.
00:07:08.000 Because for years, Washington treated normal Americans like they were the problem, right?
00:07:13.000 That's what they told you all the time.
00:07:14.000 I mean, they'd work for themselves and they were for their special interests.
00:07:17.000 You know, you were just nuisances that you wanted, I don't know, something out of your taxpayer dollars and that kind of stuff.
00:07:22.000 But now we're looking at government and saying, How do we make this work for the people who actually make this country great, for the people who pay for all of this stuff with their taxpayer dollars to make it all happen?
00:07:35.000 And at the exact same time, Democrats, doing what they always do, are doing the opposite breaking agencies, weaponizing race, trying to shut down border security, and then acting shocked, just totally in disbelief, when Americans notice the damage that the Democrats have done to this country forever.
00:07:58.000 So we're going to get into all Of the latest.

00:08:32.000 I try to put in the work so we can get it out there.
00:08:35.000 You guys need to help.

00:08:45.000 And of course, don't forget about our brave sponsors for having the guts to support this program, okay?
00:08:52.000 We say it all the time, but it's always true.
00:08:55.000 It's not easy to support a show like this, to go against the grain, to take on the nonsense and the left, support those who share your values.
00:09:03.000 And guys, we have another familiar face sponsoring the show now.
00:09:08.000 Gold Co.
00:09:09.000 Gold just surged past $5,000 an ounce.
00:09:12.000 Silver blew past $100.
00:09:14.000 And the U.S. just added silver to the critical mineral list.
00:09:18.000 Meaning, it's now considered crucial for American security and economic survival.
00:09:23.000 This isn't speculation, this is real.
00:09:26.000 That's why I've renewed my partnership with the number one rated gold company, Gold Co. A rated by the BBB, the Better Business Bureau, and they've helped Americans place over $3 billion in gold and silver.
00:09:41.000 So, visit donjrgold.com, D O N J R Gold.com to get a free 2026 gold and silver kit.

00:09:59.000 Again, that's donjrgold.com.
00:10:02.000 Do it now, educate yourself.
00:10:04.000 What do you have to lose?
00:10:06.000 Sponsors like All Family Pharmacy.
00:10:09.000 After everything we saw during COVID and the cover up, Saying we have trust issues with the so called experts is probably an understatement, guys.
00:10:18.000 They used pressure, lies, red tape to block access to medications that were once easy to get.
00:10:26.000 That can't happen again.
00:10:28.000 And with all family pharmacy, it won't.
00:10:31.000 All family pharmacy is redefining healthcare.
00:10:33.000 No waiting rooms, no delays, no insurance games.
00:10:37.000 Just direct access to over 200 trusted medications, including ivermectin, hydroxychloroquine, antibiotics, emergency kits, and so much more.
00:10:47.000 You can customize your order, have it shipped straight to your door.
00:10:51.000 So, go to allfamilypharmacy.comslash D O N J R, Don Jr., allfamilypharmacy.comslash Don Jr., and use promo code Don Jr20, D O N J R 20, for 20% off of your first order.
00:11:07.000 Again, that's allfamilypharmacy.comslash Don Jr., or use promo code Don Jr20 for 20% off at checkout.
00:11:17.000 Let's get into it.
00:11:18.000 And I want to start with a concept that I know will sound shocking.
00:11:22.000 Actually, using our government to negotiate.
00:11:25.000 For Americans instead of negotiating against them. 0.78
00:11:28.000 I know, I know. 1.00
00:11:29.000 Out of control, guys.
00:11:31.000 Who would have thought to do something like that?
00:11:34.000 A government that asks who benefits, who pays, who gets saved, and ultimately who gets exposed.
00:11:41.000 Because for decades, the deal was always good for somebody that was working against America's interests.
00:11:50.000 It was great for China, it was incredible for the NGOs, it was awesome for the donor class, and it was really good for the consultants.
00:11:57.000 But for the worker?
00:11:59.000 For the common sense person?
00:12:02.000 For the family trying to keep a job and book a flight and pay bills and not ultimately get crushed by the latest genius idea from Washington that, again, only served the people mentioned above, not the average American?
00:12:16.000 It wasn't working for them.
00:12:16.000 Not so much, man.
00:12:19.000 And that's what's changing.
00:12:20.000 Because yesterday, your favorite president announced something that actually matters for Americans trying to build wealth low cost IRA counts for every American.
00:12:30.000 Check this out.
00:12:31.000 Beginning at the start of next year, every American will be able to go to TrumpIRA.gov and open a new low-cost IRA account.
00:12:40.000 You'll then be able to access the same type of retirement accounts that federal employees enjoy through the Thrift Savings Plans, which are incredible.
00:12:51.000 As part of the Federal Savers Match Program, low-income Americans will be eligible to receive up to $1,000 per year in matching funds deposited directly into their accounts.
00:13:03.000 It's a great thing.
00:13:05.000 For millions of Americans who lack employer-sponsored plans, this will be really revolutionary because they'll be covered.
00:13:12.000 Nobody thought that was possible.
00:13:14.000 For example, if a 25-year-old who is eligible for a Sabre's Match program invests just $165 a month under the matching federal contributions, they will have an estimated $465,000 in their account by the time they're 65 years old.
00:13:33.000 In other words, they'll be rich.
00:13:36.000 And there's something awfully nice about that.
00:13:38.000 But this is only the first step.
00:13:41.000 I was talking to Kevin Hassett a little while ago, and the people standing right behind me, we're going to take it to the next level.
00:13:49.000 And the next level, Kevin, you're going to mention something, but the next level will be necessary to have congressional approval.
00:13:56.000 What you just heard, we don't need congressional approval.
00:14:01.000 And it'll never be terminated, because the terminated, if somebody else is in office, the terminated, you'd have to take that money away.
00:14:09.000 You'd have to really take away something that's so positive.
00:14:12.000 I don't think any politician would do it.
00:14:14.000 Every American being able to open a low cost IRA account, getting access to the same kind of retirement tools that federal employees enjoy, creating a clear roadmap to plan for the future, that's a big deal.
00:14:28.000 That matters.
00:14:29.000 Let the worker build wealth.
00:14:32.000 Let the young family actually invest.
00:14:35.000 Let them have those same opportunities.
00:14:37.000 That's not complicated, guys.
00:14:39.000 That's not some 900 page socialist plan.
00:14:43.000 That's just letting Americans keep more control over their own future.
00:14:48.000 We've seen the same sort of thing with Trump RX, with the Trump Accounts for Kids, creating real platforms and vehicles to save and create wealth.
00:15:01.000 And then invest that money to ultimately let it grow even further.
00:15:07.000 And that's why the left is finding any which way they can to hate it.
00:15:13.000 Because the left doesn't want independent Americans, they want dependent Americans.
00:15:18.000 Dependent on the program, dependent on the subsidy, dependent on the activist group, dependent on the politicians who broke everything in the first place.
00:15:27.000 They want dependence because without dependence, there's no reason to vote for Democrats.
00:15:33.000 Not voting for the handouts and the nonsense program because if you're independent, you realize they're inefficient, wasteful, as we've seen in most cases, fraudulent.
00:15:43.000 My father is saying the opposite of what the Democrats want.
00:15:47.000 He wants you to build your own future.
00:15:49.000 Build your future.
00:15:52.000 Stop letting Washington skim off the top while telling you it's for your own good.
00:15:56.000 That's the economic contrast right there.
00:15:59.000 And by the way, this isn't just happening at home.
00:16:03.000 Look at Venezuela.
00:16:05.000 The first flight from the United States in years landed there yesterday from Miami, something that seemed pretty unimaginable, let's just say in, I don't know, December of 2025.
00:16:16.000 Here's the scene yesterday in Miami and Caracas.
00:16:20.000 Moments after touching down in Caracas, the captain of this American Airlines flight leaned out the cockpit.
00:16:25.000 To wave the Venezuelan flag, signaling the first direct arrival from the U.S. in seven years.
00:16:32.000 Passengers stopping for selfies on the stairs, descending to a crowd waiting on the tarmac.
00:16:39.000 The journey began just after 10 a.m. in Miami, where emotional passengers lined up at the gate.
00:16:45.000 The last time I was here in Venezuela was 18 years ago, and I'm very excited to go and see the family.
00:16:51.000 The flight crew opening the windows to wave the U.S. and Venezuelan flags, then taxiing through a water cannon salute.
00:16:58.000 Before takeoff, this flight, the most visible sign yet of a rapid diplomatic thaw following the ouster of Venezuela's authoritarian leader, Nicolas Maduro, in January.
00:17:09.000 Despite the uncertainty for those landing in Caracas today, seven years of grounded hopes finally coming to a historic end.
00:17:17.000 I'm taking my family back, my kids back, my grandkids back.
00:17:21.000 So it's a historic day.
00:17:22.000 That's a human story.
00:17:24.000 It's also a geopolitical story because for years, the so called experts told us that the Western Hemisphere was just something to manage.
00:17:32.000 A problem to study, a crisis to tweet about.
00:17:35.000 But now we look at the hemisphere and say, no, this is our neighborhood. 0.75
00:17:41.000 Use your leverage, use your force.
00:17:44.000 You make deals, you open doors when it helps Americans and their families.
00:17:49.000 You shut doors when criminals, cartels, and hostile regimes try to exploit us.
00:17:54.000 Pretty simple.
00:17:56.000 That's how serious countries act.
00:17:58.000 And just listen to the people in that clip.
00:18:01.000 They're not talking like think tank fellows.
00:18:04.000 They're talking like normal people who haven't been able to do something basic for years.
00:18:10.000 And the same media that spent four years pretending Joe Biden mumbling through a cue card was somehow diplomacy will barely know what to do with it because it doesn't fit their narrative.
00:18:23.000 Trump is supposed to be chaos, remember?
00:18:25.000 Except the chaos was actually the old system open borders, broken deals, dead leverage.
00:18:34.000 Americans stranded in bureaucratic nonsense while the elites congratulated themselves for being so sophisticated.
00:18:42.000 This is actually order.
00:18:44.000 It's not perfect, it's not easy, but order, and it's just the beginning.
00:18:49.000 And that brings me to DHS.
00:18:52.000 Because while Trump is trying to make the government work again, Democrats keep proving they don't care if it works at all.
00:19:01.000 Secretary Mullen laid out what the Democrat shutdown did to critical agencies.
00:19:07.000 And it's even worse than you'd expect.
00:19:10.000 Check out Mark Wayne Mullen just the other day talking about it.
00:19:13.000 What we have now is an opportunity to actually move forward.
00:19:16.000 What was taking place was tearing homeland all together from the Coast Guard all the way down to ICE and everybody in between.
00:19:25.000 This TSA, we lost almost 8% of the workforce, which is almost double what our attrition rate typically is.
00:19:32.000 Yeah, so how do you replace those people?
00:19:34.000 Well, it takes four months.
00:19:35.000 Not really.
00:19:36.000 It takes about four months to onboard people.
00:19:38.000 Just CISA, who's over, CISA, by the way, takes care of our cybersecurity.
00:19:43.000 We're down 1,100 people.
00:19:45.000 Down?
00:19:45.000 Down.
00:19:45.000 So almost a third of the workforce is no longer with us.
00:19:49.000 76 days being shut down, not being able to be operational.
00:19:52.000 People say, well, but they're getting paid.
00:19:53.000 We had the State Department paying our electricity bill.
00:19:56.000 We had DOW, Secretary Hegseth, paying our gas bill for the United States Coast Guard to operate.
00:20:04.000 We may be able to pay paychecks, but we couldn't do anything.
00:20:07.000 We had contractors walking off.
00:20:09.000 The border wall.
00:20:10.000 We have drone defense companies that we're subcontracting from that was walking off jobs because we have MOUs, Memorandum of Understanding with Law Enforcement, that's got to deliver these 11 cities that we got FIFA coming to with the World Cup that haven't been paid since February.
00:20:28.000 It was absolutely absurd, and AOC wants to sit there and say it was worth it.
00:20:33.000 We are tasked to protect the homeland.
00:20:36.000 I don't care where AOC lives or how she votes.
00:20:41.000 My job is still to protect her constituents.
00:20:43.000 And she thinks it's worth it to put their lives at danger because no other agency protects the homeland.
00:20:49.000 DHS protects the homeland, and she thinks it's worth it.
00:20:52.000 It's sad.
00:20:53.000 Just sit with that for a second, guys.
00:20:55.000 CISA down 1,100 people, almost a third of the workforce.
00:21:02.000 Contractors being pressured to walk off the border wall.
00:21:06.000 Critical security functions damaged because Democrats wanted a political stunt.
00:21:11.000 And then Hakeem Jeffries wants to sit there and act like it was all worth it.
00:21:18.000 Worth it to whom exactly?
00:21:20.000 Worth it to the border agents trying to do their jobs?
00:21:22.000 I don't think so.
00:21:24.000 Worth it to the contractors trying to secure the wall and stop fentanyl from pouring across our border and human trafficking and all those pesky little things that Democrats seem to be in favor of, not even against.
00:21:36.000 Worth it to the Americans whose cyber infrastructure is supposed to be protected?
00:21:42.000 No.
00:21:43.000 No, no, no. 0.58
00:21:45.000 It's worth it to the left wing activist class.
00:21:48.000 It was worth it to the cable news resistance crowd.
00:21:52.000 Their ratings and their clickbaits, talking about nonsense and lying, pretending it's for the good of people, preserving democracy, and the usual nonsense that they talk about that never actually ends up being about preserving anything that's real and certainly not democracy.
00:22:05.000 It was worth it to the people who think government is just a stage for their little revolutionary theater.
00:22:12.000 But that's their pattern break the agency, blame Trump, fund the NGO, import the crisis, and then lecture to you and complain about it.
00:22:25.000 Rinse and repeat over and over and over again.
00:22:31.000 That's the Democrat model.
00:22:33.000 And while we're on the subject of Democrats using the system for power, the Supreme Court handed down a major Voting Rights Act decision this week, blocking Louisiana's map and basically pouring cold water on the Democrats' map rigging system by effectively striking down majority minority House districts, finding them to be unconstitutional racial gerrymanders.
00:22:57.000 Basically, for decades, this is what happened Democrats gerrymandered congressional districts based on race.
00:23:04.000 I mean, think about that.
00:23:05.000 We're all equal unless we can figure out how to squeeze a couple more Democrat seats in Congress out of this thing. 0.87
00:23:11.000 They did this to try to manufacture more Democrat seats in the House.
00:23:16.000 It's been a key part of the Democrat machine, and they've done it very effectively for a long time, and it's why they have such disproportionate representation in Congress.
00:23:23.000 But now it appears that common sense is finally winning again.
00:23:27.000 Check this out.
00:23:29.000 Good morning. 0.98
00:23:29.000 Okay, so this at first blush here is a win for the plaintiffs who were not black plaintiffs. 0.98
00:23:34.000 They were non minority voters who challenged this decision.
00:23:38.000 These two districts that were minority majority.
00:23:41.000 Essentially, Louisiana had drawn up districts and then they were told in a legal battle that they had not represented black and minority voters sufficiently.
00:23:49.000 They went back and drew a second district.
00:23:51.000 So they had two of these minority majority districts.
00:23:54.000 Well, then non black voters sued and said this is now violating our rights on the basis of race. 0.66
00:24:00.000 So it looks like this is a six. 0.59
00:24:01.000 Three decisions.
00:24:02.000 There is one concurrence here, but it looks like the dissent sticks together with Justices Kagan, Sotomayor, and Jackson.
00:24:10.000 But here's what the majority says.
00:24:11.000 They say, in some, because the Voting Rights Act did not require Louisiana to create an additional majority minority district, no compelling interest justified the state's use of race in creating SB 8.
00:24:23.000 That was those two new districts.
00:24:25.000 That map is an unconstitutional gerrymander, and its use would violate the plaintiff's constitutional rights.
00:24:31.000 Now, this opinion is almost 100.
00:24:33.000 Pages long.
00:24:34.000 So we're going through to see if it says something more broadly about the Voting Rights Act.
00:24:38.000 That had been the fear on the left that somehow this decision, if it was favorable for those challenging these maps, that it would somehow do a big chunk out of the Voting Rights Act.
00:24:47.000 Haven't gotten to language that suggests that yet.
00:24:49.000 It sounds like this decision is primarily about what happened in Louisiana.
00:24:54.000 So we'll keep digging through this.
00:24:55.000 But for right now, it's a win for those who were challenging these two minority majority districts.
00:25:00.000 Now, as we read through this and figure out the broader implications, there were 20 plus districts across the country That would have potentially lined up with this decision.
00:25:10.000 They could be open to challenges that they were drawn on the basis of race or that it was the primary factor that was used in drawing those districts.
00:25:17.000 Most of those are throughout the South.
00:25:18.000 So we'll look to see if there's enough sweeping language in this particular decision that may have a domino effect on some 20 other districts.
00:25:26.000 Could be huge for the midterms.
00:25:28.000 We'll continue to read through.
00:25:30.000 Now, we're going to watch how the legal fallout develops here because the left is already melting down and every state is going to read the decision carefully.
00:25:40.000 And it may.
00:25:41.000 Mean rewriting maps so they actually make sense.
00:25:44.000 Right now, one of these maps where it's like, here's a district that's conservative.
00:25:47.000 Let's combine it with something in this other part of the state.
00:25:49.000 We'll have a little thin 100 yard line for 50 miles here to connect it there so that we can keep a Democrat seat representing basically a conservative area. 0.92
00:25:59.000 But they're going to try to do it.
00:26:00.000 They're going to try to make sure they don't look like a bunch of zigzagging puzzle pieces across a state.
00:26:06.000 For example, just look at places like Illinois and others.
00:26:13.000 Insane maps.
00:26:15.000 But the principle is pretty simple.
00:26:17.000 You can't spend decades trying to invoke the civil rights movement.
00:26:21.000 But then build your entire political machine around sorting voters by race. 0.54
00:26:27.000 And by the way, some of the biggest proponents of this racial gerrymandering, you guessed it, folks, was the SPLC, the Southern Poverty Law Center, who was also recently, we learned, funding the KKK.
00:26:42.000 Funny how that works.
00:26:44.000 You can't say the Constitution is sacred when it helps you and then treat it like it's an obstacle when it stops your map makers.
00:26:52.000 You can't call everything sacred.
00:26:54.000 Democracy, when what you really mean is Democrats getting a guaranteed seat.
00:27:00.000 That's the hustle.
00:27:01.000 That's the grift.
00:27:02.000 And it's been going on for far too long.
00:27:05.000 They dress it up in civil rights language, but the goal is ultimately power. 0.53
00:27:09.000 That's it.
00:27:10.000 And by the way, Democrats are running some nut for Senate in Maine who literally had a Nazi tattoo on his chest, right?
00:27:19.000 They don't talk about that because, you know, it's just inconvenient for them at the time, but, you know, if they can win and keep power, none of it matters.
00:27:26.000 It's all theatrics.
00:27:28.000 Aren't Democrats supposed to be outraged about this one?
00:27:32.000 Isn't this their obsession?
00:27:35.000 If it was a conservative, what would they be doing every day?
00:27:38.000 All day long, 24 7, 365.
00:27:43.000 Well, Senator Chris Van Hollen, the same guy, by the way, who had the margarita with the MS 13 illegal alien gang member room, you know, great people, great people.
00:27:53.000 Well, anyway, he was asked about Graham Planter's Nazi tattoo and said, and I quote, He just went through a really rough period.
00:28:03.000 Oh, oh. 0.66
00:28:05.000 I mean, he didn't get rid of that, too.
00:28:06.000 He still has the tattoo, right?
00:28:08.000 I guess it's like, I don't know.
00:28:10.000 It doesn't seem like a really rough period.
00:28:12.000 It just seems like maybe he's a really bad guy.
00:28:14.000 But, you know, you could forget all that when, again, it's about power.
00:28:19.000 The dude hasn't had a Nazi tattoo.
00:28:21.000 I mean, let's be clear about what's going on here.
00:28:22.000 I mean, is that, how do you view that?
00:28:24.000 I mean, that seems to be at least somewhat disqualifying and traditional.
00:28:29.000 Certainly, historically.
00:28:30.000 So, look, I mean, let's take a couple issues and Including the comments he's made in the past.
00:28:35.000 I mean, he's been very clear that he went into combat on behalf of the United States.
00:28:40.000 He went through a really rough period, PTSD type period.
00:28:45.000 And he has himself said there are lots of things he's done and said that he completely regrets.
00:28:52.000 And I do believe people should have second chances and that people can learn from their mistakes.
00:28:59.000 And I think he's been doing that.
00:29:01.000 Democrats call you a Nazi if you want border security or if you want merit based hiring.
00:29:06.000 When one of their own has a literal Nazi tattoo, not a big deal.
00:29:11.000 It was just a phase.
00:29:12.000 It's part of growing up, I guess.
00:29:15.000 And if you're looking at the Democrats today in Congress, it probably is.
00:29:18.000 Just a phase.
00:29:20.000 Or we'll pretend it's a phase until we have power, and then it doesn't really matter.
00:29:25.000 You can't make it up anymore. 0.80
00:29:27.000 Democrats use race as a map making tool, race as a funding tool, race as a hiring tool, race as a censorship tool, and race as a division tool.
00:29:38.000 And the second anyone says, I don't know, maybe America should stop organizing everything by skin color, just leave skin color out, the left screams like you committed a hate crime.
00:29:52.000 But at the same time, the SPLC was funding the KKK, the Ku Klux Klan, okay?
00:29:59.000 Making sure that they really existed, making sure that they could come up and create an enemy.
00:30:03.000 So they created the enemy that they were fighting against, which sounds pretty much exactly like everything else in Democrat.
00:30:08.000 Party politics.
00:30:10.000 And one of their star Senate candidates apparently used to very much embrace the Nazi worldview.
00:30:18.000 How exactly are Democrats going to turn that circle into a square?
00:30:24.000 I don't know how they do it, but you can't make it make sense.
00:30:29.000 No one's asking about it in the mainstream media.
00:30:31.000 Again, it's why we ask you to share these things so people actually understand what's going on because, you know, no one over at CNN is going to talk about the insanity of this or MSDNC or, you know, whatever they call it now and yada, yada, yada.
00:30:44.000 And as I've said, one side is trying to rebuild the country around citizens.
00:30:49.000 The other side is still stuck in the same old racket.
00:30:54.000 Divide people, sort people, scare people, depend on those in power.
00:31:00.000 Dependence is everything.
00:31:02.000 That's their whole game.
00:31:03.000 If you're dependent, you're probably a Democrat voter.
00:31:06.000 It's why they wanted to import people who can't read and can't take care of themselves and are going to burn through a system because as long as everyone's dependent on big government, The Democrats probably will play a major role.
00:31:19.000 And we're seeing every day citizens finally standing up to it from coast to coast.
00:31:25.000 Spencer Pratt is running for mayor of Los Angeles, and his latest ad may be one of the best we've ever seen.
00:31:32.000 This is where Mayor Bass lives.
00:31:34.000 You notice something?
00:31:35.000 Or here, where Nithya Rahman's $3 million mansion sits. 1.00
00:31:38.000 They don't have to live in the mess they've created where you live. 0.98
00:31:44.000 This is where I live.
00:31:46.000 They let my home burn down.
00:31:47.000 I know what the consequences of failed leadership are.
00:31:50.000 That's why I'm running for mayor.
00:31:52.000 For my sons and the rest of us, Angelenos, that want to stop these corrupt politicians from destroying our city, we are going to get the golden age of Los Angeles back.
00:32:02.000 They really are not like us.
00:32:05.000 Left wing leaders don't have to live under the disasters they create.
00:32:12.000 You do.
00:32:13.000 Okay?
00:32:14.000 It's why a guy like Spencer Pratt can actually be doing pretty well in L.A., a very, very, very, very left leaning city.
00:32:22.000 Because people are finally starting to understand.
00:32:26.000 Democrats don't answer to the same consequences.
00:32:30.000 And then ultimately, it's why this moment really matters.
00:32:34.000 Because we're not just trying to change politics, we're changing the standard, we're changing the playbook, we're changing the norms, because the norms, the playbook, and the standards have failed us miserably.
00:32:49.000 And unless we change them drastically, nothing is ever really going to change.
00:32:55.000 The question is not whether something makes Washington feel important.
00:32:59.000 The question is whether it actually helps Americans.
00:33:03.000 Does it save jobs?
00:33:05.000 Does it build wealth?
00:33:07.000 Does it secure the country?
00:33:09.000 Does it bring families together?
00:33:11.000 Does it make the United States stronger?
00:33:14.000 If yes, then do it.
00:33:17.000 If no, stop funding it, stop defending it, and stop letting the people who broke everything pretend they're the experts.
00:33:29.000 On one side, you have a president using leverage again.
00:33:33.000 Jobs, retirement, travel, border, diplomacy, all pointed back at the American citizen.
00:33:40.000 On the other side, you have Democrats breaking DHS, radicalizing elections, and treating government like a machine for activists instead of a tool for and of the people.
00:33:54.000 One side builds, the other side breaks.
00:33:58.000 One side negotiates, the other side lectures.
00:34:02.000 One side asks if it's a good deal for Americans.
00:34:05.000 The other side asks if it helps keep them in power and keeps the money flowing to their peers and their activist groups.
00:34:15.000 And after everything this country has been through, that's not a small difference, guys.
00:34:22.000 That's the whole ballgame.
