00:09:07.000So we're now in day 41, guys, of the DHS shutdown, and Democrats are hell-bent on inflicting as much pain as possible on American travelers.
00:09:17.000Just days ago at George Bush Airport in Houston, multiple medical emergencies in the TSA security lines occurred.
00:09:24.000A young woman needed medical attention, and then a 73-year-old man collapsed, passed out, right there in the line.
00:09:32.000Turns out it was heat exhaustion for standing in those lines for hours.
00:09:38.000This is what Democrats are doing to the American people.
00:09:41.000Nearly 500 TSA officers have quit since the shutdown started.
00:09:46.000Call out rates are above 40% at some airports.
00:09:50.000The TSA's acting administrator is warning that airports may have to close, all because of Democrat destruction.
00:10:34.000Hakeem Jeffries came right out and said it.
00:10:38.000Democrats won't provide the votes to fund DHS unless they get a guarantee that ICE agents won't show up at polling places to stop illegal aliens from voting.
00:11:01.000And yet, they're going to shut down an entire administration if TSA shows up at places to stop illegal aliens from voting when it doesn't actually ever happen.
00:11:16.000People, it's the reason why we are in a DHS shutdown right now because Republicans have refused to agree to the type of bold, transformative, meaningful, and dramatic reforms we are demanding in order for the Department of Homeland Security funding bill to move forward.
00:11:35.000And I won't go through all of the demands, much of which we've talked about repeatedly in the public, but one of those demands is keep ICE out of sensitive locations.
00:11:46.000And we've defined that as schools, houses of worship, hospitals, and polling sites.
00:11:54.000We want an explicit prohibition that ICE can go nowhere near any polling sites in the United States of America.
00:13:17.000So, the very agency Democrats are trying to defund is the one actually helping to solve the problem that Democrats create.
00:13:26.000You can't write better irony than that.
00:13:31.000But Democrats, they appear to have one mission, which is to protect illegal alien criminals, even violent murderers.
00:13:40.000In Chicago, 18-year-old Sheridan Gorman, Loyola University Chicago freshman, walking with her friends along Lake Michigan at 1 a.m. when an illegal hiding behind a lighthouse jumped out and shot her in the head.
00:13:57.000The suspect, Jose Medina, a Venezuelan illegal alien who was caught at the border and released by the Biden administration, who was then housed in a Chicago city-owned shelter, paid for by your tax dollars, murdered this girl.
00:14:14.000And if that isn't sickening enough, it gets more insane.
00:14:17.000The Loyola University student newspaper, Sheridan's own school paper, published a story about her murder.
00:14:25.000And they referred to the suspect as an illegal immigrant because, you know, that's what he is.
00:14:54.000I think it's okay to be a little insensitive to a freaking illegal immigrant murderer who just shot a great young, promising mind, a freshman female student at Loyola.
00:15:11.000This is what the left has done to our institutions.
00:15:14.000They have so thoroughly infected our universities, our media, our culture, that our student newspaper is more concerned about the feelings of a murder suspect than the life of their dead classmate.
00:15:29.000And guys, it gets even worse because a far-left lunatic in Chicago, an elected alderwoman for the city, she's blaming the victim, saying she might have startled, might have startled the illegal alien.
00:15:45.000I mean, you know, she's walking along with some friends at home.
00:15:47.000He's hiding behind a lighthouse, obviously armed, probably not legally.
00:15:51.000She might have startled him, which caused him to shoot her in the head.
00:17:02.000Because if we turn it off, even though we know we're turning it off because it's happening, you know, we can pretend that it's not happening anymore.

00:17:13.000Every time we turn around, it's just more and more fraud scandals in our state.
00:17:19.000Today, in the fraud committee, the Department of Human Services testified that they haven't been tracking the IP addresses of money that's being literally flown out of our state and where it's going.
00:17:33.000They did turn on that reporting for two weeks and they found that, yes, a lot of those IP addresses were tied to overseas computers.
00:17:43.000And then they quickly shut it off after just two weeks of seeing where this money is actually going.
00:17:52.000DHS billed or paid or paid these daycares through, I believe it was the MEC squared billing system.
00:18:03.000And we discovered when we wanted to find out who was billing and where they were billing from, that the MEC squared system was not designed to include IP numbers.
00:18:33.000So that told us we weren't able to tell who was billing, when they were billing, or where they were billing from.
00:18:41.000So we went to, Jay and I went to Minut, the state's IT department, and we said, look, we had this, this is the email that was part of I just read you.
00:20:33.000We're seeing it with their opposition to the Save America Act.
00:20:37.000The good news is the Vance-led anti-fraud task force, well, they just suspended 70 hospice and some healthcare providers in Los Angeles that were flagged as high risk for fraud.
00:20:49.000This is the same kind of operation we saw with Feeding Our Future in Minnesota.
00:20:53.000And we must root out the fraudsters who steal from programs meant to help the most vulnerable.
00:21:00.000Billions of dollars stolen from Medicare, stolen from hospice patients, stolen from people who are dying.
00:21:07.000And this administration is now going after every single one of them.
00:21:12.000And speaking of fraud, and honestly, this might be the biggest one of all.
00:21:18.000Just the news broke a story overnight that is absolutely staggering.
00:21:22.000U.S. intelligence, the NSA, intercepted Ukrainian government communications discussing a plot to take hundreds of millions of American tax dollars earmarked for clean energy projects in the Ukraine and route them back to the United States.
00:21:50.000Your tax dollars sent to Ukraine for infrastructure or whatever else it is, right?
00:21:54.000You know, they're probably stealing it all there anyway, but you know, infrastructure, then allegedly funneled through USAID subcontractors designed to make the money near impossible to track, were discussed being used to send right back to the Democrat Party and Joe Biden's campaign.
00:22:14.000The declassified report says the Ukrainian government and U.S. government personnel through USAID and Kiev developed a plan where 90%, 90% of the allocated funds would go to the DNC, the Democrat National Committee.
00:22:30.000They set up fake infrastructure projects that they knew would eventually be disapproved.
00:22:35.000But by then, the money would have already been spent and impossible to return.
00:22:40.000There's no evidence the Biden administration ever investigated it.
00:22:48.000So add this to the hospice fraud in LA, the daycares in Minnesota, and now Ukraine.
00:22:54.000There is fraud everywhere, and it's got to stop.
00:22:58.000We sent over $100 billion to Ukraine, and now we're finding out that Ukrainian officials were literally plotting to send that money back to the Democratic Party.

00:24:36.000Senator, can you, you know, to start, Democrats are holding, you know, DHS and TSA funding hostage because they want to protect illegal aliens.
00:24:44.000Some of them literally said that's the people that they're looking to protect most, literally on TV.
00:26:45.000So it doesn't actually accomplish anything, but it seems that they're willing to play games with the American people so long as they can control the narrative and make it seem like it's Republicans, meaning they don't mind that Americans suffer as long as they don't realize it's Democrats that are making them suffer.
00:27:01.000They're okay if they think it's Republicans.
00:27:04.000Yeah, remember, and think about this for all these poor TSA agents.
00:27:07.000This is the third time in six months they've had a shutdown, so gone without being paid.
00:27:15.000It doesn't appear the Democrats, this bothers them.
00:27:18.000They don't care that other people are not getting paid, that people are losing their houses or can't pay the rent or their cars to get repossessed, or they can't, these poor TSA agents, you know, can't take their kids on vacation or pay for sports camp or stuff like that.
00:27:31.000They just, it's like they don't care about the people that are not getting paid.
00:27:35.000They don't care about the safety of Americans.
00:27:49.000Yeah, one interesting thing I noticed is the second they said, you know, hey, we're going to have ICE sub in for TSA at a lot of these airports.
00:27:58.000It seems like in those areas, especially that had, you know, alleged heavy illegal activity, those lines cleared away pretty quickly.
00:28:05.000It's almost as though TSA is functioning for the transport of illegal aliens and they're traveling all over the country, just enjoying themselves, probably on our dollars.
00:28:17.000I mean, the second it wasn't TSA and it was now ICE, a lot of those places of the lines just went away, which leads me to believe there's a lot more illegals here than we even imagined.
00:28:26.000Yeah, I was talking to somebody that came up to see me and they said that there was no line at the airport.
00:28:31.000And they said it's the least they'd ever seen, at least number people they've ever seen at the airport.
00:28:37.000Let me tell you, your dad is doing everything he can.
00:28:41.000I mean, he just, you feel sorry for him in a lot of ways because, you know, they've always attacked him.
00:28:47.000And here he's busting his butt to protect American lives.
00:28:51.000And the Democrats just want to make his life as miserable as possible.
00:30:24.000And so at some point, we're going to have to say to ourselves, just like how we had to change the rules for nominations, we're going to say, look, if we want this country to work and take care of citizens and put Americans first, we're going to have to get rid of the filibuster.
00:30:37.000So I think that's where we're heading.
00:30:40.000I'm clearly heading that camp because this idea that they used the filibuster, which was really only to stop debate, not to stop a bill, to use the filibuster to stop any bill is crazy.
00:30:57.000And I think that's the part that most people miss.
00:30:59.000And I think the other part that we don't talk about is that the second Democrats have power again, if it behooves them, they will get rid of it in three seconds.
00:31:06.000So this notion that it's like, no, this is what it's historically, I mean, that's where we always seem to be playing a different game, right?
00:31:12.000We're playing T-ball, they're playing hardball.
00:31:14.000If we think for one second that if they wanted to get an agenda passed, that they wouldn't just do this if they actually had the regular votes, because again, it's just stopping debate, not the actual vote, they would do it in two seconds.
00:31:48.000You have to call every Republican and every Democrat senator and say the most important thing right now is to get the Save America Act passed.
00:31:58.000This is the first time in seven years that the public is engaged on something on a bipartisan basis around the country, independents, Republicans, Democrats, they want to say, you have to show an ID to vote, right?
00:32:12.000You have to prove you're an American to register to vote.
00:32:28.000The Democrat Party is run by AOC and Mamdani.
00:32:31.000Chuck Schumer jumps to their, whatever they say.
00:32:34.000He's so scared of a primary, he does whatever they tell him to do.
00:32:39.000So the only way we're going to get this done is either eventually we talk about this enough that 60 of us come together, we add it to a must-pass bill like FISA or National Defense Authorization Act, something like that, or we're going to have to force a talking filibuster or break the phil, just get rid of the filibuster.
00:32:57.000I mean, that's the only way this is going to get done.
00:32:59.000Yeah, and I think for our people, if we don't, you know, there's a demoralizing factor.
00:33:03.000How do you not get something that's 84% popular with the American people?
00:33:06.000You know, I've read now, hey, we may have the votes to get it there, yada, yada, yada.
00:33:10.000But then you have, you know, and maybe you can talk about this a little bit.
00:33:13.000You know, the people who are, you know, skeptics, I'm oftentimes one of them, just because unfortunately, I've seen it play out long enough, but that, hey, you could get it on the bill, but then the parletarian will just kind of strip it out.
00:33:24.000Can you explain that process to the American people?
00:33:26.000Because it's like, what I don't want to do is, I know guys like, like I said, you, Mike Lee, a few other, you know, Bernie Moreno, Eric Schmidt, like guys have been pushing for this.
00:33:36.000There's plenty that are wishy-washy, but there are plenty that would also be like, hey, we'll put it in there if we know that someone else will strip it out.
00:33:42.000So it can appear as though we're doing our jobs rather than actually doing our jobs, right?
00:34:09.000We could put some either character sticks with money, because that's budgetary, to try to get people, states to do the right thing, share the data, do voter IDs, stuff like that.
00:34:19.000But the idea that what we want to get with the Save America Act, that you have to use an ID like we do in Florida, that it would be very difficult to do because the parliamentarian will say that's policy.
00:34:42.000And Mike Lee, neither of us believe you can get it done through reconciliation.
00:34:46.000Yeah, because it seems like even kicking it back to the states, the states that don't require our leftist way blue, insane states, they're the only states that Kamala Harris even remotely performed well in.
00:34:59.000You know, I don't think there's any amount of money that you could give them that would effectively try to tell them to eliminate this fraud.
00:35:07.000I think they're much more content with the fraud and the power.
00:35:10.000And if it meant, again, making their people suffer because they're not getting money for schools or whatever it may be, I think they'd be fine with that.
00:35:18.000Well, Don, on top of that, we send money to these schools, I say these states, and then don't follow up to see how they spend it.
00:35:24.000Like I'm doing an investigation of the Pacific Palisades fire out in California that Gavin Newsom didn't do his job.
00:35:59.000I mean, CBS News even covered the hospice care issue out in California because that was so egregious.
00:36:04.000But again, that was only discovered or let's say highlighted because a 20-something-year-old journalist, Nick Shirley, went out there and actually caught these people all on video driving luxury sports cars, showing up to a facility with no hospice care and 87 alleged facilities in one building.
00:36:22.000It's a little bit insane, but how do you make that federal so that the states, again, just can't say, oh, yeah, yeah, sure, we'll monitor it.
00:36:27.000You know, they're not going to monitor it because they're seemingly in almost, you know, there's no other plausible explanation other than they're in on the kickback scheme.
00:36:35.000And I know you and I have even had these conversations in person.
00:36:38.000How is it that in a deep red state, a Republican that's up by 30 points still doesn't raise more money than the Democrat counterparty, you know, in a deep red state?
00:36:48.000And it's, it's clearly because this fraud scheme has been kicking back money to the Democrat fundraising apparatus for a decade.
00:36:54.000So I did a letter to Vice President Vance on the Pacific Palisades fire.
00:37:04.000I know our state, our U.S. attorneys are looking at it, but we're going to have to, it seems like every federal program is full of fraud because we don't put enough resources in to counteract it.
00:37:15.000And we don't have standards enough to do it.
00:37:19.000You would never spend your business money this way.
00:38:17.000It's got to be insane, the amount of fraud that's being spent.
00:38:21.000I mean, it's the GDP of other developed countries probably at this point.
00:38:26.000I just think the federal government has allowed this fraud to go on because nobody wanted to crack down on it.
00:38:31.000Nobody wants to hold anybody accountable, but your dad cares about it.
00:38:35.000The people he's put in place care about it.
00:38:37.000So I think we'll have a lot of success.
00:38:40.000Part of the reconciliation that we're going to be doing to make sure ICE is funded going forward, to make sure they have the resources, we are going to have a fraud component of that.
00:38:50.000We are going to put up resources to crack down all the fraud all across the federal government.
00:38:57.000We started our first meeting yesterday on that, and we're going to get resources to the Trump administration so they can do more.
00:39:06.000I mean, can you maybe give us a status update on what's in the Senate's calendar?
00:39:09.000What are the Senate GOP leadership things that they're prioritizing?
00:39:14.000What's the path here for the Save America Act, the timeline?
00:39:18.000This feels like a red line for a lot of voters.
00:39:20.000I just want to make sure we have the time to actually get this through before midterms.
00:39:24.000Because if I think you don't, I think you have a very demoralized voter base.
00:39:28.000And that creates all sorts of other headaches for the next few years.
00:39:32.000So, the number one thing we're doing right now is we've got to get Department of Homeland Security funded.
00:39:37.000So, that's what we're working on every day.
00:39:40.000So, number two is to make sure the Save America Act passed.
00:39:44.000We're going to do a vote today about what would they vote if just for what about just ID, just require ID.
00:39:50.000So, break down the pieces of the Save America Act.
00:39:52.000So, that's one of the votes we're going to take today to see if we can start getting pieces of it done as we continue to focus on trying to get the whole thing done.
00:40:03.000And then we've got to make sure we give your dad the resources to make sure that we have the strongest military in the world and we have all the resources we need to make sure he finishes the job in Iran.
00:40:13.000So, we'll be, you know, we don't know the exact number.
00:40:16.000There's been conversations about numbers of what he'll need in a supplemental, but like, here's what I'm going to do: I'm going to fight to make sure everybody in the federal government gets paid.
00:42:03.000So, I mean, you have, you have, in my state, what your dad's doing with regard to Venezuela, people are so optimistic, right?
00:42:12.000And the Cubans in Florida, they're so optimistic.
00:42:16.000They're really optimistic that finally their families are going to have an opportunity to live a dream, that they could build a business, things like that.
00:42:24.000So, there's a lot of optimism in Florida about what your dad's done in Latin America.
00:42:27.000So, you should be very proud of him because what he's willing to do is what other people were not willing to do: move the embassy in Israel.

00:42:38.000You know, getting rid of the drugs that are coming into the country, killing our kids and our grandkids.

00:42:51.000How would you assess the phases and the plans in place for Venezuela?
00:42:56.000You represent, again, one of the largest Venezuelan-American and Cuban-American communities in the country.
00:43:02.000What are they telling you about the directions things are heading down there?
00:43:05.000I know they're thrilled to get rid of Maduro.
00:43:08.000I'm sure Cubans wouldn't mind a democratic regime there as opposed to a socialist communist regime.
00:43:16.000But what are they telling you about the things that are how the direction is going actually in Venezuela right now?
00:43:22.000So I just met with Maria Corner-Machado last week.
00:44:32.000I think, and again, Cuba, sort of the next frontier.
00:44:34.000You had mentioned, you know, Code Pink, a bunch of left-wing influencers go down there, stay at one of the nicest hotels while the rest of the country is in a blackout.
00:45:16.000So it's just, it's funded by our enemies.
00:45:21.000So whatever your dad does, they're going to say it's bad.
00:45:26.000I tell them to their face, I saw him, it's disgusting what you guys did to go to Cuba and support the government, stay at a four-star hotel, take electricity from poor people.

00:45:58.000You know, I know you've been out, again, in the Pacific Palisades supporting the fire victims and we're uncovering even more evidence of Karen Bass and the Gavin Newsome cover-ups there.

00:46:14.000Because again, beyond the hospice care fraud, beyond the Medicare, I mean, this is a really big one.
00:46:19.000I mean, people were displaced tens of thousands.
00:46:22.000I think there was one home built in that amount of time.
00:46:25.000People still can't, it almost looks, and the conspiracy theorists are like, well, they're trying to displace you and put in tenement housing in the nicest neighborhood in the world because everyone should deserve an oceanfront view as well.
00:46:39.000And like 20 years ago, you'd be like, I don't know, that seems a little far-fetched, but it seems to be the case.
00:46:44.000I mean, people can't build back the footprint that they had on their own home.
00:46:49.000What else is going on there beyond sort of what you discussed already?
00:46:52.000So, so I'm doing an investigation with Ron Johnson, and we're trying to figure it out.
00:46:57.000We're trying to figure, number one, we've got to find out why it happened.
00:47:13.000It was put out by one of the Department of Emergency Management in Florida.
00:47:17.000And then we said, okay, so what should we do different?
00:47:19.000In Karen Bass's cases, she hired a PR firm to do it, and they made sure she did look bad, even though the fire was going on and she went to Africa.
00:47:31.000And the Palisades fire actually was the rebirth of a fire that they intentionally didn't put out.
00:47:38.000Yeah, well, they actually, my understanding is they actually gave her a copy and was like, yeah, no, this may make it more vague as it relates to me so it doesn't look badly on me, even though I mean, you're the mayor of the city.
00:47:48.000You're on a, you know, probably government paid vacation for a place that really does nothing for the people of Los Angeles, and yet they still had to whitewash whatever was in there.
00:49:20.000It's I understand that there's a process.
00:49:22.000And if you break that process, that's their cause for appeal.
00:49:26.000That's their cause to get it thrown out.
00:49:28.000That's how they venue shop it to get it in front of a judge that's not going to do anything, even if it's the right thing to do constitutionally.
00:49:34.000How do you play that out from your position in the Senate?
00:49:38.000So what we can do is we can hold hearings.
00:49:40.000So I'm on the committee, Homeland Security, that does investigations.
00:49:46.000It has a subcommittee, and both the committee and the subcommittee that chair have subpoena power.
00:49:52.000So Ron Johnson is the chair of the permits subcommittee on investigations.
00:49:57.000And then Rand Paul is the chairman of the Homeland Security Committee.
00:50:00.000So both of them, we can do investigation.
00:50:04.000Ron has been part of my investigation at the Palisades.
00:50:20.000Then my goal is that we will, if we find, right?
00:50:24.000You don't want to say somebody clearly did something until you know, but when we find people have done things wrong, we're going to be transparent and we're going to let people know.
00:50:33.000And on top of that, if it's criminal, we're going to refer it to the Department of Justice.
00:50:38.000And if there's, if there's ways to, you know, people have taken our money, like look at all the wildfire money, where did all that go?
00:50:45.000I'm going to expect these agencies to go ask for their money back from California.

00:51:47.000When Congress keeps spending money like it's going out of style and sends in bills with thousands of earmarks, how is he able to do his job?
00:51:54.000I mean, Russ Vote is at OMB trying to do this.
00:52:24.000I saw the interesting clip, the juxtaposition of Kathy Hochul, governor of my former state where I spent 44 years of my life, whatever it was, in 2020 when she was running for governor.

00:52:36.000Now she's saying, you should come back up here and just pay more taxes, please.
00:55:21.000So we've got, we just have to, you have to call every senator, Republican and Democrat, and say, you have got to get the Save America Act passed, right?
00:55:30.000You've got to make sure we give President Trump all the resources he needs to protect our countries, which means Homeland Security has got to be completely open and say, you've got to get the Trump agenda accomplished.
