00:00:00.000 My brother-in-law died suddenly, and now my sister and her kids have to sell their home.
00:00:05.120 That's why I told my husband we could not put off getting life insurance any longer.

00:00:47.320 This is a KGB officer who persecuted Christians for a living and is a thug and a murderer.
00:00:54.220 I still don't understand how anyone who has at least a triple-digit IQ can say the Russian Federation and Putin are the good guys.
00:01:06.180 What do you make of the fact that a lot of people on your side are celebrating a 21-year-old who has stolen secret documents and they're calling this person a whistleblower?
00:01:19.820 Worse than that, they're calling him a hero.
00:01:22.080 So, my fear is that they are whispering sweet nothings in his ears saying, you're the guy, you're the guy.
00:01:30.920 And he's being exploited by the establishment rhino class.
00:01:35.280 Do you think he stands a chance?
00:01:36.680 No.
00:01:36.900 And I'm sorry, Ron DeSantis doesn't have the balls or the maturity to do it.
00:01:43.720 So, for me, the reason I am voting for President Trump and supporting him, I need somebody to come back into the city and burn the corrupt shithole to the ground.
00:01:56.260 Hello and welcome to Trigonometry on the road from the USA.
00:02:12.180 I'm Francis Foster.
00:02:13.460 I'm Constantine Kissin.
00:02:14.540 And this is a show for you if you want honest conversations with fascinating people.
00:02:19.820 Our fantastic and returning guest today is an author, counter-terrorism expert and, of course, former Deputy Assistant to the President of the United States, Dr. Sebastian Gorka.
00:02:28.940 Welcome to Trigonometry.
00:02:30.400 Welcome to the Gorka headquarters.
00:02:32.620 Oh, thank you very much for having us.
00:02:34.140 We've had a couple of great days doing fun stuff, but here we are doing serious stuff.
00:02:38.760 Now, we've been friends for a long time.
00:02:40.840 We know you well.
00:02:41.580 A lot of our audience do not, and one of the things they won't know about you is the background, the backstory, your family's history that informs a lot of your views.
00:02:50.480 So, tell us who are you, Seb, and what has been your journey through life?
00:02:54.360 Well, my journey through life is informed by who my parents were and what they suffered during World War II and after World War II.
00:03:01.540 So, my parents were kids in Hungary, in Budapest, suffered under Nazi occupation at the end of the war.
00:03:10.220 And then after the war ended and communism was imposed, my father was a young college student who wanted to resist the new regime, created a secret student organization of Christian students who were patriots.
00:03:23.960 Eventually, he was betrayed by Kim Philby, one of the greatest traitors of that Cold War period, one of the Cambridge Apostles, was arrested at the age of 20, tortured, and given a life sentence in a communist jail.
00:03:40.420 He served six years, two years in a prison coal mine, two years in solitary, and then was eventually liberated by the Freedom Fighters of 1956.
00:03:48.280 He escaped to the West with a 17-year-old daughter of a fellow prison mate, who ended up as his wife and my mother, and they made it to the UK.
00:03:56.460 I was born and raised in the UK. My first language was Hungarian.
00:04:00.460 And then, when the war fell, speaking Hungarian, having a bit of a background in national security, because I served in the British TA in the Intelligence Corps,
00:04:10.940 I got a job working for the first freely elected Hungarian government in the Defense Ministry.
00:04:14.940 So I packed up, moved from London to Budapest, spent five years in the Hungarian government, met my wife in Europe, an American,
00:04:23.020 started doing some work in counterterrorism for the American government, doing a training course out of Germany after 9-11.
00:04:31.240 And then, one morning in 2008, literally, my wife and I woke up and said,
00:04:36.660 It's time to go. We've done our dues. We've tried to help Hungary get back on track, moved to the US, ended up as a professor of irregular warfare and counterterrorism for the Pentagon,
00:04:46.700 wrote a book called Defeating Jihad on the ideology of groups like al-Qaeda and ISIS, and that propelled me to the White House to work for President Trump.
00:04:54.380 Now, I do a daily radio show called America First, three hours of political commentary, and a weekly TV show for Newsmax called the Gawker Reality Check.
00:05:04.840 So that, in a very, as brief as I can make it, is my trip, and my thing is strategy, politics, conservatism, and understanding the threats to the good guys in the West.
00:05:15.440 Well, we'll talk about all of that, and when we were on Rogan last year, having come from here, actually,
00:05:20.980 I described you as the Trump attack dog, which I think is fair. You have a reputation for that.
00:05:26.100 I think the telegraph called me Trump's pit bull.
00:05:29.800 Right. That's a great way of saying it, too. And we're going to get to President Trump later,
00:05:34.500 but actually, we wanted to start by talking to you about, A, national security and foreign affairs,
00:05:42.080 but, B, also what is happening within the conservative movement and the right around those issues.
00:05:47.980 So what have you made of the way that some people have responded to Putin's invasion of Ukraine on your own team?
00:05:56.520 So before I joined the White House, I was teaching for the Marine Corps,
00:06:01.600 and at the same time, I was moonlighting as national security editor for Breitbart.
00:06:06.200 I didn't need the job. Okay, Bannon saw me speak somewhere, invited me for a chat, said,
00:06:11.520 Will you be my national security QC guy? And I said, Not really interested.
00:06:15.800 And I threw out a stupid number, and he said, Yes. And that's when you go, Oh, crap. Okay.
00:06:20.720 So the reason I was, in principle, interested in doing that, what, 10 years ago,
00:06:27.540 was because of the paucity I saw on the right of serious discussion on national security.
00:06:33.560 Because back then, you had two options.
00:06:35.300 If you are a conservative in America, you could be a crazy neocon saying,
00:06:41.460 Let's invade places and turn them into democracies at the end of a gun barrel, which is lunacy, right?
00:06:46.340 The Wolfowitz's of the world, the Bush administration.
00:06:48.820 Or you could be an isolationist and say, Screw everybody.
00:06:52.580 We don't care.
00:06:53.960 Anything beyond the Pacific and the Atlantic is irrelevant, and they can all go to hell.
00:06:58.560 And I thought, You know, you can be a little bit more nuanced than that.
00:07:02.200 There is a palette of options.
00:07:04.500 And the idea that you can isolate yourself from the rest of the world after 9-11 or in the cyber age
00:07:09.560 is just as stupid as thinking you can turn Afghanistan into Switzerland.
00:07:13.380 So that's why I did it.
00:07:14.780 Today, 10 years later, it is by magnitudes worse on our side.
00:07:20.420 It is, this is perhaps beyond everything the left is doing to this country, in my estimation.
00:07:25.840 Open borders, millions of illegal immigrants, fentanyl poisonings, on and on and on the economy.
00:07:30.460 For me, the thing that galls me the most every single day, and I have people on my Twitter feed, you know, get in touch with the radio show,
00:07:38.380 who call themselves conservatives or Republicans, and who say things like,
00:07:46.760 Vladimir Putin is the savior of Western civilization and a great Christian.
00:07:52.700 And I'm going, you do know, you don't have to be a Cold War child like me, but you do know this is a KGB officer who persecuted Christians for a living and is a thug and a murderer.
00:08:05.980 And people are saying, oh, well, he's justified in invading Ukraine because we provoked him.
00:08:14.180 What?
00:08:15.200 What are you talking about?
00:08:16.440 A nation like Ukraine, which is ranked 22nd in the world in military power,
00:08:20.980 is threatening a nation ranked second that has more than 4,000 nuclear warheads.
00:08:27.560 And you're telling me we provoked it or Ukraine provoked it.
00:08:31.380 So I am horrified.
00:08:34.220 We had this discussion over cigars last night.
00:08:36.620 I still don't understand how anyone who has at least a triple digit IQ can say the Russian Federation and Putin are the good guys.
00:08:47.780 So we have, to answer your question in brief, we have a lot of bloody work to do to educate people on my team about the reality of geopolitics today.
00:08:58.260 And you don't have to be a geek about it like me, just the facts.
00:09:04.100 Well, let's do that then, because the interesting thing is that I think, as you say, not a lot of people are educated on either way.
00:09:11.980 What is the national security interest for this country in supporting Ukraine?
00:09:16.960 So you can answer that at a very prosaic level that is intuitive, and then you can go to the geopolitical level.
00:09:23.940 The prosaic one, look, everybody's gone to school, okay?
00:09:27.460 Or everybody's been a member of a club or the Boy Scouts or the football team or what have you.
00:09:32.400 Everybody knows what a bully is.
00:09:34.720 Everybody's seen a bully operate.
00:09:36.900 Now, when does a bully stop being an asshole?
00:09:40.500 When you break their nose.
00:09:41.540 When you bust them in the nose.
00:09:42.920 If you don't stand up, if somebody doesn't stand up to a bully on the playground or in Eastern Europe, the bully proceeds to continue to bully the vulnerable.
00:09:54.240 The idea that whatever reason or excuse is provided, a nuclear-tipped nation with 11 time zones can break a taboo that has been in place since 1945 in Europe,
00:10:09.580 which means you must not aggrandize your territory through use of force, is dangerous to every decent nation, every decent person.
00:10:18.380 And if you want to go to the wonkish level, do your homework about Vladimir Putin or any aspect.
00:10:24.240 I love the biolabs stuff.
00:10:26.260 Oh, really?
00:10:26.940 The biolabs was the reason?
00:10:28.860 Who's thinking built the biolabs?
00:10:31.600 The Soviet Union built the biolabs.
00:10:35.160 It wasn't Condoleezza Rice and George Bush that built the biolabs.
00:10:40.220 So get a little bit of your factual ducks in order.
00:10:43.640 But specifically, a little bit of homework, who is Vladimir Putin beyond a KGB officer, a siloviki, a member of the nomenklatura's national security enterprise?
00:10:54.020 He's a man who, since becoming president for 21 years, has been giving speeches about the illegitimacy of Ukraine as an independent nation,
00:11:02.660 the illegitimacy of the Baltic states, the illegitimacy of Poland as an independent nation,
00:11:08.560 that all should be subsumed into the Rodina, into Mother Russia.
00:11:12.460 And you think, well, those are the states that border Russia.
00:11:18.580 Those are the states who are fully paid-up members of NATO.
00:11:22.240 So you think this won't have consequences?
00:11:25.640 That a man who has already proven that he will keep his promises to use force, to take territory,
00:11:32.100 wants to take Poland, the Baltic states, he must be sent a message.
00:11:36.220 You are not permitted to do that.
00:11:38.120 And if you just want to be very pedestrian about it, he's a bully who has to be given a bloodied nose.
00:11:43.560 And Seb, what would you say to those people who provide a more nuanced argument and go,
00:11:48.380 look, we have been an antagonistic presence in that area of the world.
00:11:53.920 And Ukraine is a buffer zone or a buffer nation.
00:11:58.260 And it's rapidly becoming more westernized.
00:12:00.900 He sees this as a threat to Russia and he sees himself encroached on practically all sides by pro-western nations.
00:12:09.740 Right.
00:12:10.060 Encroached by what?
00:12:11.660 What is the quality of that?
00:12:13.080 If we're going to use the language of moral equivalency and the terminology of the Kremlin propagandists,
00:12:19.320 what is the encroachment?
00:12:20.560 It's the encroachment of western values of representative government.
00:12:24.680 That's the problem for Putin.
00:12:26.280 The Putin, it isn't, we're an empire invading Ukraine, invading the Baltics, invading the NATO.
00:12:33.460 I worked, my job was to get Hungary into NATO when I worked for the Hungarian defense ministry.
00:12:38.100 We were desperate to get back in.
00:12:39.820 Why?
00:12:40.500 Did we want to be a satrapy, a slave state of a, you know, a western empire?
00:12:45.820 No, we wanted to be part of what?
00:12:48.020 A member of a group of nations that is part of the west, that has representative government, that has free markets.
00:12:57.420 So, again, let's translate into prosaic terms.
00:13:00.500 What is NATO?
00:13:01.220 What is the EU?
00:13:02.520 They're clubs.
00:13:04.520 Nobody's forced to join the EU.
00:13:06.360 Nobody puts a gun to the prime minister's head, you know, of Sweden and says, you must join.
00:13:12.420 No, you have to want to join and you have to hit certain membership requirements.
00:13:18.800 In NATO's case, it's very, very easy.
00:13:21.040 You read the 14 points of the Washington Treaty.
00:13:24.300 It just says, you must have a representative democratic government and you must contribute to the collective defense of the club.
00:13:31.720 Okay, well, if Poland wants to join, if Hungary wants to join, if Ukraine wants to join, why does another nation that's outside of the club get to have a veto?
00:13:43.920 I mean, imagine if you're into movies, right?
00:13:46.780 Like me.
00:13:47.660 You join the BFI, the British Film Institute.
00:13:50.360 I was a member when I lived in England.
00:13:52.120 What if your neighbor said, you know, he's a bookworm and he thinks he's a Luddite and he thinks that movies are evil.
00:13:59.080 Would you be okay with your neighbor saying you have no right to join the BFI voluntarily?
00:14:06.680 You say, are you on drugs?
00:14:09.280 Excuse me?
00:14:10.300 No, I have a right to join any association that I can meet the requirements of.
00:14:15.740 So this whole idea that we're an empire, how did we gobble up these nations?
00:14:21.360 They applied.
00:14:22.020 It was tough for Hungary.
00:14:23.780 We had to bump up our defense spending.
00:14:26.760 We had to say, yeah, these are the things we will contribute within a year to NATO.
00:14:31.860 We will have a training center.
00:14:33.620 These are things that are voluntary.
00:14:37.260 But another nation that's outside gets to stop you.
00:14:40.400 That's just nuts.
00:14:41.680 So the obvious, you know, I agree with you on a lot of stuff, obviously.
00:14:44.860 But the obvious counter argument to this is if Mexico wanted to join the Warsaw Pact, would America just let that happen?
00:14:50.840 Well, that's a Cold War context, right?
00:14:55.840 So America would do its damnedest to stop that.
00:15:02.540 But there would be no moral or other justification for us to invade Mexico to stop that.
00:15:10.160 We would cease to be America if we said Mexico has decided, if there's a referendum, if it's not some kind of dictatorship, if Mexico decided, the idea that, what, we're going to invade you to stop you doing something you voluntarily want to do?
00:15:26.120 We might use force if what happened in Afghanistan happened in Mexico.
00:15:32.380 What happened in Afghanistan at Christmas of 79?
00:15:35.040 The Spetsnaz were deployed, went in and assassinated the prime minister.
00:15:38.700 And then the tanks rolled in and said, oh, Afghanistan is now part of the, you know, the broader association of—
00:15:43.940 The fraternal peoples of Afghanistan.
00:15:45.240 Oh, yeah, of friendly nations, right?
00:15:46.460 Yeah, yeah, yeah.
00:15:46.980 So, you know, it's, again, what is missing with these arguments is the moral content.
00:15:52.340 It's the obvious fallacy of the Chomskyite-Michael Moore moral equivalency that, you know, the West is just another version of the East, or NATO is just another version of the Warsaw Pact.
00:16:06.860 No, it's not.
00:16:08.300 When you joined the Warsaw Pact, you were told to join the Warsaw Pact.
00:16:13.520 I'll give you one interesting example.
00:16:15.220 What was one of the biggest problems with NATO?
00:16:17.180 It's a wonky phrase called interoperability.
00:16:19.260 We're all free nations, and everybody had their own vested interests and proclivities.
00:16:24.240 I'm a gun guy.
00:16:25.420 We had, at the height of NATO, a dozen different kinds of assault rifle for troops, right?
00:16:31.180 Brits had the FN.
00:16:32.620 America had the M16.
00:16:35.920 The Belgians had, you know, FNC.
00:16:39.320 Why?
00:16:39.760 Because we chose them.
00:16:40.880 And the Warsaw Pact— How many types of gun did you have?
00:16:44.960 One.
00:16:45.660 Good old AK.
00:16:46.760 Good old AK.
00:16:47.640 And then, how many types of uniform?
00:16:51.080 Think about this.
00:16:52.520 Across NATO, everybody had— It was a nightmare.
00:16:55.700 We had DPM camo in England.
00:16:59.120 The French had their kind of uniforms.
00:17:02.020 Across the whole of the Warsaw Pact, you had the massive hats, the big epaulettes.
00:17:07.500 Why?
00:17:07.720 Because you didn't choose how to defend yourself.
00:17:11.440 You were told by the Frunza Academy.
00:17:13.600 You were told by the general staff in Moscow.
00:17:15.980 You will have the T-72.
00:17:17.820 You will have these uniforms, and you will have an AK.
00:17:20.160 There's no moral equivalence.
00:17:21.660 There's no qualitative equivalence to East and West, despite what Chomsky and others would have you believe.
00:17:27.100 And, Seb, what do you say to those people who go, look, we're funneling billions to Ukraine.
00:17:32.280 Yeah, right.
00:17:32.860 You look at what's happening in our inner cities.
00:17:34.800 Yeah.
00:17:35.020 Look what's happening with, you know, the fentanyl crisis.
00:17:38.320 Look what's happening with the unemployment.
00:17:40.060 Look at the debt.
00:17:40.960 How can we possibly justify this?
00:17:42.860 Yeah, this is like the Tucker Carlson wing of the party here.
00:17:47.420 And it's intuitive.
00:17:50.100 It's a seductive argument.
00:17:51.880 I mean, think about just, I did the figures for my TV show recently.
00:17:54.740 If you add up all the combat deaths suffered by the United States since the end of World War II,
00:17:59.760 so that's Korea, that's Vietnam, that's post-9-11 Afghanistan, that's Gulf 1 and Gulf 2.
00:18:05.320 If you add all of the warfighters killed in combat for over 70 years, it's 103,000 combat deaths.
00:18:15.220 Last year, according to Biden's CDC, the Center for Disease Control in America,
00:18:19.300 according to this regime's CDC, 110,000 Americans were killed by overdoses, mostly from fentanyl.
00:18:29.000 So you go, what?
00:18:30.600 What? More people, more civilians died in 12 months in America because of open borders
00:18:36.400 than died in 70 years of combat in Southeast Asia, in Afghanistan.
00:18:41.600 So it's kind of like, whoa.
00:18:44.040 But that's not how politics works.
00:18:46.560 These aren't mute.
00:18:47.620 You can't, as we say in America, you've got to be able to walk and chew gum at the same time.
00:18:52.840 Just because we have a border crisis doesn't mean that Ukraine is irrelevant
00:18:57.160 and doesn't mean that if we don't do something about it now, it won't get worse.
00:19:01.900 What are we going to do if he invades the Baltic states?
00:19:05.200 I mean, we have an Article 5.
00:19:06.840 Britain, the US, has an Article 5 commitment to the Baltic states, to Hungary, to Poland.
00:19:12.060 If they are invaded by another nation, they are obliged.
00:19:15.880 We are obliged to respond, which during the Cold War meant what?
00:19:19.440 Nuclear war.
00:19:20.260 Are we prepared to do that?
00:19:23.320 Or should we do something about it now to make sure it doesn't get to that point?
00:19:26.720 From the beginning of this conflict, 14 months ago, I wrote a piece,
00:19:30.820 I think it was for Breitbart or my substack, where I said,
00:19:33.960 we must stop this, but not by boots on the ground.
00:19:36.840 I don't want the 82nd Airborne to be deployed to Kiev.
00:19:40.480 And it's Kiev, by the way, guys.
00:19:42.100 I've said from the beginning, we must help them help themselves.
00:19:51.560 And the argument I used to kind of take the legs from under conservatives
00:19:56.460 who say, screw Ukraine, is, oh, okay.
00:20:00.260 Is 1776 important to you?
00:20:03.140 The Revolutionary War that created America?
00:20:06.180 Oh, it is.
00:20:07.200 You believe that America should have split from King George and...
00:20:11.160 What would have happened if Spain, France, and Holland
00:20:17.140 hadn't supported Washington, George Washington?
00:20:22.020 Where we are sitting now would be part of the British Commonwealth.
00:20:25.640 Damn those French.
00:20:27.240 No, seriously.
00:20:28.460 So just to translate it,
00:20:31.140 I don't want to fight for Ukrainians because we're not an empire.
00:20:34.340 But to help them fight for themselves is what we should be doing.
00:20:38.660 But to your first point,
00:20:41.120 shoveling plane loads of cash to an immensely corrupt regime.
00:20:46.380 Look, I think...
00:20:48.040 It's Eastern Europe.
00:20:48.760 Of course it's corrupt.
00:20:49.940 It's dumb.
00:20:51.100 So at the beginning, I wrote an article.
00:20:52.640 Three things we need to do.
00:20:53.880 Number one, we need to supply them with the means they need to protect themselves.
00:20:58.720 Mostly ammunition.
00:20:59.980 They need artillery pieces.
00:21:01.240 Number two, equipment which they can actually use.
00:21:05.740 This asinine thing that we're sending them.
00:21:08.560 Abraham's tanks.
00:21:09.560 Abraham tanks have more than a dozen different types of fluid to run them.
00:21:14.480 A T-72 has oil and diesel, right?
00:21:17.980 Ukrainians don't know how to use,
00:21:19.560 haven't had the training for F-16s or whatever else.
00:21:21.880 We have stockpiles of Warsaw Pact era stuff
00:21:25.320 in Hungary, in Poland, the Czech Republic, Slovakia.
00:21:28.080 Give them equipment they can use.
00:21:30.440 Number two.
00:21:31.160 And the third one is provide...
00:21:33.320 We are peerless.
00:21:34.400 America's ISR,
00:21:35.660 so our intelligence, surveillance, reconnaissance capabilities,
00:21:38.160 our satellites,
00:21:39.220 nobody comes close to us.
00:21:40.540 Give them the real-time target data packs
00:21:43.660 so they can make the Russians bleed in Ukraine.
00:21:46.500 That's what we do.
00:21:47.140 But not pallets of cash,
00:21:48.300 not billions of dollars in the space of one year.
00:21:51.300 That's my nuanced approach
00:21:54.100 between the isolationists and the sender 82nd Airborne.
00:21:58.380 My brother-in-law died suddenly
00:22:00.380 and now my sister and her kids have to sell their home.
00:22:03.900 That's why I told my husband
00:22:05.220 we could not put off getting life insurance any longer.
00:22:08.940 An agent offered us a 10-year, $500,000 policy
00:22:12.360 for nearly $50 a month.
00:22:14.740 Then we called SelectQuote.
00:22:16.640 SelectQuote found us identical coverage
00:22:18.620 for only $19 a month,
00:22:20.660 a savings of $369 a year.

00:22:26.500 or a $5 million policy,

00:23:13.200 Now, Seb, at the risk of giving you an aneurysm,
00:23:19.500 what do you make of the fact
00:23:21.380 that a lot of people on your side
00:23:22.980 are celebrating a 21-year-old
00:23:25.380 who has stolen secret documents
00:23:29.760 and published them
00:23:32.020 that is detrimental to the United States
00:23:34.820 and the Ukraine's interests
00:23:36.160 and they're calling this person a whistleblower?
00:23:38.660 Worse than that, they're calling him a hero.
00:23:42.180 So, I saw this the day you guys arrived in the U.S.
00:23:46.500 and I tweeted it out
00:23:47.440 and I said, do I tweet this
00:23:48.380 because of the flack I'm going to get from my side?
00:23:50.180 I said, yeah, sod it.
00:23:50.800 I'm going to tweet it.
00:23:51.740 I said, are you seriously...
00:23:55.220 I said, we have quote-unquote
00:23:56.960 conservatives who are calling
00:24:00.140 this Massachusetts National Guard airman
00:24:05.220 not only a whistleblower, a hero?
00:24:09.320 Well, A, you should look up
00:24:10.640 the definition of a whistleblower
00:24:11.780 because he didn't give the documents
00:24:14.200 to Matt Gaetz,
00:24:15.640 one of the most anti-establishment conservatives
00:24:17.680 on Capitol Hill.
00:24:18.900 He didn't give them to Breitbart News
00:24:22.100 to publish
00:24:23.380 or he didn't give them
00:24:25.020 to a committee of Congress
00:24:26.900 to investigate.
00:24:27.980 Whistleblower is actually a legal term in America.
00:24:29.500 It comes from the Whistleblower Act.
00:24:30.740 You have to actually go through
00:24:31.880 a form of procedure
00:24:32.660 with the opposition to get it out, right?
00:24:35.620 What did he do?
00:24:36.360 Who did he show it to?
00:24:38.160 26 guys on his Discord gamer chat room.
00:24:43.920 He was flexing
00:24:45.600 to his buddies
00:24:47.120 to look cool.
00:24:49.100 It wasn't about
00:24:49.860 helping responsible government in America.
00:24:53.280 He was trying to show off.
00:24:54.700 He was a punk.
00:24:56.300 And people say,
00:24:57.040 well, but it's good that the truth is out,
00:24:58.880 but the motive doesn't matter.
00:25:00.260 Sorry.
00:25:00.820 The difference between self-defense and murder,
00:25:03.100 motives matter, okay?
00:25:05.740 We have problems
00:25:06.820 with how this war is being managed.
00:25:09.420 This administration has no idea
00:25:11.020 what they're doing
00:25:11.640 when it comes to geopolitics.
00:25:13.100 To quote Obama,
00:25:16.300 this is not apocryphal,
00:25:17.260 you can look it up,
00:25:18.400 to quote Joe Biden's former boss,
00:25:20.480 never underestimate
00:25:21.560 Joe's capacity
00:25:24.320 to F things up.
00:25:25.980 And he has demonstrated that
00:25:27.900 for the last two years.
00:25:29.700 So, yeah.
00:25:31.420 This guy's not a hero.
00:25:32.640 He's not a whistleblower.
00:25:33.960 He's less problematic
00:25:35.140 than, I'm going to piss people off,
00:25:37.000 Snowden was,
00:25:38.480 or Assange.
00:25:39.920 But none of these people are heroes.
00:25:41.680 None of them.
00:25:42.660 And it's not because I'm defending
00:25:43.740 the deep state
00:25:45.400 or the establishment.
00:25:46.300 Don't get me wrong.
00:25:46.940 I have a reputation
00:25:48.700 for hating the establishment.
00:25:51.820 But this guy didn't do it
00:25:53.620 to help anybody.
00:25:55.060 He did it to make himself
00:25:56.420 look cool with his buddies.
00:25:58.260 And we now know
00:25:59.100 that there were foreign nationals
00:26:00.580 on that Discord,
00:26:01.840 including IP addresses from Russia.
00:26:04.680 That's a problem.
00:26:05.480 But, Seb,
00:26:07.780 I'm not part of any side.
00:26:09.800 I know.
00:26:10.100 You guys don't like tribes.
00:26:11.120 Yeah.
00:26:11.320 I've heard that many times.
00:26:12.380 Yeah.
00:26:12.720 But, you know,
00:26:14.720 in the 90s and the noughties,
00:26:18.360 you know,
00:26:18.600 you had the left,
00:26:19.720 you know,
00:26:20.080 and I associated with them.
00:26:22.280 And they had these funky ideas.
00:26:24.040 And you were just like,
00:26:24.820 well, they're progressives.
00:26:26.120 You know,
00:26:26.740 they are what they are.
00:26:27.600 They're going to have
00:26:28.040 these funky ideas.
00:26:29.480 The right,
00:26:30.220 I mean,
00:26:30.480 they were always kind of boring.
00:26:32.200 They always had their own way
00:26:33.600 of looking at the world
00:26:34.520 and, you know,
00:26:34.960 conservative.
00:26:35.640 And all the rest of it.
00:26:37.380 But your lot have gone mental.
00:26:39.860 A lot of them have.
00:26:40.280 Well, the left hasn't gone mental.
00:26:41.700 Yeah, the left have gone mental.
00:26:42.980 But your boys have gone tonto as well.
00:26:44.660 What's going on?
00:26:45.680 Why is this happening?
00:26:47.020 Tell me who first.
00:26:49.600 Because there's a lot of choices.
00:26:51.400 When it comes to tontos
00:26:52.580 on both sides,
00:26:53.800 there's a lot of choices.
00:26:54.780 What do you find the most nutty?
00:26:57.620 So,
00:26:58.140 I have no problem with people saying,
00:27:00.980 who are isolationists,
00:27:02.060 and go,
00:27:02.420 America first.
00:27:03.200 I get that.
00:27:03.720 I understand.
00:27:04.200 I may disagree with it,
00:27:05.200 but there is a logic behind their argument.
00:27:07.400 But just things,
00:27:08.520 but the depths of conspiracy
00:27:11.140 that they see in Ukraine
00:27:13.600 and saying things like,
00:27:15.100 oh, you know,
00:27:15.720 this is an example,
00:27:16.860 you know,
00:27:17.420 crisis actors,
00:27:19.480 you know,
00:27:19.900 Zelensky's wearing combat trousers,
00:27:21.920 therefore it's not a real,
00:27:23.160 whatever they're saying.
00:27:25.460 And these are people on the right,
00:27:27.640 and they've become more and more anti-establishment.
00:27:32.020 But not just,
00:27:32.760 you can be anti-establishment,
00:27:34.340 but with arguments that patently don't make sense.
00:27:37.380 Well,
00:27:37.780 we should have started filming yesterday,
00:27:39.240 because I think we were discussing this
00:27:40.380 until the wee hours.
00:27:41.260 I've actually developed a new TV show
00:27:44.380 that deals exclusively with this problem of conspiracies.
00:27:48.200 It's called Conspiracy Chronicles.
00:27:51.660 I will,
00:27:52.480 I'm not pushing back,
00:27:53.440 but my response would be,
00:27:54.700 this is not a conservative phenomena.
00:27:57.000 This is a Western civilization phenomena.
00:27:59.480 Well,
00:27:59.640 I agree with that.
00:28:00.300 Whether you believe
00:28:02.040 a 14-year-old girl
00:28:04.460 can become a man,
00:28:05.980 or whether you think,
00:28:08.200 as some people on our side would state,
00:28:10.840 President Trump is still secretly the president,
00:28:13.420 and there are 5,000 unsealed indictments
00:28:16.040 he's about to deploy to arrest the deep state.
00:28:18.440 They're all insane.
00:28:19.720 So you have QAnon,
00:28:20.640 and you have Blue Anon.
00:28:21.420 Blue Anon,
00:28:21.720 yeah, right.
00:28:22.300 You have both.
00:28:22.620 So,
00:28:23.460 why do we have that?
00:28:28.360 Many reasons.
00:28:29.540 I would put the two biggest ones
00:28:31.440 is the failure of the education system.
00:28:37.040 The primary problem here is critical thought.
00:28:40.840 There's click-batery,
00:28:43.040 and there's online tribes
00:28:44.840 that you cannot get out of once you're in,
00:28:48.560 because the individuals in them
00:28:50.020 do not have the barest tool set
00:28:53.020 provided to them by the schools they went to
00:28:56.060 to have critical thought.
00:28:57.260 Let's stay with the biolabs thing,
00:28:59.100 right?
00:28:59.920 Putin had to invade
00:29:00.920 because they're about to launch
00:29:02.040 a biological attack on Russia
00:29:04.300 from Ukrainian labs.
00:29:06.280 Okay,
00:29:06.680 so if I have a modicum of critical thought,
00:29:09.920 I'll punch into a search engine
00:29:13.260 Ukrainian biolabs,
00:29:15.140 and I want to find what?
00:29:16.960 The source of them.
00:29:17.940 Where did they originate from?
00:29:19.260 And when I found out what?
00:29:21.400 They are part of Biopreparat,
00:29:23.200 the biggest illegal chemical
00:29:25.020 and biological weapons empire,
00:29:26.740 which was created by the Soviet Union
00:29:28.620 before the ink was dry
00:29:30.020 on the treaty with Nixon
00:29:31.500 banning all chemical and biological weapons.
00:29:33.000 Before the treaty was dry,
00:29:34.980 they were building
00:29:35.780 the biggest illicit WMD complex
00:29:38.560 in the world
00:29:39.440 with labs that were making anthrax,
00:29:41.920 making botulinum,
00:29:43.320 making chemical weapons.
00:29:45.040 And they put them where?
00:29:46.340 In the satellite republics,
00:29:47.800 including Ukraine.
00:29:48.900 When it all fell apart,
00:29:50.660 Christmas Day 1991,
00:29:53.600 which is a great Christmas present,
00:29:55.020 there's legacy capacities.
00:29:57.960 What did the West do?
00:29:59.380 Ooh,
00:29:59.640 the Soviets have been cheating
00:30:01.900 for 20 years.
00:30:03.760 You know what?
00:30:04.960 To protect us from
00:30:06.140 maybe some of this stuff
00:30:07.460 getting into the wrong hands,
00:30:08.780 like, oh, terrorists,
00:30:10.320 we should find out
00:30:11.880 what the Sovs were doing
00:30:13.400 in these labs.
00:30:14.740 So let's get them a bit of money
00:30:16.100 and say,
00:30:16.760 oh, you need a new microscope?
00:30:18.200 You need a new printer?
00:30:19.420 We'll pay for that
00:30:20.280 if you let us come and have a look
00:30:21.860 what you were developing illegally
00:30:23.980 for Moscow.
00:30:26.280 Now, that might take you, what,
00:30:27.420 30 minutes?
00:30:28.020 But to say,
00:30:30.360 a nation with nuclear weapons
00:30:32.820 is afraid of legacy capabilities
00:30:36.460 they built in those states
00:30:39.160 when they were captive nations,
00:30:41.660 it's just stupidity.
00:30:43.940 It's rank ignorance.
00:30:45.620 The second part,
00:30:46.540 which is the exact,
00:30:47.420 no, you actually added
00:30:48.680 a third one yesterday.
00:30:50.340 The second part is,
00:30:52.020 what has the general public learned
00:30:54.720 in the last,
00:30:56.420 let's go from Gulf War,
00:30:58.020 one in the last 32 years
00:31:00.020 about government
00:31:00.800 in the UK,
00:31:02.160 in the US,
00:31:03.180 everywhere in the West?
00:31:03.900 What do they learn?
00:31:06.100 They lie more than we even
00:31:07.660 imagine they lie.
00:31:09.420 From dodgy dossiers
00:31:10.640 to Russian collusion
00:31:12.380 of President Trump,
00:31:14.480 the vast majority
00:31:15.880 of the conventional wisdom
00:31:18.040 is being shown
00:31:20.320 to be fallacious
00:31:21.440 and deliberately so.
00:31:22.940 So there has developed
00:31:24.660 not a skepticism
00:31:26.260 to the establishment's narrative,
00:31:28.380 but a cynicism.
00:31:30.120 If the BBC says it,
00:31:32.040 if the White House says it,
00:31:33.520 if 10 Downing Street says it,
00:31:35.120 the first thing
00:31:35.860 my reaction should be
00:31:37.000 is it's a lie.
00:31:38.360 It's the opposite of the truth.
00:31:40.160 Number two.
00:31:40.820 Third thing,
00:31:41.380 and you pointed this out,
00:31:42.920 social media.
00:31:43.720 social media.
00:31:45.720 I mean,
00:31:46.080 not only do you have access
00:31:48.260 to the things
00:31:49.880 you would never know
00:31:50.820 30 years ago
00:31:51.740 because somebody
00:31:52.620 held up an iPhone
00:31:53.440 while, you know,
00:31:55.120 Jay-Z was, you know,
00:31:56.500 doing something
00:31:57.100 she shouldn't have been doing,
00:31:58.440 right?
00:31:58.880 Or he was doing.
00:32:01.180 You also have what?
00:32:03.260 The dopamine,
00:32:04.700 outrage,
00:32:05.980 clickbaitery
00:32:06.720 that incentivizes what
00:32:09.000 in media today?
00:32:10.640 Speed,
00:32:11.200 not truth.
00:32:12.360 I need to be the first person
00:32:13.880 with that story.
00:32:15.320 Whether it's real or not,
00:32:17.320 it doesn't matter.
00:32:18.020 I need to be the first person
00:32:19.220 so I get the clicks,
00:32:20.680 so my advertiser's happy.
00:32:22.280 Those three things together
00:32:23.460 are the key reasons
00:32:26.060 for why today
00:32:26.900 conspiracy theories
00:32:28.140 are out of control.
00:32:30.140 On left and right.
00:32:31.140 Yeah.
00:32:32.060 But I'm going to sort out
00:32:33.540 the right
00:32:33.880 so you guys can sort out
00:32:34.680 the left.
00:32:35.260 I don't think
00:32:36.200 they're going to let us.
00:32:38.240 We're not as popular
00:32:39.780 on the left
00:32:40.300 as we once were,
00:32:41.200 Seb,
00:32:41.400 as you probably established.
00:32:43.800 But also people
00:32:45.160 like Tucker as well.
00:32:46.200 Yeah.
00:32:47.360 So Tucker,
00:32:48.220 you have to know
00:32:49.040 a little bit
00:32:49.360 about American history.
00:32:50.860 Tucker is a revivification
00:32:52.420 of the America First
00:32:54.080 of yore,
00:32:55.260 of 80 years ago.
00:32:56.760 Or if you want
00:32:57.400 to be a little bit
00:32:58.060 less problematic
00:32:59.800 because that movement
00:33:01.320 had racist overtones,
00:33:03.580 the Buchananite.
00:33:04.320 He's a hardcore
00:33:05.500 neo-Buchananite.
00:33:06.600 Pat Buchanan
00:33:07.220 was such an isolationist.
00:33:08.880 He lives not far
00:33:09.940 from here.
00:33:10.440 Famous conservative
00:33:11.300 politician around
00:33:11.980 for president.
00:33:12.740 He actually has
00:33:13.420 written books
00:33:14.100 saying America
00:33:16.060 should never have
00:33:16.620 got involved
00:33:17.040 in World War II.
00:33:18.820 That,
00:33:19.280 that branch
00:33:20.360 of conservatism
00:33:21.400 is being
00:33:23.060 resuscitated today
00:33:24.700 by, you know,
00:33:25.760 the people
00:33:26.100 who like Tucker.
00:33:27.180 What I find odd
00:33:27.880 about that is
00:33:28.480 I think, you know,
00:33:29.380 100 years ago
00:33:30.060 that that made
00:33:31.000 a lot more sense.
00:33:31.820 But in the world
00:33:32.360 that you live in now...
00:33:33.360 Today's world
00:33:34.280 of dreadliners
00:33:35.280 and internet,
00:33:36.260 it's ridiculous.
00:33:37.140 Yeah.
00:33:38.440 And Seb,
00:33:39.140 one of the things
00:33:39.820 that I found
00:33:40.680 interesting
00:33:41.820 is your former boss
00:33:43.340 who we're going
00:33:43.680 to get onto
00:33:44.140 in a second.
00:33:45.880 He argued
00:33:46.840 that the war
00:33:48.160 in Ukraine
00:33:48.460 would never have
00:33:49.020 happened
00:33:49.360 if he was still
00:33:50.380 in office.
00:33:50.920 And I agree
00:33:51.620 with that.
00:33:52.320 As you know,
00:33:53.000 I was not a massive
00:33:53.800 fan of his,
00:33:54.320 but I agree
00:33:54.780 with that part.
00:33:55.180 I'm glad you put
00:33:55.800 that in the past tense
00:33:56.700 because you want that.
00:33:57.960 Yeah, I'm all
00:33:59.460 MAGA now.
00:34:00.200 MAGA.
00:34:00.380 We got it.
00:34:01.080 We got it.
00:34:01.360 Absolutely.
00:34:01.620 But what troubled me
00:34:06.760 about what he said
00:34:07.940 at the same time
00:34:08.820 was essentially
00:34:09.860 the read I got
00:34:11.260 from what he said
00:34:12.020 is I would have
00:34:13.040 forced Ukraine
00:34:13.760 to give things away
00:34:15.160 in order to have peace.
00:34:17.900 And to me,
00:34:18.440 that's a Peaseman 2.0.
00:34:20.340 Yeah, I haven't read that.
00:34:22.880 I haven't seen that.
00:34:23.960 But it's one of the
00:34:24.800 most amusing things
00:34:25.700 I often, you know,
00:34:26.600 everybody wants to know
00:34:27.340 about me.
00:34:27.740 Wherever I go,
00:34:28.460 whatever I want to talk about
00:34:29.460 sooner or later,
00:34:30.160 what's he really like?
00:34:31.160 And they want to know
00:34:31.640 about him.
00:34:32.420 And when I get asked,
00:34:33.520 what would President Trump
00:34:34.520 do now about Ukraine?
00:34:35.580 I just laugh.
00:34:36.240 I chortle
00:34:36.800 because it never
00:34:38.380 would have happened.
00:34:39.460 I mean,
00:34:39.660 let me give you
00:34:40.300 one example
00:34:40.880 that nobody talks about.
00:34:42.960 When we were
00:34:43.640 in the White House,
00:34:45.040 we found out
00:34:46.080 that there were
00:34:46.620 300 Wagner Group guys
00:34:48.180 in Syria.
00:34:49.000 Now, these aren't
00:34:49.680 independent contractors.
00:34:50.800 These work for the Kremlin,
00:34:52.060 right?
00:34:52.300 They work,
00:34:53.020 you know,
00:34:53.300 they're the deniable
00:34:53.980 little green men
00:34:54.720 for the Kremlin.
00:34:56.220 And President Trump
00:34:57.260 found out
00:34:57.720 that they were
00:34:58.060 destabilizing Syria.
00:34:59.380 What did he do?
00:35:00.160 He did something
00:35:00.780 not even Ronald Reagan
00:35:01.700 or any president
00:35:02.560 since they stormed
00:35:03.600 the Winter Palace
00:35:04.180 in 1917 did.
00:35:05.760 He told the Secretary of Defense,
00:35:07.260 kill them all now.
00:35:09.120 Within 48 hours,
00:35:10.620 300 Wagner Group mercenaries
00:35:12.140 were pink mist.
00:35:14.400 Vladimir Putin
00:35:15.320 didn't even hold
00:35:17.600 a press conference.
00:35:19.140 He so shat himself.
00:35:22.500 That's what the bad guys
00:35:24.740 think of my former boss.
00:35:26.300 Whether it's
00:35:26.620 little Kim
00:35:27.140 in North Korea,
00:35:27.900 whether it's
00:35:28.960 the Mueller's,
00:35:29.840 whether it's ISIS,
00:35:31.000 or whether it's
00:35:31.680 Putin,
00:35:32.840 they fear this man,
00:35:34.240 which is good,
00:35:35.280 which is good,
00:35:36.000 because he loves America
00:35:37.120 and he's not
00:35:38.020 a dictator
00:35:38.920 as the left
00:35:39.380 would have you believe.
00:35:40.100 He loves this country.
00:35:41.700 I'm not sure about
00:35:42.900 he would have
00:35:43.860 told them
00:35:44.720 to give stuff away
00:35:46.540 and even if he said that,
00:35:48.640 I would say
00:35:49.240 it never would have happened
00:35:50.120 so it's abovo irrelevant.
00:35:52.440 You never,
00:35:52.980 look at the last
00:35:54.040 16 years of politics.
00:35:56.480 When was Georgia
00:35:57.460 and South Ossetia invaded?
00:35:59.280 Under Obama.
00:36:00.380 Under George W. Bush.
00:36:02.340 When was Crimea taken?
00:36:03.700 Under Obama.
00:36:04.600 Then there's a cesura
00:36:05.880 and there's for four years,
00:36:08.600 Putin doesn't do anything.
00:36:10.700 What were those four years?
00:36:12.660 Oh, when we were
00:36:13.800 in the White House.
00:36:14.880 That's weird.
00:36:15.920 So the guy that we are told
00:36:16.960 is the Russian puppet
00:36:18.620 of Putin,
00:36:20.160 under his tenure,
00:36:22.400 Putin didn't invade anybody.
00:36:24.680 We leave the White House.
00:36:27.140 Biden surrenders
00:36:28.100 in Afghanistan
00:36:28.760 and I know
00:36:30.020 what happened
00:36:30.480 in the Kremlin.
00:36:31.460 The second,
00:36:32.260 13 of our war fighters
00:36:34.120 were murdered
00:36:34.640 by ISIS in Bagram
00:36:35.840 and that last jet
00:36:37.280 takes off
00:36:37.780 with literally people
00:36:38.920 hanging on the wheel well.
00:36:41.740 Thousands of people
00:36:42.660 dying,
00:36:43.340 clinging to our aircraft.
00:36:44.920 Vlad said,
00:36:45.720 all right, boys,
00:36:46.720 get the tanks ready.
00:36:47.820 We're rolling.
00:36:49.020 So it never would have happened
00:36:50.300 under President Trump
00:36:51.320 and that's why
00:36:53.380 we need him back
00:36:53.980 in the White House.
00:36:55.100 And how do you solve this now?
00:36:57.220 Final question on Ukraine.
00:36:58.600 How does this get resolved?
00:36:59.780 As soon as this man
00:37:05.620 is re-elected,
00:37:07.520 if conservatives
00:37:08.300 can achieve that,
00:37:10.240 the conflict
00:37:11.460 will stop immediately
00:37:12.760 in terms of active engagement
00:37:14.380 and President Trump
00:37:15.860 will engage
00:37:16.560 and behind closed doors
00:37:19.800 he will do
00:37:20.240 what he does the most.
00:37:21.640 He will be
00:37:22.400 very undiplomatic
00:37:24.180 and he will make it
00:37:25.880 very clear
00:37:26.300 that this cannot continue.
00:37:28.580 The question is
00:37:29.720 how does Kiev
00:37:30.620 respond to that?
00:37:31.920 You are far better versed
00:37:33.180 in that.
00:37:33.560 You've been there,
00:37:34.100 you have family there.
00:37:35.360 I don't know
00:37:36.180 what is
00:37:37.260 conscionable
00:37:38.000 for Kiev right now
00:37:39.080 and what isn't.
00:37:40.000 Are they prepared
00:37:40.620 to write off
00:37:41.380 Donbass and Crimea
00:37:42.480 or not?
00:37:43.480 I can't predict that.
00:37:44.740 But President Trump
00:37:45.540 will,
00:37:46.240 he will deploy
00:37:47.360 the art of the deal
00:37:48.220 in very undiplomatic terms
00:37:49.700 behind closed doors
00:37:50.680 and tell Vladimir Putin
00:37:52.620 that it must stop
00:37:53.380 otherwise there will be,
00:37:55.000 all he does,
00:37:55.620 he doesn't go into detail
00:37:56.560 so there will be
00:37:57.320 very serious ramifications
00:37:58.960 for you as a nation
00:37:59.920 and Putin will acquiesce.
00:38:03.540 Will Kiev acquiesce
00:38:05.240 and under what terms
00:38:06.260 of who controls
00:38:07.420 which territory
00:38:08.060 that cannot be predicted.
00:38:10.980 You said
00:38:11.780 if this man is re-elected.
00:38:13.980 Yes.
00:38:14.280 So let's talk about that.
00:38:15.300 Yeah.
00:38:17.720 He's way ahead
00:38:18.640 of DeSantis in the polls.
00:38:20.360 However,
00:38:21.580 this is something
00:38:22.200 that when we got
00:38:23.160 a little tour
00:38:23.740 of the Capitol
00:38:24.240 the other day
00:38:24.700 someone said to us
00:38:25.480 DeSantis is further ahead
00:38:27.440 than Reagan and Nixon
00:38:28.360 before they announced.
00:38:30.780 So,
00:38:31.840 how good,
00:38:35.140 I mean,
00:38:35.480 right now it's looking good
00:38:36.400 for President Trump.
00:38:37.220 Yes, very good.
00:38:38.140 However,
00:38:38.600 he's just been indicted
00:38:39.460 on 34 charges.
00:38:40.760 Yep.
00:38:42.160 Does that help him?
00:38:43.160 Does that hinder him?
00:38:44.060 Well,
00:38:44.480 it has so far.
00:38:45.420 It's given him a bump.
00:38:46.600 He's now the highest
00:38:47.580 he's been in a long time
00:38:48.980 since January the 6th.
00:38:50.840 Joe Biden has sunk
00:38:52.100 to the second lowest
00:38:53.420 he's ever been,
00:38:54.060 42% popularity
00:38:55.260 since he became president.
00:38:57.200 And also,
00:38:58.140 I don't know
00:38:59.200 when this is going to air,
00:39:00.080 but in the week
00:39:01.360 of the indictment,
00:39:02.600 since the indictment,
00:39:03.520 President Trump
00:39:04.020 raised $12 million
00:39:04.740 as a result of the indictment.
00:39:06.320 So whether it's polling,
00:39:07.560 whether it's money,
00:39:08.440 this has given him
00:39:09.180 a boost,
00:39:10.500 the likes of which
00:39:11.480 you don't get
00:39:12.200 with a TV ad campaign
00:39:13.700 or 100 rallies.
00:39:15.620 So,
00:39:16.360 he's doing well.
00:39:17.980 Whether he wins or not
00:39:19.300 is a function
00:39:19.900 of one thing predominantly.
00:39:23.080 Let's remember,
00:39:23.800 this is the man
00:39:24.300 who received in 2020
00:39:25.700 more votes
00:39:26.720 than any incumbent
00:39:27.700 president in history.
00:39:28.660 74 million Americans
00:39:29.780 voted for President Trump.
00:39:31.180 This is a really
00:39:32.540 piquant fact.
00:39:35.300 He's the only president
00:39:36.220 in history
00:39:36.840 to ever get more votes
00:39:39.540 in his second election
00:39:41.820 and not to win,
00:39:43.440 which is really weird,
00:39:44.700 isn't it?
00:39:45.120 Not only that,
00:39:46.460 he's a man
00:39:47.280 who was vilified
00:39:48.260 for four years nonstop
00:39:49.440 by the establishment,
00:39:50.940 called a racist,
00:39:52.160 a misogynist,
00:39:52.860 an Islamophobe,
00:39:53.940 a white supremacist,
00:39:55.460 and eventually a Nazi.
00:39:57.620 Despite that coming
00:39:58.800 out of the tap 24-7,
00:40:00.920 he received
00:40:01.500 10 million more votes
00:40:03.360 in the second election
00:40:04.600 in 20
00:40:05.440 than he did in 16,
00:40:06.720 which is quite remarkable,
00:40:07.820 and more votes
00:40:08.640 from the black
00:40:09.560 minority community
00:40:11.520 than any Republican
00:40:12.360 since the 60s.
00:40:13.320 So the basic foundation,
00:40:16.700 the core of his success,
00:40:19.160 demonstrably,
00:40:19.900 mathematically,
00:40:20.520 is there.
00:40:21.120 The biggest problem
00:40:21.860 is how we run
00:40:22.640 elections in America.
00:40:24.180 When I came here,
00:40:25.280 elections were held
00:40:25.940 on election day.
00:40:27.180 I was sometimes traveling,
00:40:28.660 and I could request
00:40:29.380 an absentee ballot.
00:40:30.400 In the state of Virginia,
00:40:31.700 the Commonwealth of Virginia
00:40:32.560 where I live,
00:40:33.240 I would have to prove
00:40:34.340 why I cannot vote
00:40:35.260 on election day.
00:40:35.900 I would have to have,
00:40:36.980 you know,
00:40:37.580 a note from my boss.
00:40:39.180 I would have to,
00:40:39.680 you know,
00:40:39.880 I'm sick from a doctor,
00:40:41.600 or my boss
00:40:42.260 needs to be out of the country.
00:40:44.460 I would have to prove.
00:40:45.860 Before the last presidential election,
00:40:49.520 the Democrats managed
00:40:51.120 to engineer
00:40:51.740 that 81 million mail-in ballots
00:40:55.340 were sent out
00:40:56.220 to people unrequested.
00:40:58.400 Not I'm sick
00:40:59.400 or whatever,
00:41:00.620 just en bloc sent out
00:41:02.580 that would be sitting
00:41:03.260 on the stoops of houses
00:41:04.400 in apartment blocks
00:41:05.160 in piles,
00:41:06.280 ballots.
00:41:07.460 And that is
00:41:09.160 a recipe for disaster.
00:41:11.600 that the temptation
00:41:12.960 to distort that,
00:41:15.080 and President Trump warned us.
00:41:16.900 And on top of that,
00:41:18.540 we are meant to believe
00:41:19.700 that an aged individual
00:41:21.400 who is a career politician
00:41:24.860 for 47 years,
00:41:26.240 who clearly has
00:41:28.340 some cognitive issues,
00:41:29.960 received more votes
00:41:31.260 than the first young,
00:41:33.300 charismatic,
00:41:34.180 black president.
00:41:35.220 something is problematic here.
00:41:37.580 Something doesn't make sense.
00:41:39.680 But the question of
00:41:41.280 will they be able
00:41:43.480 to keep in place
00:41:44.460 in Democrat-controlled states
00:41:46.160 the COVID justification
00:41:48.320 for mailing ballots
00:41:49.860 and for...
00:41:50.540 Where I live in Virginia,
00:41:51.780 which is asinine,
00:41:52.940 we now have a 45-day
00:41:54.900 voting period.
00:41:56.360 It's not election day.
00:41:57.680 It's a month and a half
00:41:58.760 of voting.
00:42:00.260 I mean, look,
00:42:00.920 the part I'd agree with you on
00:42:02.460 is the fact that
00:42:04.060 you don't get a result
00:42:05.040 on the same day
00:42:05.760 doesn't make any sense to me.
00:42:07.600 The fact that, you know,
00:42:08.840 voter ID
00:42:09.740 is a controversial issue
00:42:11.100 makes no sense to me at all.
00:42:12.300 Well, it does make sense
00:42:13.640 if you want to steal elections.
00:42:15.120 Okay.
00:42:15.920 On the other hand, though,
00:42:17.580 the fact that
00:42:18.560 a president like Joe Biden,
00:42:21.160 who I don't think commands
00:42:22.560 the love of the people,
00:42:23.800 let's put it mildly,
00:42:24.680 would get so many votes
00:42:26.660 can be quite readily explained
00:42:28.180 by the fact that
00:42:28.860 your former boss
00:42:29.540 is very off-putting
00:42:30.360 to many people.
00:42:31.220 Now, you may dislike that fact,
00:42:33.460 but he is.
00:42:33.880 But that's countered
00:42:34.520 by the fact that
00:42:35.140 he received more votes
00:42:35.980 than any incumbent president
00:42:36.880 in history.
00:42:37.380 Oh, he did.
00:42:38.280 And at the same time,
00:42:39.400 you could argue
00:42:39.920 that he provoked
00:42:40.880 a lot of people
00:42:41.900 to vote for the opposition, too.
00:42:43.440 You could, yeah.
00:42:43.840 So, but what...
00:42:46.660 Then, if he didn't win last time
00:42:49.200 and the Democrats
00:42:50.260 have been in charge
00:42:51.020 for four years
00:42:51.660 by the time
00:42:52.180 the next election happened,
00:42:53.120 let's say,
00:42:53.420 we'll talk about DeSantis separately,
00:42:54.740 but let's say
00:42:55.500 he's the nominee.
00:42:56.860 Right.
00:42:58.080 What's the route to success?
00:42:59.640 Well, the route to success
00:43:00.500 is what the president
00:43:01.660 has said
00:43:02.140 in his recent
00:43:02.860 Truth Social video posting,
00:43:04.820 which a lot of conservatives
00:43:06.000 have problems with
00:43:07.560 for obvious reasons.
00:43:08.760 But we have to
00:43:10.580 out-organize the Democrats.
00:43:13.820 The Democrats
00:43:14.300 have an amazing ground game.
00:43:16.300 They have machinery
00:43:17.100 to collect mail-in ballots.
00:43:18.720 So, we could talk
00:43:21.000 about this for hours.
00:43:21.780 Before the last election,
00:43:22.620 and this is illegal
00:43:23.860 by state statute,
00:43:25.740 a private entity,
00:43:27.340 Mark Zuckerberg's foundation,
00:43:30.200 dropped,
00:43:30.960 that we know of,
00:43:31.940 officially,
00:43:32.740 $450 million
00:43:33.740 to help run elections locally.
00:43:36.880 Now, what did that mean?
00:43:38.180 It meant a private entity,
00:43:39.140 which is not permitted,
00:43:40.140 state governments
00:43:40.920 must run elections,
00:43:42.440 was training people
00:43:43.700 to,
00:43:45.120 it's called harvesting ballots,
00:43:46.780 go to places
00:43:48.040 where mail-in ballots
00:43:49.180 have been mailed to
00:43:50.160 and collect them
00:43:51.640 and collect them
00:43:53.000 and bring them
00:43:54.020 to the polling stations.
00:43:55.320 Not only that,
00:43:56.660 they created a system
00:43:58.100 of ballot collection
00:44:00.120 drop boxes
00:44:00.920 where if you didn't,
00:44:03.620 couldn't be asked
00:44:04.140 to mail your vote in
00:44:05.780 or go to the polling station,
00:44:07.460 within five minutes
00:44:09.340 of your home
00:44:09.960 at a library
00:44:10.780 or whatever,
00:44:11.380 there'd be a big box
00:44:12.180 and you could drop it in
00:44:12.820 for weeks and weeks and weeks.
00:44:13.740 But the problem was
00:44:16.340 they were all
00:44:17.860 in predominantly
00:44:18.900 Democrat districts.
00:44:20.280 So you made voting easier
00:44:22.040 in Democrat strongholds.
00:44:23.920 And then you have
00:44:24.620 Dinesh D'Souza's movie,
00:44:25.980 2000 Mules,
00:44:27.000 where we have obtained
00:44:28.460 the public footage
00:44:29.320 of the CCTV cameras
00:44:30.420 of people dropping
00:44:31.700 literally bundles
00:44:33.420 of ballots
00:44:34.780 at 2 or 3 a.m.
00:44:37.480 One guy who's tracked
00:44:39.120 through his cell phone
00:44:40.120 going to 16 different
00:44:41.960 drop boxes
00:44:42.700 in one evening.
00:44:46.060 Sorry, who's that?
00:44:47.440 Does he have 300 relatives
00:44:49.120 who are sick?
00:44:51.160 These are happening
00:44:52.080 in states like Georgia
00:44:53.260 where you are,
00:44:54.920 it is a crime
00:44:56.000 to deposit somebody else's vote
00:44:58.620 unless they are a member
00:44:59.780 of your family.
00:45:01.320 So what the president said is,
00:45:03.640 we've just got to be
00:45:05.440 as organized as they are
00:45:06.660 in those states
00:45:08.160 where these things
00:45:08.980 are still permitted.
00:45:09.620 Because we're a republic
00:45:10.520 of states,
00:45:11.400 there are differences
00:45:12.020 between how elections
00:45:12.840 are run state by state.
00:45:14.040 What has happened
00:45:14.860 since 2020
00:45:16.540 in many states
00:45:17.520 where the republicans
00:45:18.860 are in control
00:45:19.420 of the state legislature,
00:45:20.820 they've banned
00:45:21.500 a lot of this stuff.
00:45:22.160 They said, no,
00:45:22.900 we're going to have
00:45:23.380 a voting day.
00:45:24.320 If you're sick,
00:45:25.340 you've got to have
00:45:25.740 a doctor's note.
00:45:26.580 If you're traveling,
00:45:27.320 the boss has got to certify it.
00:45:28.780 So we've got to clean it up
00:45:29.960 to get back to where we were
00:45:31.480 so it's fair,
00:45:32.160 it's transparent.
00:45:33.220 And where we can't clean it up,
00:45:34.800 we've got to out-organize
00:45:36.500 the other side.
00:45:37.100 That's what President Trump
00:45:38.000 has said,
00:45:38.380 and I'm worried
00:45:39.640 because the RNC,
00:45:42.400 which is the
00:45:42.700 Republican National Congress,
00:45:43.860 which is the
00:45:44.340 establishment party
00:45:47.060 of the Republicans,
00:45:48.960 they're just oxygen thieves.
00:45:51.660 I mean,
00:45:51.880 they just couldn't organize
00:45:52.840 a piss-up in a brewery.
00:45:54.540 And they're not
00:45:55.220 getting stuff done.
00:45:56.100 This is getting solved
00:45:56.940 at a local level,
00:45:58.540 which is good,
00:45:59.420 but it's not enough.
00:46:00.140 So we've got a year and a half
00:46:01.680 to fix it.
00:46:02.340 Will we?
00:46:02.780 I have no idea.

00:47:01.520 five days a week
00:47:02.520 from Politically Georgia podcast.
00:47:05.560 What would you say, Seb?
00:47:06.780 And look,
00:47:07.140 I have a lot of sympathy
00:47:07.980 for this argument
00:47:08.640 and I agree with it.
00:47:13.080 Policy-wise,
00:47:14.680 there was a lot
00:47:15.200 that I agreed with,
00:47:15.960 with Trump.
00:47:17.160 There was.
00:47:17.840 There was.
00:47:18.860 You can,
00:47:19.360 it's all right.
00:47:19.740 Look,
00:47:19.980 I know you're on camera,
00:47:20.860 but it's okay.
00:47:21.500 Right now,
00:47:22.060 you can tell everybody
00:47:22.680 you're a conservative.
00:47:24.720 Maggie is your heroine.
00:47:26.040 I'm good.
00:47:27.080 I'm good with it.
00:47:28.040 Come out.
00:47:28.760 Come out now.
00:47:29.560 There's a lot of people
00:47:30.620 right now.
00:47:30.700 Trigger everyone.
00:47:31.620 Right now.
00:47:32.360 Listen,
00:47:33.160 it's an archaic,
00:47:34.220 it's an archaic reference,
00:47:35.460 but as a movie buff,
00:47:36.200 you'd like that.
00:47:37.000 I think at the moment,
00:47:37.960 people think I'm the
00:47:38.740 Rock Hudson
00:47:39.200 of the conservative parties.
00:47:41.920 I've been in the closet
00:47:42.920 that long.
00:47:43.720 They're waiting for it.
00:47:44.840 Oh my gosh.
00:47:45.720 Yeah.
00:47:46.080 Obviously,
00:47:46.560 I don't want to be outed
00:47:47.340 quite like Rock Hudson.
00:47:48.540 That was brutal.
00:47:48.900 No,
00:47:48.920 that was a little bit
00:47:49.680 uncomfortable.
00:47:50.540 Yeah.
00:47:50.840 But anyway.
00:47:51.680 Would a more modern reference
00:47:52.780 be the Philip Schofield?
00:47:53.820 Yeah.
00:47:54.400 Yeah.
00:47:54.600 Yeah.
00:47:55.020 Yeah.
00:47:55.420 Apart from...
00:47:56.180 You're going to be crying
00:47:56.980 on TV before long,
00:47:57.980 mate.
00:47:58.020 Exactly.
00:47:58.700 All right.
00:47:58.880 What's the argument?
00:47:59.820 The argument is
00:48:00.880 a lot of the policies,
00:48:02.860 particularly geopolitics,
00:48:04.060 particularly international,
00:48:05.440 there's a lot of people
00:48:06.560 be like,
00:48:07.020 I don't like him,
00:48:07.800 but I kind of agree
00:48:08.620 with what he's doing.
00:48:09.480 Right.
00:48:10.220 But the divisiveness,
00:48:12.040 the language,
00:48:13.280 the tweets,
00:48:14.060 is that really what we need
00:48:15.400 in a country
00:48:15.960 that is more than ever divided?
00:48:17.440 Yeah,
00:48:19.860 I hear this all the time.
00:48:21.480 The first reaction is
00:48:23.260 I have a friend
00:48:24.360 who runs an amazing website
00:48:25.380 called American Greatness,
00:48:27.480 Chris Baskirk.
00:48:28.160 He's a regular on my show.
00:48:30.060 And he said
00:48:31.220 the indictment
00:48:32.320 has changed the minds
00:48:33.480 of everyone he knows
00:48:35.700 who had that opinion,
00:48:36.960 who said,
00:48:37.980 ah, Trump,
00:48:38.820 but...
00:48:39.600 Once he was indicted
00:48:41.160 by Alvin Bragg
00:48:42.000 on this made up,
00:48:43.080 you know,
00:48:44.000 business record misstatement
00:48:46.860 that was,
00:48:48.160 you know,
00:48:48.780 trumped up into a,
00:48:50.260 talked up into a felony,
00:48:51.940 they said,
00:48:52.600 screw it.
00:48:53.540 They're persecuting this guy
00:48:54.800 and they've come back
00:48:55.540 into the fold.
00:48:56.060 And these aren't average people.
00:48:57.060 Chris is talking about
00:48:58.020 big donors
00:48:58.660 who were conservative
00:49:00.560 but had issues
00:49:01.280 with the staffing.
00:49:02.220 My argument is the following,
00:49:03.640 and it's not pragmat...
00:49:05.900 It's not pragmatic,
00:49:06.940 it's principle-based.
00:49:08.600 Let me just slightly modify
00:49:10.280 what you just said.
00:49:11.440 There is no policy.
00:49:13.360 If you're a conservative,
00:49:14.680 there is no policy.
00:49:15.760 If you love this country,
00:49:16.700 forget concerns.
00:49:17.520 There's no policy
00:49:18.220 you can disagree with
00:49:19.160 when it comes to President Trump
00:49:20.560 in the last four years
00:49:21.340 in macro terms.
00:49:23.240 Biggest,
00:49:23.940 strongest economy
00:49:24.760 we have ever had.
00:49:27.160 A relatively closed border,
00:49:29.020 clamped down
00:49:29.480 on illegal immigration,
00:49:31.100 revitalization of NATO,
00:49:33.340 not just our military.
00:49:34.460 We finally got the freeloaders
00:49:35.940 to pay their share
00:49:37.180 after 40 years
00:49:38.600 of not paying their share.
00:49:40.540 Then we had
00:49:41.460 the crushing of ISIS.
00:49:47.520 Obama had told us
00:49:48.940 ISIS is a, quote,
00:49:50.520 generational problem
00:49:51.720 we just have to get used to.
00:49:53.540 We came in
00:49:54.520 and we took the lawyers
00:49:55.720 out of the way
00:49:56.280 of the Green Berets
00:49:57.100 and the SOCOM,
00:49:58.600 and they...
00:49:59.420 Five months later,
00:50:00.740 the caliphate was gone.
00:50:02.540 So whether it's
00:50:03.200 national security,
00:50:04.240 foreign affairs,
00:50:05.360 immigration,
00:50:06.280 the economy...
00:50:07.400 Oh, and how about this one?
00:50:08.620 First time in history.
00:50:10.340 We were selling
00:50:11.420 other people energy.
00:50:13.120 We were self-sufficient
00:50:14.780 for the lifeblood
00:50:15.940 of an economy,
00:50:16.680 and we were exporting it
00:50:18.020 so we could thumb our noses
00:50:20.000 at OPEC and Russia
00:50:21.560 and everybody else.
00:50:22.480 So when it comes to
00:50:23.420 everything you could pick,
00:50:25.220 whatever your issue is,
00:50:26.320 you're,
00:50:27.140 yeah, that's good.
00:50:28.400 And then you're going to
00:50:29.520 bitch and moan to me
00:50:30.340 about mean tweets?
00:50:33.360 Well, slap yourself
00:50:34.840 in the face.
00:50:35.900 Really?
00:50:37.180 So for you,
00:50:38.660 decorum or style
00:50:40.680 on social media
00:50:42.020 is more important
00:50:43.480 than a strong economy,
00:50:45.280 a safe nation,
00:50:46.340 a close border,
00:50:47.660 ISIS crushed.
00:50:49.120 Well, then you're a moron.
00:50:50.640 Then you're not an adult.
00:50:51.640 You're a child.
00:50:52.980 Now, don't get me wrong.
00:50:54.380 You know, this is,
00:50:54.880 you know, me in the White House
00:50:56.120 in the Oval Office.
00:50:57.460 When I worked with this man,
00:50:59.140 I went to, you know,
00:51:00.800 public school in England.
00:51:02.680 I went in the debate club,
00:51:04.500 stiff upper lip
00:51:05.940 and all that stuff.
00:51:08.240 His style took
00:51:09.500 some getting used to.
00:51:11.560 The language he used
00:51:13.240 in the Oval Office
00:51:15.200 with me
00:51:16.000 made me blush a few times.
00:51:18.640 So what?
00:51:22.120 Really?
00:51:23.860 That's your metric
00:51:24.860 for who you want
00:51:25.700 to lead the country?
00:51:27.320 And I just say,
00:51:28.740 slap yourself in the face
00:51:29.700 and grow up.
00:51:30.360 But Sam,
00:51:30.740 there are a lot of people.
00:51:31.840 There are a lot of people
00:51:32.660 for whom that is the metric.
00:51:34.200 I know,
00:51:34.520 but hang on,
00:51:34.860 let me finish here.
00:51:36.100 The problem with my argument,
00:51:37.560 and this is where
00:51:38.240 I'm going to advocate
00:51:39.340 against myself,
00:51:40.000 is that my buddy
00:51:42.100 Andrew Clavin says,
00:51:43.780 yeah,
00:51:45.120 but you've got to win elections.
00:51:47.080 Well,
00:51:47.420 that's my point.
00:51:47.960 Right?
00:51:51.660 I don't have a reasonable answer to that
00:51:53.360 because you're not going to change
00:51:54.660 a 76-year-old man's way of behaving.
00:51:56.840 You're not going to rein him in.
00:51:58.380 You're just not going to rein him in.
00:52:00.280 I have a very personal argument
00:52:02.600 for why I support him
00:52:03.980 and why I will vote for him.
00:52:06.000 And it's this.
00:52:09.120 The situation in this city,
00:52:11.480 in federal government,
00:52:13.860 inside the most powerful
00:52:15.160 judicial and intelligence enterprise
00:52:18.900 the planet has ever seen,
00:52:20.420 meaning the FBI,
00:52:21.200 the CIA,
00:52:21.780 the NSA,
00:52:22.260 the DOJ,
00:52:23.340 is frightening to me.
00:52:26.600 And I do not
00:52:27.460 become fearful easily.
00:52:30.860 My life changed inexorably
00:52:32.840 when I was on holiday
00:52:34.120 on the beach
00:52:35.380 as an eight-year-old kid.
00:52:38.140 I was playing on the sand
00:52:39.620 with my action man.
00:52:41.280 And my dad,
00:52:41.900 who was a bear of a man,
00:52:43.540 I mean,
00:52:43.780 he was on the national rowing team
00:52:44.960 two years down that prison coal mine,
00:52:47.620 loved physical exercise,
00:52:49.000 loved swimming,
00:52:49.960 and he comes out of the ocean
00:52:51.380 and he walks up to me,
00:52:53.300 towers over me,
00:52:54.800 and I look up at him
00:52:56.200 and I see something
00:52:57.000 for the first time ever
00:52:57.860 that I hadn't noticed before
00:52:59.420 on his wrist.
00:53:00.080 I saw these white lines
00:53:01.720 and he was far too young
00:53:03.480 to have like wrinkles
00:53:04.880 on his wrists.
00:53:05.840 So like an idiot,
00:53:06.960 I said,
00:53:07.520 hey dad,
00:53:08.020 what's that?
00:53:09.200 He said to me in Hungarian,
00:53:11.040 that's where the secret police
00:53:12.500 bound my wrists together
00:53:13.660 with wire behind my back
00:53:15.080 so they could hang me
00:53:16.140 from the ceiling
00:53:16.660 of the torture chamber.
00:53:19.460 Your life,
00:53:20.580 that is when you arrive
00:53:21.700 at a fork in a road
00:53:22.640 and your life diverges.
00:53:25.420 Because at that point,
00:53:26.320 for me,
00:53:27.760 evil
00:53:28.200 wasn't,
00:53:30.240 you know,
00:53:30.980 Saruman
00:53:31.400 from Lord of the Rings.
00:53:33.380 It wasn't Wile Ekaidu
00:53:34.540 from the cartoon.
00:53:35.720 From that moment onwards,
00:53:36.740 I understood evil exists,
00:53:37.980 it's real,
00:53:38.500 you know,
00:53:39.520 lurks in the heart of men
00:53:40.480 and we must do everything
00:53:42.140 we can to stop it.
00:53:43.660 I couldn't have expressed that,
00:53:45.180 but my father started
00:53:46.260 to tell me his story
00:53:46.960 over the years.
00:53:48.320 So,
00:53:49.040 when I came here
00:53:50.240 14 years ago
00:53:51.360 and I'd have conservatives
00:53:52.760 who were born in America
00:53:53.640 saying,
00:53:54.120 oh,
00:53:54.340 the commies are here,
00:53:55.960 socialism has arrived,
00:53:57.040 I would openly laugh at them.
00:54:00.240 Really?
00:54:01.200 Communism in America?
00:54:02.280 Let me tell you about,
00:54:03.440 let me tell you about
00:54:03.960 the scars on my dad's body.
00:54:06.060 We'll talk about communism.
00:54:08.460 I don't laugh at them.
00:54:10.440 I don't ridicule them anymore.
00:54:11.700 When a pro-life preacher
00:54:14.940 outside of Philadelphia
00:54:17.180 who protected his 12-year-old son
00:54:20.940 from a loony
00:54:22.240 at an abortion clinic
00:54:23.520 who was effing and blighting
00:54:24.660 in his face
00:54:25.440 and shoved him away
00:54:26.520 from his child
00:54:27.260 is charged
00:54:28.880 with a misdemeanor assault,
00:54:31.140 has that dismissed completely
00:54:33.880 at a local court.
00:54:35.120 No, you're protecting your child.
00:54:36.680 Four months later,
00:54:38.220 federal agents
00:54:39.100 from this city
00:54:39.900 deploy with M4 carbines
00:54:44.280 in ceramic-plated hard vests
00:54:46.660 at his home
00:54:48.140 and arrest him
00:54:49.240 in front of his wife
00:54:50.040 and seven children
00:54:51.080 on that dismissed misdemeanor,
00:54:55.080 which he finally won in court,
00:54:56.660 thank good Lord.
00:54:58.200 We have political use of police.
00:55:01.900 When a misdemeanor,
00:55:04.200 business misstatement,
00:55:06.760 misdemeanor charge
00:55:08.680 from eight years ago,
00:55:11.220 which expired
00:55:12.060 due to the statute of limitations
00:55:13.560 six years ago,
00:55:15.020 is now magically,
00:55:16.320 alchemically
00:55:16.960 turned into 34 felonies
00:55:19.180 by a Manhattan district attorney
00:55:21.360 who received a million dollars
00:55:23.140 from George Soros' funding
00:55:25.280 via a cut-through NGO
00:55:27.060 after he said
00:55:28.860 on his campaign for election,
00:55:30.560 my number one priority
00:55:32.060 is to put President Trump in prison.
00:55:33.940 I don't laugh at my fellow conservatives.
00:55:36.820 We have police state tactics.
00:55:39.240 Not far from where we are sitting,
00:55:40.860 there is a jail in D.C.,
00:55:42.980 in the heart of D.C.,
00:55:44.160 where there are people still in prison
00:55:45.980 from the January 6 riots,
00:55:48.800 didn't kill anybody,
00:55:50.480 didn't do anything
00:55:51.600 that goes beyond a slap on the wrist
00:55:54.120 and a fine,
00:55:54.940 who have yet to be arraigned
00:55:57.060 before a judge.
00:55:58.180 The U.S. Constitution,
00:55:59.820 which is based on British principles,
00:56:01.320 is clear.
00:56:02.280 Every human being
00:56:03.460 has a right to swift justice.
00:56:06.360 You must be charged
00:56:08.020 within a matter of days
00:56:09.800 to be told what your crime is.
00:56:12.960 They've been in prison for two years,
00:56:15.140 some in solitary,
00:56:16.520 without being charged.
00:56:18.620 That is not a mess up.
00:56:20.760 It is a conscious decision
00:56:22.860 to politically use
00:56:24.880 the tools of the state.
00:56:26.680 So for me,
00:56:28.200 the reason I am voting
00:56:29.920 for President Trump
00:56:30.680 and supporting him,
00:56:31.620 I need somebody
00:56:32.500 to come back into the city
00:56:33.620 and burn the corrupt
00:56:36.700 shithole to the ground.
00:56:40.360 And there's only one man in America
00:56:42.200 who cannot be re-elected
00:56:45.500 if he becomes president.
00:56:47.380 There's only one man in America
00:56:48.760 who's been president once
00:56:50.280 and is running again.
00:56:52.260 In the Constitution,
00:56:53.060 you can only have two terms.
00:56:54.520 They can be separated,
00:56:55.340 but two terms.
00:56:56.240 Every other candidate,
00:56:57.320 from Ron DeSantis to Nikki Haley,
00:57:00.580 would want to be re-elected
00:57:01.720 after their first term,
00:57:02.540 which means they're going to behave,
00:57:04.340 not do anything radical.
00:57:05.920 I want radical.
00:57:07.260 In the name of democracy,
00:57:09.940 republicanism,
00:57:11.660 equality before the law,
00:57:13.000 I want radical changes.
00:57:15.080 I want departments of this city
00:57:17.020 to be moved out.
00:57:17.880 D.C. has become,
00:57:19.180 93% of D.C. voted for Hillary Clinton
00:57:21.600 and Biden.
00:57:23.000 That's like Saddam Hussein's
00:57:24.460 electoral popularity.
00:57:26.000 If you are charged
00:57:27.020 with a crime in this city
00:57:27.920 and you are known
00:57:28.380 to be a conservative like me,
00:57:29.720 you're toast.
00:57:30.600 You are done.
00:57:31.280 The jury pool is going to
00:57:32.920 just send you away
00:57:34.260 for as long as they can.
00:57:36.300 That's not right.
00:57:37.260 I want the CIA to be reformed.
00:57:39.920 I want the FBI to be abolished.
00:57:41.440 I want the Department of Education,
00:57:43.240 Department of Agriculture,
00:57:44.160 the State Department,
00:57:44.840 to be moved to Montana,
00:57:46.340 to South Dakota,
00:57:47.440 where patriotic Americans live
00:57:49.460 and where the permanent
00:57:51.120 state bureaucrats
00:57:52.260 who think they know better
00:57:53.420 than the people
00:57:54.380 will not want to live and work.
00:57:57.200 Whether it's Brexit,
00:57:58.380 whether it's Modi,
00:57:59.260 whether it's Orban,
00:58:01.680 who I'm not a fan of,
00:58:02.380 but we can talk about that separately,
00:58:03.820 whether it's Maloney in Italy,
00:58:06.260 there is an international philomena
00:58:07.880 that must be understood.
00:58:09.840 It is the reassertion
00:58:11.120 of the will of the people
00:58:12.560 and the elite must destroy that.
00:58:15.900 That's why Brexit was tried,
00:58:18.220 how many times they tried
00:58:19.040 to null Brexit?
00:58:20.660 Why?
00:58:21.040 How dare you choose that,
00:58:22.980 British people?
00:58:24.020 That's the problem.
00:58:25.300 And it has come to a crescendo point
00:58:27.340 where I only see one person
00:58:29.280 who has a chance,
00:58:31.380 and I don't even know
00:58:31.940 if he can do it,
00:58:32.800 but who has a chance
00:58:34.360 to somewhat bring the will
00:58:38.360 of the people back into politics.
00:58:40.880 But Seb, there are the people as well
00:58:42.640 who will say that Trump's behaviour
00:58:44.880 after he lost the election
00:58:46.420 wasn't acceptable.
00:58:48.420 His rhetoric was inflammatory,
00:58:50.320 it was divisive,
00:58:52.080 and he put American democracy in danger.
00:58:56.020 Yeah, I would say
00:58:57.480 81 million mailed out ballots
00:59:00.480 and sending the FBI
00:59:01.660 to arrest pro-life preachers,
00:59:04.460 that's the real threat to democracy.
00:59:06.320 I would say having a Speaker of the House,
00:59:08.200 Nancy Pelosi,
00:59:08.800 who we've got rid of,
00:59:09.800 for four years,
00:59:11.280 four years,
00:59:12.460 openly refused to call
00:59:14.140 the man elected
00:59:15.380 by 64 million Americans president.
00:59:17.780 She called him
00:59:18.260 the current incumbent
00:59:19.780 of the White House.
00:59:22.060 That's the threat to democracy.
00:59:23.040 The Speaker of the House
00:59:24.160 refuses to recognise
00:59:25.260 the writ of the people.
00:59:27.200 The left has become
00:59:28.460 the threat to democracy.
00:59:29.740 Why?
00:59:30.540 Because everything they say about us,
00:59:32.480 they're actually practising.
00:59:34.180 Right now,
00:59:35.020 not far from where we're sitting,
00:59:36.920 are the homes in Virginia
00:59:38.120 of the Associate Supreme Court Justices.
00:59:40.200 These are the most powerful
00:59:42.640 legal minds in the world,
00:59:44.520 Democrat and Republican.
00:59:46.380 The Republicans live in Virginia.
00:59:48.240 Their houses have been picketed
00:59:49.760 since the decision
00:59:51.420 on Roe v. Wade
00:59:52.520 in abortion was leaked.
00:59:54.280 It is a crime,
00:59:56.320 a federal crime in America,
00:59:58.580 to picket a judge's home
01:00:01.100 because you're exerting
01:00:02.600 political pressure
01:00:03.380 on somebody
01:00:04.240 who's meant to be apolitical.
01:00:06.100 The Department of Justice
01:00:07.560 under Biden
01:00:08.180 refuses to do anything about it.
01:00:09.840 Nothing.
01:00:11.040 One airman leaks,
01:00:13.120 you know,
01:00:13.480 top-secret documents
01:00:14.400 because he's flexing.
01:00:15.700 And you see the footage?
01:00:17.440 An FBI SWAT team
01:00:19.580 in full battle rattle
01:00:20.920 in an APC
01:00:22.360 arrested a 21-year-old kid
01:00:25.240 in full battle rattle.
01:00:28.700 But the Supreme Court Justice's homes.
01:00:31.520 We had one justice
01:00:32.520 who was almost killed
01:00:34.060 by a pro-abortion activist
01:00:35.620 who travelled from California
01:00:36.640 to Virginia
01:00:37.200 with a gun,
01:00:37.840 with a Glock,
01:00:38.580 with a knife,
01:00:39.180 with zip ties
01:00:39.780 to kill him and his family.
01:00:41.400 This isn't a theory.
01:00:42.440 This is a real threat.
01:00:43.340 So for me,
01:00:44.280 the left is by far
01:00:45.660 the biggest problem.
01:00:46.520 No, but France's point
01:00:47.400 is something else,
01:00:48.180 which is that,
01:00:49.520 look,
01:00:50.860 whatever you,
01:00:51.720 I didn't think
01:00:52.340 what happened on January the 6th
01:00:54.040 was a good thing.
01:00:54.660 I also didn't think
01:00:55.220 it was an insurrection.
01:00:56.560 Right.
01:00:56.660 But if you were designing
01:00:57.760 an election from scratch,
01:00:58.900 that's not how you'd want it
01:00:59.980 to end up.
01:01:00.620 Yes, I agree.
01:01:01.120 And so the outcome of that
01:01:04.560 is that, you know,
01:01:05.500 when we had Faraj on the show,
01:01:06.680 he said there are no votes
01:01:07.840 to be won on January the 6th.
01:01:09.760 Yeah, no, absolutely.
01:01:11.080 I thought,
01:01:11.900 I mean,
01:01:12.220 I was broadcasting live
01:01:13.360 when January 6th happened
01:01:14.160 and I had a former US attorney
01:01:16.260 on air
01:01:17.620 who was responsible
01:01:19.060 for securing the capital
01:01:20.240 when he was the US attorney.
01:01:21.960 And we were watching it
01:01:22.740 in real time
01:01:23.220 and I admitted to myself
01:01:25.220 and I said it on air
01:01:26.060 two weeks later,
01:01:28.140 President Trump's
01:01:28.920 political future is,
01:01:31.260 it's on a thread.
01:01:33.340 He, he, he,
01:01:34.220 the best thing he could do
01:01:35.080 is disappear for a year
01:01:35.920 and not say anything,
01:01:37.080 which of course he didn't.
01:01:38.180 Right.
01:01:40.960 But, but my response
01:01:41.960 is the following.
01:01:43.640 Even if your opinions
01:01:44.620 are justified,
01:01:46.420 kind of irrelevant
01:01:47.120 because you know what I like?
01:01:48.940 I like the will of the people.
01:01:51.620 Let the will of the people decide.
01:01:53.820 We have, you know,
01:01:54.640 I have been explicit.
01:01:55.720 I worked for President Trump.
01:01:57.140 I support President Trump.
01:01:58.500 But you know what?
01:01:59.040 I want a primary.
01:01:59.980 I don't want Ron DeSantis
01:02:01.620 anointed because he's
01:02:03.120 not so mean on Twitter.
01:02:04.640 I don't want
01:02:05.360 President Trump anointed.
01:02:07.200 You don't?
01:02:08.220 No.
01:02:08.500 Because I hear a lot of people
01:02:09.520 saying, oh, DeSantis
01:02:10.300 should stand down.
01:02:11.680 You know, he needs to get
01:02:12.560 behind the president.
01:02:13.520 You don't want that.
01:02:14.080 I would like,
01:02:14.940 if he had the balls to do it,
01:02:16.460 which apparently
01:02:17.120 he doesn't seem to right now,
01:02:18.520 I want him on that stage.
01:02:19.720 Look, let's be,
01:02:20.260 let's be serious.
01:02:22.260 2015, I'm a political junkie.
01:02:24.340 But 2015 was epic.
01:02:26.040 Epic.
01:02:27.620 I mean, can we just
01:02:28.580 thank the good Lord
01:02:29.800 for one thing Donald Trump did,
01:02:31.560 apart from call out
01:02:32.320 the lying fake news media?
01:02:34.080 He made politics fun again.
01:02:36.300 Yeah.
01:02:36.600 How fun was politics?
01:02:37.900 I would like to see
01:02:38.720 not 17 people on the stage.
01:02:40.220 Let's have, you know,
01:02:41.060 27 people.
01:02:42.320 And the toughest guy or gal,
01:02:44.220 you know, duking it out
01:02:45.420 is the last person standing.
01:02:46.940 And I've said from the beginning,
01:02:48.880 you know,
01:02:49.260 I'm an immigrant to America,
01:02:50.660 but I've heard of this thing
01:02:51.680 called primaries.
01:02:52.780 Let's have them.
01:02:53.940 Anybody who wants to run,
01:02:54.940 Vivek, I love Vivek Ramaswamy.
01:02:56.880 Super smart guy.
01:02:58.000 I'd love to see Vivek.
01:02:59.060 I told him on my show,
01:03:00.140 I would like you to be
01:03:01.480 the Jared Kushner
01:03:02.880 of the next Trump administration.
01:03:04.360 I want you to be the,
01:03:05.200 you know,
01:03:05.420 the business innovation,
01:03:06.760 forward thinking,
01:03:07.560 cabinet member.
01:03:08.580 I don't think he's got
01:03:09.160 a shot at presidency,
01:03:10.720 but you're a smart guy.
01:03:11.800 Come on in, join the club.
01:03:12.980 But I'd love to see him
01:03:13.820 on a debate stage,
01:03:15.080 you know,
01:03:15.840 test my boss,
01:03:17.320 come up with some,
01:03:18.220 you know,
01:03:18.780 creative combinations of ideas.
01:03:22.500 But no,
01:03:23.380 I,
01:03:24.040 to your point,
01:03:24.820 yeah,
01:03:24.980 whatever happened on January 6th
01:03:26.140 and however the president
01:03:26.920 responded afterwards,
01:03:27.800 which was suboptimal,
01:03:29.080 let's put it diplomatically,
01:03:31.800 okay,
01:03:32.680 he's declared.
01:03:34.460 So,
01:03:35.480 let the people decide.
01:03:36.680 Oh, sure.
01:03:37.080 Yeah.
01:03:37.460 Completely.
01:03:37.940 So,
01:03:38.520 with that in mind,
01:03:39.520 primaries,
01:03:40.240 competition,
01:03:40.800 which I like that you said that
01:03:42.120 because that's how I feel
01:03:43.040 about democracy,
01:03:43.960 I don't understand why people
01:03:44.960 wouldn't want certain candidates
01:03:46.320 to run.
01:03:47.040 Right.
01:03:48.000 What's wrong with DeSantis?
01:03:50.100 Um,
01:03:50.500 so here's some-
01:03:51.280 He's done a great job in Florida.
01:03:52.180 He has,
01:03:52.640 but why?
01:03:54.500 Why?
01:03:55.720 Everybody loves Austin Powers,
01:03:57.180 right?
01:03:58.600 Because Ron DeSantis
01:03:59.520 is the mini-me
01:04:00.620 of President Trump.
01:04:02.360 What he's doing in Florida
01:04:03.460 is like a scaled-down version
01:04:04.860 of America First
01:04:05.620 but applied to one state.
01:04:07.100 So,
01:04:07.540 you know,
01:04:08.120 as Bill Maher
01:04:09.540 said recently,
01:04:10.720 why would you go
01:04:12.820 to the tribute band's
01:04:14.140 concert
01:04:15.640 if the OG band
01:04:17.220 is still playing?
01:04:18.780 Good point.
01:04:19.540 Why would you vote
01:04:20.200 for the mini-me version
01:04:21.080 who can kind of do stuff
01:04:22.200 at that level on the state
01:04:23.240 where there's no background
01:04:24.260 in foreign policy,
01:04:25.380 no chops on national security?
01:04:27.780 Why would you-
01:04:28.680 It's a pig in a poke.
01:04:29.600 It's,
01:04:30.000 you know,
01:04:30.380 you don't know.
01:04:31.400 So,
01:04:31.700 let me-
01:04:32.640 First thing,
01:04:33.160 I want him on the
01:04:33.960 platform.
01:04:35.560 I want him on the primary.
01:04:36.600 But here are the problems
01:04:37.780 with Ron.
01:04:39.800 My buddy who has
01:04:40.640 the morning show
01:04:41.240 here on radio
01:04:41.840 who is my show prep,
01:04:43.540 keeps millions of people sane.
01:04:45.460 He was talking about
01:04:46.200 Ron DeSantis running
01:04:47.180 for governor
01:04:47.700 way back when,
01:04:48.680 whatever it was,
01:04:49.260 three years ago.
01:04:50.240 And he said,
01:04:51.660 this three-term congressman
01:04:53.720 from Florida,
01:04:55.660 and we help each other around,
01:04:57.000 and I was just about
01:04:57.700 to text him live on air
01:04:59.200 and say,
01:04:59.660 Chris,
01:05:00.220 what are you talking about?
01:05:02.820 Three-term congressman.
01:05:04.620 You've got to have
01:05:05.200 your fact-checkers
01:05:05.900 do their work.
01:05:06.560 And then I thought,
01:05:08.900 okay,
01:05:09.100 before I press send,
01:05:10.760 I'm going to Google
01:05:12.240 his CV.
01:05:14.800 Oh, yeah.
01:05:15.560 Chris was right.
01:05:16.660 He'd served
01:05:17.180 five and a half years
01:05:18.260 in congress.
01:05:19.300 And me,
01:05:20.580 a political junkie,
01:05:22.000 had no idea.
01:05:23.280 If you've been
01:05:24.220 in congress
01:05:25.000 for three terms
01:05:26.300 and I haven't heard
01:05:27.240 your name,
01:05:28.620 odds are
01:05:29.160 you're probably
01:05:30.000 an oxygen thief.
01:05:31.960 Secondly,
01:05:33.020 a couple of issues
01:05:33.900 that really
01:05:35.280 disturb me
01:05:35.900 one of his biggest
01:05:37.100 backers now
01:05:37.580 is Ken Griffin.
01:05:38.580 Ken Griffin
01:05:39.080 is a billionaire
01:05:40.220 hedge fund
01:05:42.160 tech guy
01:05:42.760 or what have you
01:05:43.480 who is a never-Trumper
01:05:45.400 who was Obama's
01:05:46.740 biggest bundler.
01:05:48.640 Excuse me?
01:05:50.360 Why is Obama's,
01:05:52.500 if you're conservative,
01:05:53.640 biggest campaign
01:05:55.240 funding bundler,
01:05:57.580 one of the biggest
01:05:58.860 people funding somebody
01:06:01.200 who's supposed to be
01:06:02.040 the new Donald Trump,
01:06:03.760 my fear is
01:06:04.900 that they are
01:06:07.240 whispering sweet nothings
01:06:08.420 in his ears
01:06:08.960 saying,
01:06:09.600 you're the guy,
01:06:10.680 you're the guy,
01:06:11.820 and he's being exploited
01:06:13.400 by the establishment
01:06:14.920 rhino class,
01:06:16.000 the Republicans
01:06:16.680 in name only.
01:06:18.280 And I've looked
01:06:19.040 in the camera
01:06:19.660 on my show
01:06:20.220 and said,
01:06:20.480 Ron,
01:06:21.320 run for president,
01:06:22.380 good on you.
01:06:23.260 Don't let yourself
01:06:24.220 become a tool
01:06:25.180 of the establishment
01:06:26.460 that hates
01:06:27.580 populist MAGA,
01:06:29.780 America first,
01:06:30.480 whatever you want
01:06:30.900 to call it.
01:06:31.680 And the last thing is
01:06:32.380 where this is where
01:06:33.080 he tanked
01:06:33.840 in the last few weeks
01:06:35.000 his flip-flop on Ukraine.
01:06:37.140 This is the guy
01:06:37.820 who has to prove most
01:06:38.820 that he's good
01:06:39.780 on foreign policy
01:06:40.600 as a former Navy officer.
01:06:43.240 His flip-flop on Ukraine
01:06:44.540 within 72 hours
01:06:45.840 was a disaster
01:06:47.400 and it showed
01:06:48.200 in the polls.
01:06:49.400 And then most telling
01:06:50.320 of all
01:06:50.900 is his response
01:06:52.020 to the leak
01:06:52.520 of the indictment
01:06:53.200 against President Trump.
01:06:54.100 His first press conference
01:06:57.080 on the Monday
01:06:57.620 after it was leaked
01:06:58.260 on Saturday
01:06:58.840 was catastrophic.
01:07:01.060 A, he decided
01:07:02.040 not to talk about it
01:07:03.220 despite the fact
01:07:04.700 that President Trump
01:07:05.440 lives in the state
01:07:06.140 he is the governor of
01:07:07.180 in Florida.
01:07:08.820 Then in the Q&A
01:07:09.940 on something
01:07:11.380 about tech
01:07:12.460 a journalist
01:07:13.700 naturally said,
01:07:14.640 could you react
01:07:15.460 to the leaked indictment
01:07:16.360 of President Trump?
01:07:18.120 And twice,
01:07:18.680 not once,
01:07:19.200 twice,
01:07:19.740 like a churlish
01:07:20.400 little punk
01:07:20.980 in the schoolyard
01:07:21.740 he mentions,
01:07:23.240 well,
01:07:23.460 I'm not going to comment
01:07:24.560 on hush money
01:07:25.880 for porn stars.
01:07:27.280 Grow up, Ron.
01:07:29.320 If you're a conservative
01:07:30.360 you believe
01:07:31.180 in law and order
01:07:32.440 and that lady justice
01:07:33.640 is blindfolded.
01:07:34.960 So you're going to make fun.
01:07:36.860 I know, you know,
01:07:37.440 it's kind of fun
01:07:38.140 to dig
01:07:38.760 and say hush money
01:07:39.880 for porn stars
01:07:40.560 but not only are you
01:07:42.000 the governor
01:07:42.640 of the state
01:07:43.080 in which the citizen resides
01:07:44.700 who should have
01:07:45.440 equality before the law
01:07:46.420 whether he's a former
01:07:47.100 president or not.
01:07:48.320 Secondly,
01:07:48.780 and you have to
01:07:49.400 know his background,
01:07:50.540 he was a jag.
01:07:51.220 He was a member
01:07:52.720 of the Judge Advocate
01:07:53.520 General Corps
01:07:54.200 for the Navy
01:07:54.960 which means
01:07:55.560 he was a prosecutor.
01:07:57.440 He was a lawyer.
01:07:59.140 If anyone
01:08:00.160 should have
01:08:00.800 something to say
01:08:02.040 about politically
01:08:03.560 aggressive prosecutors
01:08:05.080 doing things
01:08:06.620 that are shady,
01:08:08.040 it should probably
01:08:09.300 be a former
01:08:10.280 military prosecutor.
01:08:12.200 And he paid
01:08:13.500 the price.
01:08:14.120 And in the polls
01:08:14.660 he's between
01:08:15.280 20 to 40 points
01:08:17.000 behind President Trump.
01:08:17.940 But good luck to him.
01:08:20.160 But, you know,
01:08:20.980 not impressive so far
01:08:22.720 in these issues.
01:08:24.840 President Trump
01:08:25.500 and Ukraine.
01:08:28.140 Do you think
01:08:28.780 he stands a chance?
01:08:29.960 No.
01:08:33.160 Nobody.
01:08:33.800 Look, Kissinger,
01:08:34.680 not a big fan of Trump
01:08:35.660 although he used
01:08:36.540 to hang out
01:08:36.940 in the White House
01:08:37.500 almost every weekend.
01:08:38.660 He loved to be back
01:08:39.520 in the halls of power
01:08:41.040 when we were there.
01:08:42.720 Kissinger has said
01:08:43.560 and he's been around.
01:08:44.840 I mean,
01:08:45.100 he's been around.
01:08:45.960 He hasn't seen
01:08:48.280 anybody mobilize
01:08:49.240 Americans
01:08:49.920 like President Trump
01:08:51.000 does since FDR.
01:08:53.600 When Kissinger says
01:08:54.760 the power of this man
01:08:55.780 to mobilize Americans
01:08:57.320 hasn't been seen
01:09:00.160 since Roosevelt,
01:09:03.460 you probably should
01:09:04.300 pay attention.
01:09:05.140 And let's just
01:09:05.860 be empirical.
01:09:07.020 One of the funniest
01:09:07.640 things about the
01:09:08.200 campaign in 15,
01:09:09.660 because I'd be advising
01:09:10.420 President Trump
01:09:10.960 on national security,
01:09:12.300 is I'd go to
01:09:12.860 Trump Tower
01:09:13.300 into the campaign
01:09:13.780 headquarters
01:09:14.200 with some regularity.
01:09:16.420 And I'd be in there
01:09:17.140 constantly overhearing
01:09:18.740 the conversations of,
01:09:19.920 yeah,
01:09:20.180 we booked Mr. Trump
01:09:21.360 for this high school stadium
01:09:22.620 but it's already overflowing.
01:09:24.340 We've got to go
01:09:24.840 to the next one.
01:09:26.040 You get the local
01:09:26.620 state football.
01:09:28.320 The popular,
01:09:29.880 they were constantly
01:09:30.620 having to cancel
01:09:31.400 engagements
01:09:32.000 and go to bigger venues
01:09:33.180 because this is
01:09:34.260 the only man in America
01:09:35.400 who can announce
01:09:37.300 tomorrow
01:09:38.160 I'm going to Miami
01:09:39.820 or Poughkeepsie
01:09:41.020 or anywhere
01:09:41.760 and fill a stadium
01:09:43.240 with 60,000 people.
01:09:45.440 Biden could get six.
01:09:47.180 Ron,
01:09:47.940 maybe ten.
01:09:49.600 This man,
01:09:50.800 anywhere,
01:09:51.620 even in Democrat states,
01:09:53.880 so can get the people.
01:09:55.700 I flew with him
01:09:56.780 on Air Force One
01:09:57.740 to Youngstown, Ohio.
01:10:00.000 Youngstown is the rust belt.
01:10:02.000 Okay?
01:10:02.460 It's the part of America
01:10:04.040 that's been destroyed.
01:10:04.680 We were riding
01:10:07.160 in the convoy
01:10:07.920 to the stadium
01:10:08.660 and on the left
01:10:10.280 all you saw
01:10:10.880 was disused,
01:10:11.980 empty,
01:10:12.540 shattered steel mills.
01:10:14.140 On the right,
01:10:14.980 families dressed
01:10:15.800 very modestly,
01:10:17.220 standing on the pavement
01:10:18.500 waving their stars
01:10:20.040 and stripes.
01:10:20.920 We got to the stadium.
01:10:22.400 Boss was in the back
01:10:23.280 glad-handing
01:10:23.880 with the VIPs.
01:10:25.560 I decided to go
01:10:26.280 into the pit of the stadium
01:10:27.260 and meet with
01:10:28.060 the people of Youngstown
01:10:29.480 and the selfies
01:10:31.000 and all that jazz.
01:10:33.100 When President Trump
01:10:33.980 and Melania
01:10:34.940 came out on stage,
01:10:37.060 it was electric.
01:10:38.180 He couldn't start
01:10:39.320 his speech
01:10:40.060 because for minutes
01:10:41.700 the crowd spontaneously
01:10:43.180 were chanting
01:10:43.900 USA, USA, USA.
01:10:46.940 This,
01:10:48.460 in a town
01:10:49.320 that is 90% Democrat,
01:10:52.080 the people in that stadium
01:10:53.280 were Democrats,
01:10:55.000 their dads were Democrats,
01:10:56.380 their granddads
01:10:57.140 were Democrats.
01:10:58.840 That's a force of nature.
01:11:00.480 Whether you like
01:11:01.040 his tweets or not,
01:11:02.480 the fact that
01:11:03.180 working-class Americans
01:11:04.860 who have been betrayed
01:11:06.660 by the Uniparty
01:11:07.720 for 60 years
01:11:08.860 look at this billionaire
01:11:10.460 as a guy who cares,
01:11:13.200 it's an unstoppable
01:11:15.560 force of nature.
01:11:17.200 So the difficulty is,
01:11:18.560 and I'm not even playing
01:11:19.500 devil's advocate here,
01:11:20.400 which is kind of my job,
01:11:21.300 but actually this is
01:11:22.180 what I genuinely,
01:11:23.200 a question in my mind is,
01:11:25.100 there are two elements
01:11:27.560 to winning an election.
01:11:28.860 One is what you're talking about,
01:11:30.280 which is mobilizing the votes.
01:11:31.420 The other one
01:11:32.820 is persuading the undecided.
01:11:34.900 Correct.
01:11:35.880 And that is undoubtedly
01:11:38.420 the problem
01:11:40.640 with President Trump's approach.
01:11:43.360 Right?
01:11:43.780 Now,
01:11:44.580 you made the point yourself,
01:11:46.680 and you articulated it very well,
01:11:48.200 at the last election,
01:11:49.380 he mobilized
01:11:50.320 more of his base
01:11:51.720 than any incumbent president
01:11:54.280 in history.
01:11:55.740 But at the same time,
01:11:56.900 he still lost.
01:11:58.200 And his ability to persuade
01:11:59.800 is extremely limited now,
01:12:02.620 I think,
01:12:02.960 because of his rhetoric,
01:12:04.520 but also January the 6th
01:12:05.940 and also the indictment, right?
01:12:07.220 The people who are the undecideds,
01:12:09.020 they're going to be harder
01:12:09.620 to win over for him.
01:12:10.760 And the reason people
01:12:11.680 are talking about DeSantis
01:12:13.340 is that they see him
01:12:15.920 as very competent
01:12:16.680 in terms of the things he did,
01:12:18.660 particularly COVID.
01:12:19.500 I think that was a big deal
01:12:20.420 for a lot of people,
01:12:21.240 the things that he's done there.
01:12:22.460 And many other things
01:12:24.120 that he's doing in Florida.
01:12:25.720 And on top of that,
01:12:26.880 because he does not have,
01:12:28.860 you're right,
01:12:29.500 he doesn't animate people
01:12:30.600 in the same way,
01:12:31.320 but animation can go
01:12:32.360 in both directions.
01:12:33.360 So he doesn't off-put
01:12:35.140 as many people,
01:12:36.420 or put off as many people
01:12:37.540 as President Trump does.
01:12:38.960 And that's why I think
01:12:39.960 a lot of people on your side
01:12:41.400 are saying,
01:12:42.280 well, maybe if we just get this guy,
01:12:44.060 who I agree with you,
01:12:45.100 he is in some ways
01:12:47.520 taking on a lot of the,
01:12:49.820 you know,
01:12:50.380 the gestures of President Trump.
01:12:52.360 And Trump and the finger.
01:12:54.300 Well, making fun of the press
01:12:55.360 and everything.
01:12:55.900 Right.
01:12:56.320 Right.
01:12:56.860 But he isn't going to have
01:12:58.360 the toxicity.
01:12:59.920 And as a result,
01:13:00.900 he is a better candidate
01:13:01.980 to actually try to heal
01:13:03.880 some of the divides
01:13:04.800 in this country.
01:13:05.460 That's the argument.
01:13:06.900 So, you know,
01:13:08.200 to be the bastard
01:13:09.740 or to sound like Trump's pitbull,
01:13:11.820 I'm not interested
01:13:12.640 in healing divides.
01:13:13.740 I want to save the nation.
01:13:16.120 Healing divides-
01:13:16.640 Isn't that the same thing?
01:13:17.420 No.
01:13:18.040 No, no, no.
01:13:18.600 No, no, no.
01:13:19.220 No, no, no.
01:13:19.680 It's a difference between,
01:13:20.800 in military terms,
01:13:21.980 there's a tank
01:13:23.560 five clicks away
01:13:24.520 over the horizon
01:13:25.460 that can blow me
01:13:27.280 to smithereens.
01:13:28.220 But there's a guy
01:13:28.960 in front of me
01:13:29.620 with a gun
01:13:30.180 with a bayonet
01:13:30.820 and he's about
01:13:31.280 to put it in my guts.
01:13:33.320 The situation
01:13:34.240 in America right now
01:13:35.080 is there's a guy
01:13:36.000 with a bayonet
01:13:36.660 coming for me
01:13:37.760 two feet away.
01:13:39.960 When the FBI
01:13:40.800 is doing what they're doing,
01:13:42.240 when parents
01:13:44.300 are being targeted
01:13:45.280 by the Department of Justice
01:13:47.180 because they dare
01:13:48.600 to say,
01:13:49.300 we don't want
01:13:50.140 pedophilic pornography
01:13:51.880 in the school library.
01:13:54.180 We don't want
01:13:55.420 racist concepts
01:13:57.780 like critical race theory
01:13:58.720 to be taught
01:13:59.260 to 10-year-olds
01:14:00.560 and we want our kids
01:14:01.780 back in school
01:14:02.400 without masks.
01:14:03.480 And the FBI
01:14:04.240 has actually created
01:14:05.340 a threat tag.
01:14:06.500 It's getting technical,
01:14:08.360 but they created
01:14:09.040 a whole terminology
01:14:10.580 to use
01:14:11.340 Patriot Act
01:14:13.280 counterterrorism tools
01:14:14.680 to target parents.
01:14:17.000 And now we know
01:14:17.640 Catholics.
01:14:18.660 A recent memo
01:14:19.380 was leaked
01:14:19.860 from Richmond
01:14:20.620 FBI headquarters,
01:14:22.740 FBI field office,
01:14:24.320 saying,
01:14:25.440 watch out
01:14:26.000 and make sure
01:14:26.720 you surveil
01:14:27.580 Catholics
01:14:28.820 who go to
01:14:29.420 traditional masses,
01:14:31.020 especially Latin masses,
01:14:32.540 as potential threats
01:14:33.460 to America.
01:14:35.400 Not BLM,
01:14:36.980 not Antifa,
01:14:39.080 Catholics.
01:14:39.880 There has been
01:14:40.620 no attack
01:14:41.860 that I know of
01:14:43.120 since I've lived
01:14:43.620 in America
01:14:44.040 that was because
01:14:45.140 of people
01:14:46.060 who went to
01:14:46.700 Latin mass
01:14:48.320 as Catholics.
01:14:50.700 The bayonet
01:14:51.880 is inching
01:14:52.580 towards the sternum
01:14:53.800 of this nation.
01:14:55.700 We can heal
01:14:57.180 after we stop
01:14:59.640 the corruption
01:15:00.280 in this city.
01:15:01.420 The political weaponization
01:15:03.060 of the most powerful
01:15:04.100 government
01:15:04.520 in the world
01:15:06.200 must be stopped.
01:15:07.640 And I'm sorry,
01:15:08.720 Ron DeSantis
01:15:09.500 doesn't have the balls
01:15:10.720 or the maturity
01:15:11.580 to do it.
01:15:12.080 And there's one man
01:15:13.000 who's lived,
01:15:13.960 walked through
01:15:14.540 the arena
01:15:16.040 for four years,
01:15:17.460 six years now,
01:15:19.440 who
01:15:19.540 has more potential
01:15:23.820 than anyone
01:15:24.500 to fix it.
01:15:25.720 And to your point
01:15:26.500 about winning,
01:15:27.860 there is a very,
01:15:28.680 I mean,
01:15:28.900 we're all political junkies.
01:15:30.240 There's a very disturbing fact
01:15:31.360 in American politics.
01:15:33.440 Between 20% and 32%
01:15:35.180 of the electorate
01:15:35.940 decide who they're going
01:15:36.960 to vote on
01:15:37.700 in a presidential election
01:15:39.060 in the last eight days,
01:15:40.860 which blows my mind.
01:15:41.760 I mean,
01:15:42.180 you're in a tribe.
01:15:43.660 Yes,
01:15:43.900 you are in a tribe.
01:15:44.560 You're in a tribe
01:15:45.240 as well as I am.
01:15:46.400 We love the West.
01:15:47.980 But the idea
01:15:48.680 that you could go
01:15:49.740 from Jimmy Carter
01:15:51.200 to Reagan
01:15:51.980 in the last week
01:15:53.640 before an election,
01:15:54.580 like,
01:15:54.940 kind of flip a coin,
01:15:55.920 like,
01:15:56.320 what?
01:15:58.260 My contention,
01:16:00.140 my hope,
01:16:00.840 I can't prove it,
01:16:01.980 is that things
01:16:03.480 will be so,
01:16:04.740 so bad
01:16:06.160 in 20 months' time
01:16:08.520 that the undecideds,
01:16:11.140 the middle of the road,
01:16:12.320 will vote for President Trump
01:16:13.620 not because he's MAGA
01:16:14.900 or because he's going
01:16:15.940 to drain the deep state,
01:16:17.940 but because,
01:16:19.640 I mean,
01:16:19.860 I don't know if you followed
01:16:20.660 this in England.
01:16:22.480 Recently,
01:16:23.460 we didn't have baby formula
01:16:25.680 in America.
01:16:28.100 We had a baby formula drought.
01:16:31.080 You went to the local,
01:16:32.900 you know,
01:16:33.620 Safeway,
01:16:34.460 and the shelf was empty.
01:16:37.180 This is the only nation
01:16:38.340 on God's green earth
01:16:39.860 that put 12 men
01:16:41.880 on the moon.
01:16:43.780 We went there six times,
01:16:45.260 but we don't have baby formula?
01:16:47.940 We had a disastrous
01:16:49.380 train accident,
01:16:51.740 chemical waste,
01:16:53.260 inferno.
01:16:54.400 It took the government
01:16:55.580 14 days
01:16:57.260 to go to the site
01:16:58.460 of the disaster
01:16:59.140 as if the people
01:17:00.600 in this Trump
01:17:01.720 working class district
01:17:03.360 didn't really matter.
01:17:06.260 If you look at inflation,
01:17:08.460 if you look at
01:17:09.500 the incapacity of kids
01:17:12.020 to buy property
01:17:12.900 and start on the ladder,
01:17:15.260 it's going to get worse.
01:17:18.560 So my hope is
01:17:19.480 it's not cool campaign ads
01:17:21.640 or polite tweets
01:17:23.300 that are going to save us.
01:17:25.000 It's going to be
01:17:26.860 that so many people
01:17:27.600 are going to say,
01:17:28.240 I'm sorry.
01:17:29.660 The pendulum
01:17:30.220 has to swing back.
01:17:32.040 We'll find out
01:17:32.860 if that happens.
01:17:33.500 We will.
01:17:33.980 One last question
01:17:34.860 before we go.
01:17:35.460 Let's talk about
01:17:35.900 your political hero,
01:17:36.780 Joe Biden.
01:17:38.880 Slow Joe.
01:17:40.320 Beijing Biden.
01:17:41.320 Yeah.
01:17:42.300 Is he going to run again?
01:17:43.860 He thinks he is
01:17:44.800 and Jill,
01:17:45.640 you can tell Jill,
01:17:46.900 Jill has voted
01:17:47.960 on that one already.
01:17:48.980 I cannot believe
01:17:52.480 the DNC,
01:17:53.400 the Democrat National Convention
01:17:55.520 will allow him to.
01:17:59.800 How do you stop a man
01:18:00.980 who is the president
01:18:01.720 from running?
01:18:03.800 It's a tough question.
01:18:06.020 You indict him.
01:18:09.720 Sorry.
01:18:10.440 So I'm approaching
01:18:11.820 your question with logic.
01:18:13.520 So the left
01:18:14.460 is no longer driven by logic.
01:18:16.700 I cannot predict for you
01:18:18.240 what an irrational entity
01:18:19.280 will do.
01:18:20.120 He's running.
01:18:21.040 His wife thinks he's running.
01:18:22.900 The DNC
01:18:24.120 looked to be throwing him
01:18:26.840 under the bus continually.
01:18:28.020 The whole classified document thing,
01:18:29.760 that didn't come from the right.
01:18:31.220 I have utter certitude
01:18:32.480 that the whole,
01:18:33.140 you know,
01:18:33.640 secret documents
01:18:34.420 in his garage,
01:18:35.540 in his office,
01:18:36.740 that was from somebody
01:18:37.720 on the inside
01:18:38.260 who wanted to get rid of him.
01:18:40.180 Can they get rid of him?
01:18:41.340 No idea.
01:18:42.840 But he thinks he's running.
01:18:45.640 So there we go, Seb.
01:18:47.000 What a pleasure.
01:18:47.640 Thank you so much
01:18:48.640 for coming on the show.
01:18:50.760 If people want to buy your books,
01:18:52.060 if people want to find you online,
01:18:53.420 where's the best way to do that?
01:18:54.660 Yeah, so I'm everywhere
01:18:55.720 except the fascists of YouTube.
01:18:58.040 So you can find me
01:18:58.960 on sebgorker.com,
01:19:01.300 sebastiangorker.com,
01:19:03.240 Twitter,
01:19:04.200 Facebook,
01:19:05.280 Instagram,
01:19:05.800 Seb Gorker
01:19:06.280 or Sebastian Gorker.
01:19:07.680 And of course,
01:19:08.660 my sub stack
01:19:09.780 that I promise
01:19:10.920 I will write more frequently.
01:19:12.520 That's sebastiangorker.substack.com.
01:19:14.560 The latest book is
01:19:15.360 The War for America's Soul.
01:19:16.880 So you can find me anywhere.
01:19:18.120 Daily radio show
01:19:19.080 you can listen to
01:19:19.920 on your iTunes,
01:19:22.580 Apple podcast
01:19:23.340 is America First.
01:19:25.140 And then I have a TV show
01:19:26.260 on Newsmax as well.
01:19:27.320 And Seb,
01:19:27.760 before we let you go,
01:19:28.760 and not only let you go,
01:19:29.900 but before we go to locals
01:19:30.960 where people have submitted
01:19:32.180 their questions
01:19:32.960 that only they will get
01:19:34.400 to see the answers to,
01:19:35.820 as always,
01:19:37.040 what's the one thing
01:19:37.760 we're not talking about
01:19:38.560 that we really should be?
01:19:39.820 Well,
01:19:40.120 I'm going to give you two.
01:19:41.820 Generous.
01:19:42.580 I know,
01:19:43.000 I know.
01:19:43.340 You're in America,
01:19:43.960 but we do things bigger here.
01:19:45.580 Number one,
01:19:46.560 and you might
01:19:47.240 take umbrage here,
01:19:50.140 it's the transgender thing.
01:19:52.820 But one aspect of it,
01:19:54.340 the idea
01:19:54.900 that doctors
01:19:56.540 who've taken
01:19:57.580 the Hippocratic Oath
01:19:58.480 are mutilating minors
01:20:00.560 is the essence of evil.
01:20:03.040 I don't want to talk
01:20:04.580 about transgenderism
01:20:05.660 in general,
01:20:06.600 but medical professionals
01:20:08.320 harming children
01:20:09.800 in many cases
01:20:10.660 autistic children
01:20:11.500 must be stopped
01:20:13.340 and these people
01:20:14.440 must be punished
01:20:15.240 and put in prison.
01:20:16.720 The second one
01:20:17.740 is a philosophical one
01:20:18.740 and it came to me
01:20:20.180 in the depths of COVID.
01:20:26.120 Cowardice.
01:20:29.100 This nation
01:20:30.220 was built
01:20:32.180 on rugged individualism,
01:20:36.080 the pioneer spirit.
01:20:37.860 You drove with me
01:20:38.760 through the deep countryside
01:20:39.920 of West Virginia.
01:20:41.420 You saw the spirit of,
01:20:43.760 these are people
01:20:44.460 that, you know,
01:20:45.760 sally forth young man
01:20:47.320 into the wilderness
01:20:48.500 and create.
01:20:51.100 The idea that a nation
01:20:52.840 that was founded
01:20:54.740 and celebrates
01:20:55.640 that myth,
01:20:57.420 that narrative
01:20:58.200 of fortitude,
01:21:00.020 of courage,
01:21:01.000 was shut down
01:21:03.740 was shut down
01:21:03.760 by the likes
01:21:05.300 of Fauci,
01:21:07.380 beggars belief.
01:21:09.000 The idea
01:21:09.640 that we were told
01:21:10.540 that for a disease
01:21:13.100 that has
01:21:13.800 really only
01:21:15.340 a threat level
01:21:17.700 applicable
01:21:18.080 to those
01:21:19.000 with serious
01:21:19.540 comorbidities
01:21:20.260 or a certain age cohort,
01:21:21.960 we were told
01:21:22.560 to shut down
01:21:23.000 all business.
01:21:24.080 Unless you're Walmart
01:21:24.940 or Amazon,
01:21:25.640 you will shut down.
01:21:27.080 The fact that only,
01:21:28.000 you know,
01:21:28.280 this restaurant owner
01:21:29.320 in California,
01:21:30.440 this gym owner
01:21:31.240 in New York
01:21:31.720 said,
01:21:32.400 screw you,
01:21:33.440 I get to feed
01:21:34.160 my family
01:21:34.760 and my employees
01:21:35.900 get to feed their kids.
01:21:37.740 The fact that it wasn't
01:21:38.680 tens of thousands
01:21:39.940 of Americans
01:21:40.440 who said,
01:21:41.400 no,
01:21:42.140 I will assume the risk.
01:21:44.040 It is my decision.
01:21:45.400 It is my employees' decision.
01:21:47.300 The fact that we genuflected
01:21:48.700 at the altar
01:21:49.460 of Fauci
01:21:51.260 and fear,
01:21:52.840 for me,
01:21:53.260 we have to find
01:21:54.900 fortitude
01:21:55.580 and courage again.
01:21:57.180 And this isn't
01:21:57.900 an American thing.
01:21:58.660 This is a Western
01:21:59.440 civilization thing.
01:22:00.420 You know this
01:22:00.860 from your industry.
01:22:01.820 Why is your industry dead?
01:22:02.980 Why is comedy dead?
01:22:04.600 Cowardice.
01:22:05.140 That's all it is.
01:22:06.160 So we need to talk
01:22:06.840 about what it means
01:22:09.160 to have courage.
01:22:11.620 And I'll give you
01:22:12.360 one story
01:22:12.960 and then we can
01:22:13.480 move to locals.
01:22:15.700 Before the election,
01:22:16.540 I was invited
01:22:16.980 with my wife
01:22:17.460 to speak
01:22:17.880 at a conservative event
01:22:19.820 at the Trump
01:22:21.440 golf course here.
01:22:22.200 and it was
01:22:24.060 a gala,
01:22:24.940 so, you know,
01:22:25.340 black tie.
01:22:26.680 And I arrived early.
01:22:27.960 My wife was going to speak.
01:22:28.920 I was going to speak.
01:22:29.780 We arrived to the ballroom.
01:22:31.240 This woman sees me
01:22:31.920 from across the ballroom
01:22:32.820 and rushes over to me
01:22:34.100 in a lovely ball gown
01:22:35.500 and says,
01:22:36.100 Dr. G, Dr. G,
01:22:37.360 can I get a selfie?
01:22:38.680 And I said,
01:22:39.000 of course.
01:22:40.080 She said,
01:22:40.360 take the selfie.
01:22:41.480 And afterwards,
01:22:41.960 I said to her
01:22:42.440 what I say to everyone
01:22:43.420 that takes a selfie with me.
01:22:45.200 Don't forget to tag me
01:22:46.500 when you post it.
01:22:48.780 Suddenly,
01:22:49.260 her visage changed.
01:22:50.780 She got all doer.
01:22:52.640 And she said,
01:22:53.620 oh,
01:22:54.660 I can't put it on Facebook.
01:22:56.940 I can't post it.
01:22:59.440 My husband,
01:23:00.420 he's self-employed
01:23:01.380 and this part of Northern Virginia
01:23:03.600 is so Democrat.
01:23:07.060 At that moment,
01:23:08.240 a little part of me died.
01:23:11.660 An hour later,
01:23:12.400 when I was asked
01:23:12.900 to stand up in front of,
01:23:13.920 you know,
01:23:14.140 400 patriots
01:23:15.580 to make a speech,
01:23:17.500 I talked about this woman.
01:23:19.620 She was there.
01:23:20.180 I didn't use her name,
01:23:21.460 but I said the following.
01:23:24.140 If you do not put your name
01:23:27.780 to the values you say you hold,
01:23:31.400 you do not hold those values.
01:23:34.440 And you don't deserve
01:23:35.980 or have the right
01:23:37.040 to describe yourself
01:23:38.720 based upon those adjectives.
01:23:40.620 It's a very simple calculation.
01:23:42.760 You can't say,
01:23:43.600 I'm a patriot,
01:23:44.140 I love America,
01:23:44.660 I'm a conservative
01:23:45.200 or I love the working class
01:23:47.160 and I'm a Labour voter
01:23:48.540 if you aren't able
01:23:50.160 to actually associate you
01:23:52.680 with those values.
01:23:54.040 So, man up
01:23:56.100 and live your values.
01:23:59.220 Or woman up.
01:24:01.400 If you must.
01:24:04.600 Dr. Sebastian Gorka,
01:24:05.840 thank you so much
01:24:06.560 for being back on the show.
01:24:08.900 And thank you
01:24:09.680 for what you do.
01:24:10.440 I told you guys privately,
01:24:12.020 you guys are unique,
01:24:12.920 you are providing a service
01:24:13.800 nobody else is doing
01:24:14.600 and there's a reason
01:24:15.320 I have said publicly
01:24:16.360 on numerous occasions,
01:24:17.860 the best podcast
01:24:18.900 outside of America
01:24:20.600 is Trigonometry.
01:24:21.640 So, I salute you guys.
01:24:23.140 Thank you so much.
01:24:23.920 Thank you so much.
01:24:25.160 Join us on Locals
01:24:26.400 where we're going to ask
01:24:27.140 Seb your questions.
01:24:28.940 Thank you for being here,
01:24:30.020 for watching this.
01:24:30.820 We've got more amazing interviews
01:24:32.660 coming from our American trip
01:24:34.280 and more.
01:24:35.160 So, take care
01:24:35.800 and we'll see you on Locals
01:24:36.720 very shortly.
01:24:37.680 Take care
01:24:38.160 and see you soon, guys.
01:24:41.040 Because this isn't YouTube,
01:24:42.780 we can talk about this.
01:24:44.020 Sean G says,
01:24:44.860 seeing as Trump reckons
01:24:45.960 the last election was rigged.
01:24:53.920 Hello, Saver.
01:24:55.480 Whether you're saving
01:24:56.500 for that trip to the tropics
01:24:57.800 or saving for an emergency,
