00:00:43.280 Keir Starmer is finished,
00:00:44.660 but what have we learned from the Mandelson and Epstein affair?
00:00:51.860 Revelations that Prime Minister Keir Starmer
00:00:53.840 appointed Peter Mandelson as Britain's ambassador to the US
00:00:56.860 despite knowing that he'd maintained
00:00:58.700 his friendship with sex trafficker Jeffrey Epstein
00:01:01.020 have had and will continue to have a series
00:01:03.640 of long-running consequences.
00:01:05.660 First, and most obviously,
00:01:07.440 Starmer's goose is cooked.
00:01:09.300 He will likely survive the week
00:01:10.860 for the very same reason
00:01:12.060 he's extremely unlikely to survive the year.
00:01:15.100 His rivals can read the tea leaves.
00:01:17.300 As I predicted in the wake of Starmer's supposed landslide,
00:01:20.600 which was in reality merely the British public
00:01:23.120 punishing the Tories
00:01:24.140 without any enthusiasm for labor whatsoever,
00:01:26.360 things were inevitably going to get worse for labor
00:01:29.380 with every day they spent in power.
00:01:31.780 The pretenders to Starmer's wobbly throne
00:01:34.000 know they're likely to get trounced
00:01:35.940 in the Gorton and Denton by-election
00:01:37.620 later this month,
00:01:38.900 having hemorrhaged votes to reform
00:01:40.640 and the Greens' emerging Green-Green Alliance,
00:01:43.680 on which more later.
00:01:44.780 They also know that local government,
00:01:47.120 mayoral, as well as Scottish
00:01:48.300 and Welsh parliamentary elections
00:01:49.760 are coming in early May.
00:01:51.340 A scapegoat will be needed
00:01:52.800 to explain the inevitable disaster
00:01:54.820 that will unfold for labor at those elections.
00:01:57.720 Why depose Starmer now
00:01:59.120 only to be fed into the mincer
00:02:00.860 for his mistakes a few months down the line?
00:02:04.060 This is why the odds for Starmer leaving
00:02:06.540 vary so widely between him leaving
00:02:08.600 in the next couple of months,
00:02:10.240 unlikely,
00:02:10.980 and leaving by the end of the year,
00:02:12.600 very likely as high as 70-odd percent in some cases.
00:02:16.040 Secondly, and equally obviously,
00:02:17.680 this entire scandal confirms something
00:02:19.480 that anyone with eyes to see
00:02:20.820 and ears to hear already knew.
00:02:22.780 Labor is utterly devoid of talent.
00:02:25.280 Even a weak and damaged prime minister
00:02:27.080 will linger on
00:02:27.920 because his potential replacements are,
00:02:30.040 hard as that may be to believe,
00:02:31.780 even less impressive.
00:02:33.200 Indeed, his appointment of Mandelson
00:02:35.060 was itself a symptom of the same problem.
00:02:37.600 The Labor Party is so sure of serious operators
00:02:40.260 that appointing a convicted pedophile
00:02:42.540 best friend seemed like a good idea.
00:02:45.260 David Lammy,
00:02:46.120 who in opposition described President Trump
00:02:48.020 as a tyrant
00:02:48.720 and a woman-hating,
00:02:50.000 neo-nazi-sympathizing sociopath,
00:02:52.300 was this country's foreign secretary,
00:02:54.520 whose most important job
00:02:55.680 was to establish a productive work
00:02:57.500 and relationship with the U.S. administration.
00:03:00.200 Most of Labor's front bench
00:03:01.520 should be stacking shelves at Lidl.
00:03:03.460 Instead, they're running the country.
00:03:05.420 Finally, and still equally obviously,
00:03:07.620 the fallout from the Mandelson-Epstein episode
00:03:10.120 has revealed in writing
00:03:11.280 something that we all knew logically
00:03:12.840 but had not previously heard
00:03:14.220 a senior Labor figure say out loud.
00:03:16.600 They are terrified of the Muslim vote.
00:03:19.080 In an attempt to distance himself
00:03:20.560 from Mandelson,
00:03:21.440 Health Secretary West Street
00:03:22.620 released their private WhatsApp exchanges.
00:03:24.960 Hidden among these
00:03:25.900 was a telling comment.
00:03:27.320 Quote,
00:03:27.580 I fear we're in big trouble here
00:03:29.440 and I am toast at the next election.
00:03:31.780 We just lost our safest ward in Redbridge,
00:03:34.820 51% Muslim,
00:03:36.220 Ilford South,
00:03:37.220 to a Gaza independent.
00:03:38.940 At this rate,
00:03:39.680 I don't think we'll hold
00:03:40.760 either of the two Ilford seats.
00:03:42.640 There isn't a clear answer to the question.
00:03:45.200 Why Labor?
00:03:46.220 End quote.
00:03:47.420 Labor's chickens are coming home to roost.
00:03:50.140 For years,
00:03:50.620 they fostered, encouraged,
00:03:51.800 and profited from religious sectarianism.
00:03:53.980 A significant number of the seats they hold
00:03:56.060 were won by on-block Muslim votes.
00:03:58.320 Labor naively believed
00:03:59.500 that these votes would stay with them
00:04:00.840 no matter what,
00:04:01.900 provided they continued to say
00:04:03.380 and do nothing to offend this community.
00:04:06.240 Their silence on grooming gangs,
00:04:07.840 their failure to ban the Muslim Brotherhood,
00:04:09.780 and their aggressive push
00:04:10.900 to criminalize thought crime
00:04:12.260 under the guise of combating Islamophobia
00:04:14.720 are just some of the surface consequences.
00:04:17.380 The problem,
00:04:18.120 as they have discovered,
00:04:19.240 is that unlike the Labor Party,
00:04:20.920 whose only guiding principle
00:04:22.380 is political expediency,
00:04:24.080 the Muslim community
00:04:25.100 has a clear and well-defined political agenda.
00:04:28.180 Any delusions about this
00:04:29.620 should have evaporated
00:04:30.620 in the wake of the Israel-Hamas war,
00:04:32.860 when it became clear
00:04:33.760 that the overwhelming majority
00:04:35.220 of British Muslims
00:04:36.160 view themselves as part of the Ummah,
00:04:38.620 a transnational Muslim community first,
00:04:41.260 and British second.
00:04:42.640 It's not exactly surprising,
00:04:43.940 given that allegiance to the Ummah
00:04:45.340 is directly prescribed in the Quran.
00:04:47.720 This is why constituencies
00:04:49.160 with high Muslim populations
00:04:50.560 have elected a number
00:04:52.060 of so-called Gaza independents,
00:04:54.640 i.e. candidates
00:04:55.380 whose primary concern
00:04:56.920 is an issue
00:04:57.560 that has very little
00:04:58.400 to do with Britain at all.
00:04:59.940 All of them unseated Labor MPs,
00:05:01.800 by the way.
00:05:02.460 Labor's reliance
00:05:03.280 on this small
00:05:03.900 but highly concentrated voting bloc
00:05:05.840 unraveled quickly
00:05:07.000 in the wake of October the 7th.
00:05:08.880 The Gaza tale
00:05:09.800 had grown accustomed
00:05:10.660 to wagging the Labor dog
00:05:12.040 and became outraged
00:05:13.380 when Starmer failed
00:05:14.300 to adopt the most extreme
00:05:15.640 anti-Israel position possible.
00:05:17.740 A new dog
00:05:18.380 had to be found.
00:05:19.860 Enter Zach Polanski.
00:05:21.720 Across Britain,
00:05:22.600 a green-green alliance
00:05:23.880 is emerging
00:05:24.440 whereby deluded
00:05:25.400 blue-haired
00:05:25.940 Extinction Rebellion types
00:05:27.300 are joining forces
00:05:28.580 with Muslim voters
00:05:29.540 to defeat Labor.
00:05:30.820 The short-term appeal
00:05:31.820 of this unlikely coalition
00:05:33.160 for both movements
00:05:34.000 is clear.
00:05:34.980 The Green Party
00:05:35.680 gets a large
00:05:36.400 cohesive voting bloc
00:05:37.640 to lift it out
00:05:38.480 of political irrelevance.
00:05:39.860 For the Muslim vote,
00:05:40.720 this is an excellent vehicle
00:05:41.800 to force the Labor government
00:05:43.080 into even more
00:05:44.320 extreme forms of pandering.
00:05:45.960 If the sounds
00:05:46.580 scary and depressing,
00:05:47.620 worry not.
00:05:49.060 As I've talked about before,
00:05:50.880 that things are so bad
00:05:51.840 is in fact good news.
00:05:53.180 When Starmer goes,
00:05:54.160 he'll be replaced
00:05:54.860 by somebody worse.
00:05:56.180 That being the case,
00:05:57.320 it's hard to see
00:05:58.220 how we avoid
00:05:58.920 an early election.
00:06:00.380 The only question
00:06:01.160 is whether
00:06:01.820 an effect of opposition
00:06:02.860 will have formed
00:06:03.600 by the time
00:06:04.220 one takes place.
00:06:05.480 That remains to be seen.

00:06:17.940 As you know,
00:06:18.960 I've been concerned
00:06:19.800 about both the economic
00:06:20.880 and political direction
00:06:22.160 of travel
00:06:22.700 of Western countries
00:06:23.720 in recent years.
00:06:24.920 That being the case,
00:06:26.080 I'm keen to protect
00:06:27.120 my family
00:06:27.780 in case things
00:06:28.380 continue to get worse.
00:06:29.880 That's why
00:06:30.440 I'm making sure
00:06:31.340 to keep a portion
00:06:32.120 of my savings in gold.
00:06:33.760 The reason the price
00:06:34.620 of everything
00:06:35.060 continues to go up
00:06:36.120 is that governments
00:06:37.060 keep printing money.
00:06:38.400 When they do,
00:06:39.400 inflation is inevitable.
00:06:40.900 What does inflation mean?
00:06:42.440 It's just a fancy word
00:06:43.620 for the value
00:06:44.200 of your money
00:06:44.720 being diluted over time.
00:06:46.480 This is what's happened
00:06:47.360 to the value
00:06:47.880 of the dollar
00:06:48.440 in our lifetimes.
00:06:49.860 Gold is a great way
00:06:50.780 to preserve the fruits
00:06:51.720 of your hard work
00:06:52.580 while the value
00:06:53.340 of your dollars,
00:06:54.120 pounds,
00:06:54.440 and euros
00:06:54.800 is continually being eroded.

00:07:05.960 The good thing
00:07:06.420 about these coins
00:07:07.080 is that unlike
00:07:07.700 many investments,
00:07:08.740 they're exempt
00:07:09.140 from capital gains tax.
