00:00:00.800 Ladies and gentlemen, it is Brady Wedham from TPL Media and I'm going to read some comments
00:00:05.120 from one of Jim Lang's most recent episodes, Canadian Submarines, What Are We Missing?
00:00:11.920 Okay, so we have this comment from a lovely Kelly Brownlee. Hi Kelly.
00:00:17.760 You guys don't know anything about subs. There is no such thing as nuclear hybrid submarines,
00:00:23.200 and if Canada went nuclear, Canada could only get maybe three subs at most,
00:00:28.080 because nuclear subs have crews of 79 to 130 plus the u.s and britain will never
00:00:35.200 sell canada nuclear subs because of canada's very bad security you don't know what you're talking
00:00:40.080 about well to that end i'm not an expert what we're trying to create is dialogue a true patriot
00:00:45.440 love media okay and the dialogue is i don't remember anyone seeing nuclear hybrid submarines
00:00:50.400 and i agree with you that that's why we can't get nuclear subs the question was posed to us
00:00:55.280 and that's a non-starter because of the size of our military and that's why we wanted to go to
00:00:59.760 the diesel electric air independent propulsion so yeah it's a valid comment you say but we're
00:01:04.960 not here to say we're experts we want your input and we want everyone to comment as well because
00:01:09.520 you have every every right to say anything about the topic as we do okay well there's a follow-up
00:01:14.480 here um it's either nuclear powered or diesel electric with aip correct and a lithium-ion
00:01:20.720 battery there's no such thing as a hybrid nuclear sub it's that simple it's one or the other no
00:01:25.920 mix these two guys don't know what they're talking about it's nuclear or diesel electric that's it i
00:01:31.920 don't remember ever saying anything about a hybrid i'm not sure where they got that maybe it was said
00:01:36.880 but again the canadian country the canadian military needs submarines badly and we're trying
00:01:42.960 to get a dialogue so the military has the proper equipment to go to the arctic so thank you for
00:01:47.520 your comments. Keep them coming. TPL.
