00:00:00.000 So do you want to kick off with temporary residents for a minute?

00:00:04.820 Sure.

00:00:06.000 Yeah, so they're looking at reducing the temporary residents in Canada to a little under 5% over the next couple of years.

00:00:16.080 Their intention is essentially to alleviate some of the housing crisis or the housing shortage that we're having or that we're seeing, reducing the reliance on health care.

00:00:27.880 and so what you know this problem started back in the 2020 year when they let all of the foreign 1.00

00:00:39.020 workers and students come on in and now they're essentially trying to kind of push back on that

00:00:44.980 and reduce those those numbers as far as the the students go they're expecting to reduce the

00:00:53.640 students by approximately 49 to 50 percent of what we currently have today so we used to let in or

00:01:02.040 we now have about 330 something international students now they're looking at bringing those

00:01:08.520 students down to about 155,000 between 2026 and 2028.
