00:00:00.000 Hi, I'm Teresa Greco, the host of The Happy Hour, where we talk about the things that can help us
00:00:15.320 to live our happiest lives physically, mentally, emotionally, and spiritually. Now, today on the
00:00:21.240 show, I have an amazing woman that I can't wait for her to introduce herself to all of you. Her 1.00
00:00:27.180 name is Elvira Hopper. Thank you so much for being with us today. Thank you, Teresa. It's so great to
00:00:32.500 finally meet you in person, and I love your studio. It's fabulous. Thank you. Thank you. So please
00:00:37.760 share with everybody the amazing things that you do and all that you are. We would love to learn more
00:00:44.580 about you. Thank you. So yeah, so I am a coach. I'm a life coach. I'm a business coach. I'm a purpose
00:00:51.480 coach. So I was somebody that lived out of alignment for most of my life, and I'll tell you that story.
00:00:57.400 In a few minutes, and I was ready to die at rock bottom. I didn't want to live anymore because I
00:01:03.520 lived so out of alignment. I was an imposter. I was living to please my dad, to look good to society.
00:01:09.960 I wore so many ego masks that just kept me moving forward. And I looked happy. I had the big smile,
00:01:16.580 but on the inside, I was dying. And so I was able to have a breakdown and a breakthrough. And that
00:01:22.940 breakthrough has now become the foundation of a global movement. And I have a team, an amazing
00:01:28.160 team of people that facilitate this work. And I live and breathe it every day. And so I am truly
00:01:35.040 not one thing. I'm all the things, you know, that light me up, that make me happy. I always tell my team,
00:01:41.180 my clients, my audiences, you know, if it ain't in your JPG, it ain't your job. And what does JPG stand
00:01:48.220 for? Joy, passion, and genius. That's the only things that we should be doing. Yes, of course,
00:01:55.140 sometimes we're going to have to do things we don't like. But if you can create a life that you
00:01:59.060 love, a happy life, one that you can offset the things that you don't like to someone who loves
00:02:05.340 to do those things. Like, for example, I actually manifested my husband losing his corporate job
00:02:10.540 because I needed him to help me take my company to the next level. There was no way I was going to do
00:02:15.480 the back end of my business. I don't enjoy things like invoicing and bookkeeping and taxes and yada,
00:02:21.720 yada, yada. So he takes care of all the back end stuff. He's really good at it. It's in his JPG zone.
00:02:26.860 So I do what I'm great at. I do the speaking, the coaching, I'm also a jewelry designer. I'm a
00:02:34.060 late blooming jazz artist. I'll tell you this story in a second. There's my album in case people don't
00:02:38.100 believe me. And, you know, and I do, I run, you know, a few different levels of global movements
00:02:46.260 as well. So I'll share more about that. So it's about becoming all of yourself. Like that is what
00:02:52.540 saved my life at rock bottom is I wasn't allowed to be me and then, um, lived out of alignment up
00:02:58.400 until my like mid to late forties. Then I had the breakdown and the breakthrough. Some people call
00:03:03.220 that like a midlife crisis, you know, I'm sure that's what it was. Um, so yeah, we all, we all
00:03:09.480 come to this inner work in our own unique way. Um, and some people will never come to it, but, um,
00:03:15.780 it saved my life. So now I'm the mouthpiece for it. I'm the advocate for it. Uh, so I, yeah, I do,
00:03:21.520 I wear a few hats and none of it is work. Everything brings me joy and I want people to create a life
00:03:28.800 that, that is in their JPG zone as well. So yeah. Love it. Thank you. Thank you. Now I'd love for you
00:03:35.900 to, to clarify when you say living in alignment, what does that actually mean? Yeah. So living in
00:03:42.420 alignment is living, um, as you, you, you share the gifts you were given. We all have gifts,
00:03:49.040 right? Some people hide their gifts because they were told they have to be a certain thing. You know,
00:03:53.740 for example, my highest level coaching program is called all of you. And the tagline is why be part
00:03:59.560 of you when you can be all of you and have a little tagline I can sing. Um, actually I have a little
00:04:04.660 song that goes along with it. Ask me about that later if you want, but it's really about helping people.
00:04:10.280 Um, this is the highest level of my coaching business. It's a, it's a multi six figure
00:04:14.100 coaching program for ultra high net worth individuals that are at risk of dying with
00:04:19.780 their real music still in them because they, uh, they're living out of alignment. They're,
00:04:24.800 they're doing that. Maybe that one thing that got them rich or famous or whatever, maybe they're,
00:04:29.360 you know, um, engineers, doctors, dentists, you know, celebrities even that are just doing that
00:04:35.280 one thing that got them, you know, the, the attention, the money, the success. Uh, but guess
00:04:42.980 what? There may be more in store. That's burning a hole in their soul. And my father, he could sing
00:04:49.000 like Pavarotti, but he never did anything with his voice. And sadly he died with his real music still in
00:04:55.300 him. I want to prevent those tragedies. So this is why I believe we need to live in alignment with
00:05:01.840 all of our gifts and do them because not only are we happier, we're healthier, we're wealthier,
00:05:08.460 we have better relationships. And most importantly, I believe the world gets what we got. I don't have
00:05:14.380 my dad's album. He would have made an incredible album, but you know what? My kiddo is going to get
00:05:19.380 my album when I'm gone one day, he's got my music. I'm not dying with my real music in me. So I'm a huge
00:05:24.880 advocate for that. Now, how would, so if I think of the individuals that you just mentioned who look
00:05:31.560 like they have all the things, right? They have the success and they have the money and they,
00:05:35.620 their life also, like mine, checks off all the boxes. How can we know that we're not completely
00:05:42.180 in alignment? Because you think, well, I'm, you know, my life looks perfect. Yeah. Right. Looks
00:05:48.300 perfect. Yeah. So how do we know? How can we identify if we're not actually living like all aspects of
00:05:55.840 ourselves, that there's part, that there are gifts that maybe we haven't yet discovered or because
00:06:01.320 we're just following the rules of just, you know, what society and culture and family register. Oh,
00:06:07.280 yeah, this is what you do. You get up, you go to work, you eat, sleep, repeat. Yeah. So how are we
00:06:12.240 supposed to know that there's something inside us that we haven't yet brought forth? Yeah. So it's
00:06:18.700 how you feel. Like, are you really happy? Like other than putting on, you know, I was a big drug,
00:06:24.040 a big drug rep. I was a drug rep at big pharma for 20 years. And before that I worked seven years
00:06:31.060 in cancer research at princess Margaret hospital. And both of those two careers looked very shiny.
00:06:36.660 And I looked very happy because I was making good money and I was going on trips and I was going out
00:06:41.380 and, you know, I had lots of money to throw around. So it looked successful, right? But on the inside,
00:06:47.320 I struggled, I struggled. I was, I was bullied. I had, uh, eating disorders. I had
00:06:53.660 depression. I had anxiety. I had panic attacks. I had bipolar. My marriage nearly ended three
00:07:00.980 different times. These are pretty key indicators that you're living out of alignment.
00:07:05.660 Yeah. Right. Yeah. And it's interesting that on the outside, it, it all looks perfect,
00:07:11.840 right? Yeah. Um, with my previous guests, we were talking about how, you know, social media looks
00:07:18.080 actually more like fake book than it is Facebook, right? Because, you know, we have these curated
00:07:23.900 stories and polished identities that make it look like, oh, everybody's got their, you know, 0.99
00:07:29.080 their shit together. They're poop in a group. Yeah. Poop in a group. And then nobody's going 1.00
00:07:34.080 through anything tough. But, but the truth is behind the scenes, right? Like for you behind the scenes,
00:07:40.460 this was all that you were dealing with. Although on the outside it, you were wearing the mask, like
00:07:47.120 me too, wearing the masks and wearing the smile and everyone looked like, oh, she's got her stuff
00:07:52.400 together. Yeah. People were shocked when I had the breakdown and left big pharma and they're like,
00:07:58.140 what are you doing? You know? Um, but it was like, I can't do that anymore. Like that. Oh, I'm getting
00:08:04.080 chills just saying it. That was living out of alignment, you know, and it did not bring me joy. And
00:08:10.020 um, money's not everything, you know? So I had to have that breakdown because there's no way I would
00:08:16.020 have left that career if I hadn't had my mental breakdown and my mental breakdown was the big,
00:08:21.060 my blessed breakthrough. It was the best thing that could have happened. I was actually bullied
00:08:25.560 corporately. I attracted another bully socially. I went to a dark place mentally. That was the best
00:08:31.160 thing that could have happened because if I hadn't had that situation happen, you know where I'd still
00:08:35.580 be working right now, big pharma. So I am super grateful for the broken road that led me to where
00:08:43.020 I am now. Yeah. Beautiful. And do you find that a lot of your clients need to have that like crossroad
00:08:49.140 moment that, you know, that's brought down, brought, brought by, uh, you know, a death or a loss or
00:08:55.920 oftentimes. Yes. That's what, that's what causes a shift in our beingness. Uh, oftentimes, you know,
00:09:02.680 a death of a parent or a job loss or like being bullied at work and nobody talking to you anymore
00:09:08.840 and being, you know, persona non grata, like that's harsh, you know, especially for a former people
00:09:14.240 pleaser like me, I used to need outer validation. Like I needed oxygen and the fact that everybody hated
00:09:19.580 me. Oh my God, my life was hell for two solid years. I barely got out of bed just to feed my child
00:09:25.760 and get him off to school and I'd go back to bed. Like it was a horrible life and you know, but it's
00:09:32.360 exactly what was meant to happen. Cause I reached a breaking point where I said, Nope, I can't live
00:09:37.060 like this anymore. And I said to my higher power, give me a way out of my hell. That's not any of
00:09:42.740 these things I've already done. Cause I'd done a lot of personal development at that point. I'd done
00:09:47.280 Tony Robbins, landmark education. I'd been Catholic my whole life. Um, you know, different, I'd had therapy,
00:09:53.660 uh, different things worked at different times, but when I hit my rock bottom, Teresa, none of them
00:09:59.380 worked anymore because I was meant to hit a point where I literally said, give me a way out. That's
00:10:05.080 none of these things I've done or give me a way of killing myself. That's rock bottom. That is
00:10:11.620 surrender. And that is when you either die or you evolve and guess what I did. So now I was told this
00:10:19.720 modality that saved you, I literally was downloaded it. Like spirit just gave it to me,
00:10:24.060 you know, first and big chunks and then little, you know, like it just, I I'm downloading all the
00:10:29.020 time. I channel, you know, I receive messages, um, very intuitive just as you are. Um, everybody
00:10:35.020 has intuition. It's whether we choose to tap into it or not. So I received all these downloads and I
00:10:40.540 was told, um, when, when my mental health cleared up quickly and naturally, like no drugs,
00:10:46.160 no therapy, um, you know, uh, no, um, uh, uh, uh, what else, what else did I try? Um, I had done all
00:10:53.980 those things, but what, what helped me, and this is why I had to live out of alignment in big pharma.
00:10:59.560 And then before that cancer research, I was meant to live through Western medicine because the
00:11:05.020 breakdown allowed me to have a breakthrough that was more spiritual. It was a spiritual breakthrough
00:11:10.020 breakthrough and, and it was natural. So I call it a holistic solution. W H O L I S T C solution. 0.65
00:11:18.840 S O U L U T I O N. It wasn't Western medicine. It wasn't like standard care for mental health.
00:11:26.180 So this is an alternative way of feeling better and happier. Um, and yeah, you don't have to take
00:11:31.860 drugs. So I was a drug rep. I knew what drugs did to my body. No disrespect to anybody who takes drugs
00:11:36.640 for their mental health. If it works for you, that's fantastic. For me, it wasn't going to be
00:11:41.080 an option. Cause I, I knew too much about drugs. Also my dad lived out of alignment and he too got
00:11:47.080 bullied at work in his fifties and he had nervous breakdown. He had to go on the razepam for the rest
00:11:52.700 of his life, a very strong anti-anxiety drug. So I saw what drugs did to him and I'm like, no, no,
00:12:00.200 no, my story's not going to end like my dad's. So this is why when I got this modality gifted to me
00:12:06.360 and it saved my, my, my sanity, you know, no more panic attacks, no more depression, no more bipolar,
00:12:13.380 no more eating disorders. Like my marriage went from hell on wheels to heaven on earth. Cause I was
00:12:18.260 no longer living from ego nearly killed my marriage three different times. I kid you not. Um, you know,
00:12:24.360 when, when, you know, all of these things happened and, and, and then I had the courage to become a
00:12:29.800 pro jazz artist at 51, which is connected to my story. If I have time to share that, um, you know,
00:12:35.900 I was told it's not just for you, it's for you to share with the world. It's a new modality. And so
00:12:41.920 I'm like, how the hell do I do that? Right? So I created an online course and, and so people learned
00:12:48.540 it in three hours online. Um, and that's a great course, but then two amazing women step forward 1.00
00:12:54.880 when COVID hit and they said to me, um, shout out to them, Eleanor Hayward, Jennifer Hawkins.
00:13:00.240 And they said, uh, Alvira, we don't know when we're going to work again because COVID one's a massage
00:13:05.900 therapist, one's a hairdresser. Um, and your modality saved our lives too, because they did the
00:13:11.500 course. And, uh, we believe it's our duty to share it with the world. And I remember crying Teresa
00:13:17.420 and saying, Oh my God, this is how it gets shared with the world, not through me through them. And
00:13:22.620 what did they do? They picked up the pearls that I dropped in this course over three hours. They put
00:13:27.620 their own little spacer beads on it and they made this beautiful, beautiful necklace that now almost
00:13:33.220 every person that goes through the six month program they created actually wants to become a
00:13:38.100 facilitator of this work. So that's how my team is growing because, and it's all backed by science,
00:13:42.780 which is really interesting, even though it is spiritual. Um, I have a dear friend,
00:13:47.160 his name is Dr. Larry Farwell. He's a Harvard trained neuroscientist. And he wrote the book,
00:13:52.840 the science of creating miracles. And he said to me, Alvira, that modality that you channeled at rock
00:13:58.480 bottom, it's actually backed up by science. I've proven it works because neuroplasticity shows us
00:14:04.340 that when we start thinking and behaving in different ways, we actually rewire our brain,
00:14:09.260 right? You know, all about that because you do the same. So, so this is what's possible. And,
00:14:14.220 you know, so you have to hit that point where you're, you're sick and tired of feeling sick
00:14:19.220 and tired, where you just can't do this anymore. And that's when you'll either check out, you know,
00:14:24.700 maybe become an alcoholic or, you know, end up like in a mental hospital or whatever. There's lots
00:14:29.240 of awful ways you can end up or you can evolve and you don't have to do it by yourself. This is why
00:14:34.400 there's people like us around, right? You don't have to go this journey by yourself, you know,
00:14:39.220 lock arms with someone who's been there and can teach you how you can do it too. Um, you know,
00:14:44.700 you don't have to hit a breakdown completely. Like I, I literally was ready to die, but I'm also the
00:14:50.340 founder of this movement, the miracle magnet movement that states all modalities matter.
00:14:55.640 Mine's just one that can help people, but there's a lot of non-Western medicine modalities. There's a lot
00:15:01.600 of holistic solutions out there. So my team use my platform to not only help people with my modality,
00:15:08.140 they put their own modalities there too, because I like to say, Teresa, there's over 8 billion people
00:15:13.380 on the planet and there's over 8 billion ways to love your vibe and be a miracle magnet.
00:15:18.240 You get to choose what works for you. What keeps Teresa in alignment with her highest self,
00:15:23.120 her highest power, her highest purpose. That's what you need to do. And so everybody has a different
00:15:28.560 miracle mix, right? We're all snowflakes. We all have a unique blueprint. Um, so I'm a huge advocate
00:15:34.300 for, you know, just getting on that road, deciding you're better than your situation and, and, you
00:15:40.740 know, being sick and tired of feeling sick and tired. Well, mine's just one modality. I have many
00:15:46.040 others that are on my platform that you can look at as well. My team are incredible, uh, heart-centered
00:15:51.500 humans that just want to help make a better world. You know, we believe when enough of us people,
00:15:56.400 uh, heart-centered people, especially, cause we've been to dark times, especially over COVID.
00:16:00.380 When enough of us have done this inner work in whatever way resonates with us, we will reveal
00:16:07.580 heaven on earth. And, and that is because when people become fully themselves aligned, authentic,
00:16:13.500 fully self-expressed, it is going to be heaven on earth. We're going to be doing the thing we were
00:16:18.720 brought here to do. We're not going to be hiding as imposters as I was for so many years. We're doing
00:16:24.320 what we were brought here to do, right? Yeah. It's beautiful. Now, if somebody isn't, as you said,
00:16:29.620 um, you know, it doesn't take you reaching rock bottom in order to, to break open, right? So that
00:16:37.040 we can break through. Yeah. It seems like in that moment, like, you know, when you said that,
00:16:41.900 I visualize, you know, Humpty Dumpty and this egg falling over, right? And then, and like cracking
00:16:48.500 and then you're broken open. Yeah. For almost like the light to come in that you're in all this
00:16:53.620 darkness. Yeah. Great visual. Yeah. Yeah. Broken open. Yeah. So that now you can have
00:16:59.320 that breakthrough as you were talking about. I, I'm one of those people that can learn through
00:17:05.120 other people. Exactly. Exactly. Some people are like, no, no, I can do it. It'll be different
00:17:10.260 for me. And that's ego. Yeah. And I'm like, no, no, no, you tell me all the hard things
00:17:14.760 that you've been through because I don't need to go through my mind. Right. That's why people
00:17:19.180 have mentors and coaches. Exactly. Yes. You're telling me your story so I can just avoid all
00:17:24.820 of that. Exactly. Exactly. So if somebody is, you know, so they're therefore not at that point.
00:17:31.980 Yeah. But what are some of those? So when you, when you say that you have programs that basically
00:17:37.760 help people at whatever stage they're at. Yeah. And I know that we, as an educator, um,
00:17:45.300 we are not taught these things. Yeah. In school. Yeah. And that, you know, because I don't teach
00:17:49.960 them and, and I wasn't taught and we don't talk about these things in our social circles,
00:17:55.020 because again, everything looks perfect on the outside, which I think is just, that's ego.
00:18:00.600 It's way worse now than it ever was when we were younger too. Right. Cause now we can see
00:18:04.680 what everybody's doing on social media. Yeah. All the highlight reels, all the fake,
00:18:09.560 all the ego. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. It's a lot. Yeah. And so if, if you have solutions for
00:18:16.360 different, uh, entry points, let's say, uh, what are some of the other things that might indicate to
00:18:21.880 someone that they're not living, you know, the fullest expression of themselves? So I loved all the
00:18:27.400 examples you shared because those are, those are all pertinent, but are there like more subtle things
00:18:32.920 that if somebody's listening and they're like, Oh, that doesn't apply to me. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah.
00:18:37.160 But it's like, well, go a little deeper. I would look at your relationships, right? Because we need
00:18:44.040 to create an, um, uh, a relationship with ourself where we honor ourselves. We have ourself. We have
00:18:50.840 good boundaries and we're able to be truly us. Um, if we're living out of alignment and we're just
00:18:57.640 putting on the big smile and the ego mass, um, and our relationships are like, uh, you know,
00:19:02.920 like maybe, you know, with your husband, like things aren't good. Maybe, maybe you're having an
00:19:07.320 affair, you know, that's one indicator because you're not happy and you just think someone can
00:19:12.120 make me happy. You're looking for outer validation. I used to need other validation. Like I needed oxygen.
00:19:17.160 Right. So there's one key indicator there. Um, because really, you know, like either be happy in the
00:19:23.560 relationship you're in or get out, like, don't be doing stuff like that. Right. Like I'm, I'm an
00:19:28.440 advocate for that. Right. Um, so that's just one indicator, um, other things like maybe you're
00:19:33.560 fighting with your kids and, and they're, uh, they're, you know, they're going to smoke dope or
00:19:38.440 whatever, just to get out of, you know, your face, you know, and, you know, I mean, you, you need to be
00:19:43.960 the person that is truly you. And that is when compassion comes out. That is when, um, you don't judge
00:19:51.080 yourself. You don't judge others. Relationships are better. Right. So, you know, just a few,
00:19:55.800 there's so many different, you know, key indicators, but, but I think relationships are, are, you know,
00:20:01.720 if your relationships are struggling, if you're, um, showing up and, and like, let's say for women, 0.99
00:20:07.960 typically, uh, they, they can take each other down, you know, they can be the mean girls, you know, 1.00
00:20:13.640 they can criticize other, other women, uh, because they, they haven't done their own inner work. 0.57
00:20:18.760 They don't love themselves. So therefore, you know, someone that maybe does love themselves
00:20:24.040 is, is someone they're going to criticize. They're going to judge, you know, I get judged all the time.
00:20:28.760 I'm the most joyful person on the planet. And that triggers a lot of people that aren't there.
00:20:33.560 Yeah. You know, so look at your triggers, look at, you know, what, what activates you and, and say,
00:20:38.840 you know what, I'm, I'm better than this. I deserve better than this. And so, uh, yeah, because
00:20:44.760 different people, you know, have different reasons for getting on that, you know, I call
00:20:48.520 it the yellow brick road, you know, just, you know, getting conscious, you know, doing inner work.
00:20:53.240 Right. Um, and, uh, like, like you mentioned, you know, you don't have to hit like pumpy dumpy
00:20:59.560 falling on the ground, right? Like I did. Um, you can learn, you can learn from the right people,
00:21:04.200 the right modalities. Um, I know you have a beautiful modality too, that you, that you facilitate.
00:21:10.040 Um, and yeah, the, just have the conversation, say, I'm curious, you know, I mean, if you want
00:21:16.120 to reach out to me, I'm available, you know, I think you're going to have my, my information
00:21:20.120 on the show notes. Um, if, if, uh, yeah. Yeah. Just going to drop that there. Yeah.
00:21:26.600 So I've heard you use, you know, the words miracle and magnets. So I'm kind of curious as to,
00:21:33.560 you know, what's that all about and what, what does it mean? Because we think sometimes
00:21:38.920 that miracles, uh, are beyond us. Right. But meanwhile, we know that even the smallest
00:21:46.440 thing could be considered miracles as well, but how do we become a magnet for miracles?
00:21:51.880 Yeah. Great question. Oh my God. You're asking such great questions. I love this. Um, so first of all,
00:21:57.080 I think it was Albert Einstein that said, you can look at everything as though, um, oh,
00:22:03.480 I'm going to say this wrong, but it's something like you can look at things as though, um, there's
00:22:08.440 no miracles or you can look at, at life as though everything's a miracle. Right. So it's, it's your
00:22:13.880 choice is how do you choose to see the glass half empty, the glass half full. Right. Um, and so it's
00:22:20.120 just a question of flipping your mindset. Like, like I used to be living out of alignment ego ran my
00:22:26.280 show. I was a victim. I was a victim of everything. Okay. Why are you so mean to me and why aren't you
00:22:32.120 nice and can't you see I'm a nice person? And you know, and so that, that is called, you know, living
00:22:37.800 out of alignment and you're not, you're not a miracle magnet in that state. You are what I call a crap 1.00
00:22:43.240 magnet. And that was me for most of my life. I attracted crappy thing after crappy thing because of my 1.00
00:22:48.840 mindset, what's going on in here. And then when I had the breakdown and breakthrough,
00:22:53.400 I started applying the teachings and tools that were gifted to me divinely
00:22:57.480 from whatever you believe is up there. That's taking care of all of us. And, um, all of a sudden
00:23:02.680 amazing things are happening and I'm not actually looking for those things. They're finding me like
00:23:07.800 becoming a jazz artist of 51 just kind of fell on my lap. Now I'm a multi award winning jazz artist.
00:23:13.000 I won best band in Mississauga twice in the last three years. I have wowed Oprah Winfrey's
00:23:18.120 man, Stedman Graham on, on stage singing to him. And yeah, it's all on YouTube. If you want to check
00:23:23.480 it out, just Google Stedman Graham, Alvira Hopper. Um, you know, I sang at the, um, my second jazz
00:23:29.480 duo, not this one, my, my other one, uh, we sang at the mayor Bonnie Crombie 60th birthday party before
00:23:35.400 COVID hit. And now, you know, she left the, the mayor, uh, position, but she went on to other things.
00:23:41.560 So, but anyways, the, the whole thing is that, you know, she invited me and my partner. That's
00:23:47.320 a miracle because she knew like people in Mississauga who were musicians way better than
00:23:52.360 she knew us. And yet we were invited. So there's the, you vibrate at a different level. Everything
00:23:58.280 is energy, right? So when you're a miracle magnet, you just show up aligned, authentic,
00:24:03.160 fully self-expressed. You get these opportunities, you get these awards. And when you serve with your
00:24:08.600 gifts, I'm a, I'm a jazz artist, but it's not about me. There was a time when I used to sing,
00:24:14.120 um, and I'd get off the stage and if people didn't rush me and tell me I was fabulous,
00:24:18.200 I would feel I failed, right? I used to need that outer validation. When you shift from crap magnet to
00:24:23.880 miracle magnet, you realize this gift is in me for a reason. I have to do it. And it's not about me. 0.93
00:24:30.200 And you go from ego to service, right? Ego to essence, who you truly are. That's when people pick
00:24:36.440 up on your vibration. That's when they invite you to, to, you know, different, whatever, you know,
00:24:41.800 I want to hire you. I want you on my album. I want to give you this gig. I want to give you this award.
00:24:45.960 Like those are miracles and you attract those miracles, right? Like, um, I'll never forget at,
00:24:51.640 at, um, near Bonnie Crombie's birthday, I closed down my show. And a woman who was invited,
00:24:57.880 who actually has a star on the Mississauga walk of fame, which is interesting.
00:25:01.800 She wasn't invited to sing. My band was right. So this is where ego can really take us out of our
00:25:06.920 game. And she comes up at the end and, you know, my, my partner, Mark had packed away his guitar.
00:25:11.960 And, and, you know, I was, I was basically starting to chat with people and she comes up to me and she
00:25:17.080 said, Bonnie told me I could do a song. And she goes up to the mic and she grabs my mic, tells my
00:25:23.080 partner to take his guitar out. And she starts singing the song that I just did two songs before. 0.95
00:25:29.000 It's the song that she fell in love with us over a wonderful world, right? I see trees of green,
00:25:35.560 right? That song. And, and so she starts singing it and she had to close the show. Her ego could not
00:25:42.600 handle that. She was not invited to be the artist that night. So I was like in shock when I saw this.
00:25:49.560 And at first I was angry. And then the next day I said, oh my God, that poor woman, that's all she
00:25:56.360 knows how to do. And she could not fathom that she was not chosen and therefore she had to finish
00:26:03.880 the show. Yeah. That's ego. Yeah. Right. So I sing from a space of service. I don't really care what
00:26:10.520 you think I sound like I'm doing my thing. Cause it's my thing to do. Right. If I sound like crap at
00:26:15.320 jazz bistro where I recorded this album live one night and I, and I hit a wrong note and I sound 0.98
00:26:20.280 like crap, guess what? Somebody in the audience is meant to hear me and go, she started doing this 0.61
00:26:25.480 professionally at 51. She's not even that good. I'm going to go do my thing too. That is what I
00:26:31.480 want to do. I want to activate people to go do their thing. I don't need to be the best. I'm far
00:26:36.120 from the best. This album is full of mistakes, but there's so much joy on this album. I believe people
00:26:41.800 prefer real over perfect. And I, and I believe that if artists had the courage to be real over being
00:26:48.440 perfect, we'd be a little closer to heaven on earth. So yeah. Yeah. I agree that, you know,
00:26:55.000 with, if we think about the law of attraction, right, that the energy that we give out or the
00:27:00.440 signal that we're sending out, we're also a magnet for that of that same signal. So as we continue to
00:27:06.520 do the work and, and I want to be specific about that inner work because you use that word and
00:27:12.840 oftentimes we're doing the outer work. Yeah. Right. We're doing the courses and losing the weight and
00:27:18.600 going to the gym and yeah. Right. All those outer things that we think that that's how we're going to
00:27:24.920 achieve the happiness that we're looking for, right? Outer validation. Yes. That when,
00:27:29.000 like you said, you, you lose those 10 pounds and then I'll be happy. I find that perfect person that,
00:27:34.520 you know, I'll get that promotion at work. I'll like, we're doing all of the things. Yeah. Yeah.
00:27:39.800 And yet we're not reaping the results that we actually want because there's this all,
00:27:44.760 this whole other world inside of us that also requires that attention and that work. Yeah. And so,
00:27:51.240 you know, as you, when you talk about the ego and the ego is something that I think, you know,
00:27:56.920 we know philosophers from the beginning of time and, and researchers and scientists that have tried
00:28:01.880 to define what the ego is. Mm-hmm.
00:28:03.800 So I would love for you to maybe define it according to how you use the word and how you think that it
00:28:11.800 affects us showing up as our authentic self. Yes.
00:28:16.360 Um, so if you, yeah, yeah. So a lot of philosophers and, you know, the, you know,
00:28:22.120 so-called gurus over the years have, have explained what the ego is. I believe the ego is just there to
00:28:27.960 protect us, right? The ego was activated when we were a little kid and we did something that wasn't
00:28:34.680 good and we got scolded for it perhaps, you know, and then we were like, okay, never going to let that
00:28:40.920 happen again. So, you know, for example, me as a little kid, um, I was the people pleaser, right?
00:28:46.840 Because I lived out of alignment and, you know, it wasn't allowed to be me. Um, and, and I remember,
00:28:52.680 uh, you know, putting on the big smile to make my, um, my mom happy. Cause she had depression. 1.00
00:28:58.440 She had OCD. She had, um, she was not a happy person. Right. So I put on the big smile. My ego said,
00:29:05.080 smile. So your mom's happy. Right. So that's just one, you know, that's my protection is just putting
00:29:10.520 on the big smile and being fake. Well, today my smile is real, but for many years it was not right.
00:29:16.440 But there's other ways people show up, like, you know, they have power over, you know, someone
00:29:21.480 because, you know, um, they, they just had to be, you know, um, might is right, you know? And so that's
00:29:28.040 their ego, the bully, right. You know, having, um, and then there's people that show up in victim
00:29:32.920 energy. Oh, don't be mean to me to take care of me. That was my ego as well showing up. Right.
00:29:38.200 So there's all these different inauthentic ways that we show up for, to protect ourselves. And
00:29:43.880 that's the ego to me. And there's also a really great quote, um, not quote, but it's, uh, uh,
00:29:49.560 Dr. Wayne Dyer, God rest his soul. Amazing guy. And he said, ego edging God out. So when you don't
00:29:58.200 live in alignment with your highest self, your God self, you, you will, you will be a crap magnet. 0.98
00:30:04.440 You're not going to track good things and maybe you'll look shiny. Nobody knows what's going on, 0.98
00:30:09.000 but you know what's going on, right? So the ego needs to sit in the back seat. This is how I explain
00:30:14.920 it to my, my clients and my audiences. Um, you and spirit, whatever you believe in spirit, source,
00:30:19.960 God, universe, you and spirit drive the, the, you know, drive the bus or drive the car. And ego is,
00:30:26.280 is the little kid that gets to be strapped in the baby seat and just goes along for the ride.
00:30:31.240 You know, some people say crush the ego, kill the ego. No, no, no. The ego will come up to protect
00:30:35.640 you sometimes. And you need the ego, but don't let it drive the car. Cause if the little three-year-old
00:30:40.280 was driving the car, you know what would happen? We'd, you know, be, you know, popping into trees
00:30:45.160 and buses and, and buildings. Right. So ego cannot drive the car. You know, you and spirit need to drive
00:30:52.360 your car. Right. And everybody, the same thing. And, and so when we keep God in the picture,
00:30:57.400 because spirit, God, spirit source, um, is, is with you, then amazing things happen. You become
00:31:03.800 a miracle magnet. Like literally every single day, me and spirit are, are the A team. We're working
00:31:09.320 together. Right. And for those people who might be listening and maybe feeling uncomfortable with
00:31:15.640 us talking about that spiritual element, which I think it's essential. I'm actually, my, my PhD
00:31:22.440 thesis is actually. Oh, wow. That's so cool. It's actually designed to prove exactly how essential
00:31:27.720 our spirituality. Are you a doctor yet? Not yet. Not yet. Oh, yay. Okay. I'm so excited for you.
00:31:31.960 Thank you. Dr. Teresa Greco. I love it. Thank you. We're working on it. And so I, you know, if people are
00:31:41.640 like, well, I don't know God, you know, for whatever, you know, reasons why maybe they've
00:31:46.840 pulled away or, or, or maybe they, they just grew up without any of that influence. Right.
00:31:52.600 Um, how else do you think that it does show up within us? Right. So I think that, that, that
00:31:59.720 higher, uh, or inner being or that higher self is, is a small voice inside of us that perhaps when you
00:32:07.000 start practicing it and listening to it and, and choosing it instead of the mind that might
00:32:14.200 rationalize out of situations. Right. So the mind might say, well, you know, I'm going to continue
00:32:20.200 working in this workplace that actually isn't serving me and I'm getting bullied and, and my
00:32:25.320 manager is disrespecting me, but you think, yeah, it's okay. Exactly. I'm making money and it's paying
00:32:30.920 for this. Benefits, all of that. Right. But your inner being is saying, no, right. I can't go there.
00:32:38.040 People are dishonoring me. I feel terrible about myself. And, but the rational mind always says,
00:32:43.400 well, no, it's okay. It's okay. Right. Right. Or different relationships are in the same thing.
00:32:47.720 Oh, I known her for a long time. Yeah. So it's okay. We've been friends since like elementary school,
00:32:53.960 but yet, you know, oh, she's just happy, you know, we rationalize again. She's just having a bad day.
00:32:58.440 And all, meanwhile, she's like stepping on top of you, not supporting or, or lifting you up as,
00:33:04.280 as they, as a good friend should. Right. I have a great story for that. Yeah. Yeah.
00:33:08.920 So, so how do, how do we start to listen to that little inner voice and how important is that inner
00:33:15.480 voice when we're trying to judge whether are we living in ego or whether we're living in our true
00:33:22.120 self? Yeah. Right. Yeah. Oh, great question. Oh my God. Your questions are fantastic.
00:33:26.840 So what I want to say about that is that at first, that little, still small voice within
00:33:34.120 is very quiet. Right. Oprah talks about this, right. It whispers. Right. And the, the voice of your ego in
00:33:39.720 your head is like so loud and it's, it's, it's leading the way. Right. But as we do the, the, the
00:33:45.240 practices, right. As we get into things like meditation, perhaps breath work, perhaps journaling.
00:33:51.160 Right. And we get to know what our voice is really saying. Then it's like, oh, I'm getting
00:33:55.960 chills as I say that. Then, then it gets louder. It's like, okay, it's safe to come out and it gets
00:34:01.640 louder and louder. And now that inner voice to me is louder than the voice in my head. So that's what
00:34:08.600 I'm led by. So it's a practice. Right. But there was a time when I didn't listen to it and I was in
00:34:13.000 big pharma and I was making tons of money and I'm like, I'm not happy, but how the hell could I leave?
00:34:18.120 I'm making six figures. I've got the, I've got the company car. They pay for my gas. They pay for my
00:34:23.640 lunch. Like where else am I going to go for this? Right. So you get, you get stuck in a rut. Right.
00:34:28.360 And you pretend everything's okay. Cause you don't want people to worry. And the ego has, has you put
00:34:32.520 on a big smile and you're this people pleaser. And well, I was anyway. Um, and you know, and life
00:34:38.600 sucked. It totally sucked, you know? Um, but then I was able to escape through this modality. And then 0.96
00:34:45.160 when I became a jazz artist at 51, uh, my two best friends of almost 40 years each,
00:34:52.840 um, they could not see me. They thought I was crazy for leaving big pharma.
00:34:57.000 Um, because they didn't really know I had a, I put on the big smile. They didn't even know
00:35:00.600 I was struggling with depression. Didn't my two best friends didn't even know that. Right.
00:35:04.680 And so, so now they've seen me leave and they see that I'm happy. And they're like,
00:35:09.320 like, like they were so used to be beat me being a crap magnet. They were always fixing my problems. 0.97
00:35:14.680 And, and now I remember one of them saying to me when I was happy and I left and I became a coach and
00:35:20.760 she goes, I don't know what to do for you anymore. And I said, what, how about you just love me?
00:35:25.880 Right. She was so used to being in her masculine mode where she was fixing my problems all the time. 1.00
00:35:30.600 Right. So when I became fully me, it's like, it just changed the dynamic, right? They didn't know what
00:35:35.720 to do with me. These two, these two lovely women. I still love them to this day, but I love them from
00:35:41.080 a safe distance because they're not in my life anymore. Cause here's what happened when I became
00:35:46.360 a pro jazz artist and I recorded my jazz album again at jazz bistro. One of them didn't show up
00:35:52.600 for my jazz, uh, for my CD launch. The other one showed up and talked to my mother the whole time.
00:35:59.240 I triggered them. You know why I triggered them? Because they were the musicians. They never did anything
00:36:04.760 with their music, seeing me on stage. They're like, who the hell is she to do that? So guess what?
00:36:12.520 I did not feel safe, seen, celebrated or supported with these women in my life. So I had to learn how 0.94
00:36:19.960 to love them from a safe distance. And I teach you how to do that free on my website. If you go to
00:36:24.120 alvirahopper.com, just download the four circles of personal power. You can learn how to do that too. 0.99
00:36:29.320 There's people in your life that are sucking your energy and they're not validating.
00:36:34.120 Not that I needed outer validation, but cause I validated myself. But at the same time,
00:36:39.880 they, they tried to undermine me. They tried, they, they kind of told people she's crazy. Like, 0.69
00:36:44.680 like they talked together and they're like, we're worried about her, you know?
00:36:47.960 So it's like they weren't able to, and maybe one day they will, who knows they weren't able to get
00:36:52.920 aligned, authentic, fully self-expressed. They're working, you know, like, like most people they're
00:36:57.480 working jobs or taking care of their family. They're lovely women. If one ever needs a kidney, 1.00
00:37:02.360 I'll be the first one in the hospital to see if I'm a match. I still love them. They're just not
00:37:06.920 in my inner circle because I do not feel that they deserve to be in my inner circle. They used to be
00:37:13.720 when I was a crap magnet, they were totally in my inner circle. Now that I'm a miracle magnet, 0.96
00:37:17.880 I only keep certain people in my inner circle. And, um, so they're in my far outer circle,
00:37:23.080 and this is what I teach, right? Far outer circle, FOC, I fucked them with love and light. 1.00
00:37:29.880 So this is where we can put people in our life that don't truly, um, you know, align with us. And, 0.99
00:37:35.640 and, you know, in my family, there's a lot of people in my far outer circle because I can't expect
00:37:41.320 them to understand me and, and to understand my journey. So I just love them from a safe distance.
00:37:47.000 Right. And I keep the right people on the inside and my life is amazing. And I've attracted so many
00:37:51.720 incredible people. I have this beautiful team of people that facilitate this work and we're in each
00:37:56.840 other's inner circles. And like, honestly, life is heaven on earth for me right now. I just want to
00:38:01.880 share that with the rest of the world. Yeah. Thank you. Thank you for, for kind of ending that story
00:38:06.440 with that, you know, living that heaven on earth, because I think it's possible. I think it's
00:38:12.200 possible, right? That we don't have to die. No. To get there. Heaven on earth is here. Yeah. It's
00:38:17.000 here. That's the truth. Tap into that mindset. Yeah. Miracle mindset. Yeah. That's the truth. That's
00:38:21.400 the truth. So what are, to lead the audience with maybe, um, so thank you so much for sharing,
00:38:27.800 like all the different tools that you have available, right? That people can. Just a few of them.
00:38:31.720 There's lots more. Yeah. Yeah. And so what would, would you, would you say are the ones that if,
00:38:39.240 when you're, when you meet someone that's not happy, if you were to give them like, you know, a little
00:38:46.120 giveaway bag and to say, these would be my top, my top tools that I think that, you know, these things
00:38:53.080 would definitely change your life. And maybe it's, you know, in this free program that you even just
00:38:57.160 mentioned. Yeah. What are those things that you think people should be doing on a regular basis?
00:39:01.640 Yes. To be able to always reconnecting with that. Yeah. With, with their essence. Yeah. With their
00:39:08.440 authentic self. Like, because I feel like the world pulls us away. Yeah. That every morning I wake up
00:39:13.560 happy. You know, we've gone to sleep and we, I, I believe I return home too. I really, and then I come,
00:39:19.560 I wake up and there are things that pull us away quickly. Many people, right away, they go onto their cell
00:39:24.840 phone. Yeah. Right. Oh, that's so bad. So bad. I listen to so many different speakers too that
00:39:32.040 do this work and it's always like, don't reach for your phone. Right. Don't reach. So I'm aware
00:39:36.280 I'm going to read. Keep it out of your bedroom. Yeah. I'm going to reiterate that. Don't, don't reach
00:39:41.080 for that. Right. And that if you can implement some practices very early on in your day, that can help
00:39:48.680 you to, to align and then stay aligned. Right. Because I think when we first wake up, we're aligned.
00:39:54.840 But then, you know, people watch the news and they go on their cell phone and then like different
00:39:59.560 things, the weather's not the best that day. Like a lot of things can start to immediately pull us
00:40:05.000 away. Yeah. So I think that it's so important for us to know what are those core things,
00:40:10.040 things that we should do on an everyday basis so that when stuff happens, I don't know, I feel like
00:40:16.360 it just boomerangs off me now. It's just like, boing, boing. And then people say,
00:40:20.760 that's what the inner work does. And it's like, Teresa, did you not see what that person said
00:40:25.480 to you? And I'm like, whatever. I don't know. I'm like having this cloud and I'm just going around
00:40:34.440 and I'm just like, I don't know, like oblivious or something. But I'm telling you, this is what
00:40:41.080 the work does. Things are happening and you know... You've got the tools that you need
00:40:45.480 to get back into your zone. Yes, exactly. So that you realize that all of these things are
00:40:52.520 outside of your control. Like when I see it, I'm like, oh, that's a you problem or that's a he 0.99
00:40:58.440 problem. It's like not a me problem to solve today. Not my circus, not my monkeys. I think
00:41:05.560 that's a Polish saying. Yeah, exactly. You don't get dragged into drama anymore, right?
00:41:11.160 No, no, no. It doesn't. It doesn't find me at all. So that's a good thing. But still,
00:41:16.360 you know, we don't, we really don't live in a bubble. So, you know, there are things,
00:41:20.600 but this bubble is literally like the boomerangs just go bing, bing, bing like that. So what would
00:41:26.520 you say is that essential toolkit to help us to... Well, I honestly, I have a program. I have a way in
00:41:35.160 which you can do it. It's under $300 Canadian just to learn the tools. And then you can choose to work
00:41:40.600 with one of my mentors if you really want it to affect your neuroplasticity and you can transform.
00:41:46.840 Because once you start thinking and behaving in a different way over six months, it actually rewires
00:41:51.640 your brain. So you can go from being a crap magnet into being a miracle magnet. And I have them, 0.97
00:41:57.080 but you know, just to name a few just off the top of my head, you definitely have to have a morning
00:42:02.040 practice. You have to have a practice where you are reminding yourself of who you truly are. So you're
00:42:08.040 reading something that's spiritual because we are not like, um, uh, what's the way they describe it?
00:42:15.400 Uh, we are spirits in these meat suits called Teresa and Alvira, right? We're not these bodies with a
00:42:21.720 soul where we're a soul with a body, right? So when you connect every morning to the, to that fact that
00:42:27.160 you are, you are a spirit in this body and you have a purpose and your purpose, I believe is bigger than
00:42:33.160 you. And Oprah says it really well when she says our purpose is to connect with our purpose and to
00:42:38.840 humbly serve the world with it. So if we can start the day realizing that we are spirit in these meat
00:42:44.280 suits and that our purpose is bigger than us, then we, we take action on things that we know are going
00:42:50.120 to keep us connected to that. So definitely reading like something like, you know, um, Wayne Dyer,
00:42:56.760 I just mentioned him, you know, Marianne Williamson, there's so many amazing women, you know,
00:43:00.360 Joe dispense, Joe dispense. There's so many great writers that keep us connected to our,
00:43:05.080 our heart and soul. Name of my jazz band, heart and soul, by the way. Um, and, and then, um, you
00:43:10.200 know, and then I recommend a meditation practice. That's where we cried, quiet our mind so we can
00:43:16.120 listen to our heart and soul. And that is something that is hard at first, but just start small one
00:43:22.280 minute a day up into two minutes, three minutes. And then as you do it more and more, you're going to
00:43:28.120 start hearing the voice of your heart and soul get louder and louder. And when you live from that
00:43:33.000 place, that's when you make good decisions, that's when you make good choices. And that's where I
00:43:37.720 coach from, you know, I get, I get my clients into that zone where they listen to what's inside and
00:43:42.920 then I ask them questions and then they, they have the answers all inside them, but then they activate
00:43:48.600 those answers and they put them into action and that's when miracles find them. Right. So this is what I
00:43:53.320 do with my clients. I love it. It's not work. It's just, it's my purpose. Um, so those are,
00:43:58.520 those are two. So reading meditation and also journaling, you know, get into the habit of
00:44:03.800 journaling, what, whatever's on your mind, just free thought, just, you know, I'm really pissed
00:44:08.520 off right now because somebody did that and blah, blah, blah. And you know, just whatever's going on.
00:44:13.000 And then just like, wow, you know, maybe that's a, that's a them problem. It's not a me problem.
00:44:18.120 You get to look at what's going on in your head. Right. So, so, I mean, those are just a few of the
00:44:22.760 tools that, that I recommend. Yeah. Yeah. I journaling is, I think, and used in that way too,
00:44:28.840 because sometimes I'll just journal what's coming through. Right. So when I'm sitting in that space
00:44:35.000 and I'm like, oh, you know, these are some of the things that I'm working towards. And then I, I,
00:44:40.280 I'm sitting in that place listening for direction. Right. And then just writing some of that down.
00:44:47.240 But I know for some people it's hard for them even to fall asleep at night because it's like,
00:44:52.760 you know, monkey mind. Right. And it's going through all the things that happened and all
00:44:56.120 things you have to do tomorrow. And, and, and sleep, I think is one of those very, like,
00:45:01.800 it's essential. It's like breathing. Yeah. That's how important sleep is to our well-being and well-being
00:45:07.880 of all aspects of ourselves. Yeah. And as an educator, you don't know, and I've been teaching almost 30
00:45:13.640 years how many, um, kids I work with that are all tired. Yeah. And, and the kids were always the
00:45:20.120 energizer bunnies. Like they were always the ones that you're like, where, where do you have all this
00:45:24.040 energy? Like, yeah. Insane. Yeah. No, they're not today. No, they're all tired. And why is that,
00:45:29.240 Teresa? Because many of them are on devices and not getting the sleep that the devices are in their
00:45:36.040 bedrooms. Oh. So they're gaming. They're on their phones to like wee hours. And because I say,
00:45:40.920 why are you tired? Why are you tired? I say, are you on your device? Yeah. So there's no boundaries
00:45:45.720 being set between like technology and ourselves. Like I think that when we think about boundaries,
00:45:52.440 oftentimes we think it's between like us and certain people. Right. But it's also between like us and
00:45:58.360 certain people on our phones, right? Or on our gaming systems to say, it's very interesting how we're in a
00:46:05.000 time where we're more connected than ever, but actually more disconnected from ourselves.
00:46:13.160 Yeah. I just got chills when you said that. Yeah. More than ever before. So we think that like,
00:46:18.760 yeah, sure. The kids are gaming and they're, they're playing with this person and that person,
00:46:22.840 or they're on their phone and they're checking. But when we're on, so I've looked into some of the
00:46:26.840 research around how is that activity actually contributing to our, to our mental illness.
00:46:33.240 Yeah. And the part that is the most, um, like the kind of the link between all of them is that
00:46:40.440 comparison part. Yes. Yes. That comparison. We don't go on the devices to compare ourselves,
00:46:45.960 but yet it's, there's something inside us that gets activated where all of a sudden we start saying,
00:46:52.840 Oh, wow. Like, do I look like that? Or do I have those things? Oh, am I doing that? Am I eating
00:46:58.040 here? Am I dressing like that? Am I all of a sudden, all these things come in and start to influence,
00:47:03.320 but nevertheless, and they're also designed to be addictive. Yeah. So like the algorithms are all
00:47:08.600 designed that way. Yeah. It's insane how much psychology goes into like the way, the way that they set
00:47:14.520 up these dopamine hits. People need dopamine hits. Yeah. And so it's, so it's keeping people up and not just
00:47:20.840 kids like adults too, right? They're, they're on that for hours at a time doing scrolling, right?
00:47:26.120 And therefore aren't getting the sleep that they need to be able to like do school, to do work,
00:47:32.600 to do life. And people are road raging and, and, and getting into like arguments. Like I feel like
00:47:39.560 people are going around like pressure cookers. We're the smallest thing. It's like, and I'm like,
00:47:45.160 yeah, God, like, right. Yeah. That used to be me. That used to be me. I was a rageaholic back then
00:47:51.800 because I would just put on the big smile, put on, you know, and then, and then I would just blow.
00:47:56.040 Uh huh. And it's what I learned at home. My mother was the same, you know, right. But there's other
00:48:01.480 ways of being. Yeah. I don't do that anymore. And, and the sleep I think is one of those,
00:48:05.640 like if you even look into a lot of the illnesses, what are some of the treatments and the sleep is
00:48:12.840 always like one of those elements. So I don't know if it's something that you really, when we
00:48:17.560 think about loving the body, right. Loving and honoring the body. Yeah. Well, I love that you
00:48:22.440 mentioned that because like I said, all modalities matter, right? The miracle magnet movement states,
00:48:27.080 all modalities matter. So there's people that are huge advocates for that. And, and if that's
00:48:32.360 something you need to apply to your life, then absolutely, you know, find Teresa and work with
00:48:37.640 her because she's going to help you to get your sleep, right? Like I'm actually working with, um,
00:48:41.800 an amazing health coach, um, Renee, and she is, um, huge advocate for, for good sleep. 0.98
00:48:48.920 And so I know I can do better. And so you, you've got to go to the modalities that are addressing the
00:48:55.400 things that you're dealing with. Right. So that's a really important one, Teresa. Yeah. I'm really
00:48:59.480 glad you brought that up. Yeah. Renee Roberts. Sorry. I was trying to think of her last name. She's
00:49:03.000 awesome. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. So I didn't know if that was one of the tools and it's not,
00:49:07.560 but all the tools that you need are in there. Right. So I teach you in my three hour course,
00:49:14.680 you know, two, there's three different categories. There's, uh, extreme self-care, you know,
00:49:19.560 and then there's spirituality and then there's creativity. Those were the three pillars that
00:49:23.400 were shown to me that helped me shift from crap magnet to miracle magnet. And so whatever modalities
00:49:30.120 keep you in, in alignment in those three areas, keep you in a higher vibration. You know,
00:49:35.560 if sleep is one of those things, then yes, it's in there. Right. So you, you get to create that.
00:49:40.760 It's like a blueprint. You create it yourself. What is it that Teresa needs to live in alignment
00:49:45.880 with her highest self, her highest power, her highest purpose. And that's what she needs to do.
00:49:51.080 Clearly sleep needs to be there for you. I haven't put it on mine, but maybe I should,
00:49:55.640 because I think I could sleep better. Um, but it's funny, you know, like even when I don't sleep that well,
00:50:01.240 it, I I'm making up for it in other areas so I can still show up kind of fresh, even though like,
00:50:06.200 like last night I went to bed late and hopefully I don't look like crap right now, but I do enough
00:50:11.160 good stuff. I'm loving my vibe with enough things that I think if you look at the bank account, it's,
00:50:16.520 it's more on the higher side, you know? So you've got to figure out, you know, what does your,
00:50:21.640 you know, um, whole living look like, you know? Um, and, and it's not about,
00:50:27.400 you know, being perfect. It's about being real and just put into your miracle mix,
00:50:33.320 what you need to live your best life. Yeah. Thank you. Thank you. Now,
00:50:36.920 if people would like to get ahold of you after the show, find out more about, you know,
00:50:41.080 some of the things that you've talked about, how can they do that? So, um, I would go to
00:50:44.760 alvirahopper.com backslash link tree. And that is where I have all sorts of freebies and, uh,
00:50:52.120 my courses there as well that I just mentioned. Um, and, uh, there's also a little, um, 15 minute
00:50:58.680 chat with me. If you're, if you're serious about doing this work and you want to know what that
00:51:02.440 looks like, talk to me and I'd love to be able to help you learn and discern if this is right for you.
00:51:09.400 Um, so, uh, yeah, and there's also some podcasts in there that I've hosted and YouTube shows. So
00:51:15.320 there's a whole bunch of content. If you want to learn more about it and just stalk me for a while
00:51:19.000 before you talk to me, see if you vibe with the vibe of, of the, the, um, the mission, um,
00:51:25.160 of revealing heaven on earth and being a miracle magnet, it's not for everybody for sure. But if
00:51:30.360 it's for you, it's going to transform your life. So I would recommend going to alvirahopper.com
00:51:35.880 backslash link tree. Thank you. And if somebody wants to hear more of your music,
00:51:40.680 Oh, my music, you've talked about, you know, what's funny. I think I have, I I'm bad. I'm really
00:51:45.320 bad at this. I have a YouTube channel that has a lot of my songs, um, with my first band,
00:51:50.280 not my second band. And, um, I don't do much with my YouTube channel. I know I, I, I need to be,
00:51:57.000 so they could probably just find me on YouTube and check out my, my music that way. So yeah,
00:52:01.960 yeah, I would love to, I haven't listened to anything. Oh, really? Oh yeah. I would love to find
00:52:06.440 that. Yeah. Thank you. Oh my God. Would you want to hear me sing right now? Okay. Sure. Okay. A little
00:52:11.000 jingle. Yeah. Well, I have a few jingles, but the one I would like to share is, uh, for my highest
00:52:15.640 level coaching program. So if you're somebody who is struggling and you know that, oh my God,
00:52:20.840 what she's saying makes sense. And you know, you, you're willing to, you know, do something about it
00:52:26.440 because you're high net worth individual and you're living out of alignment and you refuse to die with
00:52:31.560 your real, real music. And you like my dad did. Right. I, I was 11 years old and I was told,
00:52:37.400 you know, you can't be on stage because women on stages are slots. That's when I was shut down 1.00
00:52:43.560 and I was told, and well, I said, okay, daddy, I'm not allowed to be who I want to be.
00:52:48.040 Who do you need me to be? So you will love me. That's when living out of alignment started.
00:52:51.880 That's when imposterhood started. That's when people pleasing started. That's when I chose not
00:52:56.200 one, but two solid healthcare careers. And the reason he told me that is because that's what he was
00:53:01.160 told. He wasn't allowed to be fully himself. Sadly, 13 years ago, he died with his real music still in
00:53:07.080 him. He died with two types of cancer, Teresa, a marriage in shambles on meds, uh, for his mental
00:53:13.320 health stuff. He, he was a shell of himself when he died because I believe his body kept score and knew
00:53:20.040 he was living out of alignment. There's a great book called your body keeps score and our body is
00:53:25.400 really smart. It knows when we're living out of alignment. So that's sadly what happened to my dad.
00:53:30.280 And I was going down that same route and I was bullied and I had a target on my back. We both did,
00:53:35.400 but I was able to, um, you know, say, no, I don't want to feel like this anymore.
00:53:41.400 Hit rock bottom, got a way out, recorded my first jazz album in my mid fifties. And so, um,
00:53:48.520 does he think I'm a slut from heaven? I don't think so. I really feel that he's proud of me, 0.99
00:53:54.440 but it was having the courage to go do the thing that you were told you couldn't do, you know? So I just
00:53:59.640 invite people to think about what's still in them to do. Right. Um, yeah. So, so, so my program's
00:54:05.240 called all of you. So for these people that are up here and other people as well, um, you don't have
00:54:09.960 to be part of you. You get to be all of you. Right. And here's my little, my little, uh, song that goes
00:54:14.280 along with it. A one, a two, a one, two, three, all of you. Why not be all of you? Can't you see the
00:54:26.760 world's no good without you? Be every part that lights up your heart and why not be all of you?
00:54:47.240 Beautiful. Thank you. It's like giving permission to people. Yeah. That's what I want to do. Yeah.
00:54:54.600 It's beautiful. And I feel like we don't have enough cheerleaders on this planet that, that
00:55:01.560 I used to be a pro cheerleader, by the way, I got bullied by the mean girl in the cheerleader squad, 1.00
00:55:07.320 but that's another story. Yeah. Right. That advocate for us and lift us up and cheerleader and say,
00:55:13.240 and say like, yeah, you can, you can be totally all of you. It's beautiful. I'm nobody special.
00:55:19.000 Who am I? I'm literally somebody who's ready to die, but I wasn't meant to die. I was meant to evolve and
00:55:24.440 show others they can do it too. So thank you for bringing me on your show. This was so fun.
00:55:29.000 You're amazing. Thank you so much for being on. Thank you.
00:55:31.800 Thanks for joining me on the happy hour. If you liked the show, please like, and subscribe.
