00:00:17.600 into where this interview is going to go?
00:00:19.820 Yeah, I'd be happy to.
00:00:20.900 I was fortunate I did 30 years RCMP, four years as chief of police,
00:00:26.480 15 years running my own company,
00:00:28.360 And then I'm now a senior advisor for Global AML at Versa Bank in Canada.

00:00:37.100 I did a lot of undercover work, got into organized crime, infiltrated some of the highest levels in British Columbia in the 80s.
00:00:46.720 And then in the 90s, actually, I got involved with a group that was smuggling.
00:00:52.440 They made between $600 and $800 million in revenue from smuggling alcohol and tobacco in direct ties to the Genovese crime family.
00:01:04.540 I was working between the U.S. and Canada, including Las Vegas and Messina, New York, and then the rest up into Canada.
00:01:13.540 So we set a trucking company, so that was very interesting.
00:01:17.460 And then I had the opportunity on the ground floor to start the Proceeds of Crime program.
00:01:22.440 Thank you.
