Valuetainment - ＂Clinton Cut Him Off＂ - Michael Wolff REVEALS Epstein’s Elite Inner Circle Collapse After '06 Arrest

00:00:00.000 Of the 100 hours that you have, what were some things that he said?

00:00:05.700 Did he sound like he was upset at the president?

00:00:09.860 Did he sound like he was, he missed the relationship?

00:00:13.360 Did he sound like he was over-exaggerating, under-exaggerating?

00:00:16.600 Did you feel hate?

00:00:17.440 Did you feel animosity?

00:00:18.940 Did you feel betrayal?

00:00:20.380 What was he like when he was speaking to you during those hundreds of hours specifically

00:00:24.460 to the relationship with Trump?

00:00:25.380 As I say, he was enormously detailed about his relationship.

00:00:30.000 He was, I mean, obviously Donald Trump was about to become, or was in the process of

00:00:38.740 becoming the president and then became the president.

00:00:41.460 So this became obviously a substantial fact in Jeffrey Epstein's life.

00:00:50.420 His best friend had become the president.

00:00:53.540 Now, this was a friendship that stopped over a dispute, a real estate dispute in 2004.

00:01:01.860 And they became bitter enemies.

00:01:08.600 You know, and, and, and briefly, and I recount this in one of my books.

00:01:14.840 Jeffrey Epstein believed himself to be the top bidder for a piece of real estate in Palm Beach

00:01:23.740 in 2004.

00:01:27.040 He had bid $36 million for this Palm Beach house.

00:01:33.360 He took his friend Donald Trump over to advise him on, on the logistics of moving the swimming

00:01:41.800 pool.

00:01:42.280 His friend Trump then immediately went around his back and bid $40 million for the house and

00:01:50.320 got the house.

00:01:52.600 Epstein, on his part, believed and had, Epstein had pretty intimate knowledge of Trump's, of

00:02:01.540 financial basis.

00:02:04.260 I mean, they were involved with deals together.

00:02:06.000 Epstein was among Trump's business advisors, in essence, and Epstein believed that Trump did

00:02:14.200 not have $40 million.

00:02:16.620 Therefore, therefore, his, he concluded that, that, that Trump was fronting for someone.

00:02:25.980 And that this was essentially a money laundering, part of a money laundering scheme.

00:02:31.080 And in fact, the house was sold, Trump sold the house within two years for $95 million, which

00:02:39.760 would be a kind of a red flag that, that something was going on here.

00:02:46.820 Trump began to, Trump was, Epstein was furious with, with Trump over this real estate betrayal.

00:02:56.200 And I often think that, that men of a certain level of wealth, the thing that, um, angers

00:03:03.480 them most is, um, is a real estate betrayal.

00:03:07.460 But he started to threaten Trump with lawsuits and with, um, going, going to the press with

00:03:14.780 this allegation that this is Epstein, Epstein threatened to sue Trump.

00:03:19.700 Yes.

00:03:20.140 Yes.

00:03:20.380 Um, and I've been to this house, it looks nothing like it does in this picture because

00:03:24.740 they tore it down.

00:03:25.560 They rebuilt it back up.

00:03:27.060 I looked at this house, uh, four years ago with a realtor in Palm beach.

00:03:31.040 It was showing me a bunch of homes.

00:03:32.580 It's an immaculate house.

00:03:33.880 I mean, the house looks, uh, it, it doesn't look like a house.

00:03:36.920 It looks like a museum.

00:03:38.360 It's a beautiful property.

00:03:39.520 So he's threatened to sue him, even though they're friends, he's threatened to sue him over

00:03:44.100 this deal.

00:03:44.640 Yes.

00:03:45.060 Okay.

00:03:45.320 Yes.

00:03:45.640 Um, as I say, rich men break down over real estate disputes.

00:03:50.040 Um, um, at any rate, um, at that point, Epstein's legal problems began.

00:03:58.200 Um, the police began to investigate him over allegations that he was, um, um, that there

00:04:06.600 were underage women coming to his house. 1.00

00:04:09.720 Epstein believed that it was Trump who first informed the police about what was going on

00:04:16.360 at Epstein's house.

00:04:18.120 Um, and from that point on, they were, they were nothing but bitter enemies.

00:04:24.440 And this is what he's telling you.

00:04:25.680 This is one of the instances of what he's telling you that, yes, that the following, that

00:04:29.880 is the version of this related by Epstein.

00:04:33.880 Okay.

00:04:34.060 If it's a hundred hours, you know, Michael, what else did he say?

00:04:39.460 Uh, did he say anything about Clinton's?

00:04:41.540 Did he say anything about, um, uh, uh, uh, other politicians or businessmen?

00:04:47.320 Yeah.

00:04:47.400 You know, yeah.

00:04:48.040 He said, he said a lot.

00:04:50.140 I mean, the hundred hours is, is, is, is, is pretty much a, uh, in, in, in some sense,

00:04:58.040 his autobiography.

00:04:59.720 He's talking through the details of his life.

00:05:02.260 Trump does not occupy most of these hours.

00:05:05.000 Trump, I would say is, you know, 15%, maybe, maybe, maybe a little more.

00:05:10.460 I mean, he keeps coming back to Trump and obviously that's one of my interests here.

00:05:16.340 So I'm pressing him on the, on the Trump relationship, but he's also speaking about

00:05:21.080 broadly other things.

00:05:22.760 Yes.

00:05:22.960 He speaks about Clinton some, somewhat, um, um, Clinton turned his back on Epstein.

00:05:31.920 I mean, after Epstein's legal problems began.

00:05:34.800 So he was, uh, you know, I, I think, I think he felt that at best Clinton was a fair weather

00:05:43.580 friend.

00:05:44.080 Um, and that was, that was largely, largely the regard he had for, for Clinton at this, at

00:05:51.580 this point.

00:05:52.260 Um, and, and there was a set of other people like, like that, um, you know, many people

00:06:00.360 turned on, on Epstein after this.

00:06:03.760 What other names would you say?

00:06:05.020 So far we have Clinton, we have Trump, any other big names that he would speak to?

00:06:09.800 Well, yes.

00:06:10.900 Yeah.

00:06:11.320 Ghislaine Maxwell.

00:06:12.280 Um, so Ghislaine Maxwell, who had been, who had been very close to him, obviously, um,

00:06:20.220 after 2004, after the police stepped into this 2004, 2005, she, um, very much distanced

00:06:28.560 herself from, um, uh, from Epstein and Epstein was, was hurt by this.

00:06:36.080 She distanced herself from Epstein.

00:06:38.900 Yes.

00:06:39.520 Yeah.

00:06:39.800 They had no, I mean, this is a, in the, in this story and, and obviously Ghislaine is

00:06:45.800 so, so closely linked to Epstein at this point and the, and the one person in this whole scandal

00:06:52.800 to go to jail.

00:06:54.240 Um, but the truth is that by 2004, 2005, she was pretty much out of his life.

00:07:00.820 Um, wow.

00:07:02.140 Um, and, um, yeah, I mean a little, you know, again,

00:07:06.080 it's very hard to separate.

00:07:07.580 I mean, the whole facts of this, of this Epstein story are clouded, not least of all by the

00:07:14.100 fact that, that, um, most of the information that we get about this story is from people

00:07:20.080 who don't know anything, who are speculating or who are, um, adopting the information they

00:07:26.220 have heard from somebody else who doesn't know anything.

00:07:28.820 And the people who do know things are, have been so, um, paranoid about being connected

00:07:36.440 to Jeffrey Epstein that they haven't spoken.

00:07:39.640 So therefore, therefore everything or many of the things that we know about this, this

00:07:45.260 story are, um, soft.

00:07:49.060 Did he say anything about Ghislaine that maybe the public doesn't know about that it stuck

00:07:52.840 out any story that he said where you're like, wow, I never knew that.

00:07:56.440 I think the public needs to know this story about the two of them.

00:08:01.160 Well, I, I don't, I, I, I mean, I think what, what, what's not recognized is that a, that,

00:08:10.340 that Ghislaine was out of his life at a relatively long ago moment.

00:08:16.280 Um, that, that, that, that while they had had a close relationship, a boyfriend, girlfriend

00:08:24.240 relationship for a short period, after that, she increasingly came, became not his partner

00:08:33.780 in crime, but his, you know, his functionary, his employee, she was, you know, she was getting

00:08:41.360 paid and she was carrying out whatever, whatever duties he told her to carry out or whatever

00:08:48.500 duties she, she inferred that she had to carry out.

00:08:52.680 Um, so, so I think, again, that's another misperception of this.

00:08:58.020 That's interesting.

00:08:58.920 If you're saying they didn't, uh, no longer did things together.

00:09:01.920 I think she got charged, found guilty in 2021, December, 2021, which is less than four years

00:09:08.480 ago.

00:09:08.720 I think she's facing 20 years right now, and it was sex trafficking of a minor, conspiracy

00:09:13.220 to incite, entice minors to travel, to engage in illegal sex acts, conspiracy to transport

00:09:19.080 minors with intent to engage in illegal sexual activity.

00:09:21.480 Right, but all, all of this, all of this, every specific here is, um, relates to what happened

00:09:29.360 prior to 2004 or five.

00:09:32.580 Got it.

00:09:32.900 So this goes back to then.
