00:00:00.000 Did you ever ask him about, because, you know, a lot of, I've sat down with his brother.
00:00:03.680 On the topic of?
00:00:05.860 I've interviewed his brother, Mark Epstein.
00:00:07.760 He came to my cigar lounge about, I don't know, a year and a half, two years.
00:00:10.720 I don't know the exact date, but he was with us for a couple hours.
00:00:13.520 And we sat down, we had a lot of conversations.
00:00:15.160 Well, that's an interesting conversation.
00:00:16.900 I enjoy talking to the guy on what he had to say.
00:00:20.980 You'll hear the name being dropped of Mossad regularly that he had ties back to Mossad.
00:00:26.420 I mean, why would Ehud Barak visit his place 36 times?
00:00:30.760 Why would he, you know, regularly have access to the White House when he would go see Clinton?
00:00:37.040 Did you get a feeling from the 100 hours you guys spoke together that there was any ties to the Mossad?
00:00:41.460 Sure, sure.
00:00:42.140 Let me give you precisely my feeling, because I don't know.
00:00:47.480 And, you know, Epstein, I think it's very possible to say Epstein lived a very compartmentalized life.
00:00:55.080 You saw what he wanted you to see.
00:00:59.360 But I had been at Epstein's house many, many, many times when Ehud Barak was there.
00:01:07.420 Certainly a dozen times, maybe, maybe more.
00:01:11.000 Oh, wow.
00:01:12.480 And Ehud Barak and Jeffrey Epstein were very close.
00:01:18.300 I mean, I think among, you know, they were certainly among each other's closer friends.
00:01:25.940 And, you know, I think it's been documented that Ehud Barak got money from Epstein.
00:01:33.740 And they had various business dealings together.
00:01:39.500 But also they clearly enjoyed each other.
00:01:42.160 I mean, I saw this again and again and again.
00:01:46.360 And obviously Ehud Barak had a very clear connection to Mossad.
00:01:55.000 Although Ehud Barak, a former prime minister, was out of power.
00:02:01.020 But very much knowledgeable about and engaged in the Israeli politics and the Israeli power structure.
00:02:12.580 Having said that, and therefore Epstein himself was very knowledgeable about Israel, about its interests, about its politics.
00:02:29.000 And to a degree, about its intelligence.
00:02:33.540 My view of Epstein, however, is that he was, he possessed, the information he possessed would be better characterized as gossip rather than intelligence.
00:02:49.200 And Epstein was a great gossip, a great purveyor of information, information in whatever form.
00:03:02.460 And he was a purveyor of that information to a wide variety of people.
00:03:10.280 I mean, he certainly was not, he certainly had no one client he was passing information to.
00:03:16.900 Information was part of Epstein's currency, and it was a currency that he used for, I think, financial gain, but also for social climbing.
00:03:31.180 So one of the reasons people would come to Epstein's house and sit around his table is that you would hear things that the New York Times didn't know.
00:03:41.340 And, but, but, but this was not, this was not carefully shared.
00:03:48.560 This was, as, as I say, a gossip's currency.
00:03:56.560 I mean, some would say gossip and intel are cousins.
00:03:59.820 You know, they're somewhat related.
00:04:01.140 I can still gossip and give you intel.
00:04:02.980 Well, I know, I'm sure that they are, that they are, are related.
00:04:05.480 They're just not the same thing, and I'm not sure that if you would, that you would necessarily want your intelligence agent to be one of the world's biggest gossips.
00:04:17.120 Because he couldn't contain himself.
00:04:19.420 He would tell anyone anything.
00:04:21.840 He couldn't contain himself.
00:04:23.120 Epstein couldn't contain himself.
00:04:24.400 So he was always talking.
00:04:26.300 Always.
00:04:27.080 So then that's, that's actually, that, that makes for a terrible Mossad.
00:04:30.960 It's terrible.
00:04:31.820 Yes.
00:04:32.120 I would say, because, and, and a part of it, which is kind of weird, when, when he said they had a, at one point, Ehud Barak, they had a scheduled monthly meeting, I think 15 consecutive months.
00:04:43.440 And one time in, and these happened like at 2015, 2017, 2013, if I'm not mistaken, somebody can search this and verify it.
00:04:50.320 And even at one point, Ehud Barak said, I actually didn't know about his dealings in the past.
00:04:54.520 I didn't know that he had these things that were said, which is kind of naive to say that being the prime minister of Israel. 1.00
00:04:59.620 Ehud is, is, is, is full of shit. 0.99
00:05:02.120 But, you know, Ehud knew Jeffrey, I mean, I mean, did Ehud know that Jeffrey's, that, that Jeffrey Epstein had clearly had a fetish for young girls? 1.00
00:05:15.440 I don't know.
00:05:16.880 I don't know to what extent Ehud knew that, but Ehud certainly was not, did not know, as he now represents Jeffrey Epstein on a casual basis.
00:05:29.320 They were close, close, close, close friends.
00:05:32.480 Did you, what did you, what was your feeling about Ehud when you were running?
00:05:35.300 Was it just like it was nonchalant?
00:05:36.960 They were just hanging out because the investment Epstein had made, I think, in Carbine 9-11?
00:05:42.120 Or did you, what feeling did you get from him?
00:05:44.940 Yeah.
00:05:45.140 Good, bad, indifferent?
00:05:47.000 Completely.
00:05:48.060 Ehud was there, came to Jeffrey, Jeffrey Epstein's because he enjoyed it.
00:05:52.840 He enjoyed meeting other people.
00:05:55.220 He enjoyed, I mean, Ehud, who, as I say, I, you know, have spent a lot of time with, with now.
00:06:01.660 Ehud is an incredible gas bag.
00:06:04.540 I, you know, I think that he will go, oh my God.
00:06:07.880 Well, you know, he would go anywhere.
00:06:10.000 He would be anywhere in any situation in which people were, he had a captive audience to listen to him.
00:06:17.240 Go on and on and on and on and, and, you know, and Jeffrey Epstein listened to him.
00:06:23.520 He indulged him for, you know, I, I mean, I mean, Ehud, Ehud gave, you know, I mean,
00:06:31.520 I would say in any hour block of conversation, Ehud might supply five minutes of, of interesting information.
00:06:40.560 When you were Ron Epstein.
00:06:41.560 55 minutes that others.
00:06:43.760 You would have to lower.
00:06:44.860 I haven't heard that word in a long time.
