00:00:00.280 Here's Lutnik, which by the way, he said it to everyone's faces that are sitting right next to him.
00:00:05.940 It wasn't like he was holding anything back.
00:00:08.500 Rob, I don't know if you have that clip or not.
00:00:10.200 You have it here that you have it in yellow with the clip.
00:00:14.220 You know what I'm talking about on.
00:00:17.640 Is this it?
00:00:18.700 Yeah.
00:00:19.000 Go for it.
00:00:20.320 OK.
00:00:20.640 OK.
00:00:21.260 We are in Davos at the World Economic Forum.
00:00:23.980 And the Trump administration and myself, we are here to make a very clear point.
00:00:31.340 Globalization has failed the West and the United States of America.
00:00:37.460 It's a failed policy.
00:00:39.320 It is what the WEF has stood for, which is export offshore, far shore, find the cheapest labor in the world, and the world is a better place for it.
00:00:51.200 The fact is, it has left America behind.
00:00:55.020 It has left the American workers behind. 0.67
00:00:57.840 And what we are here to say is that America first is a different model, one that we encourage other countries to consider, which is that our workers come first.
00:01:10.340 We can have policies that impact our workers.
00:01:15.880 Sovereignty is your borders.
00:01:18.820 You're entitled to have borders.
00:01:20.140 You shouldn't offshore your medicine.
00:01:22.500 You shouldn't offshore your semiconductors.
00:01:25.100 You shouldn't offshore your entire industrial base and have it be hollowed out beneath you.
00:01:30.320 You should not be dependent for that which is fundamental to your sovereignty on any other nation.
00:01:37.820 And if you're going to be dependent on someone, it darn well better be your best allies.
00:01:43.760 OK.
00:01:43.980 And so that is a different way of thinking.
00:01:47.660 It is completely different than the WEF.
00:01:50.860 I viewed the WEF as not a flagpole in the middle.
00:01:55.260 But in fact, they are the flag.
00:01:58.100 Whichever way the wind blew, so it blew.
00:02:00.460 You should have solar.
00:02:01.840 You should have wind.
00:02:03.120 Why are you going to do solar and wind?
00:02:05.620 Why would Europe agree to be net zero in 2030 when they don't make a battery?
00:02:14.500 They don't make a battery.
00:02:16.180 So if they go 2030, they are deciding to be subservient to China who makes the batteries.
00:02:24.160 By the way, he says this yesterday.
00:02:27.160 Trump comes out today.
00:02:28.320 Did you hear what he said about windmills in China?
00:02:31.160 Yeah, no more.
00:02:31.540 Yeah, go ahead and play this clip, Rob, about Trump talking about windmills in China.
00:02:35.400 I just sent it to you.
00:02:36.880 Trump comes out and says the only person winning of buying windmill is China. 1.00
00:02:42.760 And he calls them stupid people who buy windmills. 1.00
00:02:46.520 They make the components. 1.00
00:02:47.420 Yeah, watch this here.
00:02:48.320 Go ahead, Rob.
00:02:49.860 Windmills all over Europe.
00:02:52.080 There are windmills all over the place. 0.99
00:02:54.960 And they are losers.
00:02:57.700 One thing is that the more windmills a country has, the more money that country loses and the 0.99
00:03:04.360 worse that country is doing.
00:03:06.520 China makes almost all of the windmills.
00:03:08.900 And yet I haven't been able to find any wind farms in China.
00:03:13.420 Did you ever think of that?
00:03:14.600 That's a good way of looking at it.
00:03:15.780 They're smart.
00:03:16.480 China is very smart.
00:03:17.520 They make them.
00:03:18.100 They sell them for a fortune. 1.00
00:03:20.080 They sell them to the stupid people that buy them. 1.00
00:03:23.120 But they don't use them themselves. 1.00
00:03:25.480 They put up a couple of big wind farms, but they don't use them.
00:03:30.360 They just put them up to show people what they could look like.
00:03:33.500 They don't spin.
00:03:34.200 They don't do anything.
00:03:34.980 They use the thing called coal, mostly.
00:03:39.020 But China goes with the coal.
00:03:41.620 They go with oil and gas.
00:03:44.440 They're starting to look at nuclear windmills all over the year.
00:03:47.800 Can you pause it right there?
00:03:48.460 James, where are you at with this?
00:03:50.280 Well, I think he's right.
00:03:51.480 I mean, it's rather fitting that China will sell all the windmill equipment and sell all
00:03:54.900 the windmill devices, but won't use windmills themselves.
00:03:58.060 Because the Chinese are smart.
00:03:59.200 Let's just be honest.
00:04:00.160 The Chinese are smart.
00:04:01.020 We actually have quite a bit we can learn from them in the space of energy and infrastructure.
00:04:05.760 We should have rail.
00:04:07.120 We should allow Brightline to build all the way through Tampa, perhaps even more from there.
00:04:12.080 We can learn that we need to modernize our electric grid and our infrastructure.
00:04:17.120 I think the president's right to call out the hypocrisy of China, of China selling all 1.00
00:04:21.780 the windmills, but not believing in them to actually build them in their own country.
00:04:26.300 The future is nuclear all the way.
00:04:28.360 Yeah, I agree with what Howard was saying, and it was very interesting, and I saw two
00:04:35.280 news reports on this, so I believe it to be true.
00:04:38.340 Christine Lagarde, who's head of the ECB, European Central Bank, she got up and left while
00:04:44.660 Howard was going off on people.
00:04:47.380 She literally huffed and got up and left. 1.00
00:04:52.040 You know, and we, Christine Lagarde, she's head of the European Central Bank, and she's
00:04:57.860 the evil twin of Ursula von der Leyen, who's the head of all economics for the EU.
00:05:03.100 Those two women wreak more havoc in the sovereignty of European countries because they've given them 1.00
00:05:11.040 control, ECB, European Central Bank, and Ursula von der Leyen, the head of business for EU.
00:05:16.940 And so she is one of the two evil twins, as I call them, and while Howard was going on, she
00:05:23.100 gets up and leaves.
00:05:25.280 I love it.
00:05:26.360 And this is the woman that controls the entire money supply, the monetary policy for the European 0.96
00:05:31.240 Monetary Union, right?
00:05:32.880 Correct.
00:05:33.360 She controls every single economy in Europe. 0.98
00:05:36.600 She's French, but she controls the economy of Spain, of Portugal, of Germany. 1.00
00:05:41.000 This is the fear, Patrick, is if we give too much power to centralized government, we will
00:05:46.560 become Europe.
00:05:47.260 And look at what Europe has become.
00:05:48.360 It's become a shell of its former self.
00:05:50.740 Millions of migrants, no sovereignty, no borders, no control over their own money supply, over 1.00
00:05:56.820 their own currency.
00:05:57.680 We cannot let that happen here, and President Trump will not let that happen here.
00:06:01.240 When she walks out, you know what I think, Pat?
00:06:03.600 Well, I guess Howard's right.
00:06:05.720 That's right.
00:06:06.840 Validating.
00:06:07.540 The right people are upset.
00:06:08.900 Yeah, when the right people walk out that you were trying to upset, by the way, a bunch
00:06:16.180 of reporters were following her, asking her questions about different things that she
00:06:20.740 did, same guys every year, that she was asked about $400 million, 400 million pounds of taxpayer
00:06:29.180 money, squandering, negligence, anyways, a bunch of different things.
00:06:32.760 We'll see.
00:06:33.180 We'll see what will happen with this.
00:06:34.400 But I like Howard Lutnick's boldness right there in front of them.
00:06:38.240 And obviously, Trump, the only way he knows how to go about his business is the way he's
00:06:42.160 been doing it for many years.
00:06:43.340 And he opened it up by saying, look what we've done.
00:06:45.860 We've won here.
00:06:46.540 We've won here.
00:06:47.180 We've won here.
00:06:48.260 Call that Europe.
00:06:49.120 I don't like the fact that you're losing.
00:06:50.820 You're not looking good.
00:06:51.700 You're not recognizable.
00:06:53.560 Go ahead, Rob.
00:06:55.160 Places in Europe are not even recognizable, frankly, anymore.
00:06:59.220 They're not recognizable.
00:07:00.260 And we can argue about it, but there's no argument.
00:07:04.940 Friends come back from different places.
00:07:06.860 I don't want to insult anybody and say, I don't recognize it.
00:07:11.540 And that's not in a positive way.
00:07:13.580 That's in a very negative way.
00:07:15.340 And I love Europe.
00:07:16.600 And I want to see Europe go good.
00:07:19.180 But it's not heading in the right direction.
00:07:21.380 In recent, certain places in Europe are not even recognizable, frankly, anymore.
00:07:25.800 You can pause it right there.
00:07:26.560 It's just a repeat.
00:07:27.800 Yeah.
00:07:28.120 So, again, by the way, on the way there, apparently their flight had issues.
00:07:33.500 Air Force One had to turn around, come back in.
00:07:36.200 They had electric issues.
00:07:37.340 The lights were turning off.
00:07:38.920 Caroline Levitt joked, saying, maybe we need to take that Qatar 747 that they offered us.
00:07:44.260 Anyways, but they were good.
00:07:45.780 They made it out there.
00:07:46.580 When we set out to create a shoe that blends comfort, function, and luxury, we had the choice
00:07:53.780 to make it fast.
00:07:55.040 We had the choice to make it cheap.
00:07:57.180 We chose neither.
00:07:58.780 Instead, we chose Tuscaneiro.
00:08:01.120 We chose true Italian craftsmanship.
00:08:03.740 Each pair touched by 50 skilled hands.
00:08:06.580 We chose patience, spending two years perfecting every detail.
00:08:10.060 And we chose the finest quality at every step.
00:08:13.360 Introducing the Future Looks Bright collection.
00:08:17.700 Not rushed.
00:08:19.100 Not disposable.
00:08:20.580 Not ordinary.
00:08:21.960 Rather intentional.
00:08:24.680 Luxurious.
00:08:25.960 Timeless.
