00:01:10.060 All the stuff that's going on in Israel and so many questions coming up.
00:01:13.560 It was like, hey, how did Israel, some say the greatest air force in the world,
00:01:17.600 how did you not know this was taking place?
00:01:19.420 Don't you have the best intelligence in the world, Mossad?
00:01:22.800 You mean to tell me for one year, Hamas built a city identical to the one that you have to prepare and train on how to attack,
00:01:30.500 but you didn't know that this was taking place?
00:01:32.600 And why is Iran involved in this right after U.S. unfreezes $6 billion,
00:01:37.960 and then Iran's going out there chanting,
00:01:40.140 Magbat, Omriqah, Magbat, Omriqah.
00:01:41.980 And then history-wise, who owned this land before?
00:01:45.800 What happened pre-1948?
00:01:47.740 Did Palestine own the land?
00:01:49.200 And who owned it before Palestine owned the land?
00:01:51.520 And are all Palestinians supporting of Hamas?
00:01:54.720 Does Fatah support Hamas?
00:01:57.060 Again, so many questions.
00:01:59.400 We went out there and did research, sources, everybody on what's going on.
00:02:05.100 Our team put a lot of time behind us.
00:02:06.900 And we're going to talk a lot about this here today, and I can make you one guarantee.
00:02:11.500 No matter what side you're on, there's going to be some parts you're going to disagree with.
00:02:15.260 There's going to be some parts you're going to agree with.
00:02:16.920 Here's what you know about me.
00:02:18.360 You need to know about me.
00:02:19.540 I'm an American, a proud American.
00:02:22.040 I am a Christian, and I was born and raised in Iran, and I lived there for 10 years.
00:02:28.000 So when I hear Mad Bad America, and when I hear all these different things that's going on,
00:02:33.160 I'm not one that just watches the videos out there.
00:02:36.200 I've lived some of these experiences, so I'm not leaning on propaganda.
00:02:40.460 I'm sharing with you what my life experiences have been.
00:02:43.700 Having said that, let's get right into it.
00:02:53.080 Okay, so if you give value out of this video, give it a thumbs up, subscribe to the channel, and let's get into it.
00:02:56.580 If you look at this chart right here, this shows you what's happened to the land in Israel, Palestine, over the years.
00:03:04.160 So if you look at 1917, this entire land, before the British mandate in Palestine, Jews made up around 6% of the total population.
00:03:13.280 Then you go to 1948, war ends, Israel gets their land, 750,000 Palestinians are expelled,
00:03:20.960 Zionist military forces these guys to go to different places,
00:03:24.000 captured 78% of historic Palestine.
00:03:27.240 Then you go to 1967, Israel occupies Gaza and the West Bank.
00:03:31.760 Then you go to 95, the Oslo Accords, which the occupied West Bank was divided into three different areas.
00:03:37.860 Area A, Palestinian control.
00:03:39.960 Area B, joint Israeli and Palestine.
00:03:42.560 And Area C, Israeli control.
00:03:44.460 And under Trump, this plan would allow Israel to annex huge parts of the occupied West Bank,
00:03:49.080 and give Palestinians control of only 15% of historic Palestine.
00:03:53.500 Okay, so now we take a look at the next one here.
00:03:55.340 Here's mapping Israelis' occupation.
00:03:57.460 So if you look at this, Israel all the way at the top, you see 5.8 million people, 1.6 million Palestinian citizens living together.
00:04:05.040 You look to the right, you'll see Jerusalem.
00:04:07.620 Again, 349, 4,500 Palestinians.
00:04:10.520 East Jerusalem, 220, 345,000 Palestinians.
00:04:13.460 Then on the south, you'll see it says West Bank.
00:04:15.740 It says west because it's west of Jordan River, so they call it a West Bank.
00:04:19.120 You'll see 463,000 Israelis, 2.7 million Palestinians.
00:04:22.620 But go all the way east, you'll see Gaza, 2.1 million Palestinians.
00:04:26.620 You'll see zero Israelis.
00:04:28.420 Okay?
00:04:28.960 So the one question that comes up is, do all Palestinians support what's going on with Hamas and what they're doing right now?
00:04:34.240 Like, there's no way in the world everybody can support what some of these guys from Hamas are doing with families, the rape, these stories you hear about.
00:04:40.860 58% of the Palestinian population in Gaza Strip do support what Hamas is doing, but only 42% of those from West Bank support what Hamas is doing.
00:04:54.300 So less at West Bank, obviously higher at Gaza Strip.
00:04:58.600 So a few things to know about Hamas.
00:04:59.780 Hamas is a Palestine political faction that controls the Gaza Strip, which, by the way, if you want to know how big it is, it's twice the size of D.C.
00:05:06.500 It's roughly 141, 142 square miles, which has been under Israeli blockade backed by Egypt since Hamas seized control of the coastal strip in 2007.
00:05:17.260 The blockade restricts the imports of goods, including electronic and computer equipment, that could be used to make weapons and prevents most people from leaving the territory, according to New York Times.
00:05:27.060 So at this point, we know that more than 2 million Palestinians live in Gaza Strip today, but the key factor is the following here.
00:05:33.060 The tiny, crowded coastal city has nearly a 50% unemployment rate, and Gaza's living conditions, health systems, and infrastructure have all deteriorated under the blockade.
00:05:42.960 Why? Because people are afraid of doing business with them.
00:05:46.760 They feel like there's risk to do business with them.
00:05:48.840 So the policies, the way they're running it, we'll even talk about the Hamas charter here in a minute, when you see what they had before 1988, versus when they recently updated in 2017.
00:05:59.840 People don't trust Hamas, because most people look at Hamas and they think ISIS.
00:06:04.540 There isn't a trust for Hamas and the way they've been doing things, even though they're trying to change.
00:06:09.720 But by the way, they just hurt themselves this week, when they say, we're no longer who we used to be, we're changing, we're this, we're that, and then boom, 900 Israelis, more than 900 Israelis you kill, and you think you're gaining credibility.
00:06:21.620 That unemployment is about to go to the roof, even worse than what it is right now.
00:06:25.280 So Israel says the blockade is necessary to stop the flow of arms into the territory, but Palestinians and aid groups say it is collective punishment and exacerbates dire economic and social conditions.
00:06:34.720 So when you look at countries that recognize Palestine in 2023, it's 138 out of 193 UN members that do, that's roughly 71%.
00:06:46.120 So 55 countries do not recognize Palestine in 2023, but if you look at Israel, Israel at the same time, it's 165 out of 193 countries, and 28 countries don't recognize Israel.
00:06:59.780 So now what happened? Hamas, the Palestinian military group that controls the Gaza Strip, launched a surprise attack on Israel.
00:07:05.480 The attack was the largest in decades and caught the Israeli government, military, and intelligence agencies by surprise.
00:07:11.680 Israel immediately responded with airstrikes on Gaza, targeting centers at House Hamas militants.
00:07:16.520 Israel also mobilized its military reservists and deployed troops to the Gaza border.
00:07:21.020 And the number we keep hearing about is 300,000 reservists that they activated.
00:07:25.600 So then Israel has pounded the Gaza Strip for third day in a row now and announced a total blockade of the already besieged Gaza Strip, including a ban on food and water.
00:07:35.240 And the Israeli army just said that out of the 300,000 reservists they activated, 100,000 of the reserve troops have amassed near defense with Gaza.
00:07:43.440 So if you look at this here, they've been under the blockade, the Israeli air, land, and sea blockade.
00:07:48.340 Now, obviously, that's a partial blockade.
00:07:50.240 They've had since 2007, and it's just full on now.
00:07:52.940 So if you look at that red surrounding, that's how Gaza is surrounded by a heavily fortified perimeter.
00:07:58.620 And now you've got 100,000 soldiers that are lined up right there by the Gaza Strip.
00:08:03.520 So you can only imagine how Palestinians are feeling in this area, saying, wait a minute, we can't get food and water now.
00:08:10.220 How long can we go like this?
00:08:11.820 This is obviously a major concern for the people who live there.
00:08:14.760 Now, at the same time, Israel has always been known for having the most incredible intelligence, Mossad.
00:08:19.760 They've always, you know, in many different lists, they're recognized as possibly best.
00:08:24.080 They were even trained by the CIA many years ago.
00:08:26.180 However, there are many questions about the Israel government, military intelligence agencies.
00:08:30.100 How were they taken by surprise by such an assault, which is without recent precedent in its complexity and skill?
00:08:36.700 How?
00:08:37.200 How does Mossad get caught this bad by Hamas?
00:08:42.460 It's a very confusing thing that a lot of people are asking.
00:08:45.040 So the initiation of rocket attacks, striking distant targets like Tel Aviv and Jerusalem, the role of Israel's Iron Dome missile defense system.
00:08:53.960 And by the way, if you've seen the videos of the Iron Dome, how it prevents a lot of the, you know, attacks to coming through.
00:08:59.860 They built this roughly around 2006 when the Hezbollahs from Lebanon were attacking.
00:09:06.360 They said, we've got to put an Iron Dome.
00:09:07.520 They did.
00:09:08.340 Believe it or not, the investment was only a $210 million investment.
00:09:11.840 And it's been able to protect the city.
00:09:13.640 So the Iron Dome, how does it work?
00:09:15.620 The technology determines if rockets are headed towards a populated area.
00:09:19.360 And if they are, the Iron Dome is used to fire Tamir interceptors at the incoming projectiles.
00:09:25.580 Rockets that don't pose a threat are allowed to fall into empty areas.
00:09:29.760 So Hamas militants infiltration into Israel, crossing by land, sea, and air, including the use of bulldozers, hang gliders, boats, and motorbikes.
00:09:39.400 Again, this is first pitch battles on Israeli soil in decades.
00:09:44.180 So the militants infiltrated 22 Israeli towns and army bases and took civilians and soldier hostages, many of whom they brought back to Gaza.
00:09:52.480 But again, the question is, how?
00:09:55.340 How did the Mossad, the CIA of Israel, that's considered one of the top agencies in the world, how did they allow this to happen?
00:10:02.640 How did they not know?
00:10:03.820 Now, this is the part that gets a little bit tricky.
00:10:05.920 Israel and Egypt have had a very good working relationship together, their borders, their neighbors, for 40 years.
00:10:12.560 However, an Egyptian intelligence official said the Israeli government was warned about something big before the Hamas attacks.
00:10:20.680 This is what the official from AP said.
00:10:22.320 We have warned them an explosion of the situation is coming, and very soon.
00:10:26.540 Meanwhile, the office of Israeli prime minister, Benjamin Netanyahu, called this claim absolutely false.
00:10:31.800 Again, this is a New York Post and a Business Insider story.
00:10:35.700 So now, the casualty reports, obviously one is too many, but this number is, this is the biggest since 50 years ago, is what happened in Israel.
00:10:42.980 The number of people killed at Gaza, at least 830, injured 4,250, occupied West Bank, killed at least 19, injured at least 110,
00:10:50.140 and in Israel, more than 900 killed, injured 2,600, and 14 Americans, American citizens, have been killed.
00:10:58.320 So on Hamas' side, they're trying to give their reasoning why they chose to attack.
00:11:02.620 This is their reason, and here's what the leader said.
00:11:04.880 The leader of Hamas military wing, Mohammed Daev, said the assault was in response to the 16-year blockade of Gaza,
00:11:11.920 Israeli raids inside West Bank cities over the pasture violence at Al-Aqsa,
00:11:16.220 the disputed Jerusalem holy site, sacred to Jews as a temple mount,
00:11:20.100 increasing attacks by settlers on Palestinians and the growth of settlements.
00:11:24.920 And to be more specific, the motivating factors for the attacks,
00:11:27.800 number one, Israel's occupation of the West Bank, number two,
00:11:30.720 recent Israeli police raid on the Aqsa Mosque in Jerusalem,
00:11:34.800 number three, detention of thousands of Palestinians in Israeli jails,
00:11:38.520 and number four, the contentious status of the Aqsa Mosque compound.
00:11:42.820 When this happens, Benjamin Netanyahu, prime minister, comes out and says that Israel is at war
00:11:48.460 after Hamas launched a devastating surprise attack on the country
00:11:51.260 and vowed to exact an unprecedented price from the terror group,
00:11:55.160 and many of these Israeli military reservists mobilized,
00:11:57.640 and there is now speculation about a potential ground invasion of Gaza,
00:12:01.180 since tank units have been sent to the south.
00:12:04.840 Here are some places that Israel airstrikes targeted.
00:12:08.340 One, Israel's military said it had destroyed centers that housed Hamas militants.
00:12:12.240 Two, Palestinian officials said that a hospital had been hit,
00:12:15.400 along with multi-story buildings, homes, and mosques.
00:12:18.720 Three, Gaza Health Ministry in Gaza said that at least 400-plus Palestinians had been killed,
00:12:23.820 most inside Israel and the rest in the enclave.
00:12:26.640 So the one chart that's being shared all over the place on social media is this one here,
00:12:31.320 the historical context of the Israeli-Palestine conflict.
00:12:33.760 The red represents how many Palestinians have been killed in conflict-related deaths,
00:12:38.240 and then the purple is Israel.
00:12:39.480 Obviously, if you go back to 2008, look at the red versus purple,
00:12:42.500 then 2009, and it continues to go to 2014,
00:12:45.720 where this was a 50-day war in 2014 sparked by the kidnapping of three Israeli teenagers,
00:12:50.220 ended in the deaths of 73 Israelis,
00:12:53.140 and more than 2,000 Palestinians,
00:12:55.060 most of them civilians, for Israel seeking vengeance.
00:12:58.640 And then today, more people in Israel have died in this conflict than in any year in decades,
00:13:04.160 and these numbers are just starting to grow.
00:13:09.480 Potentially, within a week, if this thing continues,
00:13:12.420 both the purple and the red could cross what the numbers were in 2014,
00:13:16.500 meaning what this really shows, there is no peace,
00:13:20.000 they're having a hard time coexisting,
00:13:21.920 and it doesn't show things are getting better.
00:13:24.800 It actually shows things are getting worse, based on this chart.
00:13:28.440 So the uniqueness of this attack,
00:13:29.880 here's what an article in New York Times says.
00:13:31.580 It says, the issue came after months of profound anxiety
00:13:34.660 about the cohesion of Israeli society
00:13:36.320 and the readiness of its military,
00:13:37.840 a crisis prompted by the far-right,
00:13:40.080 keyword, far-right New York Times says,
00:13:41.940 far-right government's effort to reduce the judiciary's power.
00:13:45.780 And the New York Times article continues,
00:13:47.540 the attacks also came on the holiday of the Simchat Torah,
00:13:50.040 and nearly 50 years to the day,
00:13:52.100 since the Israeli authorities were caught off guard
00:13:54.620 when invading forces from Egypt and Syria
00:13:57.060 set off the start of the Yom Kippur War.
00:13:59.600 The part that got interesting is when all of a sudden
00:14:02.260 Wall Street Journal wrote an article
00:14:03.840 talking about how Iran was involved
00:14:06.340 with plotting the attack on Israel.
00:14:08.400 And if you look at this article here,
00:14:09.740 Iran has long been a supporter of Hamas and Hezbollah,
00:14:12.200 two Palestinian-Lebanese militant groups
00:14:13.760 that are designated as terrorist organization
00:14:15.920 by the United States and Israel.
00:14:17.340 Think about Hezbollah and Hamas, just think ISIS.
00:14:20.340 Okay, if you know ISIS, Hezbollah, Hamas, similar mindsets.
00:14:24.420 Iran has been setting aside other regional conflicts,
00:14:26.520 such as its open feud with Saudi Arabia and Yemen,
00:14:29.220 to focus on coordinating financing
00:14:30.980 and arming militias antagonistic to Israel.
00:14:34.160 Now, here's where it gets a little bit interesting.
00:14:36.000 You know the $6 billion that U.S. unfreeze
00:14:40.420 to give to Iran in exchange to a political prisoner?
00:14:44.920 Do you know when that news was reported to the rest of us?
00:14:49.200 It was on 9-11, which is kind of weird, right?
00:14:51.840 It's roughly a month ago when this happens.
00:14:53.900 Then, former Speaker Kevin McCarthy is calling on President Biden
00:14:57.340 to refreeze the $6 billion in Iranian funds
00:15:00.140 in the wake of the recent attacks on Israel by Hamas.
00:15:02.840 We're thinking, yeah, let's work with these guys
00:15:05.140 and let's give them the $6 billion
00:15:06.140 and give us some political prisoners.
00:15:07.980 Everything's going to be great.
00:15:08.900 Then you see them in the parliament, you know, in Iran.
00:15:11.400 Magbar Omriqal.
00:15:13.580 Death upon America.
00:15:15.300 After we just gave you the $6 billion,
00:15:19.660 kind of weird, the timing of this whole thing.
00:15:21.720 But let's continue here.
00:15:23.400 In a lengthy address, laying out a five-step plan
00:15:25.760 to address the escalating conflict in Israel,
00:15:27.880 McCarthy took aim at Biden administration
00:15:29.720 for its prisoner swap with Iran
00:15:31.460 and his decision to unfree $6 billion
00:15:33.320 in frozen Iranian funds
00:15:34.480 in exchange for freedom of five wrongfully detained
00:15:37.380 American citizens.
00:15:39.200 $6 billion for five unwrongfully arrests on U.S. citizens.
00:15:45.820 So here's what a lot of people are saying.
00:15:47.740 The $6 billion has become a rallying cry.
00:15:49.600 Again, this is the hill for critics of the Biden administration
00:15:52.540 in the wake of attack on Israel.
00:15:54.200 Many Republicans say that the move freed up resources
00:15:56.800 for Iran's military spending and support of terrorism.
00:16:00.520 Then next thing you know,
00:16:01.580 Secretary Anthony Blinken came out,
00:16:03.380 pushing back, saying no.
00:16:04.620 You know, all the Iranian criticism,
00:16:06.120 he emphasized that not a single dollar
00:16:07.600 has been spent from the funds
00:16:08.800 that have been unfrozen for the prisoner swap.
00:16:10.940 Blinken reiterated that the funds were to be used
00:16:13.320 only for food, medicine, and other humanitarian goods.
00:16:16.240 Now, obviously, a lot of people don't believe this.
00:16:18.600 And here's where the news comes from WSJ,
00:16:21.280 Wall Street Journal.
00:16:22.180 Iranian security officials helped Hamas plan the attack
00:16:24.720 on Israel and gave the green light for the assault
00:16:27.780 at a meeting in Beirut just last Monday.
00:16:31.060 Even officers of Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps,
00:16:33.740 IRGC, have worked with Hamas since August
00:16:36.580 to devise the air, land, and sea incursions.
00:16:40.360 So, what do you think Iran does?
00:16:41.780 You think Iran comes out and says they were part of it?
00:16:43.740 You think they're denying it?
00:16:44.660 Well, the article continues and says
00:16:46.040 Iran has denied any involvement in the attack,
00:16:48.220 but there's a growing consensus amongst experts
00:16:50.660 that Iran played a significant role
00:16:53.040 in planning and executing the attack.
00:16:55.820 And evidence of Iran's involvement
00:16:57.100 includes the meeting in Beirut,
00:16:58.500 the fact that the attack was coordinated
00:16:59.920 with other Iran-backed militant groups,
00:17:01.940 and the use of sophisticated weapons
00:17:03.660 and tactics that are beyond Hamas's capabilities.
00:17:06.980 So, Iran's backing of a coordinated group
00:17:08.520 of Arab militias is ominous for Israel.
00:17:10.560 And on top of that, in the past,
00:17:12.680 in previous conflicts, the Soviet Union
00:17:14.400 was the ultimate patron of Israel's Arab enemies
00:17:18.060 and was always able to pressure them
00:17:20.000 to reach some type of accommodation
00:17:21.800 or recognize a red line.
00:17:24.020 So, obviously, this is a little bit concerning
00:17:25.960 because down the street from here,
00:17:27.320 literally half a mile away from here,
00:17:28.760 there was protesting, literally in the middle of a street.
00:17:31.380 Okay, hundreds of people out here protesting
00:17:32.720 across the country.
00:17:33.680 Some people are worried,
00:17:34.420 is this going to impact people in America?
00:17:35.840 Is it safe?
00:17:36.320 Is this the time to kind of not feel that safe
00:17:39.200 going out with your family and your kids?
00:17:40.900 Are they going to calm this thing down?
00:17:42.800 It doesn't look like it is.
00:17:43.860 One side is saying,
00:17:44.880 if you keep bombing us,
00:17:46.800 this is what Hamas is saying,
00:17:48.480 we're going to have to kill each hostage
00:17:50.700 and we're going to show it on the internet
00:17:53.240 so people can see that.
00:17:54.180 Just think about a statement like that being made.
00:17:56.620 And Israel's saying,
00:17:57.400 look, we're not negotiating with terrorists.
00:17:59.540 And on the Israel side, there's two sides.
00:18:01.700 One side's saying, look, the left,
00:18:02.800 the liberals are saying,
00:18:03.500 hey, find a way to negotiate.
00:18:04.840 The other side's like,
00:18:05.580 we're not going to negotiate.
00:18:06.320 These guys are saying,
00:18:07.360 they're going to kill your kids.
00:18:08.560 And you want us to sit there and negotiate?
00:18:09.840 You believe these guys?
00:18:10.660 You believe it?
00:18:11.380 Whether we say anything or not,
00:18:12.460 they're not going to do it.
00:18:13.120 Now, again, whichever side you lean on,
00:18:15.620 that's what's being done today.
00:18:17.020 So how is America and Saudi
00:18:18.460 and others looking at this?
00:18:20.260 And do people trust that actually
00:18:22.740 peace will be able to become a reality?
00:18:26.860 We don't know yet.
00:18:27.620 But here's what happened.
00:18:28.520 There's been international reactions,
00:18:30.020 including President Biden's support for Israel.
00:18:32.080 Arab nations, including Saudi Arabia,
00:18:33.780 are calling for de-escalation,
00:18:35.240 but avoid blaming Hamas.
00:18:38.340 They're still being supportive of Hamas.
00:18:40.520 They're not blaming Hamas.
00:18:41.900 They're just saying,
00:18:42.540 we want this thing to be done.
00:18:44.140 And we are making a lot of progress with Israel.
00:18:46.680 But we just want to make sure
00:18:48.360 everything's going to be good with everybody.
00:18:50.500 So this is kind of tricky
00:18:51.740 because, you know,
00:18:52.680 Biden just recently,
00:18:55.120 his top aides were trying to push Saudi Arabia
00:18:57.200 to normalize diplomatic relations with Israel.
00:18:59.400 Yet Saudi Arabia has never recognized a Jewish state
00:19:02.340 out of solidarity with Palestinians,
00:19:04.680 but had seemed ready to change its policy.
00:19:07.100 You think this event's going to help Saudi
00:19:09.500 be even more comfortable to want to do it now?
00:19:12.540 Or you think they're going to say,
00:19:13.420 whoa, whoa, whoa,
00:19:14.320 we've got to back off this one here.
00:19:16.460 This is not a good look with us and Hamas
00:19:18.360 and our relationships there.
00:19:20.060 So the question,
00:19:20.680 can it get worse?
00:19:21.380 Well,
00:19:21.740 the risk of a wider regional conflict involving Hezbollah,
00:19:24.380 this is New York Times article,
00:19:25.420 the Lebanese Shiite militant organization
00:19:28.040 that fought a war with Israel in 2006.
00:19:30.100 This is Hezbollah coming from Lebanon.
00:19:32.560 This will be on the northern side.
00:19:34.140 In a statement,
00:19:34.840 Hezbollah said it was closely following
00:19:36.760 the important developments
00:19:37.960 in the Palestinian situation
00:19:39.560 with great interest.
00:19:41.740 What that means,
00:19:42.680 no one knows.
00:19:43.400 They're speaking sign language.
00:19:44.800 So now United Nations
00:19:45.720 that is trying to play a role of a peace,
00:19:48.300 you know,
00:19:48.560 let's de-escalate,
00:19:49.460 let's not,
00:19:49.840 this is their assessment
00:19:50.600 of what their thinking is going on.
00:19:51.940 United Nations Peacekeeping Forces
00:19:53.440 in southern Lebanon
00:19:54.300 said that the situation
00:19:55.460 on the Lebanese-Israeli border
00:19:56.680 was volatile but stable
00:19:58.500 after Hezbollah and Israeli exchange
00:20:00.340 artillery and rocket fire
00:20:02.300 earlier in the day.
00:20:04.180 Volatile but stable?
00:20:05.760 Really?
00:20:06.560 I mean,
00:20:07.000 you either believe the UN
00:20:07.880 or you don't,
00:20:08.400 but here's the reality of it.
00:20:10.140 If you look at the charter,
00:20:12.480 Hamas charter,
00:20:13.840 that they had in 1988,
00:20:15.220 they just updated it in 2017
00:20:16.820 and kind of cleaned it up
00:20:17.840 six years ago.
00:20:19.080 But the one thing
00:20:20.060 everybody talks about
00:20:21.180 is what is your core beliefs?
00:20:23.020 What do you really believe in?
00:20:24.900 You can read the entire chart,
00:20:26.580 it's not hard to find on the internet,
00:20:28.380 but there's a couple things in there
00:20:29.800 that's important for you to look at
00:20:31.780 and here's what it is.
00:20:32.680 Pretty much the premise of the document,
00:20:34.860 that's 36 article,
00:20:36.040 can be summarized
00:20:37.540 as falling within the four main themes.
00:20:39.720 Number one,
00:20:40.280 the complete destruction of Israel.
00:20:42.960 This is again,
00:20:43.980 Hamas.
00:20:44.720 The complete destruction of Israel
00:20:47.020 as an essential condition
00:20:48.680 for the liberation of Palestine
00:20:50.680 and the establishment
00:20:51.900 of a theocratic state
00:20:54.180 based on Islamic law,
00:20:56.620 Sharia law.
00:20:57.340 This is in their charter,
00:20:59.320 1988.
00:21:00.240 Not too long ago,
00:21:01.500 just roughly 35 years ago,
00:21:03.100 is what they said.
00:21:03.920 Number two,
00:21:04.440 the need for both unrestrained
00:21:06.660 and unceasing holy war,
00:21:09.100 jihad,
00:21:09.780 to attain the above objective.
00:21:11.240 Again,
00:21:11.680 to annihilate Israel,
00:21:13.400 pretty much off the face of the planet.
00:21:14.780 Number three,
00:21:15.240 the deliberate disdain
00:21:17.020 for and dismissal
00:21:18.960 of any negotiated resolution
00:21:21.600 for political settlements
00:21:22.920 of Jewish and Muslim claims
00:21:24.900 to the Holy Land.
00:21:26.280 And number four,
00:21:27.240 the reinforcement
00:21:28.000 of historical anti-Semitic tropes
00:21:30.160 and calumnies
00:21:31.720 married to sinister conspiracy theories.
00:21:34.460 So now here's what's interesting.
00:21:35.560 That article I just read to you
00:21:36.720 was from The Atlantic
00:21:37.620 and the title of The Atlantic says,
00:21:40.020 when Hamas tells you
00:21:41.240 who they are,
00:21:42.640 believe them.
00:21:43.380 So,
00:21:43.700 some people may say,
00:21:45.720 wait a minute,
00:21:46.640 does Israel sit there
00:21:47.800 and say,
00:21:48.440 let's eliminate Palestine,
00:21:50.520 Palestinians,
00:21:51.400 and Hamas
00:21:51.840 off the face of the earth?
00:21:53.480 You've never heard Israel say that.
00:21:55.400 By the way,
00:21:56.500 Israel could if they wanted to.
00:21:57.880 They have won
00:21:58.160 the strongest militaries.
00:21:59.500 They're not doing that.
00:22:00.540 Why are they not doing that?
00:22:01.720 Maybe that's not,
00:22:02.640 you know,
00:22:03.160 part of what they want to do.
00:22:04.760 But for Hamas,
00:22:05.420 they're not even,
00:22:06.120 you know,
00:22:06.840 sitting there trying to hide it.
00:22:08.560 Here's who we are.
00:22:09.720 Here's what we want to do.
00:22:11.220 Here's what we're going after.
00:22:12.420 Having said that,
00:22:13.700 there's also a group of people
00:22:15.420 that are saying,
00:22:16.320 maybe Israel
00:22:17.560 allowed for a part of this
00:22:19.360 to happen
00:22:19.900 so the world
00:22:21.360 would back them up
00:22:23.020 to go destroy
00:22:24.620 and annihilate
00:22:25.840 Hamas,
00:22:28.040 all of the,
00:22:28.820 you know,
00:22:29.240 Gaza Strip,
00:22:30.240 all of that,
00:22:31.220 because now
00:22:32.120 people like Nikki Haley
00:22:33.400 are saying,
00:22:33.960 go get them.
00:22:35.000 Go do this.
00:22:35.960 The rhinos
00:22:36.920 or the establishment
00:22:38.040 and Lindsey Graham
00:22:39.080 and,
00:22:39.480 you know,
00:22:40.160 all these guys.
00:22:40.720 Yeah,
00:22:41.140 Iran's getting involved.
00:22:42.800 Let's go after Iran.
00:22:45.160 There's a lot of Iranians
00:22:46.240 that are saying,
00:22:47.260 you know,
00:22:47.580 the civilians are saying,
00:22:48.720 no, no, no,
00:22:49.120 we don't have a problem.
00:22:50.260 This is not us.
00:22:51.060 This is our government
00:22:51.940 that's doing this.
00:22:52.740 Anyways,
00:22:53.300 the tipping point
00:22:54.660 of how ugly
00:22:55.480 this thing could get,
00:22:57.020 it could get very,
00:22:57.980 very ugly
00:22:58.520 in many ways.
00:23:01.180 So,
00:23:01.980 when you take a deeper dive
00:23:03.580 and you see what the history
00:23:04.480 of it is,
00:23:05.380 now you kind of have an idea
00:23:06.560 of what the event's
00:23:07.080 been taking place
00:23:07.840 and a bit of the history.
00:23:09.260 Obviously,
00:23:09.580 we can go into this for hours,
00:23:11.000 but this gives you a bit of an idea
00:23:12.440 on what's going on there.
00:23:13.740 Tragic,
00:23:14.460 heartbreaking.
00:23:15.480 As a kid,
00:23:16.100 I lived there.
00:23:16.660 I posted a picture
00:23:17.380 the other day online
00:23:18.700 of my sister and I
00:23:19.920 when I was six years old,
00:23:20.900 seven years old,
00:23:21.620 and my sister texts this to me
00:23:23.100 and she says,
00:23:23.820 do you look at this picture?
00:23:24.740 Do you see what I see?
00:23:25.380 I'm like,
00:23:25.700 no,
00:23:25.880 I don't.
00:23:26.520 She says,
00:23:26.900 look at the windows.
00:23:27.620 I'm like,
00:23:27.980 wow.
00:23:28.340 I always tell the story
00:23:29.580 of how my dad used to tape
00:23:31.040 the windows in Iran
00:23:32.080 so when we would get bombed,
00:23:34.100 the glass wouldn't shatter
00:23:35.220 all over us,
00:23:36.440 but finally,
00:23:37.100 we have a picture.
00:23:37.740 My sister texted it to me
00:23:38.840 yesterday to show it
00:23:40.260 that highlights
00:23:41.780 what it was like
00:23:43.000 as a kid living in Iran
00:23:44.060 when the war was going on
00:23:44.960 between Iran and Iraq
00:23:45.940 and we were driving
00:23:47.100 the freeways.
00:23:47.660 You're like,
00:23:47.860 that's the house I used to play.
00:23:48.920 That's the park I used to play.
00:23:50.700 Explosion.
00:23:51.520 Everywhere.
00:23:52.520 It's extremely scary.
00:23:53.900 I don't prey it on anybody,
00:23:55.300 including my enemy,
00:23:56.680 but,
00:23:56.940 you know,
00:23:58.620 very weird.
00:24:00.260 First,
00:24:00.580 we have Ukraine,
00:24:01.180 Russia.
00:24:01.900 Then we have the way
00:24:02.520 we left Afghanistan.
00:24:03.940 Then we have Hamas
00:24:04.940 using the weapons
00:24:05.540 that we left in Afghanistan
00:24:06.460 to use to go attack Israelis.
00:24:09.120 Very wild.
00:24:10.060 Tragic what's going on.
00:24:11.280 That's the update for now.
00:24:13.180 If you want to go
00:24:14.300 a little bit deeper on this,
00:24:15.200 we had Roseanne Barr.
00:24:16.440 If you know Roseanne Barr,
00:24:17.680 the comedian,
00:24:18.260 she was on the podcast
00:24:18.960 recently,
00:24:20.940 and we got deeper
00:24:22.060 into this topic.
00:24:22.780 She gave her perspective.
00:24:24.020 If you want to watch more
00:24:25.100 on this topic,
00:24:26.640 click here to watch that video.
00:24:27.660 Having said that,
00:24:29.080 take care,
00:24:29.960 everybody.
00:24:30.380 Bye-bye,
00:24:30.640 bye-bye.
