Valuetainment - “Suspension Removed” - Balogun Gets HUGE Win as FIFA Overturns Red Card

00:00:00.000 So you have this whole situation with World Cup.

00:00:03.100 We watch the game.

00:00:04.660 He steps on his leg.

00:00:06.040 We can't show it because it's World Cup.

00:00:07.600 They'll flag it.

00:00:08.280 You can't.

00:00:08.600 All these footage are saved by, I think, Fox.

00:00:11.340 And Balogon puts it, and he gets a red card.

00:00:13.960 They kick him out.

00:00:14.420 This is the guy that scored three goals for the U.S.

00:00:16.140 Everybody's like, you're taking out our best play.

00:00:18.280 The guy didn't do it on purpose.

00:00:19.640 Like, in one of the games, there was a hand where the guy hits the head first.

00:00:22.680 Then it hits his hand.

00:00:23.600 He says, no, no, hit him my head first.

00:00:25.100 They're like, okay, it's not a penalty kick.

00:00:26.620 In this case, they give the guy a red card.

00:00:28.840 So then all of a sudden, rumor comes, word comes out that Trump made the phone call to FIFA's president and says, hey, this is not acceptable.

00:00:36.540 And then suddenly, yesterday, all over the place, the news is, hey, they lifted the red card and Balogun will be available to play today in today's big game against Belgium, which they could beat, by the way.

00:00:50.860 And they're going to need every help they can get.

00:00:53.280 And if they got their main number one score that scored more than anybody else in the game, that's a big help to them.

00:00:58.240 now belgium's not happy a lot of people online are saying wait a minute once you make the call

00:01:01.880 this you got to set a precedent you can never change it again this has never happened in history

00:01:05.880 world cup what do you mean you're going to change it just because somebody's making a phone call

00:01:09.560 this is why they don't trust politics and politicians are getting involved americans

00:01:13.780 may be celebrating those americans that want to see america win their first world cup they're

00:01:17.700 celebrating but other countries are saying isn't this kind of like this is not cool so tom your

00:01:23.120 thoughts on this with the red card well there i have two thoughts and one is i like it when sports

00:01:29.740 gets it right i like the electronic line keeping at wimbledon i like the electronics on strike

00:01:36.460 zones and um baseball baseball and i like replaying football so i like it when they get it right and i

00:01:42.480 like it when they're consistent uh i am not a diehard soccer fan but i get revved up for world

00:01:48.160 cup and i get revved up for uefa and champions cup because that's when like everything matters

00:01:53.960 everything's on the line no one's taking a day off but what what bothers me is is is that you

00:01:59.800 look at all the video and you saw the messy play and the ballagun play were played side by side

00:02:04.760 the red card no red card i like the consistency i'm just not sure i'm down with uh heads of state

00:02:12.140 kind of weighing in a day after the game the sport has to get it right for the sport you're not with

00:02:17.240 it uh i'm you know why you're an american because to be honest with you if it went the other way

00:02:23.040 i would have lost my stuff i know we would have lost it but here's president's tweet i can't

00:02:26.840 ignore that i know i know so here's thank you to fifa for doing what was right and reversing the

00:02:31.900 great a great injustice and by the one of the clips that's going but that's president trump's

00:02:36.280 tweet one of the clips that's going viral if you go a little bit higher you just had it go a little

00:02:39.760 bit higher a little bit higher go back in and go higher it was a clip of the referee shows the red

00:02:44.580 Ricard and Balogun, you have to see this.

00:02:46.320 A little bit higher.

00:02:46.980 Go one more higher right there.

00:02:48.620 Watch this.

00:02:49.140 Can you guys show this?

00:02:50.380 So this shows.

00:02:51.200 Have you seen this?

00:02:52.380 Go back a little bit and turn on the audio.

00:02:54.840 Ever feel the need for more?

00:02:57.140 Find it in the Ford Maverick with a hybrid engine to do more of this.

00:03:02.560 With less of this.

00:03:04.420 And available all-wheel drive to tackle more of this.

00:03:09.060 It's more than a truck.

00:03:10.820 It's a Maverick.

00:03:11.960 Right now, get purchase financing from 3.99% APR for up to 72 months

00:03:16.440 on 2026 Maverick XLT models, plus $1,000 in Ford accessories.

00:03:21.460 Visit your Ontario Ford store or Ford.ca today.

00:03:24.940 Get a red card.

00:03:26.400 Nah, bro, I have the Trump card.

00:03:28.080 I win.

00:03:28.740 What?

00:03:29.100 That's not how it works.

00:03:30.580 You get a red card.

00:03:31.900 That's funny.

00:03:32.500 You can pause it right there.

00:03:33.400 Okay, Vinny, where are you at with this?

00:03:34.360 Well, first, we'll go back to the actual foul itself, Pat.

00:03:37.520 So they immediately, the U.S. soccer team, not Trump, not anybody head of state, they fought the suspension.

00:03:44.120 They argued FIFA misused the VAR by judging the intent instead of the simple review of the contact.

00:03:49.340 Because for everybody that saw it, guys, he's fighting for the ball and comes down on his Achilles, okay?

00:03:55.080 And the player wasn't even injured, thank God.

00:03:57.160 But then U.S. soccer CEO JT Batson and COO Dan Helfrich led the appeal.

00:04:03.860 they assembled a legal strategy and threatened to take the case to court of arbitration for sport

00:04:10.180 okay and then White House attorneys were reportedly prepared to assist if necessary okay then President

00:04:17.100 Trump personally called Gianni Infantino and asked him to review he didn't say change it or else and

00:04:23.600 guys let's just be honest and for everybody that's out there that's watching that's a sports fan

00:04:26.680 that's an American the call was wrong he wasn't trying to hurt anyone it was accidentally unlike

00:04:32.260 last night who was the player um Jarrell Kwanzaa uh he slid into uh Jesus Gallardo and he put his

00:04:39.360 studs up Pat the guy purposely came up and tried to hurt the guy yeah so and England Mexico England

00:04:44.920 Mexico yeah thank you so guys we're hosting hosting the biggest sporting event in the world

00:04:50.060 okay we're this is our best striker okay that was a complete nonsense call fans want to see the best

00:04:56.180 players play I love that he got involved I love that the president's calling that that's what I

00:05:00.880 want from an american president he loves the freaking how many more instances bad does this

00:05:05.720 guy have to do to show you that he's pro america you know he's pro sport remember back in the day 0.75

00:05:10.760 when he wasn't racist when he's around don king and mike tyson and every single athlete you hate

00:05:15.900 the most what what country if they would have played you hate the most usa to play yeah so

00:05:21.200 let's just say pick a country that is any country in the world that's playing against usa what

00:05:27.420 country would you like seriously hate to go up against oh hey oh because of you'd want to beat 0.95

00:05:33.160 them and them to lose who would china okay let's say china so imagine if the world cup is in china 0.83

00:05:38.580 okay and china's playing u.s and one of the china's players top score gets a red card and

00:05:44.640 xi makes a phone call to fifa's president and says hey listen you know what i'm saying that's

00:05:51.120 not a red card and then the fifa president changes it and they say no it's not a red card he's going

00:05:55.960 to play and u.s is playing against china let's just say china all of a sudden using some incredible

00:05:59.960 steroids growth hormone that you can't track and trace and this guy's the greatest soccer player 0.54

00:06:04.060 in the world looks bigger than holland run faster than mbappe he's got better footwork than messy

00:06:08.480 let's just say this happens because they have access to that kind of technology

00:06:11.820 how would you feel if the if that phone call was made and that story comes out what would you say

00:06:16.700 bomb them no so that's the part i understand that's the only part no i love your passion

00:06:25.920 and that is the flip side and that's what i'm saying but everything you said was correct and

00:06:30.520 i like it this soccer team the soccer leadership the soccer people they were proceeding with the

00:06:37.780 appeal oh yeah i'm starting i'm ready for this though yeah tom this is this is the u.s soccer

00:06:43.780 team alone started legal proceeding they're like we're gonna go do it he didn't order fifa to change

00:06:49.200 it he simply said take another look at the bad call and they did by the way pat if everything 0.55

00:06:54.840 is going tom to var and that line what was that game pat was it argentina it was a freaking toe

00:07:01.080 and they reversed it this was not a red card penalty i'm sorry last night was a red card

00:07:07.440 everybody in england knew they had that look like what what do you know about this what are your

00:07:12.120 thoughts well we we know that soccer is taking over the world if it's the first story we cover

00:07:17.500 on the great pbd podcast ladies and gentlemen it's a big deal first time ever game is today

00:07:22.460 they're playing today against the game is today let's go usa so you could say all you want about

00:07:29.080 trump this is the most america first move ever oh what our best player who i guarantee you didn't

00:07:36.140 know he was he's like yeah get him on the phone get infante on the phone because they have a

00:07:40.000 relationship do they not yeah so when he calls up quote-unquote the king of soccer when the king

00:07:44.980 of the world calls up the king of soccer goes uh Gianni we're gonna need a little favor here

00:07:50.020 Gianni has to realize he's gonna upset one of two people he's either gonna accept upset Trump

00:07:56.600 or he's gonna upset basically Belgium Brussels the home of the EU the home of NATO the home of

00:08:03.900 the capital of Europe and Infante congratulations you made the right decision you don't want to

00:08:09.760 upset trump in his home turf so can you run a poll run a poll do you agree with the call or no do

00:08:15.960 you agree with the reversal okay let's and by the way our audience is a worldwide audience i'm

00:08:21.120 actually curious to know what they're gonna say if they agree with the reversal and i i see your

00:08:25.640 point as well adam let's let's go to the next story 4th of july okay 4th of july weekend a lot

00:08:31.540 of crazy things happen right i mean people want to go party you know all this other stuff benny

00:08:40.200 these conversations about you know can you imagine vinnie we would i saw a video the other day

00:08:46.520 where the girl says the friend calls she says when you get a phone call from your friend and

00:08:50.820 you're in your 40s all right so let's go to dinner tonight oh yeah great what time do you want to go

00:08:55.340 i'll see you at nine says 9 a.m says no 9 p.m he says i'm not going to dinner at 9 p.m tired 5 30

00:09:11.220 from the vault uh a lot is going on we got so much positive feedback on the fatherhood webinar

00:09:17.240 that we had and people said they had no clue those are some of the things that we talk about

00:09:20.860 at the vault conference and you know you have to win in business you have to win in personal life

00:09:24.940 you have to win as a father you have to win in your health it's a challenging thing and you have

00:09:28.760 to go to an event that you can openly talk about all that stuff and not feel uncomfortable nobody

00:09:32.480 walks on eggshells we'll talk politics we'll talk faith we'll talk finance we'll talk creating wealth

00:09:36.980 all of that unapologetic and everybody from 70 plus countries come to the same place and if you're

00:09:42.080 someone that's watching the same man i'm really at a point where i keep telling myself i'm going

00:09:45.180 to go to the vault i keep telling myself i'm going to go to the vault i keep telling myself i'm going

00:09:48.700 to go to the wall let me just make the flipping decision and get a ticket and go to the vault and

00:10:21.860 what a prolific phenomenal running mate would look like and i came with six qualities number one

00:10:27.300 their character can they keep their word okay number two was trust can i trust them

00:10:31.540 at what level number three is work ethic number four is a vision have we bought into the same

00:10:35.300 vision together number five is competency what skill sets does that person bring to the table

00:10:39.620 and number six is their contacts rolodex once i figured that out and i got the right running mates
