00:00:30.000 The part about Taiwan, Tom, that a lot of people are saying, like even you said,
00:00:35.020 I don't know if it's going to happen, it's not going to happen.
00:00:37.780 So this is the part, messaging from everybody.
00:00:40.500 Yes, we saw the chips with NVIDIA, 75,000 chips to each of those companies,
00:00:45.980 Alibaba, Tencent, ByteDance, JD.com, Foxconn, all that.
00:00:49.280 Yes, the 200 jets confirmed Boeing being sold at a price of $21 to $24 billion estimated value.
00:00:56.800 Yes, you know, they were supposed to do 500, but when it came down to Taiwan, Xi was not changing.
00:01:03.800 And even there was a moment when they asked about the topic of Taiwan to Trump and Xi, and it was an awkward moment.
00:01:10.080 Rob, do you have that clip?
00:01:11.080 Watch this moment here on when they ask about Taiwan.
00:01:14.860 Neither one of them want to comment on it.
00:01:16.520 Go ahead, Rob.
00:01:16.980 How are you talking, sir?
00:01:20.140 It's great.
00:01:21.200 Did you talk about Taiwan?
00:01:22.300 Great place.
00:01:23.300 Incredible.
00:01:24.480 China is beautiful.
00:01:25.200 Yeah, China's beautiful, right?
00:01:28.140 China's beautiful.
00:01:28.920 Now, Tom, I'm going to come to you with this one here first.
00:01:31.900 Xi warned, okay?
00:01:33.820 This is a Xi to Trump private sessions, Chinese FM readout, May 13th.
00:01:38.520 The Taiwan issue is the most significant concern in the China-U.S. relation
00:01:42.200 if addressed properly, stability.
00:01:45.200 Conversely, mishandling could lead to clashes and conflicts.
00:01:48.780 This is Xi privately, okay?
00:01:51.260 Taiwan's red line, China's red line.
00:01:53.160 The Taiwan issue lies at the heart of China's fundamental interest.
00:01:58.240 Foreign Minister Lin Jian, Xi press Trump, to publicly oppose Taiwan independence.
00:02:04.560 Xi press Trump to say, hey, leave these guys alone.
00:02:08.260 Then Rubio's counter, Rob, if you have the clip with Rubio, Rubio was like, no, this is not what we're doing.
00:02:13.080 Because, you know, the whole part of why this is creating a conflict is because Trump was about to sell $11 billion of arms package to them.
00:02:21.200 and they authorized the largest ever Taiwan arms deal but has not begun fulfilling China demanded
00:02:27.820 Washington honor its commitments and this is in December 2025 so here's what Rubio had to say
00:02:33.120 go ahead Rob yeah U.S. policy on the issue of Taiwan is unchanged as of today and as of the
00:02:38.680 meeting that we had here today it was raised they always raise it on their side we always make clear
00:02:43.100 our position and we move on to the other topics we know where they stand and I think they know
00:02:46.560 where we stand yeah u.s paul straight up okay for him to have that conversation and by the way
00:02:52.000 taiwan said thank you you know express gratitude for washington's long-term support and views
00:02:56.960 actions contributing to regional stability positively xi is saying hey halt the 11
00:03:01.420 billion dollar weapon sale to taiwan so you have to realize this is an interesting place because
00:03:05.880 china can like wait a minute you want me to be okay with you selling to taiwan but you don't
00:03:10.100 you don't want me to sell and help out iran why not this is a double standard so they're probably
00:03:14.920 going to use that in the negotiation tactics to see who has what leverage Tom what do you stand
00:03:19.580 with this where I stand is this don't sell that stuff to them and what Taiwan yeah so when they
00:03:26.220 say that stop don't do this what they're really saying is we're going to take it we're going to
00:03:33.040 take it and if you're selling this you're going to make it more bloody because if we don't jump in
00:03:40.280 or Japan offers support or even Australia offers support, you know, naval support.
00:03:47.900 Japan, Australia, they could get there very quickly.
00:03:50.020 They could be part of a blockade.
00:03:52.080 If no one jumps in, they're just going to take it.
00:03:55.080 That's what they're telling you.
00:03:56.440 And when they say don't sell that stuff and they make that the lead argument, Pat,
00:04:01.640 they're telling you that they're going to do it and they're planning to do it sooner than later
00:04:06.180 and they don't want a heavier armed Taiwan.
00:04:09.980 They want to do to Taiwan exactly what we did in Venezuela.
00:04:13.660 We didn't take over Venezuela.
00:04:15.140 We came in and we had the U.S. Special Forces give special Uber services for Maduro, right?
00:04:20.940 We're going to give you a ride, ride to New York.
00:04:23.060 I don't want to go to New York.
00:04:24.120 Too bad.
00:04:24.640 Get in.
00:04:25.320 Here's your tracksuit.
00:04:26.540 So it's like, and we took them.
00:04:28.460 So that's what's going on.
00:04:30.200 China is very, very clear.
00:04:32.500 They are going to do this.
00:04:33.580 And I think you can do it with an overwhelming military-threatening force without bloodshed. 0.78
00:04:40.960 And I think that's exactly what China has in mind.
00:04:45.040 And they do not want Taiwan to have significant new weapons to fight back because now it becomes bloody.
00:04:53.080 And now it becomes big. 0.84
00:04:54.980 Yeah, and by the way, while this is going on with the Taiwan, I think that's a massive issue.
00:04:58.480 Because I think the Taiwan issue, China is going to say the same with Iran.
00:05:03.580 which is interesting how they'll handle that, okay?
00:05:06.880 Then Xi is also bringing up and talking about the fact that this whole thing with Iran
00:05:10.820 is lowering the amount of transactions and business that's being done.
00:05:16.040 So, hey, we've got to kind of figure this out as well because, you know,
00:05:19.000 we've got to figure out Strait of Hormuz fairly fast because it's impacting business, okay?
00:05:24.080 It's impacting business.
00:05:25.900 So then Besant comes out and says, hey, this is why China has a significantly greater interest
00:05:30.580 in reopening the Strait of Hormuz compared to the U.S., and he's right.
00:05:33.580 He's right. So Trump's like, yeah, whatever. But they're like, yeah, maybe whatever to you. But we're being impacted by it. Rob, I don't know if you have that clip by Bessent on Bessent making comments in regards to this. Is that it, Rob, or is it a different clip?
00:05:47.460 I believe this is a different clip. This is him talking about the bilateral board of trade.
00:05:54.380 Well, it kind of goes with it. Put this one kind of goes with it.
00:05:58.060 The vice premier and I, who have a very good working relationship, I think we've seen each other, this was either our eighth or ninth meeting, worked on the agenda for today's meeting in terms of the economics, the deliverables.
00:06:12.160 And so we talked about purchases. We talked about some issues that the Chinese side have.
00:06:20.680 And we're going to talk about forming a board of trade for the bilateral trade between the U.S. and China.
00:06:30.620 And we're going to talk about a board of investment that will be responsible for investment in nonsensitive areas.
00:06:38.860 Yeah, so, okay, so there's Besson talking about that.
00:06:41.820 You know, he's kind of, you know, bringing up on the economy side
00:06:44.780 because he's dealing with a different issue.
00:06:46.640 And in the meantime, you know who people are talking about that's missing?
00:06:51.660 The guy named J.D. Vance that wasn't on the trip.
00:06:53.400 Now, you know, Tom made it very clear yesterday why J.D.
00:06:57.520 and the president didn't travel together.
00:06:59.280 Tom, if you want to make that clear for the audience,
00:07:00.980 why the president and the VP don't travel together.
00:07:03.300 The president and VP don't travel on the same plane together at all.
00:07:06.280 That's just for safety.
00:07:08.060 I mean, they could be going to Nebraska.
00:07:09.540 You just don't want to have something happen and have them both lost.
00:07:12.100 Yeah, so that's something that's been historic.
00:07:13.760 It's not like it's a big deal.
00:07:15.260 However, they don't send J.D. on a plane over to China either.
00:07:19.040 They don't want both men on foreign soil, both people. 1.00
00:07:23.920 President could be a female in the future. 1.00
00:07:25.960 Vice President could be a female. 1.00
00:07:27.000 They do not want both individuals on the same foreign soil away. 1.00
00:07:31.500 And same thing. 0.99
00:07:32.220 You already said that.
00:07:33.100 So it's the same thing, that they don't want the same person to go on the same place on the same plane.
00:07:37.460 So here's J.D. making fun about it, joking about the fact of why he wasn't there.
00:07:41.900 Go ahead, Rob.
00:07:42.740 The president just landed in China a few hours ago.
00:07:46.300 I always, you know, you may know that because of Secret Service protocols that I don't travel outside of the country with the president of the United States.
00:07:53.620 So on days to day, I sometimes feel like Macaulay Culkin in Home Alone.
00:07:57.580 I walk into the White House and it's very quiet and no one's there.
00:08:00.480 And it takes me a second to realize exactly what's going on.
00:08:03.060 But we've got a very big announcement today, actually a number of big announcements.
00:08:05.880 and so jd wasn't there and and so you know why isn't jd there why is he taking rubio why is rubio
00:08:11.760 you know negotiating jd's not going that was the reason there's there in this specific moment it's
00:08:16.820 not like one side or the other however is there anything else rap with china that we got to
00:08:22.460 address before we get into the next story china or taiwan it was one funny clip pad that we didn't
00:08:26.460 play when that he goes how'd you feel meeting him on hannity and he goes he's very tall for a chinese
00:08:31.560 He was like, I'm dead serious. 0.99
00:08:33.860 Rob, can you play it?
00:08:34.880 He goes, he's very tall, central casting.
00:08:37.780 He had to, he had to, because he is tall, Pat.
00:08:40.580 Yeah, he's a giant.
00:08:42.880 When you look for a leader of China to play a role in a movie.
00:08:47.660 Central casting.
00:08:48.760 He's central casting.
00:08:49.640 You wouldn't, you couldn't find a guy like him.
00:08:52.300 Even his physical features, you know, he's tall, very tall.
00:08:56.760 And especially for this country, because they tend to be a little bit shorter.
00:09:03.160 You look at the military.
00:09:04.600 I mean, the military today was incredible.
00:09:06.300 That military marching was incredible.
00:09:11.020 He's saying he's tall.
00:09:12.860 He's a big guy.
00:09:14.320 That's not common.
00:09:15.860 Who was the tallest Chinese basketball player that they had?
00:09:18.740 Yao Ming.
00:09:19.480 Yao Ming.
00:09:20.280 Yeah, Yao Ming was 7'4".
00:09:21.780 and the story of Yao Ming is two of the tallest parents.
00:09:26.720 I think Yao Ming was 7'4".
00:09:27.920 Can you type in Yao Ming, watch him be 7'6"?
00:09:30.520 You might be right.
00:09:31.220 I think Yao Ming was 7'4", but let's just check.
00:09:33.780 Yao, 7'6".
00:09:34.600 You know basketball more than me, Pat.
00:09:36.380 What do I want?
00:09:36.780 This one you got.
00:09:38.220 Okay, now do Murasan and Manute Bull.
00:09:40.660 George Murasan, that's 7'7".
00:09:42.400 You don't like when I tell stories, but I've got a great...
00:09:44.640 Murasan, some reports say 7'8".
00:09:47.240 Go ahead, George Murasan.
00:09:48.140 George Murasan.
00:09:48.720 How tall was George Murasan?
00:09:49.700 George Murasan was not in Yao Ming's league.
00:09:51.020 Okay, go ahead.
00:09:52.000 Go ahead with Hyde.
00:09:52.720 George, oh, my God.
00:09:54.080 That was...
00:09:54.540 7'7", guaranteed.
00:09:56.600 Do me a favor.
00:09:57.440 Ask the question on ChatGBT.
00:09:59.100 Can you do me a favor?
00:09:59.720 Ask the question on ChatGBT.
00:10:00.960 I don't want to have to embarrass my boss.
00:10:02.420 Manute Boll was what?
00:10:03.800 How tall was Manute Boll?
00:10:04.300 7'7", as well, sir.
00:10:05.540 Manute Boll was 7'7".
00:10:06.460 Maybe 7'6".
00:10:07.460 I thought he was 7'6".
00:10:08.580 I got drunk with Manute Boll.
00:10:09.920 I've got to give you...
00:10:11.140 Why not Boll?
00:10:11.960 7'7".
00:10:12.600 7'7", yeah.
00:10:13.740 Tom, so going back...
00:10:14.600 I'm sorry, Pat.
00:10:15.820 You're so funny.
00:10:17.160 Yao Meng, being the fact that he's 7'4",
00:10:20.080 The internet got it wrong.
00:10:22.660 Yao Ming, you know the story with who his parents were?
00:10:25.620 No.
00:10:26.020 Two of the best athletes in China.
00:10:27.520 They said, you guys got to make a baby together.
00:10:28.960 Wait, wait, wait.
00:10:30.180 Wait, wait.
00:10:30.560 Like an arranged marriage?
00:10:32.200 Go type in Yao Ming's parents.
00:10:34.100 Yao Ming's parents are 6'3 and 6'7.
00:10:37.060 They're like, hey, you guys got to make a baby.
00:10:39.540 And they made Yao Ming. 0.65
00:10:40.140 By the way, they had a one-child policy.
00:10:41.980 They knocked it out of the park.
00:10:42.980 Wow.
00:10:43.400 That's crazy.
00:10:44.240 And they did three children because of the height.
00:10:45.980 Like, they counted Yao Ming as three kids.
00:10:47.640 You know, in population, he counts as three people in the population
00:10:49.680 For us that are going into the weekend and we're having conversations about the 250-year anniversary that's coming around the corner,
00:10:56.300 we can't wait for that, as well as the World Cup.
00:10:59.480 And everyone's saying, Pat, what happened to the next hat?
00:11:02.160 I thought we were doing more limited edition hats.
00:11:04.980 By the way, Rob, can you do me a favor?
00:11:07.020 Go on eBay, if you could, and type in Future Looks Bright.
00:11:11.600 For some of you guys that missed the last hats and you're like, Pat, I can't get it, just go on eBay.
00:11:16.500 The previous ones, the number, you're going to pay premium
00:11:18.460 because people buy it and put it on here.
00:11:19.900 So if you go a little bit lower, a lot of these hats are here
00:11:22.800 that you can go order from previous limited editions one.
00:11:25.460 But today, Rob, if you can play the clip,
00:11:27.940 we have a limited edition, one out of 250,
00:11:31.720 USA 250-year anniversary edition, and it's sick.
00:11:35.720 Go ahead, Rob.
00:11:38.880 It started with a belief that bold decisions shape the future.
00:11:44.440 for 250 years that mindset has defined a nation not someday but now
00:11:52.720 relentless unapologetic always moving forward it's a good looking guy and the ones who carry
00:12:01.040 it they don't wait for permission they build they risk they lead this is for them

00:12:22.940 And where you're headed next
00:12:26.660 That shirt is sick
00:12:27.960 Oh, is that the sweater yet?
00:12:29.960 I didn't see the sweater
00:12:30.820 Oh my god, that white on white
00:12:33.060 By the way, does a bike come with it?
00:12:35.360 At Valuetainment
00:12:36.980 We don't wait for what's next
00:12:39.800 We define it
00:12:43.240 The future looks bright.
00:12:46.300 All right.
00:12:47.300 Here's all I'll tell you, folks.
