Valuetainment - “They Suck The Soul Out Of These Kids” - Nickelodeon Star Tylor Chase Lost Everything to the Streets

00:00:00.000 Did you guys see this video with this Nickelodeon kid star, Tyro Chase,

00:00:05.520 living on Riverside streets?

00:00:08.600 Did you see this video?

00:00:09.840 I couldn't believe it was him.

00:00:10.720 Can you just play this video, Humberto?

00:00:13.400 If you have it, it's a video of this guy.

00:00:16.480 Oh, man.

00:00:17.400 What's his name?

00:00:18.480 This kid was a child star, Nickelodeon, many, many years ago.

00:00:22.800 Tyler Chase?

00:00:23.520 Watch this here.

00:00:24.680 Watch this here.

00:00:25.280 Did you play a Disney channel?

00:00:27.620 Nickelodeon.

00:00:28.500 Oh, Nickelodeon.

00:00:29.500 And what show is it again?

00:00:30.700 Next week, I was supposed to be about it.

00:00:32.220 Oh, yeah.

00:00:32.560 You were that kid on it, huh?

00:00:33.900 Yeah.

00:00:34.440 Yeah.

00:00:34.680 Yeah.

00:00:35.560 Yeah.

00:00:36.120 I remember you.

00:00:37.640 Yeah.

00:00:40.680 Ah, dude.

00:00:41.680 Let me tell you, man.

00:00:44.380 When you see something like that, and this video in the street is going viral,

00:00:48.540 you see it everywhere.

00:00:49.700 By the way, I saw it on Vagetainment at first.

00:00:52.120 I'm like, wait a minute.

00:00:53.320 What is this?

00:00:54.060 Why are we posting this?

00:00:55.080 Then I went on.

00:00:55.620 I'm like, what a heartbreaking video to see something like this happen.

00:00:58.300 Listen, we all, Vinny, you know this.

00:01:00.700 We all have a friend that this happened to.

00:01:04.120 One of my favorite people in the world this happened to, and the guy's no longer with

00:01:08.360 me, right?

00:01:09.320 Mm-hmm.

00:01:10.280 You sit back.

00:01:11.220 Now you think about some of your favorite people.

00:01:13.960 What happened to this kid?

00:01:15.940 What did he do?

00:01:17.120 He looks like he's on drugs.

00:01:18.800 He looks like he's using anything and everything.

00:01:21.220 Oh, of course.

00:01:21.360 When you look at that.

00:01:21.940 Look at the face right there.

00:01:22.960 Humberto, what did he look like when he was younger?

00:01:24.480 They just showed it.

00:01:25.720 Do you mind pulling it up, Humberto?

00:01:28.900 Tap in Tyler Chase.

00:01:30.060 Young Tyler Chase.

00:01:33.900 Yeah, go to images.

00:01:37.440 That's him.

00:01:38.460 Jeez.

00:01:39.680 That's the kid to the right.

00:01:41.540 And what show was he on?

00:01:43.120 Ned's Declassified School Survival Guide.

00:01:44.600 Do you remember that show?

00:01:45.460 Is that a big show?

00:01:46.340 Do you remember?

00:01:46.780 I was around the age of watching stuff like that when that was on.

00:01:49.640 So yeah, I vividly remember that being on.

00:01:50.700 Do you remember him from the show?

00:01:51.700 Yeah, yeah, yeah.

00:01:52.400 Super normal and vibrant and everything.

00:01:54.620 Some nasty stuff.

00:01:55.940 How old is he, by the way?

00:01:57.140 Can you tap in how old he is?

00:01:58.220 He's 36, I think.

00:01:58.780 He's 36 now?

00:01:59.500 Yeah.

00:01:59.740 So he's six years older than you.

00:02:01.040 Yeah.

00:02:01.300 So you remember watching this kid.

00:02:02.720 Yeah.

00:02:03.180 How do you react to seeing something like this yourself?

00:02:05.060 Oh, it's crazy.

00:02:05.800 It makes me think of all the child stars.

00:02:07.440 I can't think of too many scenarios where somebody who's a child star ends up being in a good,

00:02:11.580 healthy situation when they're older.

00:02:12.940 So yeah, I don't know if it's just a pattern or if they get abused or if it's too much to handle at that age.

00:02:17.720 But yeah, it seems like a definitive pattern that doesn't put you in a good spot if you're a child actor like that.

00:02:23.620 And he makes a good point.

00:02:25.160 And Nickelodeon itself, they had that documentary about the producer.

00:02:29.640 I don't even want to say his name.

00:02:30.740 The guy really grossed me out.

00:02:31.740 But look at Amanda Bynes. 1.00

00:02:33.460 By the way, Amanda Bynes.

00:02:37.340 And this isn't Nickelodeon, but just think about Britney Spears.

00:02:41.800 Who's the other one?

00:02:43.260 Who's the singer, the skinny girl that's doing the wicked thing? 1.00

00:02:45.940 And all these young people that are involved with Hollywood.

00:02:50.380 And I know I've said this story before.

00:02:53.280 I know a guy, and Adam knows a guy too, that said the stuff that he saw.

00:02:57.460 Mind you, I was there. 0.97

00:02:58.760 I had my own experiences, meaning I almost tried to kill a freaking agent that was trying to do something squirrely.

00:03:05.260 And I was like, wow, my mom was right about what this place really is. 0.91

00:03:08.360 And they prey on these young people. 1.00

00:03:11.240 They see that you have talent, and they suck. 0.99

00:03:13.780 It's the innocents. 0.98

00:03:14.860 I think I forgot who it was once that says that they get off on destroying the innocent of a child.

00:03:21.000 And you see it.

00:03:21.660 You see it like all these young souls, and they just freaking lose their minds.

00:03:26.140 And it's all Hollywood.

00:03:27.420 It's that Hollywood machine pad. 0.98

00:03:29.460 They suck the soul out of these people dry. 0.95

00:03:31.460 And Justin Bieber. 0.97

00:03:32.940 I talked about somebody with us on the phone yesterday.

00:03:35.460 Justin Bieber, who I don't know, is my opinion, seems like he has something dark in there.

00:03:41.800 And he was such a young, playing the guitar in the streets of Canada, and was discovered by Usher.

00:03:47.600 His mother lets him go and hang out at Diddy's house for weeks and weeks on end.

00:03:51.740 And then, like, as a parent, you're letting – I don't even care if you'd even know nothing about Diddy.

00:03:56.860 He's a producer.

00:03:57.800 You're going to – Pat, I already know the answer.

00:04:00.560 You would drop Dylan off – look at that – yeah.

00:04:03.960 At somebody's house, a grown man's house, not a family member, not someone that's – for weeks on end to sleep over.

00:04:11.600 And then you wonder why.

00:04:13.300 And then you wonder why the guy is looking like he's going through stuff.

00:04:16.980 I'm so happy that he came to Christ.

00:04:19.420 But that place is disgusting from the Harvey Weinstein's to all the stories that we freaking hear about that place.

00:04:25.420 And who knows what that kid went through?

00:04:27.080 Who knows?

00:04:27.640 But, like, we even talked about Rob Reiner's son.

00:04:31.000 How are you in rehab at 14?

00:04:33.360 And, again, this is all Hollywood.

00:04:35.220 Rob Reiner wasn't – his son wasn't in Hollywood.

00:04:37.460 They lived in Hollywood.

00:04:38.640 How does that happen?

00:04:40.080 How do we lose that person?

00:04:42.040 I get it.

00:04:42.640 It's the drugs and stuff.

00:04:43.540 But what pushes them to go there?

00:04:45.200 Who the hell is – who are you getting introduced to that's offering you heroin?

00:04:49.440 Who's introducing you to crack cocaine? 0.92

00:04:52.340 That doesn't happen just by, oh, I met some guy at a party.

00:04:55.020 No, this is something sinister and it's something evil, Pat, and it's – you know, I wish the best for this guy.

00:04:59.000 Well, to me, it comes down to who your support system is because we've seen this not just in Hollywood, in many different facets.

00:05:04.760 You remember there was an NBA player, Delonte West.

00:05:06.760 Of course.

00:05:07.260 Could you pull him up?

00:05:08.440 He's still out there.

00:05:09.480 Delonte West.

00:05:10.340 So, listen, whether you're – celebrities, you have access to everything.

00:05:16.820 The hardest thing to do is say no when everything's given to you.

00:05:19.700 When you're making millions and millions of dollars and you're getting millions and millions of fans and views and clicks and everyone wants to be your friend,

00:05:26.460 the hardest thing to do is at midnight and say, guys, I got to go home.

00:05:30.080 I got to go home.

00:05:31.180 I live in South Beach.

00:05:32.140 I've been in the scene for 25 years.

00:05:35.260 I've seen every single party.

00:05:36.940 I've seen people do every single drug.

00:05:38.940 I've been around it all.

00:05:40.100 But at some point, you have to have the internal wherewithal to say, guys, I can't go to the next – I got to go home.

00:05:46.420 And some people aren't strong enough to do that, and that sucks.

00:05:49.060 We've seen other people like Corey Feldman.

00:05:51.320 We've seen Todd Bridges, different strokes.

00:05:54.240 You know, you mentioned Amanda Bynes.

00:05:56.380 I partied with Amanda Bynes 20 years ago.

00:05:59.200 I said, this girl's an alcoholic. 1.00

00:06:01.160 She's just shot, shot, shot.

00:06:02.520 I was like, no, I'm good.

00:06:03.880 But your support system, your family is the most important thing.

00:06:07.400 I don't know what's going on with Bieber, but I do know that at the very least he has a support system around him.

00:06:11.920 Yeah.

00:06:12.280 Look, parents, can you do me a favor?

00:06:16.260 You've heard me say it so many times.

00:06:17.640 Can you please go by Anxious Generation? 0.96

00:06:20.420 I'm not the author of the book.

00:06:22.260 It's Jonathan Haidt.

00:06:23.560 Can you just buy the Audible and listen to it?

00:06:26.280 If you have a daughter or a son, can you go read the book Bringing Up Boys or Bringing Up Girls?

00:06:32.460 If you got both, buy both.

00:06:34.700 Can you do that?

00:06:35.780 Can you do yourself a Christmas gift present and buy this flipping book?

00:06:39.860 I've never met the guy.

00:06:41.620 I don't know who the guy is.

00:06:42.880 I've never met him.

00:06:43.880 Can you do yourself a favor and go buy these books and listen to the audiobooks?

00:06:47.520 Can you get others to do the same?

00:06:49.340 If you like the book and it's life-changing, share with others to read it as well.

00:06:52.660 This book needs to be selling 10 million copies of why parents need to read this book.

00:06:56.540 And James Dobson.

00:06:57.420 Can you go to the other one, Bringing Up Boys?

00:06:59.380 Go type in Bringing Up Boys or Bringing Up Girls by James Dobson.

00:07:02.940 We have to be involved nowadays.

00:07:04.340 I'm going to get to this next story here, Vinny.

00:07:05.720 I'm going to get your thoughts.

00:07:06.540 So Paul comes out.

00:07:08.120 Yeah, right there.

00:07:08.880 Bringing Up Boys.

00:07:09.760 That one right there.

00:07:10.320 James Dobson.

00:07:11.340 Boys and girls.

00:07:12.360 Just go read the books.

00:07:13.340 If you got them, do yourself a favor.

00:07:15.260 We need to be more involved with everything that's going on today.

00:07:19.480 The other night, my wife's hosting some of her friends over at the house with Bible study.

00:07:24.700 Anyways, they're doing their thing.

00:07:25.900 They're having their food.

00:07:26.560 They're laughing.

00:07:27.440 And I come in.

00:07:28.380 There's like 20 cars in front of our house.

00:07:30.120 My security freaks out.

00:07:31.280 He's thinking something's going on.

00:07:33.060 I said, no, no, no.

00:07:33.640 I think there's something.

00:07:34.480 I think Jen told me.

00:07:35.240 And I forgot, obviously.

00:07:36.080 I forget we had something.

00:07:37.420 And I come in.

00:07:37.940 This lady walks up to me. 1.00

00:07:39.360 We start talking.

00:07:41.600 Very nice lady.

00:07:42.520 She says, oh, I see the shoes you're wearing.

00:07:44.800 She says, are those the shoes you've worn 3,000 days in a row?

00:07:48.400 She says, after hearing you talk about it, that you've been wearing it for so many days,

00:07:52.140 I eventually bought one for my husband.

00:07:54.000 So guess what, folks?

00:07:54.800 You know what I'm wearing today?

00:07:55.740 3,001.

00:07:56.480 Let me tell you.

00:07:57.140 When I tell you, since September 9th, September 10th, I've worn this every day except for three days.

00:08:03.120 I'm not kidding with you.

00:08:04.240 It's the most comfortable shoes in the world.

00:08:07.480 It's the product that you see us talk about every single flipping day.

00:08:10.400 But today's special.

00:08:11.100 Let me tell you why it's special.

00:08:12.520 You know what just showed up?

00:08:13.680 Nice.

00:08:14.340 The whites officially showed up to our factory. 0.58

00:08:17.340 First time ever.

00:08:18.540 And the navy blues showed up.

00:08:21.180 First time ever.

00:08:22.580 By the way, this is now in our fourth order because they sell out.

00:08:26.740 So if you're somebody that's wondering why are people loving these FLB shoes,

00:08:32.180 you may want to watch this video and find out for yourself and then go place an order for someone you love.

00:08:37.060 But this white one just came. 0.99

00:08:38.980 Absolutely sick. 0.99

00:08:40.020 Look at the bottom of it with the FLB on the bottom.

00:08:42.160 Watch this clip and it will take you to VT Merch and we'll go from there.

00:08:45.500 Go ahead.

00:08:45.800 Humberto to create a shoe that blends comfort, function, and luxury.

00:08:51.340 We had the choice to make it fast.

00:08:53.620 We had the choice to make it cheap.

00:08:55.660 We chose neither.

00:08:57.180 Instead, we chose Tuscaniro.

00:08:58.840 We chose true Italian craftsmanship, each pair touched by 50 skilled hands.

00:09:04.480 We chose patience, spending two years perfecting every detail, and we chose the finest quality at every step.

00:09:12.400 Introducing the Future Looks Bright collection.

00:09:15.240 Not rushed, not disposable, not ordinary.

00:09:20.460 Rather intentional, luxurious, timeless.

00:09:24.660 There you go.

00:09:30.400 Humberto, do you want to go to vtmerch.com?

00:09:32.400 Oh, you're wearing it today.

00:09:33.220 Good for you.

00:09:33.680 By the way, there's nothing like wearing these shoes and you're sitting in a boardroom or in a conference room or anywhere at dinner and you put your feet like this and everybody sees it.

00:09:42.440 And they say, you got to be kidding me.

00:09:43.360 Go all the way down.

00:09:43.920 Remember, these are 100% made in Italy, 100%.

00:09:46.840 Five factories with the on-cloud foam on the bottom, the super foam technology on the bottom so it's comfortable and light when you wear it.

00:09:53.880 And if you compare them to the Berluti Fergamo Zenia's Gucci's, the price difference is insane.

00:10:00.060 So if you haven't placed an order or two, the list we get of people that are buying, I can't say the names until these people wear it.

00:10:06.900 You would be amazed who's ordering these shoes for Christmas for themselves and their families.

00:10:11.400 Go to vtmerch.com, place an order or two, one for yourself, one for somebody you love or maybe your husband, someone else you got out there so they can wear the FLB shoes.

00:10:20.820 The white and navy blue is here.

00:10:22.640 The sizes, if you're wondering what's already been out, size 13 sold out.

00:10:26.980 For navy blue, these are not available size.

00:10:29.880 Navy blue, my God.

00:10:31.420 It just goes very quickly, okay, on what sizes are there.

00:10:33.960 But go place your order.

00:10:35.140 It'll tell you when it's going to be delivered.
