Valuetainment - “Tricked Out By Uncle Jeffrey” - Ex-Obama Counsel RESIGNS Amid Epstein Files Fallout

00:00:00.000 They announced top Goldman Sachs lawyer, Kathy Romler, to resign over Epstein-Links.

00:00:07.120 What they forget to tell you is, this was Obama's main lawyer when Obama was president.

00:00:13.160 She was the main counsel.

00:00:15.120 So the way they wrote the title makes you seem like they're taking a shot at who?

00:00:18.860 At David Solomon.

00:00:19.920 And they're taking a shot at Goldman.

00:00:21.840 By the way, Rob, can you copy-paste her name and just go ask, who is she?

00:00:27.020 Okay?

00:00:27.260 Or go to her profile, LinkedIn, whatever you want to go to.

00:00:30.220 There you go.

00:00:30.680 Go a little bit lower, if you could.

00:00:33.000 Zoom in.

00:00:33.940 Zoom in, Rob.

00:00:34.640 Whoops.

00:00:35.200 There you go.

00:00:36.680 She was White House counsel to President Obama.

00:00:40.460 But no, they put Goldman Sachs.

00:00:42.020 What do you think is bigger?

00:00:43.980 White House, what storyline is a bigger storyline?

00:00:46.820 White House counsel to President Barack Obama fired due to ties to Epstein.

00:00:53.600 And, Rob, what came out in the Epstein files about her and Epstein?

00:00:57.160 I mean, the way they were speaking was very mushy-mushy, like the relationship is a little

00:01:01.720 bit...

00:01:02.160 She referred to him as Uncle Jeffrey.

00:01:04.160 I have a newscast where they talk about the gifts that she received as well, if you'd

00:01:07.240 like me to play.

00:01:07.540 Go ahead, Rob.

00:01:08.080 We begin here at 11 with breaking news.

00:01:11.200 There is new fallout amid the release of the Epstein files.

00:01:15.180 The top lawyer at Goldman Sachs, Kathy Remler, is stepping down after emails showed that she

00:01:21.860 had a close relationship with Jeffrey Epstein.

00:01:25.020 Remler was also White House counsel to former President Barack Obama.

00:01:28.600 Newly released documents show that she called Epstein Uncle Jeffrey and accepted luxury gifts

00:01:35.180 from the disgraced financier.

00:01:37.460 Her resignation takes effect June 30th.

00:01:40.420 And in a statement, Remler said in part,

00:01:42.960 my responsibility is to put Goldman Sachs' interests first.

00:01:47.180 The company's CEO said she will be missed.

00:01:50.320 I accepted her resignation and I respect her decision.

00:01:53.700 If this had been a conservative, the first two words would have been Trump lawyer quits.

00:02:00.440 Those would have been the first two words.

00:02:02.280 For sure.

00:02:02.680 But this is her current role right now, right?

00:02:04.600 That's why they're...

00:02:05.960 It doesn't matter, Adam.

00:02:07.200 She got a high-end Hermes back for $93.50.

00:02:11.520 She got multiple bottles of wine, boots, a watch, and other clothing items.

00:02:17.880 In one email she wrote, she was totally tricked out.

00:02:20.360 It was Jeffrey's boots, handback and watch, a Hermes Apple watch band.

00:02:26.440 She discussed which style she wanted in a 2018 email.

00:02:30.580 And some reports suggest luxury coats and additional accessories like designer fur,

00:02:37.040 trims, and other possible other gifts.

00:02:39.940 There you go.

00:02:40.880 I want to know why.

00:02:41.780 Why was he so close to her that he felt he had to swag her up like that?

00:02:46.780 Why?

00:02:47.440 That's what I want to know.

00:02:48.380 What was she doing for him?

00:02:49.340 What work was she doing?

00:02:50.900 He decided, man, I got to send swag.

00:02:53.960 I just got to light up her lobby with her assistant dropping all this stuff in.

00:02:59.200 Are you lacking, you know, are you discounting her ability to be a lawyer and practice law?

00:03:02.840 No, no, no.

00:03:03.760 I want to know what was she working on?

00:03:05.500 What projects was she working on?

00:03:07.440 Well, she exchanged 11,300 emails from 2014 to 2019.

00:03:14.740 With Epstein?

00:03:15.700 With Epstein.

00:03:16.340 14 to 19?

00:03:18.060 11,000?

00:03:19.760 11,300.

00:03:21.280 Was she working with Obama at the time?

00:03:24.180 14 she was.

00:03:25.900 From 2014 to 2019.

00:03:27.540 That's one direct message on 70% of the days.

00:03:31.780 And then banking billionaire Ariane de Rothschild sent or received 5,500 emails,

00:03:37.380 while former Treasury Secretary Larry Summers exchanged 4,300 emails.

00:03:42.480 So this is, I mean.

00:03:44.880 Epstein was into the Obama administration at least, you know, 2013, 14, until he left office in January of 17.

00:03:55.760 At least that.

00:03:56.520 There's the overlap.

00:03:57.300 We have the dates.

00:03:59.460 Summers was his treasury guy?

00:04:01.260 Yeah.

00:04:01.900 This is his lawyer?

00:04:03.040 Yeah.

00:04:03.240 So here's what I think is going on.

00:04:05.600 Because you asked about grading Pam Bondi and whether Trump is going to address this or now or kick the can down the road.

00:04:12.380 Here's my opinion.

00:04:13.540 I think Trump is going to kick the can down the road.

00:04:15.900 By the way, he's not kicking the can down the road on anything else.

00:04:20.240 Tariffs, border, Greenland, Gulf of America.

00:04:24.340 Pick an issue.

00:04:25.380 Trump's addressing it.

00:04:26.560 But why isn't Trump addressing this?

00:04:28.660 And why is this on Pam Bondi?

00:04:30.360 Here's my opinion.

00:04:32.040 It's kind of like the Cleveland Browns.

00:04:35.120 Systemically horribly bad football team.

00:04:37.760 They draft Shador Sanders.

00:04:39.620 He's an average to below average quarterback.

00:04:42.480 And everyone's focusing on him.

00:04:44.340 But nobody's focused on the fact that for 25 years, they've been horrible.

00:04:49.160 They haven't had a good quarterback in decades.

00:04:51.460 They haven't had a winning team basically ever.

00:04:54.180 So Pam Bondi, who's been the attorney general for a year, it's kind of like, what have you done for me lately?

00:05:00.140 And everyone's like, come on, Pam.

00:05:01.720 Let's go.

00:05:02.560 This is on you.

00:05:03.320 It's like, hold on.

00:05:05.360 Merrick Garland was the attorney general for four years.

00:05:08.940 What did he have to do with Epstein under Biden?

00:05:12.180 Before Merrick Garland, there was Bill Barr.

00:05:14.600 Bill Barr.

00:05:15.360 And then you've remembered Jeff Sessions.

00:05:17.300 And I don't recall.

00:05:18.400 He had to recuse himself.

00:05:19.860 What were they doing during all this?

00:05:21.340 By the way, Bill Barr has been in attorney general in politics so long, he was under the Trump administration and also under the Bush administration attorney general.

00:05:31.480 What does Bill Barr have to say about this?

00:05:33.880 So you have a cast of characters between Loretta Lynch, Eric Holder, who was under Obama.

00:05:39.380 You have Alberto Gonzalez.

00:05:42.020 Janet Reno under Clinton.

00:05:43.380 This thing has been going on for decades.

00:05:46.120 And they want to put everything on Pam Blondie, who's clearly sort of unequipped to handle all this. 0.98

00:05:52.200 But the reality is, it's kind of like blaming Shador Sanders for why Cleveland Browns suck. 1.00

00:05:57.780 Your organization sucks. 1.00

00:05:58.480 Wait a minute, wait a minute, wait a minute. 1.00

00:05:59.440 And she's just the latest quarterback in a crappy team. 0.98

00:06:02.980 Adam, Adam, that mental yoga I got to back up on. 0.91

00:06:06.240 You want me to?

00:06:06.920 Nobody is putting it on.

00:06:08.280 Nobody is putting it on Pam Blondie.

00:06:10.380 We're looking at how she handled herself during a hearing.

00:06:14.260 You said it, and you're talking to the whole scandal and the whole thing, and there's some weird, odd football metaphor in there.

00:06:20.840 No one is putting the whole calamity on Pam Blondie. 1.00

00:06:23.640 You don't understand how football works?

00:06:24.200 There's a quarterback.

00:06:25.060 But they're talking about him.

00:06:25.680 And he's running the team.

00:06:26.500 Oh, stop.

00:06:27.080 You're always going to interrupt. 0.99

00:06:27.600 And if the quarterback sucks, you're going to blame the quarterback. 0.99

00:06:30.120 Stop, stop, stop, stop. 1.00

00:06:31.220 But the entire team sucks. 1.00

00:06:32.660 This is a tired technique. 1.00

00:06:34.200 So you think the entire team sucks? 0.98

00:06:35.020 This is such a tired technique, Adam. 0.98

00:06:36.360 I think people wish you'd knock it down.

00:06:37.720 No, not true.

00:06:38.200 That's my point.

00:06:39.200 Unbelievable.

00:06:39.680 It's the administrations that have been in there over and over.

00:06:42.560 Previously.

00:06:43.280 What?

00:06:43.700 Did Bill Barr?

00:06:44.860 Did Bill Barr speak on this?

00:06:46.600 Well, let's.

00:06:47.320 Did Eric Holder speak on this?

00:06:48.500 That's a very good point.

00:06:49.240 Did Merrick Garland speak on this?

00:06:50.820 These are the people who have been with the files for years and for decades.

00:06:54.540 And you want to put it on Pam Blondie?

00:06:55.640 By the way, so if you want to play this clip, Rob, because this is a very valid argument

00:06:59.500 to debate.

00:07:00.840 Play this clip.

00:07:02.560 Did you ask Merrick Garland that the last four years?

00:07:06.140 Did you talk about Epstein at all the last four years?

00:07:07.940 I am reclaiming my time.

00:07:09.300 I'm glad you're asking about Merrick Garland.

00:07:11.300 You don't get a reclaim time when you don't tweet when you can't tweet when you can't tweet

00:07:13.880 when you can't tweet when you can't tweet when you can't tweet when you can't tweet

00:07:13.900 when I don't answer your question the way you want.

00:07:15.480 This goes over four administrations.

00:07:17.700 You don't have to go back to Biden.

00:07:19.480 Let's go back to Obama.

00:07:20.660 Let's go back to George Bush.

00:07:21.940 This cover-up spans decades, and you are responsible for this portion of it.

00:07:27.760 Now, I want to know, at what point did the FBI and the DOJ decide that Lex Wessner was

00:07:35.880 not a co-conspirator?

00:07:37.500 Because our Epstein Files Transparency Act requires you, please put it back on the screen,

00:07:43.680 to release the internal decision about whether to prosecute him or not, and it's not in the

00:07:50.340 files, and it's not in the files for any of these other men.

00:07:53.180 I didn't even see this clip, but this is essentially what I'm saying.

00:07:55.700 Is that why you played this?

00:07:57.020 Yeah, no, no.

00:07:57.380 I'm playing it for a different reason.

00:07:58.500 I'm going to get you.

00:07:58.980 Go ahead.

00:07:59.140 Adam, Adam, you make a fantastic point.

00:08:01.840 No, no.

00:08:03.100 Hear me out.

00:08:03.720 This is your...

00:08:04.280 I understand a thousand percent your point.

00:08:06.500 Nobody talked about it.

00:08:07.680 Nobody cared about it.

00:08:08.600 The only problem about Pam Bondi, besides the connection of her and Florida and coming in

00:08:14.060 after Epstein and being the AG here, hear me out.

00:08:17.180 Don't make the promises.

00:08:19.000 Don't come in front of the camera and say, we have this, we have 10,000 videos, and we're

00:08:23.160 going to show you.

00:08:23.860 Don't be Kash Patel.

00:08:25.080 I agree with you.

00:08:25.500 Hold on.

00:08:26.080 Don't be Kash Patel and say this, and I'm going to do this on day one this.

00:08:30.480 You know what? 1.00

00:08:31.200 Those other idiots didn't make the promises because they all kept their mouths shut. 1.00

00:08:34.400 When you come out and say, I promise, I'm going to show you, I'm going to promise, 1.00

00:08:39.020 and then we ask for it, and you're blocking shit, and you're covering up stuff, you're deleting 0.84

00:08:43.100 this, and you're hiding co-conspirators, that's the difference. 0.90

00:08:46.580 You're right.

00:08:47.060 None of them talked about it because they're all implicated, all of their donors, all their

00:08:50.980 friends, all their people, all the judges, all the presidents, and everything.

00:08:54.420 Don't make the promise.

00:08:55.740 Keep your mouth shut.

00:08:57.040 That's how you kick the can down the street.

00:08:59.980 That's the problem.

00:09:00.860 She made the promise.

00:09:01.820 And don't go to lunch in Washington, D.C. and shoot your mouth off to somebody and get

00:09:06.180 overheard in a public restaurant.

00:09:08.040 Would you put Bam Bondi in the top five best performing people that they've appointed or

00:09:14.860 the bottom five?

00:09:15.680 Bottom five.

00:09:16.400 It's closer to the bottom, bro.

00:09:17.380 Okay.

00:09:17.660 Then guess what, guys?

00:09:19.020 Respectfully.

00:09:19.800 Okay.

00:09:20.060 There are certain jobs that everybody gets that's way over your head.

00:09:24.500 Okay?

00:09:25.200 It's happened to everybody.

00:09:26.740 You have to find a way to do the same thing you did to Waltz.

00:09:29.980 What was Michael Waltz?

00:09:30.880 What was the guy's name?

00:09:32.040 What was the guy that was signaling to Israel, whatever he was doing?

00:09:36.240 He's right.

00:09:36.580 And he had a big job.

00:09:37.520 Michael Waltz.

00:09:37.840 Michael Waltz, right?

00:09:39.080 We met him.

00:09:39.540 Mike Waltz.

00:09:40.000 Yeah.

00:09:40.280 Nice guy.

00:09:41.220 But guess what?

00:09:42.100 When that happened, what did they do?

00:09:43.620 Hey, you go to UN.

00:09:45.680 You go do, what was the job that he got?

00:09:47.620 Yeah, United States ambassador to UN.

00:09:49.820 Yep, yep.

00:09:50.080 You go do that.

00:09:50.840 You go over here.

00:09:51.600 We didn't fire you.

00:09:52.320 You saved face.

00:09:53.600 Take Bondi.

00:09:54.800 Move her off to a different job. 0.99

00:09:55.980 I agree.

00:09:56.480 I don't think this is Bondi's job.

00:09:58.120 I agree 100%.

00:09:58.800 I think then also the market will react in their own way, or Bondi can simply resign

00:10:04.700 and step down and go and do her own thing. 1.00

00:10:07.140 But I think this continuing this way, Trump, you know, we looked at some numbers.

00:10:14.040 You know what Trump's turnover ratio was in his first administration?

00:10:17.360 43% in the first year.

00:10:19.400 People are getting fired left and right.

00:10:21.240 You know what it is today?

00:10:22.520 28-29.

00:10:23.860 Trump's not firing people.

00:10:24.980 Yeah, man.

00:10:25.500 He's not firing people.

00:10:26.840 And he's got to sometimes.

00:10:28.820 I think he's got to fire somebody.

00:10:30.280 And this is not a good look because she made the promises.

00:10:35.220 She said, these are the things we're going to do.

00:10:37.580 Yep.

00:10:37.800 And she got caught with James O'Keefe.

00:10:40.560 And James probably likes Pam and didn't want to drop it.

00:10:45.360 And he sent it to them saying, we're about to drop this.

00:10:48.400 Then Pam comes in front of camera and says what they have.

00:10:51.580 That, you know, this is the point.

00:10:53.100 This is true story.

00:10:53.880 This is not like we're making stuff up.

00:10:55.720 So, for me, I think it's time.

00:10:57.940 I think it's time.

00:10:58.780 And I was hoping to see a different kind of a hearing.

00:11:01.420 I don't think she performed well at all.

00:11:02.940 I'll just go real quick.

00:11:04.380 I think the reason he's not firing these people who are, quote, unquote,

00:11:08.160 performing badly, Pam Bondi, Kristi Noem, Kash Patel,

00:11:12.860 is because they're doing what Trump wants them to do.

00:11:15.680 If they were stepping out of line, this is my opinion,

00:11:18.440 this is my opinion, they were stepping out of line for what Trump wanted,

00:11:22.040 they'd be gone in an instant.

00:11:23.460 You're fired.

00:11:24.780 You don't, what are the chances that Trump is having closed-door meetings

00:11:29.340 with Pam Bondi, Kristi Noem?

00:11:30.640 Of course he is.

00:11:31.140 And he's saying, Pam, I need you to do this.

00:11:33.420 Step up, Kristi.

00:11:34.460 You're doing this.

00:11:35.320 Put a little more makeup on.

00:11:36.460 Kash, let's go.

00:11:37.440 Get out there, buddy.

00:11:38.540 He's a leader.

00:11:39.540 And they're going to follow his lead.

00:11:41.100 So if they're stepping out of line, that's when I think they'll get fired.

00:11:44.400 If they're towing the company line and doing what Trump wants them to be doing,

00:11:48.860 I think that's why they're safe.

00:11:50.880 He keeps saying that Kristi Noem is doing a good job.

00:11:53.400 He keeps saying that Pam Bondi is doing a good job.

00:11:55.700 We see him very close with Lutnick.

00:11:57.680 If they were stepping out of favor, they'd be gone.

00:12:00.200 That's my opinion.

00:12:00.980 You're guessing it best.

00:12:02.520 And I'm not going to name names.

00:12:04.040 Pat knows what I'm talking about.

00:12:04.620 So what you're about to do is guess it best.

00:12:06.280 Go ahead.

00:12:06.540 No, no, no.

00:12:07.300 Not at all.

00:12:08.160 There are people that are there with the administration.

00:12:11.180 That's going to be the last one, and we're moving on.

00:12:12.600 Go ahead.

00:12:13.200 There are people with the administration who are stacking up what they see every day,

00:12:17.900 and not everybody is aligned with Trump.

00:12:20.540 Some people are ahead of Trump.

00:12:22.160 Some people are not ahead of Trump, and they're on point.

00:12:24.280 And Pat and I heard a list that went top to bottom that we're not going to repeat that was factual.

00:12:29.940 I'm not guessing.

00:12:31.100 Not all that cabinet is aligned, and they're not gathering with a huddle and following the boss the way you just indicated.

00:12:38.880 So let's just leave that there.

00:12:40.500 Not everybody is there.

00:12:41.720 Then they would be fired.

00:12:42.660 They're making action.

00:12:43.440 He made—if you—OK, we'll get elected president, and then you can take care of it.

00:12:48.040 But that's what's going on.

00:12:48.900 That makes no sense.

00:12:50.300 All right.

00:12:50.640 Let's go to the next story.

00:12:51.500 Let's go to the next story, next story, next story.

00:12:53.020 A new Faith Over Fear hat is coming soon to a theater near you, but I just wanted to—this morning I was listening to Billy Graham,

00:13:00.080 which, Pat, you told me to listen to him.

00:13:01.980 You're like, you know, Vinny, dive in and listen to him.

00:13:03.700 So I'm getting ready in the morning.

00:13:05.020 I'm just listening to Billy Graham, and he said something that I hadn't heard in a while,

00:13:09.020 and it was the Apostle Thomas.

00:13:10.760 When Jesus rose from the dead, Thomas wasn't there to see the resurrection.

00:13:15.200 So Thomas goes, I'll believe that he rose if I get to put my hands in his wounds and in his side.

00:13:20.220 So then he finally sees Jesus, and he goes in there.

00:13:22.980 He goes, go ahead, Thomas, go ahead, put your hands in here.

00:13:25.160 And Jesus looks at him and goes, because you have seen me, you believe.

00:13:28.420 Blessed of those who haven't seen me and still believe.

00:13:31.560 And in that moment, Tom, it hit me.

00:13:33.020 He's talking about us, OK?

00:13:34.820 We weren't there.

00:13:35.660 We didn't see Jesus walk.

00:13:36.700 We didn't see him die.

00:13:37.380 We didn't see him rise from the dead, but we believe, and that is faith in real time.

00:13:42.700 And he's talking about us.

00:13:43.640 And the last one, you mentioned the story about the Nigeria that we're sending 200 troops.

00:13:48.300 Trump is sending 200 troops.

00:13:49.400 They're saying they're not going to do anything crazy.

00:13:51.000 But think about that.

00:13:52.340 Think about the priests.

00:13:53.200 Think about the parishioners in those churches that were bombed and murdered and slaughtered.

00:13:57.220 And they were in that church praying and saying, please, help.

00:14:00.920 That is faith over fear in real time.

00:14:03.780 And that's what we're about.

00:14:04.820 And that's what the brand is about.

00:14:05.880 And I can't tell you how many people see me with the shirt because the shirt's on the back

00:14:09.360 and just tap me on the back and go, I'm with you.

00:14:11.540 Or they see this hat and they go, where can I get that hat?

00:14:13.720 So you go on vtmerch.com, get the hat.

00:14:16.380 We have the hoodies.

00:14:17.100 We have here, my, send me, which is Isaiah chapter 6, verse 8 as well.

00:14:21.580 But yeah, just go to vtmerch.com and pick it up.
