Valuetainment - “We Are Going In” - 54 Shot & Killed In Chicago Causes Trump To Send National Guard？

00:00:00.260 Chicago, this weekend, 54 shot, 7 killed.

00:00:04.580 These are facts. These are stats.

00:00:07.300 President Trump tweets saying we have to do something about it.

00:00:10.860 Pritzker's playing politics.

00:00:12.840 Pritzker's being interviewed, Rob, if you can play that clip on Pritzker being interviewed.

00:00:16.580 The lady's asking him a question. 0.69

00:00:19.160 54 were shot, 7 dead.

00:00:22.140 He gives a 2-second answer, and then look what he does immediately.

00:00:25.720 Go ahead, Rob.

00:00:26.260 I hear people, especially this past weekend,

00:00:28.880 54 shot, 7 dead.

00:00:31.980 They're going to say the city's not safe.

00:00:34.780 Would you ask your friends to ride the L after midnight,

00:00:37.720 or after 9 o'clock at night even, to come down to the city from O'Hare?

00:00:42.840 Look, big cities have crime.

00:00:45.160 There's no doubt about it.

00:00:46.340 But let's just pay attention to what President Trump is doing targeting Chicago.

00:00:51.940 What is that?

00:00:53.080 Big cities have crime.

00:00:54.600 Deal with it.

00:00:55.560 Deal with it.

00:00:56.460 They have a problem.

00:00:57.560 But Trump.

00:00:57.840 But let me tell you what Trump is doing.

00:00:59.380 So this was 32 separate shootings in Chicago.

00:01:03.160 Reported, Pat.

00:01:03.680 Reported, meaning they said there was way more.

00:01:05.800 Yeah.

00:01:06.520 Pritzker rejected Trump's threats, stating National Guard troops or any kind of troops

00:01:10.960 on the streets of an American city don't belong unless there's an insurrection,

00:01:15.000 unless there's truly an emergency, and there is not,

00:01:17.780 and vowed to sue if troops are deployed, saying it's an invasion with U.S. troops.

00:01:23.020 If they, in fact, do that, they'll be in court pretty quickly.

00:01:27.520 Mayor Brandon Johnson at a Workers over Billionaires March on Sunday declared,

00:01:33.400 no troops in Chicago, invest in Chicago.

00:01:35.940 This is President Trump.

00:01:36.860 Go ahead.

00:01:37.220 Bless you, Vinny.

00:01:37.700 Thank you.

00:01:38.140 Mind up on Chicago, though?

00:01:40.280 Well, we're going in.

00:01:41.440 Yes.

00:01:41.620 I didn't say when.

00:01:42.300 We're going in.

00:01:43.160 When you lose, look, I have an obligation.

00:01:45.220 This isn't a political thing.

00:01:47.400 I have an obligation.

00:01:48.980 When we lose, when 20 people are killed over the last two and a half weeks,

00:01:53.640 and 75 are shot with bullets.

00:01:58.060 So let me tell you a little story about a place called D.C., District of Columbia,

00:02:03.240 right here where we are.

00:02:04.100 You've maybe never heard of it.

00:02:04.900 It's now a safe zone.

00:02:06.820 We have no crime.

00:02:08.100 We have, it's in such great shape.

00:02:10.440 You can go and actually walk with your children, your wife, your husband.

00:02:14.660 You can walk right down the middle of the street.

00:02:16.500 You're not going to be shot, Peter.

00:02:18.100 You're safe.

00:02:19.640 Everyone likes you anyway.

00:02:20.820 They probably wouldn't do it.

00:02:22.960 But it's so dangerous.

00:02:24.200 But don't tempt anybody.

00:02:25.260 There are people in this audience that have, you've suffered greatly.

00:02:28.800 There are people in this audience that have been mugged and hurt badly,

00:02:33.000 and they don't want to talk about it.

00:02:34.940 Maybe you were very brave in talking about it.

00:02:37.140 You made quite an impression on a lot of people.

00:02:39.160 I appreciate it.

00:02:40.260 But there were other people in this room that have been hurt very badly

00:02:43.620 just walking down the street in D.C.

00:02:46.360 Washington, D.C. is a safe zone right now.

00:02:49.540 You can pause it right there.

00:02:50.100 So this is the part, Jillian, where you can scream as loud as you want

00:02:55.700 and then numbers comes out and then there's logic and then there's results

00:03:00.680 and then you can sit there and even the people that voted for,

00:03:03.940 who you voted for, now disagree with you saying,

00:03:05.900 no, I kind of like what he's doing.

00:03:07.440 So I think their debate is kind of getting hurt by facts, data,

00:03:12.060 proven that American people want to be safe.

00:03:13.900 What do you think about that?

00:03:14.700 First of all, you said a key word there.

00:03:16.740 You said Trump's threat to go into Chicago, a threat.

00:03:20.420 I heard him say, I hope Pritzker reaches out to me.

00:03:23.520 I want to work across the aisle.

00:03:25.220 Let's solve this problem for Americans.

00:03:27.780 It's an offer.

00:03:28.900 It's not a threat.

00:03:30.260 And the fact that Trump derangement syndrome is so significant,

00:03:34.880 the Democrats would argue crime is not really a problem.

00:03:39.180 I would say one murder that can be stopped is one murder too many. 1.00

00:03:43.020 I think that they are losing their shit, honestly, boss. 1.00

00:03:47.220 And that's why their approval ratings are in the toilet. 1.00

00:03:50.280 This is crazy.

00:03:51.340 This is nonpartisan.

00:03:53.060 But 35-year-old, according to Wall Street Journal.

00:03:55.480 And by the way, Mourning Joe, who couldn't stand Trump,

00:03:58.960 every day he had a chance to trash him, he did,

00:04:01.380 eventually agreed to go to Mar-a-Lago to meet with him.

00:04:04.080 This is the advice Mourning Joe, Joe Scarborough from CNBC,

00:04:08.280 just gave to Pritzker.

00:04:09.600 Listen to this.

00:04:10.220 The concern is you have leaders in Chicago that see this.

00:04:13.080 As you say, we've been reading about this for years now,

00:04:16.940 every weekend.

00:04:17.800 And maybe crime has gone down.

00:04:19.580 But, you know, we had the mayor of Chicago on last week saying,

00:04:22.020 oh, we don't need any more police officers.

00:04:23.680 Police officers aren't the answer.

00:04:25.740 No police officers.

00:04:26.900 You know, I think he said no five times.

00:04:28.680 You look what's happening this weekend.

00:04:30.100 You look so...

00:04:30.840 You know, I actually think that J.B. Pritzker

00:04:34.060 should do something radical.

00:04:35.940 Here we go.

00:04:36.580 I think you should pick up the phone, call the president,

00:04:39.700 and say, you know and I know,

00:04:41.460 you don't have the constitutional authority

00:04:43.140 to deploy the National Guard here and to police my...

00:04:46.520 You can do that in D.C.

00:04:47.780 You can't do that in Chicago.

00:04:49.720 But let's partner up.

00:04:52.120 These are the most dangerous parts of my state.

00:04:54.540 I think we would love to figure out how to have a partnership

00:04:58.580 that's constitutional,

00:05:00.480 that respects the sort of balance of federalism

00:05:05.120 between the federal government and the state government.

00:05:08.280 And let's work together to save lives.

00:05:10.800 Because right now, just the, hey, nothing to see here moving along.

00:05:15.060 No problem here.

00:05:16.580 Hey, Donald Trump.

00:05:17.420 There you go.

00:05:17.960 We don't need you.

00:05:18.620 You pause it right there.

00:05:19.180 You know, the mayor talking about...

00:05:20.280 It's pretty bad when a guy like that has to flip and agree with Trump.

00:05:23.880 And you know he doesn't want to, 0.99

00:05:25.020 but he's like, shit, I got to do it because you don't make sense. 0.97

00:05:27.060 Tom, your thoughts on this? 0.99

00:05:28.300 Well, when you have bad ratings,

00:05:30.460 liberal policy talking points don't work,

00:05:32.960 and you're threatened to lose your job,

00:05:34.420 you get the new Joe Scarborough,

00:05:36.520 who is actually taking a rational thing

00:05:38.920 because he's like, man, I don't want to get shot,

00:05:41.300 metaphorically speaking,

00:05:42.900 like some of these other anchors with big contracts

00:05:45.040 that have been getting shot out of their chairs

00:05:46.880 because of low ratings and things.

00:05:49.060 And suddenly he comes out like Bill Maher

00:05:50.720 with a measured position, number one.

00:05:52.780 Number two, I think he's right.

00:05:55.120 This is exactly what J.B. Pritzker should be doing.

00:05:58.660 And J.B. isn't even the mayor.

00:06:00.100 He's the governor.

00:06:01.580 The governor is the one that has the authority

00:06:04.720 to pick up the phone and say,

00:06:06.660 Mr. President, I need you to declare this

00:06:09.320 a disaster area because of flooding,

00:06:11.060 disaster area because of earthquakes in California,

00:06:12.960 disaster area because of wildfires.

00:06:14.780 Oh, more fires.

00:06:15.820 Okay, well, Gavin doesn't call.

00:06:17.060 But he has the authority to do it,

00:06:19.620 and he has the obligation to do it, Mr. President.

00:06:21.860 And you know why?

00:06:23.040 Because when you declare a place a disaster area,

00:06:25.420 you're eligible for federal funds.

00:06:27.160 You don't have to pay back or pay for it as a state.

00:06:30.000 So J.B. has at his disposal the ability to reach out,

00:06:34.620 and I think Scarborough is actually right.

00:06:36.580 Why doesn't J.B. do that?

00:06:38.240 Instead, Trump bad, Trump bad, Trump bad, Trump bad.

00:06:41.100 That is the only thing. 0.88

00:06:43.120 Trump bad is their blankie. 0.68

00:06:45.480 They have to stay on emotional cause points

00:06:49.760 because if they get to rational logic points,

00:06:53.040 it's the reason that the liberals won't go on Jubilee

00:06:56.740 because if you sit in a room,

00:06:59.360 words talk, numbers scream, and be rational,

00:07:01.620 they can't handle that.

00:07:02.600 So he needs the emotional reaction,

00:07:04.940 which is the tyrant is being authoritarian,

00:07:07.200 and he's coming here against the Constitution.

00:07:10.800 That's an emotional point that doesn't get to.

00:07:13.480 How many people are sitting there making arrangements

00:07:16.120 after the weekend to attend a ceremony

00:07:19.060 or ceremonies for the loved ones?

00:07:21.140 There's a hell of a lot,

00:07:22.180 and I don't care if crime's down.

00:07:23.840 Those numbers are horrifying.

00:07:25.360 Just the way he handled it.

00:07:26.460 I'm just so, like this is President Trump tweets this.

00:07:28.880 Six people were killed, 24 were shot in Chicago last weekend. 0.98

00:07:32.600 J.B. Pritzker, the weak and pathetic governor of Illinois, 0.98

00:07:35.180 just said that he doesn't need help in preventing crime. 1.00

00:07:37.160 He is crazy. 0.73

00:07:37.720 He better straighten it out fast or we're coming, MAGA president. 0.83

00:07:41.180 He responds back, Pritzker in the middle,

00:07:43.220 why don't you send everyone proof of life first?

00:07:46.180 Either way, Chicago doesn't want you here.

00:07:48.460 So then I respond back and I say,

00:07:50.000 why don't you do a town hall in Chicago

00:07:51.860 and ask families if they want the National Guard?

00:07:54.560 Invite folks from Englewood, Garfield Park, North Lawndale

00:07:58.680 to see whether Chicago wants Trump or not.

00:08:01.680 I forgot, you only do virtual town halls.

00:08:03.580 By the way, during his time of being a president,

00:08:05.860 he has only done virtual town halls.

00:08:08.180 He doesn't do live town halls.

00:08:09.760 He's afraid of his voters.

00:08:11.220 Adam, your thoughts on this?

00:08:12.320 Well, everything here is what I would call

00:08:13.740 the Sir Mix-a-Lot defense, you know, the big buts.

00:08:17.400 And I cannot lie, everything is a pivot away

00:08:20.500 from what's actually happening.

00:08:21.920 It's the, but Trump, but racism, but Gaza.

00:08:26.280 How about you stay in the moment

00:08:27.700 and address what's actually happening?

00:08:29.400 The hardest thing to do,

00:08:30.380 just like Trump just did with Muriel Bowser,

00:08:32.100 is he said, shout out to the mayor of D.C.

00:08:35.800 You gotta give her credit

00:08:36.720 because she actually acknowledged D.C. has a problem.

00:08:39.740 And rather than being like, but Trump, but Trump,

00:08:41.880 she goes, yo, we actually need some help.

00:08:44.320 Because in my opinion, they're playing politics

00:08:47.400 rather than actually trying to make progress.

00:08:49.740 You always talk about in business,

00:08:51.240 the goal isn't to be perfect,

00:08:53.260 it's to actually make progress.

00:08:55.620 What progress have we seen come out of Chicago

00:08:57.560 in the last 20 years?

00:08:59.480 Any city in America that's nicknamed after Iraq,

00:09:04.660 Chirac, you probably got a problem, homie. 1.00

00:09:07.240 Put the guns down and let's start saving some lives.

00:09:09.900 Guys, Adam became gangster.

00:09:11.300 It just doesn't make any sense.

00:09:12.560 I've learned it from time.

00:09:13.480 I'm just excited.

00:09:14.340 Did you guys miss it?

00:09:15.520 I'm a little scared.

00:09:15.860 JB, on a health note,

00:09:17.940 he was walking in the morning.

00:09:20.460 Oh, oh, oh, Zambik. 1.00

00:09:22.320 Dude, he was doing that.

00:09:23.860 But you know what?

00:09:24.340 You know, I do hope when it comes to numbers,

00:09:25.980 I'm serious, he was trying.

00:09:28.360 It's the voters.

00:09:29.580 I hope that, because you know we talk about,

00:09:31.160 I hope the voters are paying attention.

00:09:33.340 It's like clockwork.

00:09:34.320 Every holiday, everybody tunes into the news

00:09:36.760 to see how many people died in Chicago.

00:09:39.000 It's a bloodbath.

00:09:40.040 So I hope they're paying attention

00:09:41.180 because this guy, just like the majority,

00:09:43.580 especially the mayor of Chicago,

00:09:45.440 they're playing politics, like you said, Tommy,

00:09:47.400 but people are dying.

00:09:49.140 Sons, fathers, daughters, kids,

00:09:51.360 and drive-bys getting hit in the head. 0.99

00:09:53.320 I hope that they wake up 0.95

00:09:54.220 because it's not stopping anytime soon.

00:09:55.980 If you support CNN and what they stand for,

00:09:59.080 buy their gear, represent it.

00:10:01.600 If you support what Nike stands for,

00:10:04.620 buy their gear, support it.

00:10:06.600 If you support any media company, any podcast,

00:10:10.340 whatever they stand for, comedians,

00:10:12.160 whether it's Kill Tony, whether it's Schultz,

00:10:14.700 whether it's Rogan, whether it's anybody,

00:10:16.680 anybody you support, their values represent their gear.

00:10:21.080 If you watch our show and you believe

00:10:24.180 that the future looks bright,

00:10:25.640 I encourage you to support it.

00:10:27.820 This allows us to hire more people.

00:10:29.820 This allows us to grow our business.

00:10:31.700 This allows the brand to get out there.

00:10:33.600 This allows other people to be confused.

00:10:35.340 When you go into work or the gym

00:10:36.320 and you got a future looks bright on people,

00:10:37.560 like, wait a minute.

00:10:38.620 What, you really believe the future looks bright?

00:10:41.080 You really believe that?

00:10:42.400 Like, don't you think this should be communistic?

00:10:44.140 No, man, I really believe the future looks bright. 0.58

00:10:46.220 Seriously, you're a little weird.

00:10:47.800 I am.

00:10:48.740 And you're negative.

00:10:49.880 And you're pessimistic, and I'm not.

00:10:51.760 So if you're optimistic

00:10:52.740 and you believe the future looks bright,

00:10:55.440 go represent.

00:10:56.420 That green combo is my favorite.

00:10:58.780 That future looks bright shirt and hat combo,

00:11:01.780 my favorite.

00:11:02.460 It looks absolutely sick

00:11:03.840 when you have it right in front of you as well.

00:11:05.760 And by the way, at the VOL Conference,

00:11:07.160 for the first time in the history of hats,

00:11:09.080 we're launching the first gold hat ever.

00:11:12.200 The hat has got the future looks bright, gold,

00:11:15.020 and the logo on the side is gold.

00:11:16.420 You get a certificate of authenticity,

00:11:17.960 but it's only at the people

00:11:19.080 that are going to be at the vault.

00:11:19.900 It's only 15 of them.

00:11:21.180 Real gold gold.

00:11:22.080 Real gold. 0.98

00:11:22.700 That looks ridiculous. 0.98

00:11:23.520 It literally looks ridiculous. 0.88

00:11:25.340 But anyways, if you believe the future looks bright,

00:11:28.220 go to vtmerch.com, place an order.

00:11:30.440 I believe the first hundred people

00:11:31.600 that place an order get a mug or a keychain

00:11:33.640 or some trinkets being sent to you as well.

00:11:36.640 That's the mug that you get,

00:11:37.960 the first hundred that go place the order.

00:11:39.260 So go place the order at vtmerch.com.

00:11:40.840 We'll get that stuff over to you guys.
