00:00:37.880 First up, there's a big lie that Republicans are going to actually undermine Donald Trump in the Senate

00:00:55.600 As the Supreme Court is allowing the Trump administration to enforce deportations of gang members under the Alien Enemies Act.

00:01:22.360 There has been a story that has been circulating, and it's one that we're going to debunk right now.
00:01:28.200 It's that Republicans are going to break with the president and destroy what he's doing on tariffs.
00:01:34.840 Well, Senator James Langford set the record straight, saying he doesn't think that's going to happen on Capitol Hill at all.
00:01:42.360 He said if anything is stopping the president, it'll be lawfare in the court system.
00:01:47.060 You're noticing a trend with lawfare, right?
00:01:49.680 Take a listen.
00:01:50.440 The senator, in his own words, from Oklahoma.
00:01:52.700 So I think the president's challenge is not going to be Congress.
00:01:54.920 There'll be members of Congress saying, hey, this needs to be able to come back to Congress, as it typically does.
00:01:59.740 I think it's going to be challenging the courts, quite frankly, because it's novel.

00:02:03.900 It's a different way to actually take on the tariffs.
00:02:06.140 And so I think the courts are going to jump in and say, hey, we want to be able to take a look at this.
00:02:09.400 So there is a senator saying, guess what?
00:02:11.940 What you're being told by the media is yet again another lie to undermine President Trump and his job as the commander in chief.
00:02:20.020 Now, the senator also said, yes, there is an attempt in Congress to, quote, rein in the president's capability to manage tariffs.
00:02:27.000 But, quote, I don't think this bill will have an impact on it at all.
00:02:31.360 Now, the Senate narrowly approved a tariff control bill, which could not have won approval if it was not for the support of four Republicans.
00:02:40.420 There's a little chance the bill will get majority support in the House.
00:02:43.940 Trump also still has veto control of the bill should it win full approval.

00:02:51.520 Langford said the big picture is that Trump is on the right course and he believes his constituents will see the benefits as well, saying, quote, he's not wrong.
00:02:59.620 Definitely that China is ripping us off and that we've got bad trade issues all over the world.
00:03:05.860 And I'm looking forward to lots of new negotiated trade agreements all around the world because my farmers and ranchers are folks that do production of lots of different equipment here.

00:03:19.240 They want to be able to have fair markets.
00:03:21.920 Now, President Trump also getting in on the action at the White House today.
00:03:25.820 He was taking questions with Netanyahu and he was asked by the media about the tariffs.
00:03:31.240 There was a story that started to circulate that Donald Trump was, quote, looking at pausing the tariffs.
00:03:36.860 Well, Donald Trump said, guess what?
00:03:38.700 That's not true.
00:03:40.000 And here's the president in his own words.

00:03:43.380 Mr. President, would you be open to a pause in tariffs to allow for negotiations?
00:03:51.920 Well, we're not looking at that.
00:03:53.780 We have many, many countries that are coming to negotiate deals with us and they're going to be fair deals.
00:03:59.960 And in certain cases, they're going to be paying substantial tariffs.
00:04:05.340 They'll be fair deals.
00:04:06.820 As you know, I spoke this morning with the prime minister of Japan and we had a very good conversation.
00:04:13.020 They're coming and I said one thing you're going to have to open up your country because we sold no cars like zero cars in Japan and they sold millions of cars into our country.
00:04:24.480 They don't really take our agriculture a little bit of it just to keep us slightly happy, but they don't take what they're supposed to be taking.
00:04:31.120 So we have a great relationship with Japan.
00:04:33.520 We're going to keep it that way.
00:04:34.380 But they're coming in to meet and other countries are coming in with China, as you know, against my statement, they put a 34 percent tariff on above what their ridiculous tariffs were already.
00:04:49.180 And I said, if that tariff isn't removed by tomorrow at 12 o'clock, we're putting a 50 percent tariff on above the tariffs that we put on.
00:04:59.360 So they've gone for years.
00:05:00.900 They've become a rich country because of people, again, that were in the White House that allowed this to happen.
00:05:07.400 Hundreds of billions of dollars a year that make a rustling trade.
00:05:10.700 And it shouldn't be that way.
00:05:12.280 And I have a great relationship with President Xi.
00:05:15.440 I hope it's going to stay that way.
00:05:16.720 I have great respect for China, but they can't do this with just we're going to have one shot at this and no other president is going to do this, what I'm doing.

00:05:38.320 And the reason is that people allowed it to get that way.

00:05:48.660 And I think, you know, if we can make a really fair deal and a good deal for the United States, not a good deal for others.

00:06:24.660 Well, I think it's pretty clear now from what the president said in the White House, none of that is actually going to happen.

00:06:31.040 It is a major victory for law and order when it comes to the president, Donald Trump, having power to do his job.
00:06:38.040 The Supreme Court of the United States lifted a block from the U.S. District Judge James Bosberg, which was lawfare,
00:06:46.620 preventing the Trump administration from deporting suspected illegal alien gang members.
00:06:52.260 They were doing this under the 1798 Alien Enemies Act.
00:06:56.920 Now, this ruling from the Supreme Court is a massive win for President Donald Trump and most importantly for the rule of law in this country.
00:07:04.840 It's also a massive win for his administration because now they can actually do their jobs.
00:07:10.480 It was described, quote, as a narrow and focused on the proper venue for the cases rather than on the administration's use of a centuries old law
00:07:20.120 to justify its decision to deport suspected illegal alien gang members.
00:07:25.280 That, according to the New York Times.
00:07:27.480 So even when the president gets a huge victory from the Supreme Court, just know the hacks of the New York Times are still going to lie to you about the premise of the ruling.
00:07:38.300 Per the New York Times, it was a five to four decision.
00:07:41.980 Happens all the time, by the way.
00:07:43.960 And the Supreme Court justice found that the migrants had improperly challenged their deportations in Washington, D.C.
00:07:51.480 when they should have challenged them in Texas, where they were being held, quote, unquote, from the Times.
00:07:57.680 Now, the real headline should have been this.
00:08:00.000 The Supreme Court sides with the Trump administration and will allow them to continue removing Venezuelan trans de Aragua gang members from the country under the Aliens Enemies Act.
00:08:10.260 But no, the media couldn't actually tell you the story the honest way.
00:08:14.580 In a post on X, the Attorney General Pam Bondi responded to the Supreme Court's decision and described it as a landmark victory for, quote, the rule of law.
00:08:24.900 Bondi continued, saying this.
00:08:27.040 An activist judge in Washington, D.C. does not have the jurisdiction to seize control of President Trump's authority to conduct foreign policy and keep the American people safe.
00:08:37.840 The Department of Justice will continue fighting in court to make America safe again.
00:08:43.580 Trump also asked the Supreme Court to allow the federal government to deport suspected illegal alien gang members under the Alien Enemies Act.
00:08:52.680 And in March, Trump invoked the Alien Enemies Act to allow for the expedited removal of illegal Venezuelan migrants who were suspected of being members of that dangerous gang, the trans de Aragua gang.
00:09:04.700 Also, that has been designated as a terrorist organization.
00:09:08.440 These are terrorists that the president's trying to get rid of.
00:09:11.780 This was a massive victory for the president, and it's one that the media will not tell you the truth on because they know just how damning it is to their lawfare.
00:09:22.000 At the end of the day, this means that Donald Trump is going to be able to do what he needs to do to keep all of us safe from these gang members.
00:09:30.680 And here is story number three.
00:09:32.160 In some very important international news, the prime minister of Israel, Benjamin Netanyahu, met with Donald Trump at the White House.
00:09:39.820 But one of the biggest things that came out of the conversation was some breaking news that Donald Trump announced about having direct talks with Iran over their nuclear weapons program.
00:09:51.500 President saying this at the White House sitting next to Bebe.
00:09:55.260 We're having direct talks with Iran, and they've started.
00:10:01.040 It'll go on Saturday.
00:10:02.580 We have a very big meeting, and we'll see what can happen.
00:10:06.220 And I think everybody agrees that doing a deal would be preferable to doing the obvious.
00:10:13.960 And the obvious is not something that I want to be involved with, or frankly, that Israel wants to be involved with if they can avoid it.
00:10:21.760 So we're going to see if we can avoid it.
00:10:23.500 But it's getting to be very dangerous territory.
00:10:28.260 And hopefully those talks will be successful.
00:10:30.720 And I think it would be in Iran's best interest if they are successful.

00:10:36.900 Now, as President Trump was saying this in the Oval Office, Reuters came out with an exclusive report saying that Iran-backed militias in Iraq are ready to disarm to avert what they describe as a Trump wrath.

00:10:51.860 Coming out of Baghdad, several powerful Iranian-backed militia groups in Iraq are prepared to disarm for the first time to avert the threat of an escalating conflict with the U.S. Trump administration.
00:11:04.380 That is what 10 senior commanders and Iraqi officials said to Reuters.
00:11:09.220 The move to defuse tensions follows repeated warnings issued privately by U.S. officials to the Iraqi government since Trump took power in January, according to sources, who include six local commanders of four major militias.
00:11:26.380 The officials told Baghdad that unless it acted to disband the militias operating on its soil, America could target the groups with airstrikes.
00:11:35.440 A senior Muslim politician close to Iraq's government's alliance also told Reuters that discussions between the prime minister and several militia leaders were, quote, very advanced, and the groups were inclined to comply with U.S. calls for disarmament.
00:11:52.820 The factions are not acting stubbornly or insisting on continuing in their current form, he said, adding that the groups were fully aware they could be targeted by U.S. airstrikes.
00:12:04.700 The six militia commanders interviewed in Baghdad by Reuters at a southern province, who requested, obviously, Eminemini to discuss the sensitive situation, are from multiple different groups, many of them also with ties to Iran.
00:12:19.600 Trump is ready to take the war with us to worse levels.
00:12:23.420 We know that, one of the commanders said, and we want to avoid such a bad scenario.
00:12:27.800 The most powerful Shiite militia also saying that it's time for us to find a way to work together.
00:12:35.160 You cannot make this up.
00:12:36.800 Why are they doing this now?
00:12:38.340 Because they've witnessed what the president's doing with other leaders that he decides to take out, ISIS leaders.
00:12:44.360 And the president making it clear that if you don't get a deal now, well, you're probably going to end up dead.
00:12:50.540 The commander said their main ally and patron, Iran's elite revolutionary guards, military force, has given them its blessing to take whatever decisions they deem necessary to avoid being drawn into a potentially ruinous conflict with the United States and Israel.
00:13:10.100 So the moral of the story is, even Iran's military understands that right now is not a time to mess with the Trump administration.
00:13:19.280 And this may be exactly why they're willing to talk directly with the Trump administration to avert military strikes from a president that says he's not bluffing.
