The FBI Director, Kash Patel, has fired agents involved in tracking the phone calls of 8 Republican Senators and a Congressman as part of the former Special Counsel Jack Smith's investigation into President Donald J. Trump. Plus, accountability as the New York AG, Letitia James, who was targeting Donald Trump, has been indicted on bank fraud charges in Virginia.
00:12:02.620And we start with some shocking breaking news in our law and justice league.
00:12:06.800Just moments ago, two sources telling CNN that the Justice Department indicted yet another one of President Trump's perceived political opponents.
00:12:16.220This time it was New York Democratic Attorney General Letitia James.0.99
00:12:19.580She was charged in a federal court in a grand jury in Alexandria, Virginia.
00:12:23.060Today, you will remember James brought civil fraud charges alleging financial fraud against Trump and his adult sons in his real estate business in New York.
00:12:31.900Back in 2022, a judge found them liable and ordered a three hundred fifty five million dollar fine, which Trump appealed.
00:12:39.660And this obviously comes in the context of President Trump demanding that the Eastern District of Virginia, the U.S. attorney there,
00:12:47.360carry out orders to go after his political opponents.
00:12:53.540Letitia James, who as of today has been indicted.
00:12:56.060Democratic Senator Adam Schiff is the third that he mentioned in that public truth social post at the
00:13:01.860Wall Street Journal reports was accidentally posted publicly was meant to be a private message to his attorney general, Pam Bondi with me here in New York.
00:13:12.520Isn't it amazing that they actually overlook the crimes that these people are accused of committing?0.72
00:13:17.540And isn't it amazing that the same people that were screaming when Donald Trump was indicted on ridiculous and bogus charges,
00:13:23.660saying, well, he's been charged, he's going to be arraigned, he's going to have a mug shot, he's going to be in court are now acting as if this is all news that you should just look the other way on.
00:13:34.060There is one, by the way, one of those that was a part of the hoax January 6th committee, a guy by the name of Adam Kinzinger,
00:13:41.140who is at least somewhat honest on CNN about this fraud, mortgage fraud charge against Letitia James.
00:13:48.420And I want you to hear what he said, the people's trust in our system.
00:13:52.480Congressman, I mean, live by the sword, die by the sword. Is that is that the way the system should be?
00:13:57.700Yeah, no. I mean, look, I think two things can be true here.
00:14:00.540I think the first thing is Letitia James never should have made those comments.
00:14:05.020She never should have run on. I'm going to go after him before she's seen the evidence, before she's had anything that was wrong.
00:14:13.180Not illegal. That was wrong. And then at the same time, there is no doubt.
00:14:18.040And I mean, we can argue about it, but there's no doubt that this thing went.
00:14:22.920They went after her specifically for retribution, specifically because it was her.
00:14:28.640I mean, all you have to do is read the president's accidental fake tweet or whatever thing that's called posts and and know that he was basically saying,
00:14:37.240Pam, here are two people we have to go after. And then all of a sudden, boy, just miraculously, a new person comes in after the other person said that they didn't have enough to make a case and get indicted.
00:14:48.560This thing probably like like Comey's is either going to be thrown out.
00:15:26.940But the one thing that we can be sure about is this.
00:15:29.740Donald Trump ran on and said he was going to hold those accountable who abused their positions of power to go after their political enemies.
00:15:40.700And what we're witnessing right now is the deep state crumbling.
00:15:44.880And those that went after the president only for political reasons are now being held accountable for their own actions that apparently now include mortgage fraud.
