00:00:00.000 This is an iHeart Podcast.
00:00:02.540 Guaranteed human.
00:00:04.700 And we trust you fulfill the mission until every hostage, every 48 of the hostages are home.
00:00:10.800 Thank you so much.
00:00:11.900 Blessed be the peacemakers.
00:00:13.580 God bless you, Mr. President.
00:00:14.960 God bless America.
00:00:15.960 You're listening to the 47 Morning Update with Ben Ferguson.
00:00:19.980 Good Thursday morning.
00:00:21.180 We've got one big story for you on the 47 Morning Update, and it is this.
00:00:25.480 A historic peace agreement.
00:00:27.140 And Hamas agreeing to a ceasefire in Gaza and the release of all the hostages.
00:00:32.760 We're going to have all the details for you on that in just a moment.
00:00:35.660 But first, I want to tell you about Patriot Mobile.
00:00:38.560 If you have a cell phone, then why have you not switched to Patriot Mobile?
00:00:44.900 Now, let me tell you why I think you should switch.
00:00:47.660 Because not only are you giving your money to a company that's aligned with your values,
00:00:51.880 but you get unbelievable pricing and nationwide coverage on all three major networks.
00:00:58.580 That means that you're going to love what the coverage is, and you're going to love the pricing.
00:01:04.860 Now, here's where the magic happens.
00:01:06.400 If you're like me and you're sick and tired of giving your money to woke companies, 0.96
00:01:10.220 then, well, Big Mobile, you need to stop giving your money to them.
00:01:13.300 Because they're giving massive donations to democratic causes, candidates, and organizations.
00:01:19.340 I'm talking about radical organizations, including organizations that advocate, support, and pay for abortions.
00:01:25.460 That is why I switched to Patriot Mobile.
00:01:28.440 Because every month when I pay my bill, they take about 5% of my bill,
00:01:32.280 and they give it back to conservative causes that stand for our First and our Second Amendment rights.
00:01:37.940 They stand up for the rights of unborn children.
00:01:41.020 They stand with our military, our veterans, our wounded warriors.
00:01:44.820 And that's just some of what they do.
00:01:47.020 So stand with me and literally hundreds of thousands of other conservatives
00:01:51.840 that have made the switch to Patriot Mobile.
00:01:54.740 I'm going to give you a free month of service as well.
00:01:57.460 And doing it is so easy.
00:01:59.320 They can switch you over the phone in minutes.
00:02:02.640 Go to PatriotMobile.com slash Ben47.
00:02:06.180 That's PatriotMobile.com slash Ben47.
00:02:12.100 Or call them 972-PATRIOT.
00:02:15.500 That's 972-PATRIOT.
00:02:17.280 Use the promo code BEN47 for a free month of service.
00:02:21.680 That's PatriotMobile.com slash Ben47.
00:02:24.880 Or 972-PATRIOT.
00:02:26.880 And use the promo code BEN47 for that free month of service.
00:02:30.640 It's a 47 Morning Update, and it starts right now.
00:02:33.460 Story number one.
00:02:34.580 It is a move that could go down in history as a historic one.
00:02:39.660 Terrorist organization Hamas has reportedly agreed to the ceasefire in Gaza
00:02:44.460 and the peace plan that has been set by President Donald Trump and his administration.
00:02:51.340 This coming right now from the Times of Israel.
00:02:54.500 A peace deal could be signed as early as today.
00:02:58.520 Sources in the Palestinian resistance tell the Hezbollah-affiliated news outlet
00:03:04.820 that Hamas has agreed to a Gaza ceasefire deal,
00:03:08.860 adding that it would be signed Thursday in Egypt.
00:03:12.860 That is what the outlet is also saying at this moment.
00:03:16.300 During a press conference on Wednesday,
00:03:18.580 President Trump said he may visit Egypt sometime later this week for a possible peace agreement.
00:03:23.900 His exact words, I may go there sometimes toward the end of the week.
00:03:28.100 Maybe on Sunday, actually.
00:03:30.080 But there's a very good chance that negotiations are going along very well.
00:03:35.280 We're dealing with Hamas and many of the countries, as you know. 1.00
00:03:39.260 We have all of the Muslim countries included.
00:03:41.780 All the Arab countries are included.
00:03:43.780 And very rich countries.
00:03:45.660 And some that are not so rich.
00:03:47.600 Our final negotiation is with Hamas, and it seems to be going well. 0.90
00:03:51.420 According to Sky News, images from the negotiations in Egypt show what appear to be
00:03:57.140 delegates hugging and shaking hands,
00:04:00.320 which U.S. correspondent Mark Stone said looked like celebrations.
00:04:05.960 Quote, there is an agreement among negotiators
00:04:08.600 that it will be Donald Trump who makes some official announcement,
00:04:12.620 which goes back to that note we are reporting on earlier, Stone said.
00:04:17.640 It seems as though this is a historic moment for sure.
00:04:20.280 We don't know the details.
00:04:23.060 We don't know the extent to which the small and difficult points have been ironed out and agreed to.
00:04:29.140 But clearly, an extent to which allows them to announce a deal if that's what they're about to do.
00:04:35.300 A source also told Stone that Hamas could release the Israeli hostages,
00:04:39.660 who were taken on October the 7th, 2023, more than two years ago, as early as this weekend.
00:04:46.360 President Trump confirmed that both Israel and Hamas signed the peace plan in an announcement on True Social,
00:04:54.820 saying this,
00:04:55.720 I'm very proud to announce that Israel and Hamas have both signed off on the first phase of our peace plan. 0.91
00:05:04.180 This means that all, he put it in capital letters, of the hostages will be released very soon.
00:05:11.500 And Israel will withdraw their troops to an agreed upon line as the first step towards a strong, durable, and everlasting peace.
00:05:21.300 All parties will be treated fairly.
00:05:24.540 This is a great day for the Arab and Muslim world, Israel, all surrounding nations, and the United States of America.
00:05:33.020 And we thank the mediators from Qatar, Egypt, and Turkey,
00:05:37.100 who worked with us to make this historic and unprecedented event actually happen.
00:05:43.020 Now, the White House also released a phone call between the President of the United States of America
00:05:49.320 and many of the families who have hostages that are U.S. citizens.
00:05:54.400 And I want you to hear that conversation.
00:05:57.060 They want to say something. Is that right?
00:05:59.760 All right, hold on.
00:06:00.600 President Trump, you have the best crowd in the world.
00:06:04.560 What do you guys have to say to President Trump?
00:06:06.500 Thank you!
00:06:09.940 Thank you very much, everybody.
00:06:11.820 You did it!
00:06:12.680 You did it, indeed!
00:06:15.260 Thank you!
00:06:16.460 This is amazing.
00:06:18.600 Mr. President, we believe in you.
00:06:21.000 We know you've done so much for us over the past, since you became a president, even before that.
00:06:26.380 And we trust you will fulfill the mission until every hostage, every 48 of the hostages are home.
00:06:33.000 Thank you so much.
00:06:34.180 Blessed be the peacemakers.
00:06:35.800 God bless you, Mr. President.
00:06:37.200 God bless America.
00:06:37.980 Thank you very much.
00:06:38.640 You just take care of yourselves.
00:06:40.220 The hostages will come back.
00:06:41.760 They're all coming back on Monday.
00:06:43.600 All?
00:06:43.900 Thank you, sir.
00:06:52.820 Thank you.
00:06:53.280 Thank you.
00:06:56.360 You can hear the joy, the tears, the crying, the smiling, the hugging, and the clapping.
00:07:04.060 As the president said, all the hostages are returning home.
00:07:07.380 The president also made a phone call into Sean Hannity's TV show at Fox News Channel, talking about this historic deal.
00:07:16.100 And here's part of what he had to say.
00:07:18.300 Mr. President, you said in your statement that this is the first phase of the peace plan, and that the hostages will be released very soon.
00:07:27.580 I assume that means both those that are alive and those that are not alive.
00:07:32.740 And Israel will withdraw their troops to an agreed-upon line.
00:07:36.480 Can you expand on that and tell us maybe what part two is, or a part two, or a part three?
00:07:43.700 Because the idea has to be a lasting peace, and would that include the security guarantees that Hamas can no longer be armed with weapons that they can fire into Israel?
00:07:55.000 I was in a city, a border city in Gaza, near Gaza.
00:08:00.800 They had gotten hit with 10,000 rockets in 10 years.
00:08:03.480 I was in those terror tunnels.
00:08:05.420 I think you're going to see all of that disappear.
00:08:08.120 I think you're going to see people getting along, and you'll see Gaza being rebuilt.
00:08:12.060 We're forming a council that the Council of Peace, we think it's going to be called, and it's going to be very powerful.
00:08:20.760 And it's going to really, I think to a large extent, it's going to have a lot to do with the whole Gaza situation.
00:08:28.540 People are going to be taken care of.
00:08:30.640 It's going to be a different world.
00:08:32.000 I think really the Middle East came together.
00:08:34.500 Amazingly, they came together.
00:08:35.860 You know, they have some countries with extraordinary wealth, and just spending a small portion of that wealth can do so much for that area.
00:08:44.260 So we'll be involved in it.
00:08:47.180 But the big thing is hostages are going to be released.
00:08:51.120 It's probably our time would be probably Monday.
00:08:56.000 And, you know, it's terribly a terrible situation.
00:09:00.460 They're deep in the earth, and they're being gotten, and a lot of things are happening right now.
00:09:07.200 As we speak, so much is happening to get the hostages freed, and we think they'll all be coming back on Monday.
00:09:16.240 So it looks like that's the thing, and that'll include the bodies of the dead.
00:09:21.140 And, you know, the parents that we're – I talk to so many of them, but the parents are more – almost more intent,
00:09:29.500 but equally intent as getting their, in just about all cases, their son's body back than they are as though the young man was alive.
00:09:41.380 It's just the same intensity.
00:09:43.340 They want their baby's body back.
00:09:46.500 That's what one woman said, I want my baby's body back, and, you know, the son is 25, 26 years old.
00:09:53.120 So that's a very big part of it, getting all of the – it's about 28.
00:09:58.340 The number is 28.
00:09:59.680 We'll be coming back, but unfortunately, dead.
00:10:03.420 You can also hear the president there and the somber tone that he had about the bodies coming home of the dead
00:10:09.260 and how important it was to get those bodies back to those families.
00:10:13.780 The president was also asked a bigger question about peace in the Middle East,
00:10:19.380 and it's something that people have been striving for for hundreds of years, literally centuries.
00:10:25.360 And he was asked about his plan and how this could work.
00:10:29.240 I want you to hear how important this clearly is to President Trump.
00:10:33.820 By the end of this term as president, what vision do you have?
00:10:40.180 What would you like to see Gaza look like?
00:10:42.660 What will the relationship with Israel and other Middle Eastern countries be like, you know,
00:10:48.760 as this process continues to unfold and as you have convinced these other nations to finally involve themselves?
00:10:57.240 And then we'll let you go, sir.
00:10:59.260 Well, Gaza is going to be a peaceful, much safer place.
00:11:02.580 Obviously, it's been blown to pieces, and this is just not by Israel. 0.83
00:11:06.440 This is over years and years and years.
00:11:08.520 It's been heartache for many years.
00:11:11.060 A lot of people say this is a deal for 3,000 years.
00:11:14.120 So whether you say 500, because some people say 500 based on events,
00:11:18.400 but other people say this is something historic for 3,000 years.
00:11:22.360 There's nothing ever going to be bigger than this.
00:11:25.140 And so Gaza, we believe, is going to be a much safer place,
00:11:28.860 and it's going to be a place that reconstructs and other countries in the area will help it reconstruct because they have tremendous amounts of wealth and they want to see that happen.
00:11:38.980 And we'll be involved in helping them make it successful and helping it stay peaceful.
00:11:44.420 But I think it's going to be peaceful.
00:11:45.980 I think, again, the Iran situation was very important doing what we had to do, which was, again, 22 years.
00:11:53.940 It was planned to be done, and nobody, no other president wanted to do it or whatever for whatever reason, but they didn't do it.
00:12:01.620 And having that was very important.
00:12:03.460 But, you know, I'm very confident there will be peace in the Middle East.
00:12:07.660 I mean, the words peace in the Middle East is something people have been striving for for hundreds of years, for centuries, for many centuries.
00:12:16.280 And we really have – every country has come together on a little different scale, but so important.
00:12:23.080 It seems like everything is at a different scale.
00:12:25.280 But we're going to make our cities safe.
00:12:28.160 We're going to make Chicago safe.
00:12:29.740 We're going to make Memphis, Tennessee – we're there right now.
00:12:32.780 We're making it safe that there's a difference in one week.
00:12:35.860 It's like day and night.
00:12:37.940 I'm so – it's so important what we did in D.C., Washington, D.C., our own capital that people come to, and it was crime-ridden.
00:12:46.820 And now it's as safe as there is anywhere in the country.
00:12:49.680 It's safe.
00:12:50.460 It's clean.
00:12:51.440 We've cleaned it.
00:12:52.400 We've gotten rid of the thugs.
00:12:54.380 We took 1,700, in many cases, career criminals, and in many cases people coming from other countries that shouldn't have been allowed to come, gang members from other countries, jail, people from jails.
00:13:07.500 The jails were literally opened up in Venezuela and other countries into our country.
00:13:13.700 And we've gotten them out, and we're getting them out.
00:13:15.760 We took out 1,700 in Washington, D.C., 1,700 criminals that are no longer there, and we have a safe, beautiful capital again.
00:13:24.820 You can go and eat at the restaurants.
00:13:26.660 The restaurants are booming.
00:13:28.220 They were closing one after another, and now they're booming.
00:13:31.180 They're opening.
00:13:32.340 And this all took place over the last two months.
00:13:34.580 It's amazing, actually.
00:13:36.560 Nobody's ever seen a transformation like they have in Washington, D.C.
00:13:40.660 It's as hot as it can get.
00:13:43.320 It's beautiful.
00:13:43.880 It's a beautiful thing to watch, and to see it be safe with our beautiful buildings, the graffitis off the walls, the tents from all over, thousands of tents in our beautiful parks, our national parks.
00:13:56.080 The tents are all gone.
00:13:57.500 Everything is – and it's only going to get better over the next year.
00:14:02.100 It's going to be – there will be some rebuilding and some fixing up and some cleaning up, and people are proud of our capital again.
00:14:09.100 But the beautiful thing is it's really safe.
00:14:11.560 If you can walk down the middle of the street with your wife, you can walk down the middle of the street by yourself, your family can, and you have no fear.
00:14:20.240 If you did that, if you said that a year ago, they had almost no chance of making it to the other side of the town.
00:14:27.860 And so we're very proud of D.C., and it serves as a catalyst, and it serves as really an example of what can be done.
00:14:37.160 But to do that, you have to bring people in to do it.
00:14:41.160 You can't have woke police people that aren't suited to be police.
00:14:46.620 You can't have the kind of problems that we have that – I mean, almost in all cases, it's Democrat-run cities.
00:14:54.040 So you can't do that.
00:14:55.800 So we're very proud of Washington.
00:14:57.300 It's a safe place, and everybody should – you want to see some beautiful things in Washington?
00:15:02.000 You go there.
00:15:03.780 Right now, your biggest problem is going to be you're probably not going to be able to get into a restaurant.
00:15:08.680 They're packed, and they're booming.
00:15:10.100 You can hear the president there talking about world peace in the Middle East.
00:15:15.200 It's something people have been striving for for hundreds of years, talking about how people want peace,
00:15:19.220 and they want to be safe, and going back to what he's doing right here in the United States of America.
00:15:23.840 It's very clear that this is a policy that's not just a foreign policy of this president,
00:15:28.700 but also the domestic policy of this president to allow people to live in a safe area.
00:15:37.080 Well done, President Trump.
00:15:38.780 Well done.
