00:01:40.480 Union. I wanted to ask you, Mr. President, about Iran and on Iran. You came to the conclusion that
00:01:48.120 you couldn't negotiate with the IRGC. Does that mean that you might wipe them out like you did
00:01:52.880 ISIS? Yeah, it does. We will see what's happening. We received a call just as it was coming here. 0.99
00:01:58.880 Yeah. So, Mr. President, Dan Cain, Raising Cain, is your chief of staff. He was the one,
00:02:03.520 or Joint's chief of staff. He was the one who wiped out ISIS. That's right. Could he be tasked
00:02:07.660 then now to wipe out the IRGC if you can't negotiate? Well, we're going to be in good
00:02:11.820 shape. You're listening to the 47 Morning Update with Ben Ferguson. Good Thursday morning. It's
00:02:17.400 so nice to have you with us on the 47 Morning Update, and we've got a very big story for you.
00:02:22.880 It is interesting to watch the Democratic Party allow the Democratic Socialists to take over.
00:02:29.600 Well, they now have put out their new platform and where they want to get rid of virtually everything that makes us a democracy and makes us the United States of America.
00:02:40.340 We have the list for you and you don't want to miss it.
00:02:43.960 It's a 47 morning update and it starts right now.
00:02:47.520 story number one. Ladies and gentlemen, if you want to understand how dramatically the far left
00:02:53.680 wants to transform America, well, it's now in writing. You have to look no further than the
00:02:59.480 newly unveiled platform from the Democratic Socialists of America, known as the DSA. Now,
00:03:07.120 this isn't simply another policy paper that's calling for, you know, higher taxes and bigger
00:03:12.640 government which they love this is now a document that envisions fundamentally restructuring the
00:03:19.920 American system of government itself now let me be very clear what we're talking about the DSA
00:03:26.940 is an activist political organization they are not a governing body and its platform has no legal
00:03:34.080 force but they're running for office and now they become incredibly influential in the democratic
00:03:40.620 coalition as a whole. Many of the races right now are running Democratic Socialist candidates
00:03:46.600 in the Democratic primaries and a growing number of candidates not only are identifying but also
00:03:52.660 receiving support and winning. So what exactly are they proposing? Well Kayleigh McEnany explained it
00:04:01.240 as she got the platform notes and here's what it said. Well the DSA debuted their new Workers
00:04:08.080 deserve more program yesterday with a set of radical new policies that would gut the constitution
00:04:14.720 radically transform life in the united states the document pitches an idyllic future under
00:04:21.520 socialism quote imagine taking a day off from work in a future without capitalism you work as
00:04:27.600 much as you are able and no more than needed and you would control your own labor and see it going
00:04:32.640 to good use it's not just a job to pay the bills speaking of bills you don't really have them
00:04:37.800 anymore. You have no debt. You don't need health insurance. You don't pay a mortgage or have a
00:04:42.520 landlord because comfortable housing is a human right. Just because it isn't easy to imagine now
00:04:48.360 doesn't mean we shouldn't try to make it happen. Wow. The problem is it's failed everywhere. It's
00:04:53.680 been tried. Now, to be clear, what they're asking for is replacing America, our constitutional
00:04:59.540 structure, with a socialist, communist, Marxist system. The platform, by the way, calls to
00:05:07.200 replacing the Electoral College with a national popular vote, expanding the House of Representatives
00:05:13.180 so that they have the edge, ending the Senate filibuster, reducing the Supreme Court's power
00:05:19.260 of judicial review, meaning they're basically meaningless, and moving towards a quote new
00:05:25.180 constitutional framework that's centered on a single federal legislature. This is again all in
00:05:33.180 writing. Now, if you think about what this proposal means, the United States of America
00:05:38.020 was deliberately designed with three co-equal branches of government, the executive, the
00:05:43.840 legislative and the judicial. Now, communists understand that and they understand that's a
00:05:47.560 problem. So what they said was, no, no, no, we're done with that. And forget two legislative
00:05:52.680 chambers in the House and Senate, right? No, that's gone as well. The DSA is now telling
00:05:59.000 americans that all of these institutions are undemocratic and they should be fundamentally
00:06:04.140 restructured now they say these changes would make quote government more representative and
00:06:10.440 they argue that this is a dismantling of the core of the problems we have in this country
00:06:15.940 constitutional checks that we don't need balances that we don't need they want none of those things
00:06:21.940 to exist. Now, how did we get to this point? I'm going to play for you part of that history. Will
00:06:29.500 Cain, a good friend of mine at Fox, actually put it together, talking about how the Democratic
00:06:33.860 Party has now allowed, and it's really interesting to watch, the communists and the socialists to
00:06:40.680 virtually completely take over. And as socialism takes root now in the Democrat Party, are voters
00:06:46.980 taking to socialism? We may not have an answer yet, but we are getting a pretty clear picture
00:06:52.220 of what democratic socialists have in mind for America. Total, fundamental, radical change to
00:07:00.380 pretty much every area of government. The DSA underscoring that plan for upheaval in a new
00:07:05.700 platform just released. Let's walk through it together. We have it up on the wall. It's no
00:07:12.100 less radical than starting with replacing the president and the Supreme Court of the United
00:07:18.060 States. But we're just now getting started because the DSA would also abolish the United
00:07:24.160 States Senate, expand the House of Representatives and move to rank choice voting, the likes of which
00:07:29.780 you see in California. Still working to transform America, the DSA proposes, like many Democrats,
00:07:36.560 to make Washington, D.C. a state to defund the Department of War, end ICE detention and
00:07:43.340 deportation, and grant amnesty to all illegal immigrants. Now, these are the radical transformational
00:07:52.040 things proposed by the Democratic Socialists of America. Some of these we've heard already
00:07:59.640 from establishment Democrats. They've opened the door and the DSA has simply walked through
00:08:06.420 the door. Would you like to abolish the Senate? That's that's part of our platform. And we don't
00:08:11.020 think that's extreme. We think it's it's a change that would help make this country more democratic.
00:08:16.900 We have criminal illegal aliens in the country. Don't they need to be removed?
00:08:20.640 We believe that demilitarizing the border, that violent oppression of working class immigrants 1.00
00:08:25.440 who come here is not something that most Americans want. Democrats are left scrambling.
00:08:30.360 America may be left scrambling. It's like running for class president in high school against someone
00:08:34.660 that promises free ice cream for everybody every day at lunch. I mean, take a look. These are the
00:08:39.960 types of things being said by the DSA. Imagine taking a day off from work in the future without
00:08:44.620 capitalism. You work as much as you are able and no more than needed. And it's always accompanied
00:08:51.880 by the friendly little fist deal. Not sweet enough for you. There's more. How about this
00:08:57.660 from the DSA? You won't have any bills, no debt, no need for health insurance, no mortgage,
00:09:03.200 no landlords retirement publicly funded sounds too good to be true that's because of course you're
00:09:10.700 not a sap but for now all of this is too much for traditional democrats it's too hard to compete
00:09:18.840 so you're looking at traditional establishment democrats say don't look here look over here
00:09:25.660 like former president biden who has a book he'd like to talk about but not until after the midterms
00:09:31.400 It's about the challenge we face as a nation, about the decisions I made, and why I made them.
00:09:42.480 Leading the country through COVID, rebuilding our economy, and restoring our democracy after the attack on January 6th. 0.83
00:09:51.900 Ending our nation's longest war in Afghanistan. Strengthening NATO, and supporting Ukraine.
00:09:57.580 As Biden slurs his way through the past, the far left, full stream ahead into the future, knocking the Democrat establishment off its feet in the process.
00:10:07.560 So the big tent we've heard about, well, it's hard to really know if they're winning the hearts and minds, the D.S.A.
00:10:14.720 Are they winning the hearts and minds of Democrats? It's hard to know. Just know they're running against this.
00:10:21.280 I request 30 more seconds because I rise before you adorning the gentleman from Maryland.
00:10:25.280 I am going to be working on our behalf.
00:10:37.120 I am going to be telling the stories on our behalf.
00:10:40.680 And you better believe I'm going to be doing it with a little bit of joy, a little bit of enthusiasm, a little bit of energy, and a little bit of stick it to them.
00:10:50.160 Because that's the Michigan way.
00:10:52.100 That is Democratic establishment candidate Haley Stevens, who's running against socialist
00:10:58.340 candidate Abdul El-Sayed for Senate in Michigan. Somebody clever on X said the Democrats said we
00:11:03.940 need new voices. And here's Haley Stevens to offer you a 1930s baseball manager.
00:11:08.400 But can't we say it's something we've seen before? You better thank a union member
00:11:13.340 for the five-day work week?
00:11:18.860 You better thank a union member for sick leave.
00:11:21.780 You better thank a union member for paid leave.
00:11:24.760 You better thank a union member for vacation time.
00:11:28.140 All right, all right, listen, all right, listen, listen, okay, listen.
00:11:33.320 I don't feel no ways tired.
00:11:35.780 I come too far from where I started from.
00:11:41.660 nobody told me that the road would be easy haley stevens doesn't even take the gold for changing 0.99
00:11:48.660 accents in front of her audience and not least among democrats but the problem c for democrats
00:11:53.480 isn't how they're speaking it's what they're speaking about that's the problem legitimately
00:12:00.540 when the campaign consultants told me hey we're gonna hit this line because kamal harris came out
00:12:06.300 in favor of taxpayer
00:12:08.200 funded sex changes for illegal aliens.
00:12:10.840 And I remember 0.97
00:12:12.100 thinking to myself, come on, you guys.
00:12:14.500 Like, she didn't really say that. It's taken
00:12:16.260 out of context. And then I go and look at it
00:12:18.240 and I'm like, holy s***, she 0.93
00:12:20.120 actually said that? And she was, 0.95
00:12:22.540 she really was like 0.76
00:12:24.000 the very worst 0.96
00:12:26.120 version of what the Democrats
00:12:28.300 were producing in 2020. The thing is,
00:12:30.260 it was, they were all doing it
00:12:32.060 because that was the incentives of the party.
00:12:34.300 You listen there, by the way, to the
00:12:36.140 vice president and what he's saying. This is the incentives of the party. It is no shock that we
00:12:42.380 now are at a point where we have the democratic socialists of America who really are running the
00:12:49.320 agenda, who are pushing the future, who are advocating for destroying this country. When
00:12:56.560 they tell you what they believe in, please believe them. They're not lying, folks. This is what they
00:13:05.980 believe. And it's
00:13:08.040 only going to get worse.
