00:00:00.000 This is an iHeart Podcast.
00:00:02.660 Guaranteed human.
00:00:04.900 The turkeys being pardoned today go by the names of Gobble and Waddle.
00:00:09.180 When I first saw their pictures, I thought we should send them,
00:00:12.680 well, I shouldn't say this.
00:00:14.960 I was going to call them Chuck and Nancy.
00:00:16.760 But then I realized I wouldn't be pardoning them.
00:00:18.780 I would never pardon those two people.
00:00:20.520 I wouldn't pardon them.
00:00:21.720 I wouldn't care what Melania told me.
00:00:24.080 Darling, I think it would be a nice thing to do.
00:00:25.760 I won't do it, darling.
00:00:26.740 You're listening to a 47 Morning Update Special Edition with Ben Ferguson.
00:00:32.220 Good Thursday morning.
00:00:33.520 It is Thanksgiving.
00:00:35.080 And thank you for all of you that are spending some time with us
00:00:38.100 as we have one tough and important story to talk about.
00:00:41.380 Two National Guardsmen have been shot near the White House.
00:00:44.860 The West Wing went into a lockdown.
00:00:46.820 And now we know about the suspect who was in the country illegally from Afghanistan,
00:00:52.600 yelling apparently a la Akbar during the attack.
00:00:55.700 I'm going to give you the details of everything we know at this moment.
00:00:59.780 It's the 47 Morning Update and it starts right now.
00:01:03.020 Story number one.
00:01:04.280 I want to open by talking about what happened in D.C.
00:01:08.380 You have two National Guardsmen that were ambushed.
00:01:12.200 We now know it was because of a Afghan national.
00:01:15.480 We know that the Afghan national came into the U.S. in 2021
00:01:20.020 in our withdrawal from Afghanistan.
00:01:23.020 We know that the individual, the alleged terrorist gunman
00:01:28.140 who shot the two National Guard members, overstayed his visa.
00:01:32.000 Crazed gunman shooting those two National Guardsmen in an ambush near the White House
00:01:36.060 is a 29-year-old Afghan national who came during the chaotic 2021 Afghan withdrawal.
00:01:43.760 He was lying in wait before he rounded the corner near the Farragut West Metro Station,
00:01:48.620 opened fire, striking a female guard in the chest before deliberately trying to execute her,
00:01:53.880 shooting her in the head, according to law enforcement sources.
00:01:56.780 The man entered the country under Operation Allies. 0.97
00:02:00.280 That would be Joe Biden.
00:02:01.520 You know, because he never met an illegal immigrant.
00:02:03.700 He didn't say, come to America.
00:02:05.380 He, quote, resettled in Bellingham, Washington.
00:02:08.240 He fired at and struck the second guard after shooting the first in the head.
00:02:13.100 A third guard stationed nearby rushed the area and took him down.
00:02:16.140 The two armed soldiers who were patrolling the streets
00:02:18.940 when the suspect launched his vicious rampage
00:02:20.980 were taken to nearby hospitals in critical condition at the time.
00:02:24.340 The suspect was reportedly shot four times.
00:02:27.120 What was he saying when he was shooting?
00:02:29.620 A la Akbar.
00:02:30.760 Some things never change in these terrorist attacks.
00:02:33.580 Law enforcement sources to the FBI is initially treating the shooting
00:02:36.400 as a potential act of terrorism.
00:02:38.440 But why did this happen and how did we get here yet again?
00:02:41.700 I'm going to tell you.
00:02:42.920 I think it's because, yet again, we are witnessing the dehumanization
00:02:46.300 of our men and women in uniform.
00:02:48.800 Yet again, we are watching Democrats dehumanize our men and women
00:02:54.380 who protect and defend.
00:02:56.460 Over and over again, we are witnessing this happen.
00:03:01.100 When Fox News Channel broke the news,
00:03:03.660 you had them telling the story and in shock
00:03:07.600 about how we got to this point.
00:03:10.000 And this is just days after six Democratic lawmakers
00:03:13.580 dehumanized our men and women in uniform,
00:03:17.600 dehumanized the National Guard.
00:03:19.720 And you wonder what could have motivated this individual.
00:03:22.620 I want you to listen to the Fox report.
00:03:25.320 This is a Fox News alert.
00:03:26.880 Two National Guardsmen in critical condition tonight
00:03:30.260 after being shot in a targeted attack just blocks from the White House.
00:03:34.340 The lone suspect is in custody.
00:03:36.280 Sources telling Fox News that the gunman is an Afghan national
00:03:40.140 who was let in under Biden and then overstayed his visa.
00:03:44.880 And this is in just moments ago.
00:03:47.260 The suspect apparently waited for the guardsman to come around the corner,
00:03:50.800 then opened fire.
00:03:52.140 He shot a female guard in the chest,
00:03:55.020 then walked up, took her firearm, 0.62
00:03:57.700 and shot her point blank in the head.
00:04:00.220 He took her weapon and fired at other guard members,
00:04:03.780 hitting one in the neck before a third guardsman engaged him and brought him down.
00:04:09.540 Let's go live now to West Palm Beach,
00:04:12.100 where Fox's Dana Marie McNichol is standing by.
00:04:15.160 Dana Marie, what has the reaction been from the White House tonight?
00:04:18.520 Hi, Jason.
00:04:19.300 Good evening.
00:04:20.140 Although President Trump is here in Florida,
00:04:22.220 the White House went on lockdown immediately after that shooting happened.
00:04:26.320 We know that the president was quickly briefed.
00:04:29.520 And then he posted on Truth Social Updates,
00:04:32.480 he shared the suspect who shot the two National Guard members is severely wounded
00:04:37.740 and will co-pay a very steep price.
00:04:40.940 He wrote,
00:04:41.600 God bless our great National Guard and all our military and law enforcement.
00:04:45.640 They are truly great people.
00:04:47.600 We know Senator Chuck Schumer,
00:04:48.800 he posted on X,
00:04:49.740 he's closely monitoring the situation and thanking first responders
00:04:53.000 for quickly capturing the suspect that Fox News just confirmed is an Afghan national
00:04:58.180 who came into the United States during Operation Allies Welcome in 2021
00:05:03.320 under the Biden administration.
00:05:06.120 Now, law enforcement sources say they believe the male suspect acted alone in a targeted attack.
00:05:12.720 Now, hundreds of National Guard troops have been in Washington since August.
00:05:16.000 And earlier this month, President Trump ordered their deployment to be extended in the city
00:05:20.560 until at least through February of next year.
00:05:24.520 And tonight, the Secretary of War, Pete Hegseth,
00:05:27.040 said that Trump ordered an additional 500 troops to be deployed in D.C.
00:05:31.840 Now, as the news of the shooting broke, Vice President J.D. Vance,
00:05:35.160 he was addressing service members at Fort Campbell in Kentucky ahead of the Thanksgiving holiday.
00:05:40.240 He asked for prayers for the two West Virginia National Guard members
00:05:44.020 who are in critical condition tonight.
00:05:45.920 And, Dacian, you just shared those gruesome details of how this shooting played out
00:05:50.060 just blocks away from the White House.
00:05:52.840 Now, the president is not expected to address this shooting on camera tonight,
00:05:55.980 but tomorrow does have a scheduled call over the phone with service members.
00:06:00.500 So, of course, we'll be bringing you those remarks.
00:06:02.820 Just think about everything you just heard there and then go back to this question.
00:06:06.700 And the question that all of you should be asking yourself is,
00:06:11.200 how did we get to a point where this is now the new norm?
00:06:14.460 It's not just the shooting of the National Guardsmen.
00:06:16.900 It's the attacking of ICE agents.
00:06:19.160 Multiple ICE agents have been shot.
00:06:20.940 Multiple innocent people have been killed while they were targeting ICE agents.
00:06:25.780 This is consistent over and over and over again.
00:06:31.660 The dehumanizing of our men and women in law enforcement over and over and over again.
00:06:38.920 Why is the left doing this?
00:06:41.480 Because they don't mind it when these people get shot.
00:06:44.260 They don't mind it when they get killed.
00:06:46.600 And if you stand up and say the truth about this,
00:06:49.140 that you don't want these people coming into our country, 1.00
00:06:51.060 that's like, oh, that's Islamophobic and you can't say that.
00:06:54.760 I'm sorry.
00:06:55.820 This person should have never been led into this country. 0.99
00:06:58.520 This person should have never been allowed to come in without being vetted.
00:07:03.060 And when you have an Islamic war cry going out, 0.82
00:07:05.960 Allah Akbar, by a 29-year-old Afghan illegal immigrant
00:07:09.640 who opened fire on U.S. Guardsmen just two miles from the White House,
00:07:13.580 brought here in 2021 by Joe Biden.
00:07:17.180 Multiple law enforcement sources and eyewitnesses confirmed the shooter.
00:07:20.400 The Afghan National Screamed Allah Akbar 0.98
00:07:22.060 while attacking three D.C. National Guardsmen near the Capitol.
00:07:25.000 Witnesses described the chilling jihadist indicators.
00:07:29.220 Islamic beard, a hallmark of religious jihadists. 1.00
00:07:32.020 Repeated shouts of Allah Akbar,
00:07:33.760 the signature war cry used in nearly every major jihadist attack worldwide.
00:07:38.520 And of course, the media is going to want to tell you and downplay this
00:07:41.100 and not give you this story and say it was random or senseless
00:07:43.600 or that we, you know, some sort of gun violence and we need more gun control.
00:07:47.980 They're going to tell you all of those things.
00:07:49.880 They're not going to tell you this is a failed U.S. policy.
00:07:52.200 They're not going to tell you that Joe Biden let this person in.
00:07:54.680 They're not going to tell you that the person overstayed his visa.
00:07:58.600 They're not going to tell you that he believes that we are the infidels 0.99
00:08:01.140 and we must be killed. 0.97
00:08:02.540 That's what jihadists believe for more than what? 0.99
00:08:05.120 I mean, over a thousand years.
00:08:07.200 There were red flags here.
00:08:09.160 Why were they all ignored?
00:08:12.140 Allah Akbar, by the way, it's never a coincidence.
00:08:15.040 Allah Akbar means Allah is great.
00:08:16.780 Not great, the greatest, right?
00:08:18.320 Greater than God, greater than your laws, greater than your country,
00:08:21.180 greater than your life.
00:08:22.660 It's tied directly to Islamic conquest theology.
00:08:26.300 It appears alongside the Koran 933, which commands Islam to triumph over all other faiths. 0.93
00:08:33.400 All other faiths in this country and in the world.
00:08:36.200 It's been the shouting battle cry in nearly every major jihadist attack,
00:08:39.780 including the 9-11 hijackers, the Paris massacre,
00:08:43.040 the Pulse nightclub in Orlando in 2016, the London Bridge attackers,
00:08:47.840 the ISIS execution videos, the 2025 easy jet hijack attempt.
00:08:52.600 It's not a prayer.
00:08:53.460 It's a psychological warfare.
00:08:54.960 It's a battlefield signal meant to terrorize, intimidate, and sanctify the attack.
00:09:00.520 When witnesses heard the DC shooters screaming at mid-firefight,
00:09:03.900 they knew exactly what it meant.
00:09:05.780 They knew it was a terrorist attack. 0.71
00:09:07.100 They knew it was going to be someone that is Muslim.
00:09:09.480 But they're going to say none of this on the news.
00:09:11.920 They're going to make this go away so fast.
00:09:15.720 The clear connection between these attacks over and over again is obvious.
00:09:23.040 Whether it was Khalid Sheikh Mohammed, whether it was al-Baghdadi,
00:09:26.480 whether it was Taliban enforcers, whether it was radicalized European jihadists,
00:09:30.360 whether it's this guy here, what do you see consistently?
00:09:33.240 The same exact things over and over and over again.
00:09:38.080 And the Afghan connection and the warning that Washington ignored is obvious.
00:09:44.520 Biden's catastrophic 2021 Kabul withdrawal,
00:09:47.280 more than 80,000 Afghans were flown to the U.S. with incomplete vetting.
00:09:51.560 That is a fact we know.
00:09:53.200 The Department of Homeland Security later admitted that thousands had derogatory information.
00:09:58.240 Those are their words, not mine.
00:09:59.700 The Department of Homeland Security admitted that thousands of the 80,000 that were let in
00:10:04.600 had, quote, derogatory information, including possible terror ties.
00:10:10.200 Afghanistan remains one of the world's most intense jihadist incubators.
00:10:15.600 The Taliban, the ISIS-K, openly endorsed attacks on the West.
00:10:19.620 Biden brought them in anyway.
00:10:21.640 Our guardsmen, they're heroes.
00:10:23.480 But what are they being treated like?
00:10:25.380 Villains now by our own Democratic Party.
00:10:28.520 One guardsman, by the way, was airlifted in critical condition after taking rounds meant
00:10:32.200 to kill him.
00:10:32.980 And what do the jihadists do? 1.00
00:10:34.640 They seek to destroy.
00:10:36.080 I will say it right now.
00:10:37.580 I want a full release of the suspect's background.
00:10:40.460 I want any watch list that he was hit on or on.
00:10:43.540 I want all the immigration and vetting history.
00:10:46.380 I want his mosque affiliations.
00:10:48.380 I want online radicalization information.
00:10:51.280 I want all of the government failure points.
00:10:55.140 And by the way, I do want Joe Biden and his administration to be held responsible.
00:10:58.040 And accountable for this attack.
00:11:00.220 Let me be very clear what I am saying.
00:11:03.020 It is time to shut it all down.
00:11:05.160 People that are coming in that we're not vetting, that we don't know who they are from around
00:11:09.800 the world.
00:11:10.460 We need to shut it down.
00:11:13.140 Why do I say that?
00:11:14.420 Because the suspected D.C. National Guard shooter has been identified as an Afghan illegal
00:11:20.780 alien who entered the U.S. in 2021 under the Biden administration.
00:11:26.000 I want you to hear this latest from Fox News Channel about what we know about the shooter
00:11:32.500 and how he came into this country.
00:11:34.080 And I'll say it again.
00:11:34.740 Shut it all down now.
00:11:36.760 Listen.
00:11:37.340 Sources telling Fox News that the gunman is an Afghan national who was let in under Biden
00:11:43.540 and then overstayed his visa.
00:11:45.240 And this is in just moments ago.
00:11:48.060 The suspect apparently waited for the guardsman to come around the corner, then opened fire.
00:11:53.260 He shot a female guard in the chest, then walked up, took her firearm, and shot her point-blank
00:12:00.380 in the head. 0.53
00:12:01.600 He took her weapon and fired at other guard members, hitting one in the neck before a third
00:12:08.220 guardsman engaged him and brought him down.
00:12:10.860 Let's go live now to West Palm Beach, where Fox's Dana-Marie McNichol is standing by.
00:12:17.200 Dana-Marie, what has the reaction been from the White House today?
00:12:20.620 Hi, Jason.
00:12:21.380 Good evening.
00:12:22.220 Although President Trump is here in Florida, the White House went on lockdown immediately
00:12:26.240 after that shooting happened.
00:12:29.020 We know that the president was quickly briefed, and then he posted on Truth Social Updates who
00:12:34.680 he shared the suspect who shot the two National Guard members is severely wounded and will
00:12:40.540 co-pay a very steep price.
00:12:42.980 He wrote, God bless our great National Guard and all our military and law enforcement.
00:12:47.720 They are truly great people.
00:12:49.600 We know Senator Chuck Schumer.
00:12:51.000 He posted on X.
00:12:51.880 He's closely monitoring the situation and thanking first responders for quickly capturing the suspect
00:12:57.020 that Fox News just confirmed is an Afghan national who came into the United States during
00:13:02.500 Operation Allies Welcome in 2021 under the Biden administration.
00:13:07.560 What we do know is this man entered the U.S. in 2021 under the Biden administration.
00:13:13.080 He was in the country illegally.
00:13:15.400 He entered on 9-8 of 2021 during Operation Allies Welcome and overstayed his visa.
00:13:22.500 I also will go back to another basic point.
00:13:25.360 This is exactly why I'm in favor of the death penalty. 0.88
00:13:29.080 This Afghan individual should have never been in America. 1.00
00:13:32.200 He should have never been allowed to come in with the lack of vetting.
00:13:35.140 He entered the U.S. and then overstayed, yelling Allah Akbar while he did the shooting.
00:13:40.860 By the way, if you want to know who to blame for this tonight, this is on the Biden administration.
00:13:44.480 This is on the Democratic Party.
00:13:46.120 They allowed millions of people to come into this country illegally.
00:13:51.580 Millions.
00:13:52.380 This is a Democratic policy.
00:13:54.600 It's pretty clear.
00:13:56.060 Joe Biden did that.
00:13:58.080 He has been identified.
00:13:59.120 He entered in 2021 under Biden's open border policy.
00:14:05.420 You want to know who did this?
00:14:07.160 This is Joe Biden.
00:14:08.300 I don't know any other way to put it.
00:14:10.000 This is Joe Biden.
